Yeah I just completed this series. Its 4 discs and I found the story to be a bit rushed but the characters are fun and the story itself is reasonably interesting and unexpected.
The ships and planes are quite awesome and the whole show gave me a feeling of the movie Armageddon a bit with all the comet blasting and meteors falling to earth etc.
There isnt any romance in the show, but the characters are cute and the artwork is beautifully done. I also love the openinth theme: First Priority.

I think my favorite character is for some reason Ayamo. she has a sort of tomboyish attitude but shes still cute.

Whoa, that's cool! I watched several episodes only. But, it's pretty nice! Ayamo? She kinda kewl.... Armageddon, lol... quite similiar, though

I watched only a bit of it. but it''s pretty nice, though! As a space fiction anime, it's pretty cool after Evangelion.:)
