As for the wall, it's plain and boring. The gradient isn't much... Although I like the focus of the wall. I suggest adding some type of theme to it to give it more.. umph.

I agree with Xian here, the wall seems pretty plain, and although the ripples with the gradient hint at a sense of power radiating from the character, it's not really refined and looks kinda 'blah'. The focus -is- good, but the scan seems to be fairly low quality. Try looking for a better quality scan, or just vector the char ^^

for the wall: choose colors that fit better with the chara, remove the two "normal blending 50%" around the main chara, make the chara bigger and play with levels. I'm waiting for the 2.0 version ^__-
