Wow, it's been like, many months since I last came here. I was looking around for some good mecha anime and since I recently made something in photoshop, I thought I'd go ahead and put it on here because I want the attention, and I kinda need help.

So since about January, I don't know what's wrong. Every time I open photoshop, all I can do is stare at a blank canvas for hours and hours. I never get the urge to make images anymore, and when I try to, I can't think of anything anymore. The feeling I get when I mouse over the abandoned icon on my desktop is best described as disgust. Personally, I'm amazed I even finished this (made yesterday) as was my sister (personal cheerleader?).

I'd go on about my art drama, but yeah, I don't know what to do anymore. I feel like I hit a brick wall and can't make anything better. I just keep doing the same crap I've been doing for a year. I guess I lost my spark? >_> Whatever, I guess I'll submit this to the galleries and remember the days when I had fun photoshopping.

It looks nice, but I think the bottom bar looks random. How about adding another one, perhaps in a different direction?

Bottom bar? It's supposed to be her sword, lol

I like it. It looks like it did take you forever to make it, and it doesn't look bad at all.
The colors blend great with the wallpaper, and it makes it look...
Well, the best way I can describe it is that it made me think of the Matrix, for some reason. lol.
It's awesome, and I would love to see more of your hard work. ^_^

First off, nice bg you made. It's bluey and it blends well with the scan.
Second, you did the cleaning on the scan, which makes it look stunning and a high quality-like scan.
Third, it's a no wonder people gets mistakes that the white line is actually the sword shining brightly. I'm not even sure myself to judge correctly if the sword needs to be silvery.
However, I am not sure if the text needs to be emboss. I do know it looks nice. But maybe use gradient. But that's just my thought.
Lastly, the text far below right, which is the copyright, is too small and a little bit transparent. Which makes it can't be read. Try to make it a little bit bigger, so that people could see your name and stuff.

But overall, good work. ^_^

Mm, I leave my artist info hard to see like that because I want it out of the way of the total art piece, so you'll only REALLY notice it when you're looking really hard for it. It's also just a little piece for me to quickly note if someone decides to steal anything I make.

About the sword, without the blurred edges (giving that glowing feel), the sword is extreeemely pixellated. Also, even on the original render that part of the sword was practically just a big white line. I'm not too sure what to do with it really myself.

And thanks for the input everyone!
