K, seeing as how I am completely obsessed with dragons, I love it. It is weird, but in a "not something you see everyday" kind of way. Tag at the bottom is a bit big for my tastes, but other than that, is all gravy baby!

a few things.
It's the wrong size. needs too be at least 800x600...but most people use 1024x768
The details are a little sloppy
I can't tell what the outline is of, but aparantly a dragon from the previous posters claim.
Theres not much value, work on that a bit.
The font in the corner...stay away from weird fonts like Halo and things when signing a wallpaper. Also, put the full web adress for the forum, and more importantly your name.

It is certainly original. I like the abstract bg. It looks like emerald, topaz, sapphire, diamond, and onyx stalactites. I am impressed with the artistic value of the bg! The dragon is barely obtrusive to the bg, which makes one focus on the bg even more. I wouldn't mind framing it and setting it in my room!
But since this is a wallpaper, it would be more convenient to have either less colors or have them blend well with eachother. Or use another method for making the bg's colors call less attention.
This wp fits my tastes very well.
Awesome! :awe:

The first one, I could barely tell it was a dragon. I don't know if it was intentional but yeah. the background looks good though. :)
As for the red one, you really shouldn't have brushed over the main stock. It makes it look real weird imo.

Ok, first of all, the yellow will blind everyone that looks at it. I can't really say how I feel about the wallpaper when I can't even see what's on it but yellow. very bright yellow.

Now, I'm not totally sure on this one, but I believe that there is supposed to be a separate thread for each wall Archangel. This area is a bit different from the test area.
I just thought that you would like to know that before one of the mods get a hold of you.;)

A couple suggestions for you:
1) use something other than Paint. It would improve your graphics a bit (ok, a lot).
2) read some tutorials. there is a sticky in the main AW.com forum that is full of tutorials.

Well here is some cronstructive critiques. I've known you since you first joined the forum, I must say that you seem to have gotten no worse no better. There are severe rutts in your technique where you seem to use the filters and outline blending options all to often leaving your wallpapers, or signatures with a messy prespective. Another thing is that when you blend you either use opacity changes, or you just blend to the point where you lose original color and distiguish between the stock (character) and the background. You should really stop looking into tutorials for things and ask around. Also in doing so learn a few traits to your own.
First - as said before the size is completely off...not only does the background have no relation to the stock but the stock isnt even present and the outline effect is poor. The positive aspects of it is its originality and textures.
Second - The Stock blend is by far poor...though in this one the background is quite good love the trasperant effect of the larger stock its a great techique. but again the outer glow is niether nessasary or attractive
Third - there was very little effort in this...I dont even know how you managed to due this one all it looks like is a color mask on nothing that you did original......

yep it took me like 5 minutes to do that last one. I'm just not as committed as the rest of u guys. Except the sigs i make for myself i rarely spend more than 20-30 minutes with photoshop. I'll work on that. thx bman

WOW, I've been visiting this site for ages and decided to register... and I must say... this wallpaper doesn't look very good. LOL.
But you'll get better once you learn to commit yourself. It took me long times to start getting in the habit of dedication when working on photoshop.
