The days had rolled over and over, passing weeks as the Lestern nation brought it’s armies upon the focal points of the Kingdom. Lord Culbrin let his forces into the kingdom from the far of natural bays, setting up fortresses and outposts along some of the major roads, though he had dared not to attempt to capture the illustrious beauty of the Fireflies in fear of his attempts failing with devastating effects. He had stayed on his flagship, the Armada, while watching with close eyes.

Seneth, the son of Theous; Lord and Master of Lesternia and many other lands took his position at the side of his father’s seat, letting his elbow rest at the top knob of the wooden chair. This day was far into the invasion by the end of it’s fifth week and neither side budged.

Seneth looked out the nearby window as the night fell upon the continents. Seneth could see their side light up as the fireflies started their cycle once again, taking light to the sky brilliantly in a stunning burst of soft green and yellow glows, a few reds and blues also scattered amongst the swarm as it took off towards Burning Sky Mountain from Klous Mous to Rinbenki. The people all looked out towards the sky from either side and watched as the insects of life would beautifully swirl and swarm upon the mountain. They let off their faint glow and from their essence rang out a wave calling out to the chosen, all sparked from within the call of the land and the drawing of their attention.

The insects then scattered off the mountain before reforming their swarm to continue their journey to Rinbenki. But they left the message that was to be instilled, the sleeping one within would soon awake.

Seneth had sat there looking from the wide glassed side window of the ship as his father pondered at his maps, the Prince tilted his head as the insects seemed to disappear from his far off sight from the sea. He sighed lightly before looking down at his fathers work, and with little care he tapped his father on the shoulder and whispered

“I’m going to sleep… “ He walked out of the room and down the hallway, to his room presumably.

Theous scratched the blue skin at his forehead and grunted to himself about his troubles, his eyes turned a dull crimson before swirling into a rose red. He then nodded off in his chair, maps and pens covering him.

A rumble came from the top of the mountain, where there was a deep cavern room with a large stone crest as it‘s center table. The crest took the shape of a firefly, painted over with the life blood of this continent. The ceiling was open far above the entrance of the large metal door and the light of the stars shined through. From the large decorative crest erupted a fabulous light and there sat the silhouettes of each Memory, in white outline and blue tinted shape as well as each chosen’s image. In the far back of this large red stone room, was a stone coffin with the same crest upon it’s cover and within laid the last of the original chosen.

The stone started to rumble as the energy given off by the wave of Firefly force entered it’s cracks and tiny openings. It filled the inside of the coffin with such a power that it started to ring, then roar out like a monstrous creature. Before long, the vibrations came harder and harder upon the stone but all fell silent as the air stayed still. Within the coffin the laid heroes Memory, his chosen device of the lord shined out in a radiant black of lighted origin. The gravity holding don the stone lifted and from within the black steel blade roared out once more like a Dragon into the silence.

A hand burst through the crested stone with awesome force, a leather gloved and Strynium armored arm and hand burst through the rock before reaching back. The hand came out another side before the lid shattered into many chunks of rock. Floating from the coffin came out the tall pale hero and his blade of black glow; his Desolate Dragon. He landed softly upon the large stone table as you could say and at it’s center he stood looking at the silhouettes of the chosen and their Memories.

A stern look came upon his face as he engraved each of their faces into his mind before sheathing down his Dragon at his side, the mighty blade humming for a few moments before a collection of air and energy ran about the crest and while swirling about the pale one. He looked off into the distance before focusing

“I’m getting old… how long has it been mighty Lord?”

From the crest appeared a man with crystal like features about his being, and his body lit up like the stars above. The being laid a hand upon the pale one and sighed out.

“Ghalion, over a thousand years have passed and yet, your services are needed once again.”

Ghalion as he was labeled nodded slowly before closing his eyes “I know what is happening.. I need to but find them all and give them their Memory, I’ll surely do this. The alliances must be forged once more.” He then turned towards the sky and his eyes sparkled in their galaxy blue hue “Between the light and darkness I ride, and for my honor I will accept my fate. “

The glowing body dissipated as it's voice struck Ghalion from the wind “Then go on, and meet fate with powerful hands.”

Colm watched as the lords and ladies assembled. his room in the castle was on the highest tower in the eastern rampart, he loved to watch the sun rise from behind the forests of his youth then slowly make its way over his little tower. the fireflies weren't near Arceola yet, he couldn't remember when they would next float beautifully in this part of the region next. he took off his light shirt and short fencing skirt. he had been praticing with a member of the guard earlier in the day and hadn't changed. he walked over to his wardrobe and picked out his favourite formal clothes.
he missed the times when he could just sit in the forest with the wolfs and wear nothing at all. nature had made him like that but he had to cover up; it was all the people in society cared about. it wasn't that he didn't like his life. Colm chuckled darkly at the thought. everyone thought he was too moody anyway, he didn't need the added aggravation that he hated his own life and anyway, the ladies loved his exotic wild looks and sulleness, it gave them all something to talk about.
it wasn't long before the lanturns were lit in the courtyard and the bell was rung to signal the start of the summer festival.
Colm could hardly believe they would still hold the festival with the war going on but the king, his father, had ordered it. to help boost morale.
he went to close the wardrobe and noticed his old weapon in the bottom. it was what he had used when he was with the wolfs to bring down some of the larger prey. he fully closed the door. he hated being reminded of the wolfs, the only time he could ever get out of the castle to see them was in winter, when there was as little a chance of him being seen running around in the woods.
he didn't have a very big part to play during the festival, he had been taught how to swordfight ever since he had been brought to the castle and he was to put on a show tonight, with one of the castle guard. he prefered to use the weapon he found in the forest but his father had forbidden it at such a prestigious event. he grabbed his fencing mask from the side table and made his way down to the courtyard, he had been told to hold back against the guard and put on a good show. Colm just wanted to finish him off quick and get back to his room. he sighed, oh the pains of high society...

Hugo leaned against the rear wall with his head down, his arms folded and his tail wrapped around him, his swords had been broken by the last guard that came into his prison "Grrrr...." he growled softly with a gentle sigh of depression "This sucks, I can't even escape a simple stone cell....this should have been easy."

Hugo sinked to the sandy floor and sat there for a moment pondering for a way to get out, just then it hit him "Wait a minute....I am an elemental, I am such an idiot I can just use the sand to cut down this stone prison."

He smirked and laughed "I will have so much fun." He crossed his legs and concentrated on the walls of the prison and thought to himself "Sands of mother earth heed my cry and help me out of this dark prison."

Just as soon as he opened his eyes a gust of sand shot from the ground surrounding the whole prison in sand. "Mm-m mm....hahahahahahahahaha!" He then jumped out of the top of the tornado of sand and looked down below as he smirked "Later losers!."

The towns guards and people looked up to see what had happened but were blinded by the sand, the town market was being destroyed by the tornado of sand shards of wood impaled citizens and guards.

Hugo has escaped, but the question was.....where would he go?

The blade appeared in his hand. The massive poleaxe gleamed in the midnight darkness, it seemed fresh and new, the eye in the center of its massive blade almost stirred with the breath of new life. The old had passed from existance and the new had replaced. The cycle of the day, one of the smallest cogs in the clock of time had come full circle and it was once more at its beginning. The day pregnant with the same possiblities it had been pregnant with for eons before, if there were anyone alive who could remember. But no one could. The turning wheels of the clock had been forgotten, even by their maker.

The boy's eyes opened, they were vague and unfamiliar with the surroundings. "What the hell?" he droned slightly, not knowing where he was or who he was or anything else about himself save what he knew a priori, without experience. He knew he existed because their were thoughts in his head. He knew there was a world of perception, even if not having corresponding physical objects that existed in and of themselves, because his mind was filled with sense data. Save for the rudimentary muscle memory and structures so well-worn they were engrained into the subconcious, like the great mountains and valley's that now surrounded him in the middle of this unknown mountain chain. He knew language but little more... some vague knowledge of culture... and other rudiements of knowledge. Mere concepts. they did not interact in his mind and he could not make the common associations with them that might come naturally to some. He could try to reason the concepts together in relation, but lacking experience there was little else he could do.

He stood though and his first thought was to give himself identity. He was alone, the center of this universe which now spread out around him so cold and fearful he snatched towards the stablity of identity. Something that belong to him that could not be lost and was of him and only him. What he sought was a name. A way to place himself into his world of unrelated concepts... of pure intuitions that lacked the physical vessal to make them realities. But he touched himself and knew he had that vessal. He was a creature of flesh, as he knew the concept of flesh. But there was no way to attach this empirical sensation to the world of his concepts unless he conceptualized it with a word, a name. If he did not, his vessal would forever exist outside of his rational mind and he would be unable to function as an logical, rational entity. Searching himself he found on his torn shirt three words, "Flagrare Al Masia". And he took that label as his own, hoping that it was not the name of the shirt for then he would have improperly given himself defination.

He was perplexed by this fear. Why need he fear improper definition? As long as the concepts existed in his own mind what mattered whether there was a correct definition that existed in and of itself outside of him? But... he began to think... he knew he existed. He could distinguish himself as an entity, as a being of rationalizations and logic. Therefore, in order to distinguish himself, he needed something to distinguish himself from and it was to those things, even if he did not know how they existed in and of themselves, that he was fearful of incorrect definition. For they, even lacking a rational mind of his would act according to the laws of the universe, for if they would follow a certain program as accorded by their natures, which he may or may not be able to intuit. And if they followed such a program they would find his poor definition vexing and may isolate him as being broken and thus try to seperate him from their world, defined as it was by something he would call a transcendental program.

Having acquired definition he looked around and accorded each of his empirical sensations a pure concept that he could recall and from his various analytical concepts made synthetic ones. Tree, this was the concept he gave to the brown (for such was the concept he held of the color) cylinder which topped itself with green plummage and stood erect high above his head. Mountain, he gave to the massive rock jutting from the earth into the sky to such a height that it seemed covered by sem-... no... he seemed to recall stigma around that word that would sicken people, so he decided to call the christening stuff at the top snow. Politeness... people... these seemed alone and strange in that they presupposed experience, which to his memory he did not have. It was bizarre and surreal. But still he felt these unassociable synthetic concepts, like floating ghosts admist the mountains and vallys of the pure intuitions that made up the structure of his mind.

After some time he had associated himself to the world around him and this state which he knew to be night... it held darkness and was defined by darkness. Therefore, he knew that there would be a period of light which he knew to be defined day in order for it to be different from, for definitions were relative and something known for darkness needed something forged from light to be defined from.

Suddenly there was a rush of excitement through his body as he stood up, a rush that did not show on his immutably unenthused face. It was brief, he called this emotion hope. And it was followed almost immediately by an unfathomable despair. Neither of these feelings, for thus was all he could call them, lacking a known stimuli in his empirical surroundings. All through him he felt the sharp sting of doom. But it was nothing.

Then he asked a question that crushed all his previous thoughts with its weight. Why? Why did he exist? What was his purpose? His shoulders sagged as this burden slammed onto his back. Rationality, he realized, could never grasp why. It could create a series of possiblities but never make the final bridge. It could outline reasons, logical ones and others but could never reach into the inscrutable murk that was the world. For the Trandscendental Program could never be understood in and of itself and therefore without the Transcendental Program, the why could never be grasped. Even his own mind, sensations could not be understood in the realm of the why. They only acted on his conciousness and he didn't even know their connections to the reality around him, if even there was a reality that surrounded him.

He had no knowledge of why. He had now reason to move, and for a moment he just desired to sit there. Seeing no reason to move from his spot. But... maybe... just maybe... he could find his purpose out there or create his own. It seemed impossible to make a why. To construct something so fake and irrational. But there was a beauty in that. He didn't know the why for his seeing beauty in it, like all whys he couldn't construct a reason with his logic, but he liked it. The beauty of futility. no... The Beauty of Futility. There. That was it. The endless cycles were so filled with scintilating power dispite their powerlessness. Despite the despair he became compelled to move and so, dragging behind him his poleaxe, its blade leaving a small channel in the earth, he made his way towards the known world. But he wasn't heading to the knowing world, for he was only heading deeper into his own mind even as his feet moved along the earth.

Within the bowls of a tormenting place, lives a broken mind a broken soul-

Fa Verreuil permitted a lachyrmose sigh to surpass his peachy lips as he shook his head in a dejected manner. His osteal hands clinging to his beloved poetry notebook as his bright optics studied the words he had inscripted.

Rubbish

Not satisfied with what he wrote, Fa crumpled to the achromatic parchment all the while ripping the page from the note book and unto the gaunt, windswept terra cotta.

How long shall I wander here...

The train of thought wasn't necessarily an inquiry, Fa knew when he would leave the desolate land and meander on to a verdurous setting; he was merely contemplating on how much more could he take of secluding himself from others, how many more days and months of vagabondship could he undergo?

Lifting a shoulder into a negligent shrug he cast the notion from his mind, recommencing his journey to Rinbeki, his home. Albeit his mind yearned to voyage more, every other tissue of his very being desired to return to the lanf of which he came from.

Ready or not? Here I come.

Now Fa understood what those words meant, as he trudged along the long narrow pathway to the borders of Rinbeki. He came to a halt at the edge of a cliff just adjacent to what appeared to be an insubstantial bridge. He titled his head upward, light strands of hair dancing infront of his perception in a howling gale. Observing the once recognizable plane; he crossed his lithe arms before himself, the heavy-armored limbs scraping against eachother as steel upon steel produced a shower of wan sparks.

Just beyond that bridge...

A laugh ringend trough the forest of himora a small farming town not to far away from rinbekie. Flare ran happily through the forest ocassionaly making a jump over a fallen log or over some stones that crossed a small river. Some firefly's cirkeld her and she giggled making a few playfull atempts to capture one. She knew there was a small festival in the villiage but she did not care, al thoughe she loved to help the farmers she loved being in forest more. She ran into a clearing and sqeeuled in delight as some deers looked at her. She walked towards them and they didn't run since they knew her, she went to the leader of the herd and bowed before rubbing his nose. She walked from him to a young foal and scratched him behind the ears unaware of the small tremor that shook the earth. She blinked as the deers stiffened and suddenly ran off, she shrugged they probely sensed something she did not.

Smilling she walked towards the small lake of himora and sat on her favorite rock letting her filthy feet dangle in the water. She breathed in the clean night ear and looked at the stars that appeared. She smiles 'this life is so peacefull, i hope it stays that way' she thought.

Albert Rhoad walked along the desert, following the path the fireflies made moments before, "Ohhh, I miss the manor. I knew mom wouldn't let me go to war so I went at night...But I could at least have ridden a carriage," Al whined, remembering the night.

-flashback-
It was a dark, silent night only a week after the war started. Albert was leaving his manor by night, so he could escape Alisa's,his mother, protective grasp. As Albert crept out in white leather pants, leather boots, a white cotten shirt(or maybe it was wool), and a blue cape, his father, William Rhoad, appeared with a frown covering his young looking face.
"Albert, stop where you are," the dragon said with authority. William spun around at hearing his father's stern voice.
"Father...I can't let a war ravage my land while I hide in the darkness and protection of my home. I will fight to defend what I believe," Albert said, with unbreakable resolve.
William just smiled at his son, "I understand, but you are a dragon and dragons have honor. A draconic tradition is to head to his father's birthplace before battle," William said in a stern voice.
Albert smiled at his dad, "Thank you, Father. I will not let you down. I will head to your birth place: Burning Sky Mountain, and pray to the gods, goodbye," Albert said as he rushed off into the night, hearing these last words from his father: "Look for the Twilight Vampire that lives in the mountain..."
-end flashback-

It had been four weeks since his father said those words to him, and they still stuck in his mind, what did his father mean by that, who is this Twilight Vampire anyway, he could only hope to know. In the four weeks, Albert had made it to Klous Mous, and was half way to Rinbenki. Albert had brought with him a broadsword of common design for protection. With the patrols that came, there were only a few young monsters in the area. The young weren't strong enough to get past Albert's defenses, except for a bite by a wolf during the first week. Albert sighed, "I haven't bathed in weeks(it happens), these clothes are old and dirty, and I'm running out of food. Worst Case Scenario: I die on the road to the mountain." Albert just kept walking, hoping he would come to a town or something.

Akira watched the fireflies dance in the night sky. He slowly and watched to see this sight with his family, who would most likely, be watching them on the front porch. He missed his family but continued to smile. He held his hand into the air and felt the power of one of the fireflies that past by his hand. He closed his eyes and remembered the day he left his family to fight in the war.

~ Flashback ~

"Akira!!!!!" His father yelled from the front of the house, his voice sounding like a ragin wolf's that is about to attack.

"Yes Father what is it??" Akira Asked as he looked at his father's eyes the crimson red that seemed to burn a whole right thorught Akira. He quickly rubbed his eyes and looked around thinking he forgot to do something or misplaced something.

"Why??? Why Akira must you go against my wishes? Why must you always go and do something that could get you killed or worst destroy this family!!!!"

Akira had never heard his father this mad and he slowly stood up from his seat where the family was having their dinner,It was Akirafavorite,Roasted Duck and veggies. He looked at his mother and then at his three younger siblings. "Father what are you talking about?"

His father quickly shot across the table with a speed that Akira had never seen his father use. His father quickly slammed his fist into Akira's stomach sending him into the wall behind him. " Im talking about this BOY!!!!!!" Akira's father threw a katana onto the table and looked at his son. His eyes were blood shot red and his fangs were begining to grow outward.

Akira looked at his family and then at his father. He turned his head and said nothing. He didint want to answer in fear of upsetting his family even more.

"If you want to join the war then go and fight and leave everything behind you.........,Akira Looked at his father with his mouth open wide.........Are you listening boy get out and go fight and dont come back intel the war is over and if we lose then odnt come back at ALLL!!!"

Akira slowly stood up to his foot and walked past his father. he looked at his mother who had started to cry and his brother who held the sword in his hands. Akira toke the blade form him and tied it to his back. He slowly walked out of the house ,but was stopped by his twin younger sisters. He hugged them and told them to be good and that their older brother would defeat the enemy before summer was over. That was so long ago that Akira has forgotton how long it was sense he was last with his family.

