OOC: I just realized that I never answered your suggestion of getting rid of Kikyou in the RP...I am all for it! *ish a pure Kikyou hater*

Saiyaka was practically wandering around at random, not really paying attention to much of anything at all except how ruined her life was. She had never really taken time to think about it, but now that she caught herself licking away human blood from her blade, she questioned it now. "I'm just another blood thirsty demon," she mumbled.

"Actually, you're many demons, aren't you?" a rather cold voice asked. "Though I suppose that it wasn't really your decision was it? Your father was the one who decided your fate when he allowed the demons to devour his body."

(OOC: Sweet, I cannot wait to get rid of her, but I have to say I think we should wait a little while first. We should have her do something so horrible to Kagome (Outside of killing her) That even Inuyasha would want to kill Kikyou. We can have encounters with her before that, but we should wait just a little while longer, let all the events fall into place first. And find a spot to stick her demise in)

When we came back to the clearing, everyone was awake now, Kagome was sitting there on the ground, still feeling some of the effects of the poison. Inuyasha saw Kagome and went right to her.
"Kagome are you allright," Inuyasha said kneeling down next to her.
"Yeah I'm fine, thanks," Kagome said smiling.
While the others all recovered, I turned around walked back into the forest, this whole mess was still buging the hell out of me. And now I couldnt find Saiyaka, the smoke from the burning village made it almost impossible to smell anything anymore. So finding Saiyaka was not going to be a walk in the park.
"Damit Saiyaka...where did you wonder off too, I hope your allright," I said walking further into the woods.

(( Yes, I'm not planning on getting rid of her right away...That wouldn't be cool, even if it is Kikyou we're talking about :laugh: ))

Saiyaka turned some, scowling a bit as she saw the woman that had caused Onigumo's death. At least, that's the way that she saw things. If it weren't for her, her father probably wouldn't have ended up the way that he did. "What the hell do you want, you damned priestess?!"

"Don't be so cross with me...It was your father who sent that man out to kill me. Which led to that unfortunate string of events," Kikyou said to Saiyaka, smiling a bit. "I didn't do anything to deserve your hate."

"If you weren't around, he probably would have been fine," Saiyaka hissed. "He wouldn't have been burned nearly to death, and I wouldn't have died at the young age that I did," she scowled, crossing her arms. "If he didn't fall in love with you, he wouldn't have become...him..." she ended, not willing to say Naraku's name at the moment.

Kikyou laughed, rather coldly, then glanced towards the village that Saiyaka had set on fire. "I'm surprised that you used fire," she smirked. "You're terrified of it, after all..."

I walked around the forest, still confused as hell as to where Saiyaka went. The smell of smoke was still to strong for me to pick up her scent, I was starting to get really anoyed by this. I was ready to give up, but just as I was about to give up, I noticed a strange glow just ahead of me.
"What the hell is that," I said to myself a little confused.
I jumped up onto of one of the nearby tree's and caught sight of who was making the glow.
"But thats...the dead priestess Kikyou. What is she doing here," I said rather surprised.

[Chibi-chan]

"That happens to be none of your business!" Saiyaka hissed, trying to restrain herself from attacking Kikyou. The half demon knew all too well that the priestess would be able to take her down, no matter how strong she was. "Why did you come here, anyway?!"

"I just wanted to see the daughter of my killer, that is all," Kikyou said, still smiling, though there was no trace of warmth in that smile. There was only mockery that she held.

"I dont like this, why is that women here. And what business could she have with Saiyaka," I said outloud to myself still rather confused by Kikyous appearance.
I sat there and pondered this for a moment, but I was still more concerned about other things at the moment. Like should I approch them or not, part of me said I shouldnt, while the other half strongly urged me too. I pondered my possibilities. But the look on that womens face, I didnt like it.
"Damd...maybe I should go back and get Inuyasha," I said to myself.
No that wouldnt be a great idea, who knows how Inuyasha would react, and what about Kagome, I am sure Kikyou coming back into the mix wouldnt help things much. One of Kikyous soul skimers poped up behind me as I thought to myself, it was watching me and when I realized it, I was not to pleased.
"Get away from me you stupid bug," I said slashing at it with my claws.
The soul skimmer fell to the ground, I had sliced it in two...well I am pretty sure they know I am here now.

Saiyaka opened her mouth, ready to tell Kikyou to go and do something that was highly inappropriate to say, but she wasn't able to when she saw Kikyou draw an arrow from her quiver and fit it into the bow string, aiming it at the trees. Her eyes widened as she picked up Tach's scent at that moment. "Don't shoot!" she hissed at Kikyou.

Kikyou paid no mind to Saiyaka as she drew back on the bow and let go, seending her purification arrow right at Tach. "Die, demon!" she hissed, watching the purple lighted arrow fly towards him.

Saiyaka, knowing that Kikyou wouldn't listen to her, had been ready for the arrow to be released, and had run for Tach. However, she saw that she didn't have time to get him out of the way. Instead, she jumped up on a branch that was just before where Tach was, moments before the arrow would hit him. Blood splattered as the arrow landed dead on, just above Saiyaka's heart. With a shaking hand, the half demon pulled out the arrow, smiled, then feel from the tree and to the ground.

Kikyou stood there for a moment, just looking at what had happened. Even after she had caught hold of what had happened, she paid no mind to it and continued on her way, the soul skimmers following after Kikyou.

I looked down at Saiyaka in pure shock, for a moment I couldnt even move, but then when my brain finally registered all of what just happened. I jumped down from the tree and landed right next to her. I kneeled down and put my hand over the wound to stop the bleeding before it got anyworse.
"Saiyaka, you fool what did you go and do that for," I said as my eyes quivered," Why did you jump infront of the arrow like that."
When I pushed harder down on her wound harder, a small amount of blood spurted out onto the ground next to me. Why...why did this happen...

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka looked at him, her eyes slightly glazed over with a dazed look on her face. "...It's called...protecting you..." she managed to say after a moment. Her vision was starting to get a little blurry as she tried to focus on Tach, but her eyes were slowly closing. "She could have...killed you..."

"But if you die then whats the point of living," I yelled.
I was angry at her for doing that, I couldnt let her die like this...I wasnt going to let it happen.
I reached underneither her and used my arms to support her as I lifted. She seemed almost limp, I turned around and started to run as fast as I could with her in my arms. This whole time my own wounds had chosen to remain scilent, that was untill now, I could feel it reopening as I carried her back to the others. Our blood mixed together on the ground as I ran, not caring for anything else.
"Hang on Saiyaka, dont you die on me now," I said as dogging trees as I ran.

Kagome was the one who first caught sight of them, having sensed Saiyaka's jewel shard. When she saw the condition that the two of them were in, she immediately got her medical kit out of her backpack and ran over to them. "What happened?!" she asked. However, she had a feeling that she knew as soon as she saw that it was an arrow wound that had given Saiyaka her injury.

I put Saiyaka down on the ground right infront of Kagome, the others all got to their feet and ran over. Sango kneeled down next to Kagome and looked at the wound, the arrow had gone in deep.
"But how did an arrow do this, I thought only sacred arrows could hurt a demon," Sango said looking up at me.
"Thats becuase it was a sacred arrow," I said holding my stumache.
"That's impossible, the only one here who can use sacred arrows is Kagome and she has been right here this whole time," Miroku said looking at everyone.
I looked down at Saiyaka, Kagome didnt really know what to do with this kind of wound, it was really deep. And becuase it was made my a sacred arrow, it wouldnt heal as fast as mine did. But then again, I had re opened my wound and was bleeding again. I sat down on the ground and looked over at Saiyaka, she was still out.
"Tach who did this," Inuyasha asked me.
"It was...Kikyou," I said not taking my gaze of Saiyaka for an instant.

Saiyaka's breathing was becomming quite rapid, her breathing quick and shallow. The wound wasn't in the best of places. If it wasn't treated quickly, the chance of her survival was quite low. Blood was pooling quickly around her, blood trickling from the side of her mouth.

Kagome bit her lip and closed her eyes, knowing that it was Kikyou who had done it before Tach had even said anything. "I see," she said, trying to stop the wound from bleeding. "I don't think my medical kit is going to be any help," she whispered, looking at Saiyaka.

"What...ki..kikyou," Inuyasha said his eyes getting wide.
"Yes, she had confronted Saiyaka in the woods, and when I killed one of her soul skimmers, she launched an arrow at me, but Saiyaka jumped infront of it," I said lowering my head.
"So the arrow wasnt aimed at her, but at you," Sango said a little surprised.
"Yeah...which is why I am not going to let Saiyaka die becuase of me," I said reaching behind my back.
I pulled out the last of my explosive balls, I grabbed the little nub were the wick came out and I broke it off. I poured out a small amount of the black powder that was inside. I reached over and put it on top of Saiyaka's wounds.
"Gun powder, but where did you get that," Kagome asked looking up at me.
"It dosent matter, but the only way to get this wound to heal up, is to burn it shut," I said puting the wick against the gun powder.
I reached behind my back and pulled out a small rock, when I put it over the wick I sqeezed it and pulled back quickly, it lit the fuse and then the gun powder. It burned fast and hot. When it was done burning, I poured a small amount of water over it to clean it up. The wound had been sealed by the flame.
"Good, the bleeding will stop, now we need to...let her...rest," I said as I started to blank out.
I fell out of consiousness and fell forward ontop of Saiyaka, I had lost to much blood yet again.

BIC: Shuto was relieved that they Siayaka was now healed. But just when all seemed better, Tach colapsed. "Geez!" the others gasped. With all the blood spilled no one could tell that Tach was bleeding. "Kagome..." Everyone helped out and Kagome began to treat his wounds.

OOC: I didn't want to go anyfurther, I wasn't sure how badly you were damaged so... ya.

Saiyaka let out a gasp as she felt the slight burning of her wound. As she was out cold, the unwanted memories of her past life flashed back to her and she was reliving everything that she didn't want to. Flames...So many flames, and it was so very hot. There was screaming...Her screams from fifty years ago. When she felt Tach fall on top of her, she thought of the rafter that had fallen on her, forcing her to be trapped in that burning building as she heard other screams.

"I dont think I have ever seen that much blood before," Shippou siad a little grossed out by all the blood on the ground.
Kagome, Sango, and even Miroku and Inuyasha had blood on their hands, they had all tried to help, and in the end my bleeding had stopped, as had Saiyaka's. We both lay on the ground side by side. I was the first one to crack open an eye, I was still dizzy and couldnt move becuase of all the blood loss. I turned my head and looked at Saiyaka, but before I could say anything, the others started talking.
"Man what a day this has been," Kagome said kneeling infront of a pale of water cleaning her hands.
"You can say that again," Sango said also whipping her hands off.
"Hey Inuyasha, you allright," Kagome asked.
"Yeah I'm fine," Inuyasha said in his usual grumpy tone.
"Well that answers one question, but I still can't understand why Kikyou would just attack them like that," Kagome said looking back over at me and Saiyaka," Hey Tach is awake."

[Chibi-chan]

Shippo looked over at Tach, his little fox tail waving around. "Glad you're up!" he said, then blinked and looked at Saiyaka. "Hmm? Hey, Inuyasha?" he said, frowning a little and hopping over by her head. "Can you hear what she's saying?" he asked.

Saiyaka, though not consious at the moment, was moving her lips, talking in her sleep. Tears suddenly began to run down her cheeks slowly. She was still remembering that horrible night.

Inuyasha glared at Shippo, looking ready to pound him for having interrupted his thoughts, but blinked when he looked over at Saiyaka. His ears twitched some then he gave an uncaring shrug. "Pah...Something about being too hot...And about her old man..." he muttered, crossing his arms over his chest. "Nuthin important..."

I slowly leaned forward, Shippou hoping back onto the ground, I held my stumach, still in some pain, but not enough to keep me from moving around.
"Hey, nice to see you finally decided to wake up," Inuyasha said looking over at me with one eye.
"How long have I been out," I asked still a little grogy.
"A good few hours, its allready morning," he said a little grumpy.
"Morning...how is Saiyaka," I asked.
"Look for yourself, she is fine. But she has been talking and crying in her sleep all night," Inuyasha said looking next to me at Saiyaka.
I looked beside me at Saiyaka, the tears on her cheak had not had a chance to dry all night. I reached over and put my hand on her's, to see if maybe she would wake up.
"Hey Saiyaka," I said shaking her hand a little.

[Chibi-chan]

It took a long while for Saiyaka to actually wake up. Her eyes opened the minute that Tach shook her, but she looked like she was still alseep, somehow lost within herself. As soon as she got her senses back, she brought her knees up to her chest, burrying her face in them. "I didn't want to remember," she whispered.

Sango frowned a little and placed a hand on Saiyaka's shoulder. "What didn't you want to remember?" she asked softly.

Well, if she doesn't want to remember, she probably doesn't want to say what it is," Shippo said, blinking a little. He had gotten a lolipop from Kagome's bag and was licking at it, watching Saiyaka a little.

She was dreaming...the whole time she was asleep she must have been dreaming. I wanted to reach over to here to comfort her, but something stopped me. I pulled my hand back and put it on the ground. I slowly leaned forward and got to my feet, Inuyasha quickly looked at me as I got up, just to make sure I didnt fall on my butt again. When I was all the way up, I reached my hand down to Saiyaka and looked at her.
"Saiyaka, do you feel well enough to take a quick walk with me," I asked her.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka looked up at Tach, a few tears still building up in her eyes. She nodded after a moment, then looked at her hand, seeing that she was unknowingly clutching onto it like a terrified little child. She sighed and let go, getting to her feet, then she frowned and seemed to check her skin, as if knowing that something was there, but she couldn't find it. She then shook her head to get whatever thought was still lingering out.

The forest was quite now, there was no more smoke coming from the village and everything seemed peacful. I stod there, looking out at a large field, the others had left me and Saiyaka alone, instead of us having to walk around and risk getting hurt again. I looked over at Saiyaka, trying to find the exact words to say.
"Saiyaka...are you going to be okay now," I said.
That was all I could say, the real things I wanted to say werent coming out. I clentched my fists.
"I'm sorry...that arrow should have hit me instead of you," I said letting a single tear role down from my eyes.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka looked at Tach and nodded some, answering his first question. "I'm fine," she answered. "Just...Bad memories...My wound is fine as well," she told him, then frowned when he began to blame himself. She reached over to his face and caught the tear on her finger, taking it away from his cheek. "Tach...That arrow was ment for you, that's right...That's why I got in front of it," she told him, shaking her head. "If it had hit you, that arrow would have probably killed you!"

I let Saiyaka's words soak in, it was still hard for me to beleive I had even let that arrow hit her. I knew I shouldnt be blaming myself, but I felt responsible for her pain. She was too important to me now, I could not just let this happen again.
"Saiyaka...I have to ask you something?" I said a smile coming across my face," I care for you alot, and I know that you are strong, probably even stronger than me. But I still feel I need to ask you this, will you allow me to stay by your side untill this is over. I know you are still unsure of what you are going to do after we rescue Kokaku but...untill then, I wish to remain at your side."
Okay so I said it, its not like I was proposing or anything but dang its hard to ask someone that question. I was asking her something that many demons I knew would kill you for asking them. Wanting to stay by their side and protect them was something not many demons are willing to allow.

[Chibi-chan]

Blush began to creep slowly to Saiyaka's face and she quickly looked away, a small smile playing around on her mouth. "Tach, you want to stay by me...only until we're done with what we've set out to do?" she asked. She looked back at him and smiled a little, seeming a bit saddened that he had said 'until' it was over. She shook her head some, "Nevermind...I have no objection to it, I suppose," she said, closing her eyes. "Just as long as you don't get hurt being with me," she told him.

A small smile was there across my face, I could see Saiyaka blushing and the smile on her face.
"You don't have to worry about me, I think I can take care of myself," I said still smiling.
My hand started to reach out to Saiyaka, as to put it around her, but before I could get any closer I herd something in the bushes.
"Inuyasha you idiot be quite they will hear us," I heard Kagome wisper.
"What it wasnt me, it was Shippou," Inuyasha wispered back.
"It was not," Shippou shouted.
"Will you three please be quite before they hear us," Miroku said in an anoyed tone.
"Before who hears you," I asked from behind the group as one of my ears twitched.
Everyone spun around and looked at me, they all gave a guilty smile and laugh and started to slink away. They all quickly ran off into the distance as I glared at them.
"Seriously now, can't anyone every get any privacy around here," I said folding my arms and hufing.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka was giving death looks towards the bushes, her eyes narrowed. "I should beat every last one of you," she hissed, restraining herself from actually doing so. She looked back at Tach and laughed a little bit, scratching the back of her head slightly. "So, Tach thinks that he can tack care of himself?" she asked, eying his wound. "If you could take care of yourself, you wouldn't have gotten so badly injured," she told him teasingly.

She smiled some more and looked at where her wound used to be, touching it gently. "...You healed me, didn't you?" she asked. "You used up a lot of energy, too...It was you who collapsed on me, right?" she questioned.

I looked at where Saiyaka was touching her wound, the burn mark almost not even visible anymore. I was glad you couldnt see it all that well.
"Yeah that was me, I had tried to fall over in a different direction, I am sure you didnt want me ontop of you like that," I said rubbing the back of my head," When I used the powder to heal your wound, it didnt hurt did it."
I had changed my tone slightly when I asked her this, I was hoping since she was out cold, that she wouldnt have felt it.

[Chibi-chan]

"I see I don't mind you falling on me, it's just that -," she sighed and stopped what she was going to say, then decided to answer Tach's question. "...Yes, I'm afraid that I did feel it, though it really didn't hurt all that much...Though it kind of triggered some memories that I would rather not have wanted," she murmured.

"I'm sure that I was talking in my sleep," she added, sighing. "I do it all the time when I re-live a memory," she told him, looking a little upset at the fact that she probably said things that weren't supposed to be heard

I saw Saiyaka's mood change when she brought up talking in her sleep. I didnt want her to get all upset again...oh crap what was I going to do...what was I going to say so these bad memories of her's werent dragged up all over again. I knew all to well what it was like to try and forget something...better find something to say quickly.
"Saiyaka dont get upset again...I mean...will you have my children..."
Oh crap did I just say that, that's what Miroku said back when we were riding in to town. The thought of the beating he got from it just made me shiver.
"Umm wait I didnt mean to ah...." I said unable to finish my statement becuase I was so nervous.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka stopped dead in her tracks as Tach said this, just seeming frozen in time for the longest moment, starring at him. Her face was becomming redder than a beat, and her mouth opened and closed as she tried to find her voice. This had taken her by surprise in a way that she never expected that she would. "Ch-children?" was all she managed to get out of her mouth as she gapped at him. Has he...Gone mental? Why the hell did he just ask me such a thing?!

Seraph and I giggled behind the bushes. These two were so cute as a couple. I slung an arm around Seraph and continued watching Saiyaka and Tach. Seraph snuggled closer and smiled sweetly at me. I turned bright red and pretended I didn't see that.
"They make a cute couple, yeah Saphy?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. Seraph grinned and nodded. "Of course they make a good couple, my dear, Ashke! Just look at them!" He pointed at them and made a face. I chuckled and smirked. "Yeah, I noticed, Saphy. I really noticed..." I trailed off staring at the couple when an idea hit me. "When the hell is their marriage gonna be??"

"NO NO!! I dont want to have children, well no I do...but not for a long time. I didnt mean to ask you that question just yet!" I said as I waived my hands frantically in the air.
I cannot belive I just said that, and now I was confusing myself even more. Oh man I can only imagine the wrath I am about to receive from Saiyaka from my comments. I best be coming up with a good explination.
"Okay I gather you are going to want a pretty good explanation for that huh," I said trying to laugh.
Yeah I'm doomed

Saiyaka, however, was clutching her sides, laughing so hard that tears were comming to her eyes. "Calm down, Tach!" she managed to gasp out, laughing still. The way he was starting to panic amused Saiyaka quite a bit. "I think...I think that Miroku's way of thinking has brushed off on you!" she laughed.

I sat there for a moment and watched Saiyaka laugh...thank god she was laughing and not beating the ever living daylights out of me. But when she said Miroku was starting to rub off on me, I could help but start to laugh ither.
"Yeah I guess your right," I said laughing.
I sat down on a tree stump that was just next to Saiyaka and I just smiled. This hole incident was turning out allright after all. Even though we were all attacked and Saiyaka was injured, it all seemed to be returning to normal now.
"How about we go find the others and get going," I asked Saiyaka looked over at her.

Saiyaka nodded, then glanced towards the bushes where Inuyasha and the boys had been spying. "Hmm...I expected this from the boys, not from you two!" she said, smirking. "I know that you're there Kagome...You, too, Sango!"

Kagome began to laugh, and she stood up from where she was crouching, scratching the back of her head and trying to look innocent. "Sorry, we kind of got...lost and we heard you two?" she tried, hoping that the pitiful excuse would work.

Sango looked at Kagome and shook her head some, "That was a nice try, Kagome," she said, then looked at Saiyaka. "Well now...I'm surprised you didn't clobber him..."

(OOC: Okay I posted this last night but for some reason the forum thinks that you Chibi-chan were the last to reply at 3:07 yesterday, maybe this edit will help. But I dunno)

A few moments later, we were all on our way again. After Sango and Kagome skillfully explained themselvs to Saiyaka when they were spying on us. We headed out for our destination, where ever that was. I knew Saiyaka allready had a pretty good idea of where Naraku's castle was, but I wasnt going to bring him up again for awhile. I walked up next to Inuyasha who had taken his usually place at the front of the group.
"So Inuyasha, where are we headed," I asked him.
"That way," Inuyasha sida pointing infront of us.
"Well no crap tell me something I dont know," I said a little anoyed.
"I dont know okay...I am still trying to find a hint of Naraku's sent so get off my case allready will ya," Inuyasha snapped.
I backed off from Inuyasha and walked back next to Saiyaka.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka laughed at Inuyasha's stupidity, shaking her head a bit. "Inuyasha...You're not really all that bright, are you?" she asked him, waiting for him to yell at her.

Inuyasha spun around at faced Saiyaka, glaring at her. "What's that supposed to mean?!" he asked, going into a fighting stance. "You trying to start a fight or something?!" he challenged.

