um...welll......I suppose it'll have to be Suzuka because she's an awesome swordswoman. I found Aisha to be alittle childish, Gene was a drunk and a perv. Melfina...I swear...she HAS to be the secret villian in outlaw star.....everyone who dies...somehow...has their death tied to her. Plus, she can't seem to understand that she's not human, neither can Gene apparently.

You know, I clicked on this thread really fast, because I really loved Outlaw Star, but now that it comes to it, I find it hard to think of a favorite character. When I think about it, it wasn't really any one character over another that I was impressed with, but rather how all the characters complimented each other so well. Jim was the perfect sidekick for Gene, the ship's computer had a great personality, Suzuka was so insular in contrast to everyone else, in the same way that Aisha just went against the grain in a different direction.

If I had to play favorites, I would have to say Suzuka then Aisha. Gene really didn't strike me as all that great a person, and Melfina, when it comes right down to it, didn't have very much personality.
