Loveless, love it or not?

Okay i am a huge Loveless fan. I read the manga and watch the anime. It's mostly "yaoi" and i am a huge yaoi fan. The 2 main characters a Soubi and Ritsuka, and Ritsuka's brother, Seimei recentlly died so he gives Ritsuka his fighter. You have to watch it or read the manga to get it...

So has anyone else seen it?

I've seen the first episode from the Newtype magazine, its a diffrent storyline I'll give you that. My friends watch it and read it, they say its good but I'm not sure if I should read/watch it..O-o

It's not really yaoi. It's shota/shounen-ai. Shota being the boy love (BL) genre that pairs a young, underaged boy up with an adult. Shounen-ai being litterally translated to boy-love, and being the more "romance" genre of BL that might show kissing and stuff at most. Yaoi is porn. Loveless, as far as I know, is not porn.

But, I have an extreme dislike of shota, which is why I avoid everything Loveless. I'd much rather watch or read something about men who are old enough to get involved in such relationships.

Of course love it! Kio is my fav! He is cute and funny! I like that guy.. And I don't really like Ritsuka.. Anyone know what is really happend to Semei? Ritsuka's big bro? And whaat is Semei really want? And how about the real partner for Ritsuka? The real partner with the same name with him.. LOVELESS.

I've only seen the anime and I thought it was great except for the ending.. but maybe that's because I didn't really understand it ._.

Thats also my opinion great story until the ending. They mess up the ending. The only way they could make up for it is for a next season to come out and explain the ending, making up for it.

I LOVE Loveless! :love:
Got all the dvds and the vols of manga that are out in the U.S.
I can really relate to Ritsuka on some of his issues, so he's my absolute fav character
The ending did leave me wanting more, but it's best that it ended as it did (kinda like a FLCL ending)

I thought it was soooo weird the first time I heard about it... my friend says "two people make up a fighter unit... this guy dies so his fighter is passed to his brother and a big tangle of characters... and suggestive yaoi... ..."
At first she had only JUST introduced me to yaoi... and I had only just met her... so it felt kinda weird... the whole idea... lol... but over the past year ive really grown to love and respect her and saw it in a store one day and remembered that shed recommended it to me... so I bought it... lurves it... but my friend still has the first one so I cant read the second one yet! >.<

<3=Loveless. This series is so.. how should i say, greatness? I love the orginality of it and the issues it stresses are really gripping. Right now i'm waiting on the third book to come to the local book shop and i believe it's in today actually. I'm quite the shounen-ai fan so of course that is a huge plus. I also think it's so cute the way Ritsuka and Soubi get along.. Especially in Book 2 when he kisses the cell phone. Did anyone else just DIE when he did that? I was all, "AWE!!!! ;.;" Yeah, i'm somewhat jealous i can't find a relationship like that, that is if you would call their friendship that.

Something about his hair blending seamlessly with his ears is entrancing. O_o

Muh. I had a bad experience with the manga so didn't get far in that, but watched all 12 epi's of the anime and thought it sucked. It was POINTLESS, unless you take it as a series that explored ONLY a set period of time in a story that had some serious potential. Then it was pretty good, and I really liked the art, anyway.

It's not so much suggestive yaoi as it is suggestive shota.

I think the artwork for the manga and anime is really nice, but I haven't really watched anything passed the first episode and never really read any of the manga... maybe I should sometime.
