[Kyuubi Naruto]

"What? Kyuubi is starting an RPG, no way."Is what those who know me around the forum might think at first sight. But yeah, I decided to get up and give it a try as my first RPG, hope you all enjoy it. But before we get this started, just to let you all know,

THIS IS APPROVED BY MAID MIA!

Well, I've been gone for quite a long while, and its been all because of this RPG.
I lied,I just havent been that active. But beside the point, I'm back with a brand new original RPG.(No duh) And, like I said earlier, this is my first. First time for everything, right?

And the rules......:

1. All AF rules apply.(No spamming,flaming, swear words, etc.)
2. Any disagreements between participants in the RPG,notify me.
3. I will be assigning a Co-GM or two, but to take a spot, I must rather know you well or see that you have a good reputation around the forum.
(More rules will be added later on.)

Now,let's begin.

RPG: Dawn of the Dragon

15 years ago,in a realm parallel to what we now know as Earth named Corinia, a war was being held that would alter the fate of Corinia and all of its inhabitants forever. A war between the 2 thriving races of Corinia, the DragoMancers, those born with the ability to summon Dragons and guide them in battle, and the Craters, demon spirits and command them in battle, had reached its peak. The races and their leaders, Kishiro Sumeragi (DragoMancer) and Shinori Katamura (Crater) were locked in a fierce battle. As it seemed Shinori had the win, a group of Salvagers, which are rather DragoMancers or Craters that wish for the unity of the two races, came to stop the fight which had been destroying the very land of Corinia. Seeing the destruction caused by the fight, Kishiro sacrificed himself to save the world of Corinia, and the Craters crowned themselves rulers of the realm.


15 years have passed. Corinia has gained a sense of peace between races, but the ruling of Shinori is cruel, and rebels have gathered. Unfortunately, the power of the Craters at this point is near unbearable, and those who dare rebel are killed,and hope for unity is small. But rumors have gone around about Kishiro's son, Manaka, reaching the age of 18 and taking the throne of leader of the DragoMancers. Manaka has called that there be a new age of DragoMancers to battle against the Craters, and has sent messages to all undiscovered DragoMancers throughout the realm to travel to the DM Kingdom to be recruited into the DragoMancers Rebellion in a celebration in the remaking of the DragoMancer race. As these rumors also ran through the multiple Crater Kingdom's, Kishiro has called for the same of the Craters.

So now, DragoMancers and Craters alike are heading toward the kingdoms of their race to aid in the making of a New Age, as a war begins to brew between the two races again. But this war promises to be different from the last, as rumors of the demise of the land of Corinia begin to spread.

As you have read in the History,this RPG consists of 2 different races and 3 different alliances:

DragoMancers: Those born with the ability to summon dragons and guide them in battle. Once summoned, their dragons are allowed to stay with them as long as they are not depleted of energy or injured to an extent. These dragons are able to use multiple types of elements in their attacks.

Craters: Those born with the ability to summon enormous demons and command them in battle.The demons, as they are usually larger than dragons, take more power to summon, but have more abilities than the dragons.

Salvagers: DragoMancers/Craters that do not believe in the fights against the races. They are a large society-like group of people who strive to bring true peace to Corinia. These are baiscally DragoMancers/Craters that arent aligned with the Race Kingdoms.

People in the RPG are able to choose which they would like to play as, although the number of players for each race has to be around even.

Bio: 15 years ago, the final battle between him and Koshiro Sumeragi took place. As he was about to end it all, stood on the back of his demon and watched as Koshiro gave his life up to save all of Corinia. His cold heart was not phased by this act and crowned his own self the ruler of Corinia, and all accepted this rule. Seeing the revival of the war take place before his eyes, he readies his kingdom for the arrival of the new recruits from all over Corinia.

Bio: Abel was born in the wrong area. Expected to be raised in a powerful family in the Creater land he was to be royalty. But then they got caught in the war killing his father and brother leaving his mother to die on his birth bed slightly inside the draco's country. He was put in a orphanage in which people treated him like dirt since he was creater giving him this anger against the country. He left one day after he fended off many villagers and fled. He met a solider who was a friend of his family and he taught him about his powers and trained him with a sword and claw.

Bio: Sakuya, throughout her life, was always a thinker. If a problem with her ever arose wether it'd be small or large she could always figure a solution. So as a result she spent most of her time helping her friends and others and playing strategy games in her early childhood. Her parents were infultraters before her so she would always mimic them and play hiding games a lot with her friends as a result she built up her stealth and agility. One day when she was about seven her parents went back out on another mission, Sakuya though everything would be fine and that they'd be back before she knew it just like everyother mission, but it wasn't. Her parents were killed on that mission, she then started to hate creaters with a loathesome firey passion. Sakuya swore her revenge and from that day on trined to master her skills. Around the age of 15 she joined the infultraters and has been going on missions ever since. Despite what most think by her outward appearence Sakuya is very kind and polite, she seems carefree all of the time except when angered or on a mission.

