Norris Packard and Shiro Amada. Two mobile suits of comparable ability without relying on 'God moding'. The fact that the fight ended in such an awesome manner (Packard sacrificing himself to achieve is original objective)

Heck, Packard rips a new one in the whole fight and had he chosen to could have outright KILLED the main character.

I have no opinion on this one... I like almost all the fights no matter in Wing or Seed (I kinda remember about Char, but I think I'm too 'small' at that time to even know what is Gundam... lol...)

Gundam W fights have a part that sucks, which is how they press beam sabres on eachother for like 20 seconds and start pointless arguments about how to fight to achieve peace.

SEED ones have a whole bunch of unecessary poses.

The old Gundam and Zaku has its nostalgic charm but to some people the animation quality might be too poor.

I prefer Nu vs Sazabi final fight (among existing battles), Amuro and Char are having a descisive battle and constantly arguing about eachother's ideals, but they don't do those retarded Gundam W sabre presses or those retarded brag poses like in SEED (or in W every time Heero shoots the TBR with that unecessary Wings flappiness crap), everything is perfectly fluent. The graphics are decent enough too.

As for fictional battles, I'd like to see V2 AB vs Strike Freedom (V2 Gundam was the strongest unit in G Generation SEED, exceeding all SEED MS in their own debut), or B Gundam vs Destroy (hell yeah B Gundam!).

Under 3 Minutes, not 2. That scene was a plagiate of 0079, when Amuro eviscerated a whole squad of Rick Doms that took their time to surround him and zero in and the Zeon Captain went like "we haven't even fought for 3 minutes!" (the line that gets reused in GSD). Kira epic phails because Amuro was using RX-78-2 and neither had Super DRAGOONs nor 2 Beam Rifles to speed things up with, he ran out of ammo after the fight (the unit was to its limits, at such piloting ability).

If I take a look at the gundam metaseries (which I have watched), the best battle is the Strike vs Aegis from Gundam Seed Destiny.

hmmm, i loved the last fight between amuro and char aznable in the 0079 era, so far it's my favorite because it went from fighting in mobile suits to guns, to swords

@B_Gundam: and that was one of the coolest fights as well, when amuro took out the doms i mean, what made the original so good is that he had pushed the gundam to its limit, and then had to have the gundam heavily modified for space, so that it wouldn't limit him
