Mario looked up when Kera punched the wall. "What are you doing?!" his eyes were not in tears, only in sadness. They were sheeted with water...but none dripped. He put his head back in his arms, hoping for some kind of cry for pain, but all he heard Kera say was that she didn't feel it...that she didn't feel it..."You what?!" Mario jumped out of his seat and ran to Kera's side. He pulled at her shirt, trying to take her from her seat. A tear left his right eye. "Damnit...it's not your fault that you went to fight in the Net Slums, Kera. It was your natural impulse as a human...but you should have been smarter."

"We're going back into the game. Once Fiona and Zero get back...we're going to find Aura. I don't want this infection to go any further..." More tears dropped from his worried eyes. I have never been this scared for anyone since I can remember... He whiped the tears from his eyes, frantically.

[Kera]

Kera took her eyes off of her hand and looked at Mario "im sorry" was all she could say no one ever really cared for her "lets go back" Kera got up and started to walk to the elevater "you coming" Kera stood there waiting "im sorry but not many people worry over me or even once cried in front of me its weird" Kera looked at her hand again why didnt i feel that i should have at least yelped in pain but nothing Keras hand wasnt even red it looked like nothing happend "im going to run though the halls again can you keep up" She said in an amotionless voice "i dont care if i get in trouble" Kera started to shift her waight to one foot then the other she wanted to run badly but for some reason wasnt happy all of a sudden just nothing

"I'm not crying, damnit!" Mario yelled. "I'm just letting out my fear......" Mario was in such deep shock right now...such deep fear that he could barely take proper steps down to the elevator. He whiped his eyes...kept his hands there, to make sure it didn't look like he was crying. Who the hell am I kiding?! Of course I'm crying...and I've never cried for years...why now? Why for this girl who I met only weeks ago?! Why do I care so much for people? It always gets me in this kind of situation...this kind of fear... Mario was in such a negative mood now. His only hope left in him was that the group would find Aura and Kera would be saved.

He stumbled a few times as he walked. "Kera...can you hold me...I need to be comforted...I can barely move..." Mario was so scared now. But what struck him as the oddest thing was that it was with one event that made him this way...one single event petrified him. Kera wasn't the only thing he was sad about...there was more.

"Mario.... ok" Kera was shocked by what he said and about the yelling but still walked over to him "are you that scared" Kera was worried "im sorry" tears where startng to fall She was scared of losing a friend scared for herself worried for Mario "im sorry your right we need to get back into that game" Kera said though tears she lost her balance and huged Mario and started to cry "im sorry for every thing of it wasnt stupid me you wouldnt be so worried and still been a happy person with out so much worry im sorry" Kera was shaking and crying

Mario hugged back and tears fell once again. The fact that he had Kera still by him was one of relief for him. "It's okay Kera...I'm not mad at you...I have problems from my past..." He hugged her tightly. There was no longer any rush to get to the game...he felt comfortable here. Mario wanted to have Kera's safety assured to him...

He took one hand away from the hug, whiping a tear from his chin before it fell. "Kera...you didn't upset me...I just broke when I saw you in that state of immunity to pain. I'm scared for you...but you're not what angered me. Just...the fear for your life made me remember the same fear I had when...my...when my brother was kidnapped and killed. I heard it on the news the week after he got taken from us. Since then I ran away from home...and I lived in my cousin's basement...I ju...I just don't want you to die..." Mario trembled in fear as he continued to shed tears. He held Kera tightly, never willing to let go.

[Kera]

"im sorry i didnt know" Kera huged back wanting to cumfirt Mario but she was also scared "i...i didnt know that you had a brother ive never known your past" Kera was suprised she was an only child she know what it was like to have siblings "Mario, im so scared about every thing i....ive never been so scared... i havent cried sence i was young and no one has ever cared about me and what i do" anger rose in Her but soon went down and she started to calm down glad that Mario was there and that she had a friend that cared for her safety and life "thank You Mario i owe you every thing" Kera said with little happiness and lots of seriousness

"I wouldn't really want to find out, either..." Fiona said with a sigh, trying to find her ocarina that would get them out of her. Smiling, she finally found it, and she grabbed onto Zero and blew into the instrument. It played the rather soothing melody, in Fiona's opinion, and it transported them out of the dungeon and back to the field. "Zero, I'm going to log out of this are...And out of the game for a short time. Before comming here, I kind of yelled at Mario when I shouldn't have," she explained.

Mario continued to hold Kera; his tears dissipating. He was finally calming down after at least five minutes of mourning. When he realized that there was still hope, ad he shook himself out of denial, he raised his head and looked around...people were looking...but Mario didn't care one bit. He whiped the sadness from his face and looked at Kera. He gave a recovering smile and said, sniffling, "Kera...you owe me nothing but your happiness...that's all I want...too see you happy...and to see you safe..." Mario held onto her shoulders and pushed off a little, to look at her face. "We have to go back upstairs...this is what I wanted to talk about...obviously I didn't expect it to turn out the way it did...but I think we're done here, as long as we can find you some help." Mario had a strong feeling that Aura could help Kera.

Aura...such a powerful name...representing what is good, what is evil, what is calm, what is untame, what is the world...Aura had to be a being of supreme power and mercy. She had to help... Holding onto Kera, Mario walked himself, steadily to the elevator.

[Kera]

"OK lets go" Kera smiled "i didnt think this talk would come out this way ether" Kera started to laugh and ran to the elevater and kept hitting the butten dancing like a little girl she was happy again and could wait to find Arua "but Mario if i get worse then we better hurry ok" kera was joking but she know she was going to get worse no dought about it the elevater stopped and Kera pulled Mario in "i hate it when people stare" Kera said angly then smiled "where did you leave your labtop i need to get mine and go home or to the park i love playly .hack in the park i dont know why" Kera was happy but she had worries so many worries

Saiyuko's apartment.
Saiyuko took out his cellphone and found that he still had Naomi's number on it.Saiyuko sighed."Should I even bother?"Saiyuko shook his head."Maybe she'll atleast talk to me,It's been a long time after all."Saiyuko called her number.

"Hey,who are you calling?"Michael said curiously.

Saiyuko turned around quickly to Michael's voice."N-nothing...."

"I can tell you're lying brother."Michael said.

Saiyuko felt hiself blush,he closed his eyes."Alright,I'll say it,it's Naomi."

Michael snickered."Heh..."

"Hello?"

"Err......"Saiyuko couldn't seem to find what to say.He hasn't spoken with her for a long time,nor to his friends since Leon fell into a coma,he has sort of gotten a bit shy."I-I-it's me,Saiyuko."

"Saiyuko?Where were you?When I went over to your house,you weren't there."

"To tell the truth,after Leon fell into a coma,I moved."Saiyuko said.

"Oh...,so that explains it."

"Err.....I don't really feel like being talked to right now,I guess I should hang up now,bye."

"H-hey!Wa-"

Saiyuko turned his phone off at that moment."I better call back later to say sorry."Saiyuko put on the headset.

Omega Server Relic City Lia Fail
"Wonder if Zero is alright..."Fate walked towards the Elf's Haven and deposited some items.Fate walked towards the chaos gate and leaned aginst a wall near it.

Zero smirks at her.
"Thats fine. I think that you should make sure that you apologize to him. Because im sure that he didnt mean to make you angry. And make sure that you tell him hi."

He starts walksing away from the dungeon a little.
" I think that im gonna log out for a while to because Im kinda hurting right now. Oh yah that reminds me. If you ever run into her again make sure you dont get hit because it really hurts. Take care."

He waves to her and logs out of the area before Morty finds them and tries to kill them again.

Fiona gave a nod to Zero before he left, and was about to leave the area as well, but a voice caught her attention. A voice that was rather familiar. "Mafuyu?" she asked, turning around to see him. She let out a pained gasp as she felt one of the blades enter her body, right in her chest. "No...You're not him," she whispered, her eyes widening as the blade went all the way through. "Who are you...Where's MY Mafuyu?" she asked, gasping again as the blade was pulled out. She didn't recieve an answer from the look alike before she feel into darkness.

Lenne's hands went limp and the controller that she held dropped to the ground as she fell from her chair, onto the floor of the hospital. Her visor was still over her eyes.

As he entered the area he caught sight of Fiona."Wait a minute.....I can tell there's something wrong here....

"What the?!"Fate turned around and saw Lyn."You!"

"You can yell at me all you want,but I am not the one that has caused that."Lyn said.

"So what did?!"Fate yelled.

"The AI called Morty."Lyn responded.

"A AI?!"Fate said.

"Yes...stupid girl...she should of ran away while she had the chance."Lyn whispered.

"I heard that!"

"But it's best you don't remain here,unless you want to have the same fate as her...."Lyn said.She then warped out.

"T-tch!"Fate ignored Lyn's words and remained."Maybe I should informed the others about this."

To Zero
Something's happened to Fiona,
notify Mario and Kera as well.
We'll meet up at Omega server,
or if possible,maybe in the real world.

"That should do it."Fate said.Fate sent the mail to Zero."If that AI is still here.....I'll be ready."

"We'll be here to back you up."A voice said.

Two familiar characters stood behind Fate,one a male blademaster,the other a female Heavyblade.

"I-Ikaru?N-Naomi?"Fate froze.Then got into a sudden rage."H-hey!How the hell did you find me in the first place?!!!"

"Naomi's hacking skills."Ikaru said,his voice calm.

"Oh...."Fate turned around,slightly blushing.How can I be so stupid?Yelling all of a sudden.

"It's been a long time Saiyuko..."Naomi said.

"Well,then...."Fate smirked."If you're still there,show yourself!"Fate yelled his voice filled with confidence.

Mario, giving a slight smile of relief, told Kera, "My laptop is in Fiona's friend's room. I'll go get it and meet you in your room I guess." When the elevator stopped at their floor, Mario waved and said, "I'll meet you in your room..." The went off to Mafuyu's room to get his computer.

Still a little shaky from what had taken place downstairs in the food court, Mario entered the room and saw...Lenne...unconscious. Mario ran to her and lifted her head off the ground, holding her up. He took her visor and put it on. He could see blood...data blood. Fiona had been killed, it seemed. "Oh God...Damnit...DAMNIT!!!" He logged out of the game for her and threw the visor off. "Lenne...LENNE! Get up! Don't die!" Mario's voice seemed to be muffled to him, everything seemed like it was in slow motion for him...and once again, tears fell...

