Seems like theres many naruto fans of the new one on cartoon network that just primered in november.I for one like the one in japanese dont get me wrong i think the english version is ok but i prefer the japanese version the use profanity and better sound picture and action its clearly to me the best.:ninja: :love: :p

True, The Amercian Version is fine but it's dubbed voices drive me off the wall.
Overall: Too enjoy The American Vers. i highly recommend that you Dont read the Manga...Why? the Manga is a million times Better.. for all the right reasons, Same goes for tha Japanese Version....nough said

The Japanese version of Naruto does have much better sound and picture quality, I have to agree ^.^

I will stick to the Japanese. The manga in english was good, although the literal, and sometimes altered translations were rather annoying. For example: "Art of the Doppleganger", rather than "Kage Bushin no Jutsu". It is decent though. The english dub of the anime killed it. I honestly cannot stand to watch it anymore. But we have heard how bad the dub is over and over, so, enough said.

Well I have never seen The Japanese Verson of Naruto only the american ones so I don't know any different. I Liked Zabuza he was the best and 2 episodes ago they kill him!!!!!! Why!!!!!! kill the brat Saskue I hate Him!! well he does give naruto a rival but I hate how he trys to act so cool! Oh and back to what I was saying I cant belive Zabuzas dead Oh well the new american episode comes on tommorow can't wait so Later But never For get Zabuza The Demon Of the Hidden Mist!!!

You know, it is okay for some people to make a typo every now and again. It's what sometimes happens when you type at quite fast speeds without touch typing. In fact, some touch typers make mistakes as well.

I don't think this is in the correct sub-forum ^^;.

I've been a fan of Naruto, since Shonen Jump preimiered in the USA, and Naruto debuted on the 2nd issue. Afterwards, I checked online for some advanced manga scans, and to my surprise there were some ^^.

So yeah, I was on the Naruto Bandwagon a little earlier than most of the fans in America(and in my area).

Yeah the dubbed version sucks, the voices could have been so much better. Also, I see a lot of Naruto merchandise at Hot Topic nowadays. It's kind of funny seeing a girl wearing a Sakura Shirt, or a guy wearing the Naruto hoody. Then they bug me about where I got my Headband(at my local anime/import store).

I'm glad that a lot of people are getting into Naruto, but they should consider reading the manga at least, if they don't want to download the japanese anime. I'm still cringing at who's going to voice Rock Lee, Negi, and TenTen, as well as Gai. Then there's a lot of cursing later in the series with Tayuya. If CN is smart, they'll move Naruto to Adult Swim when the Chuunin Exam Arc ends, or else they're going to end up censoring an ARSEload of stuff.

I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping Naruto is going to Adult Swim at the very least. Also, they are releasing Naruto on DVD in America soon. The first wave will be CN's cut of Naruto, complete with english dub and random arse opening and ending themes. Then the Japanese "Uncut" versions will be shipped out. I'm just wondering how they're going to advertise the "Uncut" versions.

If they have an attractive collector's box with some sort of extra gift that comes packaged with the DVD, I'll consider getting it.

So if you're too lazy to hunt down or download the Japanese anime of Naruto, they'll be in DVD form for you in the near future.

i agree, the translations annoy me:banghead:
