okay, here is a question for anyone who has read the manga( i have not), but what does Ichigo's BanKai look like? all i know about it so far is that it is entirely black.....

I don't think it really explained his BanKai thoroughly... But his sword looks lke a normal katana except its black... his clothes change as well... and I think the Hollow inside of him can take over him more easily when he's in that state...

That looks awesome....i think the clothes are the same as Zangetsu, or at least the huge trench-coat.....now i really want to see it in the anime...looks like only 2 or 3 more episodes left if there are no fillers.....

I haven't seen episode 45 but I think there are more episodes left until we see it...

We still need to see Ichigo train, the bankai fights with the bad captains and the good captains... the fight with the cat woman and her old friend, and a few other scenes... o.O

As the Manga is so far ahead of the Anime, you should try to avoid spoilers for those that only watch the Anime. Although I would encourage those people to read the Manga also...

Anyway, most if not all of the "_________ official discussion" threads are full of spoilers... You can't talk deeply into an anime/manga unless there are spoilers...

And again... this section is "ANime and Manga"... So unless the thread had just, "Anime" in the title... then you can discuss the manga in here as well...

And also, nobody has complained about spoilers because I believe they all expect them...

Oh and I think it's crazy how ichigos father is Shinigami... o.O;;

It was in chapter 186, i just finished reading it....seriously...WHAT THE [UNDERWORLD]?! didn't see that coming......
yesterday i read chapters 1-180, and i have continued today....(i got tired of waiting for the episodes to be released)....Ichigo's BanKai kicked some serious [butt].....
anyway, does anyone know how Captain Hitsugaya survived being attacked by Aizen? He was just suddenly recovered....and how did Hinamori survive? she got stabbed in the heart!!.....grrrr.....
Also, very suprising to find out that Urahara and Aizen had been "pulling strings" behind the scenes.....

Ok, I am not that big of a fan that I have every book. But anyone knows how Ichigo overcame that big hairy dude with what looked liked his mother on the a string or thread or something. The hollow that killed a bunch of soul reapers. (like book 4 or 5)

I have no idea what you just said... o.O;; But um... welcome to the Bleach thread....... .. .. .. .

Anyway... I just saw the newest chapter of the manga... Pretty cool... I'm guessing a bunch of those Shinigama/Hollow people are going to be appearing from now on... And I have a feeling Inoue and Chad are gonna get WAAY stronger... Like... Inoue learns to fully control time or something and Chad gets that arm thing... But all over his body... That would be awesome... ( Note: All those things I said were from my imagination, I don't want you spreading this and blaming me for it being wrong.. =P People that skim thru posts... I'm talking to you... yes YOU... o.O;; )

And I'm kinda curious about Ichigo's hollow... o.O;; And how he's gonna control it...

I dont read the mangas so I have a question for those who do.

Does the anime follow the manga very closely? I'm up to episode 47 (48 does not seem to be downloading properly) and I was just wondering if Aizen was really "killed" in the manga.

Umm... Yeah, it does so far.... There are tiny things they took out and added but that happens to all anime's....

I just think the manga goes by faster than the anime... The anime tends to drag on a little bit...

And about Aizen.... I'm sorry but you should either wait for the new episodes to come out or read the manga... Really... Don't ask for that kind of spoiler... It'll ruin everything, believe me.

I think Ichigo has more than one meaning (several words do) In the anime it said it ment pride...or protector or something...because strawberry would be weird >_>

the anime refered the "Ichi" in Ichigo....Ichigo itself means strawberry....

story goes like this (in the first few episodes)......

Episode 1
The first episode of the manga-becomes-anime Bleach premieres sticking close to the original story and introducing part of the basic cast. The episode opens in a shadow ridden rugged landscape that we come to know as the dimension where the "Hollows" lurk. Souls who have become devoid of heart. A mass rises up from the ground and shoots towards the sky, then crashes through the clouds of earth towards Tokyo, where a lone figure stand upon a telephone pole. The figure is none other than the Shinigami (Death God / Soul Reaper) Rukia. She senses a "strong pulse" and decides to leap towards the landscape below to investigate. The scene shifts to a bunch of hoodlums confronting a lone orange haired boy on a sidewalk. It's none other than Kurosaki Ichigo, hero and star of Bleach. After teaching them a painful lesson in manners for knocking down a flower of tribute for a recently killed girl, they quickly beg for mercy and retreat.

A ghostly figure appears beside Ichigo, the spirit of the very girl who died there and had the flowers placed for her. She thanks Ichigo and says she can rest peacefully. Ichigo 'introduces' himself in narrator style and explains that his family runs a small clinic in their district. After saying "We save lives, and we don't save lives" he comments that ever since he can remember, it's been normal for him to see ghosts. With a swift kick to Ichigo's face, Kurosaki Isshin; Ichigo's father, makes his debut. The two share a close but violent relationship that is funny none the less. He scolds Ichigo for getting home late. Karin and Yuzu; Ichigo's sisters can be seen promptly ignoring the two and eating dinner in the background. Karin comments on a ghost following Ichigo and says he has it tough being a 'High-Spec'.

The scene soon shifts to a TV, where a reporter is covering an event in the downtown area. It’s full of buildings that have been damaged, with thick smoke clouding the area. The reporter calls it a mysterious explosion at the train station. Ichigo is then seen carrying flowers heading towards the spot he was at yesterday. By coincidence he is near the area reported earlier in the news. A faint cry can be heard followed by a loud explosion and scratch marks that form on the wall. The crowds of people run in terror, but Ichigo's curiosity gets the best of them as he head towards the destruction. As the smoke clears, the hollow can be clearly seen. Being a spirit, no one else can see the frightening creatures that has Ichigo frozen in his tracks. The ghost of the girl is suddenly seen again, running from the hollow. He instructs her to run and does so himself, while the hollow pursues them quickly. As it closes in, Rukia appears out of now where and quickly takes care of the hollow with two very swift slices. Ichigo calls out her to her, but she only walks away, and the crowd returns to see what happened.

That night, Ichigo tried to make sense of what happened, when the subject of his thoughts shows up in his room suddenly. Rukia looks around while completely ignoring the rather loud ichigo, which earns her a kick to the back. Being a shinigami, she wonders why Ichigo can see and interact with her. She explains to him, but the scene switches to another hollow now chasing the poor spirit girl. Ichigo looks at rukia as if she is dumb, not believing her story at all. She quickly uses demon art to bind him, and to prove her story. She then places the hilt of her sword on the forehead of the ghost that follows Ichigo, and performs a "Soul Burial", sending him to Soul Society. She explains that such a thing is what we know as going to heaven. With some rather crude drawings; Rukia explains the different spirits. There's Plus: good spirits, and Hollows: bad spirits.

The second hollow then senses Rukia and Ichigo and mentions a "delicious" spirit and abandons chasing the little girl to attack the Kurosaki house. Yuzu, wounded, walks over to the still bound Ichigo and begs him to save Karin. Rukia runs toward the hollow, ignoring the struggling Ichigo and tries to save Karin. Ichigo does the impossible and breaks the binding as a mere human, shocking Rukia, then proceeds to save his sister. Rukia explains that when he touched the girl, his spirit's scent must have flowed into this world, and that the hollow must have chased her trying to get to that scent. For that same reason Karin and Yuzu are now hurt. The enraged Ichigo foolishly challenges the hollow. Blocking its quick attack, Rukia took the blow for Ichigo and fell to the ground bloodily. She explains that the only solution for them to win, is for Ichigo to become a death god.

He accepts the offer and to transfer her powers, she stabs ichigo in the chest with the soul slayer. In a burst of light, the hollow is pushed back, and a new and improved Ichigo stands before it, he has become a Death god, and his strength has exponentially increased. Not to mention the giant Soul Cutter he has gained. In no time the hollow loses and arm, and a cocky Ichigo only smiles at the sight. Rukia is thrown aback by his power, and the fact that it takes him only seconds to defeat the monstrous hollow..

Episode 2
This episode begins with a strange sound, who could it be? None other than Isshin trying to drop kick Ichigo as a "nice" wake up gesture. After thwarting his fathers attempt, Ichigo realizes that it is the next day after his eventful night encounter with the hollow. He panic's and asked how Yuzu and Karin are, while Isshin only looks at him in a puzzled fashion. The scene changes to outside, where the damage from yesterday's battle to the house can be seen. Ichigo looks at it and his father comments on how a truck hit the house. Yuzu and Karin argue with Isshin while Ichigo quickly figures out that this must be how Shinigami cover-up the hollow attacks. He gazes lost in thought until Yuzu reminds him to eat before he is late for school.

As Ichigo arrives he bumps into and blabbering Inoue and knocks her to the ground. There mutual friend Tatsuki scolds Ichigo for his handling of the situation and then asks why he's late. He replies he'll tell her later and wanders off to class. In class Ichigo talks among his friends who are interested in the story of the truck that crashed into Ichigo's house. As they all socialize, a lone figure walks slowly from behind up to Ichigo with the overly fake valley girl voice and asks Ichigo "You must be Kurosaki-kun." When he turns to identify the figure it turns out to be Kuchiki Rukia, the Shinigami from last night. He jumps back in horror as his friends talk about Rukia, who they've already greeted. She offer her hand to Ichigo, which has a message written on it. "Make a Scene and I’ll kill you.

Later, they greet outside the school and Ichigo argues that she is weird for showing up like that. She then explains that she is in a Faux Body, a fake body Shinigami's use as they wait to regain there power, which she says Ichigo has sapped her dry of. Ichigo then comments that this must be the reason everyone can see her, which she confirms. Rukia then announces that until she recovers Ichigo must do her Shinigami work for her. He quickly refuses and says sorry that he can’t fight for total strangers. As he proceeds to walk away Rukia slips on a red glove decorated with a skull and quickly smashes her palm through Ichigo, knocking his soul from his flesh body. Ichigo is baffled by his separation from his body, but does what Rukia says and follows her.

They end up at a park where she says a plus will likely be targeted. Conveniently enough with a loud crash of the playground, a boy can be seen running from a spider like hollow. Before Ichigo can intervene Rukia stops him, and explains that if he wants to save that boy he must accept work as a death god. He says he can't ignore the situation at hand, but Rukia only explains to him he can’t be selfish and save only those he can see or reach. The boy, who has now fallen is about to be struck by the hollow, but Ichigo slices the appendage off, and the hollow falls. It disappears and Rukia and Ichigo continue the conversation. He tells her that when she risked her life for him, she wasn’t thinking of "he duty as a death god." But more that she was acting on her heart or her instinct. The foolish hollow reappears and thinks it is sneaking up on Ichigo, but its roar is quickly silenced with a quick stab to the face. It perishes and Ichigo performs a soul Burial on the boy. Rukia says he did well with the soul burial and Ichigo say they should go back thus the scene shifts to a new location.

