Out of all the transfprmations of the Saiyajin bloodline, I'd have to say that ssj1 was the greatest.

Ssj2 was a wholesome sequel to the first, believable.
Ssj3 was stretching it a little,
Ssj4, the line was crossed.

Dragon Ball GT was just aterrible series with nothing new to encorporate into the series. Through much begging, DBGT was set to work on, without Akira Toriyama writing the scripts. That's their fatal flaw.

I'm a fan of Toriyama's work, but low and behold, I hated DBGT's storyline.

That is actually true in a fan series known as "Dragon Ball AF". The series is incredibly stupid though, because just about everyone on the show fuses and becomes more powerful than god. They create red-haired evil Saiyans and everything. It's really all just one big fantasy for DBZ fanatics.
They go all the way up to a stupid-looking SSJ10. But the SSJ5 looks pretty cool.

I agree with both of you, seeing as how you both said the same basic idea. The SSJ was amazing the first time, and when you see SSJ2, it was great, as Sakabato said, believable. But once they hit the Buu saga, they were only making things bad by giving fans more of it and making the SSJ's gods with limitless power, but, I did like Super Vegetto. Now, SSJ4...that doesn't even deserve to be canon, GT really should never have been made.

I think they all should have kept it to SSJ, the first, for the sole purpose of keeping the whole show much shorter. It's not that I don't like DBZ, so don't get me wrong; I just felt that the whole saga went on forever when there was little new material. If anything, they should have left us at the Android-Cell Saga and not bothered dragging on to the point of EVER possibly creating DBGT. In this case, I guess SSJ2 made sense, but I still think it just opened gateways to trouble and a much lengthier series.

I admit, Videl was pretty great. She's the only reason I watched any further.

I dont like super saiyan it pisses me off for some reason. I mean he's already ten times stronger then a human and can fly what more power can he ask for? Plus the blonde hair and blue eyes is so not his style.
