anyways..getting back to the reason this thread exists in the first place (which, btw is not for randomness)

xian, the red seems a bit harsh compared to the characters. i get the reason for the bg (as you explained it before) but the characters seem to stand out from it a bit too much (probably since the red kinda blares at you when their softer colors don't). i dunno maybe try softening the bg colors or something.

i think the light and grainyness (which is a good thing for that bg) fit the characters very well, better than before. i can't really think of anything else to change.
