"Production IG" and "Cartoon Network" The collaboration is done in "CyberFormura GPX" style Anime is made It knows only information.

It doesn't care even if it discusses it.

IGPX was a Toonami-created mini-series that aired several years ago when Toonami was still on Monday-Friday. I believe it was during "Giant Robot Week". Anyway, Toonami gave the rights to Production IG and they made it into a full-fledge anime.
In the original mini-series, there was a tournament using mechs that were custom build by teams. In the new one it looks like the same type of tournament/team thing, only racing was added(most likely due to the popularity of the HOTWHEELS movies that have been on Toonami recently)

I am hoping the quality in the first episode is an indication for the whole series. Also hoping the French team is in it alot :D
