Elfen Lied : Anyone else watch this?

Elfen Lied is my new favorite Anime, Short how ever being only 13 episodes long then having a final Episode 14 on DVD release only(witch i havnt seen yet)

I just finished this serious up, Pretty much if ur into a romance, but at the same time want some violence this is the perfect anime for you. Really gorry but it has a really good love story behind it. It is an echi however so u will see some nudity.

now, i have you a notice that you already know, but, well.

the dvd version, looks better, and, has some scenes, that the tv ver. does`t have.............very recomendable.......-_-

in this moment, i`m downloading the dvd ver. ja ja ja, and. i already have the tv ver. but, all this deserves it.

now, i just know one place to download it.......but the problem is, that the subs. are in spanish...........if anyone is interested and know spanish, well, tellme.----XD in other case, i don`t know where else could it be......but i know one thing, if you don`t see this anime, you`ll regreat it--i`m sure-XD

I dont normally go for shows like Gantz, Berserk or Elfen Lied, but what hooked me in Elfen Lied is the cuteness. Berserk had no cuteness, Gantz is just crap, but Elfen Lied has this really cute girl named Lucy (Nyu) with pink hair who happens to be a murdering machine. Its like Saikano all over again ^^.
Well aside from the cuteness I was interested in the story, and after seeing this series, I believe it left a lasting impression on me. It also showed that in fact Im not as sqeamish as I first thought. I wasnt really disturbed by the violence in Elfen Lied despite the gore and blood everywhere. I was a bit more disturbed and saddened by certain events in the show however, and very much into the romance aspect of it. OVerall I rate this series way up with the best in terms of atmosphere and artwork, and slightly below that for story and characters. Its a recommended watch if you think you can handle the gory parts (and bleieve me thats no exxageration). I think what I like most is that Diclonius can be both good and innocent (Nyu) and absolutely unspeakably evil (Lucy). One of my favorite shows for 2005.

Back to elfen lied, the show suffers from a lack of focus and suffers even more from not having a decent ending. Plus there is just WAY to much angst, not a bad show over all though. I would give it a B grade.

I have its so awesome, I love the show, I like the blood and gore, its so awesome, I love the episodes and everything, I have a plushie of Nyuu, lol, I'm in love with the show, its not my fault its just so kawaii to me, I don't care for the nudity, but my second oldest brother, spazzed over it, he kept calling it hentai, if its hentai then it shows everything, not just the breasts and stuff, but yeah, I do watch it and I love it, I think its my favorite anime. <33; ^^;

Oy! Don't say that about Gantz. The anime may have turned crap after it stopped following the manga. But the manga is pure genius... Although right now it's going pretty slow.

Finally Kei is free from Gantz, but both him and Tae can't remember anything related to anything related to Gantz(Including each other)... Masaru is back to life... And the Vamps are getting ready for an attack. OH and now the Gantzers and the aliens can be seen by normal humans.

And the Berserk manga is good as well... And there are cute babies... But too bad they all get burned to death in a pile of about 100 or so... ^_~ Aww... Oh well. Thats the way the Berserk world is.

Elfen Lied was just so so for me. I watched it and just finished it, even though i found that the story wasn't really my cup of tea.

The gory was perhaps too much and i found it a lil disturbing initially. Cliff hanger ending. >.< The plot isn't strong enough though but then i found it entertaining at times.

Anyone who thinks Elfen Lied is nothing but a gory anime and nothing more has not seen past the first episode.

It's a VERY deep and dark anime, which is why it's so good.
It actually has little lessons in there, though they are slightly harder to find than most anime.

And, it keeps you on the edge of your seat, making you NEED to watch the next episode, to see what happens.

It's REALLY good.
Everyone should watch and love it. Except the weak hearted. >_>;

What do you mean Gantz was just crap in my Opinion, Gantz was a good Romance with Action and thrills. Nyu isnt a murdering machine (Lucy) is the part of her mind that wants to infect ppl with some kind of virus that will make more ppl with horns (dicloneus) Slashing at ppl and making them bleed is the way they reporduse.
Like were Bando's balls were full on the virus because Lucy attcked him. The only person Lucy won't hurt is Kouta. I never watched Berserk, I wasnt into it. Lucy wasnt really that evil just misunderstood. Ive seen about all the episodes of Elfen Lied, I was reading the manga a bit too. I found that the manga was I bit more disgriptive then the anime, but both are good.

Incredibly short, but somehow.....captivating. That first episode was one of the bloodiest, goriest animes I had ever seen (and i didnt really understand how it was all happening). Imagine my surprise when limbs started flying through the air like invisible bombs had gone off. Good storyline, clean animation. A bit of a bizarre combination of violence and humour, but a solid anime for any fan of the genre.

I've watched some of the episodes because i was obsessing over it for a while, but I get the plot now. Its really deep and romantic, kinda perverted. Its super GORE!!!! so bloody, like in almost every epsiode. Its really sad though, especially Nana, she's like the worst treated to me.
I like Nana, its like she tries so hard to please everyone. Nyu's the innocent, kick your -ahem- right, kinda person. Yet she's very calm, she won't kill unless she has to.

And lets not forget when young Lucys cloths were drying and she was naked for a good 3 minutes. No lolicom my aching ***.

I love this anime. It's one of my favorite animes ever. The art and graphics were amazing and the storyline was really good. I liked most of the characters in this anime and their is ALOT of gore lol. It's too bad the only have 14 episodes though, I hope they make another series of it cause it's really good and I would recommend it to anyone who likes blood, gore, violence, some nudity, romance, and cute characters.

It's hard to describe this anime to others and be like, "You should seriously watch it, it's simply amazing!" The reasons have been mentioned already a few times: violence, nudity, insanely dark story. These don't make it bad, in fact, they help explain things within the story only better. This is my absolute favourite anime not because of those things though. It's my favourite because each character is believable and real, each story has some part that we can relate to. It's an incredibly touching anime and I sincerely recommend people to watch it, unless you are younger than 16.
