Okee.. So I'm out of ideas and I do not know what to do next. I know I'm gonna play around with those water droplets on the photos, so no need to comment those.
Someone please post anything useful?
I haven't been wallpapering for so long, I can't even remember the last one I made. So I'm rather rusty at this. ^^;

looks good. Cool effects. A wonderful homage to one of the greatest animes ever written.

.. So much for some help. o_O; I ask for help, not comments. If you're just gonna say "very nice", there is no need to post. v_v; Someone out there with serious answers?

hmm the water droplets on the photos look unnatural, the droplets magnify the part that its on and its kinda roundish....umm i dont know if that made anysense but i hope it helped:)

Ah hai, Gizoku. I've been working a bit with those droplets, and I'm trying to make them look more realistic.
If you haven't noticed, droplets do magnify the part it's on in real life too. ^^; Sometimes, they minimize it. Why, I don't know. I just know it's how it is.
This is the first time I make droplets so, I can't help it. ^^; I'm trying to get better.
Thanks for the answer, though. I'll do upload the updated version as soon as possible.

It's called light refraction <_<
Anyway, I think you should emphasize the effect droplets have on image distortion. Furthermore, remove the fold from Misuzu scan, and don't make the photos drop a shadow unless you really want them to float. Why is there empty white space below?

Anywho, though it's a good homage it's a little too plain. The idea is unique, but it's definately lacking. Maybe if you added some texture to the picture boarders, since they tend to have little dimples on them that give it a rough feel. Also, instead of using young Kano it would've been more appropriate to use Tohno. Or maybe Kamio Haruko. Also, I like how you lowered the opacity for the text, I absolutely love the font as well, but give it a texture, like watery texture to match the water droplets. That would be cooooool.

I am actually one of the less harsh mods on the forum. ^-^; spam is not tollerated on here. If you have an issue with it, bring it up with an admin.
The water droplets are a neat texture, but they are taking away from the font. Why have the font on there if you aren't going to accentuate it? I would bring it out a bit more. As for texture... it might not be a bad idea, but remember to keep the lines clean or else it will take away from the feel of the wallpaper.

You -could- make the actual text -from- water and give it a glow to make it stand out ^^. As said before, need to get rid of the fold in Misuzu's pic, and increase the distortion from the water droplets. Aside from that, I think you should add some sparklies to emphasize the watery affect, but that's just me ^^; Great job so far though :D

Nice composition and nice concept. Especially nice colors in it. The idea of the refractive water droplets is nice, especially the two non-oval ones on the first character's photo. If there's any way to make them a little more refractive, even, that'd be nicer.
Move the water droplet away from the third character's face; it looks strange on her there. (I think the one on her hair is okay.)
There is a *lot* of artifacting around the Air logo in the bottom corner; that needs to be cleaned up a lot. There is also some messy artifacting in the larger solid color areas on all three photos.
One thing that feels odd to me - the background with the water droplets appears to be at an angle, like it's slanted away from me. (It looks like a car hood, in fact.) What would it be like if you tilted the photos slightly back to kind of match the slant of the background? You'd also have to change the geometry of the water droplets on them to match. Not *too* much of a slant, and I don't know if it would look cheesy, but it might be worth a try.
