Who watched this serie and what do you think of it? seems the strong point in this serie is the music more the characters, must be a worthy classic anime from 1998 lol

I prefer the older series......May only be six ep's but it's good O.<

Some did prefer the tokyo 2040, i think it will be a mater of preference here from what i have seen, altough i would have the 2 series if i could but i just cant find the old serie from 1987 in the format i need :banghead:

I like the orignal Bubble gum crisis series better than the kinda psycho 2040 version and of course theres Crash, which was nice if you wanted to just watch them overpower everything in sight.

yeah, i think they kinda ruined the boomers in the new 2040...at least the OG boomers enjoyed destroying everything the new ones just seem to act like zombies...

I loved 2040 for the voice acting but agree that the story kind of DIED >>.

true the voice acting quality is much better, i think thats true of most of the new animes coming out recently. 2040 looks good too, the animation was nice and clean, but it lacked the edge the original series had.

its on the shelves here in the US...not sure about where your from...try an online anime site to order it...geez i cant remember the name of it, i'll try and get one and post it later

Mmm, I quite like this series as well. I haven't watched the original though, so I can't compare. The American voice actors are terrible though, IMO.

I liked 2040, and the american actors weren't TOO bad. In fact, the commentarys were a riot.
