What does Gundam Seed Destiny Special Edition content?

Well sorry for asking this but I kinda get confused because I can't find much answer to this.

Is it the continue of Destiny?

No. It's to more like a 4 part mini-series version of the TV series with usual new footages, emerging the ending with the Final PLUS, editing out the non-essential parts of the TV and more new Ending Themes to go with it.

It's like watching the whole series with only 1/4 in it.

However, there's a sequel in a movie format called Gundam SEED: the Movie which not to be mistaken with Gundam SEED Special Edition