Ichigo is now back inside his body, walking with Rukia through the streets. Suddenly a car screeches as it breaks, then speeds off. A girl that is identified to be Inoue lies in the street. Ichigo rushes over but she gets up and says she is fine. Rukia notices a strange bruise on Inoue's leg and examines it. Inoue asks her what’s wrong, but she says its nothing and tells her to take care. Ichigo offers to walk her home but she denied him and thanked him for his concern as she walked off. Walking home, Ichigo explains he came to know Inoue through Tatsuki, but that her brother had also died in the Kurosaki's clinic due to an auto accident, a fact he discovered only recently. Rukia dismisses Ichigo when he asks why Rukia is being nosy, and says she’s going 'home'.

Moving onto the nighttime hours, a spirit (plus) can be seen floating above the street, peering into Inoue's room. He is saddened when she closes her curtains. But two hollows then frighten him with there sudden appearance. They kidnap him and vanish, reappearing in a strange spirit world that we saw at the beginning of episode 1. A giant "boss" hollow orders the lost souls (hollows) to devour him and that’s just what they do, transforming the man into a hollow himself.

Later Ichigo is seen reading a manga on his bed. Yuzu opens the door and asks him if he's seen her missing clothes. He says no and brushes her off, after she comments that he's gotten mean. Rukia can then be seen in a bed with her cell phone beeping. Ichigo mysteriously hears the beeping and tries to locate it. He is shocked when Rukia jumps out of his closet wearing Yuzu's pajamas, shouting that a hollow is coming. As he gets to his feet, she pulls out his soul just as a monstrous hand crushes Ichigo’s bed and a hollow appears in his room. They fight it out until Ichigo breaks a piece of the mask it wears and stands shocked that it has a human face. The hollow runs, and Rukia commands that they follow it. But Ichigo wants to know what’s going on, why does the hollow have a face, and why is it the face of Inoue's brother. Rukia explains to the still flabbergasted Ichigo that Hollows are all previously Human souls, and that whether it be hater or sadness, they are bound to thins world and somehow become hollows. Even to Shinigami, the process is still mysterious.

As the final minutes of the episode show Tatsuki talking to Inoue, they are startled by a loud tapping noise on the building. The image of the hollow Ichigo had just fought lurks above them unsuspectingly.

Episode 3
This episode opens up with a recap of the ending moments of Episode 2 then shows what Inoue and Tatsuki did. As the two finished up their food, the thought about desert and other random things. Inoue then noticed the pink teddy bear she placed on her dresser had fallen. As she examines it, it's torn in the head. The scene switches to Ichigo rushing toward Inoue's house now that Rukia has explained that hollows will go after relatives. Switching back to Inoue, she notices the bear is strangely bleeding. A hollows arm suddenly bursts out and pierces right through Inoue's chest.

Her soul is knocked away from her flesh body, still linked together by the Chain of Fate. The hollow then attacks Tatsuki, who is unable to see it. As she is thrown about and finally knocked out, unable to hear Inoue calling her name. The hollow then addresses Inoue, but she does not recognize the voice. Within moments Ichigo flies through the door and slams into the hollow. They battles and the hollow retreats once more, prompting Ichigo to check on Inoue. When she speaks to him it takes him a while to figure out she must be a spirit. But before he can do anything the hollow reappears and resumes it's attack.

Ichigo argues with him but as the fight intensifies he is thrown out the window and slammed into the concrete below. The hollow swiftly moves back to Inoue and talks to her, as he clenches her fragile body, she figures out that it is none other than her brother. But quickly adds her brother would never do such things. He tells Inoue how lonely has been, and then the scene turns to a flash back of how Inoue used to pray everyday, and slowly stopped doing so. He then identifies the cause by the fact that it's happened ever since her friendship with Tatsuki. Ichigo gets up with Rukia telling him to not hold back, that it is no longer Inoue's brother.

Slicing and stabbing at the hollow Ichigo successfully defends Inoue and the yells at the hollow for the way he is treating her. He tells about how he raised her and how they were so close. Then says she should only listen to him. That Inoue is his. Charging, the fight is pulled out into the open and Ichigo hesitates, allowing the hollow to down him once again. Preparing to give Ichigo the finishing blow, the hollow charges and hits a body. Inoue used herself to block the attack, blood rushing from her much like Rukia was when she protected Ichigo. As the hollow and Ichigo talk. Rukia heals Inoue, saying as long as the chain isn’t broken, she can be saved.

He was now fighting the hollow inside causing his mask shatter. He then took Ichigo’s soul slayer and placed it to his neck, saying that he wants to die while he still has control over his own actions. Inoue awoke, then explained her reasons for her actions and tried to make him see what she was doing. She then apologized for there fight the day that he died, and commented on the hairpins he had gotten her that she now always wears. As he died, the soul slayer fell to the ground clanging heavily, suffused by the sound of Inoue tears that she had been holding back.

The next day, the whole group can be seen eating lunch on the roof, with Inoue explaining how a samurai came with a gun and destroyed her house. The rest of the girls look at her like she is the worst liar on earth, but Tatsuki regrettably backs up the story, surprising the group.

Ichigo is stand with Rukia, and asks if that was her work. She then explains the memory modifier (Chikan) that she uses, replaces memories with random fillers. Ichigo then explains he's ready to take on the death god job and offers his hand to Rukia, who smiles and accepts.

Episode 4
The episode opens with the character we only got a few glimpse of earlier, the behemoth Sado (or Chad as he is called only by Ichigo) Yatsura. He is with his two friends in what looks like a construction area. Between them is a birdcage with a cockatiel inside. One of his friends explains how it is cursed and that it's owners meet mysterious deaths. As his story comes to a close, a giant steel girder mysterious falls from above, but Sado stops it with his body, only bleeding from his forehead a bit. The bird then speaks, and introduces itself. Sado, who has a huge weakness for cute thing, introduces himself back, and implies he will be its new owner.

The next day in school, Ichigo and Rukia stand alone on the rooftop. Rukia is struggling with how to drink from a drink carton, unsure of how the straw works exactly. Ichigo tries to explain but his effort is in vein as she still struggles. Asano and company interrupt and then Sado makes his entrance. He was late too school and is covered in bandages in a few places. He explains the steel girder incident, and then adds that he was also hit by a motorcyclist on his way here. The group looks at him as if he is made of steel, then notice he is carrying the cockatiel. When it speaks, Rukia and Ichigo instantly notice that it is actually somehow a ghost of a human. Sado offers the cockatiel food, but it refuses. This is also the sign that it is a plus because ghosts do not get hungry. Rukia says later they should give it a soul burial.

Time passes and the next scene begins as Ichigo arrives home, who is greeted by loud yells of Karin and Yuzu bringing in patients. They say there was an automobile accident nearby. Ichigo moves towards the room his father is in, noticing that he was on the phone arguing with hospitals to come get the patients. Isshin then complains as he hangs up and notices Ichigo, who asks if he can help with anything. Giving Ichigo the cold shoulder he simply replies no, and says he should go to a corner and stay out of his way. Isshin's bout of comic relief ends as Karin and Yuzu try to carry a new patient in, which turns out to be Sado. Unable to really carry him, Ichigo is called upon to help. The wound on Sado's back is that of a hollow and is quickly noticed by Ichigo. Sado claims he's fine and gets up, but passes out from his loss of blood.

Later Rukia also comments on how she noticed the wounds, but that it was not the doing of the bird. The scene shifts to the next day as Ichigo is about to leave for school. Yuzu comments on how Karin is sick, which grabs Ichigo's attention because Karin NEVER gets sick. As he leaves, Rukia catches up with him, and explains the hollows whereabouts are still unknown. Then with some rather crude drawings explains how hollows hide in the dimension between earth and soul society, where they are undetectable. Ichigo comments on the shabby illustrations but receives a quick blow to the stomach. Suddenly Sado walks ahead of them and notices them, causing him to run. Before the can pursue, Karin calls out Ichigo's name from behind. She struggles to stand as her body is weak. Rukia tells Ichigo to take her home while she goes to pursue. As Ichigo takes Karin home, she explains that the ghost of the boy is troubled, and that’s what’s affecting her. The boy saw his mother dies right before his eyes she tells Ichigo before she begs her brother to save him.

Switching back, the scene shows Rukia who suddenly stopped her pursuit after hearing a hollows voice. Rukia and the hollow engage in battle, but her strength has not returned so the outlook is quite dismal. Sensing the fight Sado stops, puts the bird on a nearby wall, and runs back to help Rukia. The episode ends mid battle, leaving the outlook open.

