Yeah, it's not a very popular anime/manga. It just now recently came out in America. Only up to book four is out so far, I believe.
It kinda makes you mad in some points. I even had to put the book down.
Anyone else seen/read it?
For those of you who haven't it's basically following the life of a girl named Nana. There are other more intricate deatails, but...that would take time for me to type. And, I'm to lazy.

I've never read the manga, but I've seen the first two episodes of the anime. It looks... all right, I guess. O_O

anime - i started watching a few episodes and it was good but for some odd reason i kinda stopped watching it for awhile...so out of the three media types this would be third on the list that i like...
manga - i really like the manga...and what i've read so far of it. I love Ai Yazawa's work but NANA would probably only be my 3 or 4th favorite from her work. (i really loved kagen no tsuki and parakiss in manga form.) this would be the 2nd form of it i like....not that much in ahead of the anime...but i stil like the manga alil' more then the anime.
live action - i really love the live action. I think they did a great job on the cast and i love the music from this movie. i really can't wait to see the 2nd movie, hopefully it will be good like the first one...although i did hear that they change actor/actress for nana and ren for the 2nd movie...however i still want to see it.

I've both seen (anime and live action) and read Nana and I think it good, but not the best, Hatchi has more issuse then I think humanlly possible and the other Nana is just a bit to normal to fit in with the others who are racked with problems you know. But other then that it's a good manga, but mostly for making you feel better about yourself cause hey my liffe can't ever be as bad as Nana & Hatchi. Can it?

I've only read the manga and I find it interesting. The plot is very realistic, how the relationship of each couple grows. This kind of plot is rarely seen, taking about fate, love, friendship and music.

The anime, the manga and the live action are so cool. I love them all!!!! Ai Yazawa is a excellent mangaka, the story is good and her artwork is amazing! The anime was ok, not so bad. And the live action was...my!!! awesome!!!
Yes, I love Nana.

I've seen the three of them; manga, anime and also movie. But manga, I only read halfway, and anime, not all are sold here. I've seen the movie and I wanna see the 2nd one, but the casts are changed in the 2nd movie.

I've watched the anime up to 39 since I can't find the sub for it :(
But I have to say, I do enjoy how this series doesn't really add pointless filler episodes. It feels like you're pretty much guaranteed some sort of crazy drama everytime.
I had just watched Paradise Kiss before this as well, and I wasn't sure I liked the style of animation, but I've actually grown to love it.
So the live action is good as well? I've been thinking about watching it..just haven't gotten around to it

Not very popular? Maybe not in the states, but it's the best selling shoujo manga of all time in Japan (22+ million copies sold). And in 2005 it ranked in at number one on the Oricon polls out of all other shoujo manga. Seriously, I hope more people in the US take a look at it. It's a fantastic story that contains many different characters with surprising depth. It would be impossible to read it and not find one character to relate to.

I've been reading Nana in Shojo Beat magazine since they started publishing it, but I've never seen the anime, movie or played the game. And just recently realized how much I like that manga, even if the characters do annoy me at times(mostly Nana K.). It's just so realistic, in the way it's drawn, the way the characters act and all the mistakes they make.

I love Nana! I've been reading the manga online. It's a great story with believable characters, and it's surprisingly real and close to how people feel in actual relationships. I hope more people read it, it's worth it.

I've been hooked on the anime ever since the second episode. I loved the first live action movie and can't wait till the second one comes out! Though I have to save up so I can check out the manga and see how that is compared to the anime.
