Please help

Ok this maybe a stupid question but I need help. I have PhotoShop 5.5(don't laugh my dad is cheap:glare: ) and I want to know if I can make a really cool sig. with it. I always find this tutorials for PS7 and up but can't find nothing good for PS 5.5(where the love people). Hopefully I can talk my dad in getting me something better soon:crossfing Until then can someone help me.

Following this link, you can find all the basic elements of your version of PS. You can use it to find where are things located and such: http://www.layoutgalaxy.com/photoshop5.5/index.php4

Use your immagination and combine different tutorials together and make a signature or just an avatar. Later you can switch to wallpapers and more complicated things. Don't forget to read also our tutorials on this site. They are all tutorials for PS7+, but this doesn't mean your version can do such a thing. Try it after reading those links I gave you.

You said that your PS 5.5 is cheap what about mine i've got Photshop Elements! Some of the tutorials I cant do cos of the missing brushes and buttons. The only thing that I can say is that sometimes you can work and create simple things but you can never create masterpiece with it.

I don't even know how much it was cause my dad bought it from his friend. I know how you feel. I hate not having some of the brushes and buttons:( I know but I was just asking if I could do anything good with it at all.

Well the only thing that I actually do when I want to learn something about drawing on Photoshop is try and search on the internet but its not always effiecient. But I try to learn other tutorials even without the required tools.

Well i think that the only difference between version 5.5 and 7.0 is that you can just load cool brushes...

Not really, I can't do alot of the stuff that 7.0 can do. I can't think of it right now but there is more then just loading cool brushes that it can't do.

mine is only 6.0...but i can do some cool siggies...