Mario's cried brought doctors and nurses into the room, Kate amoung them. She saw Fiona unconsious and the controller down on the ground. The screen was still glowing, and the nurse knew what had happened. "That game!" she yelled. "It was that game, wasn't it?! She still played that game, knowing full well that it could do something like this to her!" she hissed, her eyes wild and insane.

"You're her friend, aren't you?!" she snapped at Mario, heading towards him. "You should have stopped her from playing that stupid game! You and her both knew that it was that game that got Mafuyu in that condition!" Kate raved, and doctors had to hold her back as she looked ready to do something insane.

[Kera]

Kera ran hearing screaming "whats going on" She yelled behind all the docters "move out of my way" Kera pushed the docters out of her way "Mario what happend did she die in the game this is not kool" Kera was worried to death kera stood up and looked at her computer for a second "shes logged out yet shes still asleep" Kera started to curse under her breath "we better find some way to help her"

"she needs help" Keras mom came out of no where and glared at Kara and Mario "you two do not need to play that game any more and Kera i forbid you from playing" Keras mom walked over to Kate "she well be fine we just have to wait till she wakes up"

Kera stood back shaking :ow my god is this what happends when you die in the game: Kera was shaking "Mario is sh.... is she all right" Kera wasnt even listening to her mom she was going to get back in the game and figure out if any things wrong with her

As soon as the trio entered the area, Tanaya's head jerked sideways.

"What's wrong Tanaya?" Rena asked.

"Listen, I am going to have to ask you to stand back for a moment and be ready to transport out at any time. The enemy you are about to see is a vengefull AI. Or that's what we AI's call them.. They care nothing about the troubles of the world, but want to either experience or inflict death."

Tanaya jumped forward and landed just a few meters before Fate and his friends. She looked at a place in the air wich was seemingly empty and scowled at it.

"You can come out now Morty. You kow you cannot hide from me, you never could. I always managed to find you in the old days, and I haven't lost my touch."

Suddenly, the air seemed to riple before the AI materialized in the place. She smiled a cold and vicious smile and spoke in an even colder tone.

"You say that, Tanaya-chan, and yet you carry one of the artifacts. What does an AI need an artifact for? The only AI's who used that had lost their touch. Or do you really wish to fight me? To kill me? Your welcome to try."

"You wouldn't want to fight me." Tanaya replied. "Our battle would have a big chance to destroy this poorly maintained area. Thus destroying another hideout."

Morty scowled. "Still as sharp as ever I see. Verry well then, Tanaya-chan. What shall we do?"

OOC: im glad to see that you decided to play with morty to red storm. it makes things so much more interesting when theres an evil AI doesnt it. lol.

IC: Zero sends a message to Fiona to meet him at the area Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground in the Mac Anu server so they can hang out for a while and just talk about the recent events.

He waits there for hours hoping that she got the message but nobody shows up and no replys come.
"I wonder why she hasnt answered me back yet. Did I do something to make her mad?
*sigh* I guess i can wait a little longer."

BIC: Mario sobbed near Fiona's limp body...waiting for her to get up...but knowing she wouldn't. "Lenne...you were my first real friend in this world...the first person who cared...about me..." He said to her as more tears streamed doen his face.

Just as the doctors stormed in, Mario had decided to whipe his face off and go see Kera and tell her. But with the doctors came Kera. He whiped his face and kept his eyes on Lenne, not turning to face the people. As they scolded him and ordered him and Kera around, Mario's rage filled within his mind. He couldn't control it at this point...he would do something stupid.

Mario got himself up off the ground, whiped his face again, turned around and looked at Kate and Kera's mom, then all the doctors holding them back. "You people need to learn to shut the f*ck up and stay out of our business! You especially KATE! I barely know you, but I know you enough to know that you don't care for Lenne's needs...you don't care about her at all...you only care about your own freakin selfish desires! So shut up and leave this room! This is not your business, and by the way you think of this game...it never will be..." Mario was pissed. He grabbed a small chair and threw it near the crowd of doctors, missing them on purpose to warn them. "Leave now or fight me...you choose you bastards!" Mario had no fighting stance, only stood straight, looking at the crowd.

While most of the doctors backed off, Kate stood there, eyes wide. "I'm her step mother!" she hissed. "You don't tell me that I don't care about her! What am I going to tell her father, huh?! How do I tell him something that he won't believe. I can't just tell him that his only child has been placed into a coma because of a game! He didn't believe one bit of it with Mafuyu when he was stupid enough not to get out of a game that was about to kill him. Back then, he knew of the stories! That boy was nothing but trouble for Lenne, and I hope that he never wakes up!"

Kera was angry and scared suprised by Mario sudden outburst walked between Him and the doctors giveing every body death glares now in between Mario and the Doctors glareing strait at Kate and Her mom "i agree with Mario"Kera had a deadly tone in her voice much scarier then yelling "i will go back in the game and i will halp my friends and mother you need to mind you own god dam business" kera said alittle louder but still in a deadly tone "now back off now or most of you will get hurt" Kera said in an emotionless voice she was not afriad to hurt or kill any one not even her mother

keras mother was taken back by her daughters sudden out burst she was suprised when Mario throw the chair but her own daughter scared her more "fine kill your self for all i care" Keras mother started to yell "its not like your missed when your gone" Keras mother was angry and scared "if you die i want be the one resposible" Keras mom turned around after that and stormed off with many of the other doctors following

Kera was suprised by all of this but still didnt care she kept her emotionless face and and the cold hate full eyes didnt leave "good i never wanted to be your daughter in the first place bit**" Kera yelled after her mother and then turned to Mario her eyes softened alittle then went back cold. "i dont know if shell be ok" Kera said emotionlessly the turned and sent a death glare at Kate dareing her try any thing

Mario's eyes slowly began to close in fear...what had he just done? He had created a hatred between so many people... Well, by this time, Mario had decided to stop caring about the real world issues...about the doctors and the parents and the world itself...Mario needed to help Lenne...he needed to save her life...

Looking at the remaining doctors, then at Kate, Mario shook his head in shame of them all. He looked at Kera, "Kera...I'm going to save Lenne, and I need your help..." He took a peek at Kate. He said to her, "Get the hell out of here you retard...you don't care about what happens to Mafuyu...I don't care what happens to you...and I have a feeling that neither does Lenne! Screw you!" Mario gave the finger to the woman and put on his head set. Turning to Kera again, Mario said, "I'm going to find her soul...her dead body...she should be stuck in the world around there...come with me, take Lenne's computer and log on."

kera turned to Mario her eyes were still cold and full of haterd for her mother and for every one else that tried to stop her or got in her way " Ok ill use her computer" Kera walked over to it and put the head set one taking one last glance and logged in

"in!" Mario was logged in and saw Kera standing there, beside him. "Let's go...we have to get to the gate where we were waiting before." Mario ran and got to the gate. There was something there...a man...an AI. This one was different though...it's aura was dark..."You bastard! You dirty bastard!! You killed her!" Mario's sword was almost instantly in his hand..."You will die you monster! Trying to copy Mafuyu's look...you don't deserve to live...you didn't deserve one breath in this world..." Mario's sword almost acted on its own...through his anger, he struck the AI. No blood...no injury...nothing had happened...Huh?!...How can this be....? Mario thought in fear and confusion. Beside a tree lied Fiona...the dead girl who had been his first real friend.

Mario's body tensed up...knowing he would be in for a great battle now...he had started something. Damn me and my instigations...

"Mario!" Kera ran by his side and pulled out her twin blades "is this an AI Mario" Kera was afriad and mad but kept her voice and face cold then she looked at Fiona and anger flow though her body she was mad "this thing will die" kera got in to fighting stance ready to attack atv any moment. "how do you beet and AI if they cant get hurt" Kera said angrly her weapons seemed to glow now

"Mafuyu...The heavyblade female...She has been destroyed," a female voice called out.

"Lenne? Lenne has been killed in the game?" Mafuyu whispered, closing his eyes. "Where is she? Where is she at now? Has she become a ghost? ...Or has she been placed in a coma in the real world?" he asked, afraid of the answer.

"Comatose," the voice answered, full of sorrow. "Her location...She's at Omega Bigoted Snowflake's Capsule...You're going there, correct?"

"Of course I am...I don't care what happens if I leave, I have to find her and try and get her back to normal..." Mafuyu stated.

"You won't be able to do it easily," the female voice warned. "You may have to give up your very soul..."

Mario watched as the AI stood there. "Bastard..." he backed away a little and stood right beside Kera. "The only thing I can think of that will kill this monster...is Mafuyu himself..." Mario felt hopeless now, there was nothing he could do. He stood in a fighting stance, his sword began to glow brilliantly. The blue light from the sword kept him feeling safe in the battle. "I just hope we can hold this thing off until Mafuyu senses it..."

Unknown Area

"If it comes down to that, then that's what will be done..." Mafuyu said with a small smile on his face. "Right now, the thing that's important is to rid The World of that AI...I know that Tanaya will hold off Morty, but the other one that posed as me..."

"I understand," the female's voice whispered, echoing out through the area. "Very well...I shall transport you there..."

Mafuyu was transported right to the area, by Fiona's side. When he saw the state she was in, his eyes widened, and he looked towards the AI that had done this to her. "You..."

[Kera]

Kera turned around and saw Mafuyu "hey what are you doing here" kera voice sounded angry but it was the anger left from the hospital "how do you kill this AI" Kera tried to attack but as she say nothing happend "how do you kill this thing" Kera kept attacking her weapons glowing green but still doing no damage fell back beside Mario and was breathing hard "sorry had to see if any thing worked" now Kera was tired from her little attemts at trying to hurt the AI

"Me? I'm here to kick that AI out of existance," Mafuyu answered, his eyes narrowed at the male AI that was standing there with a smug look on his face. "You won't be able to do anything against it. Leave the garbage to me and try to see if you can't help Lenne out," he ordered.

"So...Aura has let the real you out to finish me?" the AI asked, laughing. "I'm very amused that she did something like that...That she believed that you could delete me, I mean. Why not just come out and do it herself?"

"Because you hurt somebody that's close to me...I can't allow you to live after you've done that! Sure, Aura could have wasted her time and effort to keep you in check, but that's not her style," Mafuyu said.

Mario stood in shock as Mafuyu popped into the scene from nowhere. "Ma...Mafuyu..." Mario's face lightened up a little, knowing there would be hope in this fight now.

