Inuyasha: The Tale Of The Foretold Marrige - The Beginning

"Damd it all where are they, all I have been able to pick up in the air since they left is blood and its starting to get me worried," Keisou said sitting on a stump.
"Oh just calm down Keisou I am sure they are fine, its probably the demons blood you smell...I bet Tach ripped his head off." Keimyou said getting rather excited.
"You are way to interested in that you know," Keisou said glaring over at Keimyou.
The two glared at eachother for a moment before they both hear a stick break in the woods beyond them, it was still dark so they couldnt tell what or who it was. Keisou got up and pulled out his sword ready for anything, other soldiers around him also drew their weapons and looked around. There was another snap of a twig, Keisou looked right at where the noise came from. I stopped walking and looked up at Keisou, who for the first split second had a look of readyness, but now it had one of fright...he was looking at where my arm used to be. Even though I tried to hide it behind Saiyaka some, he noticed right away.
"Keisou, did everything go okay back here," I asked like everything was normal.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka was still looking quite torn from everything that had just happened. Her reckless behavior had costed Tach to loose his arm, Kohaku was hurt and would be traumatized when it came time for Kagome to purify the shard in his back. Also, she was afraid of what Inuyasha might do about the shard being in the boy. The half demon was always set on the Shikon no Tama, and he would eventually need the shard to complete the jewel.

(OOC: Oh *cough* I am sick...very sick...so if it seems I am a little slugish I'm sorry ahead of time. And right on the weekend too, come on whats up with that. Couldnt I have gotten sick on a school day or something)

I walked up to Keisou, who was still focused on the blood soaked shirt. I noticed where he was looking and looked around at the blood that had soaked through my shoulder area.
"Damd, gone and ruined another good shirt," I said laughing.
"Excuse me sir, but dosent that hurt," Keisou finally asked.
"Surprisingly no, it feels fine. Like my arm was never there in the first place, something tells me I was meant to loose this arm," I said thinking more into it," Right then, Keisou fetch a doctor for the boy. His leg has been injured, also tell the men that we are staying here longer. Inuyasha is close by, I picked up his scent not long ago."
"You got it boss," Keisou said as he turned to do what I asked.
I turned back and looked at Saiyaka who still had Kohaku in her arms, I smiled the best I could in an attempt to comfort her.
"I know what your thinking, this wasnt your fault. None of it was, it was just how things were meant to be. Besides I have a feeling something good will come out of what has happened, atleast I think so. It will be worth it to see the look on Sango's face when we show her Kohaku," I said looking at the boy for a moment.

Saiyaka looked at Tach and gave a small nod, but really didn't think the same way that he did. Sure, they got Kohaku back and all, but no matter what Tach said, it was her fault that this had all happened. That's the way Saiyaka always thought. Letting out a small sigh, she looked down at Kohaku, glad that something good came out of going off to Naraku's castle the way she did.

"Come on now don't look so sad, your going to make me depressed," I said my shoulders drouping a little and my head cocking to the side.
As I stod there and tried to comfort Saiyaka, Keisou went around looking for the doctor. But the one thing I was compleatly un aware of was the fact that Sango and Miroku, who was with Inuka and the others had seperated from the group. And when looking for us on their own, and find us they did...I mean come on its kinda hard to miss 1,000 soldiers. Miroku was the first one to stumble across the formation, Sango was not far behind.
"What on earth is this," Miroku said when they came across the soldiers.
"I dunno, but look at all the demon soldiers. Could this be that army Myoga was talking about," Sango asked looking at the soldiers who also noticed them.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka looked at Tach and smiled a little, which was hard to do, but she would keep a smile on her face...just for him. The last thing she wanted was for Tach to get depressed as well. He was acting awfully cheery, but if she was showing that she was not happy, he would become the same way. That was something that Saiyaka didn't want.

Letting out a soft sigh, she sat down on the ground some and rested Kohaku's head on her lap as she layed him down. This boy had bonded with her for the whole month that she had been alive and under Naraku's control. Well, maybe not under his control, but she had done what she was told without question. Kohaku had been the only one she really opened up to.

I smiled a moment more at Saiyaka as she stat on the ground, she must care for that boy quite a bit. I turned my head around when I heard Keisou come running up, he had a shirt in hand.
"Captain, here is a new shirt from you bags," Keisou said handing me the tan undershirt.
"Thanks Keisou," I said as I started to shed my old shirt.
"Also sir, some of the soldiers at the rear of the formation have captured two spies," Keisou said looking a little nervous.
"Spies, who are they," I asked as I trew my blody shirt to the ground.
"Well there is a monk, or so he says, and then a demon slayer girl," Keisou reported.
"A monk and a Demon slayer, bring them to the command tent...you did remember to set it up didnt you," I asked as I slipped my new shirt on.
"Of course boss, its at the center of the formation," Keisou said pointing at the large tent a little ways away.
"Good, bring them there and wait for me. But keep them under close guard untill then, they may be just humans but they are strong. Do no under estimate them," I said turning back to Saiyaka.
"Of course sir," Keisou said running off again.

[Chibi-chan]

"So...Sango and Miroku are here?" Saiyaka asked, smiling a little to herself as she looked down at Kohaku. "Shall we go and greet them, then?" she asked, looking up at Tach for a moment. "Or do you want me to stay here?"

"Well, the thing is I dont want Sango to see her little brother just yet. He has a wound to the leg that should be treated first, I will go and meet with them and keep them in the command tent while you take Kohaku to get patched up. The formation doctor should not be too far off, Keisou should have allready gotten him for me," I said kneeling down infront of Saiyaka," I wont tell Sango we have him right off, I will wait for you to get done with the doctor. If I told her right away she would run off over turning every last tent and soldiers untill she found him."

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka laughed, knowing that this was most definately true. "Right...I have to get him treated properly. I wasn't able to get the wound all that cleaned, because I was more concerned about the blood loss, so wrapped his leg before anything," she stated. Once again, she gently scooped up Kohaku in her arms and looked at his leg. Blood was beginning to seep through the cloth and she knew that she had to get him to the doctor quickly. "Where is this doctor?" she asked.

"I'll get him," I said getting to my feet and turning around.
I walked for a moment and then came across a large tent just to the outside of the formation. I could tell it was the doctors tent becuase I could see a group of sick soldiers, probably from bad food sitting outside the tent. I waived at Saiyaka and to come over and then walked into the tent, the Doctor was standing over a soldier trying to figure out what was wrong with him.
"Hey doc, we got a kid who needs his leg patched up," I said to him.
The doctor turned around, he was kinda old. But he nodded his head and smiled a little.
"Bring the boy in, I will take care of him first then," the old doctor said kindly.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka gave a small nod and brought Kohaku over to the doctor. "...If you make him wince, I make you feel pain," she said, then blinked a little. She didn't know why she had let that slip out of her mouth, but she hadn't really planned on saying such a thing.

"Down girl, I am sure the good doctor here knows what he is doing," I said patting Saiyaka on the head playfully," I am going to go to the command tent now, Sango and Miroku will probably be glad to know I am the guy in charge around here."
I leaned over and gave Saiyaka and kiss before I left the tent, I made my way slowly through the soldiers. I got quite a few stares as I went, I am sure they were wondering where my other arm had gone. When I reached the command tent, there were two guards posted outside.
"You can go now, I can take care of these two," I said waiving them off.
The two guards nodded and left as I walked into the tent, Sango and Miroku were sitting inside the tent. Quite anoyed by the fact they were taken captive, they had their weapons taken away and put somewhere. But when they saw me, I think they more or less felt like an entire moutain was taking of the shoulders.
"Hey guys, whats up," I asked giving them a waive.
"Tach, it..its you," Miroku said rather surprised.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka smiled and kissed Tach back. "They'll be quite surprised, I'm sure," she laughed.

Sango stared at Tach, blinking a little bit. "...Don't tell me that you're in command of this army!"

"Hey whats that suppose to mean," I asked a little anoyed by Sango's comment.
"Well its really quite surprising that someone like youself is in command of so many people," Miroku said quite interested by all this.
"And its quite surprising people call you a monk but do I complain about that do I," I said sitting down and resting my arm on the table infront of me.
When I looked back at Sango and Miroku, they both had a look of complete terror on their face for some reason. I rolled my eyes and looked at where my arm used to be.
"Yes I lost my arm, yes it sucks, and no it dosent hurt...much," I said before they had a chance to ask.
"How did it happen," Sango asked.
"It happened about half an hour ago now, I got caught off guard by an old Dark Priestess. She sent some kinda of attack at me, I tried to block it but it didnt work to well as you can probably see," I said still anoyed by the fact the old hag had beaten me.

[Chibi-chan]

"Well...Umm...Where is Saiyaka? Is she alright?" Sango asked, frowning a little as she noticed that the half demon wasn't with Tach. They always seemed inseperable, so with Saiyaka not around right now, she got a little scared. "She didn't get hurt by that priestess did she?"

[m1abrams]

"No Saiyaka is fine, she is just taking care of something for me real quick. She should be around soon enough," I said with a large smile on my face.
"Whats with that smile on your face, are you hidding something up your sleave," Miroku asked me.
"Wich one," I asked being a smartass.
"The one with the arm still comming out of it," he said his eyes narrowing.
"Trust me, you will both find out in a moment," I said rubbing the back of my head and laughing.

[Chibi-chan]

Kohaku let out a groan as he slowly regained consiousness. His eyes slowly opened his eyes and he stared up at the top of the tent, blinking a little to get his eyes adjusted to the light. Hesitating a moment, he sat up, holding his head for a minute. It was then that he spotted Saiyaka and he blinked at her a little bit. "...Sai?" he asked, unsure.

Saiyaka saw him finally awake and let out a relieved sigh. She thought that the boy was never going to wake up. Smiling at Kohaku, she gave him a small hug, nodding. "Yes, it's me, Kohaku!" she confirmed. "How's your leg?"

Kohaku blinked a little and slightly turned a pink shade as Saiyaka hugged him. He looked down at his leg and slightly moved it, but winced. "...It hurts," he murmured, then yelped when Saiyaka suddenly picked him up.

"Well, now that you're awake, I'm going to get you to Sango!" Saiyaka stated, smiling. "You remember Sango, don't you?" she asked. When Kohaku gave a small nod, she nodded back and headed off towards the tent Tach, Sango, and Miroku were in. She knew that Kohaku didn't now Sango as his sister, but he knew that she was familiar. "Sango! Surprise for you outside!" she called from outside the tent.

I turned my head when I hear Saiyaka call from outside the tent, Sango who she called for was a tad confused.
"For me, what on earth does she mean," Sango said getting to her feet.
We all got up and fallowed Sango to the tent flap, when she opened it and stepped outside. She just about fell backwards into Miroku, her eyes emediatly found Kohaku in Saiyaka's arms. Miroku who was also surprised stood just infront of me, I smiled as I watched Sango's reaction.
"Kohaku...is it really you," Sango asked taking another step forward.
"Yeah its really him, it took us awhile but we got him. Little squirt is one tough kid, considering all he has gone through that is," I said staying just behind Miroku.

[Chibi-chan]

"His leg is injured, but he's still in one piece," Saiyaka declared, smiling at Sango. "I told you that I would get him back, no matter what the cost, now didn't I?" she asked, grinning.

Kohaku looked a little lost right at the moment, looking at Sango, then Miroku. He knew the two of them. He then looked at Tach, a little confused. "...Who's that, Sai? A friend of yours?"

"Indeed," Saiyaka stated, smiling a little. "Now, all we have to do is wait for Kagome and the others," she said, looking at Sango. "If we can get Kagome to purify the shard that Kohaku has, he might regain his memory...maybe..."

"We can only hope we are so lucky," Miroku said nodding.
"Luck has nothing to do with it, we will get his memory back. I can gurantee it," I said moving towards Saiyaka.
"And how is that," Miroku asked me.
"Kagome is able to purify the shards right, when she purifies the shard that is still in Kohaku's back. It will tear Kohaku away from Naraku's control compleatly, it wont be a pleasant experiance for him. All those memories coming back all at once, but its the only way," I said standing next to Saiyaka.

[Chibi-chan]

Kohaku looked a little frightened by this news and bit his lip slightly. There was something that he knew that he didn't want to remember, and if those memories came back, what would he do? "...I'm scared to remember," he whispered.

Saiyaka frowned a little and closed her eyes. "It's alright, Kohaku," she told him in a soft voice. "Everything will be fine, and I promise that I'll help you through it. So will Sango!"

"You really have no reason to be scared of your own memories their squirt," I said ruffling up his hair.
"What do you mean," Kohaku asked me looked up.
"What I mean is you memories can only scare you if you let them, if you stay strong and face them head on then you will over come them. No matter how hard they may be to think about," I said walking back towards the tent.
This whole time Sango had been pretty quite, I think she was more or less in shock by the fact we had gotten Kohaku back. That was untill now, tears starting welling up into her eyes as a small releived smile came across her face.

(OOC: Well I figured since you had brought the group closer to where we were, and since I hadnt heard anyone use them in awhile I thought I would have them appear at the base camp of the soldiers Tach is leading. If you had something planned for them you can feel free to give me a cyber slap...hehe.)

Saiyaka smiled a little at Tach's words, shaking her head some. Not everbody wants to remember everything. She sure the hell didn't want to remember every bad detail in her life, but she couldn't change it. "...Do you want to talk with Sango, Kohaku? Try and exercise your leg while you're at it?"

Kohaku blinked a little bit, then looked at Sango for a moment. "Is that alright?" he asked, unsure. If he had to learn the truth about his past, then talking with Sango, who his sister, or so he had been told, then he would face the truth that his memory had to offer.

I walked inside the tent to let Kohaku and Sango talk, its probably been awhile since they have seen eachother. I still didnt know the whole story but I was glade we got him, I sat down on a box that was in the far corner of the tent. And let my head droop slightly and then sighed some, again I had gone and fooled everyone. I reached over and grabbed ahole of where my arm used to be, the pain had caught up to me. It felt like the entire left side of my body was hit by a horse, I leaned my head against one of the posts that held up the tent and opened my eyes to look around.
"Well this sucks, why did I go and let my guard down like that," I said quietly to myself.
"Tach, you have a second," Miroku said barging in.
I spring back up and let go of my shoulder, I put something of a happy face on and tried to look like everything was normal.
"Yeah sure, what do you need," I asked with a slight winch.
"Well, I had a chance to scope around when your soldiers took us here. How many demons are there here exactly," Miroku asked taking a seat.
"This batallion is made up of 1,000 soldiers, there are 5 more batallions of the same size back in my home village," I said leaning forward.
"7,000 soldiers! But how on earth did you assemble such a large army in such a short time," Miroku shouted.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka, who had followed after Miroku after leading Sango and Kohaku into another tent that she made people retreat from, looked at Miroku and smirked at his reaction. "Yeah, it's a little hard to believe, isn't it?" she aked with a laugh. "Tach's father even wants Inuyasha to lead the army, if you can believe that at all!" she grinned.

