Question 1: Is there a way to move layers up and down? For example, could I make a character layer, then decide I want to put something under the character layer? And actually accomplish this?

Question 2: How do I make diagonal lines and actually have them be even? Is it just a trial-and-error thing?

Question 3: What the best way to use a brush (grunge brushes for example, which I hear so much about)? I usually just make a background, put the extracted character on there, and put a name, but I'm trying to really learn these things from people who do this on a regular basis.

Layer comps: there you will see the layers you can drag them to the place you want. The closer you put them twards the background the further back it will become.

Q2: I would cut and past maybe i never had that problem trying making the line and copying by selcting it and going to edit copy.

Q3: well I just recently learned the function of the Art/History brush. I sometimes add a rectangle around the whole picture and use the history brush to reveal to the way I like it also makes different color scemes on your pic. The Art brush modifyes the curent colors I think im not really sure but im experimenting ill show (http://rimbizz.com/?go=show&url1=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.animeforum.com%2Fnewreply.ph p) you what I have learned.

Q#1= easy task. All you have to do is click on the "new layer" icon on the layer box. You can create as many layers as you want and order them anyway you want.
!!... haha.. i'm talking about photoshop so if you have another program... i can't help ya.:D