When he was ordered to help Lenne, Mario was already on top of it. "Got it!" he said as he ran over and lifted Fiona onto his shoulder. "Kera, let's stand back...let Mafuyu take this fight on alone..." Mario ran back a few feet and stayed close enough to jump in if there was anything he could do.

"Mafuyu...if there's anything I can do to help...tell me. I promise that I won't let you or Lenne down!" Mario dropped Fiona lightly onto the ground beside himself, and he knelt down to stay beside her.

[Chibi-chan]

"See if anything will revive her, though if she didn't become a ghost, I doubt items will help," Mafuyu called to him. He tightened his grip on his blades and his eyes narrowed at the AI. "I want to know who you are..."

"Let's just say that I'm a 'friend' of Morty," he replied. "Though I suppose that you can call me Rajiin," he added, taking out his blades as well. He was still in Mafuyu's player form, smirking.

"So...You follow Morty, do you?" Mafuyu sighed, shaking his head. "How very unsurprising, considering that you aim to kill!" he hissed, lunging forward at Rajiin.

[Kera]

Kera ran away from the AI and gave Mafuyu room to fight and ran to Fionas side "how are we supposed to help her" kera was getting scared in the real world her body was shaking uncontrolably and is was hard for her to control her charactar "Mario im scared" Kera said in a small frightend voice but still tried to help even at her level and experance she can at least try

Zero decides to go back to the corupted area to see if Morty is still there.
"Since Fiona isnt here to help me. It looks like Ill just have to go there on my own and hope for the best."

Omega Bigoted Snowflakes Capsule:

He appears in the far corner of the area and starts killing a monster or two along the way so he can lvl up for the battle against Morty. After a while he gets so strong that he clears out the outside of the field.
"Phew....... im tired, but i guess i have to keep going and i think i have just enough items left to stand a slight chance against Morty."

Then he walks through the front door into the dungeon and takes in a deep breath before continuing in.
"ok..... here we go."

Mario checked for a pulse on Fiona...there was one. She was still alive...not a ghost. "Mafuyu...be careful buddy...Lenne would not want to hear of you dying...that would destroy her..." Mario pulled Fiona a little further from the battle grounds and hid her behing a bush with him. Looking down at the unconscious body of Fiona, Mario prayed, "Lenne...wake up...you're alive, I know it. Don't die now...friend..." His head fell to meet her shoulder. "Get up..."

When Kera hid near Mario and told him of her fear, he nodded, "I'm scared too Kera...I may be a high leveled character...but not nearly high enough to compete with those AIs..."

"I know that, Mario!" Mafuyu called, blocking the AI's blows and trying to get a slash at him. "Hold still and let me hit you!" he scowled. This AI called Rajiin was rather swift and hard to hit, due to his bouncing around all the time.

"What's the trouble?" he taunted, smirking as he slashed away at the transparent twinblade that was willing to throw everything away just for revenge on a girl that was no longer living. At least, he thought that she wasn't alive any longer.

Fiona could hear a voice. The voice of somebody familiar, yet she couldn't quite place whose. There were two voices...one male and the other female. Who were they? Somehow, she had a feeling that she knew. Somebody was holding her, she could feel them...

[Kera]

"shes still alive im glad" Kera smiled a weak smiled glad her friend was a live "Fiona dont give up ok" Kera said in a calm sweet voice trying to help her friend "Were here for you Fiona and were not going to leave" kera smiled again she really wanted Fiona to open her eyes and smile again she missed fiona "Mario how do you think hes doing with the AI" Kera took a worried glance at The AI and the man

Mario looked up at Kera's face and shook his head, "It doesn't look too good for Mafuyu..." he paused for a few seconds, watching the battle. The imposter AI was swiftly dodging every move thea Mafuyu threw at him. "...I'm going to help Mafuyu. I know there's a way to hurt the AIs...I just have to figure it out..." Mario stood up and unsheathed his sword. It glowed a bright blue...the blue aura seemed to be ignited...a blue flame surrounded Mario's sword. "I'm coming to help Mafuyu!" Mario called as he ran and stoof beside the AI.

"Tell me how to hurt him...that's what I'm here for. I want to help you kill this bastard...because it tried to kill my friend..." he looked at Mafuyu, "Tell me what to do..."

[Kera]

Kera looked at both Mario and Mafuyu worried "i cant help im to weak" Kera sat besides Fiona with her head hung down in a sad expersion "i will never be as strong as my friends.... never" Kera said in a wisper not wanting Mario ro Hear Kera just sat there looking at the ground having no way of helping Fiona. "fiona there fighting for you i would be fighting to if only i was a higher level" Kera said to Fiona knowing she was asleep and looked once again down in saddness and anger at herself

"...You...Don't need to fight in order to help me," Fiona murmured suddenly. Somehow, even though she wasn't at a screen or anything, she was still talking. She hadn't awakened yet, but was still talking with Kera. "Just stay with me, that's all I want..."

"This is up to me alone, Mario!" Mafuyu said, jumping back as Rajiin barely missed him. "I don't know what your player can do...I don't know how he can help in this fight!" he admitted, slashing at the AI.

Rajiin laughed and slashed Mafuyu's arm when he struck at him. Now Mafuyu was short one blade as his now useless hand fell at his side. "Yes, cry out in agony," he laughed as Mafuyu hissed out a pained sound.

As Mafuyu's arm fell limp by his side, Mario thought hopelessly, I have to do something...but what can I do as a normal character? His eyebrows pointed downward...he had to try something. He screamed, "Bastard!" as he slashed at
the AI's body, seemingly inflicting a large gash across it. There was no blood, only mist. Did I get him...? Mario asked himself, hoping he helped.

He looked back at Kera and Fiona and saw Fiona's mouth moving. "She's awake..." Mario said to himself, loud enough for Mafuyu to hear it. He took his eyes off the phenomenon that he witnessed, and looked back at the imposter AI that he hoped was injured.

[Chibi-chan]

Rajiin yelled out in surprised as the player attacked him, staggering back and holding the wound. It seemed that Mario actually was able to handle his weapon...But how could he have done it? Could it be the anger that the boy was feeling. "How...How dare you!" he hissed.

Mafuyu was also surprised, then glanced over towards Fiona. "...She's...fine?" he whispered, letting out a relieved sigh. He then glared at Rajiin, "You were the one who placed her in that comatose state...It's time for you to die!" he shouted. The injury that Mario had givin the AI had lowered his speed and gave Mafuyu the chance to end this. "Die!" he hissed, rushing forward and striking him across the neck.

A blank look crossed the AI's face and he turned into his regular form, dropping to his knees and holding his neck, the white mist flowing out of him. "How could I loose?" he gasped. "How?!"

[Kera]

Kera was shocked by Fiona talking "Fiona im gload your ok" Kera looked at Mario and Smiled "you guys beet him im glad" Kera smiled a big smile "fiona ill be right back promise i well never leave you for long" Kera got up and ran over to Mario "you guys are awsome i cant believe it that was so kool" Kera looked at the fake AI "and you mister should know better to attack are friends" Kera said angrly still angry from the hospital didnt help "For attacking my friends and hurting them i would have killed you if i were at a higher level" Kera was mad and Giveing the fake a death glare from hell "Hn" Kera stood there looking angry

Mario was glad, letting out a large smile of triumph. "We did a good job there Mafuyu...but I want you to do something for me now. I helped you, now you help me." He looked over to Fiona and smiled, "I want you to stay here and talk to us...us including Lenne..." Mario moved his hand up and placed it on Mafuyu's shoulder. Surprised that he was able to touch the AI, Mario quickly brushed it off and asked, "Will you stay here until we can get Lenne up in the real world? Can you wait for us?" Then Mario had a slightly brilliant idea, "You know what...if you aren't able to wait for Lenne to get up...tell me where you will be. She wants to see you and she wants to talk to you. Do you know how worried she is that you might die?!"

Mario began to get angry for no reason...except the fact that he was standing up for Lenne. "Decide...will you stay or will you go?"

[Chibi-chan]

Mafuyu closed his eyes and shook his head some. "I would love to tell you where I am, but I can't let out that information," he said with a sigh. "I would also like nothing more than to stay by Lenne's side and help her through this, but...I can't stay long. I'm not an AI right now, I'm just a wandering soul in this game, as strange as that may sound. There are only a few chosen places in The World where I can stay and not fade...This place isn't one of them," he said in a voice full of regret. "I have to leave her and break her heart once again..." he whispered, looking to Lenne. "I'm sorry, Mario..."

Mario crossed his arms as he listened to Mafuyu's words. He was patient this time however...he was able to let Mafuyu go and wait for their next meeting. "Fine, Mafuyu...if you have to go...go..." Mario looked at his face, the young guy who he went to school with...a living soul from a dead body. "I understand the fact that you can fade in The World...so get to safety. But I need to be assured that we will meet again when Lenne is better...we need to talk with you. Lenne needs to see you alive and well...she truly cares about you and wants you alive again." Mario looked Mafuyu in the eyes and said, truthfully, "I vow to you and to Lenne that I will save you...that I will have your soul returned to your lifeless body in that hospital room...whether you want me to or not..." Mario smiled and nodded. "I won't have failure as an option Mafuyu...so prepare yourself to be saved..." Mario laughed slightly and patted Mafuyu's shoulder, "Get out before you fade..I'll tel Lenne you're okay..."

Mafuyu gave a soft smile and nodded a little, "Don't overdo it," he warned before disappearing into thin air. He hated to leave Lenne the way she was, but it couldn't be helped.

Unknown Area

"I commend you on your victory, Mafuyu..." the female voice told him when he came back. "Though you let your anger get ahold of you and that's probably the reason why you needed help from that player," she said.

"Yes, I'm well aware of this, but the sight of her just laying there," he murmured, closing his eyes. "I just couldn't take it..."

Mario smiled, "I can't promise anything, Mafuyu!" he said as Mafuyu disappeared. Looking over to Kera, Mario said, "Let's go back to see if Fiona's alright..." He began to walk over to the bush where he hid Fiona. He knelt by her side and lifted her head up again, keeping her elevated. "Lenne...that freak who hurt you...we killed him. Mafuyu and myself..." He smiled victoriously as he spoke to her. "I want you to know that Mafuyu is well...he seems to be in an alright condition...and he was upset that he had to leave you...I have a feeling we'll see him again soon." Mario spoke confidently to Fiona, as if she could hear him...he could only hope that her coma would break and she would awaken soon...for he began to worry again.