(OOC: Oops, I meant to say 6,000 soldiers. Can you tell I got all A's in Math class)

"Wait your father, you never told us that your father was still allive," Miroku said looking to me for an answer.
"I dont think I ever said he even existed, but yeah my father. He is in charge of the other half of the soldiers, this is just one of the 3 battalions I am in charge of," I said looking out a small window in the side of the tent.
"And Saiyaka said that your father, wants Inuyasha to command the other half," Miroku asked still a little confused.
"No, he want's Inuyasha to command the entire thing. In other words he would be of higher rank than both me and my father...you see from what I have gathered I am a Master Captain, as is my father. Inuyasha would be a General, just like his father. A scary thing to think about isnt it," I said somewhat sarcastically.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka laughed a little bit and went over to Tach, laying her head against his good shoulder. The one that still had an arm attached to it. "It terrifies me just by thinking about it," she said rather truthfully.

Miroku blinked some and shook his head. "Well, it will sure boost up Inuyasha's ego, that's most definately for sure!"

"Yeah well he is going to have to be somewhat mature about it, he can't go off and rushing into things when thousands of lives hang in the balence. That I am going to personally hammer into his head when he comes along...if he ever does," I said rolling my eyes," Where on earth is he anyways.
"I am unsure, after me and Sango left...kinda without telling anyone. We lost track of them, they should be close by though," Miroku said thinking about it.
"Well hopefully he can pull his head out of his posterior soon so we can get going, I dont want to keep the soldiers this close to Naraku's castle. We allready pissed him off pretty good before, he is probably planning something as we speak," I said putting my arm around Saiyaka.

[Chibi-chan]

"Fun, fun," Saiyaka muttered under her breath as she sighed. "However, I really don't want to fight Naraku tonight, considering everything that's happened," she stated, glancing at Tach's shoulder. "That being one of the main things!"

"I told you not to worry about it, I'm fine really I am," I said again trying to reasure Saiyaka...even though I was lieing through my teeth.
"Are you sure about that, when I walked in before you looked a little pale," Miroku said inspecting me closer.
"I said...I'm fine," I said as I knocked Miroku in the head.
I growled for a second more and then looked back out the window, I could see the cresent moon in the distance behind some tree's. I wasnt in any danger of dieing or anything, but the pain was getting a little to much for me to hide much longer. It kept pulsing through the right side of my body. I looked back at Saiyaka and smiled again.
"I am going to go take a quick walk, I think I need to be by myself for a moment," I said in desperate need to go verbalize the pain.

[Chibi-chan]

She let out a bit of an exagerated sigh and shook her head a little, backing away from him so that he could go and leave, do whatever. "Yeah, sure..." she said, flopping down on a pallet that was laying on the ground in the tent. "I'm tired anyway..."

without taking my hand off Reaver's hilt i started to leave....keeping my ears perked to prevent ambush.....

"Dont sound so angry with me, I will be back. Just need some fresh air thats all," I said as I walked towards the flap.
I gave a quick waive to Miroku and then walked out of the tent, when I was sure no one was watching I ran as fast as I could from the camp sight. I needed to get far enough away so no one could hear anything. I ran past numerous large trees and boulders untill I felt I was far enough away, I stopped and litterally fell to the the ground holding onto my shoulder. I rolled around for a second and just cried out scilently.
"Son of a....this hurts," I said as I tried to prop myself up against a tree.
I sucessfully proped myself up against the tree and sat there for a moment holding onto my arm, the pain still there pulsing.
"This is all my fault for letting my guard down, getting all cocky and not dodging that attack. I just had to act all big a tough and try and block it....DAMD IT!!!," I yelled as loudly as I could.

[Chibi-chan]

"...What is he saying I stink?" Saiyaka asked, grinning a little to herself as she rested her head down and closed her eyes. "If Naraku attacks us tonight...I'm not going to be a very happy person..."

"Oh man, I better get back to the camp sight...Saiyaka is probably going to get worried about me before long," I said as I still leaned against the tree.
I tried to pick myself up, but I droped to the ground again. It was kinda hard with just one arm, I cursed myself for falling and then tried again. But before I could, I noticed a hand reach down infront of me. I looked up and saw Sango standing there, Kohaku right behind her.
"Sango, what are you doing out here," I asked a little surprised.
"I heard something out here so I figured I would go and investigate," Sango said smiling.
I reached up and grabbed Sango's hand and she helped me to my feet, when I was standing strait I automatically went over and held my shoulder.
"Your shoulder, does it hurt alot," Sango asked me.
"Yeah, but don't tell Saiyaka okay, she has to worry about me enough as it is," I said with a small laugh.
"Right...Tach I, came here to thank you. For getting Kohaku back that is, if it wasnt for you and Saiyaka. I probably would have never seen Kohaku again," Sango said a little more emotionally.

Kohaku blinked a little bit, looking at Tach. "Sai told me that you got that injury when you were at Naraku's castle..." he said, almost in an accusing sort of way. "You...really didn't have to go there," he whispered.

(OOC: They look great, I like your signiture picture. The Avatar is pretty nice too, you seem to like an change them around alot. Its always cool to see what you have next in line)

"Of course I had too, how else would we have ever found and rescued you. Kohaku dont con't youself short, your quite the important person," I said ruffling his hair again.
"I am," Kohaku said shyly.
"Yeah very important, why do you think we have been looking for you this whole time. You sister especially, from what I have heard. Before I joined up with your sister and the others they tried quite a few times to get you back, I am sure you remember a few of those times don't you," I said smiling at the boy.
"Well yeah I guess so," Kohaku said not looking at me directly.
"Your a funny kid, you know that," I said laughing.
"Hey whats that suppose to mean," Kohaku shouted back.
"And he has got an atitude, I'm starting to like this little squirt," I said laughing even harder.
Sango laughed quitly trying to hide it behind her hand, Kohaku was getting a little flustered. But it was all in good fun.

"...You and Sai," Kohaku said after a moment, trying to keep himself from loosing his temper too much at this. "Umm...How close are you two?"

I blinked a few times as I looked down at Kohaku...why on earth did he want to know that.
"Uhh, you could say we are pretty close...very close actually. Any particular reason you would want to know this their squirt," I asked just as interested about his question.

[Chibi-chan]

Kohaku looked away to the side a little. He was trying to hide the fact that he didn't look all that happy about the answer, and that he was actually blushing for some reason. "...There's no reason that I asked, really," he stated. "I...was just curious!"

"Just curious huh, yeah sure I believe you," I said with an evil little smirk on my face," I bet...you like Saiyaka dont you."
I was pearing over Kohaku's shoulder and raising a brow, he didnt look exactly and if I was not mistaken he was blushing. I felt the need to prode at this issue a little more.
"I have no idea what your talking about," Kohaku said trying to turn his face away from me even more.
"Really now, okay then if you dont like Saiyaka...you wont mind the fact we are getting married," I said facing away from Kohaku.
Okay now I was just trying to irritate the kid, But Sango seemed to find the conversation to be rather funny, its not like I was trying to make him angry. I was just having some fun.

Anger was very quickly replaced by a different emotion when Kohaku heard this. Pain crossed over his face, and his eyes. "...Oh," he said, trying to keep his voice as normal as possible, though he really wasn't doing a good job at it. "...When did this come up?" he asked, his hand moving towards his leg. If questioning came about as to why he looked so crushed, he'd always be able to lie and say that his leg was hurting him.

"For a little while now, I proposed a long time ago actually. It just took her a little while to answer, with all that was going on and all," I said a tad bit more seriously," Listen Kohaku if there is something bothering you about this you can let me know, I am a big boy I can handle it."
Kohaku didnt seem to answer much, he was a really shy boy and this seemed to be making him slightly upset. I felt kinda bad now, I walked over to him and put my hand on his shoulder. I think the thought of him having to remember, and everything else ontop of that was a little much for the boy.
"Hey Sango, I am going to take the squirt for a quick walk okay. I will make sure to bring him back safe and soung," I said looking up at Sango.
"Sure, just keep an eye on him. Dont want to go and loose him again," Sango said with a smile.

Kohaku tensed up when Tach put a hand on his shoulder, and even looked like he wanted to smack it off, but he didn't. The last thing that he wanted to do was go for a walk with the guy who 'stole Saiyaka away' in his opinion.

I more or less started to drag Kohaku off, I could tell he was rather anoyed. Or atleast I thought he was, as I continued to drag him off deeper into the woods. He finally got tired of me dragging him and he stopped in place. I looked behind me at him, a smug look on his face.
"All right then, I think we got off on the wrong foot," I said sitting down on a stump.
Kohaku didnt say or do much, he just stood there being careful not to make eye contact with me.
"Mad at me huh, for being so close to Saiyaka...dont try and denie it, I can see it in your eyes," I said calmy as I leaned back a little," I should have realized earlier, Saiyaka was the only one who ever cared for you while you were with Naraku. She treated you as a person...most of all a friend, so in that way I can see why you are so attatched to her. But you should know that becuase me and Saiyaka love eachother, dosent mean she still wont always have a place in her heart for you. I know it can't sound to reasuring coming from me and not her, but Saiyaka is the kind of person who has enough room in her heart for both you and me. I don't know if this is what you wanted to hear right now, and I know things are only going to get harder for you in the next couple of days but...try and find within yourself to get along with me."

Kohaku looked at Tach, not saying a word for a long while. He then plopped down onto the ground, his leg hurting a little bit. "...For her..." he murmured, looking down at the ground as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. "I'll only act like I'm fine with you...For Sai's sake!"

I had been watching Inuka and the others fight from afar. I did not wish to get involved in this battle that had nothing to do with me. A bit before Sesshoumaru arived I had started to head in Inuka's direction. When he did arrive I stopped in my tracks for a second. 'Shoot what if Inuka says something to him' I thought,'She is always doing that sort of thing so I guess it would not be to much of a surprise to me if she did.' I sighed and continued on. Lowering my head a bit as I got closer.

"You'll just act that you get along with me huh, well we will see about that," I said patting him the back with a big smile on my face," Maybe when we get back to my village, things will change. Untill then you just keep on pretending, I can deal with it untill then."
I got up from the stump I was sitting on and started to walk off, I stopped for a second and looked back at Kohaku.
"You comin squirt or are you just gonna sit here all night," I said still smiling at him.

Kohaku let out a sigh, not knowing why he was being so stubborn. He knew that it was foolish to act that way towards Tach, but still, he was jealous for one of the first times in his life. Over a half demon girl none the less. Muttering something under his breath, he managed to pick himself up.

"Thats a boy, now come along with me and we will go find your sister," I said as Kohaku slowly made his way.
As we walked along I peared down at the boy, he was still upset. Even though he didnt seem to like me, I felt like I should treat him like a little brother. To try and make him feel a little more at home with all of us, this might help him with his memories too. I reached down and ruffled his hair again, as a sign that I was trying to make peace.
"Come on squirt, dont look so gloomy. Even if you dont like me, try and smile for once...you never know it might help," I said with a reasuring smirk.

[Chibi-chan]

"Stop treating me like a kid or a dog!" Kohaku scowled, not really liking the whole 'squirt' nickname that Tach had given him. "I'm not a child, alright?!" he added, jumping back from the half demon's hand and placing his hands on his head. He also seemed to hate the whole ruffling of his hair, too.

I just kept on smiling and kept walking, we were far from Sango who waited for us.
"Hey Sango," I said waiving.
"Your back, what did you talk about," Sango asked me.
"Oh nothing much, we just came to an understanding thats all. Isnt that right squirt," I called back to Kohaku knowing he didnt like the name.
"Stop calling me that," he yelled back quite anoyed.
I just laughed, even though he didnt like me I was going to treat the kid as best I could...well the squirt nick name would be an exception. I looked at Sango who had a bit of a scolding look on her face.
"What, I'm just playing," I said rubbing the back of my head.
"Your just like a child, now lets get back to the camp," Sango said grabbing Kohaku's hand and leading him off.
"Hey come on now, its just harmless fun," I said fallowing after them still laughing a little.

Saiyaka caught Tach's scent comming back towards the tent she was in, and her ears twitched a little bit as she got up and went outside the tent to wait for him and greet him when she got back. She also caught Sango and Kohaku's scents, smiling a little.

Inuka watched Naku come closer and Azus leave. Her ears went flat. She should learn to trust people. She caught Naku's eyes and saw hesitation. 'She thinks I'll tell him about her' she thought to herself. No she wouldn't do that to her. She owed her that much.

Seshomaru turned his head slightly. "There is an army of demons coming, you should be on your guard." he told them. Inuka understood this as 'I'm not going to let you make a fool of yourself as a halfdemon'. Herspirtis sunk ever lower.

Sango and Kohaku were the first to walk into the light of the waiting camp, I wasnt far behind. I saw Saiyaka waiting outside the tent, I smiled and waived up to her. But as I was waiving, I picked up a very familiar scent...a few scents actually. I put my arm down and turned my head in the direction I smelled them, I took another few sniffs to see if I was right.
"Inuyasha you dog, I knew you had to be around here somewhere," I said with a smile.
My smile soon went away when I got another scent, oh I knew this one all to well. I kinda growled for a second, but slapped myself when I remembered I had allready gotten my revenge...sorta.
"Saiyaka, I just picked up Inuyasha and the others scent. They are not to far from here, lets go and find them," I yelled over to Saiyaka all good and ready to go find them.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka let out a sigh and closed her eyes for a moment, smirking. "Do we really have to get Inuyasha? How about we just get Kagome, Shippo, and Kokoru?" she asked, smirking more to show that she was just kidding around. Smiling at Kohaku, she put a hand on his head, "Is your leg feeling any better?"

While waiting for Saiyaka, I kept sniffing the air to make sure I just wasnt smelling things. Of course I wasnt, it was Sesshomaru allright. I couldnt mistake his stench...its to pungent.
"Sesshomaru, I just hope your not there when I arrive. I have had enough confrontations for one night," I said tapping my foot nervously," I wonder what you are doing with Inuyasha...I wonder why Inuyasha hasnt tried to tear your head off yet. I highly doubt the powers of brotherly love have somehow found its way into both of them."

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka let out a sigh and wrapped her arms around Tach's waist. "Umm...If we do run into Sesshomaru...Please restrain yourself...please?"

"I'll make sure to not hurt him too bad," I said lifting my one remaining arm into the air.
"Just make sure not to loose any more limbs okay," Miroku said appearing from the tent.
A large sweat drop rolled down my head, that was an ego hit.
"It was an accident okay, I wont let it happen again so lay off," I yelled back my arm flailing in the air.
I turned away from Miroku and let out a long irritated sigh, now it was time to go find Inuyasha. And bring him back to father so he can take command of the army.
"Oh what a fiasco this is going to be," I said shaking my head as I realized how stupid it all was," Lets get going."

