This'll probably be my last wallpaper to upload at this site- frankly I understand that people have lives and whatnot and don't feel like commenting or whatever, but I'm just sick of being ignored entirely. So, to everyone around thanks for all the past support. See you.

if it seemed like i've ignored you, check how much i've posted recently (which wasn't much) and most of the time i can't think of anything to add or change to your walls. anyways, i'm sure nobody is ignoring you more than they're ignoring everyone else here.

as for the wall, i like the idea, though like pooky i don't really get the text (maybe i'm just missing something) and i'm not sure about the tall text in the bg but it might look to empty without it...dunno.

I'm gonna be honest to you. You, instead of taking your time and making one really good wall, you make a bunch of low quality walls. Man, everytime I check these forums there are at least 5 new walls by you, and most of them lack originality, a good sense of design, good text... Take a good look at the text and the eye-candied background you made for this wallpaper... Really man, take your time, "feel" what you're doing... Of course, everyone has ups and downs, but I think you should spend more time on the same wall instead of just making a rushed background and using a random font just so you can make lots of walls... I know some people who don't comment on your walls because they're tired of seeing the same mistakes made over and over and over (I know because they told me, not because I think that's why). You got some pretty nice concepts for many walls, but a good concept doesn't make a good wall.

You know what? I retract everything I've said here. I'm just upset because I don't want to hear the truth. That truth, apparently is that I am no good. Actually, thank you. I appreciate this. I have now cleared about twenty gigs give or take of junk off of my computer. Things that were only cluttering up hard drive space. I think, yes, I will stop making wallpapers all together for a long long time now.

No, this is not to seek attention nor is it being angry, petulant nor pedantic. I am merely stating fact. I am not going to make wallpapers for a long time. I have kept Adobe on my computer but only for things that I may need to do. That and traces. I am going to still do those mind you because despite how bad they look- I enjoy it and it relaxes me.

Again, thank you. ^_^

And this is why you no longer make wallpapers? I mean at least I'm out there trying something- anything. All these naysayers can kiss my *** and say something to my face instead of being faceless cowards and disrespecting me behind my back. If my wallpapers lack in orginality then I am the pope. I think that if anything, my walls are too... much too soon. Granted I don't make a Mona Lisa every time I try, but... at least I'm trying. Honesty? Thank you for it, but you... can go away and stay gone this time. I mean... I've never ever seen anything positive from you. Always the same tripe over and over again. Always a negative crappy attitude, never something good to say. If the world sucks so much and if people are so horrible, then stop coming online at all and just stay away. Stay in some darkened corner of your room. DarkDeath was is and still is one of the best wallpaper creators on this site, he also said a long time ago he had a job that consumed a lot of his time, so making wallpapers for him isnt a lack of creativity. And the only way you're going to improve is by being criticized. Even though you'd probably like every response to your walls to be 'OOOOOOOO omg thats awesome great job!' (everyone would) sadly it's not gonna be if you want your walls to improve. Like it or not, a lot of what DD said is true, and if you want to improve you should probably try and listen to his comments. He never seems positive because he doesn't sugar coat everything like so many people do on this site, you want an honest critiquing (sp?) on your work, there it is.

Yeah, I realized that after the fact man. Go back and read my edited response. THEN bi+ch at me if you feel up to it. ;)

Oh and for another thing, if you think that all I wanted was self appreciation then you are sadly misunderstanding my entire point. I loathe that type of attention and appreciate honest criticism. Therefore my edited response and subsequent actions. I understand that the best way to improve is to try try again but after so much... Well you get the picture I hope. Again this isn't self depreciation nor attention seeking through negative means, it's a realization that I'm not as good as I thought I was. Okay, put more time into what I do- okay. I will when I decide to start making these things again. THAT'S my point. Thank you to DD for the reality check.

"if you think that all I wanted was self appreciation"
No, I never thought you wanted that. What I think is that you should have more self-critique... It's not too hard to find aspects that look rough or that don't fit on a piece of art, all it does is take a little bit of your time. Sometimes "breathing" is not as relevant as "letting your lungs work"...
I'm not going to ***** at you, because that won't take you anywhere, but you should, for example, get some time and take a look through all of your walls, one by one, and compare results. Try, if you're going for abstract backgrounds, not using patterns that are so obvious or simply eye candy... try using different effects, try innovating. Maybe even make something you never wanted to make because the result that you thought would come would be ugly... Sometimes your mind plays tricks on you. My last and most important advice here: don't just "do" what you're doing... "feel" what you're doing and make sure it doesn't "feel" bad.
Go for it, you have potential, you just aren't pulling it out the way you should.

no swearing. Even though you have the *s, it is still considered a problem according to the rules of animeforums.com. It could get you in trouble with the admin.

Not everyone here is a great wallpaperer. Look at mine; they are bad. I just dont have the time nor the inspiration any more. It takes time and patience to be good at anything, and particularly a craft. For some people, it comes naturally, but I think everyone has a creative spark in them. Look for it! experiment and explore your creativity.

Yep. it's the admins attempt to keep the forum a bit more kid friendly. However, I have been a little lax because, if we are allowed to have provocative images, we arent being G-rated to begin with. But yeah, definately be more careful with your language. If you have a question on what is considered bad to say, just ask.
