The Journey: Tale of the Legendary Phoenix

bic- Pugz grabbed Liinna before Kobu could strike then jumped back to Drgn's side. She put Liinna down and placed her hand on her head "Drgn told you not to be so hastey" She looked over and Kobu as he laughed "Pugzy, I don't know why you bother. They'll find those scars eventually, they always do" Kobu began to laugh more. Pugz gulped and walked slowly towards him. "Fighting me are ya? Or is Roku going to do the fighting for ya? Yeah, you remember what happened to you last time we fought right?" "No...i'm fighting you, Kobu" She slowly drew her knife and the one he threw at her "Ha! 2 little knives against my sword? What's that going to acomplish?" "Quite a lot when you put your mind to things" "Oh please, you're too scared!"
It was true she was scared, but she still prepared herself for a fight. Kobu made the first move, trying to strike her with his sword. She blocked it with her knives and was forced to one knee. Kobu kicked her in the face and she flew back a few feet, Kobu leapt into the air to strike her again but she rolled out of the way and flipped to her feet, only to have Kobu kick her into a tree. "Is that all you got, sister?". Pugz sat limp against the tree and coughed slightly "I'm...not your s-sister" "Pugz, we gotta switch" "No...you always fight my battles" "Well...there's one other option..." "It's worth a shot..." Pugz closed her eyes and soon opened them, they had turned a browny-green Pugz and Roku had become one. They slowly stood and looked at Kobu. "What?" He stood there stunned "What is this? Which one are you?" "We are neither Pugz nor Roku...we are one.." Kobu was now the one who was scared, he started to retreat as they moved forward. They raised their hand and Kobu began to float in the air, they threw him around into trees and into the ground. They stopped their attack and let him float there, they aproached him "We're gonna make sure you don't harm either of us again" They threw him into a tree and threw the third knife at him, it hit him in the chest. "One down...one to go..." They fell onto their knees and fell forward.

Marth was stunned when he saw Lyon run away just as he approached him. "I... guess we're not suppose to meet..." Marth said wiht a slight smile, and then looked up to Shiori. He smiled, seeing her face again. "The day went by so quickly..." He said just loud enough fo her to hear, but he was distraced when he senced the fight going not too far off. Without moving, the dragon looked in the direction that the whole group had ran in. Pugz was fighting this strange character who she seemed to be calling 'Kobu'.

The battle took no more than ten minutes, and it was hardly worth watching. Those two are complete ammatures, they have no skill with blades. The win could go to either one. He thought, as he prepared to jump in if neccesary. As the fight drew to an end, Marth was struck with a strong energy which seemed to be coming from Pugz. He watched closely for he was still an observer. Anything that could aid him in a fight, or anything that he should be prepared to watch out for was important knowledge. Pugz finished the intruder, throwing a knife into his chest.

Just then as the enemy died, Pugz fell forward. "So I take it that a soul fusion is very draining." Marth smiled, not worrying much about Pugz and the other force that she had combined with. He knew they'd be fine, and Drgn was right there to help heal her if anything got too serious. But what did that man... Kobu mean when he mentioned scars? The dragon couldn't help but wonder.

Marth turned away from the fight that had just ended, and looked at Shiori. He noticed the pendant that she was wearing, the one that Lyon had inquired about. "How was your day?" He asked, wanting to make sure that nothing was wrong. He knew that Shiori was probably thinking about her people and her family. He could tell by the way she looked at her new pendant.

Pugz groaned and rolled onto her back, her eyes were brown again. "Man i'm hungry" She grinned, her wounds- if any - didn't matter to her and she tried standing. She wobbled a little bit "Yknow....i'm tired..." She fell flat on her back again, falling asleep before she even hit the ground. Roku shook her head and laughed "Typical Pugz..." She then looked over to Kobu "Yes, they may find out...they may see those scars, but when they find out who gave them her...they'll stand by her"

Shiori looked rather shocked and surprised by what Lyon had said about his mother making the pendant that she held. She was about to answer him, but he had left as quickly has he had come to ask her about the pendant. "...His mother? Then is she of the same tribe?" she wondered to herself, looking down at the ruby and diamond dragons that were in her hand. Could it be... she asked herself, but was interrupted by Marth.

Shiori looked towards him and nodded as she agreed with him about how the day was going by so fast, showing him the pendant that she had recieved. "My day was fine," she stated. "Drgn went ahead and bought me this pendant, which I find to be very peculiar," she murmured, closing her eyes for a moment. "It seems too familiar for some reason, and that's what so strange!"

Marth smiled. "It's been just over two weeks, Shiori. Maybe we should head back to the volcano... you're mother's home. We've left a huge problem behind there, and we were bound to head back someday. Maybe someone there... a relative might know something about the pendant." He said. Marth looked over to the group again, then back the the pendant. He sat down by a tree and closed his eyes. "Tonight we celebrate. I suppose after that we can put more thought into this... but right now, we just need to take a break."

Marth was still deep in thought. Hopefully the elf plans on telling the group about the Phoenix tonight. We have little time to spare, and training is important. We have a lot to take care of in only one month's time... I don't know what will happen when it's over... Who will survive is still a mystery. All his life, Marth knew this day would come, but he never knew that he would have fallen in love just in time for it. Marth knew he couldn't die now... he had Shiori to live for, and he had Shiori to protect.

I have dug myself this hole, and Fate has thrown me into it... "As wise as I have become... this has still remained a mystery to me. The Days of The Phoenix have begun, and in short time, the untold legacy shall be born." Marth practically mumbled to himself, not sure if anyone was able to make out that words he said. Even Shiori who was standing only a few feet away from him may have had trouble hearing it. "My only question..." Marth began to mumble again, "...is who will help me out of this hole?..."

Shiori closed her eyes for a moment and gave a small nod as she listened to what Marth said about going back to the volcano. "Yes, you're right. There might be news about what really happened to my mother, plus I would like to gather information about the pendant. Lyon seems to think that his mother made this, but I'm not sure, because it feels like I've seen this before," she told Marth, frowning for a moment. She then shook her head and placed the chain around her neck, letting it hang there. The gems gleamed slightly from the light.

The half breed frowned a little as she looked towards Marth, not making out all of what he was saying. It was something about a pheonix? Legacy? A hole? What was he talking about? "...Marth? Is something on your mind?" she asked.

Haldir noticed blurs all around him and hearing 'pink sugar surprise'. 'What in the gods names does that mean whoa wait its bloody magic,' he thought to himself. "FORCE SLICE," haldir yelled raising his sword and hitting the ground sending a wave of energy at amazon knocking her five feet back. "Pretty neat trick with slowing me down," he said raising his sword from the ground. "I may not be a god but this sword is just as powerful as yours," he said and his sword started glowing a pale white.

bic - Lyon slid to a halt on the outskirts of the fight where Pugz and some other strange man were fighting. He didn't dare intervene - Drgn wasn't, and he knew if he tried it would only create more troubles. Eventually however, the fight ended. The man collapsed, most likely dead, then after a brief moment he saw Pugz fall forward, then complain of hunger. Out of the blue, he burst out laughing, rolling backwards onto the floor, his eyes teeming with tears, unable to keep a straight face after that comment*

Huron put his hand on his head “Ow my head” Huron said. Huron then tried to get to his feet by put his hands on the tree and tried to clime to his feet.
When Huron got his feet and put a hand on his face.

Drgn took his hand from his hilt and placed it by his side as Pugz threw the dagger at the man's chest. It was the first killing Drgn had seen since before he met Liinna, and the rest of them, a week ago. He was astonished by the determination in Pugz's eyes, although, the foe was very easy to kill, if only they had know the proper technique or soul fusion. Drgn had a strong feeling that this soul fusion technique would prove very useful in the future, against the Chimera. There would be at least five elite, fused warriors from Drgn's company, fighting together. This inspired him to learn the technique, and to have his entire group learn it as well...for it would be essential to their success.

He lifted Pugz up over his shoulder and carried her back to the camp. "Let's go everyone...we shall rest." He brought her out from the forest and took a smooth look at Marth, He's thinking about the Phoenix...well Marth, I do too...and tonight, as you wondered, shall be the revealing of the secret to the group... Drgn layed Pugz down by the fire pit and started up a fire for the group to get comfortable around.

Drgn sat beside Marth and spoke to him, "Marth, tonight, I will tell them. We must be prepared, you are right. I will try my best to tell the whole story. If I miss anything, please feel free to fill it in." He continued to sit beside Marth as the sun slowly set. Drgn thought about the Phoenix for some time as the rest of the group did their own things. He got up, "Let the celebration begin everyone! He took the large slab of meat that he bought and put a stick through its centre. He held it over the fire and watched it cook.

bic- Amazon had been knocked back by Haldirs attack, but she recovered quickly, planting her feet down so that she wouldn't go any farther. "And it's not 'magic', it's 'spiritual energy'. I'm no magician I'm a warrior." she moved into another fighting stance, then noticed Haldir's sword glowing. What the--? but she tried to focus on her target. "Okay, you think your swords as strong as mine? Well even if it is, it's the person behind the sword that makes the difference. So feel free to attack me anytime Haldir!" she said, waiting for him to attack....

*coming back to his senses (when he noticed Drgn was leaving, as was everyone else he knew) he got back to his feet and followed them. He kept looking at Pugz, wondering if she really was okay. She didn't look like anything was seriously wrong. Like she had said, she was most likely just hungry. He stopped next to Shiori. He knew she wanted to say something to him. But, rather than let her know he was listening, he was more intent on seeing whether Marth was coping with a red dragon*

Haldir closed his eyes and took a step sideways with his right shoulder facing her. "Alright," was all he said when he ran toward her. His blade tip was slicing through the ground like it was water. When he reached her, he bent down and came up with two hands on the handle.

"Not good enough!" She could see where he was coming from. Since he had both hands on his sword, it ment he had added strength to his attack. But unfortunately for him, it also limited his defense. And since he was going upwards on the stroke, the best move would not to be to jump over him, but to counter his attack with an attack from underneath.

She determined this all in a matter of seconds, like she had done so many times before. It was a part of her training, learning how to use every advantage in battle to it's fullest, and also to show no signs of weakness.

So, like she planned, she ducked under the sword, bringing the hilt of her own sword into Haldir's gut, knocking him back. She spun around and followed up with a backlash of her sword, attempting to knock Haldir's sword out of his hand.......

o.c.c. Ya, Mac, I have the same problem. My home comp doesn't like the site either, it get's really annoying, especially when I'm busy on thursdays and fridays (4 days without AF). So I'll give you guys the same warning, I might not be on during the weekend.

b.i.c.Marth heard Shiori's question, and there definately was something on his mind. "Shiori, it's hard to expl-" Just then, Marth was cut off by Drgn's thoughts. He said that the group would be told of the Phoenix. Drgn walked over and sat by Marth explaining his plan, and then left. Marth stood and nodded him off, understanding what would be done. The dragon then turned from his distaction and looked at Shiori again. "Shiori..." He took her hands in his own, "...soon... by the end of the night you'll know what's on my mind, but until then, just try to relax and not think about me. Celebrate what we have... If you need me, I'll be near-by. just call for me."

He was about to walk away when Lyon came over. Marth gave him a quick glance and spoke, "Child, you are a fool to fear me. The fact that you are a red dragon has been appearent since this morning. If I wanted you dead, I would have killed you already. I'm the last of my kind...The last black dragon... Holding onto petty quarels that my people had held so dear is pointless now." Marth looked over to the group by the fire pit, then back to Lyon, still holding onto Shiori's hands. "Besides, you're one of our family now, I wouldn't harm you." The dragon paused, "I'm surprised you hadn't realised that I was no threat, seeing as how the woman I love is partially a dragon of fire. You realy should think more." He said with a smile.

Marth then looked back to Shiori. "Like I said, call for me if you need me." He kissed her on the forehead, and let go of her. He walked away into the now darkening woods. Marth made his way throught the forest, and found a cliff, below it was another huge forest. The was nothing but woods for miles. He sat on the ledge. I may have to begin numbering my days... Marth thought, knowing he might have to sacrifice himself in the end. For now, there were a large number of lives resting on his shoulders, and Shiori's above all others. He would ensure that none would die, even if it meant sacrificing himself.

I was unsure whether you were a dragon. I haven't heard of black dragons for over five years. I thought they were all dead. I apologise.

It is that reason alone I felt concerned about my safety. But, I will take your word. I know to trust the words of friends, especially those of my own race.

Shiori frowned a little when Marth told her by the end of the night she would know, but for a moment she had felt like she didn't want to know. The way that Marth was speaking, it seemed like there was something bad that would be revealed, and she didn't want anymore bad things to be happening. Too much was already laid on quite thick over her thoughts. "...Marth..." she whispered softly as she gave his hands a squeeze. Her words ceased after saying the name of the black dragon, her love. For some reason, she didn't know what to say after that.

"I'm surprised you hadn't realised that I was no threat, seeing as how the woman I love is partially a dragon of fire. You realy should think more." He said with a smile.Shiori smiled at this and shook her head a little bit. She was surprised as well that the red dragon didn't realized that she was a dragon of mixed blood. However, she really didn't tell Lyon that he should pay more attention. Marth had done a good job of stating that himself. "Yes," she said softly. "I'm a half light, half fire dragon...At least half of me is half of that," she began, then blinked a little. "Hmm...That must have sounded confusing," she murmured.

Marth then looked back to Shiori. "Like I said, call for me if you need me." He kissed her on the forehead, and let go of her.Shiori smiled when he placed a kiss on her forehead, and almost followed after Marth, but she remained where she was. She knew that the black dragon wanted to be alone for some reason or another. She just wished that she knew why and what he was so troubled about. She found herself unable to wait for Drgn to explain things, but she would have to tough it out and keep her patience in tact.

"Yes," Shiori answered to Lyon and smiled as she placed her hand gently over the pendant. "...Are you from the Fire's Light clan by any chance?" she asked, frowning a little bit.

*then, a question flooded his head. were they related? he found himself turning red at the thought. it was possible ...... seeing as she knew of them. Plus she liked the pendant. that was why she'd made it. It was signification of importance of dragons to other races, as well as it holding the clan's fire and light stature within it*

"So...You are from that clan..." Shiori whispered, then smiled. "Well, this is most definately a surprise! My mother is from that clan, which I just found out about before I joined up with Drgn and the others again!" she stated. "I'm not really from that clan, though," she stated, shrugging. The thought of her and this boy being related didn't really cross her at the moment.

Shayan followed the group, eating as well as talking when they got back. "That was tough, though who was that, Pugz?" she asked.

The diamond glowed. It hurt her head. "Ow!" she said as she reached for her head to rub it. An unleashed power had come to her. She could hear everybody's thoughts. It hurt. There were too much. But one she could hear very well.

'Well Marth, I do too...and tonight, as you wondered, shall be the revealing of the secret to the group...' 'What secret? Is it something they're keeping away because someone, or all of us will get hurt?' she thought. She continued to eat and talk awkwardly, looking at everyone.

Huron started to walk to the fire pit still holding his head with his left hand. Huron then dropped to his knees and began to think about what the voice said in his dream. “I don’t understand what did he mean?” Huron said to him self as he was trying to get warm.

... your mom is from that clan? ....

*he had to think. There was a real possibility they were related ...... but on the other hand, she hardly looked dragon, unlike him. You could spot that from him from half a mile. She looked more human than anything else...*

*he sighed and leant to one side on the hell of his right foot, looking at her. For once, me managed to keep his attention on her, not the pendant*

Shayan had a feeling that necklace had something. The effect stopped. So she wore it. When she came back out, she felt different. 'This necklace is a good omen.' she thought. Eating some things Drgn had bought, she held the dimond close, as if it was something that could be gone the moment you let go.

Meanwhile...

"Thsi cannot be happening!" Sheila yelled. "I will find that wretch. I will." Sheila said.

At camp...

Shayan kept laughing and doing the usual. But she stopped when she felt someone's presence. 'Sheila..' she thought. She walked to the forest, not saying a word. "Shayan!" Sheila called. Shayan turned. Sheila was sitting on a tree. Sheila looked at the diamond. "The Diamond of Jaken (cruel) Hell?" Sheila said. "Where ever would you get this?" Sheila asked. Shayan didn't answer. "Where?!" Sheila said as she shook her arm. Shayan smiled. "I missed the part where I would tell you that." Shayan said.

"You wretch!" Sheila yelled as she punched Shayan. Shayan felt the blood on her mouth. She still smiled. "Chariot of Flames!" Shayan yelled. Sheila was thrown. Shayan walked up to her. "Don't expect me to say anything!" Shayan said. Sheila began to fight. The fight was on.

Shiori smiled a little and ran a hand through her hair, looking at Lyon with a smile. "Well, you see, my mom left for...a certian reason. She ended up marrying an elf. So, I'm half elf, while the other half of me has dragon blood running through my viens!" she explained.

Pugz had seen Marth kiss Shiori on the forehead "Figures.." She mumbled and sat up with a stretch "So, what's cooking Drgn? It smells good" She yawned and layed back down "If it's not done i'll go to sleep a little bit longer, unless you want me to get something"

Sheila finally got Shayan and head locked her. "You see, hun. When you don't cooperate, you get hurt." Sheila said. Shayan shuddered. Sweat was just dripping down, her tears were drawn back. "Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!" she screamed. Sheila tightened it. It caused her to gasp. Blood was beggining to churn in her.

Most dragons that have been incountered in the first part of the Journey were either in human-form or dragon-form. the dragon-form is the natural form, but they can take on a humanoid figure. Lyon i guess... doesnt have the ability to take on a completely humanoid form... maybe it's genetic or something... like a mutation in his blood line, i dunno.

2)I'm probably not going to post, until Flame gets the story moving. when the party starts, Marth is coming back in. But you can go bother him if you want, I'll respond to that.

3)sw33t ang3l, you've been doing a lot for this story. You've come in, and you're already posting frequently, and you're also helping in the sign-up threads. I just wanted to say thanks on behalf of me and... well whoever else appreaciates it.

"My elven side," Shiori said with a sigh before continuing. "That side has caused me much pain, so I rather despise having it," she stated, now fiddling around with the pendant that she wore around her neck. "Part of me wishes that my mother hadn't left the clan..."

BIC: Shayan still fought. She was able to come out of Sheila's headlock. "Ugh." she said. She was doing elemental spells and fighting skills for so long. Sheila finally gave up and retreated. "Remember, this isn't the last time I'm going to fight you." Sheila warned. Shayan was able to go back. Her wounds or any sort of scars were gone. (remember that post when she was fighting a beast and then she failed and this guy tried to heal her but her wounds were healed already?) She was tired though.

"Sorry, some problems of mine had to be taken cared of." she said. She ate again, doing the usual. But she thought alot for the night. 'The Diamond of Jaken Hell?' she thought. Shayan had a flashback. She remebered that the woman selling it looked normal but had a bad presence. She sighed.

BIC: Drgn looked up to Pugz as she was the first one to accompany him by the fire. "Well, Pugz, I'm cooking the beef I bought. It is fine quality and should feed about three people tonight. If you want some, you'd better tell me now, before everyone else decides to have it!" Drgn smiled. Pugz had been with the group for roughly six hours now, and already, a bond was forming between the group and her. Drgn was glad to see this, and glad to see everyone having a good time in the afternoon.

He looked up at the group, scrolling by each one of them, making sure none were alone. They were all being social and having fun. "Oh no...I forgot..." Drgn waved his hand around to get everyone's attention. "We need music! Somebody go to town and hire some minstrels for tonight. I will put the money on the floor." Drgn said, dropping the bag of gold in the middle of the campsite. "Hurry, nightfall is near!" It was almost time for the sun to set past the horizon. It must have been around seven or eight o'clock.

BIC- Pugz picked up the bag "I'll go, it's the least i can do, and save me some of that meat" She smiled and got to her feet and headed to the village "You sure you're strong enough?" "Aww you're worried about me, how sweet" Pugz smirked "This is my body too!" Roku frowned "We'll be fine Roku, it's not that far"

b.i.c. Marth sat, just waiting, but not knowing what for. He payed close attention to the camp, not wanting to miss anything of importants. When Drgn would begin to tell the group of the Phoenix, Marth would come back to fill in any missed details that may prove to be important. The night was long and some-what cool, but the dragon could rest assured that Drgn had the fire going, and that the group was keeping warm by it. "When the time does come for the Phoenix to arise, I hope we'll be ready. If the elf doesn't suggest it, I'll be sure to tell him that we must begin training as soon as the sun rises tomorrow morning." Marth was thinking aloud, assuming that nobody was near him, but not really caring if they were or not. "...But in due time, everything will fall in place. Fate has chosen our paths; we are bound to follow them." The dragon then smiled, "As unfair as fate may be, I can still thank it, for it brought me to Shiori." Marth closed his eyes and cleared his mind. "...This... will be a long month..." He thought.

IC: Shiori smiled a little bit and placed a hand on Mac's head, looking down at him. "Don't worry! I don't mind the fact that you said something about that, truely. I have to accept that I have a side to me that I'm not very fond of. It's what makes me who I am, after all!" she laughed. "And about you being scared that you'll harm somebody that you care about...I don't think that will happen any time soon. Don't worry about that!"

He had figured out what was going on. This was all a scheme. Ruway appeared out of nowhere to stop the betrayers from attacking him. He then led him to the betrayers’ layer. The Loner had studied the girl and the old man for a while and suddenly the had he realized that the old man was the one who led the betrayers and the girl was his old best friend’s girl. They were in disguise but The Loner had figured it out. Now it was left to figure out who Ruway was. They were trying to capture him. They all sounded like they were reading from a script.



The Loner got up and ran. There was no way they were going to capture him. Ruway chased after him. “Fugeo,” The Loner screamed using his fire spell. He kept on running. Soon he realized that no one was following him. Traitors, betrayers, I cannot trust anyone The Loner thought. I am alone. He knew there was not anyone left out there to trust or even believe. If he wanted to live, he had to do it on his own.

"Hmm...In other words, you're living in fear," Shiori told the boy, shaking her head a little bit. "If you don't let the dragon out, then it will probably eat you from the inside out. At least, that's what it felt like when my dragon self was contained," she added, shrugging a little. "Maybe it's different with full blooded dragons, I don't know. However, if you keep it up inside of you, and it is accidently set free, something even more horrifying will happen. This much I know for a fact!"

bic:Haldir heard something from his stomach and started laughing. "I cant fight with an empty stomach amazon so we will have to stop for now," he said getting up. The hawk had been laughing the entire time they were fighting. "HEY SHUT UP I DONT SEE YOU FIGHTING HER," haldir yelled at him. "Well i couldn't be able to since im a bird," the hawk replied flying down to amazon. "Lets head to the others i since some change in the future," haldir knew something was happening and it may involve a legend he thought would never happen.

Huron put his hand from his face down and just stared at the fire “Put your hand in it” The voice from his dream said. Huron just the put his hand in the fire not even flinching from the burns he was getting Huron just looked at his hand in the fire with no expression on his face “now take it out” the voice in his head said. Huron then pulled his hand out of the fire and put it in front of his face witch was now on fire. “Now concentrate on darkness” The voice said Huron followed this order like the others Huron concentrated on darkness and the fire on his hand turned as dark as the night. “Good now make a fist” The voice said Huron made a fist and the dark fire disappeared. Huron then put his hand down and just looked at the fire with the black expression of his face.

BIC: Drgn sat by the fire and watched as Huron slowly stumbled over to it. "Finally coming to, eh?" he said, watching as Huron made no expression or respond at all. He seemed to be in some kind of pain...not physical however. As Huron put his hand in the fire, Drgn's face turned to an expression of confusion. "What the hell...?" he whispered to himself. Drgn placed the meat he was cooking down on top of a stone from the fire pit. He walked to Huron and watched as theman lit his hand on fire, then put it our with his mind. "Huron...what are you doing?" he asked with a slight fear in his eyes. And then, he realized it...Huron was being controlled, possessed by a demon, or devil of some sort.

Drgn had only one option to keep his group safe, and that was to exorcise the demon. But, before doing that, he wondered if maybe Huron was dreaming - half-asleep - and didn't know what he was doing. Drgn balled a fist and punched Huron in the nose...not hard enough to break it. This should get his attention... Drgn thought.

Pugz arrived and quickly got the minstrels and was back before she even knew it "Got 'em Drgn!" She shouted as she aproached the camp "Hope you saved me some meat i'm hungry!" She smiled then blinked as his punched Huron on the nose "Why did you do that...?" She asked fighting back the laughter, she bit her bottom lip to stop herself but it was so clear she wanted to.

BIC: Drgn looked up at Pugz as she held back a very obvious urge to laugh. "Don't worry, Pugz, laugh if you must. I was just trying to wake him up. He seems to have gone into some kind of sleep-walking trans." Drgn put his hand over to meat that he put down, to feel for heat. "I don't think the meat is quite ready yet, Pugz...just give it about a few more minutes."

Drgn stood up and looked over to the minstrels. He extended his hand to them, "My name is Drgn. I lead this party, and I expect some good music from you three tonight. I expect that this celebration will take no more than five hours. So you should be back in your homes by the morning. Thank you for coming."

They looked at Drgn and took his hand. They put their flutes and harps down by a log, where they would sit and play for the night. "We shall be right here tonight." one of them told Drgn.

Drgn smiled and nodded, "That should be good." he turned back to face the meat and the fire. Then Drgn called out, "Could everyone come in near the fire?! I would like to have everyone participate in the cooking." The sky was soon to be black...and the smoke from the fire left Drgn's eyes watery as he inhaled it through his nostils...it was a strong smoke.

"I....shouldn't....it's rude" She said between sniggers and sat down by the fire "Take a break Drgn, i'll finish cooking this" She picked up the meat and hovered it over the flames, twirling it while it cooked "Smells good!!" She smiled

Shayan daydreamed (or in this case nightdreamed.) most of the time. She fiddled with it. As she ate, she looked at her weird reflection on the diamond. But it wasn't hers. It was a demon's reflection. It was the reflection of that demon she fought. She was so surprised that she fell back. She looked dirty, but she brushed off the dirt. "It's okay, I'm okay."

Shayan joined the gathered group. "I don't suppose you guys know what's going to happen after the sun rises...." she murmured. She didn't think anyone with hear but anyone with strong ears would definantly hear that one. She enjoyed the cooking of the food and the music. She abruptly stopped acting like an idiot and started to have fun.

Then Shayan introduced herself to the minstrels. "Hi my name is...." she said. She couldn't think of what to say. Either Katheryne or Shayan. She noticed they were weirded out. "Katheryne...yes, Katheryne's my name." she said. 'Oh, what did I do?' she thought.

*he looked across as Drgn called the group together. he looked back at Shiori, then, shaking his head, decided that he had said enough. He was just upsetting himself again with his own memories. He put his pendant back beneath his shirt and walked over to the fire, where he sat down and looked amongst the gathered people. he hadn;t sat in front of a fire with so many people before .... usually it had been himself alone, but with so many people around it made him feel much calmer*

After Huron got punched out he fell back into his dream. “Man he can hit hard” the voice said “But I didn’t fell anything” Huron replied then the voice showed himself to Huron “You really didn’t fell that? They told me you where tuff but I didn’t think this tuff” The voice said hovering in front of Huron. The voice looked like a black skeleton with no bottom half there was just something black floating there “So you’re the voice who keeps telling me to go to the demon tower?” Huron asked “Yes I am” The voice replied “When you talked before you said ‘they told you I was tuff’ who is they?” Huron asked, “I cant say” the voice said.

“Now wake up and fell the pain of the real world” The voice said. Huron then just rose off the ground into a sitting position “Ow that hurt” Huron said as he put his hand up to his nose. Huron then moved it away and there was blood on his hand Huron just stared at it until he realized what it was “So this is Blood” Huron said as he looked up and could see people sitting around the fire “Where the hell am I?” Huron said almost yelling.

BIC: Drgn looked around to the group as he sat by Pugz, who was turning the meat to the other side now. "Keep it up, Pugz, you're doing great!" Drgn smiled, a little laugh, knowing that it was stupid to say such an encouraging thing for a piece of meat. Then, Drgn heard something quite odd...the words of someone near, 'I don't suppose you guys know what's going to happen after the sun rises.' This came from Shayan...but Drgn could not understand its meaning. He looked at her, staring for a few seconds, then turned to look at Huron, who was slowly getting up, gaining consciousness. As Huron called out in confusion, wondering where he was, Drgn laughed. "Huron...you are rejoined with my group. I am Drgn..remember? This is Raina..." Drgn pointed to himself and Raina, remembering that they had traveled with Huron together in the past.

*he waved a bit more wondering why Shiori wasn't coming over, then sort of gave up figuring he had upset her. He turned back to the fire and stares at it for a while, listening to things around him, then looked at Drgn absent-mindedly. From there, he looked at the other people he still didn't know much about. He didn't really feel like conversing with anyone so he just talked to himself quietly*

*he stood up, then, drawing his katana, walked over to the nearest tree and slashed the trunk of it to vent his anger and frustration. Moments later the tree slid apart and crashed to the ground*

She turned around and said "Hey since we didn't finish our fight, lets race! Last one ther gives your hawk a bath!" she ran off top speed. She got there first, then pointed at Haldir "Hahaha! bic: Liinna yawned as she woke from her curled up position. Had she really fallen asleep like that? She blinked and shook her head, asserting the changes that had been going on around her. Everyone seemed to be gathering around Lyon-sama, who was obviously in some sort of emotional crisis. She quietly wondered to herself why all her new masters seemed to have demons chasing them before shaking the thought of. This was not apropriate.

She walked towards the others and quietly sat down next to Lyon-sama and Pugz-sama. She mentally noted that Pugz-sama seemed to be taking care of Lyon-sama and decided not to interrupt it by trying to help her. So she simply sat there, her ears perked down and her tail barely moving at all.

Amazon smirked as Haldir and his hawk talked, since she could easily guess what they were talking about.

She noticed that new boy Lyon speaking with Pugz about his lost mother. Hmph...don't see what he's so worked up about...I've been alone since I was 8 and wouldn't have it any other way.... She just didn't understand the feelings that were attatched in a mother-child relationship, since she had never really felt it herself.

She walked over to the others at the campfire "Hey so Drgn what are we supposed to be doing now? And just what the heck are you guys eating?"

BIC: Drgn looked around as the rest of the group joined the cirlce around the fire. The sky was almost completely darkened. Night had come and it was time for Drgn to tell of the Legendary Phoenix. He took a deep breath, knowing that this was a tense topic to discuss. Marth knew about it already, so he seemed uninterested...and Drgn felt as if a few more in the group may have heard the legend before...by looking into their eyes, he felt this way.

"Everyone, listen closely...for I am about to tell of the Days of the Phoenix." Drgn slowly pulled the meat from the fire and handed some to everyone...small pieces, wanting to feed them all instead of only three.

"Many centuries ago...our ancestors had sealed away an evil - undefeatable by any man, elf, dragon, or demon - an evil that destroyed entire vilages with a single step. This evil creature was known as "Drakan of the Hellfire"...a name fitting for the monstrous, demonic killer that it was. Drakan was known to steal away children from peasant villages and mutate them into the creatures we kill today, such as the Chimera that I hunt...or the demon that possessed Amazon in the forest many weeks ago. The reject peasants are thrown into a bunch of grunts and smaller creatures that are weak and worthy of nothing. All of Drakan's creatures, however, were born killers and were meant for destruction." He took a bite of the meat and swallowed it before continuing.

"Drakan, aparently, had created millions of creatures...which spawned others through time, if they were not killed. But, he had created so many that he had grown tired of them. He left the weaker ones to die alone, took his most powerful demons, and left. He had reigned over a new world, where he could now create more powerful beings. He began to arrange an elite team of super-natural beings of Hell. They all stood by his side, as his elite soldiers, until one day...the Fire Bird, his top elite rose against him, intollerant of his ways. The Fire Bird was called "Phoenix"." Drgn took another bite of the meat, enjoying this bite. He smiled at Pugz, "You did a good job with this meat."

He then continued the legend, "Phoenix had grown so powerful that he was almost equivilant in power to the great Drakan of the Hellfire. They battled, Phoenix destroying all the elites that Drakan had created, then destroying all the gurnts and smaller creatures from the other world. Finally, Phoenix and Drakan would battle alone. They ended up killing each other with the final blow. Both collided and dropped to the fires of Hell." He put his meat down and looked at his group.

"Now, every century, on the same day of the Great Battle, the spirits of Phoenix and Drakan battle again, to kill each other, with the same, or more ferocity than the Great Battle itself. And each century, on the day of the Battle, all the monsters of that era return, to torment and destroy our world. And every era holds its own legion of heros and and elite fighters of the world." He took another slow look around the group. "I believe that we are that legion..we are the destined heroes of this era. And in each era, the heroes must decide whether to side with Phoenix, or to destroy with Drakan." He stood and walked away from the fire, looking into the sky. He now allowed for Marth to fill in if there was anything missed.

Haldir looked at the ground then back up to drgn. "So it is true the phoenix and drakan will rise again," he said and tossed a piece of meat to his hawk. "If i am to join a side it will be the side of the phoenix as my forefathers have done before," he added and got up walking into the darkness. He drew his sword and watched it glow. "The days of the phoenix have come," he said raising his sword into the air.

*as Pugz pulled back from him and asked him to try and get something to eat, he suddenly began feeling a lot better having released some of the tormented emotions from inside, and when she stuck her tongue out he smiles and almost laughed. Wiping his tears, he got up with her and then went and sat beside the fire Drgn handed him some meat and though it wasn't a lot, he took it greatefully and began eating it, glad that he was eating amongst friends

Then, Drgn began talking about something called the 'days of the Phoenix' he stoped eating, listening intently, not fully understanding it but understanding enough that there was soon going to be a huge battle, and, besides that, the explanations of the two creatures made him think it was possible that followers of this 'Drakan' were the demons that took his mother ... but, when drgn announced that the group were to become heroes, he choked on his meat and called*

Drgn are you sure? .... I... I've only been here half a day .... how can I be part of this too?

*he was confused. He'd only just become part of the group ... yet drgn spoke of the group being the ones who would save the world? or even destroy it? Drgn actually spoke of a choice ....*

Shiori frowned a little bit and slipped into deep thought, popping the meat into her mouth. As she ate at it, she closed her eyes, not wanting anybody to see the worry in them. She had never heard this story before, and wondered why that was. However, she was more concerned about further things, such as the creatures comming back. Could they fight and win, truely? What if they weren't the heroes, as Drgn was so sure that they were. "...Are we sure that these destined heroes that you speak of, Drgn?" she asked quietly, pressing her lips together tightly as she opened her eyes.

Pugz smiled and sat next to Lyon by the fire and listen to Drgn. When he commented her cooking she smiled and ate a peice of meat "Hero's huh...? Sure i'll help!" She playfully messed up Lyon's hair "Don't worry about it, from what i've seen if we stick together we can do it!"

*he let Pugs mess with his hair but he kept quiet about it. He was actually very shocked by drgn's announcement. He didn't consider himself a hero ..... he didn't know if he had the strength to match up against everyone else there*

*he sighed. Either Drgn was very, very good at foreseeing the future and seeing people's full potential .... or he was extremely stupid*

Marth heard the tree fall, and started to head back to the camp. It's getting late, I'm sure the elf will be telling his story soon. Marth thought as he began to listen intentively. As he approached, he could hear every word that Drgn was speaking. He skipped a few details in the story, maybe he wasn't aware of them, or maybe he didn't think that they would be important. Shiori asked Drgn if they were truely the heros, and the wise dragon walked in slowly, laughing quietly.

"Drgn, I see you finally got around to telling them..." He smiled... "Those of you... the demons... if you've felt something strong; a strange force recently, this is the auras of two of the greatest forces that this world has come to know. These energies are now surfacing, coming back from the depths of hell. Draken and the Phoenix." As he walked in, he kissed Shiori then stepped up to the fire. "Soon these energies will be so strong even humans will feel them, maybe even die because of their force, but that's nothing we must concern ourselves with. Drgn missed a few things in his... story."

Marth turned to face the whole group. "The heros who sided with the Phoenix in the 'Great War' all died. After defeating the Draken, the Phoenix had itself parished, but those... the heros, they were drained of their life. The energies of the heros resignate in the soul of this planet. When the time comes, the spirits will come to aid those who help the Phoenix." Marth looked over to Drgn. "You think that they would help us... but its not a given." Marth looked back to the group again. "We have been given a choice, we can either help the Phoenix or we can help Draken.

You'd like to think that we'd all help the Phoenix, that we would all side with good, rather than evil... but some of us will choose evil. I'll explain why..." The dragon closed his eyes.

"Draken, the greatest evil was not truely evil... He killed Mother Earth, and took control. In Mother Earth's death, the Phoenix was reincarnated to stop Draken. From the start, Draken's only goal was to create a free world, an earth where no god would intervine. This life that we live in now is Draken's world... Before he stood up to Mother Earth, we were all controlled and limited. This is the life that Draken had strived for, and if we help the Phoenix, in time, Draken will lose all his power, and the Earth will once again become unballanced, and we will once again be controlled."

Marth tried to summarize that idea as quickly as possible. "The controlling force of Mother Earth, or the 'Phoenix' is portrayed as good, but in reality, if it wins, it will capture us again, and Draken's work will all be in vane. Draken is shown as an evil being, for he did evil things on the way to achieving his reign over everything, but the sacrifices were for the greater good." Marth then opened his eyes to see complete confusion in everybodies faces. "When Draken took control, we were given choice, the choice that we now live with. For all of us here, just as it was for the heros of old, the choice Draken left has brought pain. The choice was freedom to do as we please. Before Draken controlled us, it was Mother Earth. With her in control, we had little choice, she watched over everything. But with her there, nobody was ever hurt, and nobody was ever killed. Draken hated the idea of being controlled, and then we had a war.

The choice I leave all of you with is: Side with the Phoenix and destroy Draken leaving us to follow and not live our own lives, but live lives of celluloid perfection, or side with Draken and destroy the Phoenix, and continue to live life as we have been... Live with pain, fear, destruction, and freedom." Marth knew the time had come. He didn't know what he would choose. He had been through so much, he had lost everything... His family, his friends... His whole race of people... But if it weren't for that, he never would have found Shiori.

He was faced with a huge decision, as was the rest of the group. Freedom, or Perfection. These people were his family, who they chose would not bother him, they were themselves, and he was himself. This was how Draken made it, and this is how they lived. They all had their own choice to make. "Now you know the truth, and now Shiori..." He looked over to her, "...Now you know what's on my mind."

She sighed seeing Marth ans Shori together, although she had to admit...they were a good couple. She finished her meat and listened to Marth. When he was done she blinked a few times ".....Ok my head hurts from processing that...." She rubbed her forehead "So...dumbed down for us slow people...if we side with the draken we get freedom...if we don't we get controlled and have to live under a ruler...?" She rubbed her head again "Ow..." "Ow for me too....and i'm smarter than you" Pugz just nodded then blinked "...Hey no fair Roku!" She frowned then looked at Marth "I get it now...and to be honest i like the draken idea"

"Can I remind you however..." Marth began, as he looked over to Pugz, "...Because of Draken, everything bad that happened in your past happened. If Draken never stepped forward, you would have lived a perfectly happy life... A life with no pain, and a life with no evil." Marth said as he closed his eyes. "They say that evil is tempting... But in this case I'm not sure which is evil... or if in fact, they're both evil." Marth said looking over to Drgn who seemed to be just as confused as himself. Would I forget pain, and forget the woman I love, or would I keep it all? Marth thought. The answer came quickly... He'd go through hell one thousand times more, just to see Shiori, but now that he had her, would he make life perfect, or would he allow pain to continue?

"We have a month..." Marth concluded. "...Make up your minds by then... that's all I can say."

Shiori bit her lip a little as she went through what Marth had just said, reaching over and taking a hold of his hand. "So, in other words, if we choose the side of the Pheonix, then we more or less become enslaved, then die?" she asked softly, shaking her head a little. "Then again, if we join Draken, then we have chosen to destroy, but not for evil intentions, is that it?" she questioned further, closing her eyes and sighing a little bit.

"Honestly, I don't know what I'm going to choose," Shiori whispered, opening her eyes again. "After all, I don't think that I could cause destruction," she sighed. She looked up at Marth, stroaking his hand a little bit. "I think that I will follow with what you choose," she told him quietly. The half breed was never really a decisive person to begin with, and Marth had wisdom beyond her comprehension.

"It's not evil...it's just balancing it out...you get what you deserve and i obviously did something to deserve what's happened to me" She stood and walked away from the group and sat under a tree "I....just can't remember what i did..." "Can't help you kid" Roku sat next to her "I'm just as blank as you" "Thanks...but since i'm choosing the 'evil' side....does that mean i'm evil and the group will turn against me...?" "Don't know..." The pair looked at the group then at the sky "I hope not..."

"Shiori..." Marth tried to explain to her, "I don't know what I'm going to do. I can't decide this on my own." He looked into her eyes. "If we side with Draken and survive, life as we know it will not change, and we shall continue to have pain, and we shal continue to suffer. But in return for this, we will be free to do as we wish. But if we side with the Phoenix, we will always be happy, and we'll never be hurt again; except, free will wil not be ours." He closed his eyes. "It's not as though we'd be slaves... we'd just not be able to do everythig we want, and in return for this, we stay happy and safe."

The dragon opened his eyes. "I'm suppose to be wise, but it seems I can't even see through this glass wall that's ben built up infront of me. I've been struggling with this for some time now... since I've felt the days coming. An answer that should be so obvious seems to be evading my grasp. I don't know where I'm going to go... I don't know which side I'll choose... But I'm glad I have you with me." Marth vaguely smiled, and hugged Shiori, not wanting to let go.

"In this month to come, I'll see where life takes us. From what I learn... from what we learn, I'll try to make a decision." Marth held the half breed close, while he tried to clear his mind. It was so easy to do so in her comforting arms, but soon the dragon would have to act. He couldn't hide from destiny forever, for now it was coming to him.

"Can't we just decide not to take part in it?" Shiori whispered softly, mainly to herself, because she knew the answer to this. No, they couldn't just not take part of it, it seemed. One side or the other, and that's all there was to it. Closing her eyes, she leaned her head against Marth's shoulder and tried not to cry. This was a descision that would have to be made quite carefully, and she wasn't one to choose correctly most of the time.

Over hearing what marth said, haldir turned and looked at him. 'So we have a choice either chose a world that is perfect or a world with suffering,' he thought to himself. "Mabey its time for a change haldir but you do have month to decide," the hawk said flying to haldir shoulder. "One month, one month for decision and training," haldir said then walked to the group.

“No I don’t remember” Huron said to Drgn before he started this whole thing about a Phoenix. About half way through Drgn story Huron fell asleep but not on his own will. “I will show you what there talking about” The voice said as a dream about the Phoenix and the Draken. As the story unfolded in his mind some of his memories started to come back. Huron could see himself standing next to the Draken “You are the only survivor of that war” the voice said “But how did I get into the war?” Huron asked “Well when you where found near the darkness realm you where sent to train with some demons of the Draken…” Huron interrupted “”Hold on how old dose that make me?” Huron asked “Any way that demon that trained you was the Drakens top demon and when you where ready you where put to war by the Drakens side you where his best warrior” the voice finished “Then why wasn’t I dropped into hell?” Huron asked “You where but the demon who found you on the end of the darkness realm came a got you out… you have seen plenty wake up” the voice said. Huron woke up just as every thing was finishing “So I’m a Draken demon?” Huron asked himself.

Amazon watched as Drgn and Marth told the story of the phoenix. I'm surprised Drgn can enjoy his food with all of this on his mind... she thought to herself

"Well, can't say what I'll choose. I know, how about I just destroy both of them, and become the ruler myself?" she said, a little bit jokingly. But she couldn't deny the fact that, whatever each of them chose, some of htem would be pitted against eachother...

She made a decision to choose the one in her best interest. Go for the strongest I always say...an Amazon likes to win.... She was unsure whether her duty to the group and to the world would prevail over her pride and competitiveness this time....

Liinna had remained silent throughout Drgn-sama and Marth-sama's explanation. She wasn't that surprised, really. It was just like the age old war between communism and capitalism, no matter which side would win, there would always be suffering in the world. Equal trade as it was called. Quite frankly, Liinna couldn't care less, whatever her masters chose would be the side she would choose.

And therein laid the problem.

If what Marth-sama had said was true, then that meant that the group had a chance of splitting up. Or in the worst case, turning on each other and even fighting each other. This was a problem. Liinna had come to see the entire group as the family she served, if they would split up, with whom would she side? No matter what side she would be choosing, she would always be betraying the others, something she was biologically not capable of.

No matter how much thought Liinna put into it, there was no denying that if the group split up, she would end up alone again. Being biologically incapable of betrayal, the splitting up of the group meant that she could not pick a side, which in turn meant the she would have to stay out of the rising conflict.

Alone.

Again.

Liinna closed her eyes and began to dig into the vault of knowledge programmed into her mind, trying to uncover the past to see if there was a side that everyone could side with. A side that would suit everybody's interest enough to avoid internal conflict. A small mental alarm went of telling her that she was entering forbidden ground: interfering with her masters choices. She overruled it with the fact that she was only protecting them from themselves, and the destruction varied choices would make.

A drop of sweat began to trickle from her forehead; she never had called upon so much information inside her mental library before. Her head began to spin with the amount of data. Battles. Memories. Necessary evil. Necessary restrictions. Freedom. Imprisonment. Emotions. Joy. Pain. Loneliness. unition. Anger. Fear. Desire. History. The battle of the phoenix. The prophecies. The rise. The destruction. Her stomach began to turn as everything blurred together, the sweat on her forehead increased, and still she kept searching for a solution. There had to be a way, here just had to be.

"Marth. Drgn. Could there be a way to chose a different side from those two? Like our side that way we can be together and wont be but against each other," he asked walking into the fire light. "I wont fight if i have to fight against my own family," he continued looking around. "Why must we be seperated from a unending war, a war that we had nothing to do with. I would fight for the side for that will allow me to see all of you," he said finishing his small speach. "But it is not my place to change your minds," he added then walked back into the forest.

Shiori noticed that Liinna looked quite upset about the choices at hand, and she went over to her, leaving Marth's company to place her hand behind the girl's ears and scratch behind them. "It's going to be fine, Liinna," she whispered, even though she really didn't know what was going through her mind right now. However, she would do her best to cheer her 'younger sister' up the best that she could, even if she didn't understand what was completely wrong. "Nothing will change...I hope..."

Shayan heard Marth and Drgn's story. It seemed familliar to her. "I know about this, before you told us..." she said. "My mother told me about this. She said that I would have to choose sides one day. And this is the day." "The phoenix, does it not die and reborn in ashes?" Shayan asked. "Still, it's not difficult for me to choose sides. I choose to help my great-ancestor, the phoenix."


"I know you think different of me, because I am cat. Yes I am, but I am also a phoenix in blood." she said. "You probably haven't noticed, but I felt like I wasn't part of this, yet I was because no one was there for me." "Do you know that day, that I jumped up and left while traveling?" she asked. "You probably didn't, but I went and fought a beast."


"That beast, it probably was my father's son." she said. "And my father is probably Draken." she said. "See, my mother was the most prettiest human cat in the village. And Draken took the form of a young man. My mother fell for him (f.y.i. she's married) and they were alone in a locked shack. There was a bed and....you know what happened. I was born."


"I also have something to confess..." she said. She took a breath. "I am not Shayan. That is a false name." Shayan looked at Drgn She sent him a mesage. 'Drgn, you should know.' "My real name is Katheryne Yashan Kitsune the III." Shayan said. "Yashan was a pseudonym."


"So, if anyone's mad at me, go ahead and slap me across the face."

Drgn was more confused now than ever. He had purposely excluded the part of the story that Marth had just informed about, because he didn't want to see this fall amongst his group...to worry and confuse themselves in this most important subject. This was the most important event to occur each century.

Drgn smiled to himself when he heard Shiori ask Marth whether they could choose not to get involved. He walked over to Shiroi and Marth and put a hand on Shiori's shoulder. "Shiori, you have whatever choice you want. Although, if you choose to leave yourself out of this war...you will be affected by it like the non-heroes. You will be engulfed in Hell and war...alone and hopeless, so I suggest you fight." He took his hand back and walked alone...leaving the camp site, motioning Pugz and over to follow him.

He ignored everyone around him that was talking to him...something had come over him. He needed someone to accompany him on a small walk.

He began to speak to himself as he waited for her to follow, "I can't believe I exist through the Days of the Phoenix. These times are Hellish ones...the days grow cold and moist with the mist of toxicity and confusion. This decision will break this group apart unless I find some kind of alternative. We will all be thrown in different directions...take different paths. What should I choose?! The Phoenix has never won the Great Battle since the day Drakan battled it. That is why the heroes of old had the free will to choose their paths." Drgn's eyes swelled with fatigue and the slightest trace of tears. He was scared...scared for the well-being of his group...his family.

"I do not know what I should do...I lead a feirce league of heroes...and we are indecisive of our own individual paths now. If only there was a way to keep freedom in the world...but also have happiness. If only we could combine the intentions of Drakan and Phoenix. If only...*sigh*...if only..." Drgn dropped to his knees, about a few hundred feet from the group, by a body of water...a small pond. A tear dropped into the water. "Damn you Phoenix...damn you Drakan...damn our lives. Damn it all..." Drgn now realized...life had no meaning anymore. To be alive was to be in pain...to be in total and complete darkness, no matter what your decisions. He looked at his reflection in the water, tears rippling the reflection. "DAMN IT! Aaaahh..." he slapped a hand into the water, shattering his reflection apart. He could not help but let his tears flow, knowing that he had lived for nothing. His parents' deaths were just for pain...nothing more. He had only the faith that the gods of Heaven would help him make this decision properly. They seemed to be the only ones that stood beside him now.

It was said that the Days of the Phoenix brought out despair and torture in all persons' hearts. Drgn could feel his soul sobbing along with him. "This world is a lie...this life is a torturing nightmare. I have established a group of friends, who I now consider my family...and for what?! To have them die by my blade if they choose opposite me?! I will not have this...I will not let this happen!" Drgn thought to himself out loud, knowing that as Pugz approached, she may hear him sobbing.

Drgn lifted his head from the lowered pain he was in, and looked up to the stars. He screamed out in fury and love for his family, "I will not let this happen! I will not have us be slaves of the Phoenix, or children of Drakan...I will stop this trend...I will have it that my family breaks the traditional acceptance of having one life or the other! I will make a new choice!

Hitomi was in shock about the story she was wondering what the strong force she kept feeling was. "I cant believe this" Hitomi held back tears. "I hope nothing happend to any of my friends or my family." Hitomi slowly stood up and with out saying any thing started walking towards where Drgn went when she heard him yell. "Drgn!" Hitomi ran as fast as she could towards Drgn afraid if some thing awful happend. "Whats going on? Whats wrong with Drgn" Hitomi thought as she ran. She found the pond and stopped when she saw Drgn on the ground and wisperd in a frightend voice. "D...Drgn A..are you ok?" Hitomi slowly walked over to Him. She was scared and could sence Drgn was also. *Did that story do that much to him* Hitomi walked behind him and set a shaky hand on his shoulder. "D...Drgn" Hitomi said in a scared worried voice.

Pugz slowly stood and made her way to Drgn, she had to jog a little to catch up. She saw him kneeling by the pond and heard him talking to himself "Another choice would be better Drgn" She walked over and sat by him "But if it doesn't work i'm still sideing with the Draken, both Roku and i have agreed on it" She looked up at the sky "Actions of the past creates actions of the future, by defeating Kobu, i am one step closer to freeing myself from my past to start a new future" She looked back at Drgn and put her hand on his shoulder "By sideing with the Draken we keep the pain and suffering...but if we side with the phoenix then we create a new pain and suffering, the pain and suffering to not have our own choice-to be free. I'd rather keep the memories of my tourmented past than be enslaved and to not have my freedom" She then moved her hand and looked at the water "Don't you agree?"

Shayan looked at Drgn. "There has to be some other choice. I want to help my great ancestor, but it seems that we will fall apart and fight each other, and be killed in the war..." Shayan said. Tears streamed down her face. She ran over to Drgn. "You know, I don't want that to happen, especially because my family wants to help Drakan." she said to Drgn. "It's okay, it's okay..." She comforted him. "Drgn, should we be part of this or create our own side?" Shayan asked.


Suddenly, the diamond had some age waves. Then, great wind blew across Shayan's face. She looked different. Her clothes, they were different. She wore a white tube top, a white skirt, a white pair of boots, leather white gloves and she wore the diamond with diamond earings. Her hair and face were all the same.

"What's happening to me?" Shayan asked. "Why'd I change my clothes? Why am I wearing this? What is wrong with the Diamond of Jaken Hell?" Anger was about to spill. At last, when she couldn't take it no more, she yelled. "WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME!!"

If he thought right ..... then was he supposed to go on Drakan's side to be able to find his mothe again? or would he have to side with Phoenix to bring her back ..... if Phoenix brought the perfect world and the perfect life would she be returned? He needed to talk to Drgn... to get his view. he got up and left the camp down towards where he had heard Drgn cursing. he saw drgn knelt next to a pond, with Pugz beside him*

Amazon looked over to where Drgn had run off. Poor leader...he needs some time to himself...there are so many decisions to make...so many paths...if we could just walk the same one... She was very indecisive....She couldn't decide now that everyone was talking about forming a 'new group to fight Draken and the phoenix'.

Before she had decided to just side with the strongest, to protect her interests. But now there were so many things to think about..."There has to be some way...We can find another way...I know we can..."

Huron was questioning himself about what he was the voice in his head took control again. “Stand up the tower is coming!” the voice said Huron got stood up “Good now start walk west” the voice ordered Huron began to walk west through the fire pit not feeling a thing. Huron walked for some time “Stop! Now wait” the voice ordered Huron just stood where he stopped and some after he stopped the was a earthquake that shook everything in a 300 yard radius just as the earthquake started a tower began to rise out of the ground just 50 feet from where Huron was starting after about 10 minutes the earthquake stopped and the tower was fully out of the ground. “Now go inside and follow your in stinks” The voice said Huron walked in and soon after he found a room “This is your room for when you served the Draken. Go and grab the orb on the pillar” The voice said Huron walked up to the pillar and put one hand on the orb and Huron’s memories flooded back to him, Huron let go of the orb “I under stand now I re… remember!” Huron said sounding happy.

Huron walked around the room and found his old outfit and put it on, as soon as Huron put on his new outfit he heard someone say something “Look brother he’s back” “Who’s back?” “Our master don’t you remember” “Ah yes master” the two voice’s said to each other. Huron walked around the corner and saw two swords in the ground with heads on the hilts “Agni, Rudra?” Huron said, “Look brother he remembers us” Rudra said “Master its been a long time” Agni said “Yes it has been and I think I need your help again” Huron said “We will do everything we can” Agni said “Yes we will” Rudra “glad to here it” Huron said as he pulled Agni and Rudra out of the ground and put them on a strap around his waste. Huron looked around more and saw a pair of gantlets and grieves with glowing white lines running through then “A yes Beowulf” Huron said as he picked them off the wall and put them on “There that should do” Huron said “Yes you are well prepared” Rudra said “Lets go” Huron said as he left the tower and headed back to camp. Just before Huron got to the camp he said “Agni, Rudra these people mite not like the idea of talking swords so can you be quiet until I tell them about you two?” Huron asked “Of cores” Agni said Huron then walked back into the camp and just leaned agents a tree.

Drgn looked up after gaining some sense and noticed that three people had followed him into the pond area. He had asked Pugz to come, only because he hoped to discuss this with her, as she was new and had so many problems; but Lyon and Hitomi had come as well, all comforting him as he wept in confusion. "Th...thank you all. But I do not need help...this is good for me. I haven't shed this many tears since the escape from my burning village. I need to let out my emotions...I believe it makes me stronger..." He tried hard to spread a smaile on his face, but found it hard to.

He looked at Pugz. "You're right...if there is no alternate way to do this, then we must choose a side. But...I couldn't tell anyone what my choice was...for whatever it may turn out to be...you all may turn your choices to match mine, but then would betray your own true wants. My choice will be secretive...but until we know for sure that choosing is our only option, I'm going to fight for what I want: happiness, peace, pain, suffering, freedom, and love. This is my choice as of now. I choose to fight them both...kill them both, and make my own rules for this world. And now, as leader, I hope for you all to follow me in my tracks as I march toward my destiny..." Drgn stopped talking to whipe his teary eyes and cheeks. He looked back into the water and saw his reflection. The water had settled since he had slapped it, and his face looked clear in the water. That is who I am...and the is who I shall become... he thought to himself as he slowly took a stand. He looked to Lyon and smiled, acknowledging the boy's suggestion. Then he turned to Hitomi and hugged her tightly. "Whatever happens...I will not lose you...sister..." Drgn smiled, allowing another small tear to trickle down his cheek.

*he took his hand from drgn's shoulder out of pure shock. He hadn't expected that at all. As Drgn stood up and tried to end his tears he realised that Drgn had a point. He, himself, couldn't choose a side. He didn't want to. He didn't really understand why exactly he had to choose... but if Drgn was right, and they did win ..... would Drgn's rules mean that a fully better world would be created?*

Drgn, I respect what you're saying. But I won't be influenced by other people's choices. I've only got one goal. I just want my family and my village back.

*He understood Drgn's choice, but he had his own choices. Maybe they would think he was only using them for his own ideals and his own motives. In a way that was true, but he did see them as friends now. He wanted to help them back, but if that meant hindering the quest for anyone who still remained from his tribe, then he wouldn't allow it. His direct relations came first, in other words*

I can only do so much, Drgn. I'll do my best to follow this choice.... that you're making, but I can only go so far to help you.

Pugz stood and brushed the dirt off herself "You all relay too much on Drgn as a leader" She looked down at Drgn "In all honesty, if you were to pick a side, i only would've followed if i thought it was best for me. I don't play follow the leader" She slowly headed back to the camp. What she said was true. She only chose the Draken because she wanted to keep her freedom. She sat back under tree where she was and watched the group. "i wonder...if Drgn was too choose a side, would they follow? Even if they didn't think it was right for them?"

Amazon overheard Pugz taking to herself. But she didn't want to answer her question out loud, because it would mean that she was eavesdropping. But she really really didn;t want Pugz to think that she was weak minded and would follow anyone at the drop of a hat. And that made her answer Pugz

"The answer is no way. Amazon's don't listen to anyone but themselves. I wouldn't follow anyone if I didn't feel like it. But Drgn has never asked for us to do the same thing as him. He's always asked our opinions on things, and has always let us make our own decisions. Thats what makes him such a good leader." She smirked "Because we all know that if I was leader, everyone would do exactly as I say and I'd be the strongest and the coolest and the best looking and....well, you get why I'm not the leader...."

"Yea, cause you're stuck up" Roku smirked standing next to Pugz. It made her laugh "That wasn't nice..." She looked at Amazon still laughing a little bit "I understand Amazon. Pride is everything"

Drgn began to move back to the group, "Come on, Lyon...let's go." he held onto Hitomi by his side and walked with her, selfishly knowing it comforted him.

This decision will be the biggest one I ever make...it must be made bravely and educatedly. I know that I have decided to fight them both, and attempt...so stupidly...to overpower them. I know that if I do this...my group will be put in a deep thought. We will have to try this at least...and if the others are brave, and we can fight this war together...then we can succeed. But if they grow in fear over this choice I have made...then I will be left alone to battle the Phoenix and Drakan...all on my own. They must follow me...or this world will never see happiness again.

Marth just stood by the fire, not doing much. He was listening to Drgn. fight them both... He thought and then looked behind himself to see Drgn, Hitomi, and Lyon all coming back. "In no disrespect to you, Drg," Marth said as he began to walk in the direction of his leader, "we would stand no chance against these godly entities. We could fight them both, but without a power like that on our side, we would stand so little a chance that we might aswell consider ourselves dead." The dragon said as he looked up to the stars. "If you cannot think of a better way to do this, then I won't follow you. I apologize, but I will not put my life or Shiori's life in dead hands." Marth said as he looked back down to Drgn, knowing that Shiori would follow his decision.

"We may be friends, allies... brothers, but I shall not run into a battle field with no weapon just to watch my family die... again..." Marth walked over to a tree, and sat down, leaning against it. He closed his eyes. "We have one month. If you can think of a smart way to defeat two gods, then I shall consider joining you, but I won't follow you to your demise, and I pray the group has minds of their own to do the same." The dragon stayed silent. He had spoken and had nothing left to say. He was deep in thought, still not knowing what he would do.

bic: Haldir looked as if he were listening to everyone talk but was really deep in thought. 'How can we defeat two gods,' he thought to himself then got up and whistled loudly. "Drgn I am sorry but i must leave, i am going up into the ice mountains to think and train," he said when his horse rode up. "I will send word through my hawk and please no one follow me i wish to be alone for awhile," he added then jumped up on his horse riding off into the darkness. "WHAT THE ICE MOUNTAIN ARE YOU CRAZY," the hawk yelled at haldir. "We need council and the ice dragon is going to help us by training us then we will go to the volcanoe and hopefully get advise from the elder fire dragon," haldir responded and noticed mornig was coming. Haldir closed his eyes and telepathicly told amazon "we will meet again for better or worst!"

Hitomi smiled at Drgn trying to help him. "I think its time that we had some fun and stop worrying it will help alot." Hitomi hugged her brother as they walked. I dont like to see him like this, Ill try my hardest to stay by his side even in death. I dont want to lose my brother again. Hitomi remebered when they were starting to Journey and they went into a town where Drgn Bought Her a red dress and she remembered she has never warn it. I think ill wear it tonight At that thought Hitomi walked beside Drgn. "Drgn A party will be nice now dont you think, It might get are minds off of some things." Hitomi smiled one of her smiles that was only for her brother it was a sweet caring smile.

*He knew exactly what Marth meant. He understood the decision that Marth had made. He just kept looking at him trying to at least get some response, even something as small as a quick glance, but seeing as he was still with Drgn, Marth seemed to not want anything to do with him*

*he sighed and just looked at his feet. he had made his mind up to follow Drgn in his choice ... yet Marth had made him think again. If Marth was right ... then he would just die. He'd never see his mother again. He'd never be able to try and find her ... so unless Drgn had some sort of special battle or training plan, then it was looking very unlikely*

Drgn ..... you have a plan right? I mean ... going up against these two beings you speak of ... you must have a plan or something.

Drgn looked down at Marth while he sat and thought. I know this already Marth...don't think I'm such an idiot to jump in. With this month we are given...we must train to become as strong as our soul will allow, and I must revise my plan to fit all our best interests...so that this family does not have to shatter...

Drgn looked at Hitomi as she sugested they begin the party now...but honestly, Drgn felt like lying down and sleeping the rest of the night. The minstrels seemed to have been playing already, and it was soothing music, although, Drgn had a feeling that a party was not to be held this night. It didn't look like anyone had a care for it. "Hitomi," Drgn said as she gave him a sweet smile, "I know you are able to be happy...but I can't right now. I have just come to a very reckless decision...and I must fix it. I wouldn't mind if you would like to help me." he looked around the campsite, "We could still eat and have music...but I don't think a party is a very good idea at the moment." He hugged his sister. "If you would like to wear the dress, then please do. I didn't buy it to get eaten by moths." Drgn smiled and rubbed Hitomi's hair with his palm. "I will go sit by the fire...join me when you want."

Huron just watched everything going on when he saw Drgn sit down near the fire, Huron walked over and sat down next to Drgn and put his hand on his shoulder and said “Drgn you are the very noble person I remember you didn’t give up on me in the past, so don’t give up on yourself and the choices you make. You never gave up on your choices and that’s why you did what you did, don’t pay any attention to what other people say pay attention to what this is saying.” Huron said as he taped his chest where his heart was with the back of his hand. Huron then tossed some wood into the fire seeing how it was starting to get dim.

"Yeah...your right" Amazon said in reply to Pugz, a bit surprised that Pugz could understand her so clearly, even though they really didn't know eachother. Shes really good at understanding people... she thought.

Her thoughts were interrupted by Haldir's voice in her head. Yeah...guess I'll seeya soon then... she said in her mind as he left, wondering if heard her or not.

She listened to the conversation that Drgn and Marth had exchanged. Marth's words are true, but still, you'd think he would want the group to stay together. She knew that it was his feelings that kept him from making a reckless decision like the one Drgn had proposed. And it was Drgn's pressure to lead that made him make the decision. Well I hope no one forgets that that was my idea first! she thought, almost like it was a good thing.

She decided to exchange a few words with Drgn. She walked up to him and sat down across form him. "So fearless leader looks like you got alot on your mind." she bit her lip, knowing form his dark expression that this was no time for humor. "Look, don't forget that I'm a goddess too..." Like that really helps... she thought to herself. You've trained hard since the day you were born and still haven't been able to hone your powers She couldn't really think of much to say that would motivate him. She herself had no idea what decision to make. She just wished that she could use her powers....there had to be a way to find what was missing inside her, and she would do it.

"I think that we should all train our best first before we make a decision. After all, we have no idea how powerful our training will make us. We could be stronger then what we think. I believe that we should all wait to make our decision until our training is over. What do you think?"

Drgn looked to Amazon's face from across the fire...she looked so...unburdened. She seemed so confident, and Drgn grew envious of that confidence. He smiled when she addressed him as 'fearless leader'. "I assure you, Amazon...I am not fearless...I am the same as everyone else, with fears and values." He looked back down into the fire and nodded as Huron spoke with him. It was quite random how Huron decided that he remembered Drgn...but Huron's words helped.

Drgn looked back up to Amazon, "You're right Amazon...we know nothing of the future...other than the fact that if we decide now, we will only end up fighting each other before the war even begins. We shall train first in this month that we were given...and we must improve ourselves as much as possible." He stood up and smiled, brushing off his kimono a little. He walked over to Amazon and put a hand on her head as she sat. He looked up to the sky, "You are very smart Amazon...but like all of us, including myself, you have much to learn." He took a slight glance at her, "Thank you..."

Pugz looked up at the stars. She seemed to be drifting asleep, the music just seemed to relax her. She sat back against the tree and closed her eyes. "Tired?" "Nah...just...resting my eyes..." She yawned "Go to sleep, it's been a long day...but go by the fire first" "I'm ok, i'm not going to sleep yet..." "Fine, fine. but-" Roku looked at Pugz, who had fallen asleep. "Same old Pugz" She smiled

*he sat down somewhere beside the fire having finished speaking with Drgn, and now not daring to speak to Marth, and just held his hand over the fie and stared into the flames. he was a kid ... even in his race, only a mere kid. The youngest in appearance, and he couldn't understand if Drgn saw any real potential within him if he was marching around declaring war against two mysterious, powerful entities .... that he didn't even know the appearances of ... let alone their power. Pugz had laid down nearby him and he was sure she was talkiing to herself. he just looked at her. She looked asleep, yet shje was talking. he scratched his hair, confused, then just turned back to the fire and listened to the music and the crackling of the wood*

Hitomi ran off and grabbed the dress out of her pack and quickly got dressed. Then she put her traveling cloths in her pack and walked to the fire where Drgn was. "Hey Your right a party shouldnt be held right now." Hitomi smiled then looked up at the sky the wind blow and Hitomi sighed and wispered. "I love the wind and stars." Hitomi sat down next to Drgn with her arms around her knees staring into the flames in deep thought. A Tear slowly made its way down her cheek she made no atteot to wipe it away. She was thinking of what Drgn and Marth said. And it took alot of thinking and great saddness to think about what happend.

"No problem!" she exclaimed, glad that she could help Drgn out of his depression. He was right, that she did have alot to learn, but she didn't want to admit such a thing. When he patted her head she glared. Sheesh he always treats me like such a child! she thought, but then suddenly wondered exactly how old Drgn was. But her glare was instantly replaced with a smile. She stood up, brushing herself off as well (those logs were pretty dirty) and stretched. "Hey Drgn, if you don't mind, could we please begin training tommorow? I'm exhausted from all of this drama...*yawn*"

She saw Hitomi come up to the fire "Wow...pretty dress!" she said. She decided to leave the brother and sister alone, Hitomi looked like she was either upset or extremely happy, because there was a tear coming down her cheek.

Amazon walked over by where Pugz was laying. I can't believe that girl can just plop down an dsleep anywhere! she thought.

She walked over by a tree and sat down under it, wondering if sleep would come to her that night.

Drgn turned to look at Hitomi and smiled as she came to him with her dress on. "You look beautiful Hitomi...that dress was a good idea." he put an arm around her shoulder and hugged her close, then sat by the fire beside her. He saw a tear drop from Hitomis eye...likely caused by the challenging decision that was to be made. He scooted closer to her and looked into the sky, admiring the stars. They are so happy...gleaming like diamonds...and here we are...slowly coming closer to a war that will not soon be forgotten... Drgn thought to himself. He smiled, almost proud that at least the stars could enjoy life as it was.

Drgn let himself fall back slowly and softly landed on a bed of taller grass...taller than the rest at least. He put his hands behind his head and watched as the stars took turns glitering...seeming as if they were winking at him. "Hitomi..." Drgn said, keeping his eyes on the stars. "tonight...I see hope for us all."

Shoiri looked away from Liinna for a moment to study Marth for a moment and she sighed a little bit. It was wishful thinking that they could go against both Draken and Phoenix and live to tell about it. They were dead if anybody so much as considered the thought of it. Though, to tell the truth, the thought of them fighting those two did come across her mind for a few moments before Drgn had even suggested it out loud. She let out a soft sigh and closed her eyes. "What do we do?" she asked softly. "We can't go against them, we can't join either of them, and we can't decided not to join either of them? I don't know what to do..." she whispered

*finally bored of the fire and becoming tired over the lateness of the time, he layed back on the ground with his hands behind his head, looking up thinking*

*he closed his eyes and thought a bit to himself, then sat up and looked at Pugz, before getting up. he walked over to the edge of the trees then jumping up into one, sat back on a branch and just looked through the branches, before closing his eyes to sleep*

no need worrying .... I'm sure Drgn has some sort of a plan to make such a bold statement like he did....

"yes i think your right." Hitomi looked down at Drgn and smiled. "Thank you Maybe dresses arent all that bad after all." Hitomi looked up again at the stars and siad in a soft voice to herself. "They shine so bright, The stars seem so happy yet so much is told by them." Hitomi sighed. "They calm me somehow." She kept staring up at the shining stars another teat slid down her face but it was of happiness for meeting some one she once lost. She started humming the song her mother always song to her to keep her calm. Her ears were listening to every one but one always faced Drgn To make sure he hasnt left or something.

i'm lost, me and my lizzard "Hello?!!? Drgn!!! Marth!!!!!...uh..Shiori!!!!!" i scream " HEllllloooo!!!!!!! any one?!" i finaly give up and sit on a log, and mr. lizzard runs away "aww man now i'm all alone" i find something...its shiny and kinda glows..i pick it up, its a necklace.."ooooo pretty" i put it on, and suddenly a burst of calm goes over me, then..the last thing i remember is falling off the log...and passing out...

BIC: Drgn looked to his side and smiled when his sister began to notice the stars as well. He looked at one star in particular...the biggest in the sky at the moment...but only slightly bigger than the others. It glittered and almost told a story, but Drgn soon lost the attention of that star as it slowly faded.