Saiyaka blinked at Miroku a little. She was going to comment about him not loosing any more limbs, but the monk had beat her to it. Seeing Tach's reaction, she was glad that the monk had said it instead of her. Shaking her head a little bit, she tagged along behind Tach.

"Sango, what did you talk to Tach about just a moment ago," Miroku asked just after we left.
"I went to thank him, but he kinda strayed off topic and started to talk more about Kohaku," Sango said looking at her brother.
"Did you ask him about his arm," Miroku asked walking up to her.
"Yes I did, he said it was very painful. Just like you said it would be," Sango said sitting down.
"I see, thant his whole time he has been lying. I wonder what else he has hidden from us then, he seems to be quite good at it now," Miroku said looking off into the direction we had left.

As Saiyaka trailed behind of Tach, she looked at where his arm used to be. Even though it was covered up with a new shirt and all, she could tell that it looked slightly swollen. "Tach...Let me take a look at it," she stated, knowing that he would know what she ment.

"Allright if you really want to, its not going to looks exactly pretty," I said stopping.
I reached over to my shirt and un did half of it so my shoulder was exposed, the blast had hit me leaving only about 2 inches of my arm from the shoulder left. And there was a large burnt area that kept me from bleeding out compleatly, there was still some minor bleeding but not alot to worry about.
"I probably shout of had the doctor put a bandage on it, but I had other things to worry about at the moment," I said looking at where my arm just stopped.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka gave a slight wince as she saw the condition of Tach's wound. Shaking her head, she grabbed his existing arm and began to drag him towards the tent that housed the doctor. "We're not going after Inuyasha till you get that treated!" she stated, ignoring any complaints that Tach might have with this.

"No really it will be fine, you dont have to," I said as she dragged me off.
Sango and Miroku who were sitting just outside the command tent with Kohaku, noticed Saiyaka as she was dragging me back towards the doctors tent. I had one of the most terrified looks on my face for some reason or another.
"Well that was half expected," Miroku said shaking his head.

[Chibi-chan]

"Fine is when you're healed and in good health!" Saiyaka stateded, forcing him into the doctor's tent and demanding that he be fixed up as good as new. "No complaining!" she told Tach, giving him a death glare.

"This better not hurt," I grumbled as I sat there in the corner of the doctors tent.
"Oh you have nothing to worry about Master Captain Mazaki, I have a great reputation for keeping pain to a minimum," the doctor said as he turned around with a bunch of bandages in hand.
"Well lets hope your repuation proceeds you," I said continuing to grumble about it.
"Oh it does, you dont have to worry about that," the doctor said laughing.
When the doctor started to apply the bandages, I started to whine and complain more than ever. Sango and Miroku walked up the doc's tent to find out what all the noise was. It was a furry of medicine and bandages as I fought the doctor with all my strength, Miroku poked his head in the flap for a second...but got a metal pan right in the face.
"I said dont do that," I yelled out as he rapped my arm.
"Hold still and it wont hurt so much," the doctor said as he fought me.
"Why dont you hold still so I can stuff those bandages right up your....YOUCH!!."
"See I told you to hold still," The doc said shaking his head.

Saiyaka was practically glowing red with embarassment at the way Tach was carrying on. Shaking her head, she put him in a headlock. "If you don't stop this right now, I'm going to have to knock you out so you can be treated! What would the army thing of their 'Master Captain' if they saw you now?!"

"I really dont care this thing hurts," I said still fighting.
Even though I was still fighting it, the doctor was done allready. He was standing back and watching me squirm around, Sango and Miroku were also watching and laughing quite hard becuase of it. When I finally realized that I was being a complete idiot, I stopped strugling and look around at everyone. They were all kinda staring at me, I growled for a second and let it boil.
"Allright you can all stop looking at me like that," I siad as an ear twitched.

[Chibi-chan]

"...This is the man you chose as your husband to be, Sai?" Kohaku asked, looking towards Saiyaka and raising a brow. "Why would you want such a wuss like that to be the one to take care of you?"

Saiyaka sighed some and put an arm around Kohaku, shaking her head in dismay. "Oh, I have no clue why," she said in a teasing tone so that she wouldn't upset Tach by saying this. "I think it's going to be me who ends up taking care of HIM!" she laughed.

"You wanna see a wuss there squirt I'll show you a wuss," I shouted over to Kohaku as a jumped to my feet.
"I told you not to call me that," Kohaku shouted back.
"Both of you are such children," Miroku said shaking his head.
"He is a child," I yelled over to Miroku pointing madly at Kohaku.
I glared back over at Kohaku, the kid was smart I'd give him that. He knew how to press my buttons, but I knew how to press his. I reached over and fixed my shirt, making sure that the stub of an arm I had left was well hidden under the dangling sleve. It would be a constand reminder of my stupidity.
"Allright now that this is done can we please go find Inuyasha and Kagome so we can get the squirt back to normal, god knows we can't trust him much untill then," I said out of anger.

[Chibi-chan]

Everybody was silent at this statement. Saiyaka broke the silence by slapping Tach as hard as she could, which was pretty hard. "How dare you say something like that!" she hissed in a rather poisonous sounding voice as she shoved him a little. "That was totally uncalled for!" she yelled.

Kohaku had a pained look on his face, backing away from all of them and looking at the ground. It didn't take a genious to realize that this statement had been a stab in the heart. Sure, Naraku had controlled him plenty of times, but he had never ment to do all of the horrible stuff that he had done, even if he didn't know what kind of bad things he had done.

Saiyaka looked at Kohaku and embraced him, holding him close to her. "...He didn't mean it," she whispered to him, shaking her head. "He didn't mean it at all, and if he did, then I'm going to make him wish he lost more than just an arm!" she hissed, glaring back at Tach.

Sango gave a small nod, placing a hand on Kohaku's head. She gave Tach one of the dirtiest looks that she had given anybody other than Miroku. "It wasn't something to be said out loud like that..."

Inuka looked over at Azus and bowed feeling bad as he walked away. Sesi looked over at Naku and gave her a nod of greeting. 'Well, at least they're getting along...' she thought. Just then Inu showed up and glared at Sesi. Sesi glared back.

I rubbed my face where Saiyaka had slapped me and then walked out of the tent, I didnt care what they said it was true. Maybe I shouldnt have said it outloud, but untill Kagome purified that shard I was going to have the guards watch the kid like a hawk. I fixed my shirt some more than started off determined to find Inuyasha, I didnt mind if Saiyaka stayed behind. She was probably mad at me anyways.
"This whole thing, is rediculous," I said as I jumped into the air.
I bounded through the rest of the camp and when I reached the edge I started to run, my right sleve flapping behind me, I was kinda angry at myself at the moment. But at the same time I seemed to be kinda angry at everyone else for some dumb reason.
"Damd that Saiyaka, slapping me like that...she didnt have to hit me that hard," I complained angrily," And what was the look I was getting from Sango, I mean come on people I am stating only the truth. Even though I was kinda stupid for saying it right infront of the kid he is going to have to deal with that kind of stuff anyways, he wont be a kid forever."

Siayaka didn't go after Tach. Why should she, anyway? Why did he have to go and say something like that, of all things. It was wrong, completely wrong of him to say such a thing right in front of Kohaku. Kohaku and Tach seemed to be in some sort of verbal war with each other for some reason or another, and she had no clue what it was. "This is ****," she scowled.

I slowed from a run to walk, and then I stopped. I had been running for awhile now, its not that I was tired its that I was starting to feel guilt for what I said to Kohaku. I finally just let myself fall to the ground, and I just sat there thinking about the day so far. It has started out normal enough...well if you take the whole army thing out of the equasion, but now everything was going wrong. Saiyaka was mad at me, Sango was mad at me...and Kohaku just plain didnt like me.
"Were did I go wrong, everything is getting all out of wack. Its not like I wanted this to all happen so why is it, I bet Buddha himself can't even give me an answer to that. Why can't we all just live a normal life, live somwhere peaceful where there is no Naraku and no demons," I said with my head lowered to the ground," No demons...thats practically denouncing my whole race, oh man what am I going to do about this. Naraku isnt going to just pack up and leave, the only way to get rid of him is to destroy him and I doubt anyone has figured out a way to do that. Unless...yes thats it, we will turn his own trick right around on him."
I got to my feet a bit re energized, the only way to get my plan rolling was to go and get Inuyasha and Kagome. This was the only way this plan would work.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka shook her head some, trying to clear it, and ended up breaking down. She began to cry, wondering why the hell she had slapped Tach. Sure, what he said was horrible, but he didn't deserve to be smacked around because of it. She could have just yelled at him and had left it at that. Now she just felt like a low life and running after Tach wouldn't do any good. At least not for her, she figured. They would probably get into an even bigger fight that way.

Kohaku looked at Saiyaka when she began to cry and closed his eyes for a minute. "Sai," he whispered, hugging her from behind. "It's my fault that he said it..." he told her. "I'm sorry..."

"No, it's not any of your fault at all, Kohaku. Why do you say that?" Saiyaka asked, turning back slightly towards the boy to get a good look at him. He had a rather guilty look on his face, and this puzzled her a little. "Kohaku...You may have hurt people because of Naraku's control, that's true enough, but he still shouldn't have said that...And you just calling him a wuss wouldn't make him say something like that, surely!"

Kohaku sighed a little and just gave a nod. It wasn't as if he could just tell her the reason why he and Tach seemed to be at eachother's throats. How could he explain to her that he was jealous of the whole marriage deal? Sai might even distance herself from him!

As I darted thorugh the woods, getting closer and closer to Inuyasha I kept going through the plan in my head. It was dangerous and Sango would probably kill me for even sugjesting it but it was the only plan I had heard for getting rid of Naraku...ever. As I ran my mind started to wander and I wasnt paying any attention to where I was going, I burst through a thing of shrubs and un knowingly right into the spot that Inuyasha and the others were. When I realized I was headed right for someone I quickly stopped running, though I kept slidding right at him...it was Sesshomaru. He easily just jumped into the air as I slid under him, when he landed again I finally stopped myself and spun around.
"Sorry about that, wasnt paying much attention to where I was going," I said rubbing the back of my head with a large sweatdrop running down my forhead.
"Its you," Sesshomaru said quitly a tad surprised by my sudden arrival.
"Last time I checked it was me...well me minus a limb," I said being a smart ***.

Saiyaka sighed some and slowly got up, looking at Kohaku. "...What's going on between you and Tach?" she asked softly. "You can tell me, I won't be mad at you...You know that..."

"It's too embarassing to say," Kohaku muttered, looking up at her sheepishly.

"Tach where the hell have you been, we have been searching all over for you," Inuyasha yelled appearing infront of me.
"Hey come on now its not like I meant to," I said backing away a little.
"And whats that suppose to mean," Inuyasha asked still kinda angry.
"It means it wasnt my fault, trust me you will understand everything once we get back to my camp," I said waving my hand infront of Inuyasha to stop him.
"And what makes me think we want to go there," Inuyasha said still a little upset.
"Becuase thats where we have Kohaku," I said grinning.
"Kohaku, what do you mean you have Kohaku there," Kagome asked a little surprised.
"I mean exactly what I said, we got him back...it was kinda a surprise really. It seemed way to easy but after a little confrontation we got him," I said looking towards Kagome.
"A little confrontation, it looks like it was more than a little confrontation," Inuyasha said noticing the lack of my right arm.
"Yeah well, things did get a little out of hand for a moment. But we got Kohaku back so isnt that all that matters," I said a little embraressed by my missing arm.

[Chibi-chan]

After a minute, Kohaku looked up at Saiyaka, tears in his eyes. "Why did you leave me all alone? When you went on that mission for Naraku, to kill those new arrivals to Inuyasha's group," he stated. "Why didn't you come back after that? I thought that you had died when you didn't come back after all those days. Then you went and got yourself engaged to that half demon, Tach!"

Saiyaka was taken aback by this sudden outburst from Kohaku and she frowned a little, not understanding why he was angery at her for loving Tach. "Is something bothering you about Tach?" she asked him softly, placing her hands on his shoulders. "Kohaku what's wrong wi-" she began but was cut off as soon as she felt Kohaku's lips against hers.

It was lucky for Kohaku that Sango had left the tent to talk with Miroku, because he had just lost himself for a moment. Quickly, embarrassed, he pulled away from Saiyaka, touching his lips as if they weren't his own. "...I love you..." he murmured.

[Red Dragon]

Tach had burst in and Inuka stood dumb struck for a moment. "Tach! Where have you been?" she burst out coming up to him. Her eyes caught his attempt to hide his missing limb. Her eyes nearly poped out of her head. "You-your, arm. What happend?" she asked coming closer. She thought she might know some old magic that could help him.

"Well its a long story really, that dark priestess from that village we went to a long time came back and kinda caught me off guard. I ended up loosing my arm in the end, it was a foolish thing for me to do in the first place. Trying to block an attack I was obviously not strong enough to handle," I said looking at the ground.
"Does it hurt," Kagome asked walking up to me.
"Yeah, quite a bit...but if I think about something else, it dosent hurt as much anymore," I said smiling up at Kagome.
"Your a real idiot you know that Tach, getting caught off guard and loosing an arm like that. I wouldnt be caught dead like that," Inuyasha snorted.
"Inuyasha sit boy," Kagome said as she glared at Inuyasha.
Inuyasha did a beautiful face plant into the ground, if I had a scoring card I would have given that a 10. I laughed for a moment and then slowly sat myself down on a stone, I had compleatly forgotten that Sesshomaru was there. Untill he decided to open his big mouth.
"Pitifull half breed, letting yourself get injured in such a way. And it's your weapon arm too, you truly are a weakling," Sesshomaru said with his back turned to me.
"I didnt ask for your opinion their rover," I shouted at Sesshomaru anoyed by the remark.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka sighed a little and embraced Kohaku, feeling a horrible pain inside of her. She hadn't known that Kohaku cared for her in such a way like that. If she had known...she never would have left him behind. She would have stayed by his side always. Letting out a small whimper, she opened her mouth to say something to Kohaku but let out a gasp of pain as she felt something sharp enter the back of her neck. She also noticed that something was glowing red on his shoulder. No!

Kohaku, now under the control of Naraku, pushed Saiyaka away from him, his hand grasping the chain that was connected to the sickle. He had punctured the back of Saiyaka's neck, and the blade had entered and the tip was a good inch out of the front of her neck. It had gone all the way through. Kohaku looked down at Saiyaka with blank eyes as he watched her cough out large amounts of blood.