~ Back To Right Now ~

Akira closed his hand and opened his eyes. He slowly opened his hand and let the firefly that was in it loose. He stood up and brushed his red hair back showing his red eyes. He smiled lightly and turn toward the direction of the Burning Sky Mountain, whick seemed to be calling him.

Ever since coming off the plateaus, you could say that Ulthar had to accomodate to a full slew of discomforts. Walking flat on the earth left him feeling exposed. Walking, for that matter, having to clump his toes together, wasn't the most comfortable action. The lack of winds to resist left him feeling odd, not compensating in stance like he'd usually do. Hugging his lower arms to his chest. Wearing these clothes to avoid odd questions, difficult answers, and becoming the local freak show.

Thankfully, he wasn't wandering. He had a fixed goal in mind, one chosen after consulting the Histories: Burning Sky Mountain. Once deciding that, he'd planned his route. He could go up and down a chain of gentle foothills that stretched between the two geological features, except that the route was empty. Ulthar had opted for another route that would take him around the foothills, through a small number of villages, and get him to the same destination. Only thing to do then was to go up the mountain, something that seemed no trouble at all.

Except for the walking. Lengon weren't huge walkers, they were climbers. Ulthar, certain he was alone, pulled the mouth-wrap down and breathed for a bit, his vertical jaw opening and closing slightly with each breath. He walked a stretch like this, then pulled the flap of cloth back up. He had a fexible cloth bag hanging down his back, but it didn't bother him. It was just filled with cloth and small survival necessities. Shkatank eggs weighed more and were more delicate, but just by a hair on the latter.

Thought of the eggs brought back the merchant's tale of a seller proving how tough the eggs were, by throwing one at his assistant's head. The humor brought his spirits up, but oh how he wished for something to climb.

A slim figure barely pranced around the marketplace of Rinbenki, almost giving a frown to the ones staring at her. Namaki Tarashida brushed back her snow white bangs from her lilac-colorstained eyes. The fireflies would be coming around this time of the year. The Oni couldn't wait. Her passion and fascination came from the magical creatures that gave a sound of their fluttering wings to the three cities. They should've been migrating as these exciting thoughts ran through her mind. 'They're going to be here, and my skills will be stronger than ever,' were the first words that her thoughts formed. Then, Namaki took in a deep breath of fresh air, slowly closing her eyes. She corrected herself. 'The pride of nature is coming. I should be blessed to catch sound a wonderful sight the universe gave us.' It seemed quite unusual that someone of her age, 524 years of being the spawn of an Elementalia and Black Flame-practicing Ghost Oni, was so awed by a sight of flying bugs, when there was so much more left in the universe for her to see.

"You could be studying the arts in one of the two other countries, but you want to stay here and wait another 364 days for a sight you'll catch in the forests." people told her. They were almost insulted when their invitations were rejected to join them to Klau Mous or Arceola. But the reason why not made the others realize that they were blessed not to have the woman around.

"Please... just tell me why," there was a small girl asking Namaki why she did not ever dream of going to Klau Mous in her memories. "You don't like it there?"

The reason why? "Because... you just can't watch the fireflies there. It's nice and cozy here, and a great view, too." her reply read as a funny, light statement; her tone was less than happy with the girl. "Just... you'll learn all about them when you get older. You will. Can you just...?" back then, she'd gotten into her second high school year. Namaki was a strange girl. Never, would she let anyone in. With a joke about her that was meant for direct humor, it would get shot down with a, "Shut up."

Nonetheless, she stopped drifting, and found herself staring at a cherry blossom tree. She hated thinking about her past as the "Biangered girl".

'Oh look,' The cherry blossoms were opening up their petals.

A slightly pale figure walked briskly down a road his red robes swaying behind him in the slight breeze. A spear shot out from his right side as he held his mighty weapon. He looked up to the sky hoping to see the gloious sight that he saw not to long ago of the firfly leaving from Klau Mous and setting towards the high mountains of Rinbenki. Latey he had felt the spear calling to go to Rinbenki almost making him go he set off in a steady motion hoping to get to Rinbenki in three days. However, since The Fireflys appearance the spear started to demand a faster pace to reach Rinbenki by dawn, making him to walk from a slow to an almost run.

The man continued along while looking throughout the road hoping not to find any travliers. He had some trouble in the past with them, but the spear seemed more then able to despose of them. The spear was a mystery to him even for travling with him for about a month. The man looked up ahead and could see the faint outline of the monsterious mountains of Rinbenki. Smirking he said, "Well Shinon, you've made it to Rinbenki."

Flare smiled and stood after sitting for a while. She started towards the villiage when she saw a traveler in red robes and a spear through the thinning treeline. She frowned it was not really common to see a traveler at night. She shifted into her horse form and galloped along the thinning tree line making sure she was a bit infront him and then came out of the forest her ears swirling and moving. Her eyes sparked in curosity as she swayed her tail. She walked a bit towards shinnon but stil stayed at a save distance her ears still moving.

She was curious but carefull it was not uncommon that travelers saw her and atempted to capture her. She had been lucky mostly she managed to free herself or a farmer came and claimed her as his horse that broke out off his pen. She snorted and lowered her head a bit nibbleling on some grass but keeping her eyes on the traverler,

OCC: Tet just say if you don't like the way that i'm shaping arcleora or its leader. and do i need a lackie sheet for Isacc like in neathernea or is he ok?

Colm passed a few of the younger, posher citiziens. they cheered as he passed or depending whether he had beat their older brother or such they mocked him and asked whether he wanted them to get a medic ready. he passed a open window looking out over Aquaina. the capital was beautiful. although only during the night, in the day the slums could be seen easily out on the south side of the great bridge. however by night everywhere looked beautiful under the glow of lanturns or sometimes the fireflies.
he carried on down until he reached ground level. the courtyard was decorated with the most beautiful lights (that resembled the fireflies) and the entire stone floor was covered with a intricate woven cloth, held down by pegs every few meters. drink was already in fast flow. a few teenages not unlike himself stumbled past and a fat old monk sat tilted on a chair hicupping.
Colm smiled to himself and pulled the fencing mask over his face, he couldn't stand being stared at all of the time. luckily nobody even noticed the royal prince make his way towards the king.
"father." he nodded and took off the mask.
the king looked at his adopted son and smiled.
he tried not to show favoutism but Colm was more of a man than his other son. Isacc was nearing 20 yet still couldn't handle a spear with the authority demanded of a future leader. yes, sure he had never seen such a sharp mind. but could a mind of mathematics and science rule a kingdom?
"are you ready for your fight?" he asked his son.
Colm looked up and nodded, "when am i fighting?"
"just as soon as the dancing troop from Klou Mous have done their recital." he said.
Colm nodded and made his way over to the food table. he didn't feel very hungry but he grabbed a glass of punch anyway. he looked back at the king. Markus Gryphlon was nearing 50 but still showed the power of movement as a 20 year old. he was built big and was slightly letting himself go, however he had gone into a strict regime for his fitness, since the direct threat of war. he had always been kind to both Colm and Isacc and treated them as equal. he had personally trained Colm into the social figure he was today and Colm loved him for that. he just wished he could see the wolfs a bit more often.
Isacc walked over, dressed in his usual robes of dark red with the green stitching.
"I've done it." he beamed happily, "finally i can concentrate firefly magic into inanimate objects, just this minute i have made one of the maids mops do a small 2-step dance. hahaha."
his laugh was so full of happiness Colm found hiself smiling. he patted Isacc on the back and shook his hand.
"You'll be a millionaire!" colm grinned, "even without the kingdoms treasuries."
Isacc said slowly, "yes, its just a shame i can't help you in your fight."
Colm smiled, "i'm only fighting a guard, how hard can it be?"
isacc didn't smile back, "didn't you hear, the captain of the guard has hired one of Rinbeki's most able fighters. there all sick of you beating them." Isacc grinned at the look on Colms face, then stopped smiling himself as a mountain of a man stepped though the arch of the courtyard, holding a rapier in one hand and a mask in the other.
the dancing troop finished and Colm could only think about the revenge he was going to get on the captain of the guard. maybe he could get one of Isacc's magic pencils and make it fly up his nose...

Raising his hands towards the open way above the cast iron door, Ghalion looked to the night stars with his galaxy blue eyes and let his body become nothing. By this he floated up into the air before his form burst into a black light and a swarm of bat shaped bits of energy shot out the open way into the sky. Some chosen were near and that was something Ghalion looked forward to, at least it wouldn't take him to long to gather them up. The vision of many eyes scanned around as the wings flapped violently to keep flight and before heading half way down the massive mountain he felt the nearest one.

He took a nose dive towards the source of familiar power and essence, so very familiar in fact. He couldn't help but be perplexed as his many bits of force shot down through the night air. There he was, a boy it seemed, looking about the age of 14. He was pale... pale? But there was more to him, inside he could see the twilight essence spiraling from within, yet it seemed renewed to some degree.

"He couldn't have just been born..." the massive collection of energy hit the ground and reformed his body. He caught his breath as he leaned against a tree looking to the boy. "I sense...he is of Ravenwing clout." His thoughts dabbled, another of his kind was of the new chosen? What an idea.

He stepped out before the boy with his galaxy irises turning and tilting their speckled shine like the constellations from above and the blue hinted out more and more before he raised his hands to show he wasn't armed. He looked into the boy's eyes with sheer calm and cool, yet serious precision.

Words needn't be said, his aura had been reaching out to the boy. Though he seemed to be like a blank slate there was still what he was in his body, which could feel Ghalion's intention for sure. He held out a hand to the boy slowly, tilting his head slightly forwards towards him.

Flagrare, as the boy had named himself, didn't even look up, only felt the presence inside his mind. And at first touch of the conciousness and ideals of another inside his own he reared back, "Why?" he spoke aloud though he still wasn't even aware of the other vampires presence, rahter he was voicing the thoughts of his mind without appearing to notice. In fact, he was still walking, dragging his feet behind him, not stopping as he spoke. "Why save this world from decay? It is the order of things to bend their lives back down to their lesser state after having raised their heads for too long. The necks of living things are frail and perfer to be bowed until they have the energy once more for attainment. So it shall be. This chaos will bring about a lowering of life, a decay of the arts and sciences. But from its ashes and the bodies of the innocent will rise a new world of greatness. Such are the cogs of time. Why need we interfere with what is the will of time? Let this world decay and await the flower that will spring from the fertilizer of blood." Flagrare spoke words that he understood, their was no reason, his mind was not involved which allowed his speech to transcend his experience. His mouth was on a direct link with his soul. He, and his memory vicariously, were always reticent when it came to the usage of their abilities, seeing all things as part of a great plan.

His entire frame spoke of this lethargy in all its movements, the way he dragged his Memory behind him like a burden, the way his eyes, though open, seemed to shut off the outside world and look only inward, the way his stance seemed too loose for easy movement and too weighted for action.

Akira looked up at the sky and watched the dancing swarm of fireflies that slowly danced around his Memory. He would quickly glance at it and then would doubt his skills as a warrior. He shoke his head and made his way throguth the short trail of tree. He let himself get soft and let his sebses be lowered to the piont in which he couldnt even hear the leaves that fell to the ground behind him as he walked.

Kirza Dael'rah leaned against the railing of the ships deck, his arms crossed on the railing's bar, his eyes straing straight out into the night's dark sky, alluminated by the faint glow of the fireflies. He growled lowly at them. The insects bothered him. They were said to hold some sort of great power in this land, to be the bearers of the power that helped life to flow...or something like that. He wasn't keen on the details, nor did he care too much.

He blew out a small ring of smoke from his mouth in disgust at the little insects, sending them flying away in a quick dash. He smiled somewhat darkly as the insects scattered away from him and his face. He skin felt tight, he hadn't shed his hide in a day or so, he would have to do so as soon as he returned to the ship.

He sighed and stretched lightly before jumping over the side railing, greenish, scaled, dragonic wings sprouting from the back of his black leisure outfit. He flapped them several times, allowing himself to hold himself up in the air. He flew at full speed toward Rinbenki, deciding to scout out whatever events might be taking place there.

It took him quite some time before reaching his destination. He touched down about two miles outside of the city, coveredby darkness and making sure that nobody saw him. He retracted his wings, his clothes looked as if there had never been any to begin with. He began to walk toward the city, reaching its edge in short time.

He looked around, the fireflies flying through the town, making him growl lowly to himself again. The city was ominously light by the fireflies light and it made him shiver slightly as the fireflies bothered him. He walked further into the town and inspected stores, taverns and the such. There was something about this place that bugged him, there was some sort of great energy source near to it. He looked up at the outskirts of the city, seeing a mountain's peek in the distance. He growled lowly again, his face scrunching up, as he felt the energy around that mountain.

"It's coming from there," he said to himself in his scratchy and somewhat deep voice, "I'm sure of it."

He stared at the mountain for another moment before turning and running back out the gate, sprouting his wings and flying high over the city towards the mountain.

Lavender eyes stared at the deep blue sea surrounding the Armada, watching large waves splash on the sides of the warship. Nothing seemed to happen. Eithne looked at the horizon that was Auroan and smirked. Never did she think she would come back to where she came from.

“Hmm…”

Eithne half-wished she was one of the few Lesternians sent to key locations in Auroan, to build strongholds and fortresses as ordered by Lord Culbrin. It never satisfied her to just wait and see what will happen next. Though she knew what these Lesternians were supposed to do, being the one to plan their actions, Eithne never liked waiting.

Bored as she was, Eithne couldn’t do anything but wait for Lord Culbrin’s word. She was nothing but a strategist within Lesternian’s ranks. A strategist in Lesterna and a traitor to Auroan. Eithne had to smile at that thought.

“Rinbenki…” she mouthed, remembering one incident she did that branded her as a traitor to her hometown. Her lavender eyes twinkled with excitement as memories of that day flooded her mind.

“Well, at least I’m not bored anymore…” she whispered, her thoughts still enveloped within fading memories.

Colm reached over the table towards the stronger drinks at the back. he grabbed a bottle of Klou Mous' strongest whisky, he had only ever had it once before and had been sick everywhere. he poured a small glass and downed it. Isacc looked on smiling. the enemy fighter was huge!
Colm placed the bottle down, he had a strange look in his eyes, "Oh well, at least there's more of him to hit." he chuckled dryly.
Isacc laughed loudly and patted him on the back, "Thats the spirit."
he started his walk towards the small upraised platform in the middle of the courtyard, every step suddenly feeling harder to make than the last. a couple of girls cheered as he walked past, they were probably just the daughters of dukes or captains from around Arceola. he waved sheepishly and stepped on to the platform.
Colm looked at his opponent. gulp. if he won, he'd go and ask one of the girls to the next royal dinner. if he came out of this without a hole in his chest he deserved a good time.
he slotted the mask on and held his rapier loosely. the mountain of a man simply forced the mask over his head and seemed to crush the small sword.
Colm gulped again, but was spirited on by the cheers from his father and Isacc.
he bowed and stood in the defencive position, waiting for the ogre to make the first strike...

With a sigh, the tall twilight vampire took the boy by the collar after approaching him and lifted his frame, giant pole-ax and all. As he walked off with the mindless one he scanned on around to find his next objective. Another chosen was nearby and so he went to look for him with the boy on his back, still dragging the giant weapon which was his Memory.

Ghalion could remember the man who wielded it before, the man was of demon clout and seemed unaffected by the Memory's obvious attributes. That man was a quiet one though and he never really did more then follow orders. Ghalion though had been the closest thing to a friend of his in the group, often hearing his rare voice of opinion.

But Ghalion needed to find the others and their chosen vessels, or partners for that matter. At his side Desolate Dragon started to rumble lightly as the air around him and the boy seemed to visually fuzz, he took the direction of the nearest source and took off with a powerful stride. The way he was heading lead to the main road, where Albert was walking. But he was carrying Falgrare and his massive weapon so he could only go so fast.

Albert walked along the road, cursing his luck at the lack of carriages, towards Burning Sky Mountain. "This has probably been the most uneventful month I've ever seen," Albert said in a bored trance, the rhythm of his feet being the only sound to reach his ears. Albert then stopped, struck by inspiration, "If I use my dragon blood I might be able to run faster, why didn't that occur to me before," he laughed as his eyes became slits. Albert took off in a run that challenged his father(Who was unbelievably quick) towards Burning Sky Mountain before making a sudden stop that left marks in the dirt, "I thought I saw something(who am I talking to?)," he said as he surveyed the area. The only thing Albert saw were two twilight vampires, one carrying the other, who held a poleaxe.

Albert jumped at the sight of the vampires and drew his broadsword(which he thought looked pretty weak to the poleaxe) and yelled, "Who are you." Albert knew he couldn't win, but his hope was that he could escape in case it got messy. Albert looked at the older vampire(or the one he thought was older), he seemed to give off an intense aura, coming mostly from the sword he had. Who are these people, Albert thought, his sword held firmly.

Namaki sighed, slightly watching a glow that painted the black canvas of the clouds. They were coming. Definitely coming. It was exciting. "Ah, yet another year..." she muttered. Her Ghost Oni powers were about to be activated, and she kicked a rock that disinigrated(sp?) into sand. The woman wanted to get to the mountain badly.

She began mapping out a short path to get to there; and she started walking it out already. The walk turned into a speedy pace. The pace began to become a slight jog. Suddenly she passed a dark alley that held a thick figure's outline. Slightly, Namaki paused. For a second, a glance into the darkness. But there was nothing, her mind assured her, nothing at all. "Getting crazy..." a slightly confused voice mumbled. She should stop talking to herself.

With a sigh, her arms were out to the sides of her body once more, and a speedily-paced walk re-ensued.

The Spear continued to push him foward urging him to continue at a fast pace. However, Shinon did not budge and set his own speed. He belived he could get to Rinbenki within a few hours of walk.

