Robin and Amon are my favorite characters as well. The episode that you're talking about, Saint...I like that episode, too. I think the episodes that I really liked was the attack on the STNJ and the episode where Dojima and the others find out that Robin is alive and well. So touching...^_^

I agree with you Chibi-chan, the episode when they found out Robin was alive was pretty touching. Also the attack on the STN-J was sweet!

I love Witch Hunter Robin. It is in my top ten favorite animes. I would have to say that Amon and Robin are my favorite characters. Though I do like them all, those two are my favorites.

I recently finished watch Witch Hunter Robin and I loved it! The action and plot is so fresh and the art is very unique... in a world of it's own. Robin and Amon were my favorite characters (big surprise) Robin because of her quiet personality and Amon because of his kick butt way lol. The ending left me a little shocked like "What? It can't end like that!" lol... but all in all it was an excellent anime ^_^

Yeah, I thought that the ending was a little: "What...NOOO! THERE HAS TO BE MORE!" type of thing, though I did enjoy it. It was a very good anime and I'm happy that I purchased the box set. I've watched it three times in english and about once in Japanese. I will never get sick of this anime! ^_^

I missed the ending! >_< when they showed it on adult swim a while ago, i missed it and forgot to record it!! WAHH! But i love the anime, and i have Witch Hunter Robin shirt. I really need to by the box set!

You know what I find absolutely shocking about this Anime? Robin's English voice is actually better than her Japanese voice. It suits her way better. This Anime is so amazing, the dub is actually perfect. Voices and all. I could scarecely believe it when I saw it. It rivals even Disney's stellar dubbing.
Well, at any rate, this is deffinitely one of my Top 10.
Oh the series was so perfect, i'd watch the replays on [adult swim] and yes the ending was like "What the hell, no.. It can't stop here!!!!" And all the episodes foward the series. (To me anyway.) I don't really think it had too many fillers or any at all. But then again I haven't seen it since [adult swim] aired it.

There was no filler in Witch Hunter Robin. Filler is usually reserved for Anime 50 episodes or longer. Such as Naruto, Bleach, Dragonball Z, Inuyasha, One Piece, etc.
I would like to see another series either sequel to, or based off, Witch Hunter Robin. I thought the ending was clear, but I do wish there was more.
I really enjoyed the series.
Amon is so cool and Robin was my fave as well.
My fave episode was probably either the first one or the last one.

The first episode was very stylish. It introduced the whole series, obviously, and set the mood perfectly. Heh, in Canada, reruns of Witch Hunter Robin are now present. Score one for Canada.

Someone responded, finally.
At any rate, as far as I know there was never a Witch Hunter Robin manga. Although, the creation of such a manga would be excellent.
Alas, it seems unlikely.
Well, at least I have the upcomming anime series Blood+ to look forward too. It will be a bit different than Witch Hunter Robin, but it should be similar enough to warrant notice.

I havnt seen Witch Hunter Robin for about a year now. Im starting to miss it. I guess Ill just give up on [adult swim] and start buying the dvds. Nooooo... Curse you adult swim, you've depleted my finances for world domination by introducing a good anime then canceling it, yet again.

Well i've just finished watching this anime a few days ago.My favourite episode is when Amon saves Robin during the STNJ attack...Amon leads robin to a safe place while he takes on those bad guys himself...That episode was so touching....I almost thought Amon died that time. >_< But thankfully he did'nt ^__^
The ending was'nt what i hoped it to be....I was really wishing that there was more to it....and im dying to know what happened to Robin and Amon....Im sure they survived, but im just curious where they are and what they're doing now.Dang!! I hope they'll make a continuation of this anime...I wanna c more of Amon! <3<3

I highly doubt that Robin and Amon are deceased. At the very least, I hope they are alive.
I would like to see a continuation in the form of stand alone episodes. Much like the first episodes of Witch Hunter Robin. They could do those for a while then introduce a story arc, or they could stick with stand alone episodes.
To start it off, they could have Sakaki, Karasuma, Dojima, Nagira, etc. searching for Robin and Amon. Not a very original idea, but it would be enough to start a continuation. I would also like to see more of Solomon, they could have covered more on that.