Episode 5
Rukia is conversing with the Hollow of episode 4. The hollow trys to strike a pointless deal, he claims that if she allows him to eat her without resistance he will tell her." Rukia then jumps up and knees him in the face, then uses her hand to spin around on his horn and lands on his back. She then begins reciting words for her spell, then fires Destructive Spell #33, Soukatatsui (roughly translated: Fire Fall). The attack his the hollow dead on, but has little to no effect. The Hollow then reveals he has killed many other Shinigami (also called Soul-Reaper or Death God). The scene then cuts to ichigo running home, then Karin (Ichigo's sister) in bed, he then begins to talk to himself while running down the road. The episode then cuts to Rukia being slammed against a wall and being pinned by the hollows right hand. The hollow then ask Rukia was she does not shed her human shell and fight him. Immediatly afterwords Chads first meets the hollows face (with enough force to knock the hollow back a few feet and make him touch the ground). Chad then asked himself "Did I...hit it?". Rukia then ask her self "He can see ghost?". Chad then starts swinging madly at the air and an anime sweetdrap appears on the back of Rukia's hair while she says "No, he can't...". Chad then nails the hollow in the center of his face. The hollow then takes to the air.Chad then brings a phone poll and hits the hollow with it. The hollows hits the ground and Rukia then claims someone is coming to reap him. The hollow begins to laugh, but soon after his minions come from the bushs and pin Rukia and Chad to the ground. The hollows begins to raint when all of a sudden Chad breaks free. The hollow the curses Chad before he gets a punch to the chest. Chad punches the air somemore before Rukia tells him to kick the hollow's minions off of her. The hollows then takes flight again. Rukia then commands Chad to throw her in the air to attack him, but the hollow distracts Rukia while she is coming towards him and he sends her to the ground coverd in bombs (leeches) from the hollow's minions mouth. The hollow returns to the ground then uses his touge to make the bombs expload. Chad approches the hollow right before the hollow threatens to kill the child (in the bird's body) if he comes any closer. Rukia tells Chad not to move before turns and runs in the other direction. Soon after the hollow and his minions begin to chase her. Rukia jumps to avoid being hit with leeches, but is suprised and the hollow uses his touge to make them expload. The hollow them compliments her on her blood soaked figure (he tells her that it is very cute, and he can't get enough of it). Rukia then begins to run from the leeches being hurled at her. She suddenly stops and begins to ask the hollow if he said she could fight back (he did). [BLEACH 5, B PART]. Ichigo then steps on the back of the hollows head, and curses at Rukia. The hollow then asked Ichigo how long he was going to stay on his head before he raised up. Ihcigo then introduces himself and tells the hollow if he wants to play "cops and robberys" he is chasing the wrong guy. The hollow then orders millions of leeches to be fired and blows them up immediatly, Rukia then puts on her glove and seperates Ichigo from his body. From the smoke raises a pi**ed Ichigo drawing his sword. The fight begins. Ichigo begins to insult the hollow. Chad shows up and see Ichigo body and ask Rukia what happend. Rukia tells him to take Ichigo and the parakeet to safty. Ichigo comes at the hollow after killing many of it's minions, but stops with his sword at the hollows neck and begins to ask the hollow if he killed the mom of the boy inside of the parakeet. The hollow admits it (he did it while he was still living) and begins to brag about killing the boys mother and the lies he told the boy . Icgigo lets his gaurd down and the hollow knocks the sword away, jumps and dires leeches. ichigo grabs the leeches and makes a first with them in hand right before he puts his fist through the hollows teeth (breaking them) and grabs on to his touge and asked the hollow what is wrong before jumping back with it in hand. ;)
With a jump and slash, the hollows life on earth is final ended. But Soul Society does not await this cleansed, but yet un pure soul. The gates of HELL open and claim his soul for themselves.

Episode 6
Rukia is staring at an lighter shaped object while sitting on the top of a building top. She says some words and moves her body after a light blinks on the object and says "it is time to go shopping".[Bleach Episode 6] The scene then cuts to Ichigo bringing a plate to his closet and knocking. He opens it with furstration and notices Rukia is not there. The scene cuts again to Ichigo's family having a conversation about his behavior.

Ichigo's dad makes some accusations about Ichigo to himself (after Karin and her sister say that Ichigo has been eating more, his dad says "Ichigo's already 15. | That is a sensitive age. | What does a young man in the prime of youth do in his room... | Only one thing,Which is-), right before Ichigo comes down the steps and says "screw you old man" with a spin kick too his dads face and says "Quit prying, you old pervert". Ichigo's dad gives his accusations reson and they start fighting. The scene then cuts to 2 kids cleaning up infront of the Urahora Store. The boy begins to pick on the girl (in a few years I hope he dosn't expect to get any), while he is pushing the broom on her head (this is one twisted child), Rukia grabs the broom. Rukia calls his shorty and asked if the manager was in. The boy then says "Welcome back" and pushs the door open. It shows Tessai holding some boxes.

Tessia says it isn't time to open, but he then sees Rukia and says he will wake the manager. The manager appears behind him and says "So sorry. I am already awake." He claims he has just opened some new stock. Rukia asked him for items for her faux body, and he reminds her if she aligns too much with her faux body,it will be hell when she leaves it. He smiles and ask if if she would like a cheap check-up, she yells saying "Not necessary."

Rukia then asked if the item she orderd has arrived, the store manager said yes. He then sends Ururu to get the package, but she gets the damaged goods, and not the good stuff. Later Rukia shows up at school. Knocks Ichigo out and claims she is taking him to the nurses office. It then shows them outside and Rukia begins to explain the candy holder. It then cuts to ichigo's school and the "blond" Rukia talking.

She then knocks Ichigo out, and asked him if he is ok. Rukia talks him outside and he throws her a duck "candy" holder. [The candy is called Giakongan, but was renamed to "Soul Candy" because "The Leauge of women shinigami (Death gods) deemed it not cute]. Ichigo then asked why it was a duck, Rukia tells him to shut up, and explains herself (she wanted Chabby the Rabbit). Ichigo slightly mocks her, before he gets a foot on top of his head.

Ichigo is then told to take one. He then takes on of the candies. It is shown dropping and starts to emit an electrical aurura. His body emits and electrical like aurura before his soul is separated from his body. His seemingly lifeless self lies hunched over a banister. Ichigo's body than stands (Kon is inside, but remember they do not know who Kon is, nor does he have his name yet). The soul then introduces himself as Ichigo.

Immediatly afterwards Rukia's phone rings and they much take off to go reaping. "Ichigo" then smirks. It then cuts to the scene where the store mangaer realizes he sold the wrong product. The store keepers then decide they must fix the problem. Scene cuts again, it shows "Ichigo" stretching before he breaks a part of the building with a kick.

An old man is then shows and he identifys Ichigo by his last name and class. "Ichigo" then walks quickly towards him and before he is hit with the mans wooden sword he jumps right over him. Ichigo then jumps from the shack sizes building he first jumped on to a much taller structure.

Orihime and the rest of her classmates are about to eat Lunch when Kon jumps from the ground all the way into their classroom (very high up). Soul Reaper Ichigo is then shown reaping an hollow. [Bleach 6, B Part]. Tatsuki is then shown questioning Kon on how he got up that high (even though she knows). Kon is then peering at the girls and announces to himself they are all above average. He then zeros in on Orihime and notices her chest is XXXtra Large. As he begins to spit his game at her Tatsuki puts him in a hold and pulls him away.

Kon He then pulls his head back to look at her, and says aloud now thta he looks abit closer he is cute too. The whole class looks in shock. The scene is then cut to Ichigo and Rukia running down the street back to the school. As the approch the school they see a desk fly out of the window. Inside the class room Tatsuki is throwing desk at Kon and he asked if if she is in the 3rd grade. Rukia then barges into the room and yells "That is enough!".

Kon the runs towards the window, but is confronted by Ichigo (just now coming into the window). Kon then perceds to beat the living hell out of Ichigo. Kon then jumps outside of the window. Kon the runs super fast (Sonic style fast). Rukia then comes to the conclusion that me is a modified soul (or mod-soul). Ichigo and Rukia are now in an abondond warhouse arguing. Ichigo seems to be tramatised by the fact Kon gave all the girls in his class kisses.

Rukia then says a kiss is nothing compared to what she has read in her books, and shouldn't be a big deal. Rukia then reveals the sick history behind modified souls. [Modsouls were created to act as Shinigami (operation "SpearHead"). They would enter a dead persons body and enhance all of it's abilities. Later Soul Society ordered mod-souls inhuman and decided to destroy them all. However, a few slipped through the cracks.] Ichigo is running while thinking about Kon's pardicament. Kon is leaping through the streets, he stops on a building an then sees kids playing video games.

The things the kids say about the game reminds him of what Soul Society did to him. So Kon perceds to kill one of the boys wih a kick, Ichigo makes it just in time to block the strike.

Episode 7
The episode starts off with a recap of the last episode, where Ichigo and the Mod Soul are fighting in the classroom. Rukia is doing a voice over, explaining about Mod Souls and how they were scrapped by Soul Society. It then cuts to Urahara's Shop. Urahara sets down a large object wrapped in white bandage-like cloth, and Ururu comes up to him. Ururu says to him "It's all my fault that this happened. You're probably angry with me". Urahara reaches out and Ururu flinches instictivly, but instead, Urahara simply puts his hand on her head. He tells her "I don't blame you one bit" and asks "How come you're always so timid?". He then hugs her and tells her that they're all a team, and that he'll fix everything. Then Tessai and Jinta arrive, and say that the preparations are complete. Urahara then turns to them, saying "Alright, then let's go...collect our merchandise". It zooms out and shows them all in battle poses.

The scene cuts to the three school kids, Hashigami, Kaneda and Ino. They are looking at Kon and wondering what he is doing. It then shows Kon fighting with Ichigo. Ichigo has the upper hand, saying that if he calms down, he can easily dodge Kon's moves. Kon, knowing he is losing, jumps away from the fight. Ichigo is about to go after him when Rukia gets an order from Soul Society. There is a hollow nearby. Ichigo is angry at the bad timing, but goes along with her. The scene cuts to a few minutes later, when the three kids' teacher comes over to them. They tell her that a high-school kid attacked them, but she doesn't believe them. She finds a gameboy on the ground, and says that they play too much video games.

Kon is running across the tops of houses. He is muttering to himself about Ichigo 'ruining his buzz'. He stops suddenly, and he turns around. He can sense a hollow nearby. He can tell it's back in the direction he came, and that it's going to attack those kids. The next scene shows the kids after school, cleaning up. A giant centipede-like hollow looms up behind them, laughing sinisterly.

Ichigo and Rukia are running, following Rukia's spirit phone. It beeps and she says that it is acting wierd. Rukia says she can't locate the hollow, and they look around frusterated. Back at the school yard. the hollow goes to attack the kids, but Kon stops it just in time with a kick to the face. The kids recognise Kon and wonder why he is back again. Kon runs at it and goes to attack the hollow, but is injured in the shoulder. The Kids are frightened to see blood and run off.

As Ichigo and Rukia are running, they spot Kon and the hollow on a roof of a building. Kon is tired and the hollow attacks him. Kon jumps up just in time but is hit in the back, causing him to fall down. The hollow shoots one of his tentacle-like arms at Kon, and is about to hit him when Ichigo steps in and cuts off the arm. The hollow screams in pain. Kon and Ichigo argue a bit, and the hollow gets angry with them. It rushes at them, but Ichigo just slashed him in the head, and Kon kicks him. The hollow screams and falls backwards. Kon then suddenly rushes over underneath the falling hollow, thinking he was going to escape, and kicks him upward, sailing over the railing of the building in the process. Ichigo catches him by the foot just in time, keeping him from falling down. Ichigo tells kon that the hollow would have disapeared anyway. Down on the ground, the three kids are trying to convince the teacher that their story is true, but she just says they are to stay and clean up tomorrow too.

Ichigo and Kon are on the roof, and Ichigo asks "Didn't you hate those kids?". Kon says that he doesn't kill anyone, or let them die. Then Urahara appears on the scene and removes the Soul candy from Ichigo's body. He is about to take the Candy away, when Ichigo goes up to him and asks what he will do with it. Urahara replies that he is going to destroy it, and Ichigo is shocked that Urahara can see him. Rukia then comes on the scene and takes the Soul candy, saying that they are satisfied with the product. Rukia gives it to Ichigo and says to him that they are leaving.

