I liked Samurai X. I saw Rurouni Kenshin before it, so it kinda confused me. But it's a great story, even if it is sad. (i almost cried)

Nyehh.. It was 'Okay'. Not that I liked it all that much, but not so much that I hated it. It was one of those kind of likeanddisliked movies. Both, RK and SX were linked together in some way, so you can look at it as one big story split into to parts.

Isn't there already a bunch of these threads?
Oh well, it did really express Kenshin and his past. It wasn't that sad and I really thought Tomoe was a ditz. Reflections was sadder.

I do believe there are, Jagan. I think they were already closed though. O.o'

I liked it. My main beef with it, however, was that it didn't do Tomoe's character justice.

Rurouni Kenshin and Samurai X are one and the same. Rurouni Kenshin Tv series, Rurouni Kenshin OAVs (Trust and Betrayal and Reflections) and the Motion Picture... I just hate the name Samurai X - some stupid jenkies just had to give a different name to it. Why not use Kenshin, the Wanderer or Wandering Heart of the Sword (that's what Rurouni Kenshin really means)

The movie is the best in the series. I watched it in the summer on DVD... And I like it very... Very much.
The movie is really sad... I was in depression that summer, so the it was suits for me...

I cried when Kenshin grabbed Kaoru and kissed her back. That's all I have to say.

I guess you guys are talking about Reflections. The only part in the OVA that I liked was the fight with Enishi. The way they died was sad, though.

Trust & Betrayal was amazing, though. Kenshin as he was during the revolution.

Tsuiokuhen (Remembrances) was amazing! It was cool to see Kenshin as a young hitokiri, struggling to keep his sanity. Tomoe was mysterious and dignified. The ending just blew me away, even though I knew what was coming. In some ways, it was more fleshed out than the manga version, though I wish they had left Enishi's role intact.

Seisouhen (Reflections) is trash, pure and simple.

I liked it a lot because after watching Rurouni Kenshin, I had many unanswered questions. These OVAs answered them all and showed the past. Very sad indeed but that's what makes it simply sublime.

I like it, i always wanted to see it in a good animation instead of the old one. Though, it was sad, it was actually good to see how became the Hitokiri.

i loved it, it was sad, suspense, and thrilling! but it was soo sad when kenshin was betrayed by Tomoe it made me cry >_<. that was one of the sadest part in the movie for me T_T.

Well she did not TRULY betray him. She was deeply saddened and tried to take her own life remember?

I think she went to the Yaminobu to try and stop them, though how she thought she could do that is beyond me! Did she think her little dagger would be enough to defeat Tatsumi? Nice girl, but not very wise.

The movie is good, but it's not that great...
For me I like the OVA and the series more than tha movie, and I think the movie like a single epsiode from the series.

The series and movie are equally awesome. But the OVA is simply the greatest! So much depth, sadness, and beauty. -_-,

I think it was beautiful.

It was one of those movies where i was drawn right in - jaw dropped and totally immersed.

To me this the most solemn OVA I had ever watched. I love the new look of Sanosuke but I got dissappointed when Hiko still looked the same way. I was expecting he could have become an old fart.

I'd expect Hiko to look the same when he died. He's like a demigod.
