To girls...it is a dream come true. I love it! All of those animes and then those array of pics, I could dream about them all day if I wanted to lol. But yeah it is hot and they should make more Manga's of it! My collection of them needs to grow really ;_;

Well, yes, I do love shounen, but I don't think it's "hot". That just makes it sound like the only reason why a person would read shounen-ai is for the love scenes, not for the storyline...To me anyway.

Gravitation was my first shounen-ai and it's a very fabulous series. Though the anime sucked really bad...And Loveless is also another favourite of mine. The anime was great, but I need to start on the 2nd volume of the manga. >< I've read/seen alot of shonen-ai/yaoi anime and manga...

I'm quite excited that alot of series(manga in particular) are coming to America. =] I've started collecting a few series so far.

I don't find it hot, Not in the slightest, but I'm slowly respecting the genre for the storylines.

I've read the first volume of "Loveless" and though it kinda makes me feel uncomfortable, I think it's pretty good.

But I doubt I will dive father into the genre, it is good to broaden one's horizons and attempt to look at things from a different point of view though.

Meh, I wouldn't say hot, but I do like shounen and shoujo-ai, because, amoung other reasons, it changes thing up a little. Its different than your normal boyxgirl. And there's something very alluring about the scandal of a same-sex relationship...But, now I'm kind getting off topic...So...yeah.

Yes, shoujo-ai is girl love or "yuri". I don't like it much. Some couples are okay but most of the time it makes me uncomfortable like the way yaoi makes most guys uncomfortable.=/

I beg to differ. I'm not one of those girls who fantasize about boys-on-boys, or girls-on-girls for that matter. I do not think shounen-ai is hot. To some extent, it is cute, but I do not like homosexuality. It has nothing to do with my religion or culture, but my own personal taste.

I love yaoi and shonen-ai very much but usually the plot line itself is the one that draws me in. Some guys find the whole content really inappropriate to the whole traditional love life thing (boy x girl) and same goes for the shoujo-ai and yuri to the girls. The act itself and and the taboo in it draws me to the whole taboo love. So I guess, the suspense and danger is the one that keeps me still intact to watch or read the content of the story. Some men just likes danger, and some just lives by them. ^^

I love shonon ai! But sometimes the really mild shonen ai series can get frustrating, like Kyo Kara Maoh...ugh, you just keep waiting for Yuuri and Wolfram to DO something but their relationship goes basically nowhere.