Ichigo and Rukia are walking home, and Ichigo wants to complain to Kon, so he puts the Soul Candy in a stuffed animal he finds on the street. Ichigo then grabbs Kon and says menacingly that he'll take 'good' care of him. Kon then proceeds to punch Ichigo with his stuffed hands, which don't hurt him at all.

The scene cuts to the next morning, and Ichigo is woken up by a noisy Kon. Yuzu then comes in and says that his friends are here to pick him up. Looking at the time, Ichigo rushes to get dressed and says he'll be down there in a minute. Ichigo turns to Rukia and says that she erased his classmates memories again. She replies that he'd have problems if she didn't.

At school, Tatsuki, Michiru and Orihime are talking about an art assignment, 'The Future Me'. Tatsuki shows hers, which is her winning the Vale Tudo championships (Don't ask, 'cause i don't know). Orihime shows hers, which is her as a robot. Then Ichigo walks in and Orihime says hi. Ichigo smiles and says hi back. Tatsuki says to Orihime and Michiru that he only makes that face when he's completely tense. She asks Michiru the date, which is June 16th. Tatsuki says she knows the reason why; tomorrow is the day Ichigo takes off school.

Cut to the Kurosaki household, where they are having a family meeting, to give out jobs. Later, Rukia mentions that the family meeting looked like fun. Ichigo tells her that it's the aniversary of his mothers death. It then shows Ichigo dreaming about his mothers death. He sees someone (a ghost) by the river and goes to save him/her. Then it shows Ichigo crying over his mother, who is dead.

Some time later, a man in black robes is playing a spinning top game with some kids, and another man comes up to him. He says he has a job, which is to bring back Rukia. He also says she has exceeded her time limit in the human world.

Episode 8
The scene shows a dark mountainous place. Shadowy creatures appear on the tops of the hills that are there. Then it moves to the outline of a creature with a hole in it's middle (A hollow, obviously) and then shows a close-up of a hollow's mask. It says "I will go".

Cut to a scene of a clear blue sky. It pans downward and you can see Yuzu, Karin, Ichigo and their dad walking up a steep road. Yuzu and Karin are up front, while Ichigo and Isshin (The father) are walking behind. Yuzu complains that the hill is very steep, and Karin responds that she is fine. Karin then warns her saying "But if you talk like that...". This sparks their father, and he begins to yell what he thinks is encouraging phrases such as "Give it your all, Yuzu" and "Don't give up, Yuzu".

Karin tells her to ignore him, and that if you respond to 'people like that', they will always be on your back. Isshin runs up to them on his hands, saying that if they don't respond, he'll be on their backs anyway. Karin simply responds with a kick to his face, which sends him rolling down the hill. The scene shows Ichigo looking down after him, and he then turns around, not caring about his father. He complains that it is 'too friggin' hot for June' and his mind flashes briefly on him and his mother beside the river. He thinks in his mind that today is June the 17th, the same day as his mother's death, but at the same time, it is very different.

Yuzu and Karin bring him back to reality, saying that someone is here already. They wonder if she is visiting a grave too. Then they comment that the person is waving to them, and it shows Rukia wearing a yellow dress and waving with a hat in her hand. Yuzu asks Ichigo if he knows her. Ichigo shakes his head vigorously and replies that he doesn't, not even the tiniest bit. Karin then comments that she thinks she has seen her somewhere before, and Ichigo suddenly remembers (or decided to tell them) that she is his classmate from junior high. He says he has to talk with her right this minute and runs up to her, grabbing her and running off quickly. Karin stares for a minute and then chuckles. Yuzu asks "What!? Karin, what was that chuckle for?". Karin replies saying that she (Yuzu) might have to stop relying on her big brother from now on. The scene begins to fade, and Yuzu is still asking what Karin means.

Ichigo and Rukia are by themselves in the forest. Ichigo is slightly angry and he says "Dammit, why're you following me?". Rukia replies saying "Fool. If I'm not by your side, what will you do if a Hollow appears?". Ichigo steps up to her and says that if she was going to follow him, she should at least do it more secretly. Rukia doesn't move, simply saying "Sorry about that. I didn't realize". Ichigo steps back, slightly confused. He asks her why she is angry, and she replies that she isn't angry. Rukia pauses for a moment and then speaks again. She says "You said...she was killed. Your mother". We see a hand rest on a tree; it is the shinigami from the end of the last episode. Ichigo says "I didn't say that. Forget about it". Rukia ignores it and reminds him that he said he could see ghosts for as long as he could remember. She then says "Then, tell me one thing. Was the one who killed your mother...a Hollow?"

Ichigo looks slightly shocked, and Rukia continues speaking. "If your spiritual energy was high enough that you could see spirits for as long as you can remember, a Hollow who was after you could have killed her by mistake". Then suddenly, Ichigo shouts out "I can't take this!". He goes off at her saying that "According to you, every damn thing is the work of Hollows. I've never heard more bullshit in my life". He goes to walk past her, but stops. Without turning, he says to her "It wasn't no Hollow or nothin'. The one who killed my mom...was me". Ichigo runs away and Rukia turns to him, shocked. She calls after him, but he is already gone. It zooms out on Rukia, into the trees, and we see the shinigami from earlier. He has a wide-brimmed hat that covers his face, and he lifts it up to reveal his eyes as the scene fades.

The scene cuts to Orihime and Tatsuki sitting on a bed (I presume it's in Tatsuki's room)talking. Orihime wants to know about the old Ichigo, saying she might have found out his secret. Tatsuki looks confused. Orihime continues on, saying that Ichigo might really be a Hero protecting the earth. Tatsuki just says "A…a hero, huh?" not quite believing her. She rests her head on her hands and starts to tell Orihime the story of how she met Ichigo. The scene fades into a flash-back, and it shows Tatsuki at a fighting dojo. Tatsuki says that she was attending a fighting school when a boy with unbelievably bright hair walked in with an unbelievably beautiful mom, smiling unbelievably widely.

It fades back to the bedroom, and Tatsuki say that Ichigo looked so skinny and goofy, and he looked so weak. It fades to the flash-back again, and shows Tatsuki fighting with Ichigo in the dojo (Well, more like Tatsuki punching and Ichigo falling down). Ichigo falls onto the floor and he starts crying. Tatsuki says "He really was so weak". It fades again to the bedroom. "Actually, i was the first one to make him cry. One hit up high...Didn't even take 10 seconds". Fade to flash-back again. "But, even if he was crying, when he saw his mom's face, he'd turn all smiles right away" Back to bedroom. "He really was a mama's boy, and he clung to her. But, he smiled so happily".

Tatsuki goes on to say that when Ichigo was only nine, his mother died. She says the next day, after his mom died, he wasn't at school. He was at the riverbank where his mother died. He'd just stand there, and if he got tired, he'd squat down for a while. The scene fades once more back to the bedroom, and shows Orihime and Tatsuki looking sad and then fading to black.

Rukia is sitting on the edge of a wall. She is wearing her hat and looking out across the cemetery. She says to herself "Killed his mother...huh?". She thinks back to when she asked him if a hollow killed his mom, and then the scene fades back to her. She covers her mouth with her hand and says "I'm such a fool". At that moment, Kon unzips Rukia's backpack and sticks his hand out. Rukia asks what he wants, reminding him that she said not to come out until she said to. Kon replies saying that it was hot in the backpack. He asks if they could go home yet, and Rukia denies it, saying "I told you, if we don't stay by his side like this, our response will be delayed when a Hollow appears".

Kon pouts, arguing that all she thinks about is Hollows all the time and that if all she thinks of is work, then she will lose friends. Rukia stands up, and Kon falls out of the backpack. He climbs back up and starts to apologize, but Rukia tells him to be quiet. It flashes on the shinigami who was following them and she turns to look into the forest. She approaches carefully and sees him resting against a tree. He suddenly opens his eyes and stretches his arms, causing Rukia to jump in surprise. He talks about having a good nap and then spots Rukia. Kon, having been tossed into the bushes, realizes that it is a death god and goes to tell Ichigo.

Meanwhile, Ichigo is alone in a remote section of the forest. He is thinking about his mother. It flashes back to him and his mom leaving the dojo. Ichigo get splashed by a truck and Masaki (his mom) instantly goes over to him and starts cleaning the water off of his face. She says until he can beat Tatsuki in a fight, he could walk on the road side of the sidewalk. She moves to the road side and Ichigo stops. He asks if he can hold her hand, and she replies "Of course". The present Ichigo says he always felt safe with her around. The scene cuts to the riverbank, just before his mom was killed.

Ichigo says at that time he couldn't tell the difference between the living and the dead. He spots the ghost of a kid by the river and runs after her. Masaki yells after him, but he doesn't hear her. The screen blacks out and Ichigo wakes up next to his mother, who is dead. Present-day Ichigo says that he didn't know how it happened, but that it was obvious that it happened because of him. He says that the whole family revolved around their mom. It cuts back to the forest, and Ichigo drops to his knees, saying that he took their mom away.

It cuts to Karin and Yuzu, who are at their mom's gravestone. Karin is praying and talking to the gravestone, as if she was there, and Yuzu is crying. Karin tells her she should stop crying year after year. Then their dad comes up behind them, telling them to cheer up, and that they are having their annual "Kurosaki Family Gravestone Domino Tournament". Karin responds with another kick and tells him to "Press the reset button on your life". As Isshin comes back up to her, she kicks him again and runs off, with her father following her.

Rukia is facing off against the shinigami, who is taunting her. Then Ichigo arrives. He says he is a substitute death god and the other shinigami says to Rukia "That's a freakin' felony". They end up fighting, but they stop when Rukia says there is a Hollow nearby. Ichigo realizes that his family might be in danger and him and Rukia run off towards the Hollow. Meanwhile, Yuzu and Karin are being attacked by the Hollow. The episode ends with Rukia and Ichigo running towards where the Hollow is supposed to be.

Episode 9
The start of the episode is the ending scene from the last episode; Yuzu is being strangled in the air by the Hollow(Grand Fischer). Karin is trapped under the Hollow's foot. The Hollow says to Yuzu, who is screaming, "You're loud. I guess one hostage will do". The Hollow slowly starts moving her towards his mouth, but then Ichigo comes from nowhere and slices off his claw/arm. Yuzu falls, and Ichigo catches her and sets her on the ground. The Hollow just pushes down on Karin with his foot and then lifts her off the ground. He says to Ichigo "I still have a hostage. I've been waiting for you, Death God".

