Next in line for Commander

Who would make the best Commander of Soul Society after Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryūsai?

I Believe the best thing to do is get Jūshirō Ukitake or Retsu Unohana to do it for one Retsu is the first or maybe second persopn to no that it was trick when he saw aizen's body. Yamamoto was most likely the first one without even seeing it. Even if Ukitake is sick he is one of the strongest Captians. Kenpachi cant even hold up to the Commander's Spirit Pressure and Jushiro's can. Retsu has nevpersoner had Captainsto fight or maybe i havent seen it but she wears the old type of Captains uniform like the Commander and Jushiro's. So im thinking she may be just as Strong or Stronget then Jushiro's. But i think She could hold her own against Gin and in the end beat him but i believe she will hold off Aizen for a short time then get defeated by him. But that my way of thinking.

I believe it would be Ukitake. Although he is weak, he indeed is stronger than the other shinigami captains. I do not think Unohana can be the Commander, simply because I've never seen her bankai. (Except the stingray she sits on, do correct me if she had shown her bankai) My second option would be Soi Fon, because she is also a very competent captain. After them, Hitsugaya is viable.

Kyouraku Shunsui, he's always clam and relaxed, would be pretty awesome to see him take the lead role

Ukitake probably. Kyouraku could be elligible, but I doubt he'd want to, considering how lazy he is.

To me Ukitake would be the best pick. He has shown great leadership ability and intelligence. He's one of the oldest captains and is obviously quite powerful. My only issue with him is his sickness. It causes him to be unavailable at certain key times.

Kyoraku would be my next suggestion but even though he is obviously very capable, I don't think his personality would go well with the position.

The most logical choice I can see then would be Byakuya. He is powerful and has connections since he is of a noble house.

To me first choice would be Byakuya, then Soi fon. That's what I think anyway.

I would go for Unohana to be the first, Byakuya the second, then Ukitaki the third one.

I just can't see Unohana being commander.

The commander must have leadership, intelligence, fairness as well as strong and have experience. Ukitake seems to fit the bill. The only thing holding him back is his health. We have yet to see Unohana fight so we can't gauge her strength but other than that she is qualified. I think Byakuya would be too strict and Zaraki would not enforce rules and just start fights. As for Histu he's still way too young and as seen before still does rash things. Soi fon actually wouldn't be too bad as she has proven herself to be a good leader yet she is not strong enough to command respect or be able to fight off an overthrow. Komamura is to weak, Shinsui is to lazy, and Mayuri is way too secretive.

OK Im thinking who should be best to take the place of Aizen,Gin,And Tousen, Im thinking Renji,cause he can use his bankai,Third seat in Zaraki's squad,and..................ICHIGO.

I would imagine Kira, Hinamori, and Hisagi (?) would replace them, since they're the vice captains. Renji and Ikkaku seem like more likely choices, but neither of them want to be captains. As for Ichigo...that's very unlikely, since he isn't even a member of any of the divisions (being stronger than the majority of them aside).