As he walked he felt a stronger force of power near him. He didnt know if it was just a coincidence or a watcher but he felt it to be no-threatning at the moment. Kirza flew at his top speed toward the mountain, feeling suspicious of the odd energies flowing from that direction. It only took him several minutes while flying high up, near the clouds. His dragonic lungs allowed him to filter and use the thin air just as easily as the thicker air near the ground.

It wasn't long before he felt a strong power on the ground, maybe 500 meters ahead of him and several miles from the base of the mountain. He quickly hurled himself downward toward the ground and began to slow himself about 50 meters before touching down. He landed softly, retracted his wings and crept forward to get a closer and better view of the energies source.

He crouched behind a rock, barely peeking his head around the side, looking at the group of three people. There was one being carrying another and a long polearm, and the third stood on the mainroad, holding a shabby longsword in both of his hands, seeming worried about something. He looked back at the group of two, not seeming to worried about the third, as the main energy seemed to come from one of them...

They both looked pale, seeming to be Vampires of some sort. The one carrying the other, however, seemed old, even older than himself. Kirza smiled at the thought, a being whos age was even greater than his own. He shook of the thought and continued to examine the older vampire, finding the energy source to obviously be coming from him.

He swallowed hard, trying to figure out what to do. An attack, even a surprise one would be foolish at this point and the vampire must know that he is near by, his own energy was not one to just look over. But even so, it was still overshadowed by this older vampire. The second vampire, on the first's back, was obviously no harm, seen as how it hadn't even twitched sence the time he had been spying. And the third being, even though smelling of pure dragon, wasn't nearly as much of a threat as the vampire.

He growled lowly but quietly.

"I wish attack," he whispered to himself, "But doing so would be suicide in this case...should i continue to follow them, or come back with an attack squadran? Maybe i shall stay and listen to them for a while.."

Kirza pricked up his ears, starting to listen in on any conversation they might be having.

There was almost a slight popping in Flagrare's mind as he was brought back to reality by being hoisted up by some other creature. He didn't really struggle much but after some yet different being started making a rucus he decided he had been carried long enough and easily wriggled out of the others grip. He looked at the other vampire, not being particularly bother or unnerved by him in any meaningful way, "Don't lay hands upon me." With that brief comment he return once more to his own thoughts, resting his polearm on the ground and staring off into space as he thought about what was happening. There was a lovely sense of decay about, it filled him with excitment, for he knew where there was decay there would soon be rebirth, and the sight of new life spring from dead matter filled him with joy. But, the excitement was stressing. Forcing his entire conciousness to bend out of shape with its energy.

It made him wonder what was happening to make this world seem so aching for death. Was some great corruption spreading across it like a pox? Dragging the worlds corpse toward some early grave? It seemed possible. How beautiful it was to see the cycles turn!

In the Distance down the road, Ulthar could see some kind of gathering. Three people visible, a hint of movement behind a nearby rock. He pulled that cloth over his mouth up a little higher and tried to garner even less attention. "I will walk down this road. I will get where I'm going." he thought, strengthening his resolve not to simply avoid contact, but to not draw it.

He wasn't worried about combat, after all, he was a Cliff-Sitter. The greatest of Lengon fighters. Chosen to sit from the cliffs and watch for outside intrusion. Chosen to end outside intrusion. Their powers of observation, endurance, and combat were proportional to their task. He'd learned of the war from overhearing Lesternian scouts too close to his homeland.

Still, though, he tried to give the gathering a wide berth. After all, it would be rude to simply walk through them.

After sliding to a small stop he looked to see Albert slowly approach, and from the side there was another presence. And behind him he felt yet another, and it seemed that there were three chosen out them all. He let his rare cryptic smile take over him as the boy's words slid past him. He drew his Desolate Dragon and raised it to the sky, the black metal shining out in an orange and yellow light, the light of the fireflies. He felt the power over gravity and sound swirl about his blade before he called to the people around him, even the robed one attempting to give distance. He had saw them on the crest earlier on and was sure of their identity.

He then stabbed the Dragon into the ground, bringing the crest of the firefly from the grass below in that same orange-yellow glow and he looked to them all, his galaxy blues scanning and taking them in. He then looked off to the other energy source and raised a hand towards the rock. With a small wave of power, a translucent purple fold of energy spread out and cleared. The area around the non chosen one was silent, nothing could reach him and nothing he said could be heard.

With that out of the way he looked to Albert and with his deep and serious voice he spoke "I am Ghalion, charged by the Lord of the Fireflies to seek and ascend the chosen seven destined to bring this land together as one in this time of war." He then pulled Desolate Dragon from the soil and gass before wiping the blade with a small cloth, his eyes went over to the far off one as he called "Lengon Warrior... be not worried about the way you look, you are among those connected by fate now." Taking his hand he would point out towards the Vampire boy.

"In case you are wondering, he holds the Memory of rebirth.. I would think you two know of the legends of the Seven Memorys." He then held out his bastard sword, the leather handle with the gnarled cross coming out from the guard seemed dark and sturdy in the light of the moon and the fireflies.

He then looked to Albert and walked towards him slowly, his almost seven foot tall form taking large powerful steps as the strynium armor rattled some, his silver hair flowing back now.

"Me and this boy are of the Twilight, and you are of dragon blood correct?" He looked to the rock where the intruder had been hiding, knowing he couldn't listen in by the power of Desolate Dragon. He then turned back to Albert and looked to Ulthar for his reaction.

Colm felt a twitch in his mind. what a wierd feeling... he relaxed to see if it would happen again. then the real world speedily raced back into focus and the mountain of a man, brandishing his rapier like a madman seemed a lot closer than he had been a moment before. Colm snapped his feet together and in a most unorthodox way, fell to the floor. he landed and rolled quickly. he jumped up to cheers from the crowd, they thought he had moved slowly to please them. another twitch, Colm searched for a better word, but the small pain in his head could really only be described as a twitch. he felt like he was missing something, something away from here.
Isacc screamed at him to move, but something strange was happening, the man moving towards him had a arrow through his neck?
Colm shook his head but the image didn't disappear. he span around and saw men burst into the courtyard. they were dressed in full black, perfectly undifieable as any race or culture. he ran full pelt towards the entrance to the hall between him and his room.
he managed to push through in all of the surrounding chaos. running straight towards the staircase he heard a shout behind him. he span around and saw the king and Isacc running towards him.
"Get to the safe room." he shouted.
his father seemed to look paler than usual.
"we can't go without you." said Isacc, helping his father stand up straight.

Markus Gyphlon was a sharp man and something in his weary brain seemed to click. he looked at Colm and saw his eagerness to just turn and run up the stairs.
"its that weapon, isn't it?"
Colm stiffened. he looked at his father and realised that he was speaking the truth. he nodded slowly.
"well then," said the king, "go with him Isacc. he may need you."
the king pushed away from his son with tears in his eyes. he looked again at Colm, his son, the boy he had raised was going to end this war. he could feel it. he hid his tear streaked face as he hobbled towards the throne and his safe-room.
Colm couldn't cry, he could feel true, raw sorrow in his heart but he couldn't understand why. he nodded at Isacc then ran up the stairs. finding his door open he ran in and threw open the wardrobe doors. a slave girl fell out shaking. she had obviously been hiding, very quickly. he reached in and instantly felt calm as his hand slid around the memory. he pulled it out and marveled at its beauty, the wolf jaws on either side, the inch long claws all down the ash wood leaving a perfect amount of wood free in the middle to grip and swing with.
he ran down the stairs missing a few in his eagerness to be out in the open. he found Isacc at the bottom with his palm facing 3 oncoming men. they seemed to be running as if in deep water or mud. Isacc turned around slightly, "my firefly magic isn't strong, the flies aren't near enough."
Colm nodded and grabbed his brothers arm. swinging him around he ran towards the closest window and jumped into it. the last thing he could remember were Isacc's screams...

Kirza growled lowly to himself again.

"Dang...I know they speak, but yet i can't here a word of it. What is going on?" He said to himself, nearly silently.

The old vampire had looked back at him, several times in fact, and had made him worried. Any move would be noticed, but staying put could mean a direct attack from them. He growled again to himself, trying to think.

He smiled lightly, drawing in his breathe. He couldn't hear them, but it was obvious that they could at least see him. Taking in as much air as he could, he looked straight up and starting blowing out thick black smoke. He also leaned out to the left of the rock and to the right, repeating the sequence.

He smiled slightly at his handy work, a nice thick smoke screen. He ran out from behind the rock, making sure not to run so fast as to disapate the smoke, but trying to keep his noise level down as well. He ran behind another building, just reaching it before the smokescreen lifted. This rock was bigger and hid himself better, however, he knew that the vampire must of still known of his where abouts.

He peeked around the corner slightly, making sure not to be seen and noticed that he was now closer to the group than before. He went back behind full cover, and leaned against the boulder, taking in a deep breathe and letting it out.

"Maybe," he said quietly, "That wasn't the best idea after all..."

Colm struggled under a layer of heavy wool blankets. he heard a loud shush... and quickly stopped moving. he felt around and grabbed ahold of his memory.
it seemed to take hours before the covers were lifted. he sat up panting, it was now midday and the sun was at full strength high in the sky. he sat up taking gulps of air and he didn't even care where he was. he was handed a small metal tin filled with water, he drank deeply and handed it back.
"i see he hasn't lost his big appite."
Colm smiled as he regonised the voice, it was Isacc. he looked around and saw a few more people aswell. he was sat on top of a wagon being pulled by a small stable horse, there was about ten more people walking along side. a girl at the front pulled the horse to the side of the track and let it rest under the shade of a tree.
Colm looked at Isacc, "care to explain?"
Isacc took a sip of water and sat next to him on the wagon, "we were saved." he paused, "but i don't know how father is..."
Colm stared at the grass feeling real sorrow for his adopted father, he was glad of the time he had spent with him.
Isacc carried on, "when we jumped from the window we fell quite a way down." he chuckled, "we landed on the back of a wagon filled with hay; very lucky. we were then seen by a few of the peasants who decided to hide us. then that girl turned up." he pointed to the girl that had led the horse. "she had the idea to hide us in the wagon and get out of the city."

Colm looked over and saw the girl that had been hiding in the wardrobe at the castle. he puzzled over this while Isacc started again, "she got us out of the city because of some information her master has. it seems that her master is a reader of the arcane arts, tarot cards and such. she has seen into the near future and see's that the world needs you if the light is still to be the most prominent of the powers. also she saw the need to get you out of the city."
Colm pondered over this, he had been saved and he had the memory. what was he to do next?
"where are we headed?" he asked.
Isacc took another sip of water, "to the base of a mountain near Rebenki. there is a little town there that belongs to Arceola, it has a small castle there that these peasants what to use as a base."
Colm cocked his head to the side, "a base for what?"
Isacc seemed like he didn't want to say, "well the tarot woman, she says she can see the need for a small gathering spot, so that...well errm, you can meet with someone..."
Colm was confused, "what does that mean?"
"it means, well she thinks that your... one of the seven hero's of old..."

Colm was taken back, him a legendary hero? no way, he was just a forest brat with a bit of class, not worthy of the status of the heros. even he knew of their powers, it was one of the things he had been taught while being brought up. the legend of the seven heros. could it be? could this seer be a true arcane reader? he needed to think...

Flare snorted in a way that could be considert a laugh 'a demon? hardly' she wondert slightly if the guy knew that he could have been attacked by the villiagers by moving at that speed. She scraped her hoof and made a climb on motion with her head with her he could safely travel fast. she twitched her ears a bit looking towards the mountain, a strange feeling had settled in her stomach and she did not like it. The same feeling happend before and that became the cause she was in forest she lives in now. she snorted deciding to ignore it for now and looked back at shinon and made another climb on motion with her head.

The dragon didn't seem to respond, and it was midday that fast? Had that scene really drive on until that late in the day without him noticing? Ghalion thought perhaps he was getting old, and he was losing his senses. But he shook it off as he looked around, the cloud of smoke had gone away and now he was trying to communicate with the chosen.

"Well we best be getting off to a town.. perhaps it'll be even clearer over something to drink." His deep voice came out into the day light.

He pulled the Vampire boy by the collar and brought him along, motioning for the rest to come with him. He took to the road on the way to a small village of Rinbenki called Koha. With the sun rising high in the sky he took in a breath, a breath to seal the start of his fate.

Muramasa ran toward the smell of a wolf and wondered way he felt a strange arua pulsing from its body? He knew that it had to be a cross between a wolf and a human because the wolf moved to swiftly to be just a normal wolf or a normal human. Muramasa continued to ran past tree after tree as the sun slowly rose the the fireflies numbers slowly decreased. He ran toward Rinbenki, and the small village of Koha where he could rest and think about his next move. he felt that wolf was headed in that direction and that two other's with the same power as he did were close to the village.

Albert didn't respond to the vampire. Instead he thought over the words he listened to, Chosen, me...maybe I'm dreaming, Al chuckled silently at the idea of passing out on the side of the road. As the vampire left, Albert sheathed his sword and followed suit. "Hey, Ghalion, are you the vampire who lived in Burning Sky Mountain?" Albert asked. Albert then looked to his other "friends". The other vamp, who looked 14 seemed almost mindless, in a sense,as he was dragged by Ghalion. The other, a lengon, was covered so Al couldn't see anything but his eyes, The last time I saw a lengon was 10 years ago while I studied in Rinbenki, he wasn't bad company despite the look, Al thought as he got ready for the start of one more war.

OOC: soz for the short post, Colm will be back soon...

Markus Gyphlon looked around him as the maids hurried about wiping the blood from the walls. he walked out into the courtyard and studdied the carnage there, the cloth on the floor ripped, the tables shattered and everything smeared in blood.
he carried on walking out into the open streets out of the castle boundaires. the sun was shining and overall it was a beautiful day. if only the attack of the night went away.
he walked back inside and picked up Colm's rapier and mask. he just hoped he could give them back to him one day, and welcome home both of his sons...

Shinon looked at the horse in humor and curosity. He felt what he said to her insulted her, though he found it funny that he insulted a horse. Giving a small chuckle he looked up at the days sun and looked toward Rinbenki. He was only a hours walk away from the town yet the horse wanted to help. He was slightly thankful yet clearly confused as to why a horse would want to help him. Looking over to the horse again he said, "Why do you want to help me?"

Flagrare was dragged along for a bit before he forced himself out of the other's grip and began walking on his own accord. He didn't really have any idea where he was going but then he didn't really have any idea where he had gone. So any direction was as good a direction as any. He was still somewhat hestitant about this whole business with the chosen and what not but as far as he was concerned it would all pass quickly enough and if it became to troublesome or too against his nature he could always leave. Feeling sufficiently satisfied with his arrangements he stared off into space in his usual way and began to wonder...

OOC: Here's Adnarim's color
Adnarim didn't seem to pay attention to her then said "She's coming" It was a light careless comment referring to Inuvin. Who was close. "Goodbye" then Adnarim took off.

A few minutes later she landed on Inuvin's shoulder. "Well" Inuvin said casually noting that the road to Rinbenki was not as empty as when she'd started.
"Rinbenki livley" Adnarim reported then preened her pristine white feathers. Inuvin nodded as if expecting that. "I suppose that's good" Adnarim looked up her black eyes twinkling.
"Not all...met girl"
Inuvin had already tuned out her bird. Rinbenki was closer and that ate up her attention. Being of the Tribe* she had really seen buildings that couldn't be moved. It fascinated her and also made her think of the Elder's parting words. "You've been chosen, Inuvin, carry this task with pride and do not remain in one of the Fixed Villages** for too long...you'll begin to long for open air sooner or later"
Adnarim had finished up her report. Not that Inuvin took too much notice.

Inuvin kept herself from staring when she arrived in Rinbenki. It would cause unwanted attention to be turned her way. Inuvin was not willing to risk that.

Ghalion felt the young one wiggle out of his grip and walk along, his galaxy blue eyes took on the road ahead, letting the trail of dirt and grass become his guide. There was little change in two thousand years, this place was still rather the same as before. Though there was a smaller bit of change here, the scent of blood came about slowly in the air as the group approached a fork in the road and a little surprise at the crossing.

"Well well, what be this?" He said flatly to himself as they approached a small troop of Lestern soldiers, all heading towards the direction of Koha. It would have seemed that they were attempting to take fort in the village, but anyone on Auroan knew that the people of Rinbenki all knew how to fight and defend themselves, so of course this brigade was equipped with netting gear and longbow archers to attack from afar.

About ten of them there were, four swordsmen and four archers each with netting at their belts in their half leather half plated armor. They all wore masks of dark brown leather which came down and crossed at the nose then under the chin. Maybe a task force? And from behind the two rather large marker stones came rather large beings, ogre like in size. They stood at least a foot taller then Ghalion and they both were armed with battle axes and large shields. Quite the ferocious looking fighters with teeth reaching out from their mouths as they seemed to drool with an air of stupidity, strong they were but smart was not their forte.

Ghalion held out a hand to the rest to bring them to a stop before silently drawing out his Dragon, the black steel shining lighty in the light of the midday sun, he tool hold of it in his right hand, reaching it perpendicular from his body out to the side, edge forwards.

Under his breath he would talk, but the vibrations came up from under guided by the power of Desolate into the ears of the rest of the group "We attack when they pass the third stone not a few minutes from their position... be ready."

Flagrare didn't look over, he stared straight ahead his eyes drooping and bored. His mouth moved, though he spoke to no one in particular. "What happens when they pass the third stone? Is this some sort of tradition? Who are these people anyway?" This whole process was beginning to rather bizarre and... unnecessary. But all the same he dragged his poleaxe up to so that the blade rested at his feet and he leaned gently on the shaft. The eye in the center of the axe blade was now at full openness, reaching its zenieth before the slow decay toward sleep. For now Flagrare watched, like a man watching strange monkey games.