The other shinigami who was fighting Ichigo earlier appears beside Rukia, who is standing behind Ichigo. He says "That guy!" The view switches to the Hollows head, and it pans down to show a girl with white robes. It is the one Ichigo saw by the river the day his mother dies. Ichigo realizes this, shocked. He says to the girl, "You're the one from six years ago, why are you here?. The girl starts speaking, which is actually the Hollow speaking. It says "Six years ago? I don't remember anything that long ago. I see, this is interesting". The girls skin then starts slipping off, as if it is a suit. A red tongue-like thing then pokes out from the top, which flys out into the Hollows head, and the girl. or rather doll, is pulled upwards, dangling from the appendage. Rukia suddenly speaks up. "The Grand Fisher. That's it's code-name. It hides itself...and makes the appendage growing out of it's head take human form. Then any human who can see it, in other words, any human with a soul of high spirit density, becomes fodder to increase it's power.

This Hollow has evaded us Death Gods for 50 long years. And it's favourite meal is...women". Ichigo comes to a realization; "You mean...this thing killed my mom?". The Hollow laughs. "Ahh, i see. You're a lucky kid to have survived after seeing me. At first, i might have been trying to eat you because of your great spirit power, but women just look so tasty". Ichigo gets angry, and blindly rushes towards the hollow. He jumps into the air and swings his sword at it, which misses and instead just hits the ground. Rukia yells out "Don't be careless, you fool". The Hollow launches a claw at Ichigo, which he narrowly avoids. He jumps backward onto a wall, and the Hollow's hair suddenly grows longer and wraps itself around Ichigo.

It then pulls itself in and traps Ichigo inside its fur. Ichigo speaks through a gap in its fur. "You're the only one i'll NEVER forgive!". Rukia then performs some hand movements, tracing a japanese character of some sort in the air. She calls out "Disintegrate, Black Dog of Rondanini! Look upon yourself and burn; tear away your own throat! Way of Binding 9: Gek!". She binds the Hollow in a red energy. However, the Hollow gets angry and breaks free of the demon art, telling Rukia 'Not to disturb him'. It launches a spear of hair/fur at Rukia, which knocks her down.

The Hollow laughs and says "Now then, i'm going to eat this girl. What are you going to do?" to Ichigo. Ichigo calls out to Karin in desperation. The Hollow stops, and says to Ichigo "So you'll be good and let me eat you?". It opens its mouth to reveal its extra mouth inside it, both open wide. Then then the other Shinigami rushes up and cuts Karin from the Hollows grasp. Ichigo sees this chance and uses his Zanpaku-tou(Soul Slayer) to free himself from the fur. The Hollow launches spears of fur towards Karin.Then, just as they are about to reach her, the othe Shinigami steps in front of the fur and stops the attack. Some of the fur hits him in the chest, though, and he is injured. Ichigo jumps down and cuts the fur from the hollow, making it retreat back. The Shinigami coughs up blood. Ichigo asks him why he did that, and he answered "Death Gods keep on fighting Hollows, no matter what.

Because of Hollows, precious people are lost, and only emptiness is left. I won't forgive that. Protect them, spikey boy". He colapses on the ground. Ichigo is slightly shocked, asking Rukia that Death Gods can die too. She replies that even Shinigami aren't immortal. The form may be different, but death is..." She stops as the Shinigami starts snoring. Ichigo says "Wait, that bastards sleeping...". Ichigo yells at him to wake up, but he fails miserably. At that moment, Kon runs up to them. Rukia tells him to take the sisters and run, so he does. Rukia then steps forward and tells Ichigo to back her up. Ichigo doesn't listen though and he leaps forward to face the Hollow. He tells her to stay back, and she becomes confused. He then says "This time, you mind your own buisness. I'll do this alone". She replies, saying "Don't be ridiculous, this thing's strong. I told you, It's avoided the Death Gods for 50 yea-" But Ichigo cuts her off, yelling at her to shut up. "Please. Don't interfere. This is...MY fight!". The Hollow screeches a battle cry, and Ichigo raises his sword, rushing towards the Hollow.

It cuts to Kon and Isshin at a shrine in the cemetary. They are on the steps outside, staring out at who knows what. All of a sudden, Karin starts to wake up. Kon asks if she is alright, and she just says nothing. Kon wonders in anguish how Ichigo can keep his brow creased all the time. He sighs in frustration and slumps forward so we can't see his face. When he rises again, it isn't Kon, but Ichigo. It shows Ichigo dashing forward through many large spears of hair with his sword. He runs up onto one of them and up towards the Hollows head. Ichigo slashes at it, but the Hollow dissapears. Ichigo is shocked for a minute, before realizing. He looks to the side and see that the Hollow is there. "Too slow, boy". Ichigo drops to the ground and quickly springs forwards, just in time. The spears of hair smash into the ground behind him, and they keep doing so as Ichigo continues to leap out of the way.

The Hollow appears on the field, and it faces off against Ichigo. "With your abilities, i'm supprised that you had the guts to tell me to stay away from your friends. Eh, boy?" Ichigo tells him to shut up, through gritted teeth, and the scene fades to a flashback of Ichigo's mother. "After mom died, i couldn't imagine how sad Yuzu felt. I couldn't imagine how lonely Karin felt. It shows the shinigami who fought Ichigo saying "Protect them, spikey boy". Ichigo tightens his grip on his sword. "I decided i would protect them". Rukia finally gets up the stairs to where Ichigo and the hollow are, and Ichigo rushes at the Hollow. "I'm going to...beat this bastard!". The Hollow laughs and disapears, re-appearing behind Ichigo. "Didn't your friend tell you not to be careless?" Ichigo whirls around just in time to stop the Hollows claw. "How many times now have you lunged at your enemy without a plan? That's the defenition of 'Careless', boy!". The Hollows claws start to creep over Ichigo's blade, and they pierce his body.

The Hollow removes his claws and blood spills over the ground. "Impulsive. You're impulsive! You sent away your comrade based on a fleeting emotion, and on fleeting emotion you lunge at your enemy. And in this way, you shall perform for my amusement and die at the end." It forms a hand in front of its body. Rukia steps forward, calling to Ichigo. Ichigo yells at her. "Stay away! Keep away, Rukia! I'm going to beat him. Even if my arm gets severed. Even if my leg gets tossed, i'll beat him". The Hollow speaks to Ichigo. "That is why you will die. Because you are young, you anger easily. Because you anger, your heart is in chaos. And because your heart is in chaos, your blade is dulled. It's over, boy. You're far too you to fight with me!". It grabs the head of it's doll, and when he removes his claw, the face has changed to Ichigo's mother. Rukia stares at it. "Ichigo, is that..." she looks to him. "You bastard!" It cuts to the flashback of Ichigo's mother standing at the door of the dojo. "Even the most hardened Death Gods have at least one person they could never kill. That is absolute.

By finding that person, i have so far evaded the Death Gods. And for you, that person must be this woman". Rukia steps forward, calling to Ichigo, but she stops. It flashes back to what must be her mentor or captain. He says that there are two types of fights; one to defend life, and another to defend pride. "That's right. This is a fight for Ichigo to defend his pride,..a fight i mustn't interfere with. It shows the other shinigami finally waking up. "Aww, crap. I fell asleep. Damn". He gets up and runs off to find Ichigo and Rukia. It cuts back to the Hollow. "Can you raise your sword to this woman?" It laughs deviously. "You bastard. Do you have any idea what you're doing? Don't bring out...my mom's image...in a place like this!" Ichigo runs towards the Hollow, sword raised. The Hollow swings the puppet in front of Ichigo.

Ichigo stops, and the Hollow starts speaking through the puppet. When Ichigo is standing still, the Hollow forms a spear and plunges it into Ichigo's shoulder. "I told you, anger dulls the blade. It'll be over with the next attack, boy. Let me pay my respects to you. Of all the Death Gods i've encountered, you were the youngest, the most impulsive, and by far, the WEAKEST!" The Hollow charges forward at Ichigo. At the last minute, the puppet of Ichigo's mother glows and sparks of energy fly off it. The Hollow looks indifferent, but sounds shocked. "What's going on?". Rukia steps back in amazement. "Is that..." and the Death God who's standing by Rukia laughs. Ichigo is just standing before his mother. The other shinigami starts to speak. "That's the mother's soma. Her wish has taken form" Rukia doesn't look towards him, saying "Are you saying that the lure remembered his mothers dying wish?" As Ichigo looks on, his mother starts to speak.

"Ichigo. I'm so proud. Dad, Karin, Yuzu, and you, Ichigo. I'm truly proud to have known you". It shows flashbacks of the family's time together. "Ichigo, live. Be strong. Be gentle. And smile. Ichigo, thank you". Her 'soma' starts to float away, and disapears, along with the bright light. Ichigo kneels on the ground for a bit, just looking up at the sky. "Mom. So that's what you were thinking then". He looks back towards the Hollow. "Anger dulls the blade? You may be right. But you are wrong about one thing. To beat a loser like you, a dull blade is more than enough!" Ichigo grips the spear of hair and wrenches it out, charging toward the Hollow and piercing it next to the mask. It cuts to Tatsuki's house, where Orihime is leaving. Orihime is thinking "If i were the rain, that binds together the earth and the sky, who in all eternity will never mingle, would i be able to bind the hearts of people together?" She looks up towards to sky. "Kurosaki-kun, i feel like i can understand you a little bit". It goes back to Ichigo and the Hollow. Ichigo pushes his sword in more and then rips it out. The Hollow screams in pain and stumbles backward. "****! I will never forgive you!" It then warps away elsewhere. Ichigo stabs his sword in the ground, clearly out of breath and wounded. "Come back here!".

Rukia runs up to him to help him. "That's enough. Neither you nor he can fight anymore. The fight is over". "Not yet! He's not dead yet! I still haven't-" Rukia cuts him off. "Ichigo!". Ichigo colapses on Rukia, and she sets him down on the ground. "You survived, Ichigo. Thank you". The other Death God starts to talk. "He's one bad *** kid. A Death God's spirit energy is the same thing as his life force. Heh, he could become a monster some day". He turns around and puts on his hat, saying that he'll just make something up about Rukia not comming back. He then starts walking away. "Buh-bye". It fades on Rukia sitting there with Ichigo. Ichigo is now back at the shrine with his family. Karin and Yuzu are in the building asleep, and Isshin is outside. Ichigo walks up beside him, and then it fades to Ichigo at his mothers grave. He is saying sorry to his mother about not being able to avenge her. The off-screen, Ichigo's dad says as long as he can show her he is healthy, she can rest assured on the other side. Ichigo says to Isshin, as he pulls out a cigarette, that he thought he quit. Isshin then tells him that he smokes once a year, in front of her, because she complimented him on it when they started dating.

