FMA Manga

I know I cant be the only person here who reads the Full Metal manga. So if you do read it I would like to get your opinions on it. How far have you gotten in the manga? Do you preffer the manga or anime storyline?

I always prefere anime...But manga is quite good,I bought it,I'm reading it on classes if I'm not sleepy...
But I have only first two volumes... T.T
But I'm downloading the rest...

I've read up to book 10, and I think the manga storyline is better than the anime storyline

i like the manga story line a little bit better cuz it's more exciting! plus, they have those little extras at the end of the story. Hilarious! yea, i'm up to 10, but in korea they're up to 15 already!

I like the homunculus in the manga better. in the anime Envy turns into a dragon. In the manga he turns into a...a....thing lol. Way scarier than the dragon.

I've read all FMA mangas so far and everything in manga is better than in the anime. Atleast I think so.

The manga is currently at volume 67. When Lt. Colonel Hughes died in the anime they made sure you know that he died because he found out something important. In volume 67 they explain exactly what it is that he found out. Plus the manga gives you a lot more information on other characters like Hawkeye.

I'm beginning to collect the raw tokubon books (graphic novels)...I loved the anime but the manga just has so much more to it. It's story is more plot twisted and it's characters are more loveable. x)

I got pretty far in reading it-but I can't find any scanlations past chapter 61...Hence why I'm getting the raw manga. There's up to 16 raws out now...and I guess I'll have to translate the ones I haven't read myself when I get them.

I like them both. It's hard to compare them to each other because they have two very different storylines, though I must say I am enjoying the manga because I am up to book 11 and have no clue how the story will turn out in the end, it will be a total surprise for me and I like that instead of knowing how it ends because I saw the anime.