"Now can we all please....no."
I suddenly stopped talking, the smell I most dreaded among any other...the smell of Saiyaka's blood. The one time I had smelled it before I made sure that I would be able to smell it no matter how small the amount or how far away it was, and now I could smell it.
"Saiyaka no," I yelled as I darted off.
I ran faster than I even knew I could run, Inuyasha and the others stood there for a second a little confused as to why I just ran off. But they soon fallowed me, though I was moving just a tad bit faster. As I darted through the trees, the only thing on my mind now was getting to Saiyaka. No matter what it took, I just hope she had a bloody nose or something. After a moment I could see the out skirts of the camp, I jumped into the air and landed with in the camp. Soldiers moving out of my way as fast as possible, she was in the doctors tent. I could see the shadows being refected on the tent, I saw one figure, its weapon raised in the air.
"Get away from her!"
I jumped right through the canvas tent tearing a whole in it, I slammed into Kohaku head first and grabbed him by the coller. As I flew through the air rage consumed me as I slammed him back first into the ground, trying to push him into the dirt as far as I could.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka managed to pull the weapon out of her throat and ran over to Tach, blood still comming out from both her neck and mouth. She tried to get him off of Kohaku, trying to tell him to stop, but no words came from her mouth. There was only more blood spilling out as she struggled to get Tach off of Kohaku.

My eyes shot back at Saiyaka, I could see all the blood running from her mouth and neck. My eyes buldged with fear when I saw the wound she had been given by Kohaku, but in turn this only increased my anger. I focused my attention back to the boy, I got to my feet and raised him up by the next. Sango and Miroku came running around the corner, they both stopped in horror at the sight.
"Tach no put him down," Sango screamed in a panic.
I didnt pay any attention to Sango, and I tossed the boy as hard as I could with one arm. He flew through the air and strait into a horse drawn wagon that was sitting right there. Wood and supplied flew to every side as he went right through it and landed on the hay that was in the cart.
"Feel lucky I aint killing you boy," I said looking at the unconsious Kohaku half buried by hay and supplies.
I quickly turned around, I knelt down beside Saiyaka and put my hand over her neck wound to stop the bleeding. From my anger came complete and total fear, fear of loosing Saiyaka.
"Saiyaka, damd why did I have to go and leave like that," I said practically panicing.

Saiyaka had a rather angered look on her face as she looked at Tach. Now she was angery at him for what he had just done to Kohaku. The boy couldn't control his actions, and Tach knew it! He knew! She squirmed away from Tach and put pressure on her own wounds herself. Right now, she didn't want to be touched by Tach. She mouthed words to him, most of them curses. "He didn't mean to!" was something that her lips spelled out at the end of all the swearing.

I sat on the ground, looking over at Saiyaka, still quite worried about her but she seemed to be scolding me. Thats just great, she had a wound to the neck and was bleading all over the place and she was scolding me.
"You know this just figures," I said getting to my feet.
"Tach, what is the matter with you...you know Kohaku has no control over his actions when he is...."
"I know Miroku! I know, you do not have to remind me about that," I shouted at Miroku.
"Than why did you attack him like that," Miroku asked me a little disgusted with my actions.
"Lets say for a second it wasnt Saiyaka that was attacked, but Sango instead. Wouldnt you act in the same way in that case, wouldnt you do anything to protect her," I yelled back walking angrly at Miroku.
"Well yes of course but..."
"Than why the hell am I being made the bad guy, I did the only thing I knew how to do. Protect the most important thing to me in the world, and if that is a crime than I guess you might as well execute me now because I am going to keep on doing it," I yelled right in Miroku's face," You think I enjoy this, you think this is some kind of thrill for me to slap around little kids. Saiyaka frowned a little bit, knowing that she shouldn't have started to scold him. However, when one moment you're talking to a kid who just announced his love for you, then attacks you because of some messed up half demon that houses your father, then things get confusing. When things get confusing for Saiyaka, she tended to get angery, because the things that confuse her are usually things that drive her mad. She was also fed up with Naraku making situations like this. He knew that Tach would attack Kohaku if he hurt her, he knew...

"I've had it, I am done with this," I said as I stormed off.
"What do you mean you've had it, Tach where are you going," Miroku called to me as I walked off.
"To end this once and for all," I yelled back as I walked through the crowd of soldiers who had gathered around.
As I walked off, Keisou who had seen just about the whole thing came up to my side.
"Is there anything I can do sir," Keisou asked me.
"Yes, get the men together and ready...we are attacking," I said as I walked towards the center of the formation.
"Yes if course sir, I will have everyone mounted and ready," Keisou said as he darted off.
After Keisou was gone and kept going, untill I reached the one thing we had that not even Naraku knew we had. The cannons, I didnt like em but I was angry...and when I am angry I tend to do drastic things.
"Master Captain Mazaki, is there something I can do for you sir," the lead soldier said getting to his feet.
"Ready your cannons and get them ready to fire, we are done just sitting here," I said a furious extression still on my face.

Saiyaka coughed, and more blood ran out of her mouth. She was beginning to get rather dizzy all of a sudden from the lack of blood and pitched forward as she lost consiousness.

Kagome rushed over to Saiyaka, her first aid kit already out. She quickly began to tend to the wound on the half demon's neck, letting out a bit of a sigh. "He's going to do something rash, isn't he?" she asked Miroku.

I stod behind the cannon crewmen on top of a hill they had moved the cannons too. It over looked Naraku's castle perfectly, the tree cannons were quickly set up and where ready to fire. I watched quite impressed at the soldiers as they worked to get them sighted in on the castle.
"Master Captain, we are all ready. Just give us the word," one of the soldiers said looking up at me.
I stod there for a moment scilently, knowing as soon as we attacked Naraku would come flying out like a mad hornet who had just had his nest bumped. But I didnt care, I had the numbers to defeat any demon hord her sent this way. And I could take care of him....I hope.
"Allright then, commence bombardment," I said looking back at the castle.
"Yes sir...allright you heard the boss. All cannons ready to fire, give me a count off," the soldiers yelled out as he walked towards the cannons.
"One okay."
"Two okay."
"Three Okay."
"Okay then, FIRE!"

Kagome let out a surprised yelp as she hears a rather loud bang that rang in her ears even after it was over. She scrambled up from off of the floor and looked outside, wanting to know what was going on.

Saiyaka's eyes snapped open, a look of shock in them as she opened her mouth to cry out in fear. She knew what had happened, what was going on, and what had made the noise. The noise wasn't the only thing that had scared her. It would be what would happen after everything was done.

I watched as the first three rounds from the cannons slammed right into the castles court yard, huge explosions sent dirt and wood flying into the air. They also seemed to light up the night with a dark a earie glow, the cannon crewmen felt quite accomplished with their first round and they began to load the cannons again.
"Great work, how long can we keep this up," I asked the soldier in charge of the cannons.
"We have enough powder and balls to keeps going all night boss, the castle will be leveled by the time we are done," the lead soldier said with a smirk on his face.
"Good, keep firing then," I said looking back at the smoke rising from the castle.
When the soldiers were done loading the cannons again, they quickly got out of the way. The cannons fired again seeming to shake the ground beneath me, but dispite the loud noise and shock wave seeming to come from just the cannon firing didnt even fase me in the least. Three more fire balls rose into the night sky when the tree rounds landed in the castle, this time taking out a large chunk of the main building.

Saiyaka whimpered and clamped her hands over her hears, trying to get the sound to be blocked off from her hearing. "Stop, stop, stop!" she begged, but she knew that her pleas would go unanswered. The noise from the cannons were too loud. The smell of fire, even though it was quite a ways away, made her sick to her stomach. Using the cannon was like torture.

I was very confused about what was going on here. I looked to Inuka, but then followed the others. After a bit when I reached some sort of camp there was somebody bleeding pretty badly but Kagome was taking care of her. Suddenly my ears hurt from the loud sound of cannons. I just stood there looking a bit confused and bewildered.

"FIRE!"
The last round from that cannon wized through the air, I could almost watch it go if I looked hard enough. This time when it hit a small shack just in the corner of the castle it resulted in a huge explosion that took out some other parts of the castle as well.
"Good thats enough, hold you fire untill I give the word," I said walking off from the cannons.
I walked back to the formation, there was a big hurry of soldiers getting ready. They all seemed quite excited about the attack, they truly are only soldiers. This is what they did and they loved it.
"Hey boss, everything is just about set...most of the soldiers are ready," Keisou said running up to me.
"Excellent, now Keisou you remember that boy that I through into that wagon," I asked looking down at him.
"Yeah sure boss I remember," Keisou said a little confused.
"I want you to have him checked by the doctor, and then locked up, tied up or what ever you can do. And keep him under close guard, he is nothing more than a spy for the enemy right now," I said as I made my way back towards Saiyaka and the others.

Sango was next to Saiyaka, trying to give her comfort and hoping to calm her down. She snapped her head up and looked at Tach as he came through. "You know that she's terrified of that sound!" she hissed, nodding to Saiyaka. "Are you so thick headed that you forgot that?!"

Saiyaka still had her hands clamped over her ears, whimpering and crying. She was still whispering for somebody to stop the noise, even after the explosions were all over now. Her body was trembling so badly that somebody blind could tell she was shaking.

Inuka's head shot up at the loud noise. She had been rummaging in her robes to find a spell or charm that she had come across for Tach. She was sure she had one some where...

I looked to Inuka for some answers. Seeing that the other two were preoccupied I asked her,"Who are these people?"

As I walked up to everyone, I could see that some were not to pleased with me. While the others like Inuyasha were just compleatly confused...though for him thats not much of a surprise. Three soldiers then walked up behind me, a pair a shackles with them.
"Excuse me sir, but you said there was a boy here that needed our...attention," one of the soldiers said trying to put it lightly.
"Yes he is over there, lock him up but dont harm him...or I will make sure you dont make it back in once peice," I said pointing to Kohaku.
"Understood sir," the soldier said as the three of them walked over to Kohaku.
The first one reached over and helped the boy out of the wagon I had pile drived him into, when they layed him on the ground his eyes sprung open and he started to frantically look around.
"Whats happening," he said looking every where.
"Calm down boy, we are just trying to help. Now relax your arms so we can get them behind your back," the soldier just to his side said.
"Let me go, I need to know what happened," Kohaku yelled as he started to fight back.
When Kohaku started to fight back the soldier grabbed Kohakus left arm and pulled it behind his back and put one of the shakles on. Another soldier to the right grabbed his right arm and shackled it as well. The two soldiers helped Kohaku and turned him around, he looked very scared at the moment.
"Kohaku I am sorry about this, but its for your's and everyone elses safetly. Please try and understand I do not want to do this," I said to Kohaku as kindly as I could.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka looked at Tach mournfully, walking over to him and prying him away from the soldiers that were trying to tie the boy up. She held Kohaku protectively, glaring at Tach for a minute. She wasn't taking too nicely to the use of the cannons, and she was mad that he had used them anyway. Saiyaka knew that if she prevented Kohaku from being restrained, that would make Tach a little mad and they would be even. "He's unarmed, so everything is fine now...Back off!" she warned the soldiers and Tach.

I walked up calmy to Saiyaka, trying to remain calm about this whole situation. I didnt want to escalate the situation any more than it allready was, everyone was mad at eachother. And I did not want any more arguments. I stopped right infront of Saiyaka and sighed, a smile coming across my face.
"Listen Saiyaka, I am only trying to do the right thing here...and if you feel that he is no longer a threat than I belive you, no matter what I will always belive what you say to me. You and the others can keep an eye on Kohaku while I go to Naraku's castle with the rest of the army. But for my sake, alow a few guards to stay with you. Just incase something happens," I said putting my hand on Saiyaka's shoulder.
"I dont know how you can expect her to even speak with you after everything you have done tonight," Sango blurted out.
"I know I have acted stupidly, and I regret all of the things I have done tonight...but I trust that even though they may bring some pain now, they will benefit us all in the long run. Now I have to go, keep yourself safe," I said as I put my hand on Saiyaka's cheek.

[Chibi-chan]

"...You used them," Saiyaka whispered in a hateful and accusing tone. "You used them while I was so close..." she whimpered, looking at Tach. Tears had sprung to her eyes once again as she allowed herself to wrap her arms around him. "Now you're going to hurt me more by leaving with nothing to defend you but an army who doesn't even know of Naraku's power!"

[Red Dragon]

"I guess Tach has an army, his mate has a problem and Naraku's gonna die." Inuka said to Naku. Seshomaru slipped behind them and Inuka thought Naku might swoon. "Lets see what happens..." she said sitting down to watch the drama unfold. She felt sorry for Saiyaka, she had scared her with her fire magic once... To appologise she had given Saiyaka a saphire charm against fire, so she wouldn't have to be afraid of the fire part of the blasts. She had tested the thing herself, her magic couldn't even over come the charm's power. She began rummaging around in her pockets for food. She pulled out a small green vile insted. "Hmmm... I wonder what this is for." she said to herself uncorking it...

"If luck is on our side than Naraku has allready left, we are just going in to secure the castle for use as our own. If it turns out that Naraku is still in the castle than I will call a retreat, I promise you that I will not endanger myself or the soldiers. You have my word on that," I said putting my arm around Saiyaka.
I held her there tightly for a moment, I truly did not want to have to leave her now. But I needed to know if Naraku had left or not, that bombardment from the cannons was sure to either piss him off or scare him off. God knows their is a 50/50 chance for either, I was just hoping it was the latter.
"Inuyasha, you can acompany me with the lead unit. Come this way," I said as I let go of Saiyaka.
"Lead unit, man this whole thing is confusing," Inuyasha said fallowing after me scratching his head in confusion.
"Saiyaka I will be back, I promise you nothing will happen. Kagome, make sure her wound is treated well. And also see what you can do for Kohaku, make sure he is un harmed," I said as I walked off.

[Chibi-chan]

Kagome gave a small nod and looked to Saiyaka. She almost flinched when she saw the pained look on the girl's face as Tach left her behind. "They'll all be fine," Kagome said as she walked over to her and checked Saiyaka's neck to make blood wasn't comming through the bandages. It seemed pretty good at the moment, so she went over to Kohaku to check him out.

Keisou had gathred 500 hunder of the soldiers, half the entire batalion. He was at the front with his brother Keimyou waiting for me, it wasnt long before I cam trotting up on my horse. Inuyasha who opted not to ride was walking next to me.
"Everything is set boss, just give us the word," Keisou said looking over at me.
"You did good Keisou, but technically it isnt all up to me anymore," I said leaning back on my horse slightly.
"What do you mean its not up to you, your the guy in charge," Keisou said confused.
"Not any more, he is," I said pointing to Inuyasha.
"Huh...me, what do you mean," Inuyasha said surprised.
"I mean you are the son of the great dog General Taishou, you are the rightful heir of his army so. Here is is, the first battalion all ready and waiting your commands," I said pointing to all the men.
"Hey wait no one ever asked me if I wanted to do this," Inuyasha snapped.
"Does anyone every ask you Inuyasha, the answer is no, becuase you would probably say no. That is why things are done behind your back so you have no choice, now take command of your troops and give them your orders...actually you are suppose to give me orders and I in turn give them your orders. Its the whole rank structor...thing," I said twirling my finger in the air un enthusiastically.

When Kagome went to check on Kohaku, he backed away and shook his head a little bit. "No, I'm fine," he said in a rather stubborn manner. He was looking at Saiyaka's treated wound and he sulked over to a corner of the tent, closing his eyes. "I hurt you," he said, looking at her.