Ichigo then starts to get angry, asking why they don't blame him. Isshin tells him that it was nobody's fault that she died. It's just that she was a woman who would gladly die for her child. Isshin leaves Ichigo, telling him to live to the fullest. As Ichigo stands there, he starts to talk. "You listening, Rukia? Let me be a Death God for just a bit longer. I wanna get stronger. I wanna protect them. Otherwise, i won't be able to look mom in the eye". Rukia steps out from behind a tree She just smiles. "Ichigo".

Episode 10
There is a large crowd gathered around a stage in front of a hospital. The man on the stage is saying that they are broadcasting live from a condemned hospital where it is said 'you can hear the screams of angry spirits'. A woman next to him says "I wonder what we will witness this evening?" and the presenter continues on, saying "Now then, let us welcome our star. The charismatic spiritual medium for the new century, Hell's messenger, Mister Don Kan'onji!". The presenter gestures to the sky at a helicopter, and a man in a cape jumps from it. As he is falling in the sky, he shouts out to the crowd. "Spirits are always with you!". His parachute opens up, and it says 'Fancy Boy'.

It cuts to a few days before, at school. Orihime has her arms crossed over her chest, copying the actions of 'Don Kan'onji' (You'll find out later). "Bwahahaha". Ichigo steps back in suprise, and Orihime comments saying "That's a faint reaction...Don't you know what this is?". Ichigo replies to her "D-Drop in", reffering to when Don Kan'onji is going to drop from the sky at the hospital. "Bingo! It's a fun show, huh? Then you should come with us and Bwahah-" Orihime raises her hands in the air, about to say 'Bwahaha', but Tatsuki grabs her arms from behind, shouting 'Banzai'. Orihime turns around, seeing Tatsuki. "Tatsuki-chan?". "Yeah, yeah. I'll go with you to the 'Bwahaha'. She pushes Orihime away with her. Then Asano arrives in the corridor behind Ichigo. "Yo, Ichigo". Ichigo turns around and sees him.

Asano, Mizuiro and Chad are standing there with their arms crossed over their chests (Like orihime). They too say "Bwahahaha". It then goes to Ichigo and Asano in the classroom. Ichigo is staring out a window. "What do you mean you're not going?! it's the most popular show in Japan! On top of which, it's coming to Karakura to broadcast live! As a resident, if you don't go to see it, you might as well be dead!" Ichigo replies saying "I'm fine being a ghost. Beat it, beat it". "But i even invited...Kuchiki-san!".

It shows Rukia standing in front of the doorway, and she courtseys, saying "How are you doing, Kurosaki-kun?". Asano goes up to her. "Kuchiki-san, try this". He does the Don Kan'onji action, crossing his arms over his chest and saying 'Bwahahaha'. "Oh dear, i'm so embarassed. I just couldn't".

It goes back to Ichigo, who has a annoyed look on his face. The background fades, and it is back at the hospital, where they were at the start of the episode. Ichigo has the same look on his face as back at school. Everybody is cheering , and Don Kan'onji is standing on the stage. He calls out to the crowd. "Tonight i'll let all my babies hear the whispers of the spirits!". Everyone cheers more, and the female presenter from the start of the episode asks him "What do you think of our location, Kan'onji-san?". "My nose is filled with the smells of horrible spirits. This is no doubt...". The crowd finishes his sentance off. "Smells like bad spirits!". Don Kan'onji then crosses his arms over his chest and says "Bwahahahaha". The crowd follow suit. Ichigo just stands there with that annoyed look i talked about eariler. Smoke covers the stage, and a stage hand calls out "Cut to commercial break". It fades to black, and Ichigo says "I HATE ghost shows!".

The next scene starts with a security guard directing the crowd over to the 'Exorcism Area". Ichigo is standing by himself, and Orihime runs up to him. "I'm sorry about the other day. I didn't know you didn't like ghost shows". "It's ok. I'm not mad". Orihime cocks her head. "But you came anyway. Why's that?". Ichigo points to his family. "My little sister and my Pop are huge fans of the show". "That's why you came?". "Pretty much. It'd be kinda sad to make them go by themselves". Orihime tells Ichigo that he's nice, and Ichigo says "That's just normal". Orihime says "Right. It's normal". Tatsuki then calls out to Orihime from inside the crowd, saying "Hey, Orihime. I'm going without you!". Orihime raises her hand and says for her to wait, and she runs off to find Tatsuki. Just then, Rukia comes up behind Ichigo and says "What's wrong, Ichigo?". Ichigo turns around and Rukia is doing Don Kan'onji thing. Ichigo becomes annoyed and turns away. She tells him that there will be more difficult fights from now on, and that he should take this opportunity to stretch out and relax. She then says "By the way. What kind of festival is this?". "You came along without knowing anything?!".

It cuts to the hospital entrance and pans upward. Ichigo starts talking to Rukia. "Man, you think there's really ghosts in a condemned hospital like this?". Why do you ask?". "If there was, wouldn't you Death Gods have sent them to rest long ago?". "Not necessarily. The kind of ghosts in a place like this are usually earth-bound ghosts. They're usually absorbed in the ground, so they almost never show up on Soul Society's sensors. There is only one condition for earth-bound ghosts to show themsleves. Only When a human enters thier territory". A stage hand carrying a light is going to put it near the hospital, and he steps closer to the hospital. A small spark, presumably invisible to normal humans, comes from underneath his shoe, and a loud moaning cry comes from the hospital. Chad looks up instantly, and Asano and Mizuiro ask him what is the matter. Chad then asks them if they heard anything. Asano turns around and says "Cut it out, Chad. It gives me the willies". Mizuiro says to Chad that it might just be his imagination, and the Ghost moans loudly again. Chad just says "You're right. Sorry, it was my imagination".

It then shows Karin and Isshin. Karin is saying she shouldn't have come, and Ishhin asks her whats wrong. She just says it's nothing. Then it cuts to Orihime and Tatsuki. They are standing by themselves, and the ghost moans again. They look at each other worriedly. It goes back to Ichigo and Rukia. Rukia says that that was the scream of an earth-bound ghost. Ichigo says "That ain't the scream of a Hollow?". Rukia replies "You probably noticed there are a few patterns to Hollows' vocalization. One of those is made by and earth-bound ghost with a strong bond to this world as it degenerates into a Hollow while being neglected". "So he's...". "A plus on it's way to becoming a Hollow. A demi-Hollow" (A plus is what Soul Society calls a ghost, or the soul of a human). He sure does feel like a Hollow, but he doesn't have that white mask type thing. Also, the hole in his chest isn't fully open yet". "The hole in a Hollow's chest is a mark that they have losy their heart and become an embodiement of instinct.

The white skull shaped mask is a barrier to protect the exposed instinct from the physical world. Neither are necessary objects when one has a heart'. When a person dies, the chain of fate is severed from their body. They normally just wait for Death God's guidance, but those who have regrets in this world are chained down by the object of those regrets". There is a simple drawing of a person being chained down, and another of one being freed from their chain of fate. It zooms out to show Rukia holding up one of her trademark drawings. She continues saying "His heart is imprisoned in this hospital". It shows the ghost yelling "This hospital belongs to me. I won't let anyone have it! Keep the hell out you bastards!". A stage hand the calls out "Roll Camera" and Rukia exclaims that something is starting.

Don Kan'onji is standing in front of the crowd, and he says "Spirits are always with you! Bwahahaha". The crowd follow him, and Rukia is doing it too. Ichigo yells at her "Hey! Don't you care?". She responds "Don't worry. It usually takes months and months to become a Hollow". It moves to the presenter, who says to the crowd "Now then, Kan'onji-san's exorcism is finally about to begin. He says he's going to use his 'Super Spirit Stick' to end this now. Rukia tells Ichigo that before a ghost becomes a Hollow, they scream and writhe in pain. Kan'onji takes his Spirit Stick and thrusts it into the ghosts chain of fate hole. Ichigo and Rukia turn around in shock. Rukia says "That fool. That'll only speed up the transformation process". Ichigo runs out past the boundaries set up by the tv crew, and he is tackled by security guards. Then a cane comes from nowhere and seperates Ichigo's spirit from his body. Ichigo goes tumbling across the ground. He gets up and turns around to see Urahara and his gang there. He tells Ichigo to go and stop Don Kan'onji, so he does. He yells at Kan'onji to stop, and he looks up.

Ichigo dives in front of Kan'onji, and he goes flying. Kan'onji asks angrily what he is doing. Then the ghost starts screaming in pain, and it starts glowing, shortly before it explodes. As the smoke clears, Ichigo realises that it's gone. Kan'onji thinks he killed the spirit, and starts a victory speech. Rukia says to herself that once a demi-Hollow becomes a Hollow, it vanishes and is reconstructed somewhere else. Rukia yells at Ichigo to look up, and they see that a Hollow is forming on the roof of the buliding. Kan'onji yells at the Hollow to come down and face him, pushing Ichigo out of the way in the process. Ichigo stops the Hollow before it gets to him, and he forces it off. Kan'onji asks "Why don't you run away, boy?". Ichigo replies "No, why don't YOU run away already?". Ichigo drags Kan'onji inside the hospital (breaking the glass doors on the way). The crowd wonder what's happening.

Ichigo is dragging Kan'onji down the hall in the hospital. They stop, and Kan'onji asks why they are running away. Ichigo says that it was his (Kan'onji's) idea to run away. Kan'onji says that he can't run away because he's a hero. He starts walking back the other way, but Ichigo stops him. Ichigo says that the spectators are out there, and that they might get hurt when the Hollow is comming after them. Then the Hollow is heard screaming, and Ichigo turns around to see the Hollow come up through the ground. Ichigo gets out his sword and swings it. However, it gets stuck in the wall. After a a bit of a struggle to get it out, the Hollow shoots a kind of gooey substance out that binds Ichigo's hands. He waves his hands around, and the Hollow rushes at him.