Bio: Born in Corinia Valkyrie was always amazed by dragons and their ways. Her granfather would tell her and her little brother stories about them. Valkyrie's father was killed when she was 7. In the small village where she lived in drago country some rouge Creaters started to cause michief and chaos. Her father and some other men tired to make them leave the village, but alas their plan failed. The men were killed along with her father. Growing up was hard of Valkyrie she had to watch over her little brother who had a serious illness. Her mother worked all the time. She barely had any time to herself,but when she did her granfather taught her the way of the bow. When she was 16 she joined the DragoMacers. Valkyrie enjoys sweets,tea and teasing simple minded people.

He doesn't speak much about his past, except in how he gained the powers of Necromancer from his predecessor, after the proper rituals, namely robbing his predecessor of life. He became a true dealer in death: giving it and taking it where he feels necessary. It seems odd that a dealer in death would lead a movement for peace. Dirge chooses to wave away questions and answer that he feels that death should stop being dealed in such quantities. He took the rank as leader of Slavagers through chosen force. His chosen weapons are a blackened, gnarled staff that channels his necomantic energies and a scimitar. She has hoped and continues to hope for nothing more than peace between the Creaters and DargoMacers. As she spent her time with the salvagers she worked her way up to co-leader rank. Bio: A mysterious person that during the war 15 years ago had killed more than 20 people even at the age of 7. His past shrouded in darkness as well as his heart, but he is actually a nice person. Known as an ordinary traveler, he never shows its dragon in front of someone else. Actually, not even his true personality and past. He travels all over Corina in order to find a friend who can accept him and help him to get him out of his troublesome past. He then interested in the war because of his past and once again, he swore loyalty to the DragoMancers.

Powers: Kyoshiro can fire bits of his energy out of his mouth or body at anything he chooses. He can summon a forbiddin weapon also called LuXion: (Pronounced; Luh-Shun/Meaning; Derived From Chinese Names For 'Strength', 'Fast', and 'Fire') It normally looks like a normal Katana but when the release command Slay is said the katana's abilites activte. For the first sixty seconds, a massive amount of power will be released into the wielder, mainly Spirit and other Ethereal Energies, as this energy will form itself into Six Wings on Ryou's back, making him look somewhat like a Seraphim. The Spirit Pressure generated from this causes a massive 'storm' of spirit energy to form around the wielder, affecting the ethereal and corporeal planes, along with most matter. On normal planets, this will often cause a storm to form overhead, the rain drenched with Oni and the lightning formed of Yuu Ryoichi.

As the clock counts down, the wings seem to burn away, like a fuse on a bomb, and the Spirit Pressure will begin to flow around the Wielder, slowly but surely absorbing into his body. While this is happening, it is possible to use the "Ichigeki Hissatsu" technique. This turns the blade into a catalyst for all the energy, focusing it onto the edge of the sword, as it will be discharged with the next slash. Discharging the technique can be done in several ways, such as an orb of energy, double helix beams, or even a spear, but the default form is a beam of light that travels forward, pitched up at a thirty two degree angle. The blade can only be used by Kyoshiro or Ryou. Kyoshiro can also use a normal katana he holds in his hands.

The gates fell and the forecourt was lost. Many of the guards were killed and her room was attacked as well. She ran away with the demon to hone her skill with a blade, working as a mercenary and only using the demon when it was absolutely necessary. She was recruited by the Craters at twenty and has since risen to the rank of captain. Through building her skill as a mercenary combined with the experience of almost dying, Efrieda has yet to be bested on the battlefield while fighting for the Craters. Throughout her life, she never leanred how to use Artorlasaga to "steal" human life by any means

