alright guys this is the big question of all. who is the strongest hero or villan. i don't car who it is. or what saga they are from. i am on the search for the strongest person (by them selfs (with no ones help)) in the dragon ball univers. they can be from dragon ball, dragon ball Z, or dragonball gt. now start the contest.

Actually, your power level at the time of the fusion has to be the same. Trunks had to adjust his power level in order to fuse with Goten because he was a little stronger. Just because you have the same SS level does not mean that your strength is equal. SS2 Goku is stronger than SS2 Gohan despite Gohan being the 1st to reach that level.

Cell Saga was right after the Android Saga (the boy & girl androids 17 & 18) and is basically from the time that Cell appeared to the time that he gained hie "perfect" form and was defeated by Gohan. This was before the Majin Buu Saga and Dragonball GT.

Even if 2 sayins are at the same sayin level (SS, SS2, SS3, SS4) it doesn't mean that they are equally strong. For instance both Vegita and Trunks were able to achieve SS but I think most would agree that Vegita is the stronger of the two even before he could go SS2.

When Gohan defeated Cell he was at SS2. At the time he was the ONLY one who could achieve that level. Neither Goku, Vegita or Trunks could reach that level and at the time only Goku knew that Gohan could get that strong (because of their training). So Gohan was the strongest because he was able to go to a level that the others could not yet achieve.

However, at the start of the Majin Buu saga when Goku came back from the dead (yet again) and Vegita made his appearance they revealed that due to their training, they were able to achive SS2 as well. But even though they all achieved the same level, Goku and Vegita constantly trained so they became stronger than Gohan (since he pretty much stopped training).

b.t.w....when Gohan became "mystic saiyan" his power level sky rocketed...in his base form his power was equal to Goku in ssj3 form..thats why after getting trained from elder kaioshin Gohan is rarely seen in his super saiyan form...

well goku is the strongest hero but i dont know who is the strongest villan frizza too like 10 episodes to beat but didnt cell and boo too? if i had to pick it would probally be frizza as the villan not because he is poverfull but because hese came back like 3 times first he survived the spiret bomb then he survived the destructo disc and the only reason he died is cause the planet blew up but then after that he still came back as meccha frizza.

Well the strongest hero is Goku for sure. Though SSJ4's the strongest stage, I won't say he's the strongest hero, because I believe Goku never actually killed anyone while at it.
Gohan could have been better, but if it's not my mistake he wasn't all that into the fighting part of him. He rather be more brains than muscles. I do believe that if he was submited to every training Goku was he would have become really strong!
GogetaSSJ4 of course is stronger than SSJ4Goku, but I don't see him as an actual hero, but more like a fusion of the hero and one of his mates. 'Cause that way we would have to talk about Gotrunks or Gotenks or whatever it is you call him, 'cause hey, he reached SSJ3 and was able to kick Boo's a** though he didn't come out as the winner..(he was young naive and totally arrogant!:p but that's part of this fusion as gogetaSSJ4 was arrogant as well)

The strongest villan... Boo was very strong and hard to defeat. They had to ask New Nameck's shenlong (the nameck dragon ball's dragon) to recreate planet Earth and resurrect everybody so that they would give their energy for Goku to create that Genki Dama thingy.(not forgeting everything they went through before reaching that part)
Also Baby was very hard to defeat... Let's not forget he's who brought SSJ4Goku to life!:p

Hey remember in Dragon Ball GT when Goku's in that Sugoro's game dimension where he has to win the game so that he could go defeat Baby Vegeta? One of the challenges was for Goku not to cry, and after the onion part, Chichi appears with this giant needle and she was mad like hell!! Man even I would be scared to death with that image!!!

Chichi is a good contestant for this "who's the strongest on DB series". She really is scary and the worst is that as she's our hero's wife, he would't hurt her at all. And if she died, she would be revived by some shelong... She's indestructible!

Now you kids are being silly. There is no such thing as being the strongest in the DB world. Every time the heroes reach a new level of power there's a villian who is 10x stronger than them so they have to reach an even higher power to combat the foe. And it keeps happening over and over again, so you might as well rule the DB world since it has a never ending power struggle.

Power and strenght are not only about the muscles. The mind, will to fight, stamina, etc, are all things that can make one stronger, and that's exactly what made Goku always be victorious. His will to win to protect others always convinced him never to quit and that's his true strenght! Goku all the way!

And that's true,the bad guys come,their not strong enough to beat the bad guys,and others come and help,then they win.I found that out when playing all the stories in Tenkaichi,I didnt even know half the movies existed!XD.But none of the bad guys could beat SS4 Gogeta,so techically,he's the strongest.

The strongest of ALL TIME is most likely SS4 Gogeta, because... well, he is a superior force. The second is a tie between Kid Buu and Omega Shenron. KB can rebound a Spirit Bomb and rip the fabric of time and space by screaming. Omega can do some other stuff which is cool as well. Bardock is in third, because he can fend off a bunch of aliens WHILE still trying to assasinate Frieza. Krillin gets an honorary mention because he will still fight the strongest enemy, even though he will most likely lose.