Muramasa slowly came to a stop once he felt the wolf slow down to walking pace. He then noticed the attack force that was heading toward their location. He quickly turned his head toward that direction and then back at the wolf who should have been in seeing range by now. His eyes widened and his mouth dropped open as he looked toward the wolf's last location. The wwolf was gone and he couldnt feel nor hear where it went. He let out a gasp when he felt the power of the wolfs sword by his neck and the water that he held his hands to the ground.

Akira smiled as his water continued to hold the demon's hands to the ground and the fresh water that slowly rose from the ground and make the shape of a spear. he was using to mush energy and the attack force and the other three or four people that were close by would easliy noticed the spike in energy he was giving off. He quickly let the water fall from the demons body and let the spear return to water and vanish with the heat of the sun. He whispered into the demon's ear. "Who are you,and why are you following me?" He then looked over to the direction of the attack force and measured the distance he was away from them. He measured it to be about 100 yards away and he could get their in about 5 seconds without being noticed. He smiled and waited on the demons answer.

Colm steered the horse into the barn, they had been going down the road for only about 30 minutes but the little band of travelers had already ran into trouble. it looked like someone was devinatly following them but a trader coming from the other direction had told them of news about a troop of Lestern troops hidden in a forest near here.
Isacc had the idea to pay the next person they saw so that they could hide in their house. about five minutes up the road they came to a small farm at the side of the main road.
the girl that had been hiding in the cupboard walked in and managed to get the farmer to let them hide in the barn for the night. it turned out that the girl was called Neimi, she proved to be the most sociable out of the group and made quick friends with Isacc.
she had been working at the castle since she was born but she had always dreamed about learning the absolute most she could about firefly magic and publish a book. she could do simple spells and could even fuse magic with items (after Isacc had shown her how).
Colm stopped daydreaming and pulled the horse as far in as possible. he was about to go and join the others in the house when he heard a ear splitting scream. he span around to go and help but was hit in the side of the head!
he fell and rolled as far away from his attacker as he could. he jumped up as his attacker rushed at him, but this time he was ready. he waited until the last moment then kicked hard at the floor, dust, sand and chicken droppings flew at the attackers head momentarily blinding him.
Colm wasted no time and did a vicious spin kick aimed at the mans head; it connected sweetly and the man fell to the floor straight into a pile of horse manure.
Colm darted out of the barn and instantly saw fighting. Neimi was out cold sprawled across a dead attacker. all of the attackers wore hoods? Colm didn't have long to ponder over this as he saw Isacc being pushed backwards towards the house wall, his magically summoned blade hardly strong enough to take the hard blows the attacker was giving.
Colm's wolf instinct's kicked in as he ran at the man, he jumped half of the space between him and the attacker and lander on the mans back, sending him flying towards Isacc, who cleverly stepped to the side as the mans head connected loudly with the wall.
A hooded attacker flew out of the top story window and landed in a heap near a dazed chicken.
"Are you ok." Colm asked Isacc.
"Fine, do you know who those men were?"
Colm shook his head as two men burst out of the house. it was two of the men from the group, Colm couldn't remember clearly but he thought they were called Tom and Mack.
Tom ran straight towards Neimi as Mack made his way towards Colm and Isacc.
"Did any of them survive? i'd like to know who they were." he asked.
Isacc reached down and felt the attackers neck nearest to him. "none out here. where is everybody?" he asked.
Colm had figured it out already, he just needed confirmation. he walked into the barn and dragged out the first attacker. he sat him up against the wall as Tom brought over a slightly shook up Neimi and some water. Colm pulled the hood from the attacker and stood back. the face was greeted by gasps from most of the group. "Karl...?" said Neimi.
Colm threw the water on him and waited, the man splutted and made to get up, however both Isacc and Neimi held him in place with their magic.
Colm got straight to the point, "So who wasn't an assassin?"
the man called Karl looked around and simply said, " only you lot and Louise wasn't traitors."
Tom kicked him in the stomach, "You killed Louise!!!"
Mack held him back as Colm started to question him.

it turned out he was lesternian and so was most of the others. the attack at court was also by lesternian spies. when the two royals sons had escaped they managed to pay off an old lady to convince them to take the princes out of town. they couldn't have killed them earlier as both Neimi and the others were on watch. but the surprise attack at the farm had almost worked.
Colm punched him hard in the face, knocking him out. he couldn't be bothered with him. it only took five minutes to find Louises body in the kitchen of the little house next to the body of the farmer and his wife. Colm, Isacc and Tom carried all three of the bodies outside and set about making small shallow graves.
when they had done that, Neimi came out of the house with a little girl, she was the farmers daughter.
"Where to now." asked Mack.
Colm took a while to answer, "i believe what the old woman said, i am a hero of old. it just seems right."
he tried to find the words to describe it, but failed, it just seemed to him as if he was lucky enough to be brought into society so as to learn the skills for something. and now he thought he knew what that something was.
"So i say we still make for the castle at Koha. it just feels right."
he went to the wagon and uncoupled the horse, it would still be useful to take with them. he picked up the memory and headed back outside.

six people walked down the path out onto the road, each one deep in the seemingly endless darkness of sorrow...

Ghalionhad turned his head towards the boy with a serios look, apparently he was more blank then he thought. Well duh... he was effected fully by the rebirth's power. Ghalion hissed back as the soldiers heard the boys speach and they came in their direction to see Ghalion brandishing his sword.

Ghalion shook his head as the Archers pulled back their bows and readied to fire, the swordsmen drawing their blades with the ogres behind them in a full on charge. And Archer let loose an arrow towards Flagrare and duringthat time the others let loose as well through the fighters.

Ghalion charged as well, clashing with the two Ogres with there battle axes, he brought his Dragon up and around in a swirl to parry the blows before ramming into them both. This proved to only make then step back a few. As they snarled they brought their weapons up again and Ghalion jumped back throwing out a hand seemingly guided by his center focus. From his hand rushed out a wave of darkened air like energy and the gravity around the ogres started to increase second after second, he gripped them both with the power and lifted them by the motion of his clenching fist before he was struck at the shoulder with a stray arrow.

Grunting lightly he dropped the ogres from his force grip and drew back his right side as his arm went limp. It was daylight and he hadn't his vampiric strength, only his power to heal and other Magical feats.

Kirza, leaned out, glad that his movement technique didnt grab too much attention and more or less, just confused the group. He watched them walk a short distance away before starting to follow them, as quietly as he could, without losing any distance and without being seen.

They were off in the direction toward a small village called Koha just outside of Rinbenki. It wasn't long before the group stopped, looking onward to a group of soldiers

Kirza squinted, his heightened dragonic senses allowing him to see the soldiers fairly well, even from his distance. They were Lesternian, and a task force at that. As a matter of fact, the one he had deployed to capture Koha. He growled lowly in anger.

"Why haven't they captured Koha yet? This is ridicculous." He whispered to himself.

He looked up again to see the elder vampire charge and begin to strike. Kirza growled lowly again, reaching into his shirt and pulling out a dagger, the blade of which was crimson red with a black dragonic emblem on the bottom of the blade, by the hilt. After staring at the blade for a moment, holding it so that the blade came from the bottom of his hand, he dashed around the corner of the rock, charging at the group from behind.

it was Colm's turn to carry the little girl. She hadn't spoken a word, but she was exhausted from her ordeal. Mack had carried her for a short while then Colm took over.
it was the second time Colm's life had took such a humongous turn. firstly he had been plucked out of the forest into a mad world of wealth and pampering. then now he had been guided by fate to see the deaths of many people just so he could get to a stupid meeting place.
out of the six of them only Isacc and Colm weren't seriously effected by the betrayal. Both Tom and Mack were being sullen and quiet. while the little girl just slept in Colm's arms.
Colm was most worried about Neimi. she had noticed the person that had been following them and became eratic.
"We should hide in the small creek up ahead." said Isacc, while looking over a ridge into the small valley below. "we don't want to be seen by them." he pointed at a small band of people away past the valley on the road. Colm could just make out a flag; Lesternian.
Neimi grabbed Isacc and span him around, "we can't stop, we just can't!"
Colm calmly said, "is it because of the follower?"
Neimi froze and started to cry. "she'll kill me, i don't know why but she's after me!" she broke down on the floor.
"Who?" asked Tom.
Neimi looked up tears streaming down her cheeks, "she knows their still alive." she nodded towards the two princes.
"Damn, then we must be hurrieing." said Tom.
Mack looked worried, "but i thought we tricked her?"
Neimi looked at Colm, "its the seer. she wanted you two dead so she sent us to take you out of the city to do it quietly. however we tricked her and made our escape. we knew she would send someone after us but it turned out that our own comrades were traitors."
Colm sighed, it all made sense. that was why they were attacked by their own men. "but why did they attack you?" he asked.
Tom said, "because we were from another group, they were just men and women that the seer had gathered to help us set up the resistance in Koha. when they figured out that we had no intention of killing you they attacked us."
"why hasn't she attacked before now?" asked Isacc.
this time it was Neimi that answered, "because the things that have been following us have just been spirits that she has used to keep track of us. but that last one was almost fully solid, she must be close."

they heard a cackle behind them, "Oh yes my dear, very close..."

Flagrare sighed, and only started paying attention when he noticed one of the task force members rushing him. As soon as he came within six feet of Flagrare, the boy swung his massive poleaxe in a blurred arc. The Lesterian or whatever he was called seperated at the waste, both halves almost instantly decaying into loose bits of organic matter some of which got on his pants. The Phoenix was the creature of rebirth and thus did all it could to accelerate that process and the decay of those it slew sped the rebirth and growth of the plants beneath.

Flagrare then turned towards someone who was charging them from behind. He was still a ways off and while he waited, leaning against his poleaxe, he began to thing about why this man was fighting. Was there something like loyalty? Or money? Or spiritual desire? or perhaps bloodlust? By the way he was rushing that seemed like a possibility. Eventually Flagrare got so caught up in his thoughts he stopped paying attention to the enemy entirely.

Akira let loose his wolf characterices and flash into the battle. He drew his ice dragon and conected blades with two of the soilders. he pushed them back and used his free hand to flip sideways, dodging the arrows that flashed by his head. His feet barly touched the ground before he was off again. Akira uses the air to increse the resistence around the achers and their arrows. He cut down the arrows that had passed his grip and jumped back a few feet as one of the gaint ogres slashed its axe into the ground before him.

The force of its power sent Akira sliding back a few feet. He growled at the bottom of his throat as the fangs of a wolf slowly lowered themselves from his kanine teeth. His eyes slowly turned blue as a touch of snow fell upon the ogres axe. he growled and more snow began to fall and the sun was blocked making the area around them almost as dark as night. He could see easliy and with his nose he smelled the orges and the archers whofires blindly intom the sky around his location.

He seemed to stay in one spot as the arrow past throught his body and sank into the snow that had covered the ground. Akira gripped his sword and pionted into the sky. Snow began to cover his body and his memory slowly began to send out a chiming noise that could only be heard by those who had a memory.

******************

Muramasa had all ready entered the battle and was fighting two of the soilders and Akira continued to fight the others. He toke a quickly glance at the others that had been fighitng and noticed someone coming from behind trying to take one of them out quickly. He used his demon speed to move a few yard ahead of the man and drew his weapon. He felt the cold snow that touched his skin and roared at the man trying to make him stop and fight him. he growled at himself and from the tempetture of the ice and the shivering of his body he would have to retreat if he got one serious wound.

Muramasa understood that his body could take the coldness and still fight at its best for a short time, but with the ice that fell around them all even his demon side would have trouble fight in this weather.

Ueki seemed to fade back into the world as his body slowly came walking toward the huge ball of clouds that covered his troops and maybe an allie. He grinned and drew his sword. he held the sowrd out and pointed the sword blade toward nothing but the ground. He grinned and stabbed the sword into the ground and left it there. he then held out the bow that was also on his back. He held it up and slowly two string appeared on it. he pulled back the strings and particles slowly formed where the arrows were supposed to be.

the arrows gave off a strange whistleing sound as Ueki let them go. They crashed into the cloud and created a small hole with each impact. Ueki again drew back the two strings and fired off another round. Four shots hit the same spot making a larger hole in it. Ueki once again pulled back it bow and let another string appear. The pulled back all three string and listened to the sound of the arrows. He released them and watched as a huge hole spread from the impact. Ueki quickly rushed inside of it and put his bow back where it was. he held his hand2 out toward the hole as it closed and watched and petals swirled around the sword and brought it to his hands. He held the sword infront of his face and then thrned its blade toward the battle. He smiled and watched.

In a split second, he was gone...

He placed his spear back and continued to walk thinking, 'She wasnt afraid of of my spear but not many people should it doesnt look that threating. But I felt she had a power that gave the slight cockyness, might be a problem.' He looked back at Flare and said, "No offence I do like the kindness, but why do you help me. I do have skills to protect myself." Shinon said trying to not be rude.

She walked up beside him "you were talking to a mare that you knew was not normal but you did not even draw your weapon" she looked at him from the corner of her eye. And then before her again "if it was my great, great, great leave or take a great grandma you had met you would be drowned and eaten by now" she crossed her arms as they came near the alleys end "even i know that aproaching people just like that is not smart"she stopped near the end of alley "you should buy reins by the way not everyone here wil accept me as you horse if i would walk lose" She transformed back in her horseform and scraped her hoof.

"Look Flare, I pick the saddle and its going to be cheap. I don't have that much money." He said walking off before she had a chance to respond. He continued to look until he found a shop that sold things for horses and saddles. He walked into the shop and went up to the clerk saying, "Get a saddle and a cheap one."

Colm could only stare. it seemed to him as if the woman in front of him was floating?!? she was very small and was sat on a small blood-red cushion. her face was old and wrinked but her eyes were alive and young. as Colm looked he swore he could see the eyes changing, first sea blue then firey red.
Tom swung himself round and ran down the road. Colm watched his every step until he got to the bottom when he glanced back and screamed.
Colm looked back at the old woman but she had dissappeared?!?
Isacc and Neimi were the first to react both summoning small weapons and sheilds, while quickly trying in vain the find the woman.
"Take the little girl and run!" shouted Isacc to Mack.
Mack scooped up the girl and ran back the way they had came, maybe he was making for the old house?
Colm watched all of this without moving, it was almost as if he couldn't...
Tom screamed again as a crimson splash spattered across the dusty road, covered a few seconds later by a lifeless body.
Neimi screamed and lost concentration, her weapons disintergrated in her hands as she almost slid down the path towards Tom's corpse.
The old woman was nowhere to be seen, but Colm could sense her... he had started to regain feeling, along with normal thoughts. had the woman done something to him?
Isacc was now in battle with a silohette of a bear. it was pitch black and stood at least as twice as tall as Colm.
As he watched he noticed a small black thread falling from the back of the bears head. it wounded up into the open sky. Colm followed it with his eyes and saw the woman, her eyes closed, fully concentrated on the spirit.
Colm twitched his leg, then his arm. soon he'd be able to move. but soon wasn't good enough, Isacc had took some small wounds as he constantly had to keep making new weapons, now a spear then a new shield, followed by a small mace. none of them getting past the bears formidible claws.
Colm tightened his grip on his memory. something stirred in the bottom of his mind, everything became clearer, sharper. thoughts rushed through his head, every one somehow making a plan or checking for the enemies weakness. it was like the feeling he used to get when hunting with the wolfs.
He wouldn't waste time on the bear, he'd attack the pack leader, then the others would scarper anyway.

Now the hunter in him had awakened...

"Memories..." Namaki put her finger to her lip. Of course she knew what they were; who didn't? However, she left the rude statement she would've said in her head and replied, "Yeah, I know what they are. Only seven people in the world have them, right?" As for the other question left... though she did want to be slightly polite to someone that she barely knew, Namaki hated working with others. She sighed.

"Sure," her white hair somehow stayed in place while she was nodding her head. "I'll help you." she bowed her head.

'Weird... I have no idea what I'm doing. Might as well go with what's going on...'

At this point, the Ghost Oni hadn't the slightest clue of what she just did. But she did want ot get to the mountain. This little setback almost made her forget; almost.

She had been here a few times and had seen that the reins that were turned down or disliked here were thrown away 'some people waste to much' she thought. she pulled a few to expensieve looking reins away until she came upon a simpler one. She grabbed it and trotted back to the shop shinnon was waiting for a saddle. Laying it near the door she waited until the clerk was gone and moved inside the shop and grabbed shinnon by the back of his robes and dragged him outside. she picked up the reins and presssed them in his chest giving him a annoyed look.

Albert watched as everything unfolded, quietly awaiting a chance to strike the enemy down. Albert saw the man charge at them from behind and saw the second twilight vamp with the poleaxe lose himself in thought. Albert let loose a fireball in the attackers direction as he gripped "Flagrare's" shoulder(he got the name by reading the shirt). Al then dashed quietly as he made his way to the archers' blind spot. Albert's eyes suddenly became more draconic and his teeth became sharper as his dragon blood flowed through his veins.

Albert then let loose a roar as he released an inferno at the archers, the tendrils of flame reaching along the archers like claws. Albert soon disappeared quickly into the foliage as he watched the battle. A few seconds later, Albert saw that only one archer had died in the inferno(although some lost their bows). Albert silently cursed his luck as he saw the living archers. Albert moved silently as he got ready for another attack, thinking up a strategy that might work.

Ghalion watched as another chosen came, and he swung back his Dragon as another arrow snapped through the inferno of his draconic ally, the arrow was on fire heading right for him in a blazing spiral. The arrow hit him in the chest, right beside the heart. But it would take a closer shot to his heart to phase him enough for a cease in battle. He ripped his Dragon downwards towards the Remaining archers, sending a large blast of kinetic energy through the vibrations of the air towards them and their charred bows.

They were caught within the attack with a powerful impact, sending the front of their bodies into a numbing sensation as they spun in the air backwards before sliding into the ground.