Kagome glanced back at Saiyaka and Inuyasha, shaking her head some. "Inuyasha...Sit, boy!" she said, causing Inuyasha to get a face full of dirt. "You don't have to make a big deal over somebody calling you stupid!"

Saiyaka rolled her eyes and began to explain things to Inuyasha. "The reason you're suck an idiot is beacuse you seem to forget that you don't need Naraku's scent in order to find his castle...I'm his incarnation, remember?"
Inuyasha, who had managed to get his face off from the ground, looked at Saiyaka and blinked. "Hey...You're right! You can just tell us where the castle is!" he said.

"Oh well that solves one problem," Sango said as she walked next to Miroku.
"Yeah but we still dont know how we are going to free Kohaku from Naraku's grasp, unless you know how to do that as well Saiyaka," Miroku said looking at Saiyaka.
"Even I can answer that one Miroku," I said rather confident in myself.
"Really now, then would you care to explain to us how," Miroku asked.
I spun around and looked at Miroku while I continued to walk backwards. I had this all worked out.
"Okay so we take the castle from all sides, lure out Kagura and any other demon Naraku has hiding around, and have you and Sango keep them busy," I said to Miroku," Then while you have them busy, we will use Kagome and Saiyaka as bait for Naraku to come out and get the jewl shards that Kagome carries, and to get Saiyaka back. Then Inuyasha jumps in and takes care of Naraku, while I run in and grab the kid. Well what do you all think of that."
"Hey what do you mean use us as Bait," Kagome said pearing over my shoulder.
I got a really cold star from Kagome and Inuyasha, I dont think either of them really liked the idea of me using Kagome as bait. I am sure Saiyaka didnt like that idea to much either.

"Tach..." Saiyaka said softly, looking at him with a sad smile. "You do realize that I may not be able to follow through with that plan, don't you?" she asked, shaking her head. "You know that I probably won't be able to allow Inuyasha to destroy -" she began, but Inuyasha cut her off.

"What, you're going to be able to stop me from killing Naraku?" Inuyasha asked, barking out a laugh at the thought of this. "There's no way that I'd be stopped by the likes of you!" he stated, looking at her as he flexed his claws. "Nobody can stop me from writing him off!"

The little hairs on the back of my neck stuck up when Inuyasha started with his ranting. I knew this was not going to end well if I didnt do something, plus it kinda ticked me off that he was being so blunt about the subject.
"Inuyasha...come with me," I said as I grabbed onto his color and dragging him off around a small hill.
"Hey where the heck are you taking me," Inuyasha said as he strugled.
"Just shut up and listen to me for a second," I said rather seriously.
Inuyasha shut up after realizing I was serious about this, he sat down on the ground and let me talk.
"Inuyasha, I know that you have been trying to kill Naraku for some time now. And I am very well aware of what he did to you 50 years ago. But just for this once, use your head. Saiyaka is allready confused enough about this, its hard enough for her to be defying her father by being with us, thats why when we do attack Naraku's castle, it will be to get Sagno's brother and thats all," I said as I stod infront of Inuyasha.
"But why, why should we skip over the perfect opertunity to get rid of Naraku once and for all," Inuyasha shouted back.
"Becuase Inuyasha, we owe it to Saiyaka, she has allready said that she would show us the way to the castle. And thats more than we could ever ask from her, so unless she changes her mind about this, we are not going to kill Naraku and that is finall. Maybe when this is all over, and we have Kohaku back. Then we can kill Naraku, I just need time to talk with Saiyaka about it. He may be Naraku, but he is still her father, and you are just going to have to accept that," I said as I walked back to the others.

Saiyaka looked at Tach, then at Inuyasha, sighing a little and shaking her head. Inuyasha was sending her death looks, which she decided to ignore. Scratching the back of her head, she began to head in the direction of Naraku's castle, not saying another word to her friends. I'm not much help to them, really, Saiyaka thought to herself, sighing. They're all expecting me to show them the way so that they can kill Naraku, but I can't allow that...My father's heart still resides in Naraku's body!

Inuyasha kept staring at me the for the rest of the day, and it wasnt a happy look either. He was not exactly happy with me, not after my little talk with him. I dont blame him, I wanted to get rid of Naraku as much as he did, but for Saiyaka's sake I was going to let him go, this time.
"Maybe she will change her mind," I said outloud to myself.
"Who will change their mind," Kokoru said appearing on my shoulder.
"Oh nothing, I was just talking to myself," I siad scratching my nose.
"Sure, I bet your thinking about Saiyaka," Shippou said appearing on my other shoulder.
"Yeah, you two are together now arent you," Kokoru said as they smirked at me from both sides.
"Will you two knock it off," I said as I knocked them both in the head.
Kokoru and Shippou fell off my shoulders and onto the ground, the continued to fallow and run around me in circles.
"You like Saiyaka, you like Saiyaka," the both chanted togther and they ran around my feet.
I clentched my fists and a large vain poped out the side of my head. Everyone looked around at me expecting me to hit them or something. But to everyone surprise, I just signed and unclentched my fists.
"Yeah your right you got me," I said with an abonormally large smile on my face," Infact I like her alot, almost as much as you two like eachother."
Shippou and Kokoru's faces went red and they kinda looked around at everyone else, no one really knew wich was more interesting, my statement about me and Saiyaka, or the one about them.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka, now used to these comments so that she no longer blushed, looked over at Tach, Shippo, and Kokoru. "Careful, Tach...It may be that they really don't like each other the way that you think...Then your saying would be inaccurate," she said softly, then turned back towards the direction that she was going. "...Naraku may fight back, so why don't Shippo and Kokoru stay behind?" she asked out of nowhere after a few minutes fo thinking.

"Stay behind and leave Master Tach, never," Kokoru said bravely.
"I'm not staying behind either, I want to stay here with koko...I mean you guys," Shippou also yelled out.
"Saiyaka is probably right you two should stay behind once we reach Naraku's castle," Sango said looking at the two.
Everyone kinda looked at the two, they were quite adimint about staying. Kokoru was no surprise for me, but from what I have gathered from the others Shippou was kinda a coward.
"How about this, you two can stay with us untill we reach the barrier that protects Naraku's castle, then after that you can route for us from the side lines hows does that sound," Kagome said with a big smile on her face.
"Fine, but I will only do it for you Kagome," Shippou said folding his arms and turning away.
"What about you Kokoru, you gonna stay with Shippou," I asked her.
"Yeah fine I will stay," Kokoru said mimiking Shippou.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka smiled some, feeling a little bad that she had to make Kokoru seperate from the person whom she seemed so devoted to, but she wouldn't be able to forgive herself if something happened to the younger members of the group. She wouldn't be able to forgive herself if anything happened to Tach or the others, either, but there was nothing she could do in that department. Especially not with Inuyasha and Tach.

Inuyasha wanted to know the exact location of Naraku's castle, and Tach would want to protect her. Tach protecting her was somthing that she really didn't want, especially since it was Naraku who they were against. Naraku had already injured Tach before...

"Oh man all this walking is making me hungry, I need something to eat," I said as my stumach growld.
Kagome herd me whining and she reached around into her back pack and pulled out a large orange bag. She walked back and handed it to me.
"Whats this," I asked as I took the bag.
"Their patato chips, trust me they are really good," Kagome said smiling.
"Patato Chips...huh might as well try one," I said reaching into the bag.
As I reached in and grabbed one of these Patato chip things, Inuyasha spun his head around and caught sight of me with the bag.
"Hey Kagome, those are mine," Inuyasha whined.
"You eat all the ramen so pipe down allready," Kagome said glaring at Inuyasha.
"What you mean that noodle stuff, thats not nearly as important as the dried patato skins are," Inuyasha said as he grabbed the bag out of my hands.
I had just put one in my mouth and it was half hanging out when Inuyasha swiped the rest of the bag. I ate the one in my mouth and growld at Inuyasha.
"Hey give those things back," I said restling with Inuyasha.
"Back of their mine," Inuyasha said as he fought back.
"Their compleatly hopless," Miroku said shaking his head.
"You got that right," Sango agreed.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka laughed as she watched the scene going on, then smirked somewhat evilly. Durring their fighting over the bag, Saiyaka ran between them and hopped up into a tree, holding onto the bag of chips and munching on them. "Pretty good!" Saiyaka said, nodding as she popped them into her mouth. Within an instant, the bag of chips was almost half gone.

"Gah! My potato skins!" Inuyasha whimpered, then growled and went at Saiyaka, "Iron Reaver Soul Stealer!" he yelled, attacking Saiyaka, who laughed and jumped off the branch and landing on a different one. "Hold still! And drop that bag!" he ordered, trying his luck again, but ended up failing once more.

I grumbled as I watched Saiyaka tease Inuyasha with the bag of Patato things. Kagome just kinda smiled and laughed a little as the other's looked on. I folded my arms and sat down on the ground right next to where Kagome has left her bag. It was then I noticed a second bag of Patato chips sitting right there. My eyes narrowed as I looked around to make sure no one else was watching. As I slowly reached my hand into Kagome bag, Miroku's staff swung down and nailed me in the top of the head.
"That will teach you to dig around in Lady Kagome's bag," Miroku siad as he pulled his staff back.
After Miroku took his staff away, I slowly rolled over and then started tumbling down a hill. I finally was stopped by a large boulder.
"Yeah...that hurt," I said as I lay there motionless.
I rolled back up and rubbed my head, but as I did, I noticed a small shiny object in the grass. I blinked a few times before I reached down and picked it up. When I looked at it closer, I realized what it was.
"But this, is a scared jewl shard. How did it get here," I said as I looked at the jewl shard even closer.
"I'm affraid that belongs to me young sir," a voice siad from behind a tree.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka yelped as she saw Tach fall and tumble, then went after him, holding the bag of potato chips still. "Tach?! Are you alright?" she asked, landing by his side. She blinked at the Shikon no Tama shard and blinked, taking out another chip and munching on it. "Nice find!" she said, nodding, then jumped when she heard the voice.

"Yeah I would say its a nice find, but who the hell are you there," I said looking at the tree I heard the voice behind.
An old man walked out from behind the tree, he was...very old. He was all hunched over and damd did he smell bad. The old man walked up to me and Saiyaka, as he did I got to my feet, the jewel shard still in my hand.
"Oh my, you are demons," The old man said looking a little worried.
"Yeah but there is nothing you need to worry about old man, we wont hurt you," I said with a grin.
"Hey whats going on," Kagome said as she and the others came down the hill.
They all ran up to us at once, Kagome looked at the old man, and then at the jewel shard in my hand.
"Its a sacred jewel shard," Kagome said surprised.
"Yes that it is, and I have been searching for the darn thing all night," the old man said as he reached for the shard.
"Now hold on their gramps, what makes you think we are just going to give you this shard," Inuyasha said holding the old man back.
"Inuyasha dont be rude," Kagome hissed.
"Well why should we give the jewel shard to this old geezer anyways, its not like he could possibly have any use for it," Inuyasha said letting go of the old man.
The old man dusted himself off, not that it would do anygood to get rid of the stench that was allready their. But when he was done brushing himself off he looked up at us.
"Maybe you should come with me, and I will show you why I need that sacred jewel shard," the old man said turning around and walking off into the woods.

Saiyaka sighed some and shook her head slightly. "Whatever, I guess we should go and see why he needs it so desperately," she murmured. Blinking as she looked at Tach, she handed him the half full bag of chips. "You can have the rest of them..." she said with a wink, laughing as she saw Inuyasha look rather pissed out of the corner of her eye.

We fallowed the old man through the forest for quite a way's. I was munching in that Patato chips that Saiyaka gave me as we went. I was about to put one in my mouth when I noticed Inuyasha was still glaring at me. I reached over and put the bag in his hand. He just galred at me and took the bag.
"So gramps were are you taking us," Inuyasha said anoyed as usuall.
"To my village, there I will show you why I need this shard of the Shikon No Tama," the old man said as we continued to walk.
When we finally came to a clearing, there was a large rock cliff right infront of us. The old man walked up to the edge and peared over. We all did the same, down inside what looked to be an old river bed was a small village. You could see even from this hight the people running around the village.
"So this is your village, an odd place to put it," Sango said as she peared over the edge.
"Our village has remained here for hundreds of years, it was first built when the mighty river that once flowed through this canyon was damed up by a large demon. So here we have lived in peace for those many years. But now, a new demon is threating to open up the damd, and flood our village, if we do not recover the shards of the Shikon jewel for him," the old man said.
"A demon huh, what is this demons name," I asked the old man.
"No one knows his name, but he comes to us every night, and threatends that if we do not recover the shards, he will flood our village," the old man said as he faced us.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka began to smirk again, the sound of an oppertunity to teach a demon a lesson made her eyes glow. "Well...That's not very nice of that demon, now is it?" she questioned to herself, though she spoke loud enough for everyone to hear her. "Alright...I don't think you really need the jewel shard in order to protect your village! All you need to do is just let us handle things!" she laughed, cracking her knuckles.

Kagome shook her head some and looked at Inuyasha, then at Saiyaka. "It's scaring me that I'm beginning to see a sort of resemblance between the two attitude wise," she laughed, reciving glares from both Saiyaka and Inuyasha.

"There is only one problem with this whole situation," I said as my left ear twitched.
"What is that," Kokoru asked.
"Think really hard, what about last night makes tonight so important," I asked the group.
Everyone kinda thought for a moment, not exactly sure what I was saying. I think I had confused everyone except for Inuyasha who knew what I was talking about.
"Oh no thats right, tonight is the night of the new moon," Kagome blurted out.
"Took you long enough to figure that out," Inuyasha said crossing his arms.
"Oh dear, this may be a problem," Miroku said not to happy with the news.
Everyone at that point just kinda remained scilent, not sure of what to say.
"The fact that tonight is the night of the full moon, does not dissregard the fact that we need to take care of this demon. So I sugjest we devise a plan, just becuase Inuyasha and I will be human, dosent mean we still can't fight. And I may have a few tricks up my sleeve that can help," I said a large smirk on my face.

[Chibi-chan]

"You're human durring the new moon as well?" Saiyaka asked Tach. "This should be rather interesting to see," she said with a small smile. "It will be even more amusing to see what tricks you have up your sleeves as just a mere human," she added. "We know that Inuyasha is already worthless...He must be even more so durring this time," she pressed, glancing at the half demon, who was glaring at her.

Inuyasha jumped in front of her, his eyes narrowing. "I'll give YOU worthless!" he hissed, making a move to punch Saiyaka, but she just jumped up, landed a foot on the top of his head, then jumped again to land by Tach's side. "Why you..." Inuyasha growled, rubbing the top of his head.

"Will you two knock it off already," Shippou said shaking his head.
"I actually find this all quite amusing," I said smiling at Inuyasha.
"I bet you would," Inuyasha growled.
"Old man, do you have a place that we can stay untill night fall, if we are going to help slay this demon for you we need some time to plan," I asked the old man.
"Of course, fallow me," The old man said as he walked over to a bridge.
"Oh I was also wondering if you have a place where I can find a sword in your town," I asked as we made our way across the bridge.
"I think I can rumage something up," the old man said with a smile.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka smirked some and looked at Tach. "You find it amusing for me and Inuyasha to fight, hm?" she laughed. "Anyway, I guess that weapons would be a good idea for you and Inuyasha...Especially the mutt, because it's my guess that he can't do a thing for himself without a weapon of some sort," she teased.

We had all been taken to the old mans hut, he was nice enough to feed us as well as find me and Inuyasha a weapon. Inuyasha was not exactly pleased about using something other than his Tetsuiga though.
"Oh will you stop pouting about it Inuyasha," I said as I glared over at him.
"Feh, why would I want to use a sword like this when I have the tetsuiga," He snorted.
"Well if you havnt noticed the Tetsuiga dosent work when your human," I shouted.
Inuyasha just snorted at me again and looked the other way, that's how it usually was, even when we were kids he was always such a pain in the butt. I took the sword that the old man had given me and took it out of its sheath.
"The craftsmenship of this sword is exquizit, who made this sword," I asked the old man.
"That sword was made many years ago, by a very famous blacksmith named Toutousai," the old man said smiling.
"Did you say Toutousai, that is one of his swords," Inuyasha said very interested.
The old man nodded as everyone looked at the sword, I knew that Toutousai was the creator of the Tetsuiga and the Tensuiga, but I was unaware of any other swords of his.

[Chibi-chan]

"Totosai?" Saiyaka asked, looking at the sword with interest. "How did a sword of his come into your possession...Totosai only makes swords for those who are 'worthy'" she stated, eying the sword still.

"It has been passed down in my family through the generations, no one is exactly sure how it came to be in our family in the first place. But it is our most treasured item. Please take good care of it...I can see that the sun is starting to set, I best leave you to your business," the old man said as he walked out of the hut.
"That was strange, why would he give me something that is so important to him," I said looking at the sword.
"Beats me," Kokoru said also looking at the blade.
I sat there for a moment and just looked at the sword, but I then realized what time it was. The sun was starting to set and we havnt made any plans yet.
"Right, Kokoru go get me the ingrediants I need," I said to her.
"Ingrediants...oh yes I understand," Kokoru siad as she bolted out the door.
"Allright, this is how we should go about this. We will wait untill this demon appears, untill then we will disguise ourselvs as villagers. When he does, Miroku and Sango you will take him from the front, and Saiyaka, you take him from behind. Inuyasha and Kagome, you two work best together so I want you to find somwhere up on one of the huts roofs, use your arrows against the demon if the other attacks fail," I said to the group.
"And what will you do during this whole time," Miroku asked.
"I have a bit of a surprise for the demon, you just keep him busy untill then...got it," I said smiling evily.

[Chibi-chan]

"Nah, I really don't got it," Saiyaka said, sighing a little. "I would rather take this demon on alone, just to see what he can do...Even if I couldn't take him on, I'd rather fight him face to face. Behind attacks haven't really....been my style," she murmured. "Though I don't care, I suppose...Just as long as we can kick some demon butt and all..."

"Saiyaka...You're quite the strange one," Miroku said, nodding some and tapping her lighting on the head with his staff. "You have to learn to calm down and be...not like Inuyasha..."

I cracked a small smile at Miroku's comment, but at the same time rached over and smacked him upside the head.
"Hey what was that for," He siad holding the back of his head.
"No reason, just felt like hitting someone," I said grinning.
"You half demons are truly an interesting breed," Miroku said out of anger.
"And whats that suppose to mean," Inuyasha said appearing overtop Miroku.
"Oh I meant nothing by it really," Miroku siad waving his hands around and smiling.
I just kept smiling, that was untill I noticed the last of the sun going behind the mountain, and the darkness of night started to cover the village. I signed and got to my feet.
"Well here we go again," I said as I watched the darkness come ever closer.
When the sunlight had all but dissapeared, I could feel myself loosing the my demon powers. And when I reached up and felt the top of my head...no ears there. I sighed and sat back down. My brown hair now visible. Inuyasha hadnt moved, he now just sat there, his black hair waving slightly as a wind blew through the hut.
"Well we best get into position," I said with a large sigh.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka was a bit fasinated by the human forms of the half demons, and she began to take the oppertunity and tease Inuyasha as much as possible. "Wow...Black hair really doesn't look good on you!" she laughed as she prodded Inuyasha in the head, right where his dog ears would be. She didn't make fun of Tach, though, because she had no reason to do it.

While Saiyaka poked at Inuyasha, I got to my feet and walked outside the hut. I stopped just outside the door.
"Kokoru did you get everything in position," I said outloud.
"Yes master, everything is in position and awaiting your order," Kokoru said with a much darker tone in her voice.
"Excanlent, make sure you dont fire untill everyone is out of the way," I said as I walked off.
"Of course master Tach," Kokoru said as a larger than normal demon hopped off the roof of the hut.
Everything was going acording to plan thus far, I knew he was here the moment I found that shard. He couldnt possibly be the one who was threatning the village, thats not his style, but maybe it was that little imp of his is the one pulling the strings behind this. He has done things like this in the past to try and impress his lord.
"Sesshomaru...where are you hiding," I said as I walked down the village street.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka, who was following after Tach, stared at him for a long while. "Sesshomaru?!" she asked, feeling her heart skip a beat. "Are you sure that Sesshomaru is here?!" she questioned, stopping Tach and looking at him. There was actually a hint of hope in her eyes. Aside from that, there was something else, but it was very hard to place at the moment.

"You are very sneaky do you know that Saiyaka...I thought I was by myself for a moment. And yes Sesshomaru is near by, I expect the person who is threatning this village, is his fallower Jaken. I have seen him do similar tricks in the past, but this one takes the cake," I said not turning around to look at Saiyaka.
I kept on walking, but then stopped realizing that Saiyaka was still there. I sighed a little and then turned around.
"Saiaya, I am going now. And there is a chance that I might not come back, if only this wasnt the night of the new moon I would be a little bit more hopeful but...Saiyaka there is something I need to tell you before I go," I said somberly
I stod there for the longest time trying to say it, but I just couldnt bring myself to. There were so many things I wanted to tell Saiyaka right then, why I was after Sesshomaru, exactly how I felt about her. Who I really was, but there was no time, not anymore.
"Saiyaka...take care of yourself," I said as I turned around and walked off.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka looked stunned as he didn't really say anything to her. When he said that he may not come back, she just stared at him, dazed. Even after he walked off, she couldn't get herself to move for the longest time. When she could move, she ran at full speed after Tach and grabbed his arm, practically clinging onto it. "Stay with me!" she whispered. "You don't have to go off on your own!" she whimpered.

"I want you to come with me as well, truth be told I wish I didnt have to go. I rather stay here with you, but there is something I have to do, even if I dont suceed I will know in my heart that I tried, and that my mothers death would not have been in vain," I said looking at Saiyaka as she clung to me.
I turned around and grabbed one of Saiyaka's hands, I looked strait into her eyes, so she could see what was in mine. I moved in closer to her, and put my lips on her forhead. I pulled away and looked back at her.
"You are what I live for now, I promise you I will come back. But you cannot fallow me," I said as I made my hand into a fist.
I trust my fist forward into Saiyaka's stumach as hard as I could in my human form. Even for a human I was strong enough, the blow was just strong enough to stun her.
"I'm sorry Saiyaka...I love you," I said as I helped her to the ground.
I turned my back and left Saiyaka sitting on the ground, a tear ran down my cheak as I walked. This probably the last time I would see her.