[Kera]

Kera was glad every one was alright but now she wanted to see if her friend fiona was ok "Hey Fiona told you i wouldnt be gone long" Kera sat down next to Fiona and put her hand on Fionas arm "please be ok Fiona" Kera weakly smiled but her face turned emotionless like before "Mario i wish i could have helped more but if i tried i would have been in the way im sorry for my weakness" Kera looked at Fiona and a tear sled down her face "only if i was sronger but i was able to stay by your side at least Fiona" Kera said emoyionlessly and smiled alittle

Fiona heard both of them, her eyes slowly opening as she heard Mafuyu's name mentioned. "...I thought I told you not to call me by my real name while we're in the game," she murmured, sitting up and holding her wound. It hurt...Why did it hurt? "Kera...Thank you so much for not leaving my side except for that small amount of time," she said, wincing a little bit. "Thank you, too, Mario..." she added. "Thank you for helping me to the best of your abilities..."

"Ho...how did you get up Le...Fiona?!" Mario yelped as she got up. He realized the humour in her voice when she mentioned her name to Mario. "Heh...sorry Fiona..." Mario helped her up. He took his hands away from Fiona and hoped she could stand alone. He had his hands ready to catch her if she fell. "Fiona...Kera...I want to log out to see if you're okay in the real world. I have to see if you're really okay or if you've just become an AI..." Mario logged out.

[Kera]

Kera understood well must of what was going on and sence Mario left Kera was going to have to help Fiona stand up "are you ok do you need a potion or some thing" Kera said alittle worried but still emotionless she didnt feel like talking right now any more but she wanted to stay by her friends side *sigh* "anger is a bad thing some times if you wake up in the real world or going to find alot of pissed off doctors and a destoyed room" Kera said with little humer "and i cant go home any more my mom practily kicked me out of the house" Kera said with anger in her voice trying not to seem like she was directing it to fiona "but im glad you ok at least weve missed you" Kera said with a fake smile

"I'm sorry that I made the two of you worry," Fiona told Kera, then frowned after Mario left. "...I can't log out," she whispered. "I can't log out because...I'm not at the computer any longer..." she realized, looking frightened. "I'm not at a computer, so I can't log out of the game, so how is this character moving? I'm not see through, so...I'm not an AI..."

Back at the hospital, Lenne had been placed in a hospital room, and nurses were hooking her up to sensors. Kate was amoung the nurses doing this, and she didn't look very happy.

[Kera]

"crap i just remembered im using your computer ill log off really fast ok can you stay here for a bit and stay out of trouble" Kera said alittle jokingly

kera took off the head set and seeing Mario gone went looking for Fionas body "where is she i need to get her to the computer" Kera ran down the halls not even slowing down. after about 5 mins of running found the run Fiona was locked in "dang i gotta find Mario i cant do this by myself" Kera ran all over the place looking for him

Mario was searching for Lenne. She seemed to have been taken into a hospital room to heal. "Damn it...damn doctors!" Mario ran and searched frantically.

After a few minutes Mario could see a figure of a girl down the hall...she was running too. "Kera?!" Mario ran closer...it was Kera. "Kera...Aahh! Why'd you leave Fiona alone?! We have to get to her room and hook her up to a computer...the only problem is...we don't know her password!"

Mario beat his head with his hands and looked back down the hall. "Have you found her yet, Kera? We need to get to her and give her my laptop. We can bring it without having to hook it up. The only thing we need after that is to get those freakin doctors out of the room..."

[Chibi-chan]

Fiona smiled a little at what Kera said and let out a sigh. "If I'm not consious...How do I log out of here? I've been put in the same boat as Mafuyu, and yet...I'm not an AI like he's become? Or has he become something other than an AI?" she wondered out loud, beginning to pace back and forth for no reason at all. "It's getting so very confusing around here!" she yelled out suddenly, becomming quite frustrated all of a sudden. "I mean, tis game has been taken to a whole new level of...well, not of fun," she ended lamely.

[Kera]

Kera nodded ehr head "i know where she is shes in the last room down this hall way" kera took off running to the room and stopped in front of the door and went through her jacket for a key card to open the door "where is it where is it" Kera went through her jacket more taking out gum and a note book but no keycard then she remembered she put it in her shoe for safe keeping "hehehe i put it here so no one takes it" kera took the key card out and handed it to Mario "you open the door my moms in there i don want her seeing me" kera said in anger

Mario took the key card and slipped it into the slot. "Access granted" it read on the screen of the key card slot. The green light went off and the door unlocked. Mario rushed in and went to Lenne. "She's still out...we need to get my computer in here!" Mario ran back to the room and grabbed his laptop, then bolted back to the room where Lenne was lying. He ignored the doctors orders to stop and get out. "Shut up! All of you! I'm trying to save her!" Mario put his head set on her head and put the computer in front of her, typing in 'Fiona'...but he didn't know her password. "Damnit!" Mario yelled out and called Kera.

"Kera, go back to the room and log on...ask Fiona what her password is...we need to log her in!" Mario was scared and very anxious.

[Kera]

Kera was scared that second when mario kinda yelled at her and took off down the hall agian and run over lots of doctors "hes worried its scary" Kera tripped over her own feet going around a corner and landed hard on the ground almost knocking herself out "dam gotta keep going" Kera had trouble getting up but still did and ran to the computer and logged in as fast as she could

"fiona Fiona?!" Kera ran to were Fiona was and spoke fast "fiona we need your pass word so we can log you in and get your soul back into your body" Kera said fast she was scared and worried at hurt in real life when she fell "Fiona we need your pass word bad" Kera said slowly and calmerbut her voice was full of worry and pain

Fiona kind of blinked in surprise, wondering how they were planning on getting her to wake up back in the real world. "My password?" she echoed, then laughed a little. "I would think that Mario would be able to figure out what that is!" she stated, shaking her head slightly. She whispered the password in Kera's ear, even though there wasn't anybody around to hear it if she spoke it out loud to the girl. However, she wasn't willing to take chances. "My password is...Mafuyu," she told her.

[Kera]

"Thank you hope to see you soon" Kera logged off as fast as she could again

real world

Kera ran down the halls once again running faster this time trying to get the pain out of her ankle but it wasnt going away "stupid fall" Kera rans to the door almost falling around the corneragain but saved herself "Mario i got it its so simple" Kera quiekli limped to Mario and wispered the pass word in his ear "Mafuyu" Kera then limped out the door and sat down hard leaning on the wall trying to ignore the pain shooting through her leg and arm she had to save her slef by slaming her shoulder on the wall so one of her hands were on her shoulder and the other was linp at her side "i think i dislocated my shoulder" she wispered to herself

Mario grew impatient and started guessing while Kera was gone. 'Lenne', 'Heavyblade', and more ideas crossed his mind, when he finally realized something...she loved Mafuyu...the password had to be Mafuyu... At that moment, Kera stormed in and told him, he was sure now. "Thanks! Alright Lenne...time to save you!" Mario entered the password and saw the loading bar.

In the World...

"Yes! We did it!" Mario jumped up slightly. The doctors began to pull him away from Lenne. "Damn you, get off!" Mario started throwing back punches at the doctors. A few of them punched back. How am I supposed to fight five doctors? Wait...I took out four Black Sun all alone...when I met Kera... Mario felt hits to his back, his shoulder blades. I can't fight back...I'll be taken to jail for breaking the law... Mario ran from the room, a few doctors chased him. "Kera! Make sure Nobody logs Lenne off! She has to stay on...I have a plan!" Mario ran down the hall and stopped instantly, bent over, and watched as two doctors flipped over his shoulders. He ran back into Mafuyu's room, where Lenne was. He closed the door and locked it, only a key card could get it open.

Mario logged into the world on the hospital computer.

In the World...

Mario found Fiona behind the bush, where he left her. "I'm sorry I left you Lenne...but I got you logged in in your hospital room...you can log out now...can't you?" Mario panted as he caught his breath.

[Kera]

"Mario aer you crazy i cant even stand up" Kera yelled after him when he was being chased Kera noticed all the doctors were out of the room because they went after Mario "ok thats good but they'll be back" Kera slowly got up and stubbled into the room and locked the door behind her and reprogramed it to only open from the inside "ok lets see computers still ok Fiona looks like shes sleeping an dthe door is locked thats good and Mario will be able to get in here by using my keycard all planned out....." after that last words Kera began to sway on her feet and the ground came up fast every thing blacked out Kera fainted and know was on the ground

Fiona looked at him and frowned a little, looking quite confused. "Mario...I don't know how to log out," she whispered, looking down. "I'm not even consious back in the real world!" she murmured, shaking her head. "How do I log out if I can't move my body?!" she asked, looking a little fearful. She didn't know what to do now. If she couldn't log out, would she remain asleep, just like Mafuyu? Become what he was currently? What was going to happen to her?

Mario looked back up at Fiona from his gasping position. "...I forgot about that...Damnit!" Mario yelled out in shame. He thought he had it all figured out...he thought he could save her this way...but he was wrong. Mario looked at Fiona's eyes and placed his hands on her shoulders, surprised that he could still touch her. He was instantly discouraged by the fact that she was uncapable of logging out...but he had one final idea. "Lenne...I want you to concentrate on what I am saying...do not accept any distractions...this is important. I'm going to try and wake you up from here." Mario looked up at the sky and raised his arms, hoping it would give him some kind of power to speak through the gap between the game and reality.

"Lenne...you're hooked up to the computer, in a hospital bed. You are logged in to The World. You are able to log out once you've logged in. But you are asleep and cannot log out...though if you wish to live among reality...you must wake up! You have to wake up now! We're trying our hardest in the real world to keep doctors out from the room you're in...Kera and I are trying to save you! Please...wake up!!!" Mario felt so confident now as he screamed into the sky...although a little embarrassed. If only Mafuyu could be here...I'm sure he could help me... Mario thought, slightly losing hope.

Mario, now finished talking to what he believed was Lenne in the real world, looked at Fiona and assured hre of something very important and very true. "Lenne...you were my first real friend...and I want you to know...I love you. Mafuyu loves you. Everyone you know, including Kate...loves you! Wake up!" Mario stressed this to her so she could tap into reality and try to wake up...

[Chibi-chan]

Fiona's face was suddenly glazed in anger. "What do you mean, Kate?!" she asked, crossing her arms. "Wait...Kate was there when I collapsed?" she pondered, a small smirk crossing her face. "You know, I think that me being in a coma may be...a good thing," she said to Mario. "I mean, if Kate was around, it makes it her responsibility, right?!"

