Gudam RX-78 VS. Wing Gudam (Im into alot of old school anime so I would go for the very first gundam.)

Honestly, I would root for the RX-78 but sadly, Wing Gundam is more mobile and packs much nastier firepower. Plus it can transform for some nasty hit and runs.

Wing Gundam is far more developed...But the RX-78 is probably more mobile because it has less on it...I dunno which I'd pick to win. I think it depends on the pilot, doesn't it?

Well... I like the RX-78 also. But seeing as how its an Alternate Universe... The Wing Gundam just packs more of a Punch. But depending on who is piloting the suit...

Heero Yuy in his Wing Gundam vs. Amuro Ray and the RX-78, I would pick Amuro for the Newtype reasons.

But just anyone piloting either suit, the Wing would win.

Hmmmmmm, I like both gundams, I hate both pilots, you're makin it tough for me. I guess the Wing Gundam would pwn the hell out of the regular gundam. All the Gundam has in its defense is.........well, nothing. Gundam can only hope to tie Wing Gundam until you take into consideration Wing is more powerful, more mobile, and just all in all better.

Depending in which version of Wing Gundam. There's 3 of them, but most of them will pwn the RX-78 in a short time, especially the Wing Zeros (TV and Endless Waltz version).

There are only 2 versions of the Wing Gundam. The Endless Waltz version is just the 2nd one spiffed up with feahers for the movie only. It's the same mecha as the second, again, just with feathers.

I knew about the fact that they're more or less the same mecha. It's only that the movie version lost it's MA mode, for the wings.

I like the Wing Gundam and Gundam RX-78 were totally amazing.

I'd say Amuro Ray can beat Heero in terms piloting a MS on level. In other words Amuro is an Ace pilot and Heero is just skilled pilot. I did play in some games Amuro is very great has amazing evasion, accuracy and shooting rate statistics but for Heero is very good at accuracy, melee, and shooting rate. I know Gundam is not matched against a new MS like Wing Gundam but has chance to defeat Heero by skill of pilot.

That is all I can explain.

Amuro versus Heero

Winner is Amuro.

I know Wing Gundam could be used for destructive type but in terms of pilot Amuro is the winner. Think of it.

I think Amuro is just a better pilot than Heero Yuy due to the Newtype reasons.

That and Heero is way too reckless. And I don't even think he was the best pilot in the show. I think that Zechs was was better than Heero

Wing would win. The original gundam can barely get off the ground. Its pretty much a sitting duck. And then you have Wing's gundanium armor which is more advanced and durable.

There's just no competition here. Wing wins.
