Elfen Lied (My First Wallpaper)

Ok, this my first wallpaper I ever made, but I have photoshop experience. I am new to this forum :D First thread and first post :D

2. Not a Forum newbie

Anyway, for the wallpaper ... the BG is nifty, but the right char stands out a bit too much.
Also, your signature on the wall is kinda big ... make it that's covered by the taskbar ;)

Well this wall takes a long time to load. (Well, on a school computer I'm using right now.) Apparently, I can't really help yet because the wireless connection is more like a piece of trash to me right now. (It won't connent me to the internet.) But what I can tell you is that wall is going to be good.

Are you sure you are looking at the wallpaper correctly because I don't see how it is pixelated? Or I'm just missing your point.

The wallpaper looks nice. I like the background along with the coloring. The only thing i have noticed is the eye you used looks blurry and thats why they say it looks pixelated or thats my guess. other then that it looks pretty good.

The reason could be that I made the eye transparent corresponding to the bloody background may have made it look blurry. I maybe wrong though so if this is the case then I will make my next wallpaper better with this helpful tip.

It's okay. The colouring is well blended and not too sharp. Overall, it's a fine job.

Haha I c... Well I have been quite busy lately and I have been working on my site for quite a while. Working on a new layout and such. So if I ever do get the time I will make a new wallpaper and it will be my second lol.

I don't know, a layout is pretty much the same as designing anything else only, you have to create boxes or w/e for content.

Nice work on the wall - I like it. I'm not sure why people are saying that the image on the right is pixellated - if that's the one everyone is talking about, the quality actually looks really good to me on my screen when I view it at full. The eye in the background is a bit blurred, but it fits with the red background, so I think that's okay. The text at the bottom right is a little big, I would make it smaller, but other than that, I really like the wall. I hope you post more of your work! XD

Thanks, it might be because most people are using Internet explorer and it resizes the images after it is complete. I don't have the problem I run on a Mac with Safari 2.0 as my browser.

I would really appreciate it if anyone that have used my wallpaper as their background to PM or just a reply stating so:laugh:

I created this nearly 2 and half months ago, this wallpaper was made completely from my own style.

EDIT: Now that I look at it; 04-12-2007 it was actually 5 months ago.