Ghalion took in a deep breath before dashing beside the nearest stone where he brought his dragon into the ground beside him and his hand at his chest. He closed his eyes and let his breath in and out slowly, surely, with a full bit of focus. From his hand the light of life came and he pulled out the arrow as the golden strands of energy replaced the wound's losses. He then moved to his shoulder before another attack from an ogre who blatantly decided that Ghalion was to be his next foe (Random ogre thought).

Ghalion stepped to a side as the large Battle ax clipped into the stone of the boulder, driving its edge deeper into the mineral formation. Ghalion took this chance to pull out the other arrow and send a leather fist towards the ogres face, though only stunning it lightly enough for him to sway around it's body to Grab Desolate Dragon from the ground. With a mighty swing he beheaded the beast and turned towards the new enemies, noticing the one he sensed before and another one shooting of arrows.

His breath drew strong, and his eyes leered towards Kirza and Ueki, and in a feat of Memory's power he threw down a hand setting all the vibrations of the air still in the area. The sounds were all squelched, those unknowing of the power and feeling of utter silence would become confused, for their ears were basically cut off from their source of stimuli. He dashed around the large stone and came up behind Kirza, placing the tip of Desolate Dragon upon his shoulder near his neck, which wouldn't even be heard by the most brilliant of senses because of the still air. He opened a small pocket in his power before deeply speaking to Kirza.

"Leave now, and tell your Lord that his time here is done.

Colm dived. the woman still didn't move as he brought Predators Past behind him, ready for a fatal swing. he was now high in the air, the wolfs powers adding to his, his sight became super-clear, he could see every wrinkle on the old womans face as it slowly smiled...
Colm swung at the woman to find a black bear in her place. the memory easily sliced through the blackness; then he started to fall.
he turned hiself in midair landing perfectly on his feet, swirling around to face woman. Isacc lay on the floor slowly turning blue. Colm rushed at the woman and swung again, but he missed?
his wolfness was confused while the human side of him mantained a sense of something near.
he felt the shaft of light rather than saw it as he threw himself at the ground, it scratched his shoulder, but it was nothing serious. he jumped up and pointed at the woman.
she seemed to freeze with shock and floated down onto the floor, it was like a prey that had been seen by the largest predator it had even seen. she cowered and whimpered as he took a step towards her but his concentration was broken as Neimi rushed past holding a shining dagger.
Colm was powerless to stop her, but did he even want to? the answer was no, this woman was something evil, he watched as Neimi sunk the blade into the womans chest then backed away.
without an enemy Colm turned back to normal. Neimi ran at him crying, he dumbly held her, what had he done, he glanced at the memory. he really was a hero of old...

Neimi bandaged Isacc while Colm covered Tom's shallow grave with rocks. Mack and the little girl had arrived earlier only for Mack to say he was leaving.
"I cant take any more death, i'm going home."
Colm watched as he went back up the hill, past the body of the woman.
there was now four of them, one a little defenceless girl, another barely able to walk. the little girl walked infront as Neimi and Colm held Isacc between them.
This hero business was aload of crap, he had barely been able to save anyone. he prayed to fate to grant him luck, he didn't want to see anymore death, even during a war...

Akira landed on the orges shoulder's with one foot on the right and one on the left shoulder. He lifted his memory into the air and his mystical arua sspread into his body. He turn stabbed his Dragon Tide into the orges stomach, freezing the ice and killing the orge. But you're older than I am so I'll let you choose" Inuvin guessed that Namaki was much older than she looked. Compared to her Inuvin was probably no older than a baby. But within the Tribe everyone's opinnion mattered even if they were only six or so. Though everyone held a great respect for the Elder after all he was approaching one hundred and twenty two.

"Adnarim," Inuvin turned her attention to the white bird "please do a short scout. I don't want any unwelcome visitors. If you see anything find me"
Adnarim puffed herself up like she was very important then took off in a lazy spiral from her place on Inuvin's shoulder. She dipped in the breezes checking out the town.

In other words the no one was on an immediate path towards them in the town. Inuvin nodded and returned her attention to Namaki.

Kirza continued to dash toward the group, keeping a specific eye on the older of the two twilight vampires. He seemed powerful, almost too powerful. Honestly, the vampire was the only one he was really worried about.

His leisure clothes dragged his speed down as he ran toward the group, he felt sluggish, but that didn't matter much to him. He had noticed that one of his officers had arrived, Ueki, and another, Fu, was on the way. He smiled lightly with a low growl.

'Took them long enough,' he thought.

It wasn't long, however, before the sound of his feet thumping against the ground vanished. He came to a stop, planting his left foot in front of him and taking a few steps to slow down. He put his elft hand up to his ear, trying to figure out what had happened. It was at that moment that the cold tip of a blade pressed lightly against his back, making his stand straight, and the voice of seemed to be a vampire entered his mind. He smirked quietly at the words, leave? He wasn't about ready to do anything like that, either was his commander.

He quickly swung around, the knife in his right hand coming up and over the top of the blade in his foes, and stabbed the enemies blade downwards, causing it to be pointed at the ground. He smiled, seeing the elder vampire standing before him.

"I dont know if you can hear me, cause i certainly cant hear a thing," he started, "But even though i may dispise my commander, we are not about to get up and leave. We have become to powerful, come too far, for that to happen."

He raised his knife and stood with his right foot back, entering a fighting position.

"How about you and your little ragtag unit leave my men to do their work?"

Kirza stood, smiling at the vampire, his fangs showing in his toothy grin, his blood-red eyes seeming to be almost black.

The little girl turned out to be named Alice. Colm was the only one she would talk to. this surprise him more than anyone else, it was normally Isacc who the children liked, he was the friendlier one.
they had only been moving about five minutes but the little girl wouldn't say a word to Neimi or Isacc, however when Colm asked her name she timidly told him.
Isacc felt differently about the way Alice treated Colm than Colm did. he had already felt the strange aura coming from the girl, it was like she was holding back some enourmous power. Isacc stared at the back of the little girls head. something was wrong. he looked at Neimi, she was still distraught from Tom's death. one day away from the capital and they had already seen so much death.
they saw the troop of lesternian soldiers turn away and enter the forest. if any of the soldiers had even a slight amount of firefly magic, which was extremely unlikely there little fight at the top of the valley was sure to have been seen.
they could even be laying an ambush, but why? the evil old woman knew what Colm was and wanted him dead. how and why, Isacc could hardly begin to think. however why would a full troop of soldiers want Colm dead? they couldn't possibly know what he is.
"Past this forest is the border to Rebenki, we should be at Koha in about 2-3 days, if we go at a normal pace." said Neimi, "Which i can't see why we can't. even these great heros can wait a day, surely."
Colm picked Alice up and put her on his shoulder, the opposite one to what had been hit by the ray of light. he felt that something was going on, maybe some other heros were near, or in need of him. he liked to think so, he felt a warm sensation on his injured shoulder, he ignored it and kept on walking, deep in thought.
Neimi stared as the would closed up in a flare of yellow flame. Neimi looked at Isacc who simply nodded. Alice looked back and giggled, Neimi shivered. how did a little girls laugh sound so strangely sinister?...

Desolate didn't even touch the ground, it's power over gravity reversed it from under the blade shooting the flat up, bringing the knife out of Kirza's hands and into the ground several yards away.

"Your work is nothing but the work of greed, and that we cannot allow." He stated before rearing back an arm.

Ghalion released his power over the air and soon after launched a fist forwards towards Kirza, but not just a fist, a fist back with gravity around three times that of the earths being launched towards his center. The leather of his glove cracked at the force of the fist as it flew towards Kirza with great speed.

Inside Ghalion knew they had things they needed to do, and it seemed that the archers were done, there was maybe a swordsman left but he wasn't too much to be worried about. The ogres were done... and his eyes were on Kirza.

The words came through his head "Koha... we must get there."

He flew backwards and skidded across the ground, small chuncks of blood landing all around him as he coughed them up. He pulled himself up, one eye pressed shut to attempt to avert the pain.

'What the heck was that?' he though, 'He is way too small to have hit me that hard...what is going on here?'

He stood up slowly, grasping his stomach for a moment and picking up his knife which had landed near to him. He looked at the vampire, taking in a deep breathe then letting it out, regaining his strength and composure.

"No, you are wrong about me. My master my fight for greed...," Kirza said, sprinting as fast as he could, becoming what seemed to be a blur, and reappearing behind Ghalion, raising his dagger high above his head.

"But I, I fight only for my men. I fight only to protect them. I may be cold-hearted, but i will protect all those who are near to me!"

He thrust the knife downward, toward his opponents neck.

Akira looked at Ueki and slash down with his sword hitting nothing but air. The large wall of water slowly fell around Akira, and shot out toward Ueki. The water moved like it was alive hopping from one spot to another. The movements of the water mirrored that of Ueki's petals.

Namaki slightly opened her lips, but kept her smooth walk, swinging her arms. So, this was a small step to the tip of the mountain.

'Amazing.'

There were some vibrations that barely reached her feet, and they were more hyperactive than a traveller's footsteps. Well, it could do good to find out. But not now. Trying to spark up conversation in the awkward aura, Namaki said, "So... nice... weather...?" her tone sounded shaky, yet sincere and sweet. It had a child-like innocence, but she never displayed innocence that much. No, no, that was quite the contrary.

Inuvin smiled. She was often told that she needed to learn the art of small-talk. "Yes wonderful. What the Elder would call a 'Mother Gaea' day." She kept walking. The awkwardness of the conversation was not lost on her. "Elder often liked to name his favorite things. Like Mother and Father. Elder is my great grandfather so I suppose it would make sense" Inuvin was slightly surprised that she would let go of this information so soon. Not many knew this even in the tribe. She silently admonished herself. Namaki did not need to know such personal things yet. As much as Inuvin would like to believe this she had a feeling that trust between them would soon become important. She didn't know what else to say so her information hung like mist in the air.

Ghalion's galaxy blue eyes seemed to let off a glow of frost, frost from the cold his face reflected in his emotion. He had enough of this, and after throwing out an arm towards the oncoming knife which clanged against the styrnium black metal he thrust out his own hand towards Kirza's neck, grasping him firmly as the arm he used to block lowered with his blade in hand, pointing it towards Kirza's shoulder from below.

As the sun went down he felt his vampiric strength fill him, dark lines ran under his pale skin throughout his body as he opened his mouth, his fangs growing larger and more powerful as he lifted Kirza by the neck.

"You are in my way." He stated with a demonic rasp in his voice, and he threw the dragon off to the side before running down to the group. He grabbed everyone nearby, even Akira (Pulling him from his attack in a large jump) and Muramasa, Albert and the vampire boy after sheathing his Desolate Dragon. He then took in a deep breath before shouting to the sky as his form started to shatter and break off into energy.

"This is going to hurt.. a lot.." He told himself as his whole body became a swarm of twilight energy. The twilight has scooped up the group before bursting into the sky off towards the horizon where Koha was, and after some period of time they landed at the Village gates where the wooden houses were lined past and the guard towers stood high at the corner. Ghalion reform his body and fell against the wall. It had taken nearly all of his remaining strength to bring the others there with him.

The pain filled his body as he watched the rest of the group reappear before him from the twilight, and they all seemed to land quite safely. In an assured breath he drew in his air and said "Here we are... don't cause trouble now..."

Shinon walked through the town heading no where as Flare was slowly following. Suddenly he felt a strong surge of power but it soon dissapeared. The Spear screamed for Shinon to hurry to the source as it had found the thing or similer to it. Having no choice he muttered, "Come on Flare." Before running off to the power. 'I've felt that before.....Once when I was traveling. It was the power of a Twilight Vampire.' Thought Shinon as he continued to the power.

Namaki smiled at Inuvin. Somehow, she felt quite confortable with her. Suddenly, she stopped. There were slight vibrations reaching her. They came all the way over here, so it was definitely not a regular traveller's. For the moment, she ignored it, and started a jog. Then, Namaki turned around and smiled once more, challenging Inuvin to a race. "Come on!"
However, the Oni stopped once she turned back around, seeing a horse of some sort in the distance. A pouty looking, neutral emotion took over her face. The horse looked dangerous. But maybe it was just Namaki's own paranoia.

Akira had been taken away from his fight, something he didnt like to happen. He jumpped from his safe seat as they headed toward the ground. He landed beside the Twlight Vampire, and toke a good look at his weapon. Akira's Frozen Tide began to shake with, feeling, and power. Akira turned and looked at all the others and then toke a look at Muramasa. Akira shook his head as Muramasa, tryed to stay to himself, and reflect on his failure as a warrior fighitng Ueki.

How could he think he defeated Ueki so easily with one attack,it wasnt possible, and what about the power that Twlight Vampire had, when he stopped all sound. Muramasa's mind then whent to the question of Akira and the arura he and his weapon gave off. Muramasa thought hard about these things, and toke a look at his own weapon. Kirza hit the ground, hard, his head smacking against a rock before bouncing across the dirt once or twice. Kirza growned and rubbed the back of his head, his vision blurred, as he stood up. He shook his head, clearing his sights, and stood slowly, inspecting his surroundings.

"Great," he said to himself, "They disapeared? Where the heck did they go!?"

He looked over toward what used to be a Lesternian special ops unit and growled lowly.

"Pathetic curs...couldnt even finish their mission."

He then remembered of Ueki and looked over to where he had last seen him and noticed the petals from his special attack coming back to form his body. He growled lowly again and began to walk over toward the recollecting body of Ueki. His feet hit hard against the ground as he walked, and his low dragonic growl tore at the back of his throat.

The thing could go try it on Inuvin, not her. "Hmph." was all that the woman could say. She stared for a long moment.

Ueki's petals form back into his sword. Ueki growled at the way his attack was blocked so easliy, when it could cut threw anything. Ueki shook his head in shame, and shealthed his sword. He wasnt hurt at all,but had a small amount of blood on his shoulder.

Ueki looked at the blood and watched as the water dripped onto the cool ground below him. Ueki then notcied a sense of danger, and with his ears noticed the growl of Kirza. Ueki looked over to him and his anger rose. He knew he was in trouble, but he had to leave Koha,he hated that place, and didnt want to be left their alone. Ueki's anger soon turned to calmness as his Elf instincts toke over. His eyes grew out and his eyes turn blue. HIs normal child like figure turned into a confident, wise elves leader. Ueki spoke calmly, and without anger.

"Your mad i may understand way,but i still dont care, and ill take whatever you want he to take, but i still see no reason to be angry. We lost, they were more powerful, and four strong people, with powers ive never seen." Ueki continued to talk as Kirze continued to make his way toward him. "For one i dont know how the Twlight Vampire was able to stop even my hearing, and i also dont understand how my petals, which can cut throught anything, were stopped so easliy, then the first person i was fighitn was able to fire off lighitng with the skills of a elf but he was a demon, then their was the other Twlight Vampire that sat on that rock the whole time, and didnt move a muscle.............We could have beaten them but we didnt know anything about them, and we barly do...........All we know is that one can use the lighitng and thunder against us,one can control water, and wind to a degree that is unimaginable, and then thiers the one that controls gravilty and sound..........i know two of their names, but i still dont know anything about them.........So you can stop growling at me or i may have to get serious with you."

Ueki had never been in his elf form in a long time,he didnt know what brought it on,and he didnt like it. Anyone that brought out Ueki's elf side didnt live long after, because eki wa sone of the few elves that are cold-blooded.

Kirza finished his approach on Ueki, standing over him and staring down. He continued to growl lowly, his eyes still remained black from his rage during his battle with the twilight vampire.

"You are over Lesternia, am i correct?" His voice was deep and raspy, full of rage at the recent defeat of the Lesternian Unit. "And the leader of that unit that was just defeated before my eyes correct?"

Kirza clenched his fist, bareing his fangs.

"I don't care how much stronger they were than us and I don't care if you've never seen their powers. There is no excuse for a special ops group of Lesternian Soliders, no matter how small, to be defeated."

He turned around, calming his voice slightly, his eyes starting to revert to their original blood-red.

"We are going into Koha, we must track them down. It is obvious that we cannot fight them, but we must at least find out what they are doing..."

Kirza turned again, seeming to calmed considerably, but still seeming incredibly enraged.

"And you had better learn some respect, your lucky im letting you off easy this time, next time you disrespect a commanding officer will cost you. Now get up, we must hurry."

Inuvin looked at the horse. Adnarim didn't come down from her height. She had a deathly fear of horses for some reason. "Hello" She said to the horse noticing the reins. "It must be from Ribenki" She said and patted it's muzzle lightly. "I haven't been around a horse for a while. No one in the Tribe has had one in a long time" She looked at the horse again. "Elder of course has seen some...he said that sometimes farmer's from the fixed villages would only put saddles and reins on. We've got no way of telling whose horse it is." She smiled at the sight of Adnarim circling away "My bird isn't quite at ease with it yet" Inuvin may have seemed to be rambling with this but she was heading to a point. "Either we have a new companion or it'll eventually drift away back to it's owner. I don't think it really matters what gender it is and I for one do not want to get behind those back legs" Inuvin made it too her point. Granted with more information bits than were strictly necessary. Inuvin didn't resume walking. The horse seemed different than most animals but Inuvin had no experience with these creatures and she knew only what the Elder told her.

Flare nibbled gently on inuvins fingers when she petted her. Not many were allowed to pet her since one of the farmers had taken her with a cart to another villiage of ribenki and she was 'examend' by a few buyers that were intrested in her. Mainly because of the rare drawing in the leg fur it had taken the famer alot of convincing that he was not gonna part from his horse. The buyers were angry and none of the farmer had taken her to villiage again in fear they might try to steal her. She putted her atention on inuvins pockets and sniffed her a bit.

"Koha is a vital point in capturing Rinbenki. Without it, we cannot cut off supply lines going to and from the city, nor will we have a vital vantage point to spy on and take over the city from."

He watched Ueki sprint past him and picked up his speed to catch up with and match that of Ueki's

"Simply put, withouth Koha, we cannot take Rinbenki without having substanstial loses. And, without Rinbenki, taking this world will be much harder than need be. For every city we don't capture, our chances of victory decreases. We must capture and controll everything that we can!"