Now the heavyblade was concentrated on something way different than getting out of The World and out of her coma. "If she was supposed to be watching me and stopping me from playing the game, then my father will be furious with her...Might even divorce her!" she laughed. "This all works out perfectly!"

Mario's jaw dropped when Fiona began to speak in anger. "Damn you Lenne! What the hell is wrong with you?! Whether you hate Kate or not...we all want you back...I know you despise her...I know you hate her Lenne...but she doesn't hate you...you just think she does..." Mario tried hard to find the right words to say...but they obviously didn't come out properly. "Look...I know I'm not making you feel any better...but I realy want you back Lenne...I really...care about you..." Mario hugged her and held back tears. He was still quite emotional from his talk with Kera. "Please come back Lenne...you're special to me..."

[Chibi-chan]

Fiona let out a sigh and shook her head a bit. "I...Sorry, Mario," she murmured softly. "I know that you want me back and all, but I don't know how to wake up back in the real world..." she said, now in a near whimper. She hated the feeling that she couldn't even wake up for the sake of her friends, even though they have done so very much for her. "I...Can't wake up!" she cried, hugging him back, trembling slightly.

Mario backed off of Fiona and said in an angry voice. "What?! You can't wake up?! You haven't even tried..." Mario knew it was near impossible for Lenne in the real world to know how to get up. He hugged her again and a tear fell off his face, "I...I'm sorry Lenne...I just wnat you to be happy...and I don't want to be without you...I'm so scared..." Mario began to let more tears fall and soon he was crying again...for another friend. "I love you Lenne...you're my best friend..." He squeezed her tightly, but not so much that it would hurt.

[Chibi-chan]

"I wouldn't know how to go about waking up," Fiona told him. Her heart was ready to break, seeing her friend crying over her like this. "I'm fine, alright? I'm fine right now, other than just laying in a hospital room. In this game, I'm fine...I mean...I've always wondered what it would be like to actually live in a game and all..." she murmured, trying to think of some way in which she could possibly stop Mario from being crushed about the situation.

[Kera]

Kera was still knocked out and didnt know what was going on she didnt know why she fainted and now she felt a great pain in the shoulder she hit and now was laying on it its still dislocated and her ankle was numb and the pain ran through her body but she couldnt feel it any more Kera felt like she was lost in endless darlness with no light at the end she felt alone and lost with out no one to care fro her and for her to care about all of her emotions seemed gone and out of reach laying on the cold floor wasnt helping

"Lenne...LENNE!" Mario felt so embarrassed about his tears, but he couldn't control it. "I'm sorry I let this happen to you...I should have stayed by your side the entire time...I should never have left you...I'm such a stupid idiot! Becuase you got mad at me...I left..." Mario decided it was time to stop crying. It was time to face his fear of being alone, about losing a friend. But...he also decided to embrace it...to fight it.

Mario whiped his tears and took Fiona by the shoulders again. His red eyes looked at hers and he clearly promised, "Lenne...I will save you and Mafuyu...if it's the last thing I freakin do!" He kissed her forehead, in such a way that he told her he would always be there, and backed away. "I'm going back to the hospital...I want to take you away from the machines...I don't want you to be hooked up to the computer anymore...I want you to rest in peace for now. But soon, Lenne...soon I will save you!"

Logged out of The World...

Mario was sitting on Mafuyu's bed, a tear fell from his eye, but he quickly removed his head set and whiped the tear. "Lenne...I will have you back here!" Mario remembered the doctors were still outside the room...waiting for him. "Damnit..." Mario talked to himself, but began to plot his way out.

He thought up a plan and followed it. Mario went to the door and apologized to the doctors, and when he heard them stop barging at the door, he silently unlocked it, opened it and ran to Lenne's room. He swiped the key card and got in, locking the door again. "Phew...hew...hu..." Mario panted. He looked at Lenne on the bed and nodded to himself. He removed the computer and head set from her. "I'm sorry Lenne...I swear I will save the both of you..." Mario held her hand for a bit.

He turned around to look up at the clock. But when he looked, he found Kera lying unconscious on the ground, by the door. "K...Kera!" Mario ran to her and lifted her up. He carried her to a chair and put her on it. "Kera...wake up..." Mario flicked her ears, flicked her nose. He wanted to see if she was alright. "That damn game!!" Mario put rested his head on Kera's shoulder and fell asleep instantly. He was so worn out by the crying and the screaming and the events of thse day that he blacked out.

[Kera]

Kera slowly woke up with clouded eyes at some one laying on her hurt shoulder "mario" Kera said in an emotionless voice "my shoulder" kera flinched once but that was it she still had a clouded look in her eyes and her face was emotionless then she said to herself "why did i faint, What was i doing i cant remember" Kera looked at Mario "hes tired what happend" Kera said this to herself and flinched again "stupid shoulder why did i have to hurt it" Kera said then fell into a slow calm sleep

Uknown Area

"She still hasn't logged out? Still comatose?" Mafuyu was practically yelling. "But why?! I could have sworn that if I defeated Rajiin, that..."

"Just because you got rid of the cause doesn't mean that she would awaken, Mafuyu," the female voice whispered. "You of all people should remember that, Mafuyu...Even after that incident was resolved, you still remained trapped..."

"Yes, but...There has to be some way that I can help her!" Mafuyu cried out, shaking his head.

Mario slept peacefully on Kera's shoulder, but noticed some squirming from her. He became concious again. He raised his head and opened his eyes. "K..Kera, I'm sorry...I didn't mean to fall asleep on you like that..." He got off of her and stumbled backward. He seemed to have drowned his sorrows in his dreams, for he wasn't angry or sad any more. He had put himself to sleep and he had left his emotions in his thoughts.

Mairo looked back at Lenne, lying peacefully in her bed. He could see her chest moving slightly, showing breathing, and her finger seemed to twitch a little as she slept. Thank God she's still alive... Mario thought to himself under a smile. The sunlight from the window shone onto her in such a way that made her look like she was dreaming and was happy.

Mario took his eyes off the sleeping Lenne and looked at Kera again and said, "Kera...I just want you to know...I'm sorry for everything I've done wrong. Whether I hurt you at all or not...I want to say I'm sorry." He stood up and walked over to the window, looking outside to the sky. "It's beautiful outside...looks about three o'clock..." Mario turned to look at the clock. It read - 3:47 pm. "Close..." Mario said quietly to himself. "Kera...what happened to you before I came back?" Mario asked worried as he looked out the window, watching the clouds move by slowly.

kera looked up at Mario "alot of stuff happend i didnt mind you sleeping on my shoulder its just that i dislocated it when i ramed it into a wall" Kera put her hand on her shoulder then tried to stand up but fell back down cause her ankle still hurt "and as for the fainting thing i dont know why that happend i just felt dizzy and tired and the shoulder and ankle pain didnt help" Kera looked down "theres no need to be sorry when theres nothing you did wrong" Kera faked a smile then flitched again afraid of trying to put her arm in place by herself might just hurt her more "i should be the one sorry" Kera looked down and covered her eyes with her bangs

Mario looked to Kera's face as she hid it with her bangs. "Kera...there are things you have done...that I know have effected me...but I forgive you. Please accept my forgiveness...there's no need to feel bad about anything right now. We just have to relax and deal with the crap we're living in." He noticed pain in her body...she was tensed up. "You dislocated your shoulder...?" Mario walkd over to her and took her arm, delicately into his hand. One hand on her shoulder, and one around her waist, to keep her in position. He was knelt down beside her, "I'll fix it Kera...but it will hurt. Just look at the sky..." Mario quickly thrust his hand into her shoulder, popping the bone back into place. He heard a pop..."It worked!" Mario backed away from her a little, keeping his hand on her shoulder to reduce as much pain as he could.

Kera almost screamed but did not she clenched her hands and her jaws and a few tears exscaped "thanks Mario" Kera said still feeling the after afect but it soon went away "i can always forgive you Mario you know that" Kera smiled and looked up at Mario "thank you again that was really starting to hurt" Keras houlder was still numb "i wish we could help lenne more i feel so useless" Keras anger rose and she back fisted to wall with her once dislocated shoulder for getting it was just put back in place "stupid me i can never learn" Kera held her wrist the wall was much stronger then her thats for sure *sigh* "what do we do now" Kera said with an emotionless face on "i cant go home as you heard from are little fight earlier my mom well only kick me out and she now hates me and i hate her" Kera Sighed again this time getting up and looked at Mario then half walked half limped to the window and put her hands and the window seal and looked out

Mario watched Kera walk to the window. "I'm glad I could help you Kera...I hope it doesn't hurt too much..." Mario almost regreted putting it back in for her. He walked up beside her and looked out the window with her. "It's very nice out..." Mario stated, placing his arm around Kera's back and across to her opposite shoulder. "I'm glad we can be happy Kera...but I'm so sad...so scared that we might not save Lenne...or Mafuyu..." Mario put his head close to Kera's resting it lightly on hers. "I need your help Kera...I need you to stay with me in The World...next time we go. I need you with me...because I can't do this alone. I was supposed to help Lenne save Mafuyu, but now she's in the same condition."

Mario was scared, but hid it slightly with a small, unreal smile. His eyes began to water a little, but he closed them and hid his sandess behind his eyelids.

"Mario, are you all right" Kera said in an almost unreal voice full of sadness "it doesnt hurt any more" Kera kept looking out the window leting Mario lean on her "ill be there always im also scared for every one my fear of what might happen to myself is gone i want to help are friends more" Kera smiled then sighed and looked up at the sky throw the window and saw to birds "only wish this world was as free as those birds" Kera said iemotionlessly she seemed to be losing all of her emotions except fot the sad and angry ones. "i will be there if you need me promise i would never leave you in this time of need and destruction" Kera said with anger but soon gained her emotionless self again and looked out the window

"...I'm going to wake her up," Mafuyu stated, looking ready to teleport to the area Fiona was at.

"Mafuyu!" the voice scolded. "You know that if you attempt such a thing..." she began, but Mafuyu's glare at the sky stopped the girl from speaking.

"I know that I could loose the chance of waking up myself...I know, but she doesn't deserve the same fate that I have!" he said in a deadly voice, leaving the voice behind as he teleported.

Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground

Having read where Fiona's presence was, he found her inside the large building, looking longingly at the statue of the young woman. "Fiona..."

Fiona snapped out the trance that she seemed to be in and spun around to see Mafuyu right in front of her. "Mafuyu?!" she asked, tears comming to her eyes. It was a little surprising to her, that she could actually have tears running down her cheeks in this game.

