This topic is for all fans from FMA. Let us talk about your favorite characters? :cool:

My favorite was only 3 were Edward, Roy, and Strongarm. Well Edward looks very funny when they called him shortie. Roy can be cool and love womens wearing skirt. And Strongarm kinda weird but he can so funny as Edward does... :rolleyes:

My favorite is Maze Heughs. He is such a great charicter. I love the epesode that centered around his assinanation. I sat and stared at the tv for 5 minutes before it fully registered in my mind that he was dead.

Well, I have alot of favorite characters, but I'll just name my most fav to greatest to least

Envy
Greed

Edward

My reason for liking them: Well, Wrath is a awesome character in my opinion and I love his ability to use Alchemy without a Transmutation just like Ed.
Envy, Well he is a awesome character too, Heh.. I love when he calls Edward a Full Metal Pipsqueak.(lol). Greed, he is cool. his personality is ok and I just love his glasses!(lol) and I like his ability to turn the carbon into his body, soft or hard as a diamond. Izumi..woah..Well she just kicks butt! and last, the Main character, Edward Elric, he was my first fav, when I first seen the show. I like when he gets mad when people call him, "short". And i like how he use his brain and he is like the star of the show, that just brings the whole plot(plus Alphonse Elric)out so people would understand the meaning of Full Metal Alchemist.(Hagane No Renkinjutsushi)

Well... If were talking about the series I would have to say Scar or the Crimson Alchemist.

But if we're talking about overall including the movie. I would say Alphonse, hes majorly cool. Soul transfering Alchemy... Thats awesome.

My favorite character is Edward, obviously.. It's funny how he gets all mad when someone calls him short.

My second favorite character is Greed ( The Strongest Sheild. ) I think that he is the coolest Homunculus out of the seven. It's awesome how he can change the carbon in his body to make diamond like armor on his skin.

Then I like Izumi Curtis because she's the one that thought Ed and Al most of what they know. She is also a great fighter and alchemist.

Here are the other characters that I like.

Alphonse, Envy, Wrath, Maes Hughes, Scar, Kimbly and Armstrong. There's a lot more I just don't want to name all of them.

My thre favorite are all sins.

Greed: I think he is the coolest character on the whole anime. His ability is awesome. He can change his skin into crystalized armor.

Wrath: Wrath is just plain evil. That's what makes him so cool. I like how he can fuse his body with things using alchemy.

Envy: Hahaha The palm tree head. He is the funny sin and it's cool that he can change into anyone.

My favorite characters would have to be Ed,Wrath,Greed,and Envy.

I like Ed because he is hilarious! It is funny when people call him "small" or "short" and he is funny because of his dirty mouth. Wrath is one of my favorites because he is so adorable! Also I like the way how he can transmute objects just like Ed does, however he can absorb things like his bed in Episode 29 (Not real sure of the episode). That is really cool. Greed is awesome because he is the Ultimate Shield. It is cool how he can change the carbon around in his body to make his skin hard. Also I thought it was funny when he called Envy "Abomination" (lol). Envy is cool because he can change into any person he has seen before. Also he can kick butt! He totally wooped Ed in Episode 24 (Still not sure of the episode) when they were in Lab 5. Though it is funny when people often mistake Envy for a Palm Tree. (Lol)

Not normally the characters people would talk about, but ya gotta like the group of men and woman that follows Roy Mustang around, lol. My favorite out of the group is Jean Havoc, he's pretty funny to watch sometimes. The dog Black Hayate is another one of my favorites, lol. Can't forget Riza Hawkeye either, she seem s to be the smart one out of all of them. Even Roy. ¬.¬; Lol.

Yeah, Maes is awesome. I cried like I had lost someone I really knew. I would really have liked to have seen him at Roy's side again. The same thing happened to me earlier in the series when Chimera-Nina dies.

I also like Scar and the other Ishbalans. I can understand their plight and their wish to just be left alone ofter all the shite that's been done to them by the military. They are resilient, hard working, and generally good people. I get a little torn between the Elrics and Scar when they are against one another sometimes because to me they both are right in their own ways.

On to the women! heh heh heh Riza Hawkeye, cos she keeps Mustang in check; Winry Rockbell, cos she keeps the Elrics in check; Maria Ross, cos she's a semi-parental figure to the Bros without being too imposing; Sheska, because a photographic memory is cool as SHHHH; Izumi Curtis, cos she has big brass balls for a woman in her condition and she taught the Bros everything they know; Dante, cos she taught Izumi and created some wicked Humunculi; and Trisha Elric, cos she reminds me of my mom...without the being dead part.

Humunculi: all of them, but Wrath tops the list because he's cute but lethal.

My favorite character by far is Edward. Mostly it's because his ideas when it comes to science, religion, philosophy and morality mirror my own. We both aspire to be scientists, we are both atheists, and his philosophy appears to mirror Secular Humanism. Also he manages to be a good person, despite the fact that many don't see scientists, atheists or humanists as being moral. Also... we both can get absorbed in our work, sometimes don't notice other people's feelings and... well... I'm not tall.

Hands down, my favorite character would have to be Envy.
Why? I'm not really sure. The palm-tree headed Homunculi has just seemed to find a place in my heart.