[Chibi-chan]

"Tach, no...Let me come wi-" she began, but gasped as he punched her in the stomach, eyes widening. She slumped to her knees, her lips parting as she silently said his name. The last thing that she saw before she blacked out was Tach's retreating form, blurred by her tears. The last thing she heard was him telling her that he loved him. She just hoped, as felt her brain shut down momentarily, that she would see him alive again.

A young girl ran around a small opening just beyong the edge of a forest, she was chasing after a group of fire fly's. And not to far off was Sesshomaru's fallower, Jaken. I slowly walked out of the forest, the shadows from the tree's shadded my figure.
"Halt who goes there," Jaken shouted out when he herd a rustling in the bushes.
"What is it Master Jaken," the young girl asked.
"Where is your master...Sesshomaru," I asked in a low tone.
"Who wants to know," Jaken said walking towards my shadowy figure.
I slowly pulled out the blade that was given to me by the old man, before Jaken could come any futher. I pointed the tip of my blade in his face, he stopped dead in his tracks and started to whimper.
"Master Jaken!" The girl cried out.
I looked up at the girl, a stange glow in my eyes. The small girl was frozen in her tracks with fear as I knocked Jaken to the side, he tumbled into a bush and was knocked unconsious. I walked passed the gril, knowing that Sesshomaru could not be to far.
Sesshomaru sat on a large rock, staring up into the sky as if trying to find something. The same emotionless look on his face. He then looked down and at his left.
"Who's there?" he said.
"The one who will be killing you tonight," I said stepping out of the forest in my full demon form.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka stirred some and woke up, finding herself back at the place where they were staying. Kagome was dabbing Saiyaka's face with a wet rag, trying to get her up.

Kagome stopped and withdrew the cold rag as she smiled. "You're awake...It's about time," she said, then looked worried. "Weren't you with Tach?" she asked.

Saiyaka jumped up, recalling what had happened, and she went rather pale. "I have to go...I have to find him!" she whispered, starting to run off.

"Who are you," Sesshomaru said getting to his feet.
"You mean you have forgotten allready Sesshomaru, this scar on my face should be enough to make even you remember," I said pointing at the scar over my left eye.
"I havnt the faintest idea of what you are talking about, but if you dont leave then I will be forced to kill you," Sesshomaru said rasing his claws.
"Its going to take more than your claws to kill me Sesshomaru, I'm not like I was those many years ago when you killed my mother," I said with an evil grin on my face.
Sesshomaru stod there for a moment, trying to recall who I was. It was then he remembered who I was, and why I was here.
"I remember you know, you were that other half demon that was always around Inuyasha," Sesshomaru said walking closer.
"Well you have a brain after all, now how about I kill you and get this whole mess over with," I said brining my sword out to one side.
"If you wish to fight me, then come at me," Sesshomaru said

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka ran as fast as she could, placing ahand over her stomach and scowling some. "How dare he do something like that to me! Doesn't he trust me enough be be around him when he's in danger?!" she hissed. She jumped onto one of the rooftops and ran from one to the other, trying to find Tach.

She suddenly came to a halt as she saw him, but gasped as she saw that he wasn't alone. Sesshomaru was there, looking as good as he did when she had first met him. Blinking as she thought this, she shook her head, wondering why the hell she had just thought of such a thing. It looked like Sesshomaru and Tach were going to fight, and she wouldn't let that happen. "Stop!" she cried out, jumpping down between them.

Saiyaka landed in between me and Sesshomaru, but I could have cared less at the moment, I looked strait through her at Sesshomaru, the one who had murdered my mother. The grasp on my sword became tighter as I started to walk towards Saiyaka. I then broke into a run and jumped strait over her and down at Sesshomaru.
"Die you Bastard!" I yelled as my blade came down.
Sesshomaru pulled his sowrd and our blades met, a large shock wave was sent out in either direction topling the trees in the area. Sesshomaru's emotionless look was never lost as I put all my weight into the attack. I finally pulled my sword away and landed back just infront of Saiyaka.
"Is that all you have to offer me," Sesshomaru said lowering his sword.
"Not a chance," I said grinning.
I bolted forward again, leaving Saiyaka behind me, my blade caem up from the ground this time, almost catching Sesshomaru off guard. My blade tore a peice of his Kimono just before he caught my blade with his, now he was angry. I stod there holding my sword in place, grinning.
"Hows it feel, to meet someone who is dead set on killing you, and actually can," I said in an evil tone.
"You are becoming a pest," Sesshomaru said as his eyes narrowed.
Sesshomaru used all his force and pushed me back, but before I could recover he flew at me, I blocked his first attack with my blade, but the shock wave from just the swing of his sword sliced open my arm, letting blood fly everywhere.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka scowled, seeming a little pissed off that neither of them acknowleged her. She flincheds each time their swords met, and she suddenly began to transform as soon as Tach's arm was cut. The spider legs came from her back as the shard glowed in her forehead. "Stop it...Lord Sesshomaru!" the half demon begged.

Little Rin, who was hidding behind the boulder all this time, peeked her head over it, looking over at Saiyaka. "Lady Saiyaka?" she asked, then smiled as she saw that it was indeed Saiyaka. "It's been so long since you were-" she began, but broke off when she saw Saiyaka frantically shaking her head and motioning for Rin to keep quiet.

I looked down at the blood on my arm, I wasnt the least bit surprised by it. That sword of his was powerful enough to kill me in a single blow if I let it. But not tonight, I wasnt going to let him get an easy kill if it came down to that. Untill now I was all but ignoring Saiyaka, that was untill the little girl started to call out to her...by name. What did that mean.
"Sesshomaru...before we continue I would ask that you have your companions flee the area, I would not want to needlessly hurt one of them," I said looking at the dog demon.
Sesshomaru looked at me for a moment, it seemed he was slightly registering what I said. But not acting apon my sugjestions, no matter, I would just have to be extra careful not to hit the girl or that little imp of his...well maybe I would give the imp a good knock around too if I had the time.
"Allright if you wish for them to stay than so be it, we shall continue our fight with them in our presence," I said rasing my sword once again.
I jumped forward, leaving a trail of blood from my arm in the air as I went, our two blades met once again, and while he was distracted with keeping my blade back, I thrust my fist into his stumach. And that was the first time I ever saw a surprised look on his face. I had hit him so hard with that one punch that it caused him loose his footing for just the right amount of time. I used as much force in my body as I could to push Sesshomaru to the ground. A billow of dust flew into the air as I forced the demon down. When the dust cleared I stod there above Sesshomaru, it appears that we had beatten eachother, my blade was just above his face, while his was sticking up through my left arm, all he had to do was trust to the other side and take my head off.
"It appears we are at a draw, I think this battle is over," I said grinning.
I pulled my blade away and took his out of my arm, I turned strait around and jumped into the air, and into the darkness.

Saiyaka saw that this battle was going to happen, even if she liked it or not. Scowling, when Sesshomaru didn't take the suggestion that Rin be brought to a safer place, she hurried over to the girl and took her in her arms, leaving a good distance away. She didn't go that far, considering that she didn't want to not see what was going on.

Rin looked up at Saiyaka, still in the half demon's arms. "Saiyaka, you forgot to get Jakin," she stated, pointing at the little green imp who was cheering Sesshomaru on.

"I'm sure he can take care of himself," Saiyaka grumbled, watching the fight and wishing the two of them would stop. When they actually did, and Tach started walking away, Saiyaka jumped down from where she was sitting and brought Rin over to Sesshomaru, then turned to leave.

"...Saiyaka," Sesshomaru said quite suddenly, making the girl stop in surprise and turn around. "Don't ever get into the middle of one of my fights again..." he said, turning around and beginning to leave, the same as Tach was doing.

Saiyaka stood in surprise for a few moments. He had actually spoken to her for the first time. He had even said her name. She smiled a bit, then remembered Tach and ran after him. "Tach..." she said, comming up beside him and looking at his injured arm. "Got yourself hurt again," she murmured, taking his arm gently in her hands.

"What the hell was that!" I yalled loudly at Saiyaka.
I grabbed her hand and pushed it away from me, I turned around and looked at her, the red glow still in my eyes from the battle. I was about to reach for my sword, but I stopped myself before I could. I pulled my hand away and looked up at the sky, I closed my eyes and let out a sigh, with that my demonic power slipped away yet again and I looked back at Saiyaka.
"Why did you come after me after I told you not to, you could have gotten hurt if things had gotten out of hand," I said as I sat on the ground," This battle between me and Sesshomaru, you have no place in it. It's between me and him and no one else."
I looked up at Saiyaka, part of me was still mad at her for coming. But the other half was glad she did. I reached up and grabbed Saiyaka's hand and held it tight.
"Thank you," I said pulling her closer and putting my good arm around her and resting my head on her shoulder.

Saiyaka looked at Tach, eyes wide. She was now nowhere short of terrified of him at the moment when he was yelling at her. He was even about to draw his sword, but was glad that he didn't. "...Tach...Have you considered what would happen to me if you had been killed?" she whispered after a while, embracing him and beginning to tend to his wounds. She was happy that Kagome had given her bandages before she left.

I sat there on the rock while Saiyaka rapped the wound on my arm, I was lucky that these were the only injuries I had received. Sesshomaru truly was more powerful than I had expected, even though I had pinned him to the ground, if I handnt left he would have killed me.
"Before you came, I was prepared to die. I was ready to give me life in order to avange my mothers death. But when I saw you there, while I had by blade to Sesshomaru's throat. And I knew the moment I trust my sword, he would have killed me. I thought of your face, and the tears in your eyes just as I was about to kill him, and I couldnt do it. The thought of you crying over me, it worse than death itself," I said as I sat there.

[Chibi-chan]

"Tach...You're right. I would have cried," Saiyaka whispered, as she finished treating the wound. "I'm sorry that you couldn't get revenge, but...I can't let you die," she told him. She hesitated for a while and closed her eyes. "I can't let you kill Sesshomaru, either," she added reluctantly. Saiyaka knew that, by saying this, he would probably want to ask why that was. Then she would have to tell him, and everything would probably fall appart at that point. But Tach had to know...She owed it to him to tell him.

"I allready have a feeling I know why...that girl, she called out your name. You have been around Sesshomaru before, that is why that girl knew who you are. And thats why Sesshomaru called you by name as he left," I said smiling a little," I also saw something when I first met you, when Sesshomaru was brought up, you blushed. Saiyaka I dont care what reasons you have for not wanting me to kill Sesshomaru, it wont make me care for you any less."
I was rather surprised at myself, for saying these things, Sesshomaru to me was the scum of the earth and I would just love to see him burn in hell. But what was more important to me that anything right now was keeping Saiyaka safe and out of harms way. And if that ment I had to put off on killing Sesshomaru then so be it.
"I wont kill Sesshomaru, I have allready taken my revenge, I took it the moment I saw fear in his eyes," I said as I got to my feet," Lets get back to the village now and tell them that this is done, there is no more demon to worry about."

"My feelings for him have...become minimal," Saiyaka said softly after a moment. "After I met you, I started to forget all about him...Hell, he never even said my name before just now," she sighed, shaking her head. "Tach...I," she started, but stopped as she saw the group comming towards them instead of it being the other way around. "And I'm interrupted," she murmured, sighing a little bit.

"What the hell is going on around here?" Inuyasha asked, being the first one to get there. He looked at Tach's arm and raised a brow, then looked at Saiyaka who seemed like she was rather pissed at Inuyasha for interrupting them. "What's going on?" he repeated.

Saiyaka was just about to tell me something, but of course like all of these type of moments someone has to interupt. My left eye was twitching a little becuase Inuyasha and they others had bardged in.
"What does it look like," I asked him slowly turning my head to look at him.
Kagome looked at my arm and how it was all rapped up in bandaged, a little blood seeping through but not alot. I sighed and got ot my feet and walked up to Inuyasha.
"So where have you been this whole time," I asked him.
"Looking for you thats where we have been," Inuyasha grumbled.
"Why on earth were you looking for me, shouldnt you have been getting ready to slay that demon," I said a little anoyed.
"Were not that nieve you know, we knew all along there was no real demon," Miroku said walking up to me.
"What," I said looking over at Miroku.
"Even before we arrived in the village I could smell Sesshomaru's sent, it was only logical that the person pulling the strings behind this whole Jewel Shard thing was that little imp Jaken," Inuyasha said rather anoyed with me.
"Wow Inuyasha I dont think I have ever herd you use logical in a sentance before," I said sarcatically.
"Will you be serious for a minute here," Inuyasha said punching me upisde the head.

[Chibi-chan]

"Inuyasha isn't such an idiot after all," Saiyaka pointed out, crossing her arms and sighing a little bit.

"What is that supposed to mean, Saiyaka?!" Inuyasha asked, turning on her now and glaring. He was still in his human form, of course, and couldn't do anything to her, even if he wanted to.

"But you're still worthless," she added, not bothering to tell Inuyasha what she ment by saying he wasn't such an idiot.

"Worthless?! And what did you do, while Tach was fighting Sesshomaru, huh?!" he asked, then clutched his face after Saiyaka suddenly kicked him there.

"I don't need to explain myself to a mutt," she said calmly, shaking her head and going over to Tach.

"Saiyaka took care of the girl," I said as I sat back down.
"You mean that little girl that always travels with Sesshomaru," Sango said.
"Yeah I guess, I have never seen her before now though, this was the first time I have run into Sesshomaru in a long time," I said looking at the others.
Inuyasha kept holding his face as he glared at Saiyaka, this was still rather amusing to me. I cracked a smile and got to my feet again, all this standing and sitting was getting anoying.
"I think it best we leave this village now, since their is no more danger here, we should find a place to stay for the night, and then we will head out first thing in the morning," I said as I started to walk off.
"Hey wait a minute, what makes you the guy who makes all the decisions around here all of a sudden," Inuyasha snapped.
"The fact that I say logical in a sentance more than once a century," I said smiling at Inuyasha.
Inuyasha growld as the others quietly laughed at the joke, he spun around and gave them all a glare so they all stopped. As I walked off, I grabbed ahold of Saiyaka's hand.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka laughed, wanting to poke more fun at Inuyasha, but she decided against it for the moment. When take took her hand, she smiled and held onto his. If this were to have happened a while, back she would have been blushing at this point.

Inuyasha spotted this little fact and opened his mouth to say something, but all he got was a mouth full of dirt as Kagome told him to 'sit' once again.

Miroku rolled his eyes, letting out a sigh as he grabbed Inyasha by the kimono and started to drag him along.

I had walked a little faster then normal so now we were in the lead...way in the lead. Saiyaka had wanted to tell me something earlier before Inuyasha had interupted. I looked back at the rest of the group, they were to far back to hear us. Though god knows they would be trying.
"Saiyaka, before Inuyasha and the others came, you were trying to say something to me...what was it," I asked as I looked over at her.
I was all to interested to see what Saiyaka was going to say, it had peaked my interest. That and the more I thought about it, with those guys around it would be kinda hard to get a moments peace around here.

[Chibi-chan]

"Remember what you said to me when you hit me in my stomach, so that you could go off and fight Sesshomaru?" she asked softly, looking at him. "You said that you...Love me?" she said, jogging his memory in case he forgot, though she knew that he wasn't as thick headed as the dog hanyou. She hesitated, then looked at him with a smile on her face. "Well...I love you, too," she whispered, so that the others wouldn't hear, even though they were still far behind.

I held Saiyaka's hand tighter, and just smiled as much as one could smile. I looked back infront of us, this was a good night.
"You are the first person who has ever told me that," I said still smiling," Saiyaka, back when I said I only wanted to stay by your side untill this was over...I was kinda sorta lying."
I scratched the back of my head, a little red in the face. But hell who wouldnt be.
"What I really wanted to say was, I want to stay by your side...forever," I said looking back over at her.

"What he say what did he say," Kagome whispered to Inuyasha.
"Why do you want to know anyways, besides its not like I can hear him when I am human" Inuyasha said looking down at Kagome.
"Becuase this is what romance is called...its a subject a certain someone I know is lacking on," Kagome said folding her arms.
"Whats that suppose to mean," Inuyasha snapped.
"It means your not romanitic," Kagome snapped back.
"Who needs to be romantic," Inuyasha said getting anoyed.
"You do!" Kagome yelled.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka smiled at him, and absentmindedly rested her head against his shoulder. "That's why I was a little disappointed to hear you say that," Saiyaka said quietly, closing her eyes for a minute. "I didn't want you to go after this little journey that we're taking..."

Miroko watched the two, then looked at Inuyasha and Kagome. He smirked a little and then looked at Sango, opening his mouth to say something to her, but stopped when he saw her give him a glare. "What did I do?!"

"It's what you were thinking about doing," Sango answered, shaking her head some.

"See see, look at those two, they have not trouble showing their love for eachother," Kagome yelled still arguing wtih Inuyasha.
"Well what do you want me to do about it," Inuyasha said all angry.
Kagome stopped and thought about this for a minute, the more she thought the more she realized that the whole argument was rather stupid.
"Its not like you expect me to kiss you or anything," Inuyasha said under his breath.
Kagome galred up at Inuyasha, fire appeared in the background, Inuyasha's face went blank with fear.
"And whats wrong with wanting a kiss from time to time," Kagome grumbled.
"Uhhh...I didnt mean," Inuyasha wimpered.
"Inuyasha...Sit Boy!"
I turned my head just in time to see Inuyuasha do yet another faceplant into the ground. I shook my head and kinda laughed.
"They guy will never learn," I said with a smirk on my face.

Saiyaka laughed some and shook her head, having heard the whole conversation wtih Inuyasha and Kagome. "It's too bad," she murmured. "If Inuyasha would just forget about that damned priestess, he and Kagome would be a nice couple," she stated. Then she just kind of blinked, wondering why such thoughts were comming to her. When had she ever thought like that?

Sango shook her head at Inuyasha and sighed some, "It will never change...Not soon, anyway," she muttered. She caught Miroku inching towards her out of the corner of her eye and shook her head, hitting the monk on the top of the head with her Hiraikouse ( don't know if I spelled that right...probably not! ). "Won't change at all," she muttered.

I sat myself down and sighed, we had walked a good hour before we found a good spot to rest. The entire time Kagome and Inuyasha were fighting about romance and kissing and other random stuff.
"Oh man if I dont get some sleep I am going to die," I said as I rolled over onto the ground.
"Same here, I can't walk another step," Miroku said resting against a tree.
Inuyasha just kinda sat down, he rested his sword against his shoulder and closed his eyes. Wasnt much for talking I would guess.
"We are going to sleep right over here," Kagome said grabbing ahold of Sango and Saiyaka.
"Why all the way over there, there is plently of room here," Miroku said looking at the large grassy area around us.
"No thats fine, we will go over here, good night Inuyasha," She said as she walked off.
"Yeah whatever," Inuyasha mumbled.
"I think I will go with Kagome as well, goodnight," Sango said as she walked off.
When Sango and Kagome were gone, I looked over at Saiyaka and smiled.
"You going with them as well," I asked her.

Saiyaka looked over at Kagome, who looked back with a pretty demanding look on her face, so she laughed and looked back to Tach, giving him a helpless shrug. "I suppose so...I don't want to know what the consequences for not going are!" she said with a laugh.

I nodded my head and then kinda closed my eyes, this was one hell of a night. Miroku also decided to jsut get some sleep right then and there. We were done fighting for tonight.
"Goodnight Inuyasha," I said in a girly voice.
"Shut up will ya," Inuyasha said throwing a rock at me.
I laughed as did Miroku, and that was it for the night. I was no out like a light (Didnt mean to ryhme)

"Why were you so desperate to get away from the guys, Kagome?" Saiyaka muttered, sounding a little bit angery with Kagome at the moment. She would have rather stayed with Tach.

"It's probably because she's mad at Inuyasha," Sango said with a small laugh, looking at Kagome. The look that Kagome gave Sango was enough for her to stop laughing and shut up for the moment.

When my eyes cracked open, I could see the daylight coming over the mountain, it was just enough sunlight, so I transformed back into my half demon form while I was still asleep. I reached up a grabbed ahold of one of my dog ears. When I looked around, everyone else was still asleep, or atleast I thought they were. I got to my feet and stretched, I made sure to grab both of my swords before I left. My black Katana, I was still to afraid to pull out, not after what happened last time.
"Maybe I should just get rid of it," I said to myself as I walked," I mean I have this new sword."
I reached a large lake and stoped, the water was very clear. I was all to happy that I found the lake, now not only could I catch some breakfast, but I could take a bath quickly before everyone else got up. I quickly got undressed and headed for the water.
"Banzai!" I yelled stupidy as I jumped into the river from a large rock.
I hit the water and caused quite the splash, the water was really cold, but refreshing. I just kinda laid on my back and floated around for awhile.
"Now this is what I am talking about, peace and quite, with no one to bother me," I said as I floated along.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka stirred awake and blinked some, feeling something slightly heavy and warm around her body. She sat up quickly and found a new baboon pelt draped around her shoulders. For a while she stared at it in wonder. "Where did...He wouldn't have come here and not..." she murmured, blinking in curiousity. She looked around and spotted Sango and Kagome, sleeping without any harm done to them.

I burst through the surface of the water and spit out some that got in my mouth. I shook my head and then lifted to fish that I had caught out of the water, I had sucessfully caught two of bigest fish in the lake, this was enough for breakfast and Lunch.
"Oh today is starting out to be great after all," I said as I swam to the shore.
I jumped out of the water and put the two dead fish down by my side. I quickly jumped back into my cloths and headed back to the others. When I walked back, they were all still asleep.
"Man when these guys sleep they sure do sleep soundly," I said kneeling down to start a fire.
I had collected enough wood allready and put it into a small pile, I pulled out a small amount of that pouder from my pocket and put it at the base of the fire and lit it. The fire rose quickly and then died down to a managable size. I then went about cleaning the fish.
"Oh man I never did like the smell of these blasted things," I said I ripped the first one open.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka sniffed the air, trying to pick up Naraku's scent, but got the smell of fish instead. Smiling a little, she headed towards the aroma, the pelt still around her. She saw Tach making fish and let out a sigh of relief as she saw that he nor the other boys were injured. "Very strange," she said out loud, comming over to him and sitting by his side.