Mario's eyes closed in sadness. She's losing herself to the disease...I can't let this happen to her... Mario turned his head, taking it off of Kera's head. He looked at her face as it stared into nothingness. "Kera...you're dying...I know. I don't want to see this. I'm not ready to face the death of all my friends...I love you Kera...I care about you so much...and I'm supposed to protect you. I promised I would protect you...but look at you now...you're dying right in front of me. There is nothing I can do to save you...I just hope I can find a way...somehow..." Mario had an emotionless face as well now. He had cried out all his tears before.

Mario put his hand around Kera's shoulders again and put his face to hers again. He kissed her cheek lightly, in a way that told her he was sorry. "I don't want you to die...so...I apologize for anyhing that happens...but I will save you. I promised I would, and if it kills me...I'll have you back to normal."

Keras eyes widend in shock :hes right i am dying just because of that game i will not die: "Mario im sorry for scaring you you mean alot to me to ive never had a friend as caring as you......never" Kera smiled a true smile "Ill fight whats going on with me promise i dont feel like dying right now that wouldnt be fun, that it wont" Kera smiled once again then stared out the window in thought this time "do you think we should get back in the game see what we can do" :i gotta help fix whats wrong with me i gotta i dont want my friends worried any more: "im thinking to much now hehe i gotta get my labtop from home and some thinks before my mom gets home" Kera said with alittle anger in her voice

Mario's face turned cold. He knew he was going to feel intense pain once Kera left him. "I can't let you die, damnit! I won't!" Mario took himself off of Kera and took her hand. "Kera...we have to save you and Lenne. Let's get back into that game and do what we must!" Mario turned to look at the door...knowing there must have been doctors out there. "Let's go to your house and get you things...and from there, we should go to the park, the one by the new plaza that just opened. We'll go there and play until you're cured!" Mario was serious and had no doubt that she could be saved.

"Lenne," Mafuyu whispered, taking her by the hand and pulling her close to him. He rested his head on top of hers, holding her close. "Lenne...Do you wish to go back to the real world? To awaken?" he asked her. "I know you do..."

"Well, of course I want to go back, but I'm in a coma! How do I get out of this game if I'm sleeping?" Fiona asked, closing her eyes and feeling comfortable in his hold. "Besides, if I'm here in The World, I can stay with you! You can bring me to where you've been staying all this time!"

"You can't...I can't allow you to do that," he told her. When she pulled away enough to look up at him, he sighed. "Listen...Right now, as it stands, I probably can't get out of The World ever. I'll probably just be staying here for the rest of my existance, never awaking...I don't want you having the same fate," he whispered.

Fiona's eyes widened at these words and she looked ready to say something, but she didn't get the chance. Mafuyu had steadied her chin in his hand and kissed her. When he did, her vision became blurry and she closed her eyes, seeming to drift off slowly into sleep.

The Real World

Lenne's eyes opened, and she found herself looking up at the ceiling of a rather familiar place. After few seconds, she sat up quickly, touching her lips. "Mafuyu..." she whispered. "I'm back?" she asked, getting out of the hospital bed and heading out of the room, looking for Kera and Mario. Her face was masked with confusion.

"Lenne!" Kera yelled after her "lenne you away im so happy" kera longed at her and gave a huge hug "im so glad your awake" kera was so happy "Me and Mario were so worried, that we were" Kera was smiling so much that her cheeks started to hurt she let go of Lenne "i gotta go to my house so see you guys at the park unless you follow me if you can keep up" Kera took off throw tha hospital at a dead run and ran down the street to her house she loved to run and she once was on the track team :ok i need my labtop and i need to change into some thing else besides these dress cloths that mom made me wear:

Mario's head turned slowly, his eyes watering slightly. Lenne... "Lenne!" Mario turned and ran to her as she came out of the room. He hugged her tightly. His friend was alive...and seemed to be in good condition. He rested his head on her shoulder and a few tears dropped from his cheeks. "Lenne...I'm so glad you're alive!"

Mario continued to hold her...but quickly realized that it was too easy. Her reincarnation was too simple...she just appeared out of nowhere. "Lenne...how are you alive? It's not that I'm not happy...I just don't understand how it was so easy for you to come back..."

"I've been alive, Mario," Lenne murmured, tears rolling down her face. "Just comatose, not dead, but...Mafuyu came and he did something that somehow woke me up here," she told her friend in a near whimper. She had remembered what he had said about not ever being able to wake up from his coma. He had told her it was his fate. "His fate," she echoed, speaking her thoughts out loud and sinking to her knees. "He's never going to be able to come back, no matter what we do? Why?"

Mario let go of Lenne and his eyes widened. "Never...going to wake up?" He backed away a little...confused. What..? Why can't he wake up? What did he do? Did he sacrifice himself to keep Lenne alive? Mario thought in sadness and confusion. "That idiot! He gave his own life for yours!" Mario looked down at the floor for a bit, holding back his anger.

Finally, he decided on something. A very stupid and juvenile thought indeed, but it was what he wanted, from the time he met Lenne. He promised her something...he promised he would save Mafuyu no matter what... "Lenne...I don't care what Mafuyu says. Whether he's trapped for eternity or not...We're going to get him back. I'm doing this for you...because you were my only friend when I told you this...when I made this vow. I swear...on my life, Mafuyu will be safe one day!"

Mario turned around and began to walk to the elevator, ready to leave the hospital and get to the park to meet Kera. "Are you coming, Lenne?"

Lenne looked at Mario for a while and kind of gave a half nod, not really knowing what to say. Mario could probably be making a promise that he couldn't keep. If that was so, then the boy would probably be crushed. Not to mention, she would have gotten her hopes up, but that was a whole different matter. "Mario?" she asked softly after a while. "Why do you insist on making promises like this? You probably won't be able to keep them. And if you do manage to do so, then...You might end up paying a large price for it..."

Mario's eyes closed. He knew his promises were extreme...he knew they were likely very difficult...maybe even impossible. But he loved Lenne. He didn't want her to feel the way she had been anymore. Mario wanted to see Lenne happy, with Mafuyu again. She was always happy at school...she deserved to be happy here too...and any other place on the planet.

"Lenne, I know I might not be able to carry out my promises...but I want to try." Mario decided to change his wording now, "I cannot promise to save Mafuyu...you're right. But I promise to keep trying!" Mario turned around and opened his eyes, looking straight at Lenne's eyes, trying to gauge an emotion of some sort. She was obviously very worried still...more than before. Mafuyu would never come back she said...but that's not how it was supposed to be...Mario was supposed to save him. Lenne was supposed to be happy...this was all so confusing...all so disappointing.

Mario turned around again, facing the elevator. "Lenne...let's go to the park and meet Kera now. We can't stay here..."

Kera was at her house no lucky her mom wasnt home she changed into some black pants and a red tang top and grabbed her labtop and a few other things and took off running to the park lucky she had a back pack for her labtop "they better be there or im going to be mad" Keras pants were easy to run in not like those ones that her mom made her wear "ok the new park right ya so i take a left here" Kera turned a corner trying really hard not to run into any one and ran as fast as she could soon she would be at the front gate of the park

Lenne gave a small smile as she heard Mario change around his promise. "That's much better," she told him softly, closing her eyes. After a minute, she nodded, thinking that meeting Kera would be good. After all, they didn't have much time to talk when she woke up from her coma. "Umm...Is Kera -" she began to say, but was interrupted.

"Lenne!" Kate yelled, seeing her. She hurried over, looking the girl over multiple times. "Thank goodness...Your father would have my head if you had stayed in that coma! Listen...You're not going to say a word about this to him... " she whispered, looking relieved. Suddenly, Kate reeled back, holding her face. "Lenne!" she hissed, removing her hand from her face and revealing a hand print forming on the nurse's skin.

"That's all that you care about, huh?! Is that your sorry butt won't get in trouble from my father!" Lenne hissed back in a rather deadly voice.

Mario turned back to see Kate as she scolded Lenne. *sigh*, My God, won't that woman ever shut up? Nobody cares about what she has to say! Mario thought, almost selfishly to himself. "Let's go Lenne...we have to now! Kera's waiting for us..." Mario grabbed Lenne's wrist and dragged her lightly, making sure she didn't trip or lose balance. He brought her to the elevator and pushed the button. "Forget about what Kate said...she's an idiot. Being your step-mother...she could never fully love you Lenne...so don't listen to her, she knows nothing!"

Mario began to take the fury to his own mind. But it was soon diminished as he felt the warmth of Lenne's wrist on his hand. He felt comfort now...softness and happiness quickly overtook him. He looked at her face and smiled. Thank God...that you're alive Lenne... Mario thought in peace and silence, as the elevator made its stop and the green light flashed, letting out a small ring.

Lenne, before they left on the elevator, took one last look at Kate and decided that now was the right time to do it. She stuck out her tounge at her stepmother, using her free hand to pull her lower left eyelid down. The look on Kate's face when she did this was absolutely priceless.

When they were on the elevator, she sighed some and looked at Mario. "She doesn't love me at all...She only cares about my father's money!" Lenne stated, shaking her head a little. Then she decided that it was probably stupid to be talking about the woman that she despised. "Anyway...Thank you," she whispered to Mario, though she wasn't really sure what she was thanking her friend for at the moment.

Mario agreed noticeably with Lenne, using a nod of his head. "I know about Kate...she not only sounds like a careless person, but she also has the face of a liar and a cheat!" Mario smiled, knowing he was right. He stepped out of the elevator, waiting for Lenne. "And Lenne...you're welcome. For whatever it is you're thanking me, you are welcome." Mario knew she was thanking him in general, he had done that to people as well. It was common for him to notice those kinds of things, so he accepted it properly. Mario let out a soft smile and looked at Lenne, happily.

"Hn...What's wrong with Kera?" Lenne asked quite suddenly. She had forgotten to ask before, but now since they were alone for a short moment, she thought that it might be the time to ask. "She seemed a little bit different when I saw her after I woke up and all," she murmured, looking at Mario. "Does it have something to do with the game again? From before?" she questioned. If anything happened to Kera, she would probably go insane sooner or later.

Mario looked down a little, scared. "Kera...is dying...from the effects of the game. She knows it too. But she won't give up easily. Me and her are planning to save her." Mario smiled with insecurity, "I try too hard to do things that are near impossible...I have to stop. I'll regret it one day..." Mario put a hand on the wall forcefully, hurting himself a little, but shaking off the pain unconsciously. "I just hope something is possible...that I can help her somehow..."