"No," the half demon whispered, shaking her head and going over to the boy. "It was Naraku who harmed me. He just did it by using your body, that's all..."

I sat down next to Inuka not fully aware that Sess was behind us. "You don't even know what that is, yet you are carrying it around with you?" I asked Inuka as she uncorked the green vile. I sighed thinking about what how I should repay Inuka, I owed her one for earlier. "Hey Inuk-" I cut off when I finally noticed there was someone behind us, not wanting to turn around I just sat there.

"Wait...did you say I give you orders," Inuyasha said smirking.
"Yes Inuyasha, you are in charge of this army not me. So you have complete authority over me.....oh crap," I said realizing what I was saying.
I peared down at Inuyasha from my horse, he had the most evil look on his face. I could only imagine of what he was thinking, I gulped and sat strait up on my horse.
"Comeplete authority huh, I think I am starting to like this idea," Inuyasha said with an evil smile.
"Now when I say that I mean within reason, just becuase you have authority over me dosent mean I am going to every last thing you say," I said nervously.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka let out a soft sigh and closed her eyes. "I wonder if Tach has told Inuyasha about how he gets to comand that entire army," she muttered. "If so...Tach is screwed if Inuyasha actually uses his head and realizes that he can even control Tach..."

"Keisou, bring Inuyasha a horse," I said rolling my eyes.
"A horse, why on earth would I want to ride some dumb old horse," Inuyasha complained," Anyways isnt it my decisions."
"Inuyasha let me give you a peice of advice, the soldiers like to see their leader at the front sitting high up. And that means on a horse, I dont care weather you like it or not its good for their moral. Now ride the damd horse and stop complaining, they dont like a cry baby on a power trip either," I said leaning over and speaking so only Inuyasha could hear.
"Who you calling a cry baby," Inuyasha said smaking me in the head.
"I am thats who," I yelled back rubbing the back of my head.
"Can we just get going allready, I am getting sick of just standing here," Inuyasha said getting rather anoyed.
"Good idea, all this talking is getting on my nerves," I said sitting properly on my horse once again.
Keisou then brought up another hose for Inuyasha, he gave Inuyasha the reins and then made his way back to his horse. Inuyahsa looked the horse over quickly and then looked it directly in the eye.
"You buck me off horse and I swear you will regret it," Inuyasha grumbled at it.
"Just get on allready Inuyasha and lets go," I complained.

[Chibi-chan]

"More than likely...Things are going to be hard on Tach, I just know it," Miroku said with a sigh, shaking his head a little bit. "Being alone with Inuyasha in charge...It must be tough!"

Sango laughed a little at this and nodded her head in agreement, crossing her arms. "Well, all we can do for him is pray!" she stated.

"Now you're really getting me worried," Saiyaka whimpered.

Though it took him awhile Inuyasha finally got on the damd horse, surprisingly he knew what he was doing and handnt been knocked off yet. He was riding just to my side with Keisou and Keimyou just behind us, the formation was making a good speed towards the burning castle.
"So Tach, what exactly got this all started, the army I mean," Inuyasha asked me.
"It was my father, apparently he isnt dead like I though. He is back with the other 5 battalions in my old village," I said not sounding to enthusiastic about it.
"Your father's allive, but you always told me he was killed the same night my father was," Inuyasha said looking at me all confused.
"That's what I though to, he said he did it to protect my mother and me. Fat load of good that did," I said rolling my eyes.
"Speaking of wich, did you..." Inuyasha said started to trail off.
"Yeah I did, I made sure to say hi for you. What about your mother, have you visited her grave lately," I asked as we ducked under a tree branch.
"No, not lately...been a little busy if you havnt noticed," Inuyasha said sending me a glare.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka was now pacing around, looking a little bored out of her mind, not to mention scared. "...This waiting is driving me crazy!" she announced, looking at everybody.

"...Saiyaka...If you haven't noticed, nobody is making you wait here," Kagome said, blinking a little bit in confusion.

[Red Dragon]

Inuka felt Sesi's presence behind her and heard the commotion going on around her but she was bent on the little bottle. "So what." she muttered at Naku. She tried to remember where she had gotten the stupid thing. She noticed Inu on a horse and caught Sesi's look of disgust. She shot him a look and he returned his gaze to her little bottle. She decided to pore a little out on to the ground, just to see what would happen...

As she did she jumped back pulling Naku with her as a huge tree sprouted and grew at an extream rate. They bumped in to Sesi who caught them before the could fall. She saw Naku trying to hide her blush, it wasn't working...

"I guess this stuff grows back things..." Inuka said to Sesi. She looked at his replacement arm, the one that Inu had taken from him. "Sesi, I think this might help your arm" she said coming up to him. He tore off the demon arm he had and quietly surrendered to her idea. He removed the top half of his kimon exposing what was left of his arm. She let just a drop fall on to his shoulder and watched as his new arm grew. His eyes grew in amazment as he flexed is new hand's fingers.

Meanwhile Inuka was dancing madly around, extreamly happy that she had done some thing right today. She stopped when she realized that she could use it to help Tach too. She ran up and gave Sesi a hug, which he returned now with both of his arms. She looked over and saw that Naku was being left out, so she pulled her into a group hug!

"Inuyasha, didnt I just tell you to get the hell down," I mutled over to Inuyasha who was sticking his head up over some bushes.
Inuyasha glared at me for a second and then nealed down, we had finally reached the edge of Naraku's castle and were scoping it out. Though of course Inuyasha wanted to just jump right in and start hacking at every last thing that moved.
"This is stupid, why can't we just jump in there allready," Inuyasha grumbled.
"Just pipe down and watch carefully, if you are going to be a leader it looks like you are going to need a few lessons first," I whispered back to him angrily.
"Oh and like you know anything about leading," Inuyasha said folding his arms and sitting down.
"Yes I do, I've gotten quite good at it actually so just pay attention," I said getting anoyed with his attitude," Keisou, take your group up to the castle wall. Check out the entrance and then give me a singnal if its all clear."
"You got it boss," Keisou said getting to his feet.
Keisou and about 20 other soldiers got to their feet and made a mad dash over to castle wall, when the reached it they made sure to stay close to the wall as Keisou peaked his head in to check it out. All he could see was smoldering remains of the buildings. He looked back at where the rest of the group was hiding and waived to us.
"Thats the signal, lets go," I said as I got to my feet.

Saiyaka blinked a little bit, then smirked and bolted out of the tent, following after Tach's scent. Kagome was right about nobody stopping her as she raced up into the trees, using the branches to make her way to where Tach and Inuyasha were at. Spotting them, she jumped down and landed right on top of Inuyasha's back.

As I was about to have the rest of the soldiers rush the castle, I saw Inuyasha get flattened when Saiyaka landed on his back. I looked down at him for a moment as he lay there, then up at Saiyaka.
"Its hard to tell if you are trying to give him a back message or kill him, either way that didnt look comfortable," I said raising a brow.
"Hey whats the big idea," Inuyasha said slowly lifting his face out of the dirt.
"Inuyasha just stay there for a second," I siad as I pushed Inuyasha face back in the dirt," Well this is rather sudden, I would have figured that you would want to stay back with Kohaku. But if you rather be here I definetly dont have any complaints, not if I want to get hurt that is."

[Chibi-chan]

"Kohaku wasn't talking to me...He was scared, traumatized..." Saiyaka said with a sigh as she got up, stepping all over Inuyasha before she got off of him. "Oh, and I always wanted to do that, too!" she added, grinning at the half demon's face planted into the ground once again.

Inuyasha pulled his face off the ground and glared at Saiyaka. "Yeah, that's really adult behavior there, you little wench!" he grumbled, picking his now aching body up from off the ground as well.

As Inuyasha got to his feet and brushed himself off I punched him in the side of the head pretty good, he almost fell over again but he caught himself. He grumbled at me as he rubbed his head.
"You should learn to be more polite around women Inuyasha, it pays off in the long run trust me," I said cracking my knuckles.
"Yeah I bet it does," Inuyasha said sarcastically.
I rolled my eyes at Inuyasha again before I turned my attention back to Saiyaka, the guy was acting like a child still. I highly doubt any of the soldiers would want to fallow him after that dissplay.
"I'm glad your here Saiyaka, I was starting to think you werent going to talk with me for awhile after all the stupid crap I've done toniight. That and I kinda need someone to act as my right hand man...errr lady," I said laughing at a joke I thought was kinda funny.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka smiled softly at Tach and hugged him. "Don't call me a lady...It doesn't suit me," she stated. "And you always do stupid stuff, so I'm used to it!" she added with a laugh.

"Hey now thats not true, I dont always do stupid stuff," I said rubbing the back of my head.
"Yeah you do, just admit it," Inuyasha said folding his arms.
"Oh and your one to talk," I said glaring at Inuyasha.
"Uh excuse me sir's, but shouldnt we be moving on the castle now instead of...chating," one of the soldiers sugjested.
I stopped glaring at Inuyasha and looked at the soldier, he was partly right. We should be moving in on the castle to secure it, I havnt felt Naraku's presance yet. And I highly doubt 500 demon soldiers would go un noticed standing on his doorstep.
"Right, advance on the castle and secure it. Once in there set up defenses incase someone tried to take it back," I said more seriously.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka was wondering why Tach wanted to take the castle. It was very puzzling to her, considering that they had almost destroyed the damned thing. "Tach...Tell me one thing...Why did you use those damned things?" she pressed, referring to the cannons.

"I wanted to scare Naraku off before I charged in, I didnt want to take any unessesary risks and end up getting alot of people hurt. We may have more soldiers than Naraku has hairs on his head but he is still to powerful, he would have masecared us if we just barged in," I said as all the soldiers started to make their way into the castle.
"In other words you were too chicken to face him," Inuyasha said as we stepped over the bushes infront of us.
"No Inuyasha, does it look like I could take him on in my current condition," I said waiving my right sleeve in his face.
Inuyasha grumbled yet again and looked forward as he made his way towards the castle, he knew very well that I couldnt take on Naraku with on one arm. Stupid idiot, always had to make things difficult.

Saiyaka glared at Inuyasha and smacked him rather hard in the back of the head. "You insensitive little jerk!" she hissed, looking ready to stab him with the blade that she still carried. "I don't care if you were named as the leader of this happy little group! I'll still smack you around!" she growled as she kicked his face into the ground and kept her foot on his head, keeping his face planted there.

Inuyasha flailed his arms around as his face dug into the ground. When Saiyaka removed her foot from the back of his head, he shot upwards, gasping for air. "What are you trying to do? Kill me?!"

"Carefull what you say Inuyasha that just may come true some day," I said looking down at Inuyasha.
Before he could give another smart @$$ reply, one of the soldiers who was going through the rubble of the castle came across something rather interesting. At first he thought it might be a dead persons hand...or what was left of my arm. But as he moved more rubble he uncovered what it was really attatched to.
"Captian Mazaki, I think you should come look at this," the soldiers yelled out loud as he knelt down next to the unconsious girl.
"What is it," I yelled back.
"Its a girl dressed all in white, she dosent look to badly injured but it looks like she took a nasty blow to the side of the head. We might want to take her back to the doc and have her checked out," the soldiers said as other gathered around him.

[Chibi-chan]

"A girl in white?" Saiyaka asked, frowing a little. Could it be who she thought it was? Could that girl that they found be Kana? Leaving Inuyasha behind to grumble to himself, she pushed past the soldiers, wanting to take a look at the girl. If it was Kana, she might have to insist that she take charge of caring for the girl. After all, she was rather loyal to Naraku and never questioned things.

When Saiyaka charged forward to go find the girl I fallowed suit, the soldiers who had gathered around moved to the side and the soldier that had found her was kneeling down right above her.
"Damd, I knew I should have grabbed the girl before we left," I said looking over the unconsious Kanna.
"You know this girl boss," Keisou comming up from behind.
"Yeah, her name is Kanna. She is one of the Naraku's incarnations, though she may look sweet and innocent she is extreamly dangerous. It may be best if we care for her wounds, then leave her on her own," I said looking around her for her mirror.
"On her own, but Captain Mazaki she wont last a day out her on her own," one of the soldiers said looking around at the wilderness.
"Trust me she has someone waiting to get her," I said looking over to Saiyaka," If Kagura was here than she would more than likely come back for her right, Kagura is not the type of person to leave someone like Kanna to die."

Saiyaka frowned a little and took Kanna in her arms. "I don't know about that statement, Tach," she said with a small sigh. "Kagura seems to have changed somehow, and I think that it has something to do with Naraku. She uses this monotone voice as if she doesn't have any kind of emotion at all and never will. It's rather frightening as well as confusing..."

"Well this is proving to be a problem, if Kagura really has been changed and she wont come back to get Kanna. Than we will have to take care of her, and keeping someone like Kanna around is dangerous. Even if she is a little girl," I said getting to my feet.
"You keep saying this girl is dangerous but I dont see how," Keisou said getting a closser look at Kanna.
"She is dangerous because she can steel the soul right out of your body, she has a special mirror that aids her in that. Find that mirror and keep it away from her thought and we have a better chance of controlling her and keeping her from becoming a danger," I said walking off towards the castle court yard.

[Chibi-chan]

"Ah, she won't hurt anybody unless I tell her to," Saiyaka stated, shaking her head a little. The girl was loyal to Naraku, that was true, but it was also true that Kanna was loyal to other incarnations of Naraku, such as Kagura and Saiyaka herself. "She won't be much of a problem, unless Naraku comes after her and tells her what to do," she added as an after thought.

"What the!?" I yelled as Inuka pulled me back. "Where the heck did you get that stuff, Inuka?!" When Sesshoumaru caught us I felt myself blushing and I could not hide it. While I was trying to recover from that and control my blushing but dropped both as I watched Inuka put some of that stuff of Sesi's arm and his arm grew back. I just stood there and gaped in amazement. She ran up and gave him a hug then pulled me in bringing me back to life.

"Inuka!" I said squirming a bit but still getting pulled into the hug blushing like mad. 'Now I do NOT owe her anything. ......well....maybe I do seeing this is sort of a favor. Fine. This part is even put I still owe her from before and thats it.' I thought. Then the hug group parted. "So Inuka...."I said now just giving up on the blush thing, "Are you gonna go see that one guy now and give him some of that stuff?"
I look over at Sesi and then quickly turn my head away and toward the ground. 'He probally knows something is up now. Great, great job Naku.' I thought to myself.

"Well thats a bit more reasuring, if she will listen to you we can atleast keep her under control untill we can return her to Naraku," I said with some relife.
"What return her to Naraku, what the hell are you talking about Tach. Since we have the girl we should get everything she knows about Naraku out of her," Inuyasha snapped as he approched.
"Inuyasha do you seriously think that she will tell us anything, besides we have Saiyaka dont we. Use her head next time before you open your mouth," I said looking up at Inuyasha out of the corner of my eye.
Inuyasha grumbled for a second and then walked on to see the rest of the castle, I paid no more attention to him for awhile and just looked around. A slight breaze blew my right sleve around, and flintched a little when the cloth rubed up against it. It still hurt some, and maybe it was hurting a little more because I was standing where it happened.
"I was such an idiot...atleast I know not to make that same mistake again," I said to myself as I looked at where my arm used to be.

