Here's my GU wallpaper

Okay, when I first got photoshop 7, I mainly aimed for making wallpapers, but so far I have mainly done sigs, (which I have a thread for those too) but I have done a few wallies. So far, I know they probably not the best, but I still hope you will like them, or at least be merciful.
So here is the .Hack//GU wallpaper I did awhile back, and have had in my image host thingy.

EDIT: The thumbnail doesn't seem to work right, so lets see if this works.

Well it looks like I've found something for you to do *chuckles*. I dont' know how you can be bored. But a larger image would be good for those short sighted people like myself who still don't see so well hehe. .hack//sign is a good topic, can't wait to see a bigger version *grins*.

I like it, the background looks simple (it might not be, don't shoot me lol), which doesn't subtract from the characters, it works for me...but I really like that Akira one in that same link hehe.

Nice start, but it still has some room for improvement.

I don't like the background pattern to much, it distracts from the charas. I'd let it fade a bit into the black.
I'd also make the front chara quite a bit bigger, thus making it the focal point of the wp. I think he gets a bit lost down there in the corner.
Lastly I'd make the text 100% opaque, it gets lost in the bg with the transparency. And maybe add some glow or border effects or something similar to it to make it a bit more interesting.

I really like the choice of your source images, the colors and expressions of both work really well together. The color of the glow harmonizes with the color of the text. And the opacity of the bg chara is chosen quite well.

Anyway, you have something nice going there, improve it a bit and it could become really great.

Why thank you all for the comments. I'll try to make improvements when I can. The background took awhile since I had to create all 3 layers. But I wanted to replicate something from .Hack//Roots so. Like I mentioned though, I really haven't done much with wallpapers. I have done WAY more with sigs.

I think it looks nice~ The glowing layer around the characters looks very cool. I just don't really like that hexagonal thing in the background, doesn't seem to blend well nya~