Lenne's eyes widened as she heard this, a hand comming over her mouth as she stared at him in horror. This just couldn't be right...not right at all! "No...No, that's just impossible!" she whispered from behind her hand, eyes filled with tears. "There's no way that she could be dying because of the game, could there?! What would trigger such a thing!?"

She backed up against the side of the elevator and slumpped down, burrying her face in her hands. "And why Kera of all people?!" she hissed, punching the side of the elevator. "Why her?!"

Mario was sad as well, but not nearly as sad or upset as Lenne appeared to be. "Don't cry Lenne..." Mario sat next to her and put an arm around her. "I will help her as best I can...and I'm sure you will too. I know for a fact that I can save her...if anyone..." Mario was again losing himself in his own glory, trying to make it seem as if he was to lead and to be the best. "Aw...who am I kidding...I know I need help here. The only person that could save Kera..is herself."

Mario put one hand on his forehead and slouched over with Lenne. "What the hell can we do? She is dying...Mafuyu is never supposed to come back...everyone hates each other...there is so little hope in my life right now Lenne..." Mario new he always spoke boldly, trying to make things seem as if he was in control...but he wasn't and he knew it. He knew that everyone knew it.

He looked at Lenne's crying face and reached over to her. He put a hand on her opposite shoulder and pulled her close allowing her to cry on Mario's shoulder. "Lenne...I know this is painful...but we can't just sit and mourn all day...the less time we spend crying, the more time we have to save lives." Tears budded in Mario's eyes now, hearing the crying of Lenne. I can't cry now...people need me to be strong...if I'm not strong...how will I do anything?! Mario thought to imself, whiping his watery eyes with his onuccupied hand.

Kera ran through the front gates of the park slowing down now and breathing really hard shes never ran with so much weight one her back for that long period of time "wow i need to run more" Kera walked along the parks path way looking for the Plaza it was kinda deep in the park but she still found it and sat down in side with her labtop infront of her and waited for Mario and lenne "where are they we were suposed to meet here" Kera started to figet a bet and looked every where glaring like she didnt care any more

Lenne found that she really didn't feel like speaking as the elevator came to a stop. The whole thing of Kera slowly dying because of a side effect in the game? It was all too much for her to believe. If Kera had been placed in a coma, that would be understandable. But death? How was it possible for her to be dying because of the game? Now this question was circulating through her brain non-stop.

When she headed outside, she leaned against one of the walls of the hospital, looking rather sick. Finding her voice, she looked to Mario, and handed him the car keys. "You can drive, right?" she murmured, her voice sounding rather shakey.

As Mario followed Lenne outside, he felt a strange discomfort. He was thinking about how to help Kera...how to save her from dying of the infection from the game. He saw Lenne lean against the wall...she looked pale and ill. It was understandable why she looked so bad. As she handed Mario the car keys, Mario nodded, "I can drive...we should go Lenne...I'll get you a quick coffee or something. It would be good for you to have something to wake up up...you seem very dead at the moment." Mario was talking about nothing for about a minute, then stopped and apologized, "I'm sorry Lenne. Maybe it would be best to go meet Kera at the park right now..." He pulled Lenne close to his side and walked her to her car. He opened the door for her and allowed her to get in, as he made his way to the driver seat. Mario started the car and got ready to leave.

"Are you alright Lenne? Are you ready to go?" He began to worry a little...

Lenne gave a small nod, rejecting the coffee. There was no way she could eat or drink anything at the moment. Of all the people, it was Kera that the game infected! Why?! She's too innocent and caring for such a thing to happen! she screamed out in her mind. She leaned back in the car and closed her eyes, tears escaping and rolling down her face.

When I first met her, I was so very jealous the girl...I even thought for a few moments that she was an annoying little newbie, but that wasn't right, she thought, swallowing to keep in further tears. I never should have thought of her in such a way...Without getting to know her...

Mario drove quietly, knowing that Lenne was in tears and was very upset. He didn't want to speak...he was afraid he may further upset Lenne. But he had one thing on his mind that he had to let out. "Lenne...I know you're upset about Kera...I am too..." a tear slowly dripped down his face. "We can't mourn though...it will make nothing better. The only thing we can do to help her is work hard and fight for her life. We have to get back to the Net Slums ruins...we have to do something to reverse the infection." Mario knew he would worsen Lenne's mental situation by speaking, but he had to give his thoughts.

They arrived at the park and Mario stopped by the gates. He got out of the car and helped Lenne out. "I'll hold you..." Mario told her. He took her close to him and walked to where Kera had been waiting. "Try not to cry Lenne...we can save Kera." Mario again thought to certainly...he knew that he wasn't sure of himself, but he didn't know how else to comfort Lenne.

They got to where Kera was sitting waiting for them

Kera didnt even look at them "what took you guys so long" Kera was now looking out in space with a angry cold glare on "what were you guys doing chating with the docters making peace" Kera was angry why she was so angry she didnt know sure they were alittle late but that didnt help her anger just kept rising "you guys expect me to sit here and wait all alone while your doing what ever" Kera said angerly trying not to yell "i hate being alone" Kera wispered angerly at her self and alittle at Mario and Lenne her anger seemed to stay in one spot now not yelling yet but almost there "so this one will ask again what took you so Long?" kera half yelled the last part out but her face was emotionless and her eyes showed anger and sadness for being left alone she still stared off seeming like she was looking throw every thing like it wasnt there at all

Lenne headed over to Kera and placed her hands on the girl's shoulders, trying to calm her down a little. "I'm sorry, Kera...I kind of ran into my step mother, Kate, and had a big argument with her. Also," she began, closing her eyes and letting out a sigh. "Also, Mario told me what's happened...about the side effect that the game gave you. You got an infection that's killing you, right?" she added in a whisper, sounding quite hurt as the words came flowing out of her mouth.

Mario walked closer, stroking his hair in nervousness. He sat with Kera, leaning against a tree. "Kera...I told Lenne that you are dying...she has to know." Mario could sense that the anger coming from Kera was not real. It was due to the side effects of the Net Slums that she was overreacting like this. He looked down and sighed, softly to himself. "Kera...we're sorry that we took so long...we were upset....about the fact that a stupid game could kill you...we don't want you to die." Mario held his tears back again. It was a very emotional day for everyone it seemed. "I'm going to go back to the Net Slums and find some way to save you Kera. Lenne will come too. And I think if you came, we could shut down your infection directly..."

Mario grabbed his laptop and pulled out his headset. He realized that Lenne didn't have a computer with her. Mario knew there was a modulator in his bag that could be used for another player, if they wanted to join on another computer. He also had is old headset, it worked, but it was dusty and unused. "Lenne...do you need to use my computer? I have this modulator and headset if you want to use it..."

[Kera]

kera signed and calmed down a bit "im sorry i shouldnt have over reacted" kera grabbed her bag and pulled out her lab top it was one of the new ones so she was still figuring out whats what on it "the game can do my damage then we expected it seems and to your quistion earlier lenne that virus is killing me and i cant stop it ive tried" Kera put her head set on her face was still emotionless and cold but she still put a smile on her face knowing her friends well be with her "well are we ready cause this one wants to get better, that she does" kera smiled for a second still alittle angry thow "wait are the black sun still looking for us Mario" Kera said emotionlesly as normal she know the black sun were not gone but they havent been bothersum lately and that worried Kera

Lenne looked to Mario and nodded a little bit to him, brushing a few strands of hair from her face. "Yeah, I sort of left the computer you gave me in Mafuyu's room...No doubt Kate took it if she found it, though," she grumbled under her breath, sounding a little mad.

Sighing a little, she ran her fingers through her hair, looking at Kera and frowning more. "We will save you, I promise that," she told the girl, then blinked. A few moments ago, she had been telling Mario not to make promises that he couldn't keep. Now she was making Kera a promise that she probably couldn't keep. Hn...I've become a hypocrit...great!

Mario nodded slightly and handed Lenne the modulator control pad. "Just plug this in to my computer when you're ready to join us..." Mario said as he propped on his head set and typed in his username/password. "Kera...meet me right when you log in...same to you Lenne..." He was gone now...into the game.

Logged into The World

"Alright...I have to find out how to get back to the Net Slums...this damn game never should have been made!" Mario slammed his hand into a wall that he was spawned beside. He walked up to an open field and waited for Fiona and Kera to come.

Kera left her quistion for later and logged in to the game with great hesation she was afraid "i gotta go if i dont ill be afriad and i might die i gotta save myself and stop my friends from worrying" Kera was now fully logged in

The phone began to ring a few minutes after Kayko left.

"Michael,you can get that right?"Saiyuko said."I'm a bit busy over here.

"Yeah,yeah,sure..."Michael picked up the phone.

"Michael,is your brother there?"

"He's a bit busy-"

"It's important,give it to him."

Saiyuko quickly took off the headset and rushed to the phone.

"Yeah?What's up?"

"You heard?There are more coma victims now...although luckily one of them has recovered."

"So there's still hope for the others right?"

"Maybe....hey,I'll see you later at Omega Hidden Law's Fallen Angel alright?"

"Yeah,sure.Bye."Saiyuko hung up and rushed to his room and put the headset back on.

"Yeah...he said to meet at Omega Hidden Law's Fallen Angel."

"We can worry about that later.We still got this AI to take care of."


"I just have to wait for the correct moment..."Lyn whispered."I can't fail again..."

Lenne let out a soft sigh and got everything set up to Mario's computer. She lingered for a few minutes after Kera left, then sighed and logged into The World.

Welcome to The World

Fiona sighed once again as she appeared in the familar game world, looking around out of sheer habbit. It didn't take her very long to find Mario and Kera, and she headed in their direction, still looking quite pale, even though her character wasn't really much so.

Zero gets tired of waiting for his so called friends to show up so he logs out of the area and warps to Mac Anu. Then he walks over to the bridge and just looks out over the river.
"I wonder how come I even bothered joining those guys. Its not like they needed me anyway. If they did then i wouldnt feel so pathetic right now.

Morty shook her head as the others waited for her to do the first move.

"You are fortunate that Tanaya-chan is right. I can't fight you here without risking extreme danger to myself. Pity, because as you humans say: I was spoiling for a good fight. But that will have to wait. It seems that your other friends have taken care of my litle assasin, too. A stroke of luck I am sure. Well then, I will see you later."

Morty took a bow and started vanishing. Tanaya fired an energy blast to the dissapearing AI, even though she knew it wouldn't hit. She spat a few curses at the empty air before she calmed herself down. She then turned to Fate and his friends.