Saiyaka sighed a little and just held Kanna, wondering if everything would be alright with the child. After all, if Kagura was acting strange, then what was stopping Kanna from being the same way? Of course, she didn't say this out loud, or else Inuyasha most likely might carry on and have some sort of fit.

"Hey boss, you allright," Keisou asked as he looked at me from sitting atop a pile of rubble.
"Yeah I'm fine, just thinking about where this guy could have gone. My initial intent was to scare him off, but he left without a trace...that was not in my plan," I said looking over at Keisou.
"I havn't gone far, you just arent looking hard enough," Naraku said from behind me.
Keisou hopped to his feet and reached for his sword when he saw the baboob covered man standing just behind me. I raised my hand out and signaled him to stop, it was only a puppet. I turned around and faced the puppet, he was as usually covered in his baboon pelt.
"Well look who it is, thought for a second you had chickened out on us and ran away," I said with a smirk.
"Still cocky I see, even with one arm who have a mouth on you," Naraku snickered.
"Yeah well my good mood seems to piss you off so its worth atleast acting like I am happy and confident to see you flamming mad. You know you look really cute when you are pissed off," I said making Naraku angry.
"You tell em boss," one of the soldiers yelled as they all started to laugh at Naraku.

Saiyaka had a rather disapproving look on her face as Tach just seemed to be digging himself in deeper and deeper. "You're going to regret saying those things, I'm sure," she muttered under her breath.

Naraku seemed to get a little mad at my last comment, thought I couldnt really tell consider he was underneith that stupid baboon pelt of his. I started to circle around Naraku, knowing this would further make him angry.
"You know Naraku you would look alot better if you took that stupid baboon pelt off, it looked alot more flattering on Saiyaka. But on you I am just not seeing it, you look like a women in that thing," I said shruging my shoulders.
The entire group of soldiers, I think all 500 of them started to laugh quite hard. I was sitting here poking fun at the strongest demon around and I wasnt worried about the consiquences. Naraku liked to play mind games, well I thought what better to play mind games back by calling him a women.
"You are going to regret this incolence," Naraku grumbledas he fallowed me with his eyes as I circled around him.
"Oh I'm sorry did I offend you in some way, its just that it's really hard not to poke fun at a guy who wears a girly clothes and makes children do his dirty work. Come on Naraku you are just setting youself up to be the brunt of every joke that comes out of my mouth," I said patting him on the back really hard one time and then walking infront of him again.

Inuka considered for a moment, watching Sesi look at Naku. "You seem to be a bit red, do you have a fever?" he asked Naku. Inuka almost did a face plant when she heard that. 'He's such a gentlemen...' she thought, noticing that he was trying to be considerate. He was improving, he was saving Naku from embarrasment. 'Cute!' she thought. "Ummm... yeah, you guys want to come?" she said to Naku before she fell over, 'ok so he's good looking... he's still my brother!' she thought feeling a bit protective of him.

"Tach!" Saiyaka hissed, getting a little irrirated herself. The guy wasn't being the smartest that he could be at the moment, and she was getting a little mad that he was getting Naraku so angery. Naraku angery really didn't settle well with her.

I was confused at wether he was clueless or was saving me. I had no idea what to think. I groaned. "I might as well have a fever with my temperture now..." I mutted. Feeling as flustered as I was I felt a bit light headed and did not know how much more of this I could take before I fainted or really catch a fever. I turned to Inuka "Yeah I'm coming." I started to walk her way but staggered a bit.

"What, I'm only having some harmless fun," I said when Saiyaka yelled at me.
As I looked away from Naraku at Saiyaka, Naraku felt an opening to attack me. Even as a puppet he got mad easily, when the demon puppet lunged at me my eyes immediatly flew back to him. I saw a hand appear ready to strike, I jumped up into the air and actually stepped on his head as he went under me.
"Ha, your demons puppets arent nearly strong enough to hurt me Naraku. If you truly want to kill me you are going to have to face me yourself," I said landing back on the ground.
"You pitiful half breed, I will destroy you," Naraku hissed as he spun around to look at me again.
"Sure you will, I belive you...Inuyasha show him how much we belive him," I said standing before him mockingly.
"You got it....Wind Scar!!"
Inuyasha came down out of no where and with the Tetsuiga blew the demon puppet to peices, at the same time blowing away the southern castle wall. When Inuyasha recovered from his attack and sheathed the Tetsuiga I walked up next to him.
"You are really going to have to teach me how to do that one of these days," I said looking at the scars the Tetsuiga left in the ground.

"Hn, good luck with trying that move with some random sword," Saiyaka muttered, rolling her eyes some. She was slightly peeved at Tach for how reckless he was being at the moment. One of these days, he was going to be in a world of hurt because of his cocky attitude or his overly large mouth that seemed to go on and on when he began to insult people. "Let's just head back, alright?!"

"Okay I think that seems good," I said turning towards Saiyaka," You all heard the lady lets get going, this place is ruined so we can use it like I had hoped."
I started to make my way towards the exit of the castle, when something struck me as a little odd. While Naraku was here he didnt call on Kanna to return to him, maybe I just didnt give him a chance to say much. With all the insulting I was doing I guess it would have been kinda hard to say anything.
"Oh well his loss not mine," I said to myself in a rather good mood.
"What are you so happy about," Inuyasha asked me as he came up next to me.
"Oh nothing much, just having a good night that all," I said walking along.
"Really now, some might consude the loss of an arm as a bad thing," Inuyasha said grabbing ahold of my right sleve.
"Yeah well, once its gone there aint much you can do about it. I mean its gone right, the only way I am going to get it back is if I build myself one," I said looking at where my arm would be.
"Build yourself one, what the hell are you talking about," Inuyasha asked not understand what I meant.
"Oh you will see, I plan on leaving my arm the way it is...not there. That is untill I can find a certain someone who may be able to help me," I said with a odd little smile on my face.

Saiyaka looked slightly confused, looking at Tach as though he was insane. "What the hell are you going on about?" she asked him suspicously. Getting a new arm made for him? It sounded a little odd to her, not to mention impossible.

"Trust me I have everything under control, you will all understand a little later on...all I can tell you right now is that it involves the use of a jewel shard," I said in an attempt to end the topic.
"A jewel shard, what are you crazy," Inuyasha shouted in my ear.
"Thanks for blowing my eardrum Inuyasha...and yes if you want to look at it like that I could be consued as a little crazy," I said rubbing my left ear that Inuyasha shouted in," Just have some paciance, once we get back to the village I will tell you everything. Its the reason I have been so calm about loosing my arm, I have had a solution for it this whole time."
Well I am sure I was confusing them even more, but it didnt matter they would all understand soon. I just hoped the old man was still allive, last time I checked he looked like he was going to die on me.

"That's a good plan and all, but what happens when we need the shard to complete the jewel?!" Inuyasha yelled, sounding a little frantic.

Saiyaka hissed at Inuyasha, scratching him across the face with her claws. "You know, not everything revolves around that stupid rock!" she scolded. "After all, Kohaku can't have his shard removed, or he'll die, so what does it matter if there are two shards missing from your stupid jewel, huh?!" she scowled, smacking him again.

I watched Sesi walk with Naku, helping her as she staggered along. 'Cute' I thought following them. We picked up the groups scents and followed, they seemed to be heading bak towards the village. "Hope nothings happened to them" I said. Sesi looked over at me. "The less half breeds to deal with the better." he said. I gave him a scowl. He didn't even twitch but I could tell he didn't like me being mad at him.
I heard the wind pick up and smelled a human in the wind. I looked up and Jaken with Rin behid him were riding a two headed dragon down to meet us. Jake, being a stupid toad immediatly jumped off bowed to Sesi and I murmering "Lord and Lady" and glaring at Naku.

I sighed and just let Sesi help me. My blush had went down but I do think that I am getting a fever. As I staggered along that Jaken came up. I had met him before along with Rin. I looked over at Inuka. She probally felt bad. I did'nt think she broke the news to Rin yet. I looked back at the little toad. He was glareing at me. "Hey whats your problem?" I started to walk over to him but then everything went balck.

"Hey now why did you go and do that," Inuyasha complained holding his face.
"Becuase Inuyasha you dont understand the big picture, even though your intentions are to gather and return the Shikon no Tama to its original form. It will never happen, people depend on it for life now. Do you really think you can take life away from those people who rely on the power of the jewel," I said looking at Inuyasha seriously.
"Well no thats...not what we are trying to do," Inuyasha said being caught of guard by my statement.
"I know thats not your intention, but the truth is if you wanted to get it back to its original form...than you would have to take Kohaku's life in the process," I said somberly.

"Allright I get it you dont have to keep hitting me," Inuyasha said holding the back of his head.
As we walked along further, I sensed Sesshomaru soming our way. Along with Inuka and some new person, this was just peachy now I have to deal with Sesshomaru...not what I need right now.
"Inuyasha, come with me," I said as I jumped into the air.
"Hey wait, what do you need me for," Inuyasha said jumping after me.
I glided through the air for a second and then landed in a small clearing surounded by trees. Inuyasha landed next to me and walked over to me, a tad confused why I dragged him off.
"So whats the big idea dragging me off like this," Inuyasha asked me.
"Inuyasha, can we just stop bickering for a moment and talk seriously. Its hard to do around everyone else, we are almost expected to get on eachothers nerves and I am quite frankly sick of it," I said as I sat on a stump.
"Yeah your telling me," Inuyasha said folding his arms.
"Inuyasha I know you are well aware of the situation at hand, with Kohaku I mean. We have him back and now most of all we need your help," I said resting my head in my hand.
"My help, why do you need my help," Inuyasha asked a little confused.
"Becuase Inuyasha you are stronger than me, both of us know that. Inuyasha we have been friends and long time, but we never really acted like it. I think now we need to start acting like it, for everyone elses sake. Lets be friends like we used to be, back when we were kids," I said looking over at Inuyasha who acutally seemed to be listening to me.
"Yeah, like old times," Inuyasha said reaching his hand down to help me up.

Saiyaka gave a sigh and ran her hand through her hair, closing her eyes for a moment. Inuyasha kept getting on her nerves, and if he didn't stop soon, she'd probably take his stupid head off of his shoulders. That would most likely shut him up enough.

Inuyasha helped me stand up again, I think we had come to something of an understanding. It had been awhile since we had talked without trying to kill eachother.
"Oh and one more thing, about Saiyaka...you might want to try and lay off on her some," I said as we made our way back to the others.
"What do you mean I have to lay off, she is the one getting physical about it," Inuyasha said remembering the all the hits and slaps.
"Well she has some good reason for all of that," I said with a small laugh.
"Yeah and what would that be," Inuyasha asked me raising a brow.
"I'll tell you some other time, trust me it may take awhile to tell," I said as we appeared infront of the soldiers again.

Saiyaka had mounted herself up on a horse. Usually she wouldn't have done so without someobody suggesting it first, but such Kanna needed medical treatment, she wanted to get going as soon as possible. "Yo, you're finally back. What did you two chat about?" she asked, grinning a little.

"Nothing much, just came to an understanding. Right Inuyasha?" I said as I came up next to Saiyakas horse.
"If thats what you want to call it," Inuyasha said in an abnormally cheery mood.
"Wow, guess that talk did have an affect, I dont think I have ever heard you talk like since we were kids," I said in a bit of a surprise.
"It wasnt the talk really, just in a good mood thats all," Inuyasha said shruging and walking off.
"Well that didnt last long," I said laughing a little," Atleast we wont be fighting as much anymore...that and he said he would bug you less. As long as you stop beating him over the head that is."
I looked up at Saiyaka, she had Kanna there with here still. I was still unsure if we should have her around, she was dangerous no matter what way you put it. But she was still just a small girl, a demon girl that could steel souls.
"So is Kanna doing allright...I mean beside the fact she looks like she never got a day of sunlight," I said referring to the fact she was so pale all the time.

Saiyaka slightly raised a brow when she saw Inuyasha in a rather frightening good mood. It kind of creeped her out, truth be told. "An understanding, huh? What kind of understanding?" she asked, sounding a little suspicous. When Tach asked about Kanna, she shifted her attention towards the girl. "She's fine," she muttered, rolling her eyes.

"Well thats good, she may be the enemy but still. I wouldnt be right to just leave her injured like that, I though Naraku would of had enough sense to leave the castle after we burst in the first time. He usually moves everything when that happens, makes me wonder why," I said pondering the idea.
"You think to much sometimes you know that Tach, just let it go allready. We got Kohaku, we sucessesfully ousted him from yet another one of his castles. And we got that girl there, I think you have done enough for one day," Inuyasha said again in that scary good mood of his.
"Thanks...I think," I said with the last part to quite for him to hear.

[Chibi-chan]

"Stop acting so cheery!" Saiyaka snapped, looking ready to even throw Kanna at Inuyasha just to smack him in the head. "The happy mood doesn't suite you at all...Stop it now!" she begged, practically whimpering.

I walked up next to Inuyasha and looked at him closely for a moment, I could see that somewhere in his smile was a secret adn evil plot.
"Your doing this just to annoy her arent you," I asked poking Inuyasha in the side of the head.
"You bet I am," Inuyasha chirped proudly.
"Well its working a little too well, I would sugjest you lay off just a little. If there is anything I have learned about Saiyaka, the most important thing is not to piss her off. It dosent usually end well," I whispered to him.
"Is that so, I'll make sure I tone it down...a little later," Inuyasha snickered.
I shook my head and walked back next o Saiyaka on the the horse, I knew he was going to get it sooner or later. And even after that warning I gave him he still had that odd smile on his face.
"Its like a damd sport for him...I am really hoping we dont have any kids like him, that would just be too much for me to handle. Oh man I can see it now, I bet you they will call him uncle Inuyasha...I think we are going to have to put up a fence or something," I said thinking into the scary future I was conjuring up in my brain.

Saiyaka was thinking something else for the future. She may not be delving very deep into the future, but she was imagining what was going to happen when they got back to the tents and such. When Kanna was in the doctor's care, Saiyaka was so going to give Inuyasha a beating that he wouldn't forget anytime soon. That stupid smirk was driving her insane, and she really wanted to be pounding the mutt right then and there.

When we came through a tree line the camp fires and tents of the camp became vissable, alot of the soldiers that remined behind at the camp ran up to the others as the formation broke up and started to head to their tents and areas and tell the others of the happenings at the castle.
"Its about time you got back, we were starting to get worried," Kagome said appearing from a tent.
"Yeah well we ran into a little trouble, it wasnt anything we couldnt handle," Inuyasha boasted.
"Well I'm glade the hear that," Kagome said shifting her eyes up to Saiyaka," Wait a minute, isnt that girl...Kanna, the one who stole my soul."

