My friend and I are starting a comic starring us and a couple of our buddies, and the power I have in there is pretty cool:

Blood Manipulation
I can seep blood through my skin and transform it into armour, weapons, etc. My blood solidifies and liquifies at will and is extremely tough. When solid, its like titanium. To prevent blood loss, I automatically produce blood cells at an insane rate when using my power. You could kinda sum it up by saying my blood is like a mix of Spawn's cape and Carnage. (Later on, this power extends to ANY blood around me- meaning I could rip the blood right outta yer body!!! Ehahahahahahahaa!!)

ok I havn't fully dicided. It's between kitty powers wich you gets you the kitty tail and ears wich freaking rock. and you have like uber balance you can jump high and thene theres the claws. The other is super speed. This powers cool cause you could be all like "hmmm I wonder how the weather is in japan. And you could run over there and be like "hey its abit nipy at the moment" and run back all in the space of like 30 seconds. plus the super strength that comes with it cause you cant be fast if your week iot doesnt work. Heh. It happens when they're near. Like, I constantly feel it in my house because three people have commited suicide in my house. (The people who owned it before we did were crazy. They had black paint on my walls with medical tape all over.) So I constantly am aware of their presence. If there is a spirit around, it just happens. o_o; But also, it depends on if that spirit wants to be seen or felt. I don't know, I guess they can block it or something? I believe that they have to want (or not care) to be noticed in order for you to notice them.

Idoll I too have something similar to what you and your family have. But I never really saw one right in front of me. I sometimes feel their presence and I've seen many times something like a black shade from the corner of my eyes. Just in the other day I was in my attic (me and some friends were making a short film) and there was this time that I was there alone when I started listening to some noises and I actually saw a plastic that was covering some stuff moving as if there was a breeze (there wasn't really) It was kind of creepy :S. There's only a friend of mine who knows about this cause my family would just laugh at my face. I don't think my house as a psycho past like yours so I really don't know why I see this things. But it must be even more creepy for you because you kind of know they're pasts..

If I had only one wish, I would specify to have the power that anything I imagine would become reality. Basically, I'd get anything I want.

If it was a specific few:

1. Immortality: Yeah, that'd suck after a while, but think of everything you could do in the mean time.

2. Telekinesis: I could mess with people and they'd never know. Plus it's cool to just stick your hand out and go "WOOSH!!" and have something happen.

3. Conjuration: The power to make stuff from nothing. Raise dead, summon ghosts, summon weapons, summon flaming ninjas, summon cookies, et. al.

4. The power to summon Captain Planet: 'cause he's a hero who's gonna take pollution down to zero. Earth, wind, fire, water, heart.

5. "I got the power" by Snap: yeah, that power. Don't know what it is, but I want it.

6. The power to shoot spaghetti out of my fingertips: because noone likes to be covered in spaghetti *SuFi*

7. The power to shorten lines: Who likes to wait in line? Not me. The movies, Disneyland, the DMV. All those moments of my life, spared from hellish wait behind smelly people with colds.
