Well, I haven't made a wallpaper in a LONG time, then my friend made a wonderful CG that I just HAD to make a wally with. So anyways, I'm pretty much done with this one. You guys can critique if you like, but I'm more just sharing this than looking for critique. Spent enough time fixing up a bunch of little mistakes, even though I know there's probably a host of other things that could make it so much better lol. Anyways, I've had mixed opinions about the wings, so I've uploaded two versions, one with and one without wings. If you'd like a larger resolution, I started this in a HUGE size(1760x1320 I believe, or something like that) so just ask for it lol. Anyways, enjoy ^^
Yes I do realize the little + shaped stars are extremely repetitive, but they looked really crappy if I tried to angle jitter them.
Also, please don't use this wally on sites as backgrounds and such. The character is my friend's original CG art, so I don't want to find this somewhere as a webpage background or modified in any way(although considering what's happened in the past, I'm pretty sure it'll happen anyway)
EternalBlue Edit: Friend asked me to take them down, so *poof* lol

mhm ... feathers ... I'm missing them xD ... altho ... not sure if they'll fit.
Maybe also 1 or 2 sparkles on her staff.
Other than that ... you already know my ideas xD (still the yellow and pink were a bit intersting xD)

Very nice. Nice balance of color and proportioning. Question though, would it be okay to use as a desktop wallpaper?

I know you're not looking for a critiuqe, But I give them...Always (I have too, because no one else on this website will except pooks and Xian Pu). A few things.
That gigantic white line behind her...It takes away from background. Also, you can hardly tell the girl has a wing because both are just pure white, so the wing blends in.
The giant spiky ball in the BG(The largest one) doesn't blend in all the way, you can see a clear outline at the top. If I were you, I would feather that just a little bit, but then again thats me.
As for the little sparkles...You said they were repedative because? *I assume from the explination you gave, that they were all in the same position*
Well, thats not true, they can all be in the same position and still look fine, too me...It seems that theres too many of them.
Also, a question. In the very very background you used some brushes...What are they called (I don't know why, but I swear I think I have the same exact ones, or at least something similar)

Yes, yes she does lol. But of course the colour scheme and her staff are quite a bit different.

Also, a question. In the very very background you used some brushes...What are they called (I don't know why, but I swear I think I have the same exact ones, or at least something similar) Thanks for the critique. Although I wasn't really looking for any, it's still helpful in a way. I did notice the blending on that one part, but fixing it made it look very odd for some reason. Personally, and from quite a few of my friend's opinions, they like the white line, looks like a beam of light or something, but it's up to the individual's perspective I guess. Yes I know it detracts from the wings' presence.
Oh, and don't forget me and Wizzy, although I'm not around much, both of us will give critique when we have timehttp://animeforum.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
As for your question, could you be a bit more specific? The location on the wally or shape of what you think are brushes would help me figure out what you're trying to look for. Aside from the stars and the usual photoshop brushes, I only used two other brushes, and the entirety of those two brushes don't even exist on the wally(there is absolutely no area in the wall where the entire brush is present, only little parts of it) Anyway, thanks again for the critique. If you could get back to me on that question, maybe I can help you better.

I have brushes that make the same effect (kind of like the galaxy effect in your sig)

I have no idea how to do wallpapers and don't even have the software to. Plus it looks great just the way it is. And I'm not all that big about customizing sites. No need to worry. Do hope to see some more from ya though.

Hehe, that'll depend on a lot of things lol. Mostly, I do wallpapers when I get inspiration, or when I just really want to.....but that doesn't happen too often. If you look at the last time I posted a wall, that was quite a while ago lol.
