Neon Genesis Evangelion - Rei and PenPen

Hi,

here is the next one up for evaluation.

This time with the well known image of Rei and the most famous anime penguin.

What do you think?

nice one ^^
but i suggest some black outlining cause you can see at some places that rei has been taken out of another picture.

Hm ... extraction needs a bit of work ... I see jagged lines
Kinda don't think that the top and bottom banner color fits with the wall ... or go with blueish or more redish.
Also ... the font/text ... it kinda fits with the top banner .... but it's a no over the char ... or move it somwhere else, or change the font (I'd go with moving) ... suggestion: Make the NGE text smaller, move the "Battle Break" on the top, and move the small NGE somwhere on the top of the "Battle" one ... I'd still go with a different font tho.

I like the concept of having a banner, but the colors and font should be worked on a bit. For colors, pic ones that are a little bit in the character. For example, her eye color, or penpen's collar. This brings the background and the characters together without making the character blend in too much.

Err, I did that. The banner color is the darker red of Rei's scarf, the font color is the color of her jacket.

But there is a lot of that color on her. The key is to get a color off of her that is not there in large amounts. Or, a complimentary color. I just think that there is too much of that red color. But, maybe if it was lighter, it may help.

I think it looks very cool, I'm not an artist either though. But I like it, Eve is a very cool series.
