Oookkaay. So here's the thing. I was bored and wanted to make a Naruto wallpaper. Okay thats all fine and good *looks for render...for an hour, finds a scan, yayness* Heres where the problem comes in. Normal Naruto was all fine and good, but looked boring SO...Redfield had the Idea of trying to make a customized Kyuubi...Well that failed as you will see. The wallpaper itself, I don't know where I'm going, this hole thing was one of those...

Kind of wallpapers. I was kind of like a zombie >_> Anyway, my gut feeling is wrong As the kyuubi aura I made around him
-Blends in with the BG
-Sucks alone

Also, the BG...It's too red, and as much as I love the color red, I can only take so much. It also looks too sharp...and I can't smooth the entire layer pixal by pixal, so...Anyone? =(

Animeforum uploading hates redfield, Anime forum doesn't let redfield paste things into advanced message windows, and since animeforum hates Redfield and his firefox, redfield Has asked Masali to give you this message in his exact words (Yes, redfield is talking in 3rd person) and this tumbnail.

Actually, I find that to be quite decent for the Kyuubi aura. The only things that I could really suggest to improve it would be either to give the aura more of an orangy glowing outline, or to darken the flames in the background. I'm not very experienced in dealing with red overlays(as you can see I mostly work with blues and stuff XD) so I can't give very much advice, but personally I think you should try playing around with some blending or lighting effects on the aura or background. Sometimes you can come up with surprising results ;)

As for the random text on the bottom, I have absolutely no idea what that is for. Just replace it with your signature :P lol I know there's a message in it, but it just seems kinda pointless to me XD.

A suggestion for the scan, try to clean it up a bit. You can see the diagonal/crossed scan lines on Naruto which are -very- noticeable on his head in general. That could probably use some fixing up.

What do you still want? Whining that no one is helping you is not going to get people to want to help you. Did you post an image so that people know who you are talking about? Didn't think so. Please read the rules about wallpaper requests if you want a better response from people. Thanks!

Thanks!What are you talking about...I wasn't requesting anything, I was asking for a wallpaper crituqe, and I did post an image...2 of them. However, animeforum image uploading hates me, as does the ability too copy and paste things into a new topic window, So I just asked Masali too upload it too anime forum for me useing an imageshack thumbnail. But...I never recall requesting anything.

Overall, it is really nice. My main issue with it is that Naruto looks washed out. Now, it wouldn't be a major problem except that you have this really shiny tech stuff next to him. So, it's drawing the attention away from the character and to the tech. If you can somehow get Naruto to be a bit brighter and richer, then things will be fine. If not, then try taking the tech down a notch by making it slightly more transparent.

I prefer the first version of this wallpaper; the white streaks in the second version detract from it. They're also sharper than the left side of the character (his right arm), making the character look washed out.

I do prefer the blue fireball in the second version, though; you've hidden his hand behind it, which makes the fireball appear to be more substantial. In the first version he looks like he's holding a little firefly, or something.

Other than the fireball, I like the first version just fine.