Drgn sat up and stared aorund the camp site, taking time to notice his friends. They were all confused...all seeming distressed, or they had made up their minds. It was nice, however, to see them alive and talking. There is no time to be upset and disappointed...all it will do is discourage me. It's time to be normal Drgn, the one who leads...and the one who can do what it takes to complete his tasks. Drgn thought to himself as he took a look at a tree. "Hitomi." he lookede to his sister, "We can't stay here much longer...we must get moving and find somewhere to train." He then looked at Amazon, who had asked him about training in the morning. "Amazon, that idea is good...we shall train in the morning..." Drgn then remembered Carrie; he should be training her at dawn every morning...

Hitomi jumped up at the sound of training "we get to fight i love fighting," Hitomi started to bounce around almost frogetting she had a dress on. "opps if i want to bounce around i better change" Hitomi ran to her pack and got out her traveling cloths and changed quickly. then ran back "Ok now i can jump around but i wont." Hitomi smiled at her brother and fell back wards in the grass "I know we cant stay here any longer it was nice as long as it lasted im guessing were going to leave after training tomorrow morning right." Hitomi lifted her hand up over her head and pointed her palm up at the stars and acted like she was going to grab them. "they're so far away." She let her hand brop and shortly after fell asleep.

Huron was looking into the fire as he put his clock back on and completely covered himself. Huron then pulled out Agni and Rudra and put them in the ground in front of him “Ok now I’ll tell them about you two tomorrow but for now got to sleep… and no back talk” Huron said. Huron then slowly nodded off where he sat not moving in anyway.

Liinna had been paying little attention to what had been happening around her, she had completely shut herself in in order to find an answer to the question that plagued them all. And yet, even with the vast amount of knowledge programmed into her mind she could not find a satisfiyng answer to the question, at least not one that would satisfy everyone in the group. She sighed to herself, she was obviously back to square one at this point.

She tried to adjust herself to the happenings of now, but that single effort alone proved to be quite difficult. Words that were spoken turned into weird buzzes whenever she made any attempt at understanding them, images became blurs when she tried to see them a bit more clearly, her legs felt like gicantic gelatine puddings and were completely invapable of carrying her weight and a gicantic headache had taken up residence in her head.

Too tired to continue on, she curled herself up into a ball where she lay. The effort she had placed into finding the information had been more dangerous then Liinna had realized, even a programmed brain can handle only so much information at a time, and Liinna may have been walking on the edge for too long when trying to find a solution.

*with his eyes closed and with the soft sound of the music he managed to ease off into sleep. His dreams were of his family... his village, his tribe, everyone he once knew. He was running towards them ..... they were all waving ... then suddenly they all vanished ......... a massive dark figure rose above them ........ everyhing turned dead and empty. the floor beneath him vanished and he found himself falling ......

He woke up having just fallen out the tree. he sat up on his hands and knees and looked around realising where he was. he turned bright red and turned his head to the ground, wetting the grass a little before getting back up. He ignored the attention he was recieving from falling and tried to put the nightmare out his mind by sitting back in front of the fire and trying to sleep there*

Marth had to clear his mind, and he knew that. When morning came, he would start his month of training with meditation. It was the best thing that he could do in a time that was so confusing. The dragon slowly opened his blood red eyes; the fire was flickering in his stare. He looked straight ahead for a few moments, and then turned to look at Shiori. She was sitting beside Linna who seemed to be very tired. The thought of fighting together against both Draken and the Phoenix was the best idea that had come up, but there was no rationality in doing something that was doomed to fail. If only there was a way for us to be on even grounds with the gods... Marth thought. Even if we were to train for one month non-stop, we wouldn't even come close to attaining the power that we would need to defeat those entities.

Shiori seemed so distraut by this, and Marth almost regretted telling it to her and the rest of the group. Sadly, it was something they needed to know, because everyone has their own destiny, and their own path to follow. Keeing information like that from them was like taking away their choice. The dragon took off his armor and removed his shirt. He stood up and walked into the forst, listening for a stream. When he found one, not too far off, he fell to his knees. He looked into the water, seeing the dark sky and the stars reflecting in thr still surface. Thinking brifly about nothing, he cupped his hands and scooped uo some water. He splashed it into his face.

"What am I suppose to do now? I'm faced ith indecision and abondonment... There is no real answer to this. I thought when the time would come, I'd have my mind made, but in the 19 years I've lived, I still have no answer, and my head is spinning in confusion." Marth slowly brought himself to his feet, turned around and headed back towards the camp. He sat behind the tree that he was leaning against before. He didn't want to see te light of the fire. He stayed in the shadows, his eyes wide open. One month... Drgn you better think of something soon...

Drgn looked away from the calming atmosphere and took a glance at Marth. He knew there were things to decide...almost too many. I can't do this alone...I will need the support and cooperation of the entire group. Drgn thought to himself, then directing a thought to Marth, he said, Training will prove useless in the end...but it will build confidence. However...confidence is not what we should be worrying about right now, we need to find a way to unleash our true inner powers...and I believe that there is no way to actually train for this. But...we can also attempt the fusion technique that Pugz had used...with some unknown spirit or energy. We could fuse our bodies and minds...not to mention our powers, and that would duplicate the amount of power we hold, but of course, that will be useless as well. Drgn thought too much. It was making him tired to be thinking about something so devistating.

"I'm going to sleep now, Hitomi." Drgn said as he lay down on his side and slightly curled himself close to the fire. The music lulled him to sleep quickly, and he dreamt.

Shiori let out a soft sigh and watched Liinna after she curled up for a moment before she got off and brushed herself off. She looked towards Marth and decided to go over to him now, even though he still seemed to be in deep thought at the moment. Sometimes thinking too much too hard could be an unhealthy thing, even if it was over something so big and important. There was no doubt that he was thinking about the suggestion of fighting the two gods, and she wanted to shake him from that. They had a month to ponder about it and waste sleep over it before they decided what to do.

The half dragon sat down beside the black dragon and wrapped an arm around his shoulders, leaning her head on one of them. "I know that we need to decide," she told him quietly, just a little above a whisper. "However, you're going to strain your mind if you keep at it like this. Right now, things seem hopeless, I know. There's hardly anything to gain or benefit from choosing a side, is there? No matter what we choose, it's going to affect us in some way, right?" she asked, though she didn't exepect an answer. "I just...Want us all to be happy and safe. I want all of us to be able to live the best life that we possibly can," she told him.

By this time, the effects from the necklace have worn off. i pull myself to my feet and for some reason i feel as if i'm floating, but i know i'm not, i walk around a little and fine some water.. "ooo...." i shake my head, i look at it, tying to figure how to get over it, so..i fianlly settle for a runner...i take about 6 steps back, and run up. and jump...i make it but i trip at the same time, so i land on my face "owies," i murmer... i can kinda sence some people...but the thing is i know that i reconise them, but i dont remember their power. i dont even remember who i am, i look at the gem on the necklace, its white..a swirling white, i take it off....and i place it down, the swirling stops.., "whoa..."

Hitomi woke up and looked at Drgn as he fell asleep the said in a wisper. "Ill be back shortly, i have to go for a walk." Hitomi got up and slowly walked into the woods when she got to where the trees started she transformed into her dog form hoping no one would mess with her animal, human, or demon. She had some control over it now she could now change back when ever she wanted to unless she was to tired to move or use energy to do so. She know people would see a 7 foot (tip of the ears to her paws) Walking in the woods in the middle of the night. She walked to the pond where Drgn was only a couple hours ago and stared into the water. "Im an out cast i try to be friendly, nice, i try to make people laugh and smile. But its not working now." at that she turned back into her normal form and just stared at the water. "Drgn is the only one that takes me for who i am, nut hes my brother why wouldnt he." Hitomi just stared into the water with two words replaying them selves in her mind *out-cast* A few tearsleft her eyes but she hastaly wiped them away.

Amazon was still leaning against the tree, the wieght of the day making her more tired than she really was, she finally was able to get some sleep...

Dreams, or really, nightmares, wandered into her mind throughout the night. Thoughts of her home and her lost people haunted her, it was all her fault that day...the day that her race was wiped away....

She awoke with a start, and found herself in a cold sweat All because I wasn't strong enough... Though Drgn had spoken to her about this before, she still knew the facts. I will be stronger this time....I will not allow these 'gods' to be stronger than me....

Satisfied, she turned over and tried again to fall asleep....

Roku watched over Pugz while she was sleeping. It was a common thing for her to do. Every night while Pugz slept Roku would keep an eye out for any danger and tonight was no different, even though Pugz and herself were surrounded by people they could trust, she felt she should watch over her...she never understood why though. She noticed Pugz grimice in her sleep, she was obviously having a nightmare and Roku knew which one. "Pugz" She poked her lightly "Pugz wake up" She noticed Pugz going pale and her breathing became rapid as she panicked in her sleep. Roku pushed her over from her upright position and she jolted awake as she hit the ground. "Huh?" "Pugz, You were having a nightmare" "Oh, thanks..." She sat upright again and looked at the sky. Now she'll be up all night.

*he sighed and looked across at everyone else, feeling glad at least that he wasn't the only one who was getting any easy sleep. He kicked a loose piece of wood into the fire then got up and, hands behind his head, set off on a short walk to keep himself amused for a few minutes*

BIC: Shayan stopped, thinking it was foolish. She was different, though not in the inside. "We should start our own party (group). I can't stand thinking we will fall apart if we choose sides. I know I'm new, but I was shy to put some plans up." she said, looking sad.

"I know everyone's sad, but I think I can change the subject." she said. Shayan jerked the necklace and became loose in her hand. She held it by the top. "The Diamond of Jaken Hell. Does anyone know what this is?" she said. "I went into the forest, and my enemy attacked me, telling me this is The Diamond of Jaken Hell. I can't say for sure what it is, but whatever it is, it sounds horrible."

Hitomi looked at the water again and stood up. the walk made her feel better but she couldnt help feeling some thing was going to go wrong so vary wrong. Hitomi looked at her reflexcion in the water. It was like a mirror to water didnt move it was peaceful. As Hitomi looked in the water at her self she saw that she changed so much sence being with the group her apperance seems so different no. Her face has softend she didnt look like she was glareing all the time now and she smiled more then she used to. Hitomi put her hand over her heart. "My friends changed my out side apperance, But knowing i have a brother changed my heart." Hitomi got angery and grabbed a rock as big as her fist and through as hard as she could into the middle of the lake where it splashed and as she did that she screamed. "IM becoming soft, Im to trusting now, I hate it!" Hitomi walked to a oak tree and punched a hole strait though the tree, and walked back to camp hopeing no one heard her. She walked in the clearing and walked to a tree 50 feet from the fire where Drgn lay. She jumped on the highest branch that could support her weight. She fell asleep angery at her self and at what she's becoming.

BIC: Drgn woke up with a yawn and stretched widely. "Yyaaahhh...." he slightly shook his head and woke himself up. He walked over to a small stream and splashed some water in his face. "Aah...that's better..." he said as he whiped his eyes and watched as his vision went from blurry to clear. He returned to the group and smiled as he saw his friends sleep in peace. This would be the only day of peace until after the war.

He sat quietly beside Hitomi and stroked her hair and her ears as she slept. This next month will be apinful...and very stressful. We will need to work long and hard to become as powerful as I desire us to be... Drgn thought and he looked up at the sunrise as it came slowly over the horizon.

Hitomi's ears twitched every time Drgn hand touched then. After a munite of that she slowly woke up. She couldnt see strait at first but every thing cleared. "Is it morning already," Hitomi put a small smile on her face not forgetting about the night before and thought :im glad no one noticed me last night but sooner or later some one is going to find that hole in the tree: Hitomi sat there next to Drgn Watching the sun rise its was a wonderful sight.

Huron slowly woke up and started coiffing up blood, Huron put his hand over his mouth to try and stop the spray of blood that was shooting out “Yeh… 1 month from… now!” Huron said to himself. Huron stood up and looked around to find most people still asleep he then picked up Agni and Rudra. And walked out of the camp “Ok… now that where out of the camp you can talk.” Huron said, “Where are we going?” Agni asked, “Where going to train,” Huron answered, “What about the coiffing fit this morning?” Rudra Asked “Don’t worry about that” Huron replied. Huron finally came to a clearing “Here is good” Huron said. Huron then started to train with Agni and Rudra. Huron was doing this that Humans could only imagine with those blades. Huron was a little worried about the large clang noises he was making he didn’t want to wake up the group.

Pugz has been awake all night. After her nightmare she couldn't sleep and had ended up sitting up a tree watching the sunrise. She heard Drgn and the others and dangled off the branch by her legs "Mornin'" She yawned. She looked at Hitomi, she heard most of the commotion she made last night but didn't see anything "Sleep ok, Hitomi?" She dropped off the branch and landed on her hands before flipping to her feet, she was getting a headache from the blood rushing to her brain.

Hitomi sighed "No not Really i didnt get much sleep ether i stayed up most of the night and as i recall so did you." Hitomi turned around and looked at pugz. "that means you heard me last night and i would perfere if you not mention any thing to any one." Hitomi smiled "Ive caused trouble in this group before and it wasnt pretty but that was on the cresent moon i dont know when that is now thow." Hitomi had a sad smile on her face noing full well that Drgn probley heard every thing she just said to pugz

*he yawned and looked up as the sun managed to get on his face. He shielded it with his hand and squinted around then realising it was morning, turned from the sun and sat up. He picked his shirt up from the floor and looked around, before going over to where the campfire lay remaining as ashes. Drgn and Hitomi were talking already, so he didn't dare try to interrupt, but he saw Pugz up and smiled*

*he threw his shirt down next to the food and stretched a little, then, wandering until he found a small pond, sat down and splashed water into his face to wake his eyes up, then took a drink. he then returned to the camp, retrieved his shirt, and put it on, not aware much of the dirt stain down the back of it*

Drgn looked at Hitomi as she spoke to Pugz. He smiled a little and looked down at the dead fire. "Hitomi...I heard it all last night...my sleep was thin, I could hear almost everything..." he then looked into her eyes, "but it doesn't matter to me...we all need time to let out our frustration." He put a hand on her head and patted her lightly.

He then took his hand back and held himself up by his arms as he sat, leaned back. "Pugz..." he turned to her, "If we must decide to fight on one of the sides...I want you to know, I have chosen Drakan. It is us individuals who create happiness for ourselves...we need no Phoenix. So if we must live through pain and suffering...but have freedom, I will make my own happiness." he took a glance at Hitomi, then looked back at Pugz, "But...I am still going to try to have my triumph over the both of these entities...I will try to fight them both and create my own universal law..." He smiled, then let his bangs cover his face as he looked down at the dead fire pit again.