Fu left the dark alley located in the town square as quickly as he could, dodging past the horror stricken bodies of people who managed to get a glimpse of his red eyes while its irises narrowed into a thin vertical slit, a sign of his being heretic, the mark of being a half-breed. Wearing his old rinbenki elite armor of black and red metal panels held fast by thick sturdy leather cords, decorated by his mark, the mark of the moon.

His right hand at the ready, just over an inch above his rinbenki elite's blade, held firmly by his left arm at his side.

He dashed passed the market place, the guard's outposts and towards the city gates where the captain of the guards noticed his arrival. The captain of the guards, wisened by his old age and years of experience, noticed his unusual armor and told the other 29 guards to close the gates. He had been checked. His armor was the last of the Rinbenki elite's that was abolished a thousand years ago after it's failed mission. The captain knowing thus, suspected him.

"You can not pass!" the old captain said, his face grim and hard, sword drawn and at the ready.

"I have no time for this non sense!" Fu snapped, his eyes flaring red.

"y..you..." the captain stuttered, his voice raw with fear.

Fu used his vampiric eyes. All the guards that saw his eyes were frozen still, not with cold, but with great fear.

"Open the gate!" Fu shouted, his sword already unsheated. "Now!"

But the guards were unable to move. His sword at the ready, slanted, pointed towards the ground, ready for an upward swing. it's polished blade reflecting the light emitted by the fireflies, now creeping in swarms.

Minutes after, Fu went out the gate, all thirty guards and their captain lay dead. Fu breathed hard and dashed out towards the lestern outpost, soaked in blood.

It wasn't much just an old peice of cracked jelewry from her grandmother. It was three silver shells strung on to an old piece of string. But to Elder it was the most precious thing he owned. "Only this. Elder gave it to me before I left...it was Grandmama's he gave it to me for luck" WHen Flare was done Inuvin put it back in her pocket. She called to Adnarim she was getting annoyed with her bird. "Come, Addy," she called to her bird using a nickname she only used when she got mad. Flagrare hadn't followed Ghalion or whatever his name was into the village, for, to be honest, he had not realized the other vampire had left. Andras was too far lost in his own thoughts as he watched the setting sun. It scared him. As soon as the sun disappeared from sight his entire conciousness overflowed with thoughts of his own impending death, it was close. He could feel it. Pulling his knees into his chest, he stared blankly with dispairing eyes into the nothingness in front of him, and looking back mentally at the nothingness behind. But there was only the darkness of the night. Nothing moved saved the bugs which devoured one another in the spasmatic seizures of life.

Flagrare just sat there in the darkness. His entire mind bent and unfeeling.

Colm stared at the new consatlations in the sky. he was further away from Arcleora than he had ever been. Alice and Isacc were asleep, and had been for about an hour. Neimi had gone down into the river to get a wash, and she took some of the spare clothes to wash aswell.
they were about an hour from Koha, they'd start walking at about dawn and hopefully get directions from the morning market.
he heard a small sob from the darkness, he quietly called out, "do you want me to help?"
he heard another snuffle, "Yeah you can help carry some of these back."
Colm sat up and looked into the small path between the trees, he could just make out Neimi with a few piles of clothes around her. she looked so frail as she picked up a pile. Colm wondered how long he would be able to stay with her and Isacc. he could now feel something else in the air. it has been awokened when he attacked the evil old woman. he could almost feel the ebbs and tides of something higher than what he could understand in the air around him. right now there was a tide pulling towards Koha.
it was this that had first made him think to carry on this way.
"don't worry," he smiled at Neimi, "i can feel it. something will happen in Koha, i just don't know what."
she smiled back, she looked a mess but her face was steadily getting less hollow and more full of life. ever since the fight earlier in the day she had been subdued, since Tom's death. she was putting it behind her, quicker than what was healthy, but there wasn't time to greive, that would come later.

By the time he passed through the gate, he had slowed to a walk. He stopped after entering the gate, looking around and smelling the air.

'That scent,' he thought, 'it's very close.'

He looked around again, seeing the tall grass but not seeing Ghalion. He felt suspicious, however, and walked down a ways, past a few stores, before sitting on the ground, looking at the tall grass out of the corner of his eye.

'That,' he thought to himself, 'Is the ideal spot for somebody to hide. If he isn't there, then he must be in an alley...or at least that's all I can think of.'

Kirza sat and smiled, beginning to laugh lowly and quietly to himself. He breathed out a small ring of smoke, aiming it into the sky. The man had amused him, to say the least, and noticed him as the man who had been fighting Ueki.

"Oh do not worry, my good sir, I am not as insolent as Ueki." He smiled as talked, letting out another smoke ring inbetween his sentences. "And as for why I am here, it matters not to your situation."

He smiled again, tapping his nails on his left hand across the pavement, looking over at the tall grass that hid Ghalion. He knew that he was trapped, if the man sitting next to him didn't get him, then the vampire in the tall grass would.

He stood up, groaning slightly as he did so, and brushed off his clothing. His eyes were kept closed and his muscles relaxed. He didn't want a fight now, he knew he wasn't well enough equipped, but if there had to be one, he wouldn't let it be to his disadvantage.

Ghalion sat in the tall grass, cross-legged, his head crouched down to hide as much of him as possible. He held his breathe for a moment as Kirza entered the gate and sat silentlyas Kirza spotted him.

Muramasa nodded as Ghalion made his move. He stood up and dashed toward the Dragon. His demonic side let loose as a surge of lighitng vibrted througth his entire body. The lighting began to build in the palm of Muramasa's hand as he jumpped above the two and fired a single blast into the ground infront of them. The dust would allow the Vampire to gain a third advantge against the Dragon, The first being the dragon was alone and the second being that Muramasa was here ready to fight as well.

Muramasa landed in the cloud of smoke and drew his sword. He came across the draogn's body with a quick and deadly side slash.

Akira called the water to himself and jumpped form the post he fell begin the main gate and spread the water aorund, the entire gate freezing it in a soild blockage of ice and water. Akira slowly inhaled and began to move like water,as he moved his arms around slowly. The water mixed with the dirt and formed mud.

The mud spread across the ice and formed weapons. The weapons were in the shape of kunia knifes, shirkens, arrows, spears, katanas, and axes. Akira stood ontop of his fortress and watched as the force had its rush for the gate.

Ghalion shot of into another direction around the dust and felt his power within becoming more mature, the thousand years of sleep had narrowed his abilities, and he noticed that his agility was now back into place. Faster then before, and with the weight of gravity lifted from his body he blasted off towards Kirza from a diagonal direction, drawing forth his Desolate Dragon into a simultaneous strike towards the dragon man.

As he had charged the thoughts of all who were there with him filled his mind, wondering if any at all would take action.

He neared an area seemly near the village gates. He looked over to see a Twilight Vampire start an attack on a strange foe. Most likely one of the enemy. He noticed the sword on the vampire and Shinon clutch his spear. He readied himself to see a opening so that he wouldn't disrupt the flow of the others with the Vampire. Inuvin looked at Namaki, "I think we'd best be moving again" She said. she kicked herself again for letting more information out if this kept going she'd soon have no secrets from Namaki, even if some of those secrets were meant to be kept.
Adnarim switched shoulders so that she was now closer to Flare. She twittered a bit. So that soon the air was filled with her whistling. After a while she stopped and took off to resume her scouting position.

Andras stared up glumly... there was a lot of noise... what were these people doing that needed so much noise? He stepped away from the gate just as it froze solid... he sighed and leaned back against a wall to think. Was this really useful... this pointless scrimppering and screaming and clawing for some useless amalgomation of stones and sticks that would probably not last a mere thousand years? What was the point of fighting in the moment? He didn't understand. And not understanding he didn't bother.

He leaned back against the wall to go to sleep. Leaning against the massive poleaxe as he began to doze.

It was slowly absorbed into the ground and stood tall with his handle pointing toward the clouds that hung overhead.

Muramasa looked as he was the only one fighting the soldier's,but it didn't mean anything to him. Muramasa closed his eyes and exhaled deeply. Serges of lighting slowly vibrated the ground and formed in his hand. The lighting formed a type of chidori type attack and Muramasa watched as *** the troops rushed toward him at one time, all in different directions.

Muramasa grinned as his eyes turned crimson red and his fangs reached their highest point. His eyes were completely demonic and so was his voice."Lets make it rain all of you idiots blood." Muramasa slammed his hands and the lighting into the ground and pulled them back up. The lighting was sent in a whip leash motion and cut half of the swordsman in half. Colm had to carry Alice after about 40 minutes. the beautiful constalations were now covered by some of the fiercest rain clouds he had ever seen.
they had been forced to move from the woods when a group of hungry wolfs came poking around. due to his love for the wolfs he didn't have the heart to kill them so they set off towards Koha early. they had been going for about an hour and koha had just came into view before the sudden rain clouds blocked it from all sight.
"what do you thinks going on?" asked Neimi.
Isacc looked worried, "I think we'd better hurry up. this has got something to do with you." he said as he pointed at Colm.
Colm felt the same forces in the air as before, only now they were almost physically pulling him.
"I'll be quicker without you. let me go ahead, when you catch up go straight to the nearest inn. i'll find you."
Neimi looked as if she wanted to argue but Colm had already span around and was running off, Predators Past was strapped onto his back as he lent down to run on all fours. it had been awhile since he had done that.

at the gate he skirted around some of the fighters then jumped over the rest. he landed near a boy asleep near a wall. he had the right idea.
he carried on, he could almost feel everything coming together. if he could just get to, well whatever he had to get to... he ran around the corner of the main street and came to a open square near some alleyways and strangely a large patch of grass. Maybe the town decor was different here.

he saw the battle straight away, it looked fierce, but which combatant was the one he needed to win? he could try to break up the fight but from the power of the attacks he knew he probably couldn't anyway.

he calmy walked over to a small bench and sat down to watch. he saw the battle take a turning point as one of the combatants got a sweet punch on the other. Colm found himself willing the other man, who it looked like was a half dragon sort of breed, to get back up. he hadn't seen a good scrap in ages, ever since he was with the wolfs, when fighting was for fun...

As Akira spoke his last words his memory activated like it never did before. It power shined with a sapphire blue that covered the area around Akira's body. Ice also formed into a dragon's head around his sword hand, encasing it up to the hilt. The battle was beginning to wind down and Flagrare decided it would be best to move on... he didn't know if the people fighting were his enemies, having long ago lost track of who was who and what side they were on. Besides, even if they weren't his enemies he didn't like associating with people, too much of a bother... he'd much rather go wandering about the country side without direction... he chuckled... that sounded like such an odd thing to want to do. He sighed... well... he supposed he was kind of odd, but that was only a guess since he had not known himself long enough to be sure, though some inner voice told him he was right.

He walked out of the village where no one was looking, one person was caught up fighting some ogres or what not, two other pairs were fighting one another. Flagrare wasn't a violent person, though he didn't dislike fighting, he was just too indifferent to something so transcient to care. He not that there was anything that wasn't transcient. It all faded away eventyally and if it did so he wouldn't bother to get started with it in the first place.

Now he thought as he stood out side the village, which way to go, he hefted his polearm when slowly, almost imperceptably. A fear began to creep into him. It was dark and ageless. Something beyond his understanding. It was a fear of...death. He leaned against a house wall and pulled his sat down. His eye began to loose touch with anything and as they seemed to roll back into his head... "I don't want to die..." he muttered. He pulled his knees in close to his bodyand held wrapped his arms around them, dropping his poleaxe to do so... He didn't want to die but he was dying... he could feel it...

A small light caught the corner of his eye and he noticed that the bottom of the Phoenix's shaft was on fire. He wimpered silently, not knowing what this meant, but rather inuiting, understanding, it. This was it... he was going to die... midnight was closing in... and he was going to die. He repeated to himself in a pathetic sob, "I don't want to die. I don't want to die."

Kirza growled looking around. As much as he hated to admit it, they had been defeated, again. He stood up out of his fighting stance, looking at Ghalion, his expression dark and grim, his mouth growling and baring his fangs. He clenched his fists, his arms shaking slightly in rage.

He looked at his opponent, then over to the cloud of smoke that encompassed Ueki, and back over to the vampire. He had to get out, he had to go and get Ueki and leave.

He lowered his head, growling again, and turned to walk toward Ueki and Akira's battle scene, cursing under his own breathe, being heard saying, "And finally when i had just hit him..."

Ueki lost he knew it,he knew he lost because akira was holding his body in his hand and dragging him along the ground toward Kirza who was now walking toward them both.

"I lost...........why.........why do i continue to fail?" Ueki cursed under his breath and slowly stood to his feet,he pushed Akira's hand away and wiped the blood from his mouth and arm. Ueki looked over akira and the minor wounds he had,Akira had overpowered him and fought with his heart, while Ueki fought to gain something.

Ueki walked ahead of akira and walked toward Kirza. Ueki's left arm was covered in blood and blood ran down the side of his face. He understood that Kirzq would make a big deal about his defeat but he didn't care to much about it he had lost and that mattered but he was overpower and outran by Akira's grace and speed. Ueki looked over at the last few solders that remained and petals began to cover their bodies, the petals slashed away at their bodies Intel nothing was left. Ueki grinned and glanced at the Twilight Vampire call Ghalion,he shook his head and stop in front of Kirza,he didn't look up but didn't look down,he wasn't ready to talk to anyone at the time.

Akira watched Ueki walk away, and growled at Kirza their was something about that dragon that he didn't like. Akira calmed down and watched at Ueki's petals dissolved the remaining troops. He was glad and looked over at the destruction cased by the battles. he growled at water covered the bodies of those that were dead, and toke them away to the crater that Akira and Umeko made with their power. The water mixed with the dirt and made mud. The mud then covered the bodies and froze solid making earth.

Akira stood behind Kirza, and Ueki and was parallel with Ghalion. Akira shook his head and erased the pain in his side. He growled at the half moon that was over their heads. "Only if you were full could I have truly control you." Akira smiled and sat down beside the closet house to him. He was still in sight of Kirza and Ueki and he could see Ghalion easily. Akira smiled as his wolf body began to heal itself.

The moon was reaching its zenith... midnight was fast approaching and Flagrare was quickly loosing what little self control remained as he gradually began to digress into a gibbering wreck... "I don't want to die I don't want to die!" he kept muttering as sobs and tears racked his body. His words heightened in volume as the fire on the poleaxe began to spread, now covering nearly half of the shaft.. "Why do i have to die? What did i do to deserve this? Is this fate? Why? Why, why why?!?!" His eye were blank and a film was already beginning to glaze them over. IT was the film all eyes got after the person had died. Was he so much in the grave that even his eyes no longer cared that he was still concious?

"All right then..." Namaki mumbled. She was afraid if Flare couldn't handle the weight. But she trusted that she knew her senses. "Well..." her gray dress could've been a problem. No worries, there was a dab of horse riding she had learned during her long life. So the Ghost Oni went on, place her legs at just one side of the horse. It was unorthidox, but still, it would've worked.

Inuvin carefully burried her fear and climbed onto Flare's back. Okay, just don't look at the ground and hold on and you should be just fine, just fine. Inuvin touched her grandmama's nacklace and calmed down. She wouldn't have to guide the horse really, it wa smart enough to know where they were going. Inuvin closed her eyes. She suddenly looked like a scared eighteen year-old. It was rare for her, so often she seemed to have hundreds of years under her belt, but then little moments like the one she happened to be in now popped up.
Adnarim's white feathers were easy to see in the dark sky. She seemed to realize that and floated down to Inuvin's shoulder. She was less visible there. Plus, she could comfort Inuvin there.
Adnarim's presence helped a little but changed nothing. Inuvin focussed on breathing. Elder would have found the whole situation hilarious. Oh how he would have laughed to see his granddaughter scared of a horse. That thought made Inuvin steel herself.

Albert looked at the scene of the battle that had taken place with a smirk. Al's body shook with laughter at the scene as he thought about the events of the day. Albert had fallen asleep in an alley after Ghalion transported them. Albert was still a little groggy after waking up, but he still could tell everything that happened since his nap. Al then took a look at the new chosen that had appeared, "You look familiar, have I seen you before?" he asked, with a bit of confusion.

Making a bit use of her blood made them stay seated she walke up the mountain in a calm pace. Galloping in the dark was foolish and dangerous she could easily run of a cliff or something, she ocasionally looked up at the bird incase it saw something she did not. The weight on her back was lighter than expected and she was glad for that the last thing she needed was being exhausted which would lead to tranforming back to her human form and no matter how kind these girls were she was not gonna show that form yet.

Colm had wanted to stay and watch the end of the fight but ne could sense some amazing energy coming from just down the street. although it was covered in heavy rain Colm could still see into the tempest. the rain died down as Colm approached and he saw the two fighters readying there last reserves for a final attack.
He looked around for any civilians so he could get them away before the attack happened, he noticed the boy with the poleaxe walking away just as the two fighters hit. he brought his arms up to sheild his face as ice and petals flew out at him. he looked back and saw that the first fight had finished too, turning back around he watched as one of the fighters brought out the other.
he couldn't be bothered to listen to their talk so he set off after the poleaxe boy. he passed an alley and heard a call.
he looked at the man, "i have been living in Arceola as the royal prince for some years now, could it be that?" he asked the man, walking over to help him stand up...

The night was coming to it's center slowly but surely, his opponent seemed to realize the odds and Ghalion let out a deep breath, releasing the power back to the land.

He then turned towards the other Vampire and dashed to his side, hebrought his large form over the boy in a kneel and placed a hand on his shaking shoulder.

"In the morning.. you'll be in my care." He said in a low voice as he stayed his place.

Theous sat up from his large throne on the deck of his ship, and saw a messanger hawk land on his table. Taking the small paper from it's talon and reading it, he narrowed his eyes.

"The fools acted out of orders... They didn't take Koha!" He yelled as he slammed his blue fist into the arm of his chair. He looked to the messenger who was a fellow shape shifter and told him to tell Kirza to returnto the ship.

