I love Kare Kano, its one of those love anime which has real characters who seem to be more than just a 2 dimensional image on the screen. Plus it has the best Akira parody ever.

I really liked the Manga that I read a while ago. I never got very far... only a few books into the series. After they finally got together, I got a little bored.

But, it is pretty cute. :]

Kare Kano is great have the box set & 12 volumes of the Manga. Very nice romantic comedy. Nice selection of characters, nice porgress in the romance, just nice too watch!

Kare Kano sure is interesting, i have the box set and i think
it´s a good mix between romance and comedy, but i diddn´t liked the ending that much.

waah, i luuuv Kare Kano!! I don't like arima sometimes.. but i just favour Kazuma and Tsubasa very much!! they're so cuuute. I've read until volume 17.

I've read up to volume 18, and I love it. It was really cute in the beginning (Yukino's arc) but now it's more serious, (Soichiro's arc) and I just love it! :p

i watched this series. overall it was great. i like the main characters afffairs. but i really dissapointed with anime ending. it seems like 'half-heartedly' done. i cannot really believe it will end like that. anyway, i didn't read the manga but my friend told me before the anime was not completely complete. there were continuatin in manga.

I haven't seen the entire anime series, but I like what I saw. It's so cute and so sweet. It's interesting how they show the progression of relationships from both sides. I also like the alternation between the anime and manga-style.

Hehe, this anime is nice ^_^ lots of comedy and romance.
I must say, they really well did the main chars ...

I'm just disappointed in a kind of sudden ending ... it ended a bit too fast ...

This was actually the first romance anime that I liked after Full Metal Panic and Fruits Basket and hooked me up onto this genre. I like it in a way that it shows some kind of a realistic side of love both good and bad which is true nowadays; the common setting of the occurence of relationship and the things that can destroy it such as family and personal and even backgrounds/matters. Just one thing that I didn't really like is the ending; it didn't even satisfy me and I can't even call it a good ending. Manga is much better. Oh well, thats the case in almost all animes.

Yeah... manga is better than anime since they have an ending...

But even though Kare Kano (anime) wasn't really finished I think it's great! I really like the way the characters are drawn... actually after seeing the first episode I really got hooked up to this series...:grinjump:

I thought that the series was kind of strange, mainly the fact that all the main love characters were 14-15 years old. A bit young for some of the things that were done between them. Though the storyline did have at least some depth, and that's always welcome in my book.

I also found the anime strange for the same reasons, but I like where the story went: true love, and marriage, a family. Few anime nowadays have those, they usually just show the teenage lovey-dovey part. Kare Kano was different, and I liked it ^^

Umm, yeah I've read the first volume of the manga, but it didn't make a real big impression on me so I don't think I'm go any farther.