Ichigo only has time to twirly around and strike the Hollow in it's shoulder. It gets stuck, and the Hollow goes up to the roof, with Ichigo hanging off it. Ichigo tumbles across the roof and he ends up facing off against the Hollow. Then Kan'onji comes up onto the roof, and calls out asking if he's okay. The Hollow rushes at him, and Ichigo runs up to try to save him, but he is forced back into the railing on the edge of the roof. The Hollow then shoots the gooey green stuff again, and Ichigo is stuck to the railing. Ichigo's eyes widen as the Hollow jumps up into the air and dives at him. Ichigo closes his eyes, but he isn't attacked. He opens his eyes again to see Kan'onji standing there with his Spirit Stick wedged in the Hollows mouth. Ichigo tells him to run away, but Kan'onji stops him. He says that he has some power too, if very little. He then clenches hist fist, and electricity starts comming off it. "Kan'onji-ryuuu Final Super Attack!".

A ball of energy forms in his hand, and he fires it at Ichigo. It doesn't go fast. however. It just floats over to him and explodes on the green goop. That frees Ichigo from the goo. Just then, Kan'onji's Spirit Stick breaks, and he is sent flying. The Hollow dashes after him, but Ichigo runs up beside it and smashes it into the railing. Ichigo slashes him through the head, and Kan'onji dances around in joy. Ichigo says for him not to get all giddy. Kan'onji is confused, and he says "If anything, you should be more excited". The hollows mask dissapears and the ghost that was tied to the hospital is left lying on the ground. Kan'onji is utterly confused. Ichigo explains that when the chain of fate is seperated from the hole in the ghosts chest, it becomes a hollow.

Kan'onji falls to his knees. He realises that he has been doing the wrong thing for years, and a tear runs down his face. Ichigo stops him. "Hey, that's enough crying for now, hero. Everyone's waiting for ya". Kan'onji gets up and steps forward to see the crowd. "What are you waiting for? Give 'em what they want. That's a hero's job, isn't it?". Kan'onji walks up to the edge of the building. "Mission Complete!" He does his trademark 'Bwahahaha'. Kan'onji turns to Ichigo. "That was a superb fight". He asks him to please lend him his strength in the future. "From now on, you are my....Number One Student!". Ichigo yells out "What?! I got demoted!" as the scene fades.

There is no last episode yet...the manga is still continuing to be published and therefore the show will continue....the manga recently ended the Soul Society arc and is now going onto another arc about the (i cant remember the name, but it is a group of Hollows who have removed their masks and are following Aizen)....

Urahara is definately awesome, but I don't know about owning everyone else, Ichigo could probably give him one hell of a fight currently. I hope we get to see Urahara's ban-kai at some point, it's gotta be awesome. What I really want to see is Ichigo frickin' trash the Ground-Fisher, I hate him so much... I also don't know why, but, and I'm probably wrong, but I don't think we've seen the end of Kaien, I see him reappearing somehow. Probably simply cause i want to have him see Ichigo, and vice-versa.

In the manga Byakuya says that BanKai forms are not as strong as they could be because a lot the reitsu(spelling?) goes into making it big. Ichigo's is different because it is small, so it has more power in it....but because of it's size Baykuya does not recognise it as a true Bankai.....

I love this thread :-) I need to find some manga. I hate waiting an entire week (sometimes 2) to see the anime. I like Ichigos look with the cape/mantle. They showed that he really got much stronger because he took out 3 vice-captains without using his soul slayer. That was the coolest 10 seconds of the episode. We finally get to see Rukai's ShiKai?! That took way too long! i've been waiting to see it since the term "ShiKai" first came to the manga....

Ichigo is one of those hollow/shinigami people kind of. Remember when it was said that people could become either a regular spirit(and then become a shinigami) or a hollow?The other hollow/shinigami people were originally hollows who managed to get control of their shinigami sides, and Ichigo is a shinigami whose hollow side is so strong that it has managed to break into his conscousness, but he has been able to keep it in check, for the most part...

It will definatly be in the show by episode 60. I can't really see Chad as an offensive asset, but he is good defensivly in most cases because he was almost indestructible, and if he gets his whole body covered in armor, we could be just as indestructible as he was when he was first introduced. He did not lose his indestructibility, but as the enemies became strong he was more and more vulnerable to them....

Uhhhh... I say he'd be great in both offense and defense...

Without his arm he could already fight like crazy... He could like... Run forever... He could survive a steel beam falling on his back, getting run into by a speeding motorcycle, He could break a telephone pole and use it like a baseball bat... Even Ichigo couldn't do most of the things he can... Chad has natural strength, stamina, and durability(Not to mention he recovers pretty fast)... The only thing that Ichigo is stronger than in is spiritual power...(And maybe speed.)

Now take all of that stuff chad has and add some of that armor...(Armor is not real... And may not even happen.) He would be insane...

Ha... I never said he could all those people on his own... But he would be insane...

Right now, I don't think Ichigo will be able to do crap on his own... I doubt Ichigo will go thru anymore training sessions, and if he does, then the anime/manga is gonna turn to crap...(Train, Fight, Train, Fight... aka Crap) Chad , Inoue, Ishida... They're all going to go through a strengthening process... It's so obvious right now since they made Chad look so weak when he's obviously strong...

It happens in just about every action/adventure manga... Once a good guys strength is shown as really weak/useless they go thru a transition to become stronger and it ends up leaving everyone in awe.... Happened to Ichigo... (After he trained he beat the gate guy really easy)...(After he trained the second time he beat Byakuya like he was nothing.)

And right now it's the others turn... Pretty obvious... Of course thier overall usefulness in battle isn't going to surpass Ichigo's since they aren't the main character...(If anyone does it'll be Ishida since he might not be on Ichigo's side anymore.)

The thing is... You're not looking at the big picture... You're stuck inside the world of Bleach... Step back and look at all the anime and mangas out there similar to Bleach...

Look at what happens... Something strong and evil appears... Everyone is then made to look weak, like they aren't strong enough... So they go into a strengthening period... This can tkae various forms... Through training, through travelling and adventuring, through fighting various enemies(some strong and some weak)... But in the end they become strong...

This is going to happen with Chad... (And the other people.)

It that happened, it could possibly be the highlight of the series for me...I do think there is a good chance of it happening. after Ichigo beat him, he was lying on the ground with his sword, and was wondering if it would speak to him, but he laughed afterward(i suspect this was just in self-doubt...)...

Actually not really... He beat Byakuya without the hollow... If I remember the manga correctly... The Hollow mask was coming out... But he ripped it off, told the hollow not to come out and he beat up Byakuya like he was nothing... If anything, the Hollow inside of him was being a hindrance...

And also... Don't compare Bleach with DBZ... DBZ has the worst leveling up stuff ever...

EX: The beginning of DBZ Picollo destroyed the moon with one shot(He's weak right now)... And later on in the series Frieza took how many episodes to destroy Planet Namek?? TOO FREAKIN MANY thats how many... It's pretty obvious that DBZ was fluzuating too much in everyones strength... If everyone was so strong they could destroy moons... They why couldn't Vegita destroy earth in one hit?? Why did it take so long for Frieza to detroy Namek...?? Yeah... Thats right... Don't compare DBZ to Bleach... -_-

And Inoue is already strong... If you see the series and manga... Everyone who knows about spiritual power sees Inoue and knows shes really strong... The thing is she's weak mentally... Tsubaki even says it... "Don't use me halfassed-ly..." (Something like that)... Tsubaki can cut through anything... But if the master's resolve isn't strong... He's not strong... When Inoue gets stronger mentally, she'll be able to hold her own... Believe me.

I remember in the manga (it was actually the first chapter I read of it) it showed Ichigo's face look different (the set-up where his colors get inverted) and then Byakuya was unable to do anything against him. Then Ichigo got back control, and they finished the fight.

I figured Inoue is strong spiritually, but she is the kind of person who's personality would never allow her to harm someone. She is much more fitted to be a healer/defender. She cares for all things, so Tsubaki (the one that cuts things) is essentially useless for Inoue.

I know that Bleach is not NEAR the level of DBZ (thank god) but Ichigo will need to power up SOMEHOW. Any thoughts on how that might occur? Because in the chapter where he attacked Aizen (even though Ichigo was mostly dead) Aizen was able to block his sword with one finger (then held off the attacks of almost everyone else in the 13 squads if I remember correctly.)

That is because Urahara PWNZ....that is not a term i use too much either.....And he did achieve BanKai in 10 days, so that says something about him. Ichigo is probably about the same as Urahara was when Urahara was 16 or 17(how old is Ichigo now?)...if that is assumed, it would be safe to say that since Ichigo is one of the strongest characters in the story Urahara would be like Ichigos power many, many times over because of the all time he has had to train himself and improve his skills....

Ichigo's talent does not make him stronger than Urahara is. If they were the same age, Ichigo would surely be stronger than Urahara, but the fact is that Urahara did have hundreds of years of training and fighting to get stronger, whether he trained in the human world or not. Ichigo is not necessarily as strong as Urahara yet, but he does have the potential to be.

Just saw episode 57. Incredible. However, I thought the flashback between Soi Fon and Yoruichi was a little too long. But, they made it up in the end when Ichigo dominated Byakuya. Can't wait to see the next episode.

On the Rukia topic, she does have some potential, but not enough to be as strong as a captain. Ichigo on the other hand, is the rare "Prodigy" that Yoruichi spoke of. Urahara attained Ban-Kai in three days, Ichigo achieved it in Two. Urahara got kicked out of the soul society (Banned and stuff) 'Cause of Gigai and what not. I've got a theory that Ichigo's father has the Gigai, which is why he is in the normal world. Notice how when Ichigo fights his mother's killer, The tiger guy in Ichigo's body was near his mother's grave. Ichigo's father didn't adress him as Ichigo. Oooh, the plot thickens.

Another difference between Urahara and Ichigo is Ichigo is half Friggin' Shinigami and Hollow. He's the Vizard. The hollow mask of his kept on showing up, even after being thrown away. Also, the ..something...Grande is the soldier of the hollows - check that out for size. O_o;

Episode 58 = The bomb. In a nutshell, Ichigo finally whipped out his Ban-Kai and pretty much owned Byakuya. The next episode should prove worthwhile - things are starting to pick up again.

If ichigo wanted to, he could have ended the fight with that first attack(when he put his BanKai to Byakuya's throat). Then Ichigo's hollow-thing took over just for a minute, and Ichigo was way better than Byakuya. Ichigo supresses the hollow, and returns to normal. The fight continues, and Ichigo gradually becomes tired because of the speed his BanKai gives him.....i'll stop here because this conversation doesn't require going past this point...

