I think Gogeta is stronger too. This guy has the habilities and the dominance of Goku and has the boost of Vegeta. This means that Gogeta is stronger than the other two. First of all cause Vegeta has never won a battle vs Goku and second is that this two are fathers of the other two that have less experience and power.

u guys are all wrong gogeta is the strogest because he's a super saiyan 4 and gotenks almost had equal power as an ssj3 in which the 18 episode of dbgt gotenks went ssj4 for only five minutes. the potara earrings make a stronger fusion but they are final u cant unfuse after and fusion with the potara earrings.
the reason vegeta and goku got out of fusion (vegito) was because they were absorbed by super buu. if they wanted to fight omega shenron by using vegito
they couldnt. why? because they destroyed the potara earrings in the buu saga
and #2 they didnt want to stay together because vegeta was to syked he got to ssj4. we never saw vegeta ssj4 power. and one more thing the fusion dance
lasts for 5 minutes, the potara earrings last for ever unless you wish for an unfuse with the namek dragon.

I dont think we can really judge this question in favor of gogetta that quickly. Vegetto is only a short time in the series and vegetto was still lerning how to use his abilitys. I think is we give him a bid more time that he is as strong as Gogetta.
Simple logic is also infavor of my little theory: lets say Goku is the number 8 and Vegeta is the number 6. is we do 8+6 the answer is 14. but if we do 6+8 the answer is also 14. So If we take Gogetta (main personalaty was Goku) It would be Goku + Vegeta. if we take Vegetto (main personalaty was Vegeta) it would be Vegeta + Goku. so in the end the effect would be the same because they will end up evenly strong in the end. Even If Gogetta becomes SSJ lvl 4 in the end Vegetto can do the same because he is the same as Gogetta. the only different is the personalaties. where not Goku and Vegeta evenly strong in the end of DBGT?

In the anime the elder kaio (whats his name, Daikaioshin or something?) states that the Potara earrings greatly multiply the power of the two people being fused as it fuses them completely together into a perfect combination that lasts forever

the fusion dance is a temporary thing, nothing more and is not enhanced by magical items IE the Potara

lastly, Majin Buu after he absorbed Gohan was the strongest villain in all of DBZ, no questions asked. The fact that Vegetto was able to basically trounce him shows Vegetto was far stronger and therefore the strongest character with the highest battle power in DBZ.

Gogeta may have beaten Janemba with relative ease, but that says nothing. Gokuu in SSJ3 couldn't beat Kid Buu either, so using the comparison between SSJ3 Gokuu vs Janemba and Gogeta vs Janemba isn't valid. Majin Buu was at his best, a good deal stronger than Janemba (Janemba however was immensely powerful but not as much)

Sagat, technically speaking Gogeta doesn't exist at all. Since the movies aren't cannon either.

I remember the Elder Kaoi saying the earrings was a better type of fusion since it lasted forever, don't remember the multiplying power bit. But both fusions add power anyway. And your comparison doesn't hold that much water since it literally took Gogeta 5 seconds to destroy Janemba and he didn't propperly show his true power.

As for who I actually think is the strongest, Gogeta and Vegetto are atleast equal or Vegetto is stronger. I'm not sure if that whole rival thing only adding more to the affect of the fusion applies to the dance.

First off Elric:

1. Gogeta is Gokuu dominant - big deal? That does not make it stronger on that fact alone because ... as I swear I pointed out already, Kaiosama and DaiKaio-shin both pointed out that Vegeta is by far the tactically superior fighter and this is proven again and again in the series when you watch his style of fighting against enemies.

Second, so what, Vegeta never beat Gokuu... point being? Vegeta was actually slightly winning the fight vs Gokuu when he was Majin if you pay attention, especially when both are at SSJ2 near the end of it (yes I know Gokuu had the ability to go SSJ3, that is a separate reason altogether).

Here's another way to look at it: Gokuu would have died a hundred freaking times if it wasn't for Vegeta saving his hide. Let's recap quickly where Vegeta saved Gokuu:

against Android 19
against Metal Coola
against Android 13
against Brolly (where it was his ki that gave Gokuu enough power for his shenron punch)
against Janemba

The whole point of the end of the series and how they talk about the two is that typically, the two are equal in the end. Gokuu has more power though because of the purity of his heart and how he trains for the sake of training as opposed to Vegetas hate and desire for revenge. That's the only difference really.

vegeta was a high born saiyan (aka prince) and goku was a low born sent to earth to destroy yada yada.
Goku does have a brother, and his name is Raditz (sp?)