Hitomi looked at Drgn "Im with you all they way." Hitomi was alittle flustered she didnt mean for Drgn to her her rage the night before. Hitomi then jumped up did a back flip in the air and landed 5 feet away from Drgn. "I cant wait till we train i ahvent had a good fight in a long while." Hitomi's ears were strait up and every step she took had an extra spring to it. Then out of no wher she jumped a good 50 feet in the air and did some flips and turns like they were nothing trying to losen up her body and she felt great that out burst last night helped her so much.

Liinna awoke feeling a lot better then the night before. Her head was okay, her legs were working normally and her hearing and sight had returned to normal. She softly sighed to herself as she stood up and wavered. She still wasn't fully recovered from the ordeal she had put herself trough last night. No matter, it would heal with time.

As she got used to her surroundings, she noticed that the others were waking up as well. Drgn-sama and Hitomi-sama were training, Pugz-sama was still waking up, Huron-sama was nowhere to be seen and Lyon-sama was taking a short drink. She noticed a stain of dirt on Lyon-sama's back and walked over to him. "Please hold still Lyon-sama" she said as she held her palm over Lyon's back and channeled her magic trough the shirt, separating the dirt from the fabric. After a moment she stopped channeling and the dirt fell to the floor, leaving a stainless shirt on Lyon-sama's back. Liinna smiled before she started wavering again, her head spinning and stomach churning. Apparently using magic this soon after her little escapade wasn't that good of an idea.

"Mornin' Lyon" She smiled then looked at Drgn "Ah, so it did sink in, i was hopeing it would. A brave man- like yourself- once told me to follow what i believed in, he was a wise man and he'd lived for thousands of years so i trusted him" She looked around at the rest of the group "Have the others decided too? Will they pick a side or join you in defeating both?"

bic- Amazon stirred, then mumbled "No I'm the strongest....haha loser....you'll be lucky to lick the dirt I walk on......" suddenly, a bird plopped down delicately on her shiny pink hair, and she jumped up in a flash, and hastily drew her katana, its tip at the birds throat. The bird looked at her solomely and then flew away, and she embarassingly put her katana away. I hope no one else saw that.... she thought.

Walking up to the others she said "So who knows where we're gonna be training today? Or are we training by ourselves?

*He didn't really see Liinna approach him but he definitely felt a strange sensation in his back. He looked back after putting his shirt on to see that the dirt had gone. he smiled at her, but stopped when she dropped down in some sort of pain*

um... are you okay?

*he turned and took hold of her arm to stop her swaying and tried to get her to look at him*

If there's something wrong, maybe you should tell Drgn...

*he looked across, then called out at Drgn informing him Liinna was having some sort of problem, before letting her lean on him to keep herself balanced*

Shayan looked up. "Hey guys, mornin. " she said. Her chest hurt like hell. "Ahh!" she yelped. She fell down, closing her eyes tight and puting her hand on her chest. "It's okay guys," she managed to say but she yelped again. "Ahh! No seriously guys, I'm okay." she said as she got up and brushed herself. "Hey, no worries! And to answer your question, Pugz, I will join Drgn in out own army."

"Where will we train? Of course, we should train at our own levels, right?" Shayan said. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's hit the road!" Shayan jumped and raise her hands. "Ahh!" she yelped again. "Ugh..."

Drgn jumped up after hearing all the screaming. Lyon had called him over to help Liinna; apparently she was having some kind of fit. And Shayan was yelping in pain, obviously not alright. He ran over to Liinna first, because Shayan had told him she was fine. He knelt down beside Liinna and moved Lyon back a little, "Step back...I'm going to see what's wrong." Drgn put a hand on Liinna's forehead. It was quite the bit warmer than usual. She may have been coming down with a fever of some sort. "Liinna...how do you fel? Are you okay?" Drgn asked, trying to hear her speak to show she was alright.

o.c.c. Sorry guys, I was away all week. But I'm back now. Sorry I kept you waiting Chibi. And I finally caught up with the reading... So here i go. I'm guessing this post will be short... don't know yet.

b.i.c.All night, Marth sat still and said nothing. He just stared forward, unblinkingly. When Shiori had fallen asleep next to him, he put his arms around her, still looking ahead. Draken would be an obvious choice for the dragon, if it weren't for what happened to his people a few long years ago. On the outside he seemed so strong, but Marth was weaker than he let on. Moving on was difficult for him. The memories of that day still haunted him.

Leaving everybody in a position where they could destroy his family like that again was something that Marth couldn't accept. He may be stronger now... he may have the ability to stop anyone if they ever tried to do that to his family again.... but then again, he may not. If only I could let go. He thought clearly for the first time, as the sun started to come up.

Shortly after, a huge commotion behind him, (back by the fire) had started. Shayan was yelping in some sort of pain, and he could feel that Linna was quickly losing energy. Marth didn't bother to look. He didn't want to wake Shiori, and Shayan insisted that she was alright.Drgn was tending to Linna, so all the dragon had to do was think. Marth looked at Shiori. "My indecision is only making this harder for you..." Marth said to her, not sure if she was awake enough to hear.

OOC: Aww, don't worry about it, g0d! I really haven't been on all that much, either. I was studying for exams all week...I passed everything and Friday was my last day of school! I'm so happy! :D

Shiori heard the words that Marth spoke to her, having been awaken by the commotion that had gone on moments before. Her eyes slowly opened and she looked at him, shaking her head slightly. "No," she told him firmly, placing a kiss on his cheek. "No, it's not making it hard on me at all," she said truthfully. "You take as long as you need to decide," the half dragon told him with a smile on her face. "You don't need to rush for me. If I were the one to want to make the decision, then...Well, I'd probably go over the time limit in deciding. I'm one of the most indecisive people in this world," she said with a wink.

Huron was still training with Agni and Rudra after some time he put them away and started with Beowulf. Huron was then doing all this martial arts stuff at the end of his morning training Huron punched a tree and the tree fell over hitting the ground hard and it was a farley big tree as well as the tree was on the ground Huron jumped and dive kicked the tree bracing it in two and sending the two half’s of the tree into the air as they came back down Huron grabbed both half’s of the tree and then put them over his shoulders and started walking back to camp. When Huron got back to camp he saw that most of the people where up Huron put the half’s of tree next to the fire pit. Huron sat down on one of the trees and pulled out Agni and was starting to cut up the other tree.

"Just lemme see what's wrong with me." she said as she went into a tent, unbuttoning her shirt. "AHH!!" she said. There was a deep gash in her chest, all swollen and infected. "Oh my god. Eww."

She came out, with her shirt buttoned up. "I just found out, I have an infected cut."

Is she allright Drgn? what's wrong with her? ......

*he backed off a little, not really able to think of anything he could do to help. He wanted to, but he knew he was useless. he didn't know what do ... he didn't know what to do at all. He let Drgn attend to her, feeling low doing so, and sunk down on the floor. He couldn't understand why he was so useless here. HJe suddenly began thinking joining this group was a bad idea - he wasn't being useful. he was just hanging around like excess baggage. something they could do without. He managed to get up and slowly retreated somewhere closer to Shiori as he felt he could relate to her better than Drgn or anyone else, but didn't make a move to talk to her or Marth who was with her. He just sat down and hung his head and whispered to himself*

why am I useless .... someone just help me... someone tell me what I need to do ...

Pugz made her way over to Lyon, Drgn had Liinna so she didn't seem needed. She overheard Lyon talking to himself and knelt down infront of him "You can start by not doubting yourself, you are not useless everyone has a part in this group. Even me"

Hitomi slowly walked away from every one they were acting alittle weird to her she would rather fight then watch. she kept twitching "um um can we train now or are we already training?" Hitomi walked over to Drgn and wispered in his ear "They're scaring me." Hitomi stood there watching every one just being alittle crazy. Then she sighed and walked away about 50 feet and pulled out her Katana and started going through many diffacalt movements and slashes. Not caring if any one got in her way all she wanted to do was push herself to her max but it was alittle hard with out some one else to fight with.

Liinna blinked hard a few times as things became a blur again. She could feel Lyon-sama supporting her, then a shift of weight... things became a blur again and the headache was returning. She coughed and struggled to fill her lungs again.... why was it so hard to breathe? Liinna suddenly remembered the frequent warnings about her and her sisters’ mental capacity. Even though their programmed knowledge was greater then most other beings, there was a biological limit to how much information could be processed in a certain amount of time. If that amount was surpassed for a lengthy period of time, even though the mind could handle it, the body would simply overheat from the stress.

She opened her eyes to see that Drgn-sama had taken over from Lyon-sama. He asked her a question, Liinna could understand enough to know he was asking her if she was all right. She struggled to get enough air in her lungs for the answer, pain searing trough her lungs as if a burning knife cut trough it.

"Body.... overheating..... Tried... to hard.... to find a... solution last night.... Sorry... Drgn-sama..... I couldn't...... find one..... that would.... be agreable..... for everyone."

At the confused look on Drgn-sama's face, she explained.

"Mind... is like a library..... entire.... histories.... have..... been programmed... But.... if called.... upon.... too long.... the body.... can't keep up.... and ends up.... overheating like mine....."

She winced and gasped for breath, the burning knife in her lungs seemed to turn into a gigantic claymore as she struggled to fill her lungs.

Drgn understood only slightly, what Liinna had told him through each gasp of air. What he could understand the best was that she was dying. He lifted her head up close to his chest, her legs still loosly lying on the floor, and he spoke to her. "Liinna...tell me what we can do to help. You are the only one who knows of this...special reconstruction that you had undergone...I am very ignorant of this...I need your help in order to help you." Drgn held her a little farther back from him to let her take in air.

He looked over at Lyon slightly, with a helpless expression, knowing that he had taken the boy's duty away, and likely his dignity. Drgn beaconed his hand over towards himself to Lyon. He knew that there was something Lyon could do.

*he sniffed a few times through Pugz talking to him but didn't answer her or look at her until she finished*

but it's just when I try helping someone I never know what to do..... I only know how to help myself.... I suppose it helps if you have family to help you.

*he sniffed. He doubted she understood what he meant by having family, though he knew exactly what he meant. He was more scared than useless. Scared he'd hurt someone he trusted enough to call a friend. Worse he couldn't really get around it. He sniffed again*

I just want to be useful in some way. Maybe I've been alone too long.... but I like trying to help, at least-

*he remembered Liinna was in pain and looked at Drgn and Liinna. They were talking. Liinna wasn't able to say anything coherently and he couldn't hear her talking anyway. He began looking away but he caught Drgn turning and he realised Drgn was gesturing him over. He looked at Pugz. Her look told him enough*

I mustn't doubt myself *he stood up and walked towards Drgn* I mustn't doubt myself. I'm not useless.....

*he stopped near Drgn. He wanted to help, if that was what Drgn wanted him for.*

bic- Pugz reached out and stroked his hair gently as he spoke. When he looked at her she saw doubt in his eyes "You're right Lyon, i don't understand...but i understand enough to know what you mean by being helpless cause you were alone, i've been alone since i was young..around 5 or 6 i would guess by how small i was" She looked over to Liinna "You knew what to do, you called Drgn...as long as you know when to say you need help, you're never useless" She watched him stand and walk over to Drgn, once again hopeing her words were wise enough for the young dragon.

Hitomi stopped and looked at Liinna for a second and took a step forward and stopped some thing came forward in her mind hoplessness :I cant help her why am i hera i dont help any one: Then an evil voice popped in her head :Thats right young demon you are hopless you are a borden to you brother and friends what have you done to help them: Hitomi stood there then said out loud alittle over a wisper "I ... i cant help im just a bordon." Hitomi snapped and ran knowing she couldnt help her friend and she didnt even try the voice was right she hasnt done any thing to help any one all she wanted to do now was run. Hitomi ran into the forest and kept running tears streaming down her face till she came to another clearing. When she took off she dropped her Katana. When she was in the middle of the clearing she stopped and felt dizzy then all of a sudden she was on the ground she blacked out.

Drgn smiled slightly as Lyon walked over to him. "Lyon...I need some herbs. I know there are some -" he stopped, noticing Hitomi running in tears, into the forest that he was about to mention to Lyon. "-there are some where Hitomi is going. Follow her and find the yellow-leaved clover. It has the ability to stop pain teporily...and it will likely cool down the fever that Liinna is going through. Please hurry...and get some water from a pond." He gave Lyon a slight push to start him in the direction of the forest.

What happened to Hitomi? Why was she so upset...and why so sudden? Drgn wondered to himself as he kept a hold on Liinna, who seemed to be slowly dehydrating. "Liinna..." He looked down to her pale face, "just keep breathing slowly...take some of this for now." He put a piece of leftover meat to her mouth, waiting for her to bite it away from his fingers. "Hurry, you must takeit to keep energy flowing inside you." He continued to worry about Hitomi.

[Mac]

*he listened to Drgn tell him about something he had to get, though he wasn't sure the push was exactly necessary. He ran off towards where he was sure Drgn had pointed him. but Hitomi had gone down there too? ..... maybe he should find her as well as this yellow clover...*

*he keeps on running down through the trees, and then sees Hitomi lying unconscious in a clearing. he stops next to her*

*he bends down and turns her onto her side to look at her .... she's not aware he'sthere by the looks of it. He looks around not sure whether to leave her or not*

Hitomi know some one was there but didnt know if that person was friend or fow. She woke up with a start, and almost clawed the person that was next to her and then jumped up and said alittle suprised "Loyn!" Hitomi looked at her claws and rememebered she almost attacked him "IM sorry i didnt know what came over me." Then she looked around "Where am i How did i get here?" Hitomi turned around a few times then looked at Loyn Her hearing picking up every thing from camp "What are you looking for ill t..try to help if i can." Hitomi remembered the voice that said she never helped any one and that she was a hopless Demon.

Shayan closed her eyes. Suddenly, the pain was gone. "Hey, that scar was nothing!" Shayan said. She looked closely at everyone. "Hey, what's up with the sadness and the pain?" Liina was losing consiousness, Kera was sad, Lyon is mad cause he thinks he's worthless but he's not.

"Guys! What's happening? It's like, something bad is being put on us, one by one! Like a sadness slash pain curse!" Shayan said. But she stopped acting stupid. "Drgn? What's happening? I'm scared, it's all happening, the warnings..." she had tears in her eyes, dropping to the ground and crying. She cried for long but stopped. "Drgn, I have to do something, don't travel to the training place without me. DON'T." she said.