I love Witch Hunter Robin!! :) I watched it all the time on Adult Swim but I missed the ending......I'M SO SAD!!! I'm still trying to find out what happened.
My favorite characters are Robin and Michael. Robin's power of fire is so cool. It rocks. I'd love to have that and I love her hair. I am trying to see if I actually do that with my hair.I almost got it right.

Hmmm... Hope I don't get ganged up on too much... Lol...
Anyway...
I have all the episodes but I've only seen up to episode 20something...(I think<_<)
I actually thought the anime was a little boring... <_< ...The stories pace was a little too slow for me... And the characters were a little dull imo... except for some of the enemies...(Shouldn't be a suprise)
I remember when i began watching it somebody said the story would pick up at around episode 13 or so... But it didn't really get any more interesting... If anything I thought the regular witch hunting was better(More interesting) than after they got raided and stuff...
Well... theres my opinion... >_>'

MistaCloudStrife, I should hope you do not get "ganged up on" for simply stating your opinion. If you did, then I, despite being a Witch Hunter Robin fan, would defend you.
I can see where you are coming from though, the anime does take a pretty slow pace compared to what many are used to. Take that and add the unique style of Witch Hunter Robin, and many people are not going to be very fond of it.
I liked the anime because it had a pretty calm pace, it had solid characters, and it had a very stylish vibe coming from it.
Heh, so at least I can understand where you distaste is coming from. I am just glad that you stated you opinion in a calm and grammatically correct manner.
I have tendencies to rend insolent n00bs who run in blathering incoherently about why their opinions are "teh r0xx0rs".

I've only seen a few episodes, so i don't know much about the series, but I really enjoy every episode I watch. I'm not too clear on what's going on (except that they're Witch Hunters. Is that all there is to it? >_<) but I can enjoy the anime. My fave character is Amon without a doubt.

WHR's not for everyone, that's for sure. The things that set it apart are the things I love about it: the slow pacing, the dull colors, the ambiguity of the ending. Compared to other offerings on [as], past and present, it has a more "adult" feel to it than some other shows. As for the ending, though it left me wanting more, after watching it carefully a second time, it's pretty clear to me that they made it out alive, and they're together somewhere....

I agree. Another thing that I like about Witch Hunter Robin is that the magic is effective but very minimalist (for the most part). These are powerful witches, but their abilities are centered around specific powers. In lots of other animes the powers are grandiose and huge in scale, but in WHR it's very personal and more intimate. Like Robin's fire, for example (though it can get pretty powerful).

I also appreciate Robin's transition from very timid craft user to a more focused, more powerful craft user. She doesn't change much as a person during the series, but her character's personality traits are very well-developed. It's the people around her that change mostly due to their experiences with Robin and other craft users.

I don't really think the ending was sad.... It was a typical ambiguous ending that is so common in anime. Those two made an agreement that Amon would watch over her and her powers. You weren't told what happened to Robin and Amon, but you know they are probably alive somewhere together.

I love Witch Hunter Robin. I love the characters, especially Amon. The ending was not so good though. I wish there were more. I hope they make a sequel or a movie or something. I just think that it ended too soon. Can you guys lead me to a really good WHR Robin x Amon pairing fanfic? Thanks. If you want one, I know one. It's the best one I've read.

I actually didn't like this anime. I saw it maybe once or twice and I thought the animation was bad and that the plot line lacked severely. Overall, I feel that it just lacks the talent someone needed to create a good, or even great, anime. ;x

i think Witch Hunter Robin is one of the best out there. it has a great plot, great characters, and out of this world fanfiction written on it! some of the best fics i've ever read were of WHR, just check out ff.net. and Robin is so different from a typical lead character, i liked the way her character developed in the series, i kinda thought the ending was appropriate too, leaves you with mixed feelings ^_^