It was too late. Flagrare was completely consumed in his own mortality and the Memory continued to burn, now completely alight, from the base of its shaft to the tip of the blade. Suddenly for a brief moment all of Flagrare's memories flooded him and he screamed, "Why do I always have to die?"

As the last syllable left his tongue there was a great flash of light as the Phoenix was reduced, almost instantaneously to ashes. For a brief moment Flagrare's entire body froze as though in a state of rigor mortis. Then with another flash of flame and sulfur the poleaxe appeared back in Flagrare's hand and his eyes were cleared of their deathly glaze...

He looked around bewildered and then feeling a hand on his should jumped back startled. He spun his poleaxe up and pointed it at Ghallion. Slowly his mouth moved to speak, belaboredly as if unfamiliar with the language which he was now intoning, "Who...are you?"

Kirza growled, his teeth pressed together and grinding, his fists clenched. He knew that a messengar would have already relayed the messaged to Theous, and that it would be his head for not only leading an unapproved attack, but for failing to take the city as well. He continued to walk toward Ueki, his head hanging, his eyes shadowed over.

He stopped his approach toward Ueki and allowed his wings to sprout from his back before grabbing Ueki around the waiste and throwing him over his shoulder. He took off flying as fast as he possibly could.

"Ueki," Kirza started, his voice amazingly calm, "Avoid Lord Culbrin as much as possible. You weren't at this battle, got it?"

Kirza dropped Ueki at his unit's ship before taking off to return to his own and face the consequences of his actions. It didn't take him long to reach his ship and to reach his chambers. He replaced his leisure clothes with his platinum battle armor and platinum sword, all of which was trimmed in red. He strapped a platinum sheild to his back and picked up his helmet, holding it under his right arm. He walked out of his room, his platemail clanging against itself, all of his most important possesions already on his body. He approached the throne room. He knew what was coming, but it mattered not. It would just be another stern yelling at, and that would be it, at least thats all he hoped it was...

Albert then walked out of the alley to get the best look at the damage, Lesternia, you will pay, he thought before walking to Ghalion and Flagrare. As he watched the scene he sighed sadly, knowing what the poleaxe did to it's owner.

Albert walked forward after a few seconds but remained quiet until the two Twilight vamp's exchange.

their smiles told him, they looked brilliant. Colm was slightly confused, "anyway, could you please go back to the inn for a bit, i need to talk to these guys."

He knew he couldn't explain everything at that time, so he tilted his head towards the boy with his arms wide. "I'm your father... Flagrare, it's me, Ghalion." He said as he approached him slowly, his eyes still stern and strong. He knew he needed a way to keep him under his eye, but as to how else he could have done it, there wasn't much that he could do.

As Kirza entered, Theous stood up and threw his goblet to the floor, and drew his blade before taking Kirza by the neck hole in his armor. He brought his lips to his ears and his blade to his side in the opening in the armor.

Kirza's eyes looked down at the blade that was being held near the leather lacing on the side of his breast plate which held it up. He had stumbled forward slightly as his Lord grabbed at his armor, almost dropping his helmet, but he managed to keep it under his arm.

Lord Culbrin's words burned in his ear, his breathe was hot and fierce, causing his skin to crawl uncomfortably. Kirza's eyes continued to stare at the blade that was pressing into the chainmail and cloth under his platemail.

He allowed his helmet to drop down into hishand instead of under his arm. Once he had done so, he grabbed his Lord's arm which had him by the throat hole of his armor, grasping it tightly but not tight enough to hurt him, just to make him feel uncomfortable.

"No matter I tell you, the outcome shall be the same. I lost the battle for Koha, but not by the town guard. A group of powerful men, especially their leader, they were what stopped me."

Kirza's eyes met with his Lord's as he spoke. The blade did not concern him any more, being stabbed was the least of his concerns. What he was really worried about was what his Lord might do after that to punish him...

Fu signaled to his crew to dismiss him, he looked towards Kirza, realizing the Commander's fury by the look on his face. He stepped a bit closer, kneeling with one knee as reverence to his Lord.

"M'Lord," he said, his voice grim, trying to arouse interest and calm the furious master. "It seems that the legendary heroes have come again...Even commander Kirza, Ueki and myself, could not possibly have defeated them point-blank..." he paused as he glanced towards Culbrin. "But there is still hope, M'Lord...the new chosen ones...they use too much power, they will easilly exhaust their memory's strength during a full siege. Also, the other chosen ones have not found a way to heed the twilight vampire's call to arms."

Fu shifted to one side and then stood up. His eyes glowing red, his pupils turning into whin vertical slits. He raised his head and stared at Culbrin.
" I suggest," he said without hesitation, "that we waylay the remainder of the chosen ones...strike them before they get the chance to meet the others. He clenched his left fist, his right fingers tightly grasping the helmet that he held within his hand. With a burst of speed and anger Akira quickly pushed Flagrare back into one of the near by houses, his left hand held the body up while his right hand shook with anger. His fist clenched and drawn back as if to punch the boy and teach him a lesson. Akira looked into the boy's eyes and spoke with the same type of voice he had spoke to Ghalion with.

"You of all people have no right to tell me what i can do,or who i can talk to how i want." Akira slammed his fist into the house beside Flagrare's head making a large hole in it. "Where were you when we were fighting the enemy"Akira's expression turned into a small grin. "Oh yes i remember you were over here holding you little Vampire body crying whispering you don't want to die." Akira let go of the boy's shirt and let him slide to the ground where Akira again spoke to him. "If I'm a threat to you and this world then by all means deal with me." Akira turned his back to the boy and looked back at him with the corner of his eyes that were now the color of blood. "And of you ever touch me again boy i will not hesitate to take your life dint you understand me?"

Flagrare vaguely wondered how this other man knew his name but didn't particularly care as the memory began to release its hold on his spirit and he withdrew back into himself... he looked around... he found a large enough cottage and luckily no one seemed home. Excusing himself from the others without either word or gesture, for by now he had long forgotten about them and did not care enough to remember, he went over to the house and began to rummage through it for food...he found some bread and sat in a corner while he ate it.

He really didn't much care for what was happening... this entire affair was rather pointless... from what he had pieced together the group had fought and defended this town from attack but Flagrare vaguely wondered why. It seemed rather foolish but then it might just be part of times motion... however, the power they used to do so certainly was not. He looked over and saw a body not far from... the eyes were glazed... dead. He had been a fat man, probably spent many jovial hours with his kids but had been cut down running away... his death would be missed by the children for a few years and maybe by the village for a few days but life would move on. Time cared little. And Flagrare sided with time more then with people. He sighed... he should leave while these people were distracted... it would be best that he not let his power get thrown into this already violatile cauldron. But for now there was bread. Good bread for that matter.

Colm had only simply nodded at what Ghalion had told him. he didn't mind taking orders and he really just wanted to get away from the others for a few minutes. he walked quickly towards the inn but slowed down as he saw Isacc, Neimi and Alice all sat outside on the little boundary wall. Alice was happily sipping from a glass of lemonade.
Isacc smiled when he saw Colm glance at the glass. "Yeah the barkeeper wasn't happy being woke up to make a glass of lemonade." he laughed.
Neimi was again silent as she looked deep in thought. she was probably reliving the past few days.
Colm was only young and so was Neimi, he wanted to comfort her but was worried about what would happen. "Anyway we're moving out soon so drink up," he said, smiling at Alice.
he couldn't help but feel something strange about the little girl. sometimes she looked just like the usual smiling lass she was but other times you could almost see something else behind her eyes, something, twisted...

Ghalion saw as the two went there ways, and he shook his head. He thought about who to approach and how to. He saw Colm follow his word, which made him think that maybe his Memory was that of his old friend...

"The blade of the wild... maybe? Dazen?" His mind wandered somewhat before turning in Akira's direction. It seemed he was just a hothead without a sense of power of control, ironic as this hot head dealt with ice.

He jumped up onto the roof of a house and leaped towards the tower before bounding up, landing next to the wolf boy. He looked down at him with his galaxy blues, sparkling with ponder-ative motion.

"Y'know... the one that wielded that weapon before you was a lonely soul, as cold as ice itself. He rarely even showed his power, because little was always enough. You have a ways to go boy, but you need to see your importance with us overall. If we don't allie the three kingdoms then our world will be enslaved."

He walked in front of him, looking towards the morning light drifting slowly above the horizon "If you think that blade means the power is all yours then you are mistaken. You were chosen to wield it's power for the land by the Lord of Fireflies himself and by that you must see your destiny is greater then you think." He paused before turning about to face him "Just because power seems so brilliant, doesn't mean anger must be so too."

He then jumped down from the tower, kicking off from a building letting his cloak sway back in the air as he slowed to a stop, walking towards the house Flagrare entered. They had to get to the capitol, he was sure the Emperor would hear their cause.

Theous narrowed his eyes at Fu, interested in his words he would stand up and walk around his golden throne slowly, handling it as he went on.

"Well well, it seems 'someone' has come up with something interesting, I think I'll keep it." He laughed with a dark overtone, his fangs showing slightly before he rested his voice.

"Make it so, and I shall see what will come your way." He waved a hand, dismissing them both.

Akira had listened to Ghalion's words closely, and for some reason they had struck him harder then any weapon could. "I have a long way to go compared to that of the perivous owner of his memory." Akira growled and his rage began to rise once again. Then he smiled and slowly his memory chimed a new song in his heart. His emotions slowly faded and his mind cleared, his rage sub-sided and his heart opened up to the world behind him. Akira exhaled and stood to his feet. His mind was clear as the weather that surronded them. the moon light of the night sky glemed on his body and his memory answered its call my speaking to Akira in his father's voice.

"My son Akira control your anger and control or sorrow,we miss you and understand your calling, please my son imbrace the world around you and unlock the mysteries of your soul,I love you my son,and i will always be with you."

Akira wiped away the single tear that fell form his eye and landed on his cheek. Ghalion was right about the lonley Soul and the cold as ice part Akira new he could,he wouldn't let his anger cloud his judgment and stop him from gaining control over his memory. Akira placed a foot on the side of the tower and with a water-like movement Akira splashed onto the ground. He walked up beside Ghalion and spoke lowly and with praise.

"Thank you my friend that was what i truly needed to hear." Akira looked at the others and then at Flagrare his anger for him had left him and his mind was still has cold as ice. Akira nodded to him before helping the other up so they could be on their way.

Flagrare wasn't paying attention to anything the others were doing, he didn't hear the lecture Ghalion gave Akira nor the other's response. Rather, he was looking at the dead body of the fat man with fascination. In his idle wonderings he had become curious as to whether or not the man had died screaming since his mouth was open. He began to look closer and when, upon opening the mouth further, blood came out he muttered to himself, "He couldn't have died screaming... logic would dictate the blood would have been cleared from his mouth by the force of the screaming... perhaps he had died choking on his own blood? or maybe a mixture because..." he continued to mutter as he looked around not paying any attention to anything but his own fickle curiosities

Dismissed, Fu took his leave and darted out of the room. His vampiric form more dominant this time. he hasn't recovered his full strenght yet but he has to know just how strong the chosen ones are.

"If their good enough to thrash Commander kirza and ueki like that," he tough, a slight lop-sided grin visible in his face, revealing his long incisors. "Then this battle is worth it after all...plus..." he paused, gazing at the empty sea. "The fireflies are near...I could use my firefly magic."

"Sir," the crewman earlier had arrived and interrupted his musing. "The wolf-like prince,"

"what about him?"

"the assasins failed," he paused gasping for breath. "He's met up with the ther chosen ones."

"well," Fu whispered... "That's something well just have to remedy, isn't it?"

Kirza growled as he walked out of the room, grabbing Fu by the back of his collar, ignoring his crew man who was addressing him. He cared not what Fu had planned, for he wanted a reason as to why he was there.

He dragged Fu all the way back to the private quarters which Kirza had gained, being second in command and all. He let him go as soon as the door was shut and went over to the wine rack against the wall, took out a battle and sat next to the table, pulling the cork out and drinking straight from the bottle.

"What in god's name," Kirza started after taking a long pull from the bottle, "Where you thinking by going in there?"

Kirza set the bottle down at the table, his hand still clasped around the neck of the bottle as he turned his head, looking at Fu expectantly.

Inuvin was a bit surprised. But, after Flare had jumped over and her hearbeat and breathing returned to normal she began to fall asleep again. Inuvin felt her eyes begin to flutter closed, the day had been long and she was ready to sleep again.

Ueki continued on his way. Medic surrounding him and trying to get him to return to the medical chambers. Ueki walked Intel he saw Kirza and Fu. Ueki quickly ducked beside the corner and watched as the disappeared. He shook his head and turned the corner. He continued to walk Intel he was before The Lords door's. The medics slowly turned around and fled as ueki slowly opened the door's. He walked into the room and stopped before his masters Alter. Ueki bent down and bowed on one knee to him.

"My Lord.....I know that Kirza and Fu were all ready here but i to must make a report. I have found out the information i needed from the enemy i encountered. His name was Akira, and for some reason he called his sword a memory. its power over water and his control over the wind caused even me,one of the leaders of your army to freeze. Me being apart of your intelligence team i wondered my he could control a element like that so easily. I'm i truly sorry for not capturing Koha but with your permission i would like to take half my squad of about 300 warriors and track them down."

Ueki knew he was in for some pain and he was ready. he quickly toke his katana from his waist and placed it on the ground in front of the alter.

Seneth walked into the chambers, seeing Ueki with his father, and he would bow towards the throne as he had heard Ueki's words. The Prince would then stand by his father and whisper into his ear softly, before looking to Ueki.

Theous had nodded slowly to his son's words and looked to Ueki, his eyes narrowing into a deeper violet. "We are not using any more of our soldiers, yet. "

He then stood up and paced around the throne, he would then looked to Seneth and nod slowly. "We are going to attempt a strike at the capitol city of Rinbenki, Tsubana. I am sending my son with the Hexon Raiders, and he'll be charging them by the coast via the long boats."

He looked of to the sides of his room and from several nooks opened up some doors, the silhouettes of severalbeings stepped in. Theous looked to one of them, and the being stepped out with a great ax at his back, it was an orc like creature with red skin.

"The Hexons will charge the side gates at Tsubana as my son takes in a special team of fighters. They'll storm to the castle as quickly as possible and take the Emperor hostage." He would then turn to Ueki and wave him forwards, placing a hand on his shoulder "You will be protecting my son, as Daigon and his Hexons charge the gates. You'd best not let him die, or it'll be your head."

He then waved them all away, dismissing them all. "Go, and take the long boats up the river to the jade lake, where the capitol harbor lays. But be quiet before your strike."

Ghalion had finally made it to the open doorway of Flagrare's house, he saw the boy looking upon a dead body and narrowed his eyes at the scene. "He's dead, son. No need to ponder those lost in this despicable fate, we only need to move on so they may rest when our world is free."

He walked in, taking a lean beside Flagrare's seat, his galaxy of whites in his eyes all seemed to shift in the deep blue around his pupils, his face turning up through the partly destroyed roof. He would then set a large hand upon his shoulder and look down.

"Even though nothing really makes sense to you, you must continue on my boy." His deep voice would fade after those words, and his hand would lift from him as he stood once more, his silver hair seeming dull in the night light.

Flagrare looked up, he had missed most of what Ghalion had said, being to absorbed in his own thoughts and musings, but he did catch the tail end of his words, the part about continuing on. "I don't think that's a choice... Time... doesn't really rest. So many wheels within wheels," his eyes lost focus but he kept talking, no long talking to Ghalion but rather to himself, "and as long as those cogs stay in motion so shall I. And just as those wheels spin without actually getting anywhere so shall I. For I clock work hard but only succeeds in marking the passage of time. It performs no useful act. It plows no fields, and carries no water. Such is all life that dwells within the framework of conciousness, the cage of existance, they scuttle and scurry to no end but to mark a time, and only then for a brief moment before the second hand shifts again."

Fu stared at kirza, straightening his collar.

"Commander," he said, walking towards the wall and looking back at Kirza, "Our Liege renders us expendable, he regards firefly magic as a mere parlor trick, as far as I'm concerned...especially now that the fireflies are coming in swarms..." he paused. "we are the only ones who can match the chosen ones."

Fu walked towards Kirza, slowly, smiling.

"Besides, even the elites and assassins we've sent so far had failed. And if any of us are to be killed, this campaign will become a total failure. All our troops will either be pushed back or killed, and our efforts...lost." Fu said, his smile gone, his face grim and hard as if remembering something from the past.

Kirza sighed, putting his left hand to his face, covering his eyes, his elbow on the table, allowing him to put all of his weight on it. He rubbed his forehead, trying to relieve some tension that was within his skull, his muscles. His body ached and he needed to shed his skin, and soon, but he couln't do it here, or now.

He sighed again before lifting his head and lowering his hand to the table, looking at Fu, his head seeming heavy, his body worn and tired. He knew that Fu was right, and, more importantly, he knew what he was going to do about it...

"Fu, " he started, waving him over to the table, "Sit for a moment, I have a lot to tell you."

He waited for the officer to take a seat before pouring some of the wine into two seperate goblets and setting on in front of himself and Fu. He sighed again. His thoughts were heavy. Fu may very had been the only one he could trust with this info...and he may have very well been the only one willing to listen.

"You are right about a few things, we are but pawns, and we are only meant to fight for that jerk we call a Lord. But there is one thing you are wrong about, we cannot kill the chosen ones. They are too strong even for us. I have faught them twice already and trust me on this. They are much stronger than any of us give them credit for.

"Now, this is not the first time i have thought of defecting, it has crossed my mind many times sence Theous has taken the throne. However, this may very well be the best time for me to do so."

Kirza stopped, looking to the side and taking a drink before looking back at Fu and continuing.

"So, my proposal to you, is to come with me. You have been the only soldier who has faught under me to actually respect me. The choice is yours. Do as you wish. But i will tell this, fighting for Theous will yield you no glory. Ive been fighting for him sence the day he took hold and have yet to get any bit of thanks for my hard work."