With his determination and gifted intellect it did not take him long to climb very far up the ranks. This also had something to do with the level that he works with his demon Kagero. Bio: Julian was born into a small family, a father a mother and an older brother. His mother was a DragoMancer and his father was a Crater. They were a part of the Salvagers, wanting peace between the DragoMancers and the Craters. His older brother, however, sided with the DragoMancers and he had sided with the Craters. Julian had asked his father if he could teach him how to summon a Demon. But both his mother and father had told him it was something they were born with, it was just a matter of discovering if he could do it or not. Julian’s brother had left them behind when he turned sixteen, joining the Dragomancers in the battle fighting against the Craters. His heart and way of thinking had been corrupted over the years and had finally turned his back to his family, killing his parents with no hesitation or regret. He was following orders after all and his orders were to kill any who sided with the Craters or supported the Salvagers. Julian’s older brother, Jake, had trapped him in his own house and was going to kill him when Julian just looked up at him with tears in his eyes, he was only 11 at the time, and couldn’t understand why his brother would do something like this. He cried for help, but it never came, Julian was hunched over the bodies of his parents, screaming at the top of his lungs for any kind of help, and it answered, a clawed hand slashed outward, slashing the face of his older brother, leaving four long scars across his face. Julian turned to look in the eyes of a Demon, a little bigger than Julian, baring it’s teeth at his brother who backed away slowly. Jake left him forever, seemingly disappearing from existence. Jake had seen the image of his father in his little brother that day, and it frightened him into hiding, not wanting to be found by the world again. Julian, however practiced with other Craters in the Salvager group, learning how to summon his demon and fight with a sword. He soon sided with the Craters, leaving the Salvagers he had stayed with.

I just kinda stumbled across this rp, and it looks good.

I just want to ask (and maybe say) a few things before I post a character and ask if I can join:

Firstly: The rpg has, according to yourself, just started, but I don't have the time right now (library) to check it... so, can I ask how far through the rpg has currently gotten? It's just so it can help me to sort out a posisble intro post, as I suck rather badly at introduction posts.

Secondly: How many posts a day do you think the rpg will have? (I can only post once at most per day, and none at weekends.)

In case it's not too obvious, I have rped here before and I do rp on my site in a large rp with a character who is a dracomancer (aka a DragoMancer in this rpg), but the site's down and I'm unsure if it'll get online again.

In the event it stays offine, it is okay for me to post my character? Do I also need to post a 'sample' of my style of role-playing, in case you need to look at the level of skill I have?

Here's hoping. I think dragons are awesome (Everyone knows that) and it's been a while since I've rped here.

The only drawback to that is, my character sheet of Kiyo (the character I intend to use here) was fully posted on that site with all the details and images, and I lack most of the information and the images.

Appearance: (I need to get the image for this) basic description: She stands at roughly 5‘ 3”. She has shoulder-length, light brown hair and crystal blue eyes. She wears a red headband in her hair (one of the girl ones O_o) Her clothing is rough, such as long-sleeved shirts and jeans, and often are slightly too big for her.
Bio: Kiyo grew up from a young age in a small village quite some distance from where the majority of the fighting between the DragoMancers and the Craters had taken place. Though her young childhood was peaceful at first, the war between the two races caused her a lot of distress and fright, especially from the giant demons the Craters could summon. Up until the age of twelve she lived in a lot of fright amongst the others in her village, most of which were Craters themselves. As she turned twelve, her parents began to notice her increasing interest in dragons, but at first felt it was possibly a ‘phase’ as she was uneasy around the demon summoners and ignored it. When she turned fourteen her parents realised she wasn’t ‘growing out’ of her interest in the dragons and effectively had her exiled from the village for it before the news of this spread and brought war and death to their homes.

Having been exiled, Kiyo was forced to wander, but was eventually taken in by a group of Salvagers. She couldn’t understand at all why she had been thrown out of her home just because she was scared of demons, but not of dragons, but was too scared that if she asked the Salvagers or made it obvious that she had interest in them, they would throw her out too. It wasn’t too long after she was taken in before she found herself able to summon a dragon (something she had dreamed of being able to do) and rather than throw her out, the group helped her to control the power she had as well as explain why she had been exiled.

Kiyo herself doesn’t understand why there is a war between the two – she believes that as they can both summon creatures, that they are effectively the same – and joined the Salvagers’ cause to prevent a second war and to bring a peace and unity amongst the two.

Powers: Fen’s power derives mostly from his elemental control over fire and wind. Like most dragons, he can breathe (spit) fire, but his strongest strengths lie in his ability to manipulate the two elemental forces almost directly, although it requires a lot of skill and energy in doing so.
His skill with this manipulation allows him control over the elements separately, or together as one force. Most commonly he manipulates the two elements separately, such as to summon fire-shields around himself, or to force air to harden into a ‘solid’ object (such as a projectile), but he can manipulate the two elemental forces together as one direct force with much more power than the two elements separate. One example is his summoning of ‘fire-storms’.

(Note – his powers aren’t always directly offensive. He can control the two elements enough to make them harmless as well as harmful – especially in his fire attacks.)