"Good morning," I said as Saiyaka walked up to me.
"Yeah I'd say," I herd Inuyasha from behind me.
Inuyasha had smelled the fish, he had walked up behind me and was pearing over my shoulder as I cooked the fish. He was sniffing the fish as I tried to cook.
"Inuyasha sit down and be paciant, I will be done soon," I said ignoring the sniffing in my ear.
Kagome and Sango who had just woken up came around a boulder and looked at the rest of us, Miroku was still somehow asleep, and Kokoru and Shippou were no where to be seen.
"Oh that smells great," Kagome said with a smile.
"This is difinetly a change, Kagome is usually the one cooking," Sango said laughing a little.
"Yeah but the stuff Kagome cooks is always so strange looking," Inuyasha added.
Kagome flared up and looked over at Inuyasha, who reacted as any man should, he started to whine.
"Come on you two, its first thing in the morning, why dont we just enjoy this meal in peace," Miroku said cracking and eye open.
"Look who decided to join the land of the living," I said glaring at Miroku.
"Sorry I slept so late, I was having the most wonderful dream," Miroku said with a smile.
"Oh what was it about," I asked.
"Well its started out with me and this beautiful gir...."
"NOO!...lets leave that for another time," Sango said covering Miroku's mouth laughing a little.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka couldn't help but laugh, even though things were worrying her. Sighing, she took a breath and asked the question. "None of you...Felt him...Or caught his scent?" she asked, looking to the others, then at Tach. "None of you knew that Naraku was here?"

"What?!" Inuyasha asked, ignoring everything except for Saiyaka. His eyes fell upon the babboon pelt and he glared at her. "Where did you get that, huh? Went to visit Naraku when we were asleep?!" he accused.

"Inuyasha! Did you hear what she just asked?! Naraku must have come here instead!" Kagome said, looking ready to tell Inuyasha to sit.

"If he had come here, I would have caught his lingering stench!" Inuyasha argued, but Saiyaka kicked him in the back of his head, fumming.

"You idiot! My scent is the same as his, you fool!" Saiyaka yelled, looking ready to cry at the fact that, even after all this time, Inuyasha still didn't trust her.

This was interesting, Naraku was here in the middle of the night, but yet no one noticed it. Nor did anyone get killed, strange I would have thought he would have atleast gone after Inuyasha or Kagome, or even me. I mean I was kinda with his daughter, I thought he would have killed me by now.
"Well this is strange in deed," Miroku said looking over Saiyaka's new Baboon pelt.
"Not really," I said flipping over one of the fish.
"How so," Miroku asked.
"Well lets think about this here, if Onigumo's heart still exsits within Naraku's body, then what is stopping him from coming her to check on his daughter. This proves two things, one is that somewhere in Naraku's body beats the human heart of Naraku, and in there lies one of his greatest weaknesses. But the one more disturbing fact is that he is capable of moving around us, without us even knowing," I said looking at the group.
"Yeah we allready knew about that, it just comes down to how are we going to stop him from doing that," Sango said.
"We wont do anything about it, not yet atleast. As long as he dosent attack us he is of no danger, and the its probably not even the real Naraku, probably just one of his demon pupets," I said taking the first fish of the fire.
"What thats stupid, why dont we just attack him the next time he shows up," Inuyasha yelled.
"Inuyasha didnt I just say it was probably one of his demon pupets, even if we did attack him it wouldnt do anything more than waist our engery. Now who wants some fish," I said holding up the finished fish.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka sighed and wrapped the pelt around her body tighter, closing her eyes. When Tach took the fish from out of the fire, embers of it jumped towards her and she was immediately five feet away from the small fire. "Dammit! Don't do that!" she hissed.

"I don't think he ment to do it on purpose, Saiyaka," Sango said, frowning a little. "Why did you move all the way back there, anyway?" she questioned, raising a brow slightly.

Inuyasha, who had taken the fish from Tach, looked at Saiyaka and smirked, seeing an oppertunity to strike. "Saiyaka's probably scared of fire! Even a little camp fire like this one!" he said with a laugh. "How pathetic..."

"You don't know the half of it, you damn mutt!" Saiyaka yelled, seeming to be shaking in fear as she looked at the small fire. "You wouldn't understand..."

I snatched the fish back from Inuyasha just as he was about to take a large bite out of it. He looked confused for a moment as to where it went and then looked over at me and grumbled.
"Sorry about that Saiyaka, I will be more careful next time," I said putting the fish on a flat rock.
"Why you didnt do anything," Inuyasha said as he watched me cut the fish.
"Do you always have to be so stupid," I said anoyed pearing up at Inuyasha.
"I'll show you stupid," Inuyasha said getting to his feet.
Inuyasha jumped at me in anger, I quickly moved taking the fish with me before he slamed into it. Inuyasha kept going and then spun around and looked at me.
"Allright Inuyasha, I have had just about enough of this," I said getting up.
"Yeah well so have I," Inuyasha said grabbing ahold of Tetsuiga.
"Lets settle this once and for all," I said grabbing my sword and un sheathing it.
Both me and Inuyasha jumped into the air and out of sight, everyone looked a little confused as they heard the sounds of our blades clashing in the tree tops.
"Hard to beleive they are friends isnt it," Miroku said scratching his head.
I smiled as I jumped tree top to tree top, Inuyasha has the same playful expression on his face, we were more or less just screwing around then we were fighting. I lunged over at Inuyasha, he raised his blade just in time to catch mine, when I jumped back Inuyasha took off into the air again. I tried to find him but the sun was in my eyes.
"Thats a dirty trick Inuyasha," I yelled as I stopped to look for him.
"Wind Scar!"
"What!" I yelled a large sweatdrop rolling down my head.
I jumped to the side quickly just as the tree I was standing on was obliterated.
"Damd almost had ya," Inuyasha said landing in a small field.
"What the hell was that all about, you almost killed me," I yelled waiving my arms around frantically.
"Maybe you should be a little bit more careful then," Inuyasha said smirking.
"Oh so you can be serious some times," I said smiling again.
The others just sat there eating the fish I had prepared, watching as me and Inuyasha attempted to beat the living daylights out of eachother.
"This is good fish," Miroku said taking a bite.
"Yes very good," Sango said also chewing on some.

Saiyaka shook her head some and sighed. "You know, there is no reason for you to be apologizing to me," she said. "It's just a stupid fear that I have," she told them, not bothering to go over and have any fish. She felt that her appetite had left her completely.(( Mine's a little shortie! ))

"What do you mean all the fish is gone," I said as I looked down at the bones laying on the rock.
"Well you two were so busy messing around we just ate it all," Miroku said as he whiped his mouth.
"Yeah but that dosent mean you had to eat it all," Inuyasha said a tad anoyed.
Both me and Inuyasha were all dirty and beat up, we had thoroughly beated eachother, there really was no victor this time. Just a few bruises, and a black eye.
"Well thats just great, I go an catch the fish so we can all enjoy it and you eat it all," I said walking off.
"Where are you going," Inuyasha said turning around.
"To find a nice big rock to eat," I said sarcastically.
Yeah I really wasnt going to go eat a rock, I was just looking for Saiyaka, we hadnt even had much time to say good morning to eachother yet. Becuase of mine and Inuyasha's little tif.

Saiyaka sighe some, then saw that Tach was approaching. She smiled and lept down from her tree, smiling at him. "I'm sorry for having snapped at you," she said, closing her eyes. "It's just...Fire frightens me now...Because of what happened fifty years ago, back when my past self was still alive. You know that my father, Onigumo, was badly burned when Kikyou found him, right? Well, the thing is, I was in the fire that practically destroyed him...I still can feel the flames, whenever I see fire. The reason I didn't freak out when that village was burning, was because I wasn't in control of myself at the moment..." she explained, shaking her head.

(OOC: I dunno about that, I bet if you really wanted to you could kick my butt easily)

"So thats why then, the same fire that burned Onigumo so badly, was the same fire that killed your past self. I guess that explains alot, like when you were injured. Inuyasha told me that you were crying out in your sleep that it was so hot. You were reliving your past memories, that must be hard," I said as I stod next to Saiyaka.
Well this really did explain alot of it too me, now I knew better than to use fire around her. This would be helpful in the future as well.
"You know Saiyaka its nothing to really be ashamed off, everyone has their own fear of something, even me," I said looking over at her.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka nodded a little and sighed, shaking her head slightly. "I...I really tried to save him," she whispered. "I ran into that burning building, hoping that I could somehow get him out of there, but...Before I had the chance, that rafter had to fall on me. It prevented me from going further," she said quietly.

Shaking her head, she looked over at Tach. "What...What are you afraid of?" she asked softly.

Oh boy, she had asked me about what my greatest fear was now. Why did I go and bring that up in the first place...well I guess its my own dang fault. Guess I should tell her, she would be the first one to know my greatest fear.
"Okay, well you are the only person I have every told this too so...here we go. My greatest fear is...snakes," I said rather embaressed.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka blinked at him, then broke into a smile and began laughing a little. "You act like that's something to be ashamed of!" she said, shaking her head. "So what if you're afraid of snakes? You said yourself that everybody has different fears and such. Though I don't konw why you're afraid of snakes...Did something bad happen that involved them or something?" she asked, looking at him still.

"No nothing happened to me with snakes as a child, they are just nasty," I said folding my arms and looking away.
Yeah I was acting pretty stupid towards the whole situation. But oh well, might as well get off the topic, before it gets out of hand.
"So what do you want to do this morning, seeming how we have some time before we have to get going," I asked Saiyaka looking back over at her.

Saiyaka laughed a little bit and ruffled his hair up a little bit. "You're so funny sometimes," she teased. "Anyway...I really don't have anything in mind to do with my time," she amitted. "How about...We do something together?" she requested, smiling at him as she removed her hand from his head.

I reached over and grabbed Saiyaka's hand again. I started walking kinda pulling Saiyaka along with me. I hadnt the faintest idea where the hell we were going, but then I remembered the lake. That was a nice place to be, the water was clean and clear, a great place to just be alone, for awhile atleast, before Inuyasha or someone else decided to try and "find" us.
"Why dont we go down to the lake, thats a nice place to just kinda...umm just be...alone," I said pausing a little bewteen words.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka smiled as he took her hand and caught up with him so that he wouldn't be dragging. "The lake, huh?" she asked, nodding some. "I think that's a great idea," she told him. "Let's go down to the lake then...No fire and hopefully no snakes," she added with a laugh.

"Where did Saiyaka and Tach dissapear too," Kagome said picking her head up.
"How should I know, it wasnt my turn to watch them," Inuyasha said as he tried to get a dirt stain out of his shirt.
Kagome and Inuyasha also happened to be by the lake at this time, they had gotten there before Saiyaka and I had. Of course we were making out way there when we noticed them. I stopped and pondered the situation for a moment, I then quickly hid myself, dragging Saiyaka along with me.
"I knew it," I said grinning.
While me and Saiyaka hid behind a rather large rock, Inuyasha went about cleaning his cloths. While Kagome just sat there and looked out at the water.
"This is interesting, I wonder when it was the last time these two had a moment alone...or atleast thought they did," I said quietly as I watched Inuyasha and Kagome.
Inuyasha was acting rather strange for himself, he would looked up at Kagome, but then quickly turn his attention back to his washing. He was planning something all right. Maybe that hole argument he and Kagome had the other day had snagged a nerve somewhere in that deep cavern he calls a brain.
Inuyasha got to his feet and walked over next to Kagome, he ploped himself down on the ground and reached his arm around her. Kagome looked rather surprised by this, but after a minute she just kinda rested her head on his shoulder.
"Oh well that was kinda dissapointing," I said my face dropping a little.
"Yeah I'll say, I would have atleast thought he would have said something to her," Miroku said form behind me and Saiyaka.
"Miroku were the hell did you come from," I said pushing his face into the dirt so they didnt see him.

[Chibi-chan]

"Are you really a monk, or do you just dress like one?" Saiyaka asked, raising a brow at Miroku as Tach pushed the so-called monk's face into the ground. "Sure, you have great spiritual power and all, but you sure as hell don't act like a monk at all...With the way you always rub Sango's butt and ask people to bear your children," she muttered, rolling her eyes.

Miroku could not do much more than smile at Saiyaka's questions, every time he opens his mouth to explain himself he usually gets piled into the ground again. I sighed and turned my attention back to Inuyasha and Kagome...
"Umm where did they go," I said when I noticed they were gone.
"Strange there were there just a moment ago," Miroku said poping his head up again.
I slowly got to my feet, wondering where the two had gone, I mean its not like they could have just dissapeared into thin air, and if Inuyasha had herd us I knew he would have tried to atleast hit me or something. I slowly made my way over to the lake, thinkning maybe the had just moved somewhere else. I poked my head up over a large boulder and looked around, still nothing, they were no where to be seen on the beach. I had disspeared from Saiyaka's and Miroku's sight when I went up to the lake. Miroku was getting rather impaciant. That was untill I came running around the corner, the most terrified look on my face.
"Tach what happened," Miroku asked as I ran up to them.
"Run...run like you have never run before," I said grabbing ahold of Saiyaka as I ran past.
Miroku a little confused looked back to where I had been running from, it was then he saw what I was running from, a very angry and wet Inuyasha came running down the path with a giant boulder in his hands. The hairs on the back of Miroku's neck stook up as he started to run away, Inuyasha was not in a very good mood.
"Ahh Inuyasha what's going on," Miroku said as he ran.
"Will you people just leave us alone," Inuyasha said tossing the boulder.
The massive rock landed right behind Miroku knocking him over.

[Chibi-chan]

"Tach? May I ask why we are running away?" Saiyaka asked laughing. "I mean...It's a mutt with a boulder...I doubt that he could do much damage. Well, maybe he could to you, but not to me," she said with a smirk.

When she saw that they were far away enough from the lake and Inuyasha, Saiyaka stopped herself and Tach. "Well, that was very interesting," she laughed, shaking her head a bit. She brushed her hair with her fingers, smiling. "What to do now...Our time was cut a little short with all the spying and such," she stated.

I glared over at Saiyaka, my left ear twitching becuase of that coment she made. But I just sighed and smiled at her, I looked around us, we had run off into the middle of no where. I just ploped myself onto the ground and folded my legs and arms.
"This looks like a find place to be, it dosent seem like there is anyone around so, we can talk if you want," I said looking up at her.
Even though we have known eachother for awhile now, and we are really close. I still dont know all that much about her, except for the obvious of course, I knew about her and Naraku, how she was killed those many years ago.
"And I knew she used to have a crush on Sesshomaru...or atleast I hope she used too...I mean she said she loved me that means she dosent like him anymore...right. Even if she did she still likes me better, I know I am at least better looking, and I dont have the personality of a rock," I suddenly stoped talking, realizing that I was thinking outloud.
I slowly turned my head around and looked at her.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka blinked at him for a while, then laughed, sitting next to him and resting her head on his shoulder. "You need to realize when you're talking out loud," she whispered to him. "There's a reason that I had a bit of love for him, but that's all in the past," she assured him, but seemed to be trying to assure herself more. "I love you, and I already told you that. It's something that I didn't tell Sesshomaru, and to be honest, he only said my name that one time!"

"He only said your name once, something tells me that relationship never would have worked out," I laughed still a little embarresed.
Well I had just sucessfuly made a fool out of myself, but it all turned out good in the end. Well it was turning out good, that was untill I felt an all to familiar presance. But this time it didnt appear behind me, it was right infront of me. It was him again, and he was staring me strait in the eye. His white Baboon skin was kinda hard to miss when mixed with all those trees. I didnt even bother getting up, I just looked strait back at him.
"Naraku...what do you want," I said pearing over at him.
Naraku slowly came out of the forest, a group of his demon wasps the Saimyosho were with him. He grinned slightly underneith his baboon skin and stopped.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka saw Naraku and stood up, looking at him with an expression of fear on her face. She looked at the insects and held an arm out towards them. One from the swarm flew over to her and landed on her hand. "What do you want here?" she asked, focusing on the demon wasp so that she wouldn't have to look at Naraku. "If you've come here to take me back, I think you know what I will answer," she told him. "So please turn around and leave!"

I slowly got to my feet, Naraku watched me carefully as I did, making sure I didnt try anything. I straitened myself out and foucused on him again, the demon wasps of his quickly formed infront of him. When I took a step closer to Naraku, one of them quickly moved towards me stopping right in front of my face. I just moved to the side and walked right passed it.
"Naraku, its a surprise to see you here like this. It appears you have chosen to come here yourself instead of sending one of your demon puppets instead," I said walking ever closer to him.
"Well I thought I should see you in person, considering how close you have come to my dear Saiyaka here. I thought it only nessecary," Naraku said removing the baboon skin from over his face.
I stopped just feet away from him, and just smiled. This was really interesting, was he here to kill me and take Saiyaka back...or was he playing nice for once.
"Naraku...I have a hard time beleiving the only reason for your being here, is to give us your blessings. Now why have you truly come, and I better not get one of your lies, I have a nack for getting angry when people lie to me," I said grinning.
"I see, then I suppose I should get right to the point," Naraku said walking to the side some.
"Good, lets here it then, you have my full attention," I said fallowing him with my eyes.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka came up behind Tach, looking at Naraku and frowning a little. Even if she was created from him, she had a hard time knowing if he was lying or not. For some reason, she was almost tempted to go and stand by his side, now that he had removed the part of the pelt that had been covering his head. He hardly ever wore it back at the castle, and she felt more comfortable around him when he had it off. That was probably because she could see his expressions much more easier.

"I doubt that he came here to give his 'blessings', period!" Saiyaka scowled, her eyes narrowing a little. The demon wasp had now moved to her shoulder, buzzing softly in her ear. "I swear...If you came here to harm Tach again, I will hurt you back twice as worse!" she warned, though it was a very empty threat. She knew that she wouldn't be able to hurt Naraku badly.

"Dont worry Saiyaka, even if he wanted to hurt me, he couldnt," I said laughing a little.
"Oh and why is that," Naraku asked.
"Maybe its becuase this entire time, you have been standing in one big trap," I said pointing at a small object on the ground.
Naraku looked to the ground, and all around him were these tiny nubs, very similar to the ones on my bombs. But instead of a wick, there was a small twig sticking out of each one.
"The moment you step on one of those, you and your demon wasps all go up in a ball of flame. Now, exaplain to me why you have come," I said looking at the small devicses.
"Very well then," Naraku said smiling at the whole situation," The reason I have come, is to ask you to join me. And help me to gather the shards of the Shikon Jewel, so together we can be all powerful and rule over this land."
I could barely keep in my laughter, I could not beleive he was asking me this, but I figured I would humor him for awhile.
"Allright then, what's in it for me, it better be good, considering I would probably end up having to kill Inuyasha and the others," I asked still trying to hold back my laughter.

[Chibi-chan]

"What are you trying to do?!" Saiyaka asked Naraku, eyes narrowed slightly. "You know that he would never join you..." she stated, then looked at Tach in surprise when he asked what he would get out of joining. "You're not seriously going to be thinking of joining him, even if he does give you something worth while, right?!" she questioned, gripping tightly onto his hand. There was no way that Tach would turn against the others, nor would he dare trip his little trap that he made for Naraku. Or was there? Saiyak closed her eyes and bit down on her lip.

[Red Dragon]

Inuka watched the exchange with a hunters precision. She had been tailing the group for quite some time and never came upwind of then in case they caught her scent. She glanced down at the human pup she had in her arms. She had decided to call her Kira since she couldn't remember her name. Inuka stiffened as a short white hair envaloped in HIS scent passed over them. She peaked out form the bushes to find him, Naraku talking to them. The air was tense between them, she was thankfull of that. She growled deep in her throat as she watched them hate radiating off of her. Kira looked up, worried and cuddled closer to Inuka to try and cunfort her. No amount of comfort however was going to smooth down her fur. She did stop growling so they wouldn't be heard. She wanted to help them so they in turn might help her and Kira but she waited as they countinued to talk. She saw the way the one called Tach looked at Saiyaka. They were a pair to be sure. It would have been sort of cute to see them both love struck, that is if it weren't for that creature...

(OOC: Okay I tried posting this same things TEN TIMES!!! and my dumb computer kept saying "Page Cannot be Displayed. I finally got it to work, dumb things. Oh and I see we have a new person, this is cool :D )

"But of course I could not allow Inuyasha and his companions to remain alive, that again is where you would come in. Of course you would be greatly rewarded for this. You would rule this land as my captain of the guard, and you would be able to say with Saiyaka for ever," Naraku said rather happy that I was considering this.
"Well this whole offer sounds very appealing...except for the part where I have to betray and kill my friends that is," I said growing angry.
Naraku saw my expressions change, and his did as well.
"At what point did you seriously think I would join you, you must have gone temporarily insain," I said reaching for my sword.
"If you will not join me, then you will die," Naraku said taking a step forward.
Narakus foot came down ontop of one of the little nubs in the ground, pushing the little twig down, his eyes widened with surprised as he looked down at where is had stepped. I let go of my sword and smiled.
"Whoopsie," I said smiling.
I spun around and put myself infront of Saiyaka just as the small bomb in the ground exploded. Naraku flew into the air, the Saimyosho he had with him dissapeared into the flame as he landed on a nearby tree. He looked back down at me and dropped his burning baboon skin on the ground. He was not a very happy camper.
"Hear me now Half Breed, you will die sooner or later. I will promise you that," Naraku said as he dissapeared once again.
I turned back around and looked at where Naraku had dissapeared too, smoke billowed out of the ground where the bomb had went off, it also left quite the crater in its place.
"I think I made him angry," I said looking off into the distance.

Saiyaka let out a small whimper as she felt the heat of the fire, and wretched herself out of Tach's arms, getting as far away from the fire as she could so that she could no longer feel it. She landed up in a tree a few feet away and huddled up in the branches, shaking out of pure fear. "Why bombs? It just had to be bombs...That's how the fire started...That damn man used bombs, too!" the half demon whimpered. She still remembered the sound of the explosion from that day, and Saiyaka cringed again.