[Chibi-chan]

"Yes, it's Kanna, Kagome, but don't worry about her harming you. She doesn't have her mirror with her, plus I don't think that she would attack without order," Saiyaka stated, handing Kagome the girl for a moment before she went over to Inuyasha. "And you...Stop acting so damn happy! It's creeping me out!" she yelled as she kicked him in the face.

(OOC: We just bumped into you guys, Kagome came running as you can see and we have Kanna. Yes Tach is still missing his right arm, I saw that you had that vile that healed Sesshomaru's arm. Even though I am sure it would be great for Tach to get his arm back, I have another plan for it)

"Keisou," I called as the soldiers started to disperse.
"Yeah boss what do you need," Keisou called back from the formation.
"Tell everyone that we are leaving at first light," I yelled.
"Sure thing," Keisou said as he ran off.
As Keisou ran off to tell the others that we were finally leaving this place, I started to make my way towards the command tent. That was untill I ran into Sesshomaru, he was walking around with Inuka and that new girl. I didnt want to even talk with the guy, I was being nice enough by not trying to kill him.
"Inuka, long time no see huh. Sorry I havnt said much to ya since we found eachother, been kinda busy," I said lauging some.

Kagome blinked some as she held Kanna, watching Saiyaka as she just about picked Inuyasha appart. "Saiyaka, aren't you going a little too hard on him?" she asked as she winced.

Saiyaka was standing on Inuyasha's back, pulling back on his arms. "Nope, he annoyed me greatly, and now he shall feel my wrath!" she smirked, pulling back further.

Before Inuka had much of a chance to answer me, I heard the shouts of pain coming from Inuyasha becuase Saiyaka was beating on him. I told him to cut it out, but no he had to go off and keep pushing her.
"They are like children sometimes I swear," I whispered to myself," Saiyaka get off Inuyasha, I think you have taught him a lesson. He wont be doing that anymore...on purpose anyways."
I shook my head a little when I felt a tuging on my pant leg, I looked down at Kokoru who had finally scuried over to see me.
"Well were on earth have you been, I was starting to worry about you," I said as she smiled up at me.
"Sorry master but I have been kinda busy...if you know what I mean," Kokoru said pointing at Shippou.
"Oh so you two do like eachother than, keeping you on the ropes then isnt he," I said laughing.

Saiyaka let out a rather disappointed sigh and hopped off of Inuyasha, going over to Kagome and taking Kanna. "Thanks," she said to Kagome with a rather questionable grin on her face. She headed towards the doctor's tent so that the man could check her rather pale sister over.

Kagome stared after Saiyaka for a moment, then went to Inuyasha and kneeled down before him. "What the heck did you to to make her so mad?!" Kagome demanded.

"I was in a...good mood," Inuyasha said half beaten to death.
"Well not exactly a real good mood, he was more or less doing it to tick Saiyaka off," I yelled over.
"Inuyasha, why are you always antogonizing her," Kagome snapped.
"Hey I'm the one all beat up here," Inuyasha snapped back.
"Yeah well maybe you deserved it," Kagome huffed as she got up and walked away.
I laughed for a moment and then looked back over at Sesshomaru, that dull emotionless look still on his face. Man was he boring, not to mention cold hearted and ruthless. The question started to enter my mind as to why he was here, part of me thought he was here becuase he sensed the mass formation of demons...or he was here to cause trouble.
"Hey fluff ball," I called out to Sesshomaru," Any particular reason you are hanging around here, I mean no one is keeping you here so please feel free to get lost when ever. Wont hurt my feelings any."

[Chibi-chan]

"Aww, leave him alone, Tach," Saiyaka said as she left the doctor's tent. She had left Kanna in the doctor's care, and that left her to come back and smack Inuyasha if need be. "He can always have a change of heart you know! After all, he's taken in adorable little Rin!" she said with a grin. "Where is Rin at, anyway?!"

"A change of heart...ha, does he even have a heart," I said as I started to walk around him.
Sesshomaru fallowed me with his eyes, he still knew he I was and knew that I didnt like him one bit. I started to stare him down, I was started to remember every reason I hated him. And what he did to me, and my mother.
"I wonder Sesshomaru, did you look into my mothers eyes when you killed her," I asked suddenly.
"I havnt the faintest idea what you are talking about," Sesshomaru said as he started to walk off.
"You dont huh, let me job your memory," I said picking up a rock.
I chucked the rock as hard as I could at the back of Sesshomaru's head, of course he moved just in time when I chucked it at him. He turned his head around and looked at me as I picked up another rock and waited for him to turn around again.

[Chibi-chan]

"Tach!" Saiyaka whined, shaking her head and yanking the rock out of his hand. "Will you cut it out? I know that you're angery for what he did to your mom and all, but I thought that you ended up being past all of that...if I remember correctly," she added, shaking her head. "Who knows, I could be wrong, but if he lets a human tag along after him, he must have changed. And yes, I think he does have a heart, Turbo!"

I looked at Saiyaka as she talked to me, she made some sense...some sense. I should just leave it be, my father would sure as hell have his way with Sesshomaru anyways. Why should I get my hands dirty, I will just make sure he sticks around untill we get back to the village.
"Yeah your right, sorry about that there Fluff ball...I mean Sesshomaru. You can hang around here if you wish, I dont see much of a problem with it. As long as you stay out of my face that is," I said as I turned around.
When I turned to leave I put my arm around Saiyaka and kinda started to drag her off, it had been a long day...and I was tired. I kinda went limp a little and used Saiyaka to support some of my weight, I didnt really mean too I guess the exaustion caught up with me.
"Sorry about that, just a little sleepy thats all," I said picking myself back up.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka let out a soft sigh and looked at him, allowing him to use her as a moving pillow. "You're mouth will get you into so much trouble one of these days, you know that, don't you?" she asked, him, placing a hand on top of his head.

"I know, but sometimes I can't help myself. I will tone it down a bit if it makes you feel better, its the one thing I was cursed with at birth...being a smartass is my nature," I said holding Saiyaka tighter.
"You got that right, sometimes I wonder if he is even in control of his own thoughts," Kokoru said as she and Shippou fallowed us.
"See there you go proof. I just can't control myself," I said laughing a little," So Shippou, you been taking care of my little Kokoru while I've been gone."
Shippou went just about every shade of red when I asked him that, as did Kokoru...it was rather funny, young love like that was always so cute. Even if they were just kids, I suppose it's possible for them to fall in love.
"Sorry about that, wasnt my place to ask," I said patting Shippou on the head.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka laughed a little as Kokoru stated that Tach was indeed a smart-*** and such. She shook her head some and slightly rolled her eyes. "Yeah, but you have to learn how to stop sometimes," she muttered, grabbing one of his cheeks and gently pinching it.

"Stop, I dont think I can stop once I get going. It just gets to be too funny," I said laughing.
Kokoru shook her head as we walked up to the command tent, it was also going to serve as the place I was going to sleep...for a long time I dont care how long it was I needed some sleep. Dont think I have had more than 5 hours of sleep in the past two days. When I moved the flap asside there was allread two beds made up on the ground.
"Keisou that suck up, I bet it was him," I said shaking my head.
"No...it wasnt him," a small voice said from in the corner of the tent.
I turned around and caught sight of Kohaku sitting in the corner, he looks quite depressed. To him all of the things that happened tonight were probably his fault.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka went over to Kohaku and smiled down at him softly. She kneeled beside of him and hugged him close to her. "Aww, did you do this?" she asked. She didn't want Kohaku to be as depressed as he was right now. It made her a little upset to see him so sad.

"Yeah, I thought I should try and...make up for what I did earlier," Kohaku said turning his head to the side.
"You know Kohaku, your a pretty good kid when it comes right down to it," I said walking further into the tent," Even though what happened before wasnt your fault you still and try to make amenz for it. In reality I should be the one apologizing to you for the things I said and did, truthfully I dont know how to. So if you ever need anything, anything at all just let me know and no matter what it is I will do my best to see if I can help you out. Sound good."

[Chibi-chan]

Kohaku glanced towards Tach and gave a slight nod and a faint smile. "Sure, that sounds fine," he said. It seemed that the boy had gotten over being mad at Tach for having Saiyaka fall in love with him.

Saiyaka smiled and gave Kohaku another hug, nuzzling against him. "Well, are you going to be sleeping with Sango tonight rather than in here? It seems that there are only two beds made up," she smiled.

[Isunamaru]

I sat in a tree and started to doze off....soo tired....when i finally snapped out of it everyone was gone....."oh well, guess i'll have to find them again....."....doing so i remembered the army...."hmm.....it'll be easy finding them...."......leaping of the tree i started to dash towards the camp.....

"You can stay here if you want, there is enough room. But I am sure you want to go spend as much time with your sister as possible, so why dont you head on over to her. Inuyasha should be there as well but don't worry, he wont bite," I said laughing.
"Thats debatable," Shippou said with his arms folded.
"No body asked you," I said glaring down at the little fox demon.
Kohaku nodded and then jumped to his feet, he ran passed me through the flap and towards the others. I watched him as long as I could and then turned back to Saiyaka.
"Well I'm bushed, time to get some much needed sleep," I said stretching and making my way towards one of the beds.

Saiyaka gave Tach an agreeing nod and flopped onto the bed that wasn't taken. "Ahhh...It will feel nice to actually get a good sleep!" she stated, nodding at her own words.

[Red Dragon]

Inuka fiddled with her vile. They had met up with the group again but they seemed to be preoccupied. Tach's army was huge, she caught Sesi glaring daggers at some of them. I decided that she didn't want to know why. Naku had fallen asleep in a tree above me and I was feeling drowsy myself. Jaken running around trying to make this 'proper' for a 'Lord and Lady' didn't help. He friggin acted like Sesi and I were mates! Right, like I could ever be a real demon Lady. Thats the day I let Naraku live.

[Isunamaru]

When i finally reached the camp i leapt out of the trees....i calmly walked into the camp, recieving looks from many of the soldiers.....eventually one came up to me"Who are you and what do you want?".....instead of answering him i ignored him and continued on...."Hey WHAT DO YOU WANT?"......turning to look at him i noticed that his friends had gathered behind him....."I am a demon and my business is my own"

I had just layed my head down ontop of my pillow, when I heard a ruckess outside the tent. A bunch of the soldiers yelling at someone asking him what he was doing here and such. I really didnt want to get up, but I figured I should atleast do something.
"I'll go take care of that," I said as I sluggishly got up.
I wondered over to the the tent flap, when I opened I caught sight of the demon the soldiers were yelling at. I growled and then picked up a large rock, I aimed carefully and chucked the rock at the loudest of the soldiers. When it struck him dead center in the forhead the other soldiers all gathered around him and then looked back at me.
"Will you bunch of morons keep quite allready, unless this guy is tearing you limb from limb I dont want to hear a peep out of you...that goes for everybody," I yelled as loud as I could.
The entire camp was dead scilent, everyone had heard my shouting and shut up as soon as I stopped. When I was satisfied that they would shut up I walked back into the tent, I walked passed Shippou and Kokoru who had taken up a spot on a blanket in the corner of the tent.
"That should keep em quite," I said flopping back down on my bed.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka laughed a little and shook her head a bit as she burried her face into the pillow. "You sure know how to get people to keep quite, I swear," she smirked.

"Its a special talent I have, been with me since birth," I said as I lay half unconsious in my bed.
I rolled over some and looked over at Saiyaka, I about to pass out...this is what I get for going for a long time without sleep. Kokoru and Shippou were still wide away though, they were sitting in the corner on that blanket rather enjoying themselvs as they played around with some game that Kagome had given them. A small bouncing ball, and some metal spike things.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka smiled some and his relaxed breathing as he slept ended up coaxing her into sleep as well. She tuned out the little talking that Shippo and Kokoru were doing, and slipped off into a deep sleep.

My eyes slowly cracked open, it was still dark out. I looked around the tent quickly, Saiyaka was out like a light, so was Shippou and Kokoru in their corner. I rolled onto my back and sat up, I rubbed my eyes and then got to my feet. I walked over to the flap of the tent and opened it, everyone was asleep, as I looked around I caught sight of a figure on the hill where the cannons were. It was Sesshomaru.
"What is that moron doing up so late," I said as I grabbed my sword and headed outside.
Sesshomaru who was standing atop the hill, was looking out at the land below. The dim glow still coming from the burning castle lit up the sky ever so slightly. He turned his head slightly when he heard me coming, I walked out of the shadows and then stopped just beside him.
"I dont belive I have ever seen you sleep before, I'm starting to wonder if your an owl or something," I said as I sat down on a rock.
"I have no need for sleep," he said rather coldly.
"I wish that were true for all of us," I said yawning.
"I thought you couldnt stand the sight of me, what are you doing here making useless conversation," Sesshomaru said actually looking at me.
"Your right, I can't stand to even hear your name. I just thought it might be interesting to see what the most vile being on the planet is like, up close," I said looking over at Sesshomaru.

[Chibi-chan]

Sesshomaru didn't look too amused by Tach's little comment, but he managed somehow to restrain himself from needlessly attacking the half breed. It was rather strange of him not to get irritated by something like a half demon's disrespect.

I sat there for a moment longer with Sesshomaru not saying much of anything, finally I got to my feet tired of sitting there waiting for the idiot to say or do something.
"Well I am heading back to bed, but before I do...I just have one simple question that even you can understand. Why, why did you do it, I mean come on she was defensless. Just trying to defend me, so why," I asked calmy despite the subject matter.
"I dont know what you are talking about," Sesshomaru said walking off.
"Dont play dumb with me, you know what I am talking about. Why did you kill my mother," I shouted.
"Your mother, I never killed your mother," Sesshomaru said looking back at me.
"What...that can't be it was your damd sword I found laying next to her body," I yelled walking closer to him.
"I told you I didnt kill that women," Sesshomaru said as he walked off into the shadows.
Well this had gotten me a tad upset, how could he just deny that fact he murdered my mother. Unless of course he was telling the truth, but no thats impossible.

[Chibi-chan]

Siayaka stirred awake, blinking a little as she was looking at Tach's empty bed. Her eyes widening, she shot awake, staring at the empty bed for a moment. "Where did he go?!" she asked herself desperately, then picked up his scent not too far away. Well, he hadn't gone off too far, that was something that was good. However, she also caught Sesshomaru's scent...

I started to make my way back to the tent, a little angry and confused. I had no clue what to think about this whole things now, I still knew that Sesshomaru had to have killed my mother. But there was this small doubt that maybe he was telling the truth, that he wasnt the one who killed my mother.
"Than who the hell did," I mumbled to myself as I walked back to the tent.
When I flung the flap open and walked quietly inside, I took my sword out of my sash and set it down again. When I looked at where Saiyaka was sleeping I noticed she was awake.
"Sorry, didnt mean to wake you up," I said as I made my way back to bed.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka smiled some and shook her head. "It's quite alright. However," she said quietly, then glared. "You! You were around Sesshomaru again!" she accused. "Didn't I tell ya to leave him be? You said yourself that as long as you bruised his ego you wouldn't fight him anymore..."

