EichixMitsuki-GRRR HATE HATE HATE *sends waves of hatred towards it* This couple just suuuuucks. I can't imagine anything more boring or more unhealthy. I hate this couple more than any other one. Takuto is such a better choice for Mitsuki that it's sad. I don't care if Eichi is alone-he deserves it for being a perverted prick.

TakutoxMeroko-it's freakin ONE-sided. Meroko annoys the hell outta him the way she hangs all over him and frankly it annoys the hell outta ME too. Plus the fans of this couple are even more annoying than Meroko herself...*ira ira* Plus she's only using him to get over Izumi. Izumi's the one she loves the most. Dur. :glare: The girl can be so selfish and whiny...please grow up Meroko! The twelve-year-old is more mature than you!

ChikanexHimeko- Ughhhh I just DON'T like it. Himeko should have gone with Souma dammit! The way Chikane lusts after Himeko's body is so disturbing and I'm not a huge fan of yuri to begin with. Plus what Chikane DID is so unforgiving. rawr I don't like her at all....

MasayaxIchigo-See EichixMitsuki. Just......GAG. It's boring, way too perfect and....errrgh Ryou is SUCH a better match for her. Masaya's about as interesting as a brick, er no, wait, the brick wins THAT contest.:p

KoutaxYuka-Gag me, they're COUSINS. And Yuka's so damn annoying with her whining and smacking Kouta around that I was practically screaming for Lucy to off the b**ch. KoutaxLucy rocks.:)

One of my least favorite anime couples is Lieutenant Commander Yuriko Star and Captain Justy Ueki Tylor. She's not into letting people into her space and she really hates Tylor's demeanor in general at the begining of the show. It's just out of character entirely for her to be romantically inclined to anyone as irresponsible as Tylor.. not that I think Azalyn was much better for him at all.

Tylor should have gone with Emi and Umi, the cute twins. He'd have to have them both, because they're practically attached and I don't think he'd have any complaints anyway.

Also, even though neither of them were shown as having romantic intrests with anyone as far as I know (I haven't seen the series through, yet), I think that Hana-chan and Uo-chan from Fruit's Basket would have been a great couple. You've got the mysterious psychic and the overbearing yank who are very much inseperable. They already act like surrogate mothers to Tohru and I think they'd make an awesome motherly team! They're good for each other and you know it.

Meiko and Naruma - Look, I know the laws may be different in Japan, but this is more or less borderline paedophilia. Naruma, can't you pick a girl who's in your generation? Basically he did a lot more harm than good in this relationship. That, and the fact that Miwa just rules. (Those who have seen this know what I mean).

Kimagure Orange Road
Komatsu & Kurumi, Hatta & Manami - While it is not overt, these pairs seem to be together in one way or another. Kurumi and Manami could do much, much, much, much better. Hell Kasuga proved a better match in the episode where Manami was disguised.

Tamahome & Miaka - Two words describe this relationship.

Can somebody say... doormat? I think when they designed personality they dropped Belldandy's down the toilet. Belldandy may as well have “Wipe your feet on the way in” branded on her forehead.

This has to be the single most contrived romance I have ever seen. There was no gradual build up of attraction or forming of a relationship. All of a sudden a switch was flicked and they were an intimate couple. It was bland, uninteresting and all round boring. At least when Kira was with Fllay there was the whole fact that she was using him for sex so she could hide her sadness and misery, and the whole emotional manipulation.

Hikaru and Minmay
Another relationship that seemed annoying. Maybe it was the fact that there seemed like no real connection was established between the characters. A switch flicked and it became “Hikaru I love you”!

For God’s sake, she’s a computer. Find a real girlfriend.

Hamel and Flute
Hamel could do much better than that loudmouthed, obnoxious, angsty damsel in distress. He would even do better with his sister.

Sailormoon
Usagi and Mamoru
I’m with Piper on this one. I personally find that Mamoru suffers from a very similar syndrome to Yuu from Marmalade Boy. I call it ‘Jesus Syndrome’. It is a disease that inflicts many characters in Play by Post RPG’s. This disease renders the victim to be incapable of doing wrong. And if they do happen to do wrong, they are good people for doing it.

The fact that Mamoru is in fact, virtually perfect renders the relationship bland and uninteresting. This became even more prominent in the Fifth Season when Usagi gets into a relationship with Seiya. These two far more flawed and compatible personalities managed to provide a more interesting and thoughtful pairing, which was not only a fresh change from the monotony of the previous relationship, but also had an energy that was completely lacking before.

This relationship also comes under the category that Gundam Seed’s did. The ‘where the hell did that come from?’ I know this relationship may have been another one of Hideki Anno’s twisted granting of requests from fans for a ‘real ending’ (Part of the interesting history of The End of Evangelion). But again, the proverbial switch was flicked and two characters were all over each other.

Gundam: Char’s Counterattack
Char and Quess.
Char seems to display a horrible attraction (or possible indifference) to jailbait. He may have been using her for her Newtype abilities, but it seemed like the relationship was too close for its own good.

Any Harem Anime
The Protagonist and the girl that appears in the first episode.
Why do they try and even make it a surprise. Especially when it is as obvious as day whom they are going to end up with. What’s worse is they patronise the viewer with every other girl being a potential hook-up. Of course then they have the overdone dramatic build up with “Whom will he end up with?” when you knew the answer from episode one.

And now for my all time, number 1, most hated couple.

For God’s sake you’re freaking COUSINS! You will create 6-fingered three eyed children. You have no real connection, you’re both obnoxious, and you’re both bland and uninteresting. Just go find somebody else or move too Kentucky. Whichever you want.

Tohru/Yuki, NO!!! Kyo Sohma is heart! Tohru and Kyo are so sweet in the manga, and Yuki and Machi make a good couple anyway.

SasuSaku, erm, no. Just no. =P

Shigure/Akito is a really bad couple too...

Ichigo/Orihime, I think he should be with Rukia. ^_^

Flay/Kira, HATE!!! Him and Lacus go well together.

Also, I wanted Cagalli to wind up with Athrun, not the other girl, whose name I have completely forgotten... Mental blank. >.<

well I can't think of couple's that are in the anime...but I'm glad some didn't:
Tamahome+ Yui= Yui is nasty to Miaka and Tamahome
Usagi+Seiya= I prefere Usagi to be with Mamoru
Miori+Touya= Touya is gorgeous and belongs to Aya
