In case you couldn't tell, the background was inspired by her shirt. The grid pattern was actually more of an accident than on purpose- all I did was rotate a copy of the BG 90 degrees and drop the opacity.
Thoughts on this?

Simple pattern. Colors easy on the eyes. Nice quality character. Logo well done. One thing around the logo bothers me, though it's minimal and it would probably be unnoticeable if the wallpaper wasn't so blown up. Above the "r" in Sister I see an area that's kind of blurry compared to the rest of the grid and I see a tiny circle or spark (pink outline, white fill). Fix that part and I think your wp is pretty much complete. Well, at least IMO.

Well, nice and simple.
The style of the background doesn't really hit my taste but it is quite creative and original.
Maybe try and make the logo another color/pattern, it gets a little bit lost in the background in my opinion.
The original image hasn't got quite the perfect quality for a wallpaper. The lines are not that sharp for the used resolution and you can see some grains, especially at the hair. Tracing and recoloring would make it look a ton better. But of course that's easier said than done. http://animeforum.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
Overall it is a little bit bland for my liking. Maybe add some patterns, forms, lines or brushes to the background.
Anyway, quite nice.

You see, that was my entire point to this wallpaper. There was no need for an overly technical wallpaper. Just something simple that wouldn't make your eyes bleed, something that had just a touch of retro seventies to it and something that wouldn't hide the main character too much. The logo is small and unobtrusive on purpose. The focus of the wallpaper is Chokko, not the logo. Chokko herself is a straight manga scan, raw from the pages itself. A little untouched, a little rough. To compliment the smooth and unobtrusive background.
All in all, thank you so far for the crtiques. Appreciated.