(OOC: Holy crap, way off topic but there is a huge Racoon outside my window right now, its eating all the bird food out of the feeder...damd that thing is cute. I am now effectionitly naming him Hatchi. Yeah I know stupid, but what can I say, I am a weird guy)

Saiyaka had jumped away, I didnt blame her. I mean I told the idgit that if he steped on them it would explode. What a moron, I looked back at Saiyaka in the tree. I had tried to keep the heat from her, but with that much gun powder going off, I wasnt surprised by the heat it created. And the fire was still burning, I faced the small flames on the ground and pulled out my sword.
"Go out you damded flames," I said swining by blade at them.
A slight wind was created from by blade and the fire was blown out. I sheathed my sword again and walked over to Saiyaka who was up in a tree. Crap why did I have to go and do that, I had compleatly forgotten they were there untill Naraku had shown up. Thats what I get for lay a bomb feild just to see what happens. I walked up underneith the tree and looked up. I jumped up and landed on the branch next to Saiyaka.
"Hey are you allright, I'm sorry that happened, I had compeatly forgotten that I had put those there the night before," I said putting an arm around her.
Damd thats right, we had run right through that same spot before, if just even one of us had stepped on one of those damded contraptions, then this would have been alot worse. I need to get rid of these things quickly before something else happens.
"Saiyaka, why dont we go back to the others, then I will come back here and take care of these stupid things," I said feeling pretty bad about the whole mess.

[Chibi-chan]

(( Ahahah! Yes! Hatchi the raccoon! Go m1! ))

Saiyaka looked at Tach and suddenly clutched onto him, burrying her face into his shoulder. "Why do you have to use bombs?" she muttered under her breath, then sighed a little. "That's another fear I have...I don't like them very much, but I didn't tell you, so that's my fault...You seriously forgot that you put those there last night?" she asked, looking up at him after she finished trembling.

"Let me ask you...what would have happened if we would have come across those?!" the half demon asked, shaking her head a little. She found herself laughing, despite the fact that she was scared to death at this point. "It would have been me dead all over again by the same thing!" she laughed.

"You be killed by one of those things, you shouldnt even have to worry about that. They are mearly a warning device, the bulk of the blast is directed downwards into the ground, the stuff that comes up is mainly just dirt smoke and some flame. They are hardly deadly. Thats why Naraku was able to escape," I said reasuring Saiyaka.

Well that was partcially true, I wasnt being exactly honest about the magnitude of the downward blast, not only was the mixture of gun powder I have been using extreamly volitile, but I have been increasing its power using Kokoru's fox magic. Shame on me for that, it was my idea in the first place. If I had accidently planted one of those right side up, it would not only have killed me and Saiyaka, but the blast would have been large enough to even kill Naraku, now thats a blast.
"If it makes you feel better, I will get rid of all the bombs and other explosive devices I have been making lately. Will that make you feel a little better," I said holding her tightly.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka smiled a little and nodded, closing her eyes as Tach hugged her. "I suppose that the information does reassure me," she said. "Though I don't think it was a good idea to lure Naraku into your trap. Since he got blasted a little bit, you're not going to be his favorite person, just to let you know," she said with a sigh. "Him comming back here for revenge on you is something that I really don't want..." she sighed.

"As for your bombs...You don't have to get rid of those...You just have to warn me in advance before you use them so that I can get as far away from you as possible!" she said with a laugh.

(OOC: The racoon is still there, and he has officially eaten half of our 40 pound bag of bird seed. He is going to get fat if he keeps that up...oh wait...to late he is allready fat)

I smiled and laughed at Saiyaka's comment, but there was still one itsy bitsy problem with the whole situation. With all this stuff happening at once, I kinda had Kokoru start making something of an...arsenal if you want to call it, of different types of explosive devices that I thought we may need to use down the road.
"Well I was kinda allready planning to keep my bombs, its the other...items that I have that may cause some problems," I said scratching my head nervously.

[Chibi-chan]

"I see...And what kind of items are these, may I ask?" Saiyaka asked, raising a brow slightly. "I don't mind what you have, as long as you warn me before you use them...I don't want to end up whimpering like a little baby in front of that damn mutt, you know!" she said in a serious tone, crossing her arms and looking at him.

[m1abrams]

"Maybe I will just get rid of them before we leave, they umm kinda...make really large booms," I said laughing nervously.
"Come on you two love birds lets go, we dont want to wait all day," Inuyasha yelled from across the field.
I turned my head and saw the group standing there, they looked all ready to leave. I jumped down from the tree branch holding onto my sword as I fell. I picked my head up again when I landed.
"Hang on we will be right there," I yelled back.
"Well hurry up allready," Inuyasha said impaciantly.
I just kinda ignored Inuyasha and turned around and looked up at Saiyaka.
"Hey you ready to go," I asked her.

Saiyaka laughed some and shook her head a bit, then looked over at Inuyasha, "Once, I would just love to stick his own foot in his mouth," she muttered, jumping down from the tree and landing beside Tack. "How about learning how to be paticient for a change, mutt?" she yelled to him, rolling her eyes.

She nodded to Tach when he asked if she was ready. "Yeah, more or less...Let's just look like we're getting a move on so that the stupid mutt up there doesn't have too much of a fit," she suggested, taking Tach's hand.

We all walked along the road now, it was yet again a nice day. The sun was shinning as usually...wiat a second strike that last comment. The skys started to get dark, as clouds starting moving in from the east.
"Huh, it looks like it might rain," I said looking at the dark clouds.
"Yeah, those clouds sure are dark, I wondering if it will thunder and lightning as well," Kokoru asked as she appeared on my shoulder.
"Beats me, lets just hope it holds off for now," I said as the clouds filled in the last part of blue sky.
No more than a few seconds after I said that, rain drops started to fall around us. I just kinda sighed and kept walking, not like I had anything to cover myself up with. I looked ahead of me at Kagome, she pulled out a pink umbrella. She poped it open and covered herself and Inuyasha with it.
"Well I best go find some sort of a large leaf, or something," I said with a sigh.
Before I could go much father, Kagome appeared infront of me, two large cone shapped hats (They have name I just dont remember it) I gave one to Saiyaka and put the other one on.
"Well this looks stupid," I said frowning.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka laughed some and twirled the tip of the hat around on her finger, not bothering to put it on. "Why do people feel that they have to keep the rain off of them? Why not enjoy it?" she asked, examining the hat. "I mean...It kind of looks rediculous to wear these things," she commented. Then she smirked, noticing Inuyasha under the pink umbrella. "Ah, and wook at wittle Inuyasha..." she teased.

"Well, you're certianly a special one," Miroku said, grinning a little bit, knowing that Saiyaka knew he ment a number of ways. This little comment rewarded Miroku with a smack on the head as Saiyaka whacked him with the hat.

"Idiot," Shippou said as he looked at Miroku.
"I second that," Kokoru said raising a fist as she sat on my shoulder.
I just started laughing, not only becuase I looked compleatly stupid in this damd hat, but becuase Miroku yet again got smaked upside the head. Strange though, Saiyaka has flat out mocked Inuyasha and he proceeded to do nothing about it. There was no yelling, no punching hitting name calling. I apeared behind Inuyasha, pearing over once shoulder, the the other. Trying to see what was going on, I then decided to look down at his hands. And would you look at that, he was actually holding Kagome hand.
"Inuyasha," I said appearing at his side.
"What is it," He said looking over at me.
"Are you still mad at me becuase of what I saw before," I asked him slightly seriously.
"Will you keep it down," Inuyasha said trying to keep it quite.
"What its not like I said anything...that would give it away," I said joking around.
"Yeah well you sure as hell better not," Inuyasha said a vain poping out on his forhead.
"Oh you dont worry yourself about me, I would say a word to anyone, I promise," I said falling back.
Inuyasha grumbled as I came back next to Saiyaka and grabbed her hand again, she seemed to be having fun in the rain. Thas not really surprising, since water puts out fire and all. I still was all tingly inside because of the evil little secret I was keeping for Inuyasha and Kagome...I so just wanted to blurt it out right now.

Saiyaka stared between Inuyasha and Tach, blinking a little bit, knowing that something important was going on. Like a secret or something that Inuyasha wanted to be kept quiet about. When Tach came back to her side, she stared at him as if she was expecting to burn a hole through him or something. "What's all that about?" she asked, nodding towards Inuyasha. "You know something that I don't?" she questioned, prodding him gently in the ribs.

"I'm sorry but I promised I wouldnt say a word to anyone...That is a promise between friends," I said acting all loyal.
"Sure what ever you say, I know you will blurt it out sooner or later, you always do," Kokoru said as she stared at me.
"Go a ruin my fun why dont ya," I said anoyed.
"Well its true you know, the last time I entrusted you with a secret you went and blurted it out to the closet stranger you could find," Kokoru said knocking me in the side of the head.
"That is totaly un true, I would never do that. And besides this is a much bigger secret than yours Kokoru," I said pulling on one of her ears.
"Yeah and how's that," She asked pulling on my face.
"Becuase taking a bath in the lake is much more important than your family issues," I said pulling back.
Inuyasha's ears twitched when I blurted that out, he quickly spun around and gave me a very evil look. Just letting me know that if anyone else herd that I was a dead man. But I was too loud, and Sango and Miroku leaned in very close to me.
"Bathing in the lake...who was bathing in the lake," Miroku asked.
"Uhh I dont know what you are talking about really," I said nervously.
"Is that why Inuyasha was chasing you with a rock...becuase you saw him and Kagome bathing in the lake...at the same time...Together!" Miroku said practically shouting.
"I really have no idea what you are talking about," I said nervously looking at Inuyasha.

Saiyaka blinked a little and laughed when Tach blurted it out. "Oh, remind me never to entrust you with any secrets, Tach," she said, taking a break from laughing. She looked a Miroku, then at Tach and raised a brow slightly. "Is that what you really saw?" she questioned, trying to restrain from laughing again. "Did they really take a bath together? I don't think that's the case...Kagome wouldn't allow it!" she said, looking at Kagome to see her reaction.

Kagome was as reder than a damd lobster, she didnt saw a word but the expression on her face kinda said it all. Inuyasha grumbled and turned his head and looked at me, his eye was twitching and vains were poping out of his head. I gulped and started to back away, stepping in a large puddle in the process.
"Now Inuyasha, dont be rash now," I said backing off.
Inuyasha was litterally flaming as he walked towards me, Kagome was just so embaressed that she was kinda frozen in place. Inuyasha came ever closer to me as I hid behind Saiyaka.
"Really now must we resort to violence," I said pearing over Saiyaka's shoulder.

Saiyaka blinked at the look on Kagome's face, and she turned to Tach as he hid behind her. "So...It's true, then..." she hissed, eyes narrowing dangerously as she took out the stone that would deal out his punishment. "That means that you must have seen Kagome naked!" she hissed, gripping onto the stone. "Didn't you?!"

My face wnet almost compleatly blank with fear, now not only was Inuyasha bearing down on me, but so was Saiyaka. I backed away even more, I fell over a rock and onto butt. I started to crawl backwards.
"Now come on, its not like I tried too. It was a complete accident really it was," I said pushing myself backwards," I mean its not like I wanted to see them together like that, plus Saiyaka you the only one I would want to see naked..."
No...no I did not just say that, that did not just come out of my mouth. I gulped again as they grew ever closer. That comment sure to make her even more angry with me, and not to metion Inuyasha, once he got ahold of me.
"This is interesting," Sango said as she watched the events.
"Yes very interesting indeed, it appears Inuyasha and Saiyaka have a common goal now, to beat every last thread of life from Tach's body," Miroku said nodding his head.
My hand slipped on a wet rock and I fell on my back, I picked myself up again and whimpered. Yeah I was dead...
"Oh this is gonna hurt," I squeked.

"You did see her naked! I knew it!" Saiyaka hissed, then blinked some as Tach said the last part out loud in front of everybody. She quickly went scarlet in seconds and gripped the stone tighter. "...Oh, you know that I love you, but you are a dead man right now!" she hissed in a rather deadly voice. She held the stone up and glared at Tach. "Stand up now!" she whispered in the same deadly voice. When he didn't seem like he was going to, Saiyaka looked at Inuyasha.

"Gladly..." Inuyasha said, without arguement, then went over to Tach and picked him up by the back of his shirt, placing his feet on the ground. He looked over at Saiyaka, nodded, and backed away from Tach.

Saiyaka gave Tach a death glare and said the magic word...About a good twenty times, in fact. "SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT!"

My face was piled into the ground, again and again and again. When the horror was over, I couldnt move an inch, mainly becuase I was about 6 feet in the ground. Kokoru and Shippou were the first to pear over into the giant crater I lay in.
"Master Tach, are you allright," kokoru yalled down.
"....uhhh...oweee," I managed to say from inside the crater.
"Thats just...horrible, I dont belive I have ever seen get that many sit commands at one time," Miroku said an eye twitching a little as he looked at the whole.
"That must have hurt," Sango said just as astonished.
Inuyasha went back over to Kagome, who was just as surprised by the number of Sits, but was pleased at the same time. She just smiled at Inuyasha, who also felt quite happy with how the whole situation turned out.
One very dirty and scratched hand reached up out of the whole and grabbed onto a chuck of dirt. I slowly pulled myself out of the whole.

Saiyaka was still beat red with embarrasment and she glared at Tach, looking into the hole as well. "It serves you right for being so loud!" she scowled, then turned her back on him, crossing her arms and shaking her head. "If you're going to say something like that in front of everybody, that's the punishment you will get!"

"Yes mam," I said laying on the ground.
"Your truly do need to have your mouth taped shut," Kokoru said leaning over me.
I reached around and grabbed Kokoru by her tail and chucked her after that comment, I slowly got to my feet, rubbing the back of my head as I went. When I straitened myself out, everyone kinda looked at me strange.
"Now what," I asked.
"Oh nothing, its just we are used to seeing Inuyasha pulling himself out of a hole, not you," Miroku said sarcastically.
"Glad to know I have picked up the slack between us," I said glaring at Miroku.
"Well you deserved it really," Shippou said.
"Yeah I about figured that much," I said stepping on him.
I looked over at Saiyaka, who was still rather red in the face. She was either still mad at me, or supper embaressed by my comments. I brushed myself off and started walking down the road again. I picked up the hat I was wearing before that was keeping me dry, I stuck the stupid thing back on my head and walked passed everyone.
"Well what are you all waiting for, you have had your fun now lets get moving," I said kinda anoyed by everyones constant staring.
"Your not mad are you," Sango asked.
"Mad, of course not, why should I be mad, I mean I was only drilled into the ground about 6 feet," I said not looking back at them.
"Yeah well you deserved it," Inuyasha said walking after me.
"Yes I realized I deserved it, now can we please drop it allready," I said shooting Inuyasha a nasty glare and walking off.

Saiyaka let out a sigh, the blushing going to minimum now. Shaking her head, she walked behind Tach, closing her eyes. Sorry, Tach...I didn't really mean to overdo it like that, she thought, scratching the back of her head. "I...I didn't hurt you too bad, did I?" she whispered, loud enough for only him to hear.

"Naa I'm fine, it only hurt for the first 30 seconds then after that I kinda went numb all over," I said smiling.
"Does that include your head," Kokoru said re apearing.
"Oh your like a bad itch," I said grabing her by the tail and looking at her upsidedown.
"Only becuase you keep doing stupid things," Kokoru yelled back.
"You need to loose that aditude of yours," I grumbled.
"And and why is that," She said grabbing ahold of my face and pulling on it.
"Becuase your irritating me," I said pulling on hers.
I yanked on Kokoru's face for a minute before she got out of my grip and scrambled onto the ground, she picked up a rock and chucked it at my forhead. I chased after her for a minute before I finally just said forget it and went back to Saiyaka.
"Little pain in butt," I grumbled," Sorry about that, she gets cranky like that when it rains. Now about Naraku's Castle, are we headed the right way?"

Saiyaka blinked at the two of them and began to laugh a little, shaking her head as she did. "You two act like siblings," she told them. After they stopped fighting and Tach gave the suggestion to get going, she nodded. She started to head in the direction, but stopped quite suddenly. "...Hold on...I'm going to check something out," she said, turning to the right all of the sudden, into a wooded area.

Inuyasha looked at her, raising a brow slightly. "Oh yeah? What's up?" he asked, crossing his arms. "You want somebody to go with you, or do you want to talk to Naraku alone?"

Saiyaka shot him a death glare and shook her head. "What the hell makes you think it's Naraku?" she sighed. "It's not him...It's...Kagura..."

"Kagura," I said a little surprised.
Well at least I knew we must be getting close, or to a point where Naraku wouldnt like us to be at. I reached behind me and removed my black katana, no wanting it even remotly near me when I fought. I tossed it at Inuyasha, who almost dropped it.
"Whats this for," He asked.
"Just keep it safe, and what ever you do dont un sheath it," I said as I jumped after Saiyaka.
"Do you think we should fallow them," Miroku asked Sango.
"Yes, Inuuyasha you stay behind with Kagome, we will help out Saiyaka and Tach," Sango said as she started to run off with Miroku.
"Yeah but..." Inuyasha yelled out.
Before he could finish, Sango and Miroku dissapeared, he sighed and turned around and faced Kagome.
"Well I guess we are staying here for now," Inuyasha said sitting down.
"Guess so," Kagome said smiling.
Okay this was wierd, what did Kagura want with Saiyaka, and futher more wich way did Saiyaka run off too. The rain was heavy enough so that it was distorting her sent, it was going to be tricky to find her quickly.
"Damd it Kagura, what do you want now," I said to myself as I ran through the woods.

[Chibi-chan]

It didn't take Saiyaka all that long to find Kagura. When she did find the demon of wind, the half demon crossed her arms and sighed. "What do you want, Kagura?" she asked, closing her eyes. "Come to take me back to Naraku?" she questioned. "If so, I'm not very surprised..."

"Ah...I knew that you would feel the wind that I had sent towards you," Kagura said with a bit of a smirk. "I haven't come here to talk you back into comming, or even to force you," she replied. "I've just been wanting you to meet somebody. Well, I don't care if you meet him, but Naraku really would like it," she corrected.

"Let me guess...It's another one of his oh-so-famous incarnations?" Saiyaka asked, shaking her head a little. "Why does he want me to meet this one?" she questioned.

"You bastard," I yelled as I swung my sword at a large bug demon.
The demon was easily sliced in two by my blade, but right behind it was the rest of the hord. There were too many for just me to take on alone.
"Hiraikotsu!"
Sango's giant boomarange came flying from out of no where and sliced through the hord of demons. I looked back just in time to see her catch the massive weapon in her hand.
"Dont think I was going to stay behind either," Inuyasha said as he jumped over Sango and Miroku," Wind Scar!"
Inuyasha's wind scar flew into the air and just about decimated the rest of the demons, that is when Miroku stepped in. He raised his palm and looked at the rest of the demons as they approched.
"Huh...Wind Tunnel!"
The strong winds pulled the demons strait into Miroku's hand, when they had all dissapeared into the void, he quickly covered it back up with his prayer beads.
"Thanks guys," I said putting my sword away.
"Yeah well its not like I was going to let you take all the credit," Inuyasha said resting the Tetsuiga on his shoulder.
"Did you see where Saiyaka ran off too," Sango asked.
"No, I compleatly lost he sent after that hord of demons attacked me. I have no clue where she went," I said looking out into the forest.
"She couldnt have gone far, lets go try and find her," Kagome said appearing behind Inuyasha.
"Right, lets go," I said turning around and running off.

[Chibi-chan]

"Considering all we have been through, I really didn't want to introduce you to the newest member of our family," Kagura said, rolling her eyes as she said the word 'family'. "The reason being...You really won't like it, and I hate to put you in such pain. Even though you piss me off most of the time," Kagura explained.

"I'm so flattered by that," Saiyaka said, copying Kagura and rolling her eyes as well. "Just get it over with and introduce me to this new incarnation so that I can take its head from its shoulder," she snapped, looking at Kagura with the upmost impatience.

Kagura sighed and closed her eyes, then opened her fan and hid her face behind it. "If that's what you wish, though I don't think you'll find the strength to over come it..."

The new incarnation came forth, slithering on lower body. The lower body was snake-like, while the upper part was something that looked like a weasle. It looked down at Saiyaka and smirked, showing pointed teeth. "Ah...Sssso sssshe'ssss the one, is sssshe?" he asked.

Saiyaka was concentrating on this creature, but she saw Kagura give a nod out of the corner of her eye. "I'm Saiyaka...The one who's going to get rid of you...I have a large enough family already, and I don't think I want you to be a part of it," she explained, getting out her katana.

"That'sssss what you think!" the new incarnation said, eying Saiyaka with red eyes. He suddenly reared back and opened his mouth, flames shooting from it. The fire quickly encircled the half demon girl, not even giving her an inch of room between her and the flames. "I don't think you can handle it, from what I've been told!" he laughed.

Saiyaka was now frozen in spot, her eyes wide as the flames licked at her skin, burning her slightly. "No...No, not fire! Put it out!" she screamed, placing her hands over her head and whimpering. "It burns...It's too hot!" she whispered. "I don't want to be in here! Kagura...please help me!"

I fell from the sky strait at the beast that was breathing fire onto Saiyaka, the creature, or what ever the hell it was looked up at me with one eye as my blade came down.
"I dont think Sssooo," the demon litteraly hissed as it turned its head towards me.
The flame still danced around Saiyaka even thought the demon had started shooting it at me. I didnt care if this thing was a snake or not, he just sure as hell better not touch me. I slashed at the demon but he moved, and as he did, he revealed a large number of much smaller snakes.
"Oh crap," I said as I tried to avoid landing in them.
When my feet touched the ground, one of the slithered onto my foot, my face went green as I felt it there. I quickly kicked it away and jumped back.
"Damd you you stupid snake...thing, wait untill my blade finds you," I said rather angry.
"I dont beleive that you will have time to kill me, before your prescious Sssaiyaka is burned allive," the demon said looking over at the circle of flame.
"What...Saiyaka," I said as I tried to jump towards her.
Before I could get very far, the demon appeared infront of me and smashed me to the ground with his tail. I hit the ground so hard it knocked the wind out of me.
"Dont worry, I'll take care of him," Inuyahsa said as he flew over me.
I got to my feet as quickly as I could, Inuyasha was keeping the snake demon busy just long enough so I could get Saiyaka. I ran up to the flames, the heat was so intense I couldnt get to close.
"Screw it, I dont care how hot this is," I said as I ran at the flame.
I peirced through the intense heat and then the flame, and when I got inside the flame, there was Saiyaka, frozen with fear. I quikcly ripped off my kimono top and put it over her head.
"Dont worry Saiyaka, I'll get us out of here," I said holding her tightly.

