I've started this thread for Ninja Scroll, because no one else has.

Ninja Scroll to me, is one of my all time favorite feudal era anime next to Naruto :cool: . And i just want to know, what other AF members think of the ninija scroll saga?.

ive watched the movie and the series, but havent heard about the resurrection O,o gotta dl it right away.

it surprises me that so few anime watchers are known of the ninja scroll. it was the very first anime i watched :P and i liked it. jubei is just so cool :P

yea usually alot more people have seen it, i acctually think its a bit overrated couse in all other forum/chats it has been mentioned, it has been named as one of the best series ever, but its a good series, nothing special in my opinion tho, but defenitly worth checkin out if you like feudal era animes

Ninja Scroll was the first ever Anime movie for me. I think I saw it on showtime or some other pay channel when I was younger

I really didn't like it, but I'm not sure why. I believe I only saw Resurrection, maybe that has something to do with it.

This is a great feudal era anime, I like to hate the the bad buddha guy from the eps. Just cause he's so cool looking and he has that huge ship that took out all the people in the sea around it.

The movie was awsome but NS ressurection was horrible I hated especially when that guys finger gets cut off at the end just desturbing.(if you have seen the show you know what I mean) Dont know about the series havent seen it.

The movie is really cool, it is just a good old fashioned violence/sex anime that really left me very impressed now everything else they did with it wasn't as good.

Ninja Scroll is the best ninja/feudal or whatever anime series/movie/well...whatever. The movie is a classic and NSTV is the sqweep.

Finally, somebody who mentions an anime to rave about! Kudos!

o god i saw this movie in 5th grade and it was the 1st anime movie that i saw that had blood&gore and cussing lol good times gooood timess

I've only seen the movie, my sister got me the movie as a gift for Christmas last year, and it's pretty good. I mean there's alot of blood and violence which is always entertaining, but I don't think it's as good as people make it seem.

I saw Ninja Scroll a while back, didnt really see what the big fuss was about, havent seen the series but the movie was nothing special, my opinion samurai X would be the better choice

Despite my newly discovered hatred towards feudal anime,shows such as Roruni Kenshin,Bakumatsu Kikanetsu Hirohanihoheto and Ninja Scroll are remained good for me... <3
Now,for answering the thread:

I've watched Ninja Scroll saga,yes,I loved both,the series and movie...
Very good,nice movements and nice,detailed animations...
Storyline isn't the best,but it's good enough...
But,the Ressurection was a mega let down...
I really disliked it >.<

I got the movie a while back..... Didn't really get too interested in it, so I didn't watch the full thing. After reading this I may whip it out of its case again though, go see what all the fuss is about ^.^

I have just recently seen the movie. I was unaware that there was an actual series to it. I will have to go check that out.

One of my friends let me borrow the movie and I have to say I enjoyed it. I am not usually into the Feudal era, but Ninja Scroll was good. Great balance of killing and sex. Well, there wasn't a lot of sex. She kind of died didn't she? And as far as I can tell, there was no necrophilia going on there.
