Recently I borrowed the Sukisho boxset from a friend of mine. At first I was like, yaoi yaoi yaoi ew ew ew, but after awhile I really started to get into it, (not in a yaio'ish way). I thought it was really funny, it had a great cast and a good story to back it up.

Soon I realized just because it had that yaoi feeling to it it was still a good anime non-the-less. It has the perfect blend of comedy, drama, and romance (which is all yaoi'ish). The only thing I did not like about the anime was I mistook so many of the male cast as woman (talk about freaking out) and I got a little twisted funny feeling when they had those certain "moments".

However I would defenitely recommend that everyone gives this anime a try, rather it be for the comedy of the romance. And trust me, it must be good considering this is coming from a guy who does not like yaoi that much.

But with all that aside, what does everyone else think about the show?

OMG, I love Sukisyo. <3 I've completely forgotten to see episode 12 and 13 on Youtube today. ;-;

Seriously, I just love Sora/Sunao, Yoru/Ran, and especially Shinichirou/Nanami.

Kinda reminds me of Fruits Basket. Funny at first but starts to get angsty in the later episodes, you know?

When I first saw Sukisho in a magazine, I thought it looked cute and had somewhat of a good storyline, but for some reason I still didn't want to watch it. But then my two friends(who I got addicted to shonen-ai) had watched it on YouTube and forced me to watch the first episode...

I really didn't like it at all because it was too shoujo-ish to me and I'm not a fan of shonen-ai/yaoi that's way too shoujo-ish.

Yea, it did remind me of Fruits Basket(which I saw vol.2-3) and since it did, I pretty much knew that it'll end up that way(extremely funny/cute at first, then random angst later). I dislike that.

Yet another thing on youtube i've yet to finish watching. I love how it starts off cute and peppy. Then hits you in the head with the angst stick.