He downed the rest of his drink and sighed again, placing the goblet on the table and still holding the bottle in his right hand. He looked over to Fu again, standing up as he did so.

"Sleep on it. I am leaving first thing in the morning. If you decide to come and i have already left, you can find me whever the chosens may be. Good luck to you no matter what you may decide to do."

He sat on the bed, the dead scales on his body starting to flake off in large chunks, small streams of blood flowing out from where the scales had just fallen from his body. He groaned slightly, putting his right hand up to his head after dropping the bottle to the floor and watching it roll to the wall.

"Please, take your leave before you see any more of this."

He groaned again, he knew that this was going to be a long night...

Downing his wine with one gulp. He rose to his seat and bowed.

Taking his leave, he went out of the room and glanced back at the startled crewman.

"Sir?" the crewman asked.

Fu signaled his companion to follow him, and walked towards his room. He opened the cabin door and stepped inside. The crewman followed and stood by the door. Fu paced a little and stared at the crewman.

"It's nothing, has the rest of the spies found the rest of the Gen'ei clan yet?"

"Only the village sir...and a girl."

Fu's eyes widened. "Take me to her."

He managed to fight down the urge and sat on the wall next to Neimi. She looked like she was about to faint.

The only problem was that Ueki hated the army and hated the King to the point where he wanted to kill him. Ueki only stayed because he need to be apart of something that could change the world and help him live a happy life.

Seneth heard the words from his 'Protector' and he scowled with narrow eyes, the prince would then follow him out until they broke off. Seneth would make his way onto the next ship from a side hall, a wooden stairway onto the side vessel with was much smaller then the Armada. He looked about the smaller green hull awaiting Ueki while standing next to a team of five warriors, each wrapped up in black clothes, tight fitting and barely revealing. They only showed their eyes, each a different pair of colors as they stood.

Ghalion would nod to the boy's words, and he would motion his direction for the boy. He knew he would follow, he was going to go on. He eyed around and waved to each of the Chosen in sight, calling them to the northwestern road.

"To Tsubana... The Emperor is our main priority, we need him to start the alliance." He then pulled his long dark cloak over through the wind, letting it flutter as he made his steps towards the road.

Albert didn't really see Ghalion as he was busy digging the graves of a middle-aged man and woman, and two kids, one around 14 while the other an infant who were slain in the attack(although Albert thought he saw bits of ice on their clothes) by a theif who Al promptly killed. "The family were most likely farmers do to their clothes," Albert whispered to himself, not thinking about anyone else.

After Al finished he unsheathed his sword and stabbed it into the mound. Albert then pulled the sleeves of his shirt down, and with the talon-like right thumb nail, he slit his wrist and watched the blood trickle down his wrist and drip on the mound. Al solemnly wiped up the blood with his right thumb and wrote on the blade of his sword in an ancient language, May the light of the fireflies guide them to Nirvana, and walked away, looking at the soldiers and theives that died and prayed, May God's judgement shine on them.

Albert left his sword and sheath on that gravesite and walked towards Ghalion, wiping the sweat off his brow and the dried blood on it. "Ghalion, we're missing Colm, Prince Isaac, and their friends. I'm guessing their still at the inn," Albert said calmly, awaiting a reaction. While waiting, Albert thought about the memories seen so far, I wonder what mine will be, he thought happily.

Kirza rose, still trembling, hismouth and nose having small trails of blood flowing downward on what seemed to be perfectly normal skin. Around him, however, lay a pile of dead skin, scales, and blood. His body ached, sore from the fact that he had just completely shed his outer being. He shook his head groaning, he hated to admit it, but at the current moment, he was weak.

He slowly walked over to his armor rack where he had quickly thrown his suit of armor while in the midst of sheding his skin. He clothed himself with his normal undergarments before putting on his suit of armor, tying his sword to his left side, his shield strapped to his left arm and his helmet being carried under his right arm.

He opened his door wearily. He hadn't finished shedding, wanting to leave before the night was over, and still hadn't completely regrown his new hide. However, that would regrow on its own, no matter what he was doing. He shook his head, beginning to gain a headache from his past several hours of pain.

He moved as quickly and quietly as he could, moving for the ships deck, which he arrived at before long. He looked down both lengths of the armada before laying his helmet atop his head and sprout his wings out from his back, jumping up from the ship and flying out word. He wished he could carry them in the twilight of his mist, but he wasn't strong enough for such a task, and such a number of people. Colm caught up with the grroup and settled into the rythmn (sp) of the walk. Alice was surprisingly strong and her magical grip on Isacc never faltered once. He turned around and decided to check whether they were being followed. He gripped his memory harder with his free hand and tried to will it to grant him his old abilitys he had with the wolfs back.
He felt his nose strengthen and willed for the power to stop. He didn't need any more right now. His super sensitive nose picked up all of the scents coming from Koha and traced any that were moving towards them. He picked up some useless scents such as a drunken walking towards the gate and the smell of bread wafting towards them. However the last scent made him sniff harder. it was of blood and sweat. It was growing stronger quite fast so it wasn't injured. Maybe an ally who was covered in the enemies blood? Or perhaps the opposite way around.
He ran to the front of the group and stood beside Ghalion. At first he didn't know how to speak to him. The flash-back earlier confused him. Eventually he said quietly, "There is something i want to check out back in Koha, it won't take me long and i will definately come back, i won't leave Alice and Isacc with a bunch of strangers. Please make sure they stay safe till i get back."
He felt rude not waiting for an answer but the smell was already near the gate. he ran back and waited pearched on a fallen tree trunk. he was getting worried now that the smell was closer, it seemed to be rising too? Why did he bring Neimi, that was plain stupid.
He saw something in the sky not far off. he walked into the middle of the road and waved his free arm. he just hoped it was an ally, or he was pratically screaming 'i'm here shoot me'...

Kirza looked down for a moment, the wind hitting his face was causing his eyes to water and they needed to be left out of the wind, if only for a moment. Looking down, he noticed a small speck, seeming to motion toward him. He stopped as quickly as he could, descending slowly as he stopped.

He landed a few yards in front of the man who had been waving upwards, sweating and breathing hard. He slowly walked over to him, meeting him as he approached as well.

"Have you seen a twilight vampire?" Kirza asked before any names couldbe exchanged. He continued to sweat, which helped to carry the small streams of blood from his mouth and nose...

Something wasn't right. Akira felt it in his being. he smelt blood and heard the sweat drop from someone body. His wolf senses were at at least 50% due to the fact of the half moon that shined bright in the night sky. Akira turned around as he looked down seeing the one known as Colm talking to someone. That someone was Kirza. Akira closed his eys as the wind began to send his message to the others. The wind told them of the enemy closing in on Colm.Akira grinned as he looked around waiting for Ueki to burst from the ground or from the sky within the moment.

Markus followed Colm and Alice wherever they went, melding with the shadows.

"She's got firefly magic," MArkus gasped as a small courier hawk perched in his arms. He slid his written report inside the couriers pouch and let the bird go.

"I've to bring her this message somehow."

Flagrare looked at the ground as he always did, dragging the massive blade of his poleaxe behind him, like a great weight, a his poleaxe behind him, like a great weight, a burden. Or perhaps... maybe... it was it that dragged him along, it that impelled his every move, it that demand him to tithe his body away and to give up his sanity. Or not. It was impossible to tell. All that could be determined was that the blade of the poleaxe made a horrendous and ear splitting moan as it was dragged across the ground. A wail of impedding time. That sound that one would hear if he or she were to listen very carefully to a cloak. For it was the gears grinding themselves unto oblivion.

Colm was getting better at noticing important things. he noticed as a man holding a hawk ran past silently on the side of the road towards the rest of the group. he noticed Akira tense as if waiting for something and most of all he noticed how the man stood infront of him held none of his old malice or anger, so Colm let his hightened sences drop.

"I am with Ghalions group. if you want to see him i want you to tell me something, i don't want all of the details. i'll listen to them later. however i want to know, simply, us... or lesternia?"

Colm waited for his answer, depending on what he said depended whether he let this man pass towards the group...

"Good Lord!" Markus gasped as he made out one of the silhouettes. "Commander Kirza?"

He looked at Colm who looked pre-occupied by Kirza's sudden appearance, and then Alice who was at a good enough distance to slip the message through.

Markus opened the letter just to make sure.

The message reads:

I know who you are,
Lure the wolf-prince out in the open,
I will be waiting.

Markus folded the small piece of paper and decided to Rush it in. He summoned a small centipede and placed the parcel beneath it's belly. He whispered something to it as he let it go towards Alice.

"My mission is complete," He whispered unto himself. "But why is Commander Kirza here?"

His curiosity made him stay. Watching. Waiting.

Akira began to get serious. For one when Kirza landed one of the people with them seemed to get alittle to tense. Second kirza didnt attack off the back and is alone. Third Akira didnt feel right sense they came to Koha. Akira's senses were going wild and all he could do was ignore them. Akira looked back toward Muramasa to see if his Demon senses were acting up. To his thankfulness he semed to be on high guard. Akira slowly turned his head back to Colm as he and Kirza spoke. Akira lossened up and stoo with his arms crossed. He exhaled before closing his eyes. He exhaled again and smelled and heard everything around him. he slowly opened his eyes and they were as cold as ice.

Kirza slumped down to one knee, his body becoming overexerted from all the work he had put it through for the past day. The fact that he didn't finishing shedding didn't help much either. His body began to tremble, making Kirza more angered...making him feel...weak.

He slammed his fist against the ground before coughing up a small amount of blood and wiping it from his chin, looking up.

He laughed slightly, his voice shaky underneath the pain.

"Well do I really look like I'm ready to fight?" he said, smiling to try and hide some of the pain. "But if I must answer you...I cannot say I am with you, but I most definently am not with Lesternia any longer."

He coughed again, another small amount of blood coming out. He wiped away the blood with a shaky hand before looking up again.

"Just take me to the vampire...the one you call Ghalion. I promise you no harm...."

Colm reached forward and helped Kirza up. He looked in the direction of where he thought Akira was and shouted, "Would you mind not letting the little sneak escape?"
He was sure Akira wouldn't have let the spy escape anyway, but it couldn't harm to check. He held Kirza up with his free arm and set off back towards the group.

He softly said as they hobbled along, "Oh and if your not with Lesternia, trust me, you're with us..."

Akira didn't move a muscle. He seemly looked Kirza over before walking past him and then walking behind them."Spy...." Akira cared nothing of a Spy this didn't concern him. He watched and waited Intel the right time to strike. Akira looked at the small amount of blood on the ground from where Kirza spit. He growled and kicked some dirt over it to hind its smell. Any good tracker could use the blood to track the group. This made Akira uneven. Kirza could have faked and spit up blood to make them think he was with them. Or he could be telling the Truth. Anyway it went Akira no longer felt safe, but he never really felt safe. The spy could stay along as they wanted to. Akira finally looked up and Ghalion and with the power of wind and spoke. A sweet melody traveled up the group into Ghalion's ears.
"You have someone here to see you Ghalion......" Akira shook his head as he felt the suns rays from behind. it was still dark but Akira could always tell when the sun was coming up but the increasing heat. It would be morning in a few hours. Akira was losing his Wolf powers. When the sun reaches its max Akira would return to his human form. He didn't want anyone to see him. So he would disappeared and travel far behind the group so no one could see him. Akira cursed everything that happened to the group early and cursed the fact that he was on high alert.

The centipede found its way towards alice unnoticed. The message has been delivered. But despite his success he fell aghast. Did he hear commander Kirza right? "Definitely not Lesternia any longer..."

THe words echoed through Markus's mind as he dashed to inform Fu about Kirza's Defection.

But halfway through the camp he saw Fu standing nearby, covered with soot and blood. Bloodlust still clear in Fu's eyes as his pupils relaxed from using his Vampiric eyes. A whole town, Decimated and left lifeless because of one man...vampire's rage.

Markus stopped and bowed low. He felt Fu's gaze pierce through him. "M'lord," Markus gasped. "I've got grave news."

"What is it?"

"Commander Kirza...He's defected to the enemy..."

"Does anyone else know?"

"Only me m'lord, and you."

"Good..."

"M'lord?"

"Now that the Gen'ei clan is lost, Theous can control me no longer. I assume you would still come with me against the Lesternians?"

"Yes m'lord..."

"But first I must test their skills if they truly stand a chance against Theous himself."

Fu told Markus to gather up the remainder of their crew as fu prepares for an ambush attack upon the chosen...

"To Tsubana...That's where they're heading."

Colm shouted at the group to slow down, a few turned but before they could come back and help Alice pointed at them and brought them closer with firefly magic. Colm didn't like the look on her face, it wasn't that of a small sweet little girl.
they landed in front of Ghalion and Colm almost dropped Kirza.
"Ghalion, this man wants to speak with you. i will vouch for him if he tries to do any mischief."
Colm was sure that Kirza was now with them. or at least not with Lesternia...
Alice picked up the small bug and smiled, for someone her age she shouldn't have been able to tell what the bug really was. She lifted it and ripped off the note, so somebody did know...

Blood. It was far from them but the smell still reached Akira nose. It was that good. Akira smelt the blood and his fangs slowly grow outward. no No he could let his wolf instincts lose control of his humanity. Akira allowed the memory;s of his mother and family to surge into his mind. This caused his wolf like manners to fade back into dormancy.

Fu's body trembled with excitement as he drew closer to the ambush point near the borders of Tsubana, he will fight alone, his 120 crewmembers are to attack from the back, while two of the elite groups (40 elites each) will attack from both sides of the road.

Commander Kirza is with them, Fu thought. Theous will send Ueki to hunt him down after his mission. I'm sure of it. The wheels of fate...begins...

Muramasa noticed the smell as well. He looked as Akira was going berserk and then normal again. Muramasa growled under his breath as the smell of the enemy drew closer. he grinned then turned his head to Ghalion. he jumped and soared over the group landing soundly behind Akira. His demon senses were at half if that was what he thought. Muramasa shook his head as he walked in front of Akira.

OOC: Sorry, I was up north away from the internet for a few days. So I'm back now.

Ghalion heard both speak, and narrowed his eyes as he would look back.
"Bring him, and be sure to keep yourselves sharp to what's about you."

He closed his eyes as he would wait for the one he fought earlier was on his way. He could feel it, sense it. There was enough to be done and at that point one member was missing.

Seneth sighed as Ueki was taking his time and the Prince was growing impatient. Leaning against the hull of their vessel still at the attached bridge between the Armada and his own ship, his eyes leered around, his blue skin shifting into the shape of a shadow like creature.

He was a shape shifter, after all.

OOC: I'm a bit rusty at the moment and tired. Sorry.

Kirza stood, slightly pushing Colm away from him, not in anger but in spite of the fact that he needed to be carried. He looked up, still breathing hard, but feeling somewhat recovered from not having to walk up to the man.

"Vampire...I know we have had our differences in the past, but I can no longer fight for Theous and his ways. You were right. He is a selfish man who wishes only for power."

Kirza breathed in deeply, finding it hard to admit to his wrongs.

"I wish to fight for your group now...anything to destroy the Lesternian army. Take my offer as you wish, but i promise you i will do your group no harm."

He sniffed the air for but a moment before catching the all too familiar scent of who may have been his only friend within the Lesternian army...Fu.

"No.."

He said, attempting to straighten himself while turning around partly.

"No, they came already? And why him?"

He sighed, shaking his head as he turned back toward Ghallion.

"They have set an ambush for us. I cant count how many, but i do know who the leading commander is. Leave your men here, ill go ahead and try to speak to him."

Kirza turned again, beginning to walk the best he could toward Fu who was now, unfortunately, one of his foes.

Akira watched Kirza,Ueki wasnt anywhere to be found. With the enemy coming,Akira step forward before stopping. he was one of the Chosen and couldnt leave the group. With the sun rising in a few hours Akira was slowly losing his wolf power. He would be no good going with him so he just watched. he didnt care about Kirza he cared about destroying the army. With them out o fthe way they could finish this journey and he could go back to his family.

Flagrare looked like he was dozing standing up while all the other jabbered around him... his head was rolling back and forth against the shaft of his poleaxe and his eyes were closed but he never slept so this instance, as all others before it, was just an illusion. The habitual action of feigning sleep he had taken to doing for no other reason then it brough him comfort. He did not know why. Perhaps it could be said that it was his minds rememberance of sleep, of those times when it had been a requirement, that made him feel such well-being from the action. Or perhaps it was the shutting off of outside stimulus and being left solely to his own mind that brought him the contentedness. He would never know... for he would never remember it.

His eyes slide, lethargically, open and his massive, pupil filled, eyes rolled across his face. He then closed his eyes again. And continued his habits.

Colm didn't mind being pushed away, he knew all about pride from his time with the wolfs. He listened intently as Kirza spoke, then smelt around for the scent of the army, he found it quickly. "We can't let Kirza go alone, one, they might know he deserted, which is bad enough. However what if this is a trap? We can't let Kirza meet with the enemy alone as we can't be sure what will happen. One of us will have to go with him..."
Colm looked around hoping for someone to volunteer, Kirza was getting further ahead. He said, "I'll go, since i vouched for him, he's my resonsiblity." And with that he turned around and ran after the helpful traitor...

Alice giggled, when this group reached the army she would attack from behind. If she could get rid of this troublsome group she would be free to summon the Fiend, then take over any part of the land she wanted.

Alice was young, but ambitious...

Muramasa ran after Colm. If they attack Kirza and Colm would die. He couldn't allow a chosen one to die. As he past Akira he looked at him and grinned before ran directly behind Colm. He wasn't running at his full speed but Kirza was still aways ahead of them. He lowered himself to the ground and was a burst of speed, closed in of Kirza. He slowed down once he was directly beside him. Kirza smelt like blood. It covered his body. Muramasa had never tasted Dragon before. He shook away the thought and continued to run.