Well, in my theory at least, when Ichigo is weak or in danger of dying, the hollow inside of him comes out because it is trying to take control over Ichigo's Shinigami half, so when he is injured, it comes out to help heal Ichigo and because Ichigo is no longer able to hold it back when he is in an involuntarily unconscious state. The hollow exists as a result of his training to become a Shinigami after being beaten by Renji and Byakuya, when Ichigo barely made it out of the hole-in-the-ground, placing him on the border-line of becoming either a hollow or a shinigami. to put this simply: Shinigami---Hollow : Ichigo is the red line. he is both a shinigami and a hollow. The proper term is a Vizard, as mentioned in the manga.

... Ikkaku's Bankai. It's unlikely that he gained it between his fight with Ichigo.
So he could've beaten him with it so during their fight, if he has gotten is Bankai out.
But we still would've have to consider Ichigo being a Vizard and i don't even think both terms were invented yet at the time of that fight.

Episode 59 was great. They finally reveal Ichigo as a Vizard. If you haven't watched it, go watch it. He basically owns BK in about three seconds. It's incredible.

Chapter 205 anyone? Oh man, this fight is getting more and more suspense full. Ikkaku's BanKai is awesome, the Arrancar have crazy zanpakutous, and they just collided causing a giant explosion. Anyone have any guesses about what will happen in Chapter 206? What happened to Ikkaku?

I think that Ikkaku managed to kill Eduardo, but will be out for a while to to serious injuries. If you think about it, they would probably not re-introduce him, give him new abilities, and then kill him off.

Well, while I believe that both Inoue and Rukia are interestd in Ichigo, and that Ichigo does have some feelings for Rukia, Ichigo has yet to realize Inoue's feelings for him. The way that i see it is that if the show does develop a romantic side, Ichigo will probably be with Rukia, and Inoue will realize that Ichigo does not like her the way she likes him, and she will gradually get over it and turn toward Ishida.

He's a Captain and a Noble. In his eyes he has to obey the rules no matter what. Even if Rukia is family he has to follow the rules.
Think of it this way: It's like if George Bush knew that his brother broke the law in order to win an election in a state like say...um...Florida, as an authoritative figure he would have to punish him in the proper way, right? OK, sorry, bad example.
He obviously does not want her to die but he has a very strong sense of duty. It just seems to me that he doesn't have to be so cold about it.

Byakuya still had more left but I think he left it alone because he really did not want Rukia to die, especially due to the whole situation with his wife.

I don't think he really took the fight with Ichigo as seriously as he could have. He did not even use the full power of his second bankai (the one where the swords surrounded them like a cage).

No, not at all. Byakuya's power was slowly decaying like ichigo's. If ichigo went back into his hollow form, Byakuya wouldn't have stood a chance. Why? Because Ichigo's hollow form is something completely different. Ichigo puts strains on himself to not use up all his power. Ichigo hollow...Not so much. Their powers combined is what we're going to see next in the manga. Probably ichigo learning to control the powers - with the help of his captain father of course.

Well... i read the manga first, and to me it looked like completely owned Byakuya... And even if Byakyua went on and was able to walks away and stuff... That doesn't change the fact that Ichigo entered the fight after 3 straight days of training, RIGHT after he learned his bankai...

But instead he chose to play fair and beat Byakuya's BanKai... The entire time Ichigo wasn't really taking Byakuya seriously until he activated his BanKai...

And I'm gonna add AGAIN... Ichigo fought several people... Vice Captains and Captains... AND trained for 3 days straight... AND went to fight Byakuya RIGHT AFTER the training... AND went to go on fighting some more after that...

ALSO, he was holding back his Hollow the entire time... He COULD have let him out and beat Byakuya easy but of course, Ichigo doesn't want to let the hollow out... Once he got weaker he couldn't hold the hollow back anymore and BAM! Increase in power, but loss of control over his body, the power is still his, it's not the Hollow's power... The hollow just knows how to use it more efficiently than Ichigo...

Plus on top of that, there was a hot spring where he was training that had a healing effect. By time he was ready to fight Byakuya, he was pretty much fresh. Unless you count the tre Vice Captains he beat in about 1.7 seconds.

It neer showed him in teh spring after he learned BanKai... I think he went there right away... He had bandages on... Meaning he wasn't healed... e healed in between the practices, yes... but he went right away to save Rukia after achieving banKai...

And Youruichi told Byakuya that she was going to train Ichigo and he'd be better than him.. Yourichi being Byakuya's old sensei, I think he'd know that she was't bluffing and was expecting a strong Ichigo... He also saw an example of his speed and power from beating those vice's easily... And he blocked his flash hit easy as well...

Byakuya knew what he was getting into and was basically beaten once Ichigo pointed that bade to his throat... He was owned... But Ichigo gave him a chace only because he wanted to beat BYaKuya's BanKai.... If he wanted to kill Byakuya, he would have done so...

Also... the Shinigami part of ichigo.... I would consider this guy basically Ichigo... They share the same body and they asre basically one person...

Agreed. Although it is a very different personality, it is, nontheless, Ichigo. It could easily be called Ichigo's "dark side". I would not compare it to Kyuubi, because Kyuubi originally existed outside of Naruto and was forced inside of him. Ichigo's "hollow" was created in Ichigo at the same time as his "shinigami" self, although Ichigo's shinigami side had been attached to Ichigo's consciousness, and the shinigami side along with Ichigo's consciousness was able to supress the hollow side. It is like he has a split personality; the hollow does not live inside him, it is him.

When Urahara had Ichigo down in that big hole in the training grounds he made under his shop, Ichigo had to make it out of the hole and become a shinigami, or if he failed to get out before the chain on his chest destroyed itself, he would become a hollow. The made it out in the last split second, exactly as the chain destroyed itself, so he became half shinigami and half hollow.

As for what Shinigami Ichigo said, yes, I can really see that happening....I don't think Toushiro should have a romantic interest. He seems more like the passive or apathetic type to me...He's too awesome to have a romantic interest....

As for Aizen and Gin, they have been in league the whole time. They have been pulling strings, and so has Urahara, but for a different team...

Yes, I can definatly see a Hitsugaya/Gin fight in the future, although I will not even try to predict the outcome. I have a feeling that if Ishida returns, (some difficulties will arrise between him+his father's views, and the shinigame. He will probably be an enemy for a while until Ichigo knocks some sense into him) he will be the one to take Tousen..if just seems like an interesting match up...
I'd say leave Kira to Rukia...just to see him and his stupid hair get owned....

As for Ichigo fighting Nameless...definatly. Probably in a way similar to how he fought Zangetsu to achieve BanKai, or maybe in the same way he fought agaisnt Nameless before(after Kenpachi broke Zangetsu and sliced Ichigo).

It is the false-body that Urahara gave her when she lost her powers. I forget all of the details, since it has been a while since I read that, but it is some kind of special body that Urahara made when he was a shinigami, and as some strange ability, and so, Aizen and Gin want it for----something you shouldn't know yet.

If anyone could give the details, that would be nice...I forgot them...

It is not the body itself that Aizen is interested in. It is a device that Urahara invented while in Soul Society, which is the reason he was banished. That device is something that allows Shinigami to become Hollows, and vice versa, at will. That is why there are so many Arrancar now (I think).

And since I'm not reading the manga, as for predictions, I think the predictable thing will be for Ichigo to beat Aizen eventually after losing a lot of blood and getting his *** kicked a few times, but Hitsugaya and Gin is a good bet. Well, I think the reason Ichigo was so ineffective was because he was busy trying to keep his Hollow in check. It didn't leave him much opportunity to fight. And for those Renji fans, he is a very good character, but as of the newest chapter I believe he is 0-5: Ichigo, Ichigo, Byakuya, Aizen, Arrancar (don't know the name). I am more worried about how Hitsugaya is going to come out against his Arrancar opponent.

I have to go with Mista's theory about how Ichigo works, even though it is Hitsugaya. Hitsugaya will most likely lose the fight, but live, and he will begin training to become stronger. Something similar will happen to all of the characters. They either lose and begin training, or win and say they are not strong enough and begin training. I think Urahara will begin to play a more important role after this series of fights, but he too will have difficulty defeating the strongest of the Arrancar.

Unfortunatly, that is likely to happen. In DBZ, when they were on Namek, it was said that Super Saiyan is the highest power a Saiyan could reach, and that one Super Sayain comes around every 3,000 years (not quite sure how i remembered that), but by the end of the series, all of the characters were Super Saiyans, and some had reached other levels of the Super Sayain.
Bleach seems likely to follow this direction. There will most likely be a release beyond BanKai, which may be similar to the way the Arrancar release their zanpakutous, or something entirely different. Perhaps the zanpakutou will join with part of their body, similar to the Alter powers of Ryuho and Kazuma in s-CRY-ed. I doubt the Bleach shinigami characters themselves will grow stronger, but their zanpakutous seem very likely to gain more power, especially if you consider the constant mention of zanpakutou abilities in the current fight against the Arrancar.

Every opponent that notices her powers say how incredible it is... And the only thing that's making it weaker is her mental state... She needs to be in the "I need to protect this person" state... I say she'll be really strong and burst out with some crazy move with Tsubaki later on since so far she's failed with him...

Also, she controls/distorts time, she doesn't heal(Well she does heal but she does so by turning back time, it's not actual healing.)... I think her potential may be even greater than Ichigo's.

I think Inoue can and will become much stronger. Just the nature of her powers make her dangerous. The more determined she is the stronger her powers get. If she changes her mindset and becomes more agressive there is no telling how strong her powers can get. She would need more training but she definitely has potential.

Wouldn't the earlier situation with Sado have counted in the same category? As I remember it, her power was defeated VERY easily at that time, so I cannot see her as a fighter. I think of her more as I would a "white mage". She comes in handy after the fight, or purely for support. Among Ichigo's group, the one I think I would like to see get stronger the most is Sado. I mean, I think it is very cool the way he and Ichigo have that promise to keep ("At this rate, the promise to watch each other's backs would be nothing more than a joke, right, Ichigo.")

True... I would think that way also except for one thing... Tsubaki.

She has an attack... One that could be VERY strong... Can cut through anything, if I remember correctly(If shes in the proper mental state of course.)..

And the last two times she's used Tsubaki he's been either damaged or crushed...

This makes me believe that she's either going to train to use Tsubaki and her other powers more OR she's going to go berserk and have some insane killing intent and completely own somebody with Tsubaki.

1. The Arrancar are high level hollows (Menos Grande and some stronger types) which have taken off their masks and gained shinigami powers and zanpakutous.

2. As far as the manga has gone, Yoruichi does not have a zanpakutou that we have seen.

3. The series is called "Bleach" because of Ichigo's hair. It was said early on in the series that he was made fun of and picked on because people thought he had bleached hair, although it is actually his natural hair color. What that has to do with anything, I do not know...