Saiyaka just trembled in Tach's arms, not even seeming to realize that he was there. Her skin had been burned quite badly now, her arms and her face especially. "I'm going to die again..." she murmured, sounding dazed and frightened as she spoke. "...It's going to take me...consume me...so damn hot..." she whispered.

"Ssssso...Inuyassssha!" the snake/weasle said flashing his teeth at the half demon. It whipped it's tail and Inuyasha and coiled around him tightly, holding the mutt in place. Laughing it looked over at the ring of fire that had Saiyaka and Tach inside of it. "Look at her...Ssshe'sss terrified," he commented. Fire built up in his mouth as he was about to shoot a fireball, but it suddenly disappeared as something cut through the demon, slicing it in half. The lower body released Inuyasa and the top gaped at its lower body as it wriggled around on the ground. "Who?!"

Kagura landed on the ground beside the decapitated demon, her fan unfolded. "Me," she answered, then looked towards the ring of fire and raised her fan in the air, bringing it down ward. The wind created from the fan was strong enough to put the fire out.

I turned my head just enough to see Kagura as she put her fan down...she had saved us. But why, of all people why would she have saved us. It didnt matter, I turned my attention back to Saiyaka, who even though I had tried to rap in my shirt. Was badly burned. I slowly laid her down on the ground, using my shirt as a pillow.
"Damit..." I growled as I looked her over.
"Tach," Kagome yelled as her and the rest of the group ran towards me.
"Kagome, get some water quickly," I yelled back to her before she could reach me.
"Right I'm on it," Kagome said nodding and running off.
"What do you need us to do," Miroku asked as he reached my side.
I sat there for a moment, looking over the burns on her body. I couldnt, think of anything. I didnt know...I didnt know what to do.
"Tach...what do you need us to do for you," Miroku said putting his hand on my left arm.
"What do you mean for me," I asked confused.
"You mean you dont even fel it," Sango asked surprised.
"Feel what," I asked.
"Your arm its..."
Miroku just stopped Sango, and they stepped back. I still didnt know what the hell they were talking about, I just returned my gaze back to Saiyaka. I didnt even notice, that the intense flame has also compleatly burned my left arm to a point where it was almost black. When I finally did notice, it was only for a split second.
"I got the water," Kagome said comming up to my side with a pale of water.

Saiyaka just laid there, her eyes only half open at the moment, and they were blank, holding no expression or recognizion as her friends looked down on her. She was only murmuring softly, tears falling down her burnt face. "...Daddy...Where are you? It's too hot...I can't find you...Can't breathe, can't...too much smoke...It hurts...I have to find you..."

Kagura looked over at Saiyaka as she spoke and closed up her fan. "I shouldn't have waited so long," she muttered, taking a feather out of her hair, looking like she was ready to go, but was stopped when Sango called out her name.

"You saved her and Tach...Why?" Sango questioned, looking at Kagura. Her eyes told the wind demon that the demon slayer didn't trust her at all. "What kind of trick are you and Naraku playing?! Does he want her back that badly?" she questioned.

"...I don't always obey Naraku...Besides he wants Saiyaka alive. As do I, but I'm not about to explain why I want her to live," Kagura answered, supersizing the feather and hopping on it. "Just...be sure to take care of her," she said without looking back at them.

I watched as Kagura left, both happy she had saved Saiyaka, but mad at her at the same time for even letting this happen to her. I took a damp cloth and put it on Saiyaka's forhead, her face was even burned. Some of the burnt skin was starting to peal off allready. If she wasnt a half demon, then she would have probably been killed by these burns.
"Tach, your arm, is it allright," Inuyasha asked me.
"Its fine," I said not tearing my gaze away from Saiyaka.
"You sure, it looks pretty burnt up," Inuyasha said stepping closer.
"I said its fine!" I shouted as I spun my head around.
Tears were begining to form in the bottom of my eyes as I got to my feet. Inuyasha watched me carefully as I walked passed him.
"Take good care of her," I said as I walked off.
"Where are you going," Kagome asked.
"To find Naraku...and kill him," I said not stopping.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka was, at the moment, delusional. She managed to get to her feet and get in front of Tach, her eyes still only half open. Right now, she didn't know who he was, considering that she wasn't right in the mind at the moment. "Don't hurt daddy!" she hissed, ignoring the pain and reaching for her katana. "I'll kill you first!"

"Saiyaka! What are you doing?!" Miroku gasped, going over to her and trying to stop her by grabbing her wrists. "Get a hold of yourself...Naraku's the one th-" he tried to explain, but staggered back as Saiyaka had drawn her katana. Blood dripped down the side of his arm, falling to the ground.

"I won't let him be killed again..." Saiyaka whispered, looking at the blood on the blade. "I won't let him be hurt..."

"She's lost it..." Inuyasha said, starring at Saiyaka as he drew his Tetsaiga. "She's planning to kill us all to protect Naraku!" he hissed, looking at Miroku as Sango ran over to him.

I looked at Saiyaka's Katana, and then at her eyes. I could tell she was not herself, her eyes no longer had any emotion or expresion in them. She was still so badly injured that she didnt realize what she was doing.
"Tach stay back or she will try and kill you," Inuyasha said as he started to walk towards her.
"Stop Inuyasha...I can handle this," I said firmly.
I reached out and grabbed onto Saiyaka's blade, she was holding it so firmly, that I couldnt move it to one side or the other. But I wasnt trying to take it out of her hands. I squezed the blade tigher, the sharp end cutting into my hand. The cold emotionless look remained in Saiyaka's eyes as I stared strait at her.
"His hand its being cut to shreds," Kagome said as she watched me grab the blade.
The blood began running down my arm now as I started to twist the blade to the side, untill it snapped in the middle, small shards of metal were send flying through the air, shinning as they fell to the ground.
"He snapped the blade in two...how," Miroku said holding his arm.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka caught the smell of Tach's blood and she closed her eyes, stepping back. When she opened them, they had returned to normal, and she fell to the ground as she now felt the pain from the burns. The smell of Tach's blood made her look up at him and she cried out when she saw his injuries. Especially his burnt arm. "T-tach? What...How..." she whispered, sounding scared and hurt.

Kagome was going over to Tach, medical kit in hand. She took out the bandages and began to wrap it. "Saiyaka...You don't remember what you just did?" she asked softly, frowning.

Saiyaka looked at the ground and realized that she was holding something. She looked at the broken katana, then at the blade with Tach's blood on it. And another's. Miroku's blood was on there as well. "No...What did I do?!"

"You didnt do anything," I said as Kagome finished putting bandages on my arm.
I made a fist with my now compleatly covered arm and hand. The pain was nill compared to the other wounds I have received in the past so this was not going to be an issue. I walked back over to Saiyaka and pulled the remains of her Katana out of her hand and tossed it to the side.
"Yours burns are bad, we need to get you to a place where you can rest," I said kneeling down beside her.
"Yeah but there isnt a village any where near here," Miroku said getting up.
"If their isnt a village, then we will just have to find another place to stay," I said as I put my arms under Saiyaka.
"Such as..." Inuyasha said slightly sarcastically.
"I thought I saw an old temple not to far from here, we will go there," I said picking Saiyaka up," Once we are there we can tend to her burns."
I started to walk off in the direction I saw this old temple, the others fallowed a far distance behind me. I think they were a little confused, on what to say or do after what Saiyaka had done. But as far as I was concerned, she hadnt done anything. And it wasnt going to detur me from now...killing Naraku.

"Don't tell me that I didn't do anything," Saiyaka whispered, closing her eyes. "Your blood was on that sword, as was Mirokus...Both of you were injured. And...your arm," she whispered, looking at the burnt one. "You came in to save me, didn't you?" she asked quietly.

"I got my arm burnt becuase I was careless, it wasnt your fault. And I grabbed your sword, you did not attack me, so you dont need to worry about that," I said as carried her through the forest.
I stepped around a tree and caught sight of the temple, it was very old and looked like it was going to fall apart. I hadnt even noticed that the rain had stopped, but it looked like it would start up again any minute. I looked behind me at the others who were fallowing me.
"I found the temple, we should get inside before it starts to rain again," I called back to them.
They just nodded and we all made our way to the temple, when I reached the front door, it was closed. I pressed my hand against the door and forced it open, it creaked and small amounts of dust fell as I opened it. Just as well all walked inside, a loud crack of thunder peirced through the sky and the rain began to fall again.
"This temple...it looks like it was abandoned many years ago," Miroku said walking in.
"No not abandoned...look right infront of you," I said looking at the floor.
When Miroku looked down, the skelotons of what appeared to be monks lay all over the floor. A few of them had spears and swords still stuck loosely between the bones.
"What happened here," Kagome asked as she took a step behind Inuyasha.
"They were slaughter, by who and what I dunno, but right now that is not important," I said as I walked over the bodies.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka covered her nose, the stench of death seeming to bother her nose. It hurt for her to even reach up, considering the burns were all over her body, some places worse than others. Her kimono, she noticed, was all tattered and burnt. "Another good kimono gone," she murmured, closing her eyes.

Inuyasha also was covering his nose, looking at Saiyaka. "We're in a temple with the stench of death all over it, and all you worry about is your kimono?" he asked, rolling his eyes a little bit.

"Shut up, you stupid mutt..I'm really not in the mood right now," she grumbled. If she had her choice, she would be covered up completely so that the others couldn't see the hideous burns on her. "I probably looked much worse 50 years ago, after my body was found," she whispered under her breath.

"Leave her alone, Inuyasha...She's been through quite enough for today," Sango said, sighing some as she put her mask over her face. It was apparent that even she couldn't really handle the smell of decay.

"Miroku, can you preform a cerimony for them," I asked Miroku as I looked at all the bodies.
"Yes, just give me some time," Miroku replied.
I walked over to the large Buddha statue and looked up, there was old dried blood all over the front of it. I just growled and walked off, when I walked through a door, I found a room full of beds.
"Good, here we go Saiyaka, you just rest here while I go help the others clean up outside," I said as I put her down.
I was about to light a small candle that was just above her bed, but I quickly stoped myself. I looked back down at her, she was all covered in burns. I looked around for a blanket or something, when I found one I put it over her body. A flash of lightning lit up the room for just a moment before it was dark again. I kneeled down beside the bed and put a hand on her arm.
"I'm sorry...I'm sorry I couldnt get to you sooner. I promise I will never let something like this happen to you again," I said quietly.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka looked at Tach and shook her head a little bit. "No...Please don't be blaming yourself for this. I never should have gone off alone. I mean, it was only Kagura, and I doubt she would have been able to kill you and all. It's my fault for being a fool..." she murmured. "Speaking of Kagura...What happened to her after you got there? Did she cause you any trouble?"

"Trouble...no Kagura could never cause me any trouble even if she wanted to," I siad smiling," She did however...she did something I would have never expected her to do."
I was still pondering why she had saved Saiyaka in the first place, and killed that demon. It was like she was trying to protect Saiyaka from harm, I thought she hated Saiyaka, or atleast strongly dissliked her. I was about to tell Saiyaka that Kagura has saved her, when Inuyasha poked his head in.
"Tach, we need your help out here," Inuyasha said leaning against the doorway.
"Yeah I will be right there, just give me a minute," I said turning to look at Inuyasha.
Inuyasha nodded and then walked out, I looked back at Saiyaka and smiled. I got to my feet and walked towards the door. But stopped just as I was about to leave.
"Kagura saved your life, if it wasnt for her, both you and me would have probably been killed by that fire...I dont intend to try and figure out why she did. All I am greatful for is that she found it somewhere in her heart, to save you. Now get some rest, you will feel better if you sleep," I said as I stood in the doorway.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka looked at Tach in surprise, then nodded a bit. "I see..." she whispered, then closed her eyes as she tried to find a comfortable position on the bed. In the end, she just laid on her back. No position was comfortable, for the burns were killing her, no matter which way she slept. "I suppose...You should go and help them," she sighed.

"I'll be right back, once we have moved all the bodies out, I will come right back. I promise," I said as I left the room.
I walked out into the rest of the temple, Inuyasha and Miroku has begun moving the bodies outside. Inuyasha hade quite skillfully used the Tetsuiga to make enough graves for the monks. It took us a while to get them all moved outside, when we were done the rancid smell of dead human was all over my hands. And the temple still reaked of the scent. That was untill Kagome decided to scare the crap out of me, I jumped around when I herd this strange hissing noise. When I saw her she was had this odd thing in her hands and was spraying something all over the temple.
"What on earth is that," I asked looking at the strange object.
"Oh this, its an arasol spray, it will help to get rid of the smell," Kagome said as she sprayed the stuff all over the temple.
I walked into a cloud of the stuff and it started to make my eyes burn and my nose itch, I started to scratch at my face becuase it was so irritating.
"Man this stuff makes my eyes burn, stop spraying it allready," I said rubbing my eyes.
"Well you not suppose to walk strait into a cloud of it like that," Kagome explained.
"Well you should have warned me," I said as I walked off.
I walked back into the room I had left Saiyaka and closed the door, I didnt want anymore of that nasty stuff Kagome was spraying to come in here. I didnt know if Saiyaka was asleep or not so I just walked over to the bed across from hers and sat down on it. I put my sword at my side and leaned back watching over her.

Saiyaka opened her eyes, having felt Tach's presence. "Kagura and I...We argue quite a bit, but we really do get along when I don't say something stupid that hurts her pride," she told him, explaining why Kagura probably saved her and Tach. "We fight a lot, but would never really hurt one another...severely, that is," she added with a small laugh.

"I see so you are still awake," I said opening an eye," So you and Kagura actually get along do you. Well considering how you are kinda like sisters, I can see that happening."
I had almost just fallen asleep when Saiyaka spoke up, hearing that her and Kagura actually got along was surprising in some ways, but not in others. They have been around eachother for awhile now at least. And I am sure Naraku isnt around to watch them all the time, so they probably have alot of time to just sit and talk.
"Hey Tach can I come in," Kagome said from outside the doorway.
"Sure Kagome come on in," I said looking at the door.
The door slid open and Kagome and Sagno where standing there Kagome had her medical it in hand. Hse walked inside and shut the door again.
"Where is Inuyasha and the others," I asked.
"They are waiting outside, I thought it best if just me and Sango came in," Kagome said as she put her medical kit down.
I nodded my head and then closed my eyes again, as if to stay in the room while they bandaged her up, I herd Kagome snort a little. I opened my eyes again and saw she was glaring at me, a sweatdrop rolled down the side of my head and I smiled.
"What," I asked a little confused.
The next thing I knew I found myself outside the room, the door shut behind me. Inuyasha and the others looked up at me with a not so surprised look on their faces.
"You got shunned too huh," Miroku asked.
"Yeah I guess so," I said laughing.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka nodded some, and sighed. "Sister...Yeah, I suppose it's something close to that," she told Tach, smiling slightly. She head Kagome and Sango come in, looking at the medical kit. "Ah...We're going to play doctor, huh?" she asked, sighing a bit. "Hope you have enough bandages for almost my entire body," she told them.

Saiyaka laughed a little as the two girls actually forced out Tach. She shook her head sligtly and closed her eyes. "Wouldn't want him to watch this scene," she mumbled.

Kagome smiled and gave a nod, getting out the bndages. "I think that I have enough for you," she said, unwinding it. "Do you need help with getting those scraps of clothing off?" she asked, nodding to Saiyaka's shredded kimono.

Sango began to carefully removed them when Saiyaka nodded a little. "Just tell me if I hurt you," she said, removing the scraps of cloth that needed to be removed.

"So this Ramen its suppose to taste good," I said holding up the odly colored cup.
"Are you kidding me this is the best," Inuyasha said showing down on some.
"Indeed the food from Kagomes time is quite good," Miroku said as he slowly ate his.
"Well if you say so," I said shoving some in my mouth," Hey this is pretty good."
As I continued to chow down on my food, I was still thinking of Saiyaka, and if she was allright, they had been in there for ahwile now. I can understand why they kicked me out, I would image that the needed to bandage her entire body, so me being in there would have been kinda...odd.
"So Tach, when you fought Sesshomaru, how powerful was he," Inuyasha asked.
"Why do you want to know," I asked looking back at him.
"What I meant to say is how badly did you get your tail whooped," Inuyahsa said narrowing his eyes.
"Only a few minor wounds," I said looking on my arm.
"What about Sesshomaru, did you wound him," Miroku asked looking up at me.
"Only his pride, but thats good enough to me," I said eating more of the Ramen.
"If it were me there I would have compleatly kicked his tail," Inuyasha boasted.
"Don't be so cocky Inuyasha, it makes you look like an idiot," I said anoyed.
"I'll show you an idiot," he said throwing his chop sticks at me.
"Well that was childish," I said picking one of the chop sticks out of my hair.

[Chibi-chan]

"Ah...I see you've been rummaging through my stuff again," Kagome said, comming out out the room. "It took almost all of my bandages...She looks likea mummy right now," she stated, sighing and sitting down. "It must be very difficult for her," she added.

Sango nodded, shutting the door behind her. "Yes, she seemed to be in quite a bit of pain when we were wrapping her up," she said, frowning. "Everytime we made contact with her burns, she would try and bite herself to cancel out the pain," she said, wincing a little at the thought of it.

"Can I go and see her or is she asleep," I asked ready to jump as soon as I herd the word yes.
"Sure I dont see why not," Kagome said.
Before anyone could say anything else, I jumped to my feet and like a blur ran to the door, Kagome kinda looked dumbfounded when I dissapeared.
"Well its safe to say he is worried about her," Miroku said looking over at me as I went for the door.
"Yes, its very sweet actually, how they both care for eachother so much," Sango said sitting down.
I slowly opened the door and poked my head in, she was covered in the blanket on the bed. Kagome wasnt lying, she was compleatly covered in bandages. I quietly walked in and shut the door behind me. I went back to the bed I was sitting on before and re took the same position, my sword wich I had left in there, was still in the same spot. I grabbed it and craddled it in my arms as I folded my legs and arms and watched her carefully, not wanting to wake her up or disturb her. It was then I felt a slight breeze from outside. I looked over at the door that led to the outdoors, it was cracked open.
"Kagura, were you here," I asked myself outloud.
I did get a slight hint of her scent not long ago, I thought it was just my imagination. But had she really came to see Saiyaka in the few moments no one was in the room.

[Chibi-chan]

"I still am here," Kagura said, her voice comming from the open window. She was sitting on one of her feathers, just hovering there. "Just comming to check up on her is all," the wind demon said. "Not to mention give her the potion that Kanna made up," she added, comming into the room through the window. She was holding a small vial in her hand, filled with some kind of green liquid. "This should help her heal sightly faster, not to mention ease some of the pain that she's feeling..."

I reached out and took the potion from Kagura, I looked at it in the vile and shook it a little. It just looked like green water, I moved my eyes to look at Kagura, not exactly sure what to say.
"Thank you, not only for this but for saving Saiyaka. If it wasnt for you she would have probably been killed by those flames," I said putting the vile down.
Kagura just shurged and turned to leave, but I did something rather unexpected. I reached out and grabbed her shoulder tightly, not allowing her to leave. Her eyes widened at first, surprised by this. I quickly spun her around, the look in my eyes was enough to scare anyone.
"I am greatful to you yes, but if you allow something like this to happen to her ever again, I will not only kill Naraku, but I will kill you as well...And that is a promise," I said as I glared right at her.
I let go of Kagura and turned around, the small vile still in my hand. Kagura looked like she wanted to say something, but I just ignored her. She continued to stand there, not sure what to do. I kneeled down next to Saiyaka, she was asleep. I lifted up her head and poured the green liquid into her mouth. I waited untill she naturaly swallowed and then I put her head back down.
"This will make you feel better," I said as I grabbed her hand tightly.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka opened her eyes, licking the liquid that was still on her lips. "Thank you...Kagura..." she whispered, closing her eyes again as she fell back asleep.

Kagura sighed and looked away, heading to the window. "I really should have killed that incarnation before I even showed it to you," she whispered. "Even though Naraku would have had me killed," she said softly and stepped onto the feather. "Tach...If I do something like that again, feel free to kill me..." she answered.

I watched as Kagura left, this was becoming stranger by the minute. Kagura was actually...not as evil as I thought before, she did have a heart somewhere in there. When I was sure she was gone, I looked back at Saiyaka who had fallen asleep again after I gave her the medicine. I didnt want to wake her up again so I walked back to my bed and sat down again. As I sat there, keeping an eye on Saiyaka, I slowly started to nod off. I was alot more tired than I thought, when I finally fell asleep Kagome poked her head in.
"They are both asleep," She said quietly.
"Where is Tach," Inuyasha asked from behind Kagome.
"On one of the beds," Kagome aswered.
Inuyasha pushed Kagome to the side and walked into the room, I was so tired I didnt even realize he was there. As I slept, Inuyasha walked up to me and looked at me carefully. He reached out and grabbed part of my Kimono, he shook me a little too see if I was in a deep enough sleep. When I didnt wake up, he pulled out the Tetsuiga, but when he did it didnt transform.
"Sorry about this Tach, but its the only way to get it out," Inuyasha said as he pulled back the Tetsuiga.
Miroku walked into the room and stood behind me, he put his hand just over my mouth ready to keep me from screaming. Inuyasha's hand shook as he got ready to stab me with the blade. He steadied his hand, and then trust forward, the tip of the blade falling right into my chest. My eyes opened as soon as the blade hit, Miroku held his hand tightly over my mouth to keep me from crying out. My eyes were wide looking around at Inuyasha and then at Kagome, trying to figure out what was going on.
"Inuyahsha hurry and get it out, he will die if you dont," Kagome said nervously.
"I'm trying, but its not easy, the demon has burried himself in their too deeply allready," Inuyasha said as he dug the blade in deeper.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka stirred awake, hearing Inuyasha's voice, along with Kagome and the others. When she opened her eyes and saw what Inuyasha was doing, she cried out and lunged at Inuyasha, but Miroku and Sango held her back just in time. Saiyaka began screaming, threatening to kill them if they didn't let her go. "Get off! You're killing him! Tach!" When they didn't let go, she hissed and began to bite. When she was unarmed, she usually used her teeth or claws if they were free.