She jumped over to where the Sheila was. "Sheila!" she called. "Shayan! You came over to give the Diamond of Jaken Hell to me? Thank you!" "No! Why are you putting a curse on my friends? What are you doing?" "Whatever do you mean?" "They are acting weird? Don't deny it!" "No I'm not putting a curse on your friends." The same guy who slept with her mother (Drakan) was in the same form as that time. "He is. This is Drakan, my fiancee." Sheila kissed him. "Shayan! Or should I say, Katheryne Yashan Kitsune?" "You...you!" Shayan said.

"Yes, it's me. The one who slept with your mother. We created you!" Shayan was about to leave. "No, hun. You're not finished. I will hurt you as hard as hell, not unless, of course, you give me The Diamond of Jaken Hell!" "No! Never!" "Then...Drakan!" Drakan runninng, with multiple attacks. "Oh, damn. Here we go..."

Drgn looked up at Pugz as she approached him and asked if she could help. *he gets down on his hands and knees and starts searching through the tall grass and through flower patches and under trees for this clover Drgn wants. he looks back a few times every now and again hoping to see assistance. he begins feeling he should give up as he can't seem to find it...*

No... Pugz told me not to give up.

*he shook his head, then randomly slapped himself to shake some sense into him. he paused hoping he didn't draw attention, then crawling into extra long grass between two trees came across something that was definitely yellow and looked like a clover*

Huron gets up and turns around and see Drgn and Liinna. Liinna was on the ground in pain Huron walks over and put his hand on her head “Don’t worry Drgn” Huron said as he started to suck the pain out of Liinna. Soon Huron was starting to cry out in pain the pain he had taken from Liinna. Huron was panting really hard as he kept taking the pain out of Liinna's body and giving it to him self.

Hitomi stared in Drgns diractoin "Looks like you didnt need my help ill go back to camp sence you guys found what you were looking for." Hitomi took off again but this time jumped through the trees as fast as she could possiblely go. After about 5 minutes she landed near Drgn and Liinna "How is she, Is she ok?" Hitomi was alittle worried but she know she couldnt help Her eyes clouded over and she just stood there looking off in space waitiong for Drgn to answer.

Drgn looked up to Hitomi who was standing next to him and he smiled, "It's alright Hitomi...Liinna's fine...I'm just waiting for Lyon and Pugz to come back with a yellow clover so I can ease Liinna's pain a bit." He put a hand on his sister's arm and patted it lightly, letting her know she was alright.

BIC: "Asyrum Flame!" yelled Shayan. "Waverunner!" Drakan said. "Diamond Dust!" Shayan yelled. For a long time, they were hurting each other. Sheila seemed bored. "Hurry up and kill her!" Shayan looked at her, then at Drakan. "If you want the Diamond of Jaken Hell, you gotta get it from here." She said as she pointed to her n00bs. "Rahh!" Drakan said. He beat her up, then stopped. "What are you doing? Grab the Diamond!" "Don't be so sure." Drakan said. "She doesn't have it. I can see through her."


"Eeww!!!!" Shayan screamed. But she was weak and she only limped. She couldn't walk. "We'll get it when she has it." Sheila said. Shayan was on the floor, sitting side-saddle, having one arm move her out of the palace. She was doing that for the whole night. Finally, she was back at the camp.

BIC: Drgn told Huron to stop absorbing her pain, "Huron...the more pain she can take alone, the stronger she will become...I'm only gathering this yellow clover to help her through it." Drgn then looked up as Lyon brought the clover back to him. "Yes Lyon, this is the right one! Thank you. You've been a great help!" Just before Drgn turned back to Liinna to give her the herb, he noticed Pugz from the entrance of the forest, talking to herself again...but only imagined she was making a to-do list or something...yet, he was curious to find out what she was doing every time she talked with herself.

He smiled, then turned back to Liinna with a more serious expression, "Liinna...I need you to open your mouth," He said as he crushed the clovers in his hand. "I want to give you this herb to help ease the pain you're going through...please just swallow the speckles that fall onto your tongue." He helped her open her mouth and dropped the small pieces of clover into her mouth. "Swallow this now...it should work in a minute, and your pain will be reduced greatly." He stroked her hair to help calm her.

As he watched the beautiful girl in pain, hoping only that she would be awake enough to swallow the herb, he heard a sound. A loud crack was what it sounded like...perhaps a large twig was stepped on. It was near the group, so Drgn asked, "Lyon, Huron, watch over Liinna for me. Make sure she swallows the clovers. I should be back quickly." He got up and put Liinna's limp body into Lyon's arms. "Take good care of her for me...I shouldn't be long." He jetted off into the direction of the noise. He was very excited, and curious to know what was there. I hope this thing is no danger to my group... He thought as he ran into someone, knocking them both over.

He had landed on top of a person...he could distinguish the shape of a human body. "Oh...sorr...Ra...Raina!" He got up and lifted her up in front of him. "Raina! You're back...where the hell have you been?!" He took her close and hugged her tightly, in a loving way, not tight enought to hurt her. He kissed her and looked at her face, it hadn't changed...and she'd been gone for at least a few days, wandering alone for some reason. "Raina...I'm glad you're back. I thought I would never see you again..."

*he smiled when Drgn thanked him for bringing the clover, and he watched Drgn help Liinna to swallow it. when Drgn asked him to look after Liinna, he just nodded and went over to her*

*he tried to be reassuring and helpful to her hoping that she'd listen. he kept his eyes on her, but he becam,e slightly distracted hearing Pugz talking to herself. he wondered why exactly she talked to herself, then, ignoring her for Liinna, decided he'd ask her later when Liinna was better*

Hitomi's ears pirked up "I smell Raina!" Hitomi looked at the Diraction Drgn traveled and sighed "Better leave them alone Raina has been gone a while." Hitomi Walked away seing she wasnt needed like normal so she desided a walk in the forest will do her good. After she was deep in the forest she sat down and closed her eyes listening to every thing around her the birds the wind blowing, The scent of the forest and every thing that was around. She was so far that she couldnt hear any of her friends even with her good hearing. soon she fell asleep while sitting every thing was so peaceful at the time.

As Drgn-sama told her to eat the clover, Liinna did so. The effects weren´t immediate, but slowly the pain began to subside. She moaned as the pain lowered to bareable levels. Her body seemed to be stabelizing, the clover slowed down the body in a sort of emergency stop, then went for a total reboot. This, of course, resulted in Liinna feeling very tired. She opened her eyes and found herself lying in Lyon-sama´s arms. Odly enough, she found it to be very comforting. She softly murmered a thanks as she curled up into his arms, content to just stay like that until the aftereffects of the clover dissapear.

ooc: Personally, I don't think it is the lack of posting causing this, it is the overflow of posting. If people have to check back and reply every 30 minutes, they will, at a certain point, run out of things to say. I once was in an RPG where people posted maybe once every two days, sometimes not even posting for a week. And yet it ran very smoothly and went on for a long long time.

the RPG "The Journey: Tale of the Legendary Phoenix" will be running again Tuesday, June 28th (or sooner if I feel like it lol). There are a couple of things I would like to say first however:

- weekends (limited posts = 1-2 posts/person)
- weekdays (as many as necessary)
- no abbreviations of words (such as; omg, wtf, ....u get it)
- no spamming (or talking about anything that doest't relate to story or character)

that should be it for now.....sorry that i have to be so controling, but i wasn't very pleased with some members' choices...more than most of you were excellent and i'm sure you will continue to be excellent at posting, but one or two of you need to brush up on your skills.

thanks again....please, everyone, post on june 28th - 30th to show that you're back in. if you don't post between those days, i will assume that you're either away, or out of the RPG.

Drgn looked over to his group from where he was standing with Raina, and suddenly, all the pain in his heart, the fear, the confusion...was gone. He realized now that there was nothing to be afraid of, because his friends...his family was by his side. He saw hope, finally. We can do this...we will win this fight. And if nobody will help me...then I must fight the Phoenix and Drakan alone...but I'm sure that my friends will help me, there is not a doubt in my mind that somebody will help... Drgn thought to himself.

Drgn walked back to rejoin his group and gathered them close to him. "Everyone, gather up over here..." he called, "we will be departing for a new training destination shortly, and I would like to know if there is anywhere the any of you would like to visit before we begin our training." A small smile showed on his face, because of his loss of the confusion he recently had...he saw this group turning to a good light as their final month as one drew nearer.

ooc: Yay finally its posting time

Hitomi Decided it was time to return back to camp. She begone to worry about every one "Im sure know one misses me." Hitomi wispered to herself and slowly walked back to camp. The woods were quite only the wind was blowing. Hitomi kept walking she was at the edge of the clearing and stopped. She saw every one talking together happy as can be. She then walked up and placed her hand on Drgn's Shoulder and slowly smiled

Shayan was sure no one would come for her. She was injured really badly, her arms, they were scarcely covered in flesh. Her legs, she couldn't move them anymore, her head, spinning and hurting like a spear was piercing her head. In the middle of the forest, she closed her eyes, shut forever. She was dead.

*Lyon looked over from looking at Liinna as Drgn called everyone together. He walked with Liinna down to where Drgn had gathered everyone else, only doing so with Liinna as he was sure she wanted him to do so, then stopped with the group and listened to what Drgn said*

*he then looked around. he sniffed a few times, he was sure he could smell someone's blood from nearby*

um ..... is anyone missing? ... I smell someone's hurt... I.... I hope it's not someone from this group.

Back at the Kitsune Palace....

"Ugh!" said Sisheido. "What's wrong?" said her husband, Isen. "My, my heart. Somethings wrong. It's, it's someone from our family. It's hurt or worse, it's dead." said Sisheido. "Come. We have to go to the Kitsune Crystal." said Isen. As they ran to the Crystal, they were doing a spell, a spell that makes them see who the person was on the Crystal. The Crystal saw Shayan, dead in her bloody tracks. "My sister!" Sisheido said as her tears ran down, then dropped on the Crystal. 'Please, save her. Take me in place of her. My cruel beings have deserved it..' Sisheido thought. A light shone on Shayan.

Back to Shayan....

Shayan was dreaming. She was dreaming about herself. She was dreaming of what'd happened to her. She, she was refreshed of her memory. She dreamed, the truth about her. She was dead 1000 years ago but magically reborn with a faded memory. When she was born, she woke up from her grave naked. It was weird because when she was reborn, she was born at the same age she died. She, her family and everyone except from the earlier years were supposed to be in the case of 'Cease to Exist' but wasn't. Her dream was sent to the group, and was also sent to her family. Both now know what happened, and now know the truth.

Drgn's mind instantly shot into a dream, and as he looked around the group, it seemed they all shared in his sudden glimpse of Shayan's life and death. Shayan...that's her blood we smell...Shayan..... Drgn's eyes opened widely as he saw her death in his dream, and his eyebrows curved upwards in pain. "Everyone...we shall continue this gathering later, Lyon and I will go to find Shayan." Drgn took a quick look at Lyon to see what expression he would have on his face after beign appointed to join along.

"Anybody else who wishes to come, please follow me...I know this place in the forest where she is lying...we walked through here...when Pugz was attacked...we must return there to find Shayan..." He grabbed Lyon's shoulder and whipped him around, looking into the other direction and he began to run, still holding Lyon to keep them together. He then let go of Lyon, realizing that it may have been a bit painful because of the pressure he put on his shoulder.

As Shayan was dying, she was completely happy. "By the time they getto the forest, they will find me dead." she said weakly to herself. So she put out that Diamond Drgn had bought for her, for the group, doing a spell on the diamond to help them remember her. And her heart for her family, to help them remeber her.

*out of nowhere, he fell into some strange dream. he knew he wasn't asleep...... so how could it- he saw the life and death of Shayan and, despite being freaked out by the vision, he was scared for her safety. He was in such shock he didn't even answer Drgn or realise he was being pulled along by him until he nearly tripped over himself*

wh.... uh.... me? uh... okay...

*Drgn's grip on his shoulder had began to make it feel numb. he didn't complain, more concerned about reaching Shayan than feeling in his arm*

I knew something was wrong .... I just knew it ...

She was already dead by the time Sisheido got to her. "No.." said Sisheido as she cried. She picked up Shayan's body and her gift as she went back to the castle. When they got there, she was placed on the ground then was in care of Isen. "Stay here and take care of her. Her group needs a talk." said Sisheido. Sisheido went to the groups camping place with her Ice staff. "Leave my sister alone."

Pugz woke from the strange dream "Weird...was i the only one that had that dream?" She shrugged and stretched. She felt something start to give way under her "...right the branch" She jumped up to the one above her and watched the other one fall "Wasn't me!" She yelled down "I swear!" She jumped to the ground, landing softly for being so high up and looked to the group "Did anyone else have a dream...a weirdish one?"

Drgn finally arrived at the spot of the forest where he knew Shayan was, but he only found a woman standing there with a staff. "Who are you...and where is Shayan!?" Drgn placed his hand on the hilt of his sword, ready to draw it and fight. He whispered to Lyon, "Get your sword ready, this may be a battle." Looking back up to the woman, he seemed...calm. This woman had nothing to do with Shayan's disappearance or the trouble she was in.

Drgn, instead, tried to reason with the woman and asked, "Why are you here...who are you? And...do you know about Shayan?" Drgn didn't realize it, but he was shivering slightly from the fear of something bad happening to Shayan.

Hitomi saw to dream to and snapped out of it as fast as she could She needed no more unpleasent memmories in her head. She has shacking hands and needed to rest she wanted to help Shayan But she could do nothing to help. Hitomi walked to a large tree and jumped into it. She found a branch that could hold her weight. "Drgn will call if he needed help." Some times When something bad happends Hitomi can sware she hears Drgn but he's normalt out of her hearing range so she thinks its her mind playing tricks on her. "Be alright every one." Hitomi said before she fell into a unpleasent sleep.

*Him and Drgn reached a clearing in the forest and Drgn stopped before a woman who was stood there. there wasn't anyone hurt or dying there. he looked around, sniffing, but the smells told him that this was where Drgn had been going anyway.*

who is the woman?

*he looked at Drgn, then back at the woman as Drgn whispered to him to be on his guard. He slowly rested his hand over the hilt of his katana in a way as to not appear to be on guard for a fight, in case the woman wasn't intending to fight at all, and to not appear threatening. He looked around again and sniffed, trying to figure out what had happened to the injured person he'd smelled*
