Irish Fun

Ok, I decided to make a COMPLETLY vector wall with an Irish theme (since St. Pattie's Day is comming up) and this is what I have so far (see attached). Im sure theres something I can do to improve it, so Im asking for advice, criticism and comments.

Maybe if I didnt use a clipart pot of gold?

Get rid of the pot of gold, and add shadows/highlights to everything in the wall, it looks too flat now. Try using gradients for sky/etc. too, and don't duplicate the same cloud 3 times D:

Yeah, I second the ideas of MuZ0NaZ.

I'd only add drop shadows to the clouds, though. Maybe to the chara, but I'm not sure that would work well. The rainbow looks fine.
A slight gradient (the blue you currently use at the bottom and a slightly brighter one at the top) instead of the single color fill would probably look better.
The shading and higlighting of the chara is sufficient imo. More would only ruin the style of the wp. Slight shadows and higlights on the clouds couldn't hurt though.
And yes, get rid of the pot of gold. It doesn't match the style of the rest of the wp. Better draw one from scratch.

Lastly, I think the balance of the wp isn't perfect too. The lower third of the wp looks a bit empty. I'd move the pot of gold a bit higher and make the green lower border about 2-3 times higher. Maybe add some text to that area, but be sure to use a font that matches the style of the wp.

Anyway, it's quite good already, but not yet perfect.