"Hold her back for a little bit longer, I almost got it," Inuyasha said as he forced the Tetsuiga in harder.
I still didnt know what was going on, but with Miroku gone I could now speak freely.
"What..the hell are you doing...to me," I said weakly as Inuyasha sat there with his sword in my chest.
"Just hold still Tach, I almost have it," Inuyasha said as he focused on where the sword was in.
"Inuyasha we can't hold Saiyaka back much longer, get it out now before she gets free," Miroku called out.
"I didnt want to have to do this but if it wont come out then I am going to have to go all the way through," Inuyasha said reluctantly.
Inuyasha was fighting with me now, I was still compeatly lost as to what they where doing. It was then that Inuyasha forced his sword all the way through my body, the tip of it coming out the other side. I suddenly stopped strugling, my eyes quivered and I was sweating as my head lowered. But behind me, against the wall where the sword had hit, was what appeared to be a small snake demon stuck right on the end. It squirmed for a minute, and then just dissapeared in a puff of smoke.
"Got it," Inuyasha said sighing.
Inuyasha put his other hand against my chest and slowly pulled his sword out, my blood dripping off the end of it. I slumped over, compeatly unconsious.
"Did you get it, is it dead," Kagome asked.
"Yeah its dead, now lie Tach down and put something over his wound. Since he is a half demon like me, that wound should heal quickly," Inuyasha said sheathing the Tetsuiga.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka pushed Miroku and Sango away from her as soon as they released her. She then growled and lunged at Inuyasha, sending them both through the wall. "YOU BASTARD! YOU COULD HAVE KILLED HIM, YOU DAMN MUTT!" she screamed, slashing Inuyasha across the face with her claws. "There was another way you could have gotten that thing out of him! You...I'll kill you if you do that again!" she hissed.

"Ah...Calm down, you crazed woman!" Inuyasha growled, somehow managing to kick Saiyaka off of him, sending her crashing into another wall. "It was the only way at the time, you idiot!" he hissed, grabbing Saiyaka by the back of the neck.

Inuyasha growled and walked up to Saiyaka, a small amount of blood came from his cheek were Saiyaka had scratched him.
"Tach would have been killed if I didnt get that thing out, not only that the thing would have taken control of him if we didnt act fast. It was one of the snakes that we ran into earlier, another trap set by Naraku," Inuyasha said quite angry.
I was still unconsious as Kagome laied me down on the bed, like Inuyasha had said, becase I was a half demon this would heal quicker. I slowly opened my eyes and saw her hovering over me. I quickly sat up, feeling my chest where Inuyasha had stabbed me. I pulled my hand away and looked at the blood, then at Inuyasha who was holding Saiyaka by the back of the neck.
"Inuyasha...whats going on here," I asked him.
"Good your awake," Inuyasha said letting go of Saiyaka.
I got to my feet, still a little cofused as to what was going on, I made my way over to Saiyaka, she was out of bed, and that was my main concern. I quickly led her back over to her bed and had her lay down.
"Now what the hell is going on here," I asked quite angry.
"There was a demon snake in your chest, we had to get it out of you or it would have first taken control of your body, and then killed you," Sango said helping Miroku up.
"How did you know it was even there," I asked looking at the wound.
"I found one crawling up my back, and after I killed it, guess what fell out," Inuyasha said holding out his hand.
In his hand was a small shard of the Shikon Jewel, alot smaller than any of the rest, Inuyasha pulled his hand away then walked over and picked up the shard that came from the one that was in my back.
"They were obviously planning on taking both you and me over so we would kill everyone else, then these nasty snakes would have killed us," Inuyasha said giving the shards to Kagome.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka practially clung to Tach, tears comming in her eyes. She hated to cry in front of people, but she couldn't help it this time. "Why does he hurt you? And me?" she whispered, referring to Naraku. "Papa is still in there, his heart is, but...He still hurts me," the half demon whispered, lowering her head so that nobody could actually see the tears that were running down her face.

[Red Dragon]

Inuka listened from the woods and decided to make her move. She launched herself into the cabin with Kira on hre back hangin on for dear life. She twisted out of the way as the half demon Saiyaka wizzed past her. She caught the back of her kimono and put her down carefully. Everyone stared. The white haired half breed, Inuyasha and Tach stepped up to defend the rest. Saiyaka stared wide eyed at her. Crushing down her pride Inuka gritted her teeth and bowed to Inuyasha and Tach as she took Kira down from her back. The priestess, her name might have been Kagome or some thing of the like gasped as she saw the wrechedness of Kiras cloths. Kira smiled shyly and tried to hide behind Inukas white tail. "Please" she started finally realizing how hard this was going to be. "Please will you help Kira be more like you, more human." She tried to perk up her white furry ears that Kira so loved to rub, so she could appear more at ease, but they were pinned to her head in fear. If they refused she and Kira would have no chance of making it out alive. She could make it out with no problem but not with out putting Kira at risk. Kira was human, she should be with her own kind and as much as she wanted to keep her she couldn't not when she was being hunted by Naraku. She had thought that since they seemed to have a common enemy that they might help... but she wasn't so sure anymore...

I spun my head around when a person flew in the door from outside. She landed on the floor right infront of me and Inuyasha, I looked at her carefully as she sat there and bowed her head to me and Inuyasha. Everyone was rather surprised as this girls sudden appearance. I turned all the way around when I herd her ask to make the child in her back more human. I frowned a little, still not in that great of a mood.
"Who is that," Kagome asked stepping closer to Inuyasha.
I stepped up closer and crouched down, looking at this girl closely, now that I got a closer look I could she was a demon, or at least a half breed like myself, Inuyasha and Saiyaka. I reached over and picked this demon up by the back of her Kimono, forcing her to look at me.
"Who are you, and what are you doing here spying on us," I asked sternly.
"Tach do you have to be so..."
"Not now Miroku...I am in a bad enough mood as it is, I dont need one of your moral lectures to add ontop of it," I snapped back at Miroku.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka had gotten out of bed once again, despite the fact that she hurt all over and was finally feeling it again. She stood behind Tach, looking at the woman still, her eyes then going to the child after a short while. "Umm...What's going on here?" she asked, sounding very lost and confused at the moment.

I was not a happy camper, my day was going rather bad and this girl barging in like this didnt help. But I really should have just calmed down, but I was letting my anger get to me. Naraku was there at every turn, Saiyaka was injured. And now this girl wanted to dump some baby on us.
"Tach I think you need to calm down a little," Inuyash said walking towards me.
"Back off Inuyasha," I said spinning my head around.
I had compleatly lost my temper, I wasnt going to put up with this. I finally let go of this demon, letting her free. I looked back at her, waiting for my answer.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka placed a hand gently on Tach's shoulder, resting her head on the other one. "Please don't be mad," she whispered to him. Then again, she thought she probably shouldn't be saying such things, considering that she had her own little outburst just moments ago. "Maybe we should just..." she began to say, but stoppded as she looked at the woman.

Saiyaka sniffed at the half demon and looked quite surprised at the scent she had just now picked up. "You...You have a bit of Naraku's scent on you," she claimed.

"If your not going to answer me than just wait here," I said turning around.
"Where are you going," Inuyasha asked stopping me.
"Out, I need some time to cool off," I said pushing past him and out the door.
I walked out of the temple, it was dark now. The clouds in the sky were starting to break up now, but I could still see lightning and here distance thunder on the horizon. I jumped up onto the roof of the Temple. I had grabbed one of my swords, but left the black one behind again. I looked down at my hands, they were still shaking.
"Damd, why do I even keep that thing around. All it does is hurt people, its too dangerous. But I can't...I can't find it in me to destroy it," I said to myself.
This whole situation had become so confusing, I thought this was going to be easy, we run in there, grab the kid and run out. But now, Naraku was after Saiyaka, he is trying to have me killed. And now this girl with the baby, I didnt even really give her a chance to say anything.
"What am I going to do, everytime I think something is going right, it all backfires on me. And no matter how hard I try, people end up getting hurt. Especially Saiyaka, I told her that I wanted to remain with her, and that I loved her, but I can't even protect her from her own damd father," I said laying back and looking up at the sky," Damd you Naraku, why are you doing this to her. She is your own daughter and yet you try and hurt her so much."

[Chibi-chan]

"Come now, Tach," Naraku's voice suddenly said. He wasn't in sight, but his voice could be heard. "Saiyaka...She isn't my daughter, you should know that by now. She's that Onigumo's wretched girl, and how she became my incarnation as well as a reincarnation of her past self is far beyond my understanding," he said in a poisonous voice. "If I had my way, I would do away with her and not think a thing of it. However, there's the fact that her father's heart still beats in my chest, meaning that I can't kill her, just as I can't steal away Kikyou's life again!"

Saiyaka sighed some as Tach left, and she sat down on the ground, closing her eyes and trying to fight off the pain that ran all through her body. "Why do you have Naraku's scent on you?" she asked the woman.

[Red Dragon]

"I..." She faltered. "I was once inprisoned by him" she spat out turning away. She glared after Tach. Half breed. Thats what he thought of her. SHe had seen it in everyone elses eyes. Half breed! Ha! She was no half breed. "I might be cursed with a human heart for all eturnity but I am no half breed." she said vigorusly. If it weren't for that blasted monk and his bloody spell... she might have killed them on sight. She wasn't sure if that was a good thing but then again, she would have left well enough alone, and not followed that baboon faced Naraku to save Kira. "Curse this heart of mine! I'll kill him for what he's done..."

I herd Naraku's voice, but I didnt bother to pick my head up to look around. I knew he wasnt really there, but his words did make sense. I should have realized that allready, he isnt really her father. And for that he was willing to kill her, and anyone else who got in his way.
"You dont have anything to say half breed," Naraku's voice said as one of his pupets appeared behind me.
"Not to you," I said not moving.
"You keep your back turned to me, that is not very wise," Naraku said as he approched.
"If I was worried that you were able to hurt me I would have gotten to my feet along time ago," I said resting my head in my arms.
"That is another mistake you will live to regret," Naraku said as he lunged at me from behind.
Before he could get very far, he found my sword through his body, he looked down at the blade as it ran through him. He just snikered and looked back at me.
"So you are fast, that dosent mean your powerful enough to kill me half breed. You have not seen my ture power, and when you do I dont believe you will be as cocky as you are now," Naraku said as Baboon pelt started to smoke and become limp.
"We will see about that Naraku, untill then you best watch your back. Becuase the moment you slip up, and you will...I will kill you, despite Saiyaka's wishes," I said pulling my blade back.
Naraku's demon puttet was dead, and I sheathed my sword. I turned right back around and sat. Taking the same position as before, I closed my eyes and just sat there, thinking to myself.

Saiyaka sighed some and shook her head a little bit, looking at the woman. "So...Your life was ruined by Naraku as well?" she asked, looking at the child. "Whatever...I can't help you, but maybe the others can," she said, looking to Inuyasha and the others. "I can't help anybody kill Naraku. I can only prevent them from doing it!"

"Well dont look at me, its not like I know how to take care of a kid," Inuyasha shouted nervously.
"But look at him, and the clothes he is in. We can't just leave him like that," Kagome said looking closely at the child.
"Your not seriously thinking about keeping that kid are ya Kagome," Inuyasha said sweating.
"What makes you so nervous about it," Kagome snapped.
"Kagome, its hard enough for Inuyasha to commit to yours and his relationship, let along a child," Miroku said butting in.
"Who asked for your opinion," Inuyasha shouted at Miroku.
"I'm just stating a fact nothing more," Miroku said holding a figure up," Besides it would be could practice for you Inuyasha for when you have children of your own."
"Can we please not talk about this," Inuyasha said hitting Miroku in the head.
While Inuyasha and the others argued about the baby, I had gotten off the roof and was back inside. I was standing infront of the large Buddha statue, looking at the blood still all over it.
"Should I just leave, maybe if I do, they wont get hurt anymore," I said outloud.
I had been giving this more and more thought since Saiyaka was attacked, just by me being around her Naraku kept coming back, to hurt her just becuase she was with me. I couldnt stand the thought of me being the reason she is in so much pain.
"But if I leave that means I wouldnt be able to be with her anymore, and I would be breaking my promise to stay by he side. What should I do," I asked myself as I sat down on a bench.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka rolled her eyes at the arguement, then went to look for Tach. She sighed some, wishing that she could use her nose, but she didn't feel like sniffing in oder at the moment. The stuff Kagome had sprayed was still in the air. When she found Tach, she smiled and went over to him, sitting by his side. "Hey...You don't seem to be in the best of moods," she said softly, kissing his cheek. "I know things are...difficult with Naraku and all, but..." she stopped and sighed. "I'm sorry. This is my fault," she whispered.

" I will not leave Kira. SHE is to important." Inuka shoots at Inuyasha. "I need your help, not your protection." turning her head to Tach she finishes "or your pity." Glancing at Saiyaka her heart softens "I will let this Naraku live, if he allows me to." she said. Walking up to Tach she catches Narakus scent "As for your questions, my name is Inuka I am a Demon cursed with the heart of a human and I am asking for your help. In return I will help you do whatever you need me to do withing reason. Tach, I want him dead as much as you do, he killed my mother and I want in on any information you might have on him. You're a good fighter but no so good at hiding things. Your sleeve has a speck of blood on it. I'd have it cleaned." she said pointing it out. She notices that Kira is over playing with the demon hunters cat. Obliterating what pride she had left she said "I have harbored Kira for some time and she thinks she's a demon pup. I can't have that, so I just want you to teach her more about her kind so she doesn't get herself killed. Thats all I ask." Saying that she jumped up into the cabins rafters and dissapeared into teh shadows, with only flashes of her red and brown kimono to tell where she might be.

I could here that girl in the other room talking to me trying to get me back in there. But I just wanted to stay where I was with Saiyaka, I felt more at ease when I was around her. I closed my eyes and sighed, I let my head fall on her shoulder.
"Its not your fault, it would have happened eventually, Naraku dosent care who he kills as long as he gets his way. And we all would have crossed his path sooner or later. All we can do is keep going and not give up. He is expecting to break us, and just keeping hurting us untill we finally break down and can't take anymore," I said my eyes still closed," I dont plan on letting him get his way, he wont break us. We will keeping going and we will recue Kohaku. And there is no way, I will allow him to take you away from me."
I picked my head up and looked down at the floor, I was getting pretty tired, I almost fell asleep before but then Inuyasha stabbed me. Wich didnt exactly help me any, but I guess if he didnt it would have been much worse. I yawned and then looked back at Saiyaka.
"Its getting late, I suppose we should get some sleep. I dont know where though, the other room seems to be occupied," I said looking at the others in the room with all the beds.

Saiyaka just nodded, not really knowing what to say to Tach. All of her thoughts were jumbled together in a big mess of confusion. It was easy to say that she hated the way things were going. It was supposed to be an easy thing to do, after all. Just go to Naraku's castle with a simple sounding plan, and get Kohaku back. She should have known better than to think that it would be as easy as that, she knew.

I looked around the room and caught sight of another door. When I walked over to it I noticed it also had beds in it. This temple must have been a place for people to stay before the care takers were masacared. This room was alot smaller, it must have been the head monks room for there was only one bed.
"You can have that bed, I will go outside and sleep on one of the benches while the others can have that room," I said walking to the end of the room.
I picked up a couple blankets and handed one to Saiyaka, while I took the other and headed for the door.

Saiyaka seemed a little disappointed and worried by the fact that she and Tach weren't staying in the same room. Then again, if the others found out that they had stayed in a room with a single bed, Miroku and Inuyasha probably wouldn't shut up about it. However, worry got the best of her, and she stopped Tach, putting a hand on his shoulder, gripping his hand with the other.

"Stay with me," Saiyaka pleaded, closing her eyes. "I can sleep on the floor...It will be fine. My burns aren't hurting all that much anymore, so they'll be alright," she told him, even though she was kind of lying about that.

"I'm not going to let you sleep on the floor, if you want me to stay in here, I will just make myself a bed on the ground. You can sleep in the bed," I said with a little smile.
I was happy she had asked me to stay, I didnt know if she wanted me too or not so I just figured I would sleep outside. Anyways I thought she would want her privacy, guess I was wrong.
"I will lay out my blanked next to the bed, that way if you need me I wont be too far off," I said spreading the blanket out on the floor.
When the blanket was all spread out on the floor, I looked back at Saiyaka. She looked kinda funny in all those bandages, but I really shoulnt be thinking about that. She is probably still in alot of pain becuase of the burns. I remembered the vile of medicince that Kagura had given me, if it was any good than it should be working by now.
"Hey that medicin that Kagura brought, is it helping any," I asked.

Saiyaka smiled some and sat on the bed, watching Tach as he made his own little bed on the floor. She was happy that he was going to stay and keep her company. She hated to be alone most of the time, and she had gotten so used to Tach being around her now, that it would seem weird if he suddenly wasn't there. She let out a soft sigh and laid down on the bed, surprised that by doing so, her burns really didn't hurt all that much any longer.

When Tach asked her about the medicine, she gave a small nod. "Yes, it's helping quite a bit, actually...I can hardly feel the pain anymore. Tomorrow morning, I'll check and see how they are," she told him.

I layed down on my makeshift bed, put my sword next to me and used my shirt as a pillow. I put my head down and looked over at the bed Saiyaka was laying on. Making sure that before I drifted off to sleep, she was still okay. I was glad her burns werent hurting anymore, maybe in the future, Kagura would no longer be an enemy...but an ally. As soon as my eyes closed, I fell asleep, to tired to stay awake any longer.
"Are they sleeping in the same room," Inuyasha asked poking his head out the other door.
"Yes and you better not open your big mouth about it either," Kagome said yanking on his hair.
Inuyasha just gulped and pulled his head back in the door, not willing to have Kagome tell him to sit yet again.

Just one of my eyes poped open, I quickly looked around the room and at my surroundings, a little confused as to where I was at first. It was still dark out so why was I awake. I opened my other eye and slowly sat up, Saiyaka was still on her bed. And the temple was quite now, there was no one awake. I rubbed one of my eyes and then yawned. It was still way to early to be up, I leaned over and rested my arms on Saiyaka's bed watching her sleep. She looked very peaceful, she wasnt stiring in her sleep like she did when she was injured by Kikyou. I reached over and very gently grabbed her hand, careful not to wake her up. I put my head down and then slowly fell back asleep.

Saiyaka awoke the next morning to find Tach still there, though he was holding onto her hand. She smiled a little and brushed her lips against his hand softly giving it a light kiss. "Thank you...for staying by me," she whispered, even though she herself could barely hear her words, she was being so quiet about it. Was this the first time that she had seen Tach sleeping peacefully?

My eyes opened slowly, the sun comming in the the window nearly blinding me as I did. I squinted and looked up at Saiyaka, she was awake. I noticed that I had fallen asleep leaning against her bed, my hand still clutched to hers.
"Hey," was all I could blurt out.
Well that was a stupid good morning, ah well I had just woken up, not like I was suppose to come up with something ingenious to say this early. Suddenly the door poped open and Kokoru poped her head in, then right above her appeared Shippou.
"Come on you two, breakfast is ready," Kokoru said gleefully.
I looked at the two fox demons as they smiled, it was one of those evil little smiles too. I could tell they were just deing to say something about me and Saiyaka sharing a room together for the night.
"Allright we are coming," I said getting to my feet.
"Well hurry up, Kagome made some eggs," Shippou said as he and Kokoru bolted back into the other room.
I stretched my arms and moanded slightly as I stod there, I reached down and picked up my sword, putting it back at my side.
"You feel allright enough to come eat," I asked Saiyaka.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka looked at the two foxes, looking ready to pound both of them into submission, but she decided against it. "I think that I can manage to eat," she answered. "Though you just head on before me...I'm going to change into something," she told him, shooing him out of the room.

I closed the slidding door behind me and made my way to the others who were all gathered around a large plate of food. I walked up and sat down next to Inuyasha who was quite busy stuffing his face full of food.
"Good morning," Miroku said to me as he sipped some tea.
"Morning, so what do we have here," I asked looking over the prepared food.
All the food infront of me was rather strange looking, I had never seen anything like it before. I grabbed som shop sticks and tried some of this weird yellow...stuff.
"Hey this is pretty good, what do you call it," I asked Kagome.
"Its and egg omlet," she said quite happy with my remark.
"An omlet huh," I said grabbing another one.
"So you sleep well last night," Miroku asked me.
"Yeah I slept jsut fine, why do you ask," I said a tad confused.
"Oh I was just curious, you sharing a room with Saiyaka and all I was figuring..."
Sango quickly knocked Miroku over with her fist, his foot twitched as Sango went back to eating.
"Thanks Sango," I said taking another bite.
"Your welcome," she said looking over at the twitching Miroku.
"So where is Saiyaka," Inuyasha asked me whiping his mouth with his sleave.
"She is just changing, she should be out soon," I said quite endulged in the food I was eating.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka came down a few moments later, her bandages removed. You could still see the burns, though they looked more like scars now. In a few hours, they would be gone comepletely, like they were never there. "It worked!" she said happily. "Kanna's potion worked!"

"Wait...Kanna?! You mean that little white haired brat with the mirror?! Another of Naraku's incarnations gave you a potion that helped you heal?!" Inuyasha asked, sounding quite surprised by all of this. "What the hell is going on? Naraku hurts you, then gives you remedies?"

"Hey, don't ask me how his mind works," Saiyaka muttered, shaking her head a little bit.