"I didnt go to fight the guy, I mearly went over to see what the hell he was doing up so late. I swear that guy is an insomniac," I said resting my head on my pillow," The weird thing is I asked him why, why he killed my mother. And he had the gull to say that he wasnt the one who killed her, I mean its always a possibility but I am positive it was him."
I rolled over and shut my eyes, trying to fall asleep again...but I couldnt, I was thinking about my mother again. It was hard to sleep when I thought about it, but like all the times before I would fall asleep. Eventually.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka rolled her eyes as Tach said another insulting comment. Though she looked rather thoughtful when her lover said that Sesshomaru claimed he wasn't the one who killed Tach's mother.

Inuka floated around in circles happily. I was so glad I had my demon form back!

Lucky for me it was easy to fall back asleep again, and when the sun rose the next morning I really didnt want to wake up. But I started to hear the sounds of the soldiers getting ready to leave for the village. My eyes broke open slightly and I stired in my bed, trying to block out the noise. Of course that wasnt going to happen, and of course no one else but Inuyasha had the bright idea of coming to wake us up. I heard him as he flung the tent flap open and walked in.
"Hey Tach you going to sleep all day," Inuyasha said as he stopped right at my feet.
"I dunno I was thinking about it," I grumbled with my face in my pillow.
"Oh stop your moaning and get up allready," Inuyasha said as he turned and started to leave.
"Yeah yeah, I'll be there in a minute," I said waiving him out.

[Chibi-chan]

"Hn, your really don't have to listen to him," Saiyaka muttered, flopping the pillow over her face in order to hide from the light that Inuyasha was letting through by having the tent flap open. "Shut the flap, you moron!" she called out to the half breed.

Inuyasha snorted and walked out, I was kinda anoyed he woke me up like this. But I suppose I should get up anyways, I rolled over once more and sat up. Shippou and Kokoru were also still sleeping but they had been aroused by Inuyasha's nagging.
"Oh man we have to ride back to the village today, that means my father is going to meet Inuyasha and the others...and then I have to go all the way to the North moutain to see the old man. Oh this is going to be a long day," I said as I rubbed my eyes and started to stand up.
"The North moutain, what do you need to go there for," Kokoru asked me even though she was half asleep.
"I need to see the old man, he needs to take care of something for me," I said looking at where my arm stopped.

[Chibi-chan]

"Who's this old man that you're talking about?" Saiyaka asked, the pillow still over her face. "What the hell are you going to see him about?"

[Red Dragon]

Inuka woke with a start. "Seshomaru!" I shouted out from my sleep. He dove over looking for my attacker. I had dreamed that he had been consumed by a dark thunder cloud. I had been shapped like something, but I couldn't remember what. "Are you hurt?" he asked finally satisfied that there was no one near. "Yeah, just a bad dream" I said, a little shaken. I had dreamed of Fathers death too. Sesi knew of my fear.

"The old man, he's just an old friend of mine. And about the best blacksmith I have ever known, though he dosent reach the talent and skill of Totosai he still pretty damd good. That and he is known for more than just his sword," I said asI walked to a table and picked up my sword.
"No one knows his name, no one but master Tach but he never speaks of it. Like its a curse to even utter it," Kokoru said as she walked over next to Saiyaka.
"I told you I can't tell anyone his name, I am the only outsider he trusts and he was the one that took care of me for a short while after my mother died. When we go to see him probably the only people I can bring will be you, Saiyaka, and Inuyasha," I said to Kokoru.

[Chibi-chan]

"Yeah, well, we're not going to be bringing Inuyasha are we?" Saiyaka asked, groaning a little as she slowly lifted the pillow from off her face and stared at it for a minute before looking to Tach. "Please can we leave him here?"

[m1abrams]

"I know you dont particually get along with Inuyasha, but he deserves to come along. He has been my friend for many years, and I can't just keep leaving him behind. He will be joining us but I will have a talk with him before we go, that way he wont pester you," I said as I walked towards the flap.
"You sure about that, I mean its Inuyasha we are talking about here," Shippou said giving me the brow.
"Dont give me that look, Inuyasha can behave himself when he is asked too," I said as I glared at shippu.

[Chibi-chan]

"Only if Kagome tells him to behave," Saiyaka muttered, rolling her eyes a little. "And Kagome isn't going to be around, now is she? Well if I have to put up with the mutt, then I suppose that I will as long as he doesn't act like a moron!"

[m1abrams]

"I suppose Kagome could come, if it would make you feel a little better. Its just that the old man isnt used to alot of people, so if we all went it could cause some problems...however if we left some people behind while just me and you went in that would be fine too," I said pondering the idea.
"I dont see why you have to think about it so much, just let everyone come and then just you go up into the cave. Its not that difficult," Kokoru said as she walked passed me.
"Will you lay off allready its hard for me to think this much first thing in the morning," I shouted a tad anoyed.

[Chibi-chan]

"Oh, I don't mind if Kagome comes or not...I'm just worried about having it murder Inuyasha," Saiyaka stated, grinning a little to show that she was only kidding. At least teasing a little bit.

"Dont worry you wont have to murder him, I will be the one doing the murdering if he acts up," I said as I walked out of the tent.
When I walked out it was a brisk morning, kinda chilly out actually, it must be getting that time of year again. The fall was coming wich means the winter wasnt far off, these mountinous areas have been known to have bad winters. As I thought more about winter, Inuyaha who had been waiting paciantly for me outside the tent. Had heard just about everything we said.
"You know, if you dont want me to bug her just say so," Inuyasha said startling me some.
"I've tried that and it didnt seem to get anywhere," I grumbled look back at him.
"Well you have never asked nicely or seriously enough," Inuyasha said getting to his feet.
"Well I am asking nicly and serious now, please stop pestering Saiyaka. I am sure if you two just stopped buging the hell out of eachother so much you would get along fine," I said as I started to walk beside him.

[Chibi-chan]

"Sometimes you shouldn't need to be asked nicely, you should just do it," Saiyaka muttered, comming out of the tent, though she still had a blanket wrapped around her. "I hate the cold," she muttered under her breath, not looking all that happy.

"She does have a point," Shippou said fallowing close behind.
"Quite Shippou no body asked you," Inuyasha shouted.
I shook my head as Inuyasha made a stupid face and Shippou and Shippou glady made one back. Children they were like children, though technically Shippou was a child. I shook my head one last time and turned around, looking out at the soldiers as the ran around picking up tents and other items.
"Well I guess its time to go, we have hung around here long enough," I said more than ready to leave.

[Chibi-chan]

"Yes, let us go," Saiyaka said with a smile, closing her eyes for a moment as she discarded the blanket. The last thing she wanted to do was drag it around and have Inuyasha call her a whimp because she couldn't handle the cold.

I walked out a little more and looked around, Keisou had to be around here somewhere. I mean he is never to far away, he is such a suck up that he would never miss a chance to do something for me.
"Keisou, where on earth are ya," I yelled out in an attempt to find him.
"Right here boss," Keisou said poking his head out of the crowd.
"Mount everyone up, we are leaving in 5 minutes," I yelled over to him.
"5 minutes, we will need atleast 10 to get all the tents packed up and loaded," Keisou yelled back.
"Than hurry up, I dont want to be here all day," I said as I turned around.
I walked back over to Inuyasha and sighed.
"Whats your problem," he asked.
"Don't worry Inuyasha, you will know soon enough...once you take command that is," I said as I patted him on the shoulder and walked towards Saiyaka.

[Red Dragon]

Inuka had eaten breakfast and wandered around the camp looking at the horses, with thier feeble legs. I liked thier pretty eyes but in battle? A horse was a wast of food other than a pet. All of a sudden I heard the most terrifying words I had even heard. 'Inuyasha' and 'in charge' used in the same sentence with out the 'not'. "What?!" I shouted springing over to him. He was grinning at the soldiers, already thinking of all the things he could make them do no dought.
"You heard him, I'm in charge." he said poking me in the nose. "Since when?" I said grabbing his nose.

[Chibi-chan]

"Inuyasha in charge of something...A nightmare...Pure nightmare! There's no other word to describe it! If he was ever in charge of me, I'd be in hell. Burning flesh, fire and brimstone...the works!" Saiyaka stated, shaking her head a little bit.

[m1abrams]

"Calm down you two he isnt in charge untill we get back to the village. Anyways he has me as an advisor so we can make better decisions on things, besides I dont think Inuyasha would be that bad of a leader. I think you are underestimating Inuyasha greatly," I said as Inuyasha leaned closer to me
"Thanks, but I dont think they bought it," Inuyasha said in a very sarcastic tone.
"What was your first clue, hopefully Kagome will be more understaning...I mean she is your mate so why wouldnt she," I said patting Inuyasha on the back.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka laughed a little and shook her head some. No, she most definately hadn't bought into that little speach that had tried to make Inuyasha look good. She didn't think that anything would make the mutt look good at all. "Yeah, I'm sure you're lover will support you!" she laughed.

Inuyasha went all red in the face, and you could tell he was angry at the same time.
"Will you stop saying that," Inuyasha snapped as Saiyaka laughed.
"Inuyasha she is only stating a fact, you and Kagome are lovers," I said shruging my shoulders.
Right as I said that Kagome had just come around the corner, she also had heard the comment and went red in the face. Now I started to laugh becuase both of them looked so embarressed, even though they shouldnt be. I started to tip over so I caught myself by grabbing Inuyasha's shoulder, I was finding this all rather amusing.
"Come on now you two, you should act like its a shameful thing. Me and Saiyaka can easily admit our love for one another, so it shouldnt be that hard for you," I said still laughing.
"Yeah but..."
"No but's Inuyasha, you and I are going to need to have a talk on the way back to my village. So something like this wont ever happen again," I said still laughing as I walked away.

[Isunamaru]

i leapt out of the tree i had been sleeping in and started to follow the now moving army.....finding Inuka i asked her what was going on....

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka couldn't help but laugh harder, shaking her head as she looked at Kagome and Inuyasha. It was quite fun to kid around with them, and the brilliant shades of red that those two went were the greatest. She could poke fun at them all day if she was actually given the chance.

I still couldt help but laugh at Inuyasha's and Kagomes reaction, it was rather funny. But I needed to get everyone together now, it was about time to leave and I should actually inform everyone of how things got to be the way they are now. I walked off away's before I found Sango, Miroku, and Kohaku. They were sitting just outside the tent they had slept in and watching Kohaku play around with his weapon.
"Careful now squirt, you dont want to hurt yourself," I said as I approched them.
"I can handle my weapon just fine," Kohaku said giving me the eye ball.
"Dont worry I have complete faith in you, just dont drop it on my foot okay," I said with a slight laugh.

[Chibi-chan]

"He might just accidently do that if you don't stop bugging him about it," Saiyaka muttered under her breath, smirking a little bit.

"I heard that," I mumbled looking back at Saiyaka.
"I think she meant for you to hear that," Kokoru said also giving me an odd look.
I grumbled for a second, not sure what the hell she was getting at. She had been giving me an odd look all morning and it was starting to get on my nervs.
"Allright what is it," I asked her.
"Whats what," She said being a smartass.
"You know very well what, you have been giving me a strange look all morning now what is it," I yelled at her.
"Oh that, its just I remembered something...that you didnt," Kokoru said as she walked off.
"And what might that be," I grumbled.
"I wont tell you, you of all people should remember what today is. And its hurts me that you dont," Kokoru said as she walked off with Shippou not far behind.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka blinked a little bit, tilting her head to the side as she looked at Kokoru. "...Is today her birthday or something? She seems mad that you're forgetting something or another," she stated, glancing to Tach now. "If it is and you forgot, you should be smacked," she added after a moment, giving him a slight glare.

"Oh son of a...."
Miroku tossed a rock and it his me square in the forhead, stopping me right in the middle of my statement.
"Not around the boy, now you were saying," Miroku said glancing towards Kohaku.
"It's her birthday, I compleatly forgot that it was her birthday today," I siad rubbing my forhead.
"You mean you forgot her own birthday, thats horrible," Kagome said giving me a scolding look.
"Hey its not like I meant to forget, its just I have been a tad bit busy lately," I said looking at Kagome.
"A likely excuse," Inuyasha said folding his arms.
"You should talk, you probably wouldnt even remember your own birthday," I grumbled at Inuyasha.

Saiyaka growled a little and held the dreaded stone between her fingers. "Tach...Sit!" she hissed. She sort of winced when she heard the sound of Tach's body smacking hard against the ground, but scolded him nonetheless. "You careless idiot!" she muttered, shaking her head. "You know how much that probably hurts her?!" she asked, crossing her arms. "Hell, I didn't even know it was her birthday and I reminded you? That's just sad..."

Inuka turned to Azus. "I guess the idiot is running the army." I said glancing over at Inuyasha who stormed toward me. I gave Seshomaru a look telling him that I could handle this one. "Like a girl would know how to run an army!" he growled at me tackling me to the gorund. I flew out from under him before we hit the ground and sat on top of him. I looked around grinning. Every girl within hearing distance glared at him. Kagome walked up to him and looked down at him. "Inuka, I'll let you punish him this time." she said giving me a sweet smile and handing me a muffin that she had produced form her bag.
I munched on the muffin as Inuyasha slowly lifted himself and me up. He looked at Kagome. "What do you mean by that?" he muttered scowling at me. He didn't think I would do anything to him. I gave him a reassuring look, 'you're dead wrong' is what it said. He flung himself up and spun in the air to face me. To bad I was already off and hovering above him, with a FRYING PAN! *dun, Dun Dun*!
I chased him around hitting him with the frying pan until everyone had quit laughing. He sprung in to the air to drag me back to the ground but missed. He grinned, no dought thinking of some evil sceame to bring me down. He lept in to the air chucking rocks at me and as I dodged grabbed my leg. "ouch!" I said noting the claws in my leg. Kagome walked calmly over and I kicked him off. "Inuyasha. Sit boy!" she said. He hit the ground HARD. "You shouldn't hit girls" Sango called. "They fight back." she said grinning.

"This is starting out to be quite the morning," I said to Inuyasha as we both lay there our faces in the dirt.
"Yeah...right," Inuyasha said dazed.
I pulled myself out of the ground and stod up, a little dizy at first I helped Inuyasha up and we both proceeded to spit the mass amount of dirt and rock that got into our mouths.
"I vote we figure out a way to stop this whole sit business," I said as I looked over at Inuyasha who was still whiping himself off.
Inuyasha just nodded and finished whiping himself off, while I started to figure out how I was going to apologize to Kokoru. I knew when her birthday was of course, I just forgot today was that day.
"Oh she is going to be mad at me for awhile now, I dont even know what I am going to give her," I said scratching the back of my head.
