I would have to go with the Masamune from Chrono Trigger [known as Grandleon in the Japanese version] (wielded by Frog and used to blow a hole in the side of a mountain in order to reach Magus's castle... probably my favorite scene in the game). I guess that isn't exactly anime but a bunch of the character designs in the game were done by Akira Toriyama... so it still ties into anime.

i would be "White Cloud" a RL sword forged by Muramasa. Muramasa swords were said to have evil aura's and were also said to be blood thirsty, cutting their owners if they tried to resheath them without killing. yeah, that or the Hocho Masamune, one of Masamunes few signed works. only a dagger, but REALLY SHARP!

Your blade is not black. You are the blade which would make you black. Though you are not totally black in your shikai form.

I would like to be Saber's(king Arthur's) Excaliber from the anime Fate//Stay Night. Or was tha blades name Caliburn?? Get's confusing in the end. The reason would be that i am invisible :D

I'd have to say Izuru's zanpakuto, raise your head, Wabisuke. Izuru was a fairly forgettable character but his shinkai has a cool effect by itself. His was the the one that doubled the weight of whatever it hit. But if I had my choice it would be a broadsword with that effect.

Guts(berserk), Sansuke's zanbato, Nero's(devil may cry 4) the Red Queen. Nero's just has a nice grip/gaurd/hilt the resembles the grip and brake off of motorcycle handlebars.

:) Same here, I would also pick the Tenchi-ken, because lightsabers can cut through metal.