"Glad to see your burns are almost gone," Kagome said smiling at Saiyaka.
"Me as well, its amazing how well demons can heal themselvs so quickly after being injured. And I am sure that potion that was provided to you by Kagura helped also," Miroku said happily.
"Wait you mean Kagura brought that here," Inuyasha said all confused.
"Yes Inuyasha, do you ever pay attention," Miroku said squinting at Inuyasha.
Inuyasha just growld and went on eating, once again he was left out of the loop.
"You kinda have to expect it by now Inuyasha, you always over react to things like that," I pointed out.
"Yeah and so what if I do," Inuyasha snapped.
"Well one of these days you might over react and end up doing something stupid," I said shuving another omlet in my mouth.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka smiled and sat down, looking at all the food. "Is this stuff as good as those potato things?" she asked, prodding at an omlette.

"Of course!" Shippo said, chewing on one of the the octopus sausages. "All of it is good! You should try some!" he stated, shoving a sausage into Saiyaka's mouth.

Saiyaka almost choked on it because what Shippo just did took her by surprise, and she started laughing after she had swallowed it. "Yes, it is good, but you shouldn't do that, you little fox!" she scolded, even though she was still laughing.

As we continued to eat, it was only a matter of time before someone got into an argument over a peice of food. And of course it had to be me and Inuyasha, as I went for one of the last rice balls, he also reached for it. We both stopped about an inch away from the rice ball and just started to stare eachother down. Sparks passing between our eyes.
"Oh boy," Sango said noticing the face off.
Miroku looked up at the two of us as we put our faces together and started to growl. Our figers still ever so close to the rice ball. A large sweat drop rolled down the front of Kagomes head as she watched us fight over the rice ball. Though it was a very quite fight, we havnt even said a word to eachother yet.
"Um why don't you two just split it," Miroku sugjested.
At that point we just kinda blinked, we looked down at the rice ball just as Miroku reached over and with a knife cut the rice ball in two. He handed us each a half and sat back.
"There problem solved," He said smiling.
"Hey your piece if bigger than mine," Inuyasha grumbled.
"Is not," I shouted back.
Everyone just kinda sighed, sweatdrops rolling down the sides of their heads.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka watched for a while, finding this very amusing. Then she took both of the halves from their hands, looked at them both, then took nibbles from Tach's, then from Inuyasha's upon further inspection. She looked at both of them after this, then handed the halves to the boys. "There...now they're even!" she declared.

Inuyasha blinked down at his riceball half, just not saying anything and staring at it for the longest time. "I'M NOT GONNA EAT IT AFTER YOU PUT YOUR MOUTH ON IT!" he yelled, chucking the half rice ball at Saiyaka and hitting her in the side of the face with it.

Saiyaka blinked, pulled the rice ball from her face and plucked out bits of rice from her hair, glaring at Inuyasha. "You...me...OUTSIDE!" she hissed, eyes narrowed quite dangerously.

"More than happy too," Inuyasha said getting to his feet.
"Not so fast buddy," I said grabbing ahold of Inuyasha's collar.
"Hey let me go," Inuyasha said squirming around.
"Not a chance Inuyasha, you need to calm yourself down and sit," I said not letting go of him.
Inuyasha glared back at me like he wanted to kill me but I refused to let go, when he started to bite at my hand I used my other hand and punched him once in the top of the head. He grabbed his head and started to whine.
"What you do that for," he yelled.
"Becuase you were biting me," I yelled back.
Before we could get much more into our argument, Kagome stepped in. Rather anoyed that one of her meals was yet again ruined by Inuyasha's bad temper.
"Inuyasha, sit," Kagome said as she sent death looks towards him.
Me stupidly still holding onto Inuyasha, was pulled down with him when Kagome sat him. But me and Inuyasha did a face first dive into what was left of breakfast. Both of us just kinda sat there, all covered in food.
"Well thats yet another meal down the drain," Miroku said sighing.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka frowned some and let out a small sigh, shaking her head some. "Yet again, I couldn't teach that mutt a lesson," she murmured, picking more rice out of her hair. "Honestly, I was only trying to help out," she said, blinking some as she saw everybody raising a brow at her. "What? Not my fault! They would have gotten into a fight anyway, even if I didn't nibble them down to equal size!"

"...Saiyaka actually has a point there," Miroku stated, crossing his arms and nodding some as he looked down at Tach and Inuyasha. "Though I don't know why Tach had to get hurt because of Inuyasha making a scene...Just dumb luck!" he said in a sing song voice.

[Red Dragon]

Kira was at home with these people it seemed. See giggled at them and smiled. I felt a little betrayed at this but pushed the feeling away telling myself that its for the best. I crept down from the rafters to see ever one eating some sort of egg dish provided by Lady Kagome. The dish slipped and spilled a little bit of eggs in to the fire. It gave a profound hiss and I automaticly winced. Inuyasha noticed of course. "Whats your problem, afraid of a little fire?" he taunted. Kagome gave me a sweet smile and muttered "sit boy." Inuyasha face planted into his plate cracking it and getting eggs everywhere, agian. My eyes went wide. I stared at her for a moment and saw another women sitting there for a moment. A crueler women that couldn't possibly share the same face as this sweet girl... could she? Inuyasha roared at Kagome for a bit calling her all sorts of names and was swiftly rewared with more "sits". I was impressed. Her charm around his neck seemed to only work on him so I was safe from its effects.
Later while I helped clean up the meal that I didn't join Kagome said "Its ok if your afraid of fire, my brother is afraid of the dark..." 'Yeah, I'll bet he's 3 years old too' I thought but insted I said "Actually its more of the opposite". I flicked my wrist and relit the campfire. Kagome was a little stunned. "Wow, thats a neat trick" she said encouraging me to continue. I juggled some fire balls for her, just like I had for Kira until she tried to reach for them to try it herself. "Look, I was captured and put in a den so deep and dark, full of dripping water and sharp rocks for 'safe keeping by Narku, you'd be a little hesitant toward hissing steam too." I said and instantly regretted it. I was always saying things like that. Every thing I said had a knifes edge to it. "Sorry" I mumbled not believing what I was saying. "I've spent to much time with Seshomaru I guess" I said hoping for her forgiving smile. It didn't come. The camp was dealthly quiet.

My eyes carefully watched this girl jugling those fireballs, I was almost ready to have a freakin heart attack. Saiyaka had just gotten over her burns and now this demon was throwing around fire like a toy.
"Put that out," I said as I jumped to my feet.
I ran over to the girl and grabbed one of her rists and squezing tightly, the look of anger in my eyes as I stared her down.
"Dont you ever play with fire like that around here again, there are too many risks involved," I said in a deep and serious tone.
Inuyasha and Miroku who had just finished cleaning themselvs up, looked over at me. They both knew why I was reacting this way, I was not to big a fan of this girl yet. Not only did she hang around with that vile demon Sesshomaru, but she was a fire demon. And fire was the last thing I wanted to see anywhere near Saiyaka.
"You want us to help you out that is fine, but you better play by my rules. No fire unless I say so, are you catching my drift," I said holding tighter.
"Tach, let go now. I think she understands," Inuyasha said grabbing my hand.
I looked at Inuyasha and then back at the girl, I let go of her hand with a bit of a throw and then walked off. I sat right back down next to Saiyaka, I closed my eyes and went back and started to think to myself.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka looked at the fire demon, wanting her to leave right then and there, finding herself wishing that Tach had killed her. "Fire...has to be fire, doesn't it?" she whispered to herself, shuddering. "He's right," she said, this part out loud. "If you play around with fire, you're going to get hurt, if not by it, then by me," she scowled, crossing her arms. When Tach came over and sat by her, she kept extra close to him, her eyes still on the half demon.

"Yeah, Saiyaka is a wuss around fire, so try and keep it away from her," Inuyasha said, thinking that something like that would help the situation. Instead, that got him another 'sit' by Kagome and scold from Miroku, who bashed the mutt in the head with his staff.

"That was highly uncalled for, Inuyasha...Imagine what it must have been like for poor little Saiyaka. Being in a burning inferno of hell, searching for your father as the flames roasted you alive, burning your flesh to a-" that was as far as he got as Sango smacked him on the head with her overly large boomerang.
"THAT," she said, glaring, "Is what is uncalled for, you insensitive monk!" Sango stated, shaking her head.

Once again with all the fighting, though amusing after awhile it became some what repeditory. I was still thinking to myself, mainly on what I should do with the fire demon. She could be useful to us in the future, but it just seams to well placed. A fire demon who just so happened to be imprisoned by Naraku seaking out help.
"Something dosent seem right about this," I said quietly to myself.
"I was thinking the same thing," Miroku said sitting next to me.
"And why is that," I asked.
"It just dosent sit right with me, this whole time its been like Naraku has been watching us. Like he has planted someone or something within our group to watch and track us," Miroku said seriously for once.
"Have any ideas who it or what it might be," I asked.
"No not at the moment, but I highly sugjest you and Saiyaka keep an eye out. Since you two would be the most likely of targets," Miroku said looking at me and Saiyaka.
"I see, do your best to find out who it is. The more I think about it the more it seems logical that someone is being controled. If I can make a sugjestion," I said looking a little unsettled.
"It appeared you may allready have an idea of who it might be," Miroku said not to surprised.
"I would keep an eye on Shippou and Kokoru, out of everyone in the group they are the ones who have been missing the most. And they would be the easiest to control, and the least likely for us to suspect," I said putting my head down.
"Right, I will keep a closer eye on them to see how they act. Something about their constant absense has me worried as well," Miroku said getting up and walking away.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka sighed some and burried her face in Tach's shoulder, shaking her head a little bit. "This is all confusing," she murmured. "I don't like it at all...I hate to have to suspect people who are my friends...Or are pretending to be," she added, removing her face from his shoulder. "We don't know what Naraku has planned, and it's not that easy for us to kill him. At least, not easy for me," she corrected herself. The others wouldn't have any problem with killing him off, she knew that.

"The only reason, I suspect someone, is that he always seems to know where we are, and what we are doing. I know he has that mirror Kanna carries around with her and he can easily watch us with that. But his timing is to precise, just when we think we are closing in on something or just when someone happens to be along he makes his move," I said rather sadly," Kokoru has been my companion for a long time now. And she is always there for me but I can't help but suspect her, there has been this look in her eye lately. Like she isnt really there, and everytime I see it I can only think of one thing. Naraku somehow has control of her."
I looked down at the floor, there was an ant crawling along carring a large leaf. I just watched it as it made its way to a hole and fell in. She was right this was confusing, but I was not going to let Naraku break us. Not now not ever, I know he is trying to kill our spirits so he can finally kill us all together. That has got to be why, he keeps hurting us to an inch of death, and then letting us heal.
"Its like he almost wants us to come to his castle. But by the time we get there, if this keeps up. We wont have any energy left, we will have to retreat, or worse. He will kill us before we get the chance to even try and turn back. Saiyaka, I love you, but Naraku must die...before he kills us all...including you," I said looking at her.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka stood up, looking down at him as if she had just been struck by Tach. "There's no way!" she hissed, shaking her head. "No way that you'll kill him!" she whispered. "I won't let you do that...I can't let you do that, no matter what he does to me or the others!" she yelled. She didn't add Tach in there, because she had already promised herself that Tach wouldn't be hurt by him any longer. "He won't kill me anyway, because he can't," she added, bitting her lip some. Saiyaka wasn't one hundred percent sure on what she just stated.

"You can't kill him, and that's final!" she told him, continuing to shake her head. "You try and kill him and...and..." she tried to threaten, but couldn't find herself able to. How could she, when it was Tach? "He's still inside Naraku...I can't let you kill Naraku if he's still there," Saiyaka whispered, backing away from Tach a little. The incarnation that Naraku had dubbed as Musou most definately was her father, Onigumo. She was sure about that, and he had been re-absorbed by Naraku.

Inuyasha and the others took notice to Saiyaka's yelling, they all looked down at me expecting me to get angry or something. But I just sat there, and didnt move. I knew she was going to say that, I wasnt surprised at all. I knew how strongly she felt that her fathers heart was still inside Naraku. I knew it just as well as she did, but the one thing she didnt realize, is that no matter how hard she tried. There was no way to get her father back.
"Your right...what was I thinkning, I shoul have never of said something as foolish and absentminded such as that," I said getting to my feet.
I started to walk off towards the door, Inuyasha and the other watched me as I started to leave.
"Inuyasha, I want you to do something for me," I said just as I was about to leave.
"Yeah what is it," he asked a little curious.
"I want you to find Shippou and Kokoru, and keep them right here," I said opening the door.
"Yeah and what for," Inuyasha asked a little confused.
"Naraku has made his move again, I set a trap and he fell for it. He likes striking at these moments when we are emotionaly weakest. Makes it easier for him to tear at our emotions and break us down. He has been watching us this entire time, through the eyes of Shippou and Kokoru," I said just as I walked out the door.
Just about everyone at that point in time was all but flabergasted by what I had just said. But it made more than enough sense to Inuyasha, he has had first hand experiance with it. He quickly walked over to the room they had slept in last night, and when he opened the door, sure enough there were Shippou and Kokoru sitting with their backs to him. The both turned their heads around at the same time.
"Inuyasha, whats going on," Shippou asked.
"You two need to come with me, now," He said grabbing both of them by the scruff of the neck and bringing them into the other room.

[Chibi-chan]

Saiyaka almost began to cry again, but she didn't this time, refusing to do it in front of everybody. It seemed that Saiyaka was still that young girl from fifty years ago, who only had one person important to her. Even though she had been granted a new life with many people that had become important to her. Shaking her head, she just sat there, bringing her knees to her chest, rocking back and fourth a little bit. If everybody kept going on about killing Naraku...she may just have to leave with him the next time that she sa him, and that was that.

Shippou and Kokoru sat in the middle of the room, a little confused as to what was going on. I was still outside, leaning against the door and looking out into the distance. I was thinking twice about what I had said to Saiyaka, I knew if I said that then she would have reacted badly. But it was the only way to get Naraku to try and make a move. But considering his realized his error quickly, and backed off. Maybe this just wasnt worth it.
"Tach, I have them waiting for you," Inuyasha said from behind the door.
Should I go through with this, they must be a little worried by now. Everyone acting in the way they are. Maybe I should just forget it, but if I did and it turned out that they were under his control...then these things would just keep happening. I reached down and grabbed the handle of my sword, I slowly pulled it out of its sheath. This was the only way to test and see if they were under his control, if they ran, then they were. If they stayed, then they werent. I turned around and opened the door, Inuyasha who was right there was a tad surprised to see me with my sword out.
"What are you planning to do," Inuyasha asked me.
I just walked passed him, immediatly Kokoru caught sight of me and my sword out. As did Shippou who ramined entirly confused. It was then that Kokoru bolted, I saw her spin around quickly and make her way towards the staute. I also ran forward, sword at the ready. Shippou just ducked as I ran passed him, he wasnt under Naraku's control. This whole time it was Kokoru, my own companion and long time friend was working for Naraku.
"Kokoru I'm sorry!!!"
My balde came crashing down on the statue, with Kokoru still hiding just behind it. Everyone just gasped as the statue came crashing to the ground in two peices, and Kokoru was sent flying in the opposite dirrection. Landing on the floor and skiding into the wall.

Saiyaka's eyes narrowed slightly at Kokoru, and she stood up, running towards her and grabbing her up. She jumped out of the way of Tach, and shook her head at him a little, placing Kokoru down. The girl must be confused at this point, most likely. "Tach...You realize that I have to help this little one out, right? And that I'll have to leave your group as well if you don't back down and say that you're not going to kill Naraku?" she asked. Saiyaka knew that she was probably being foolish by saying all of this, but she really wasn't thinking at the moment. Usually, she didn't think about things before she did them. It was the same way with words. This was one of the times when she wasn't thinking what she was saying.

I didnt move and inch when Saiyaka took Kokoru away from my blade. I just stod there, I still hadnt recoverd myself from my attack, it was still as if I was trying to swing my blade. I was then that I stod up strait, allowing my blade to run along the floor. I turned myself around slowly, and when I did. Everyone saw that lack of emotion in my eyes. They werent like when someone was being controlled by Naraku, I had just...gone.
"Tach, whats the matter," Inuyasha asked stepping towards me.
I didnt respond, my body and mind had taken more than it could. I swore to myself that Naraku would not break me, but here I stood...broken. Everything that had happened, the girl I cared about most of all in this world was hurt, and now I was attacking Kokoru, the only one who had remained by my side untill I met Saiyaka.
"I...I want...to go home," I said dropping my sword.
"Home, what does he mean," Miroku asked a little confused.
I stumbled forward slightly, my eyes still almost void of anything. It was like something just came and took my soul away and left my body to wonder. I stopped infront of Saiyaka who had Kokoru on the floor infront of her. I fell to my knees and looked down at Kokoru, then back up at Saiyaka.
"I dont want to fight anymore," I said as the first tears began to well up in my eyes.

Cluching my hand concentrating I flattened my ears and hissed at him. "Touch me again and fire will be the worst of your problems" I said glaring at him. I read fear on Saiyaka's face as they quickly changed the subject. I made a slicing motion and my fire balls went out. I conjured a whirling ball of water and tossed it at him. Kira looked solem but I was over my limit. The air around me crackled and every one scooched away. I bared my fangs daring him to try any thing. I felt sorry for scaring Saiyaka but the look he wore when he found out about Seshomaru broke my chain. I didn't know or care about the fleeing human or what was going on. Tach is your prey now... a voice told me. No, I said to it. The wind blared around me and roared feeling the change coming... I fought the change but growled "Seshomaru, brother, help!" I collapsed to the ground and my fate was set. The sun was rising and the new moon disappeared with the stars. When first light struck, I squinted through dulled eyes as my day as a hanyou began. I traced the outline of Tach, he was crying...

Saiyaka blinked a little, lost as to what was happening. The look in Tach's eyes...it was frightening her. What was wrong with him? She walked over to him, cupping his face in her hands. "Tach?" she whispered, looking at him and seeming a little startled to see tears in his eyes. She dropped her hands from his face and wrapped her arms around him, wanting him to be like himself again. Why was he acting this way? "Tach?! What's wrong?"

Inuka lifted herself up with shaking hands. She looked at Tach and her heart almost broke. She couldn't stand it when people cried, thats what lured her to Kira and now Tach... Kira wimpered like a dog and inspected Inuka. Her eyes grew large when she found that she had lost her sleek white tail and grace. Inuaka ignored Kira for the moment and inched forward toward Tach and Saiyaka. Something glittered as another tear fell to the earth. The glitter came again and her eyes wandered over the foilage and rested on... a blade. A form shot forward, straight for Tach and Saiyaka! Growling, she to became airborn and collided with the attacker as they both fell to the ground. She had landed on, "Seshomaru!" He looked her over and then sent an icy glare at the camp. She quickly rolled off him "Don't hurt them." she said instantly. He gave a curt nod and motioned her to follow him. She looked at the camp then back at him. He understood and went to wait for her in the forest.
"Tach. I know this looks bad but... he's my brother. I can't turn away family." she said trying to explain.

As Saiyaka held me there, I felt the wind from someone passing overhead. But I could care less who or what it was. The girl was trying to talk to me again, I herd something more about Sesshomaru and something about a brother. But my mind had all but been toasted at the moment. I was unsure of where I was, what was going on and what the hell I was doing. It was then I saw Inuyasha and the others get to their feet, they were obviously shocked at surprised by something. Inuyasha made his way out the door, closely fallowed by Kagome.
Saiyaka still had me in her arms, I moved my head slightly to look up at her, she looked worried. I wanted to be myself again, but something told me to just shut down. To rest and not try this anymore...but I didnt want to, I didnt want to stop.
"I...wont let it happen," I said closing my eyes.
Miroku looked at me, and at the odd state I was in. He slightly understood what was happening.
"Sango, we should leave Tach and Saiyaka alone. And try and find out why Sesshomaru had just appeared like he did," Miroku said getting to his feet.
"Of course, Kilala," Sango said calling to her cat demon.
Kilala jumped out of her spot and ran after Sango and Miroku as they left. It was now just me and Saiyaka, I had tried to keep myself from crying, but I had kept it in for so long. I had kept all of it in, never trying to show my tears. I guess it had just built up to such a point that I couldnt hold it any longer.
"Saiyaka, what have I done," I asked her looking at my hands.

Saiyaka was crying, thinking that Tach would never snap out of his daze that he was in. When he finally did, she practically sobbed and held him tighter. "What did you do?" she echoed, frowning a little at him. "You scared me half to death, you foolish idiot," she murmured, whiping her eyes. This was a little pointless to do, considering she just started crying all over again afterwards. "I thought that you weren't going to come back," she told him. "I thought you broke your promise and left, just like that..."

Inuka went into the woods and came upon Seshomaru and Rin. "Inuka, you know you shouldn't be outside my lands unprotected like this" he said to her. "I'm sorry sesi. I needed to see for myself, your brother and I had to protect Kira." Inuka said patting Rin on the head. "I think Inuyasha might have gotten it in to his had that you are his sister, after your little display in the camp" he went on pointedly. "Look, just because I'm not your blood sister doesn't mean I didn't care any less when father died." she said facing him. "Your as precious to me as Rin." he reassured her. "And just as helpless it seems." she said sitting down.

I looked around me, at the borken statue, then down at Kokoru who lay unconsious on the floor. I knew I had done all this. But Saiyaka, the look in her eye's, like I had gone. It was a look I couldnt bare to see, I reached my arms up and around her and held her just as tightly as she held me.
"I could never leave you Saiyaka, no matter what I will always come back. There is nothing in this world that could keep me from you," I said putting me head on her shoulder.
I couldnt beleive I let Naraku get to me like that, making me attack Kokoru without a second thought. It was like I was becoming...more like he was, ruthless and emotionless. I couldnt bare to be like that again, I wouldnt allow it. I never wanted to see that look in Saiyaka's eyes again. And I dont want to hurt anyone anymore.

Saiyaka's shoulders were trembling slightly as she cried, and tried to stop from doing it. "Don't ever do it again...Please?" she whispered, slowly moving away just enough so that she could look up at him, to see his eyes back to normal and not looking so distant and lost. "I'll go mad if you do that again, so...please don't...No matter how much you want to..."