"Looks like she escaped for now, maybe this is the time to help your friends." She hesitated for a moment before adding "If you will allow it, I will join you there."

Mario looked over to Kera as she aproached him in the field. "We'll just wait for Fiona to join us..." He told her as he looked up at the sky, a virtual breeze moving his hair slightly. He was finally comfortable today. This was the first time in the day that emotions hadn't had his mind. He was free to think and be.

Finally, Fiona showed up, still pale-faced and looking quite disturbed. Mario decided not to say anything about it...instead he only said, "Alright, so we're all together now. We must find the Chaos Gate to get to the Net Slums." Turning to Kera, Mario assured her, "We will save you..." He patted her shoulder lightly and smiled, looking at a road ahead...the one that would lead them to the Chaos Gate. He began to walk, "Let's go..." he said as he took his first few steps on the road.

OOC: Hm...For some reason, red storm, your text is appearing really huge on my screen! Yet it doesn't do that on the school computers...Tis strange!

IC: Fiona let out another sigh and ran a hand through her character's red hair, fiddling around nervously with the pigtails. For some reason or another, she was nervous about something, but couldn't place her finger on it. "...Are you sure that going to the Net Slums is a good idea?" she asked, crossing her arms after she got done with fingering her pigtails. "I mean, the place collapsed and all, so we may not be able to get in. Then there's the fact on if we do get in, the area will probably be too dangerous to stay in!"

Mario looked at Fiona and stopped in his tracks. "Eh...you're right, I guess, Fiona..." He turned around and faced her, "What do you suggest we do? Kera was infected when the Net Slums collapsed, and we're trying to disinfect her. I'm just thinking that it would be pretty logical that the cure is where the infection was from..." Mario walked up to Kera and asked her, "What do you think we should do? I'm so confused right now..." He sighed and looked back to Fiona.

Kera looked up her face was emotionless but she was thinking "well if you two are able to hack in to netslums nothing should be able to hurt you and me im already infected so how can it get worse" Kera looked up at the sky and sighed "you two should be fine if you hack with a protection code invalved you two shouldnt get infected i was only infected cause i didnt use a protection code and my level was so low" Keras level for some reason had increased dramtaicly and now was pretty srtonge her self "and also your levels are pretty high so your chacatars can fight the infection and as for the netslums being down it shouldnt be that destroyed but there might just so happend be black sun there looking for what was left" Kera was really trying to think every thing through so her friends wouldnt get hurt trying to save her

"It's no use complaining about it,we know she isn't coming back to this area."Naomi said.

Fate shook his head and sighed."N-nevermind,we have to meet Shinji at that area."Fate turned towards Tanaya."You can come if you want to,I don't really mind.Remember,the area is Omega Hidden Law's Fallen Angel."

Fate and his friends warped out of the area."Omega Hidden Law's Fallen Angel...that will be my next destination."Lyn warped out also.

Shinji was waiting right in front of them."You guys finally arrived."

"Yeah?!So?!"

"You don't remember?"Shinji said.Shinji leaned aginst the tower.

"What?"Fate responded.

"You're pathetic."Shinji said coldly.Shinji walked a few steps."You've forgotten this was sort of our meeting place,you know when Leon was-"

"Don't talk about it."Fate said.

A magic portal appeared out of nowhere and a data bug appeared.Naomi jumped back.

"What the?!Where did that come from?!"

"It shouldn't take too long to take care of it."Ikaru said."The numbers aren't that large."

Groups of data bugs began to spawn everywhere.

Fate unsheathed both of his katanas."Yeah sure!You thought they'd attack with only one did you?!"




Lyn walked towards them."This is revenge for earlier."Lyn said.

"You again!You're such a annoyance you know that?!"Fate yelled.

"I'll delete you,no matter how long it takes."Lyn unsheathed a sword."I'll be waiting."Lyn dissapeared,and reappeared in a different part of the area.

"This is going to take a while..."Fate said with a sigh.

"Look...Fiona...we'll go to the Net Slums and bring Kera with us. I don't care how dangerous it is...or how close to impossible. I know the gate wasn't closed...so we don't have to hack in. It's open but possibly blocked by rubble on the other side. If we can move the rubbel we can get in. And in the Net Slums, we will find any survivors that know of a cure. There have to be people that survived the destruction..." Mario said, knowing his task.

He turned and motioned the two over to him with his hand. "We will go now...I don't want to wait and see what happens to Kera..." He began to walk.

Fiona looked to Mario, then Kera, then at Mario once again. She let out a soft sigh and scratched the back of her head. "Alright, we'll go. But if anything bad starts to happen, we leave as soon as possible, understand?" she asked, crossing her arms. The last thing she wanted was for Kera to possibly get infected futher or for Mario to get infected as well. There was a chance that she already lost Mafuyu for good, so she didn't want to loose any more friends to this game. If she did, it would probably drive her to the point of insanity.

Mario looked back at Fiona after she finished talking. "Alright Lenne...You're right. We will leave as soon as there seems to be any sign of danger..." He turned back around and continued walking. He grabbed Kera's arm and brought her to his side, gently, "Kera...I don't know if I can promise this...but I will try my hardest to save your life...I will die for you if I must..." Mario only knew Kera for about a week...but already, he was so attached to her.

Fiona glared at Mario as he said he would die for Kera, then slapped her friend outside the head. "Idiot!" she hissed, pulling him aside so that she could talk to him without Kera having to hear what she was going to say next. "I don't think that saying you'll die in order to ensure she lives is going to cheer her up any!" the heavyblade scolded, shaking her head. "She's the type who puts her friends before herself! Do you really think that saying that is going to give her comfort?!"

[Kera]

Kera stood there kinda in a doze just waiting for Fiona and Mario to stop talking only hearing a few words but not all of it and for what Mario was telling her she thought about it and talked "i wont let any one else get hurt cause of me i will not allow it." Kera said in anger then calmed down "I will not let any of my friends get hurt ....never" tears were starting to slide down her face "no one will get hurt because of me and i mean no one" Keras anger was starting to get the best of her and she walked to a wall and leaned on it sliding down to the ground to sit and calm down a bit

Mario rubbed his head where he was smacked. "Ow..." When he was pulled aside by Fiona, he didn't laugh or smile, he took her words seriously. "I...I'm sorry Lenne....and I'm sorry to you Kera..." But when he told her he'd die for her...he wasn't joking. Perhaps, however, it wasn't the best time to tell her something like that.

"Damn it!There's too many!"Fate quickly dodged one of the databugs and quickly slashing back with his katanas.

"Well it's your fault for getting us into this!"Shinji yelled.

"My fault?!You brought me to this area in the first place!"Fate responded.

"Shut up,both of you!"Ikaru said fiercly.

Fate was surprised,Ikaru usally was very calm,but he seemed to have lost his temper and it looked as though he was about to go berserk.

"We'll all be dead if you both go on rambling like this!"

Naomi finished off the monster Fate was killing."I agree,we'll all be like Leon if you both don't stop yelling at each other."

Fate shook his head and breathed deeply."Alright,alright."Fate dashed through another of the data bugs,it then exploded into strands of data."She's such a coward,why doesn't she kill us herself?"

"I'd ask the same thing."Shinji said with a sigh.





Lyn's voice was suddenly radiated throughout the area."I'll be waiting for you in the dungeon,that is if you are still consious."



Fate sighed."Now she tells us..."

Fiona let out a soft sigh and she shook her head some, wondering why Mario was apologizing to her. She then headed over towards Kera and kneeled beside her, absentmindedly wrapping her arms around the girl. Somehow, between the time she met Kera and now, she had come to care for Kera as if she was her sister. As if she was a younger sister that Fiona wanted to always protect, no matter what. "Kera...It's going to be fine...Everything is going to be fine, trust me! Nobody is going to be hurt or killed! Nobody..."

[Kera]

Kera sat there leaning into Fiona afriad for her friends afriad they would get hurt. She grown to care for them like family and fiona as a bigger sister and Mario as a brother they were always trying to protect her "if only i could help you guys like the way your helping me. You have no hesistion when you say your going to help me but when i try to help i dont know what to do im so lost and cunfused" Kera was shaking by thins point she was scared beyond believe "we......we better get go.....going" Kera said studdering a bit and forced a smile on her face

Fiona smiled quite a bit at Kera's words about being helpless when it came to helping somebody. "Kera...I used to be that way as well," she whispered to the girl, giving her another hug. "You'll be able to get stronger in time, and you'll be able to help out whenever you want," she stated. Then she thought for a minute and shook her head some. "No, that's not correct," she murmured. "You already help more than you think you do, Kera! Just by being around us, you help out all the time. At least for me," she ended, nodding her head.

Mario turned back again. He faced Kera and Fiona. Smiling with a great joy, he said, "Kera...Lenne's right. By being here with us, you help us more than you would belive. I know that without you...I never would have gained the courage to fight for my friends. You were my responsibility when I let you into the group...and that helped me change...that made me a better person..."

He stopped and walked over to her, gracing her with his own hug. He then added, "We love you Kera...and I know that I will not let you die..."

Kera smiled then jumped up and spun around faceing Mario and Lenne "ok im glad we better get going then" Kera smiled happy that she could help by being there "Im glad you 2 are here also if this one never met you. this one would ahve been a a dead soul" Kera thought for a moment "you guys rist your lives just to save mine and im greatful but if you die because of this one, Then i will never forgive myself" Kera then smiled again and started walking to the warp gates "i guess we better get going then dont you think." Kera smiled and waved for them to speed up and follow

Tanaya turned to Fate and his friends and sighed.

"I think we have to hurry, the longer we wait the more tired we will be by the time we get there. Unfortunatly, my knowledge of this area is fairly limited, otherwise I might have directed us past most of the traps and monsters."

"Alright,you four go ahead,I'll hold them off."Shinji said.

"What?!Holding them off on your own is suicide!Don't you think that you should come with us?!"Fate said.

"Just go!I can handle them!"Shinji yelled.

Ikaru shook his head and began to leave.

"What?!Ikaru!"Fate yelled.

"I'm sure he'll make it back in the end,just trust him for once."Ikaru said.He then took out a speed charm and left quickly.

"T-tch....Alright,just this once..."Fate sheathed his katanas."Tanaya's right,we can't waste our energy fighting these things."

They quickly found them selves surrounded again.

"I'll clear the path."Shinji said."Shinji jumped into the air and thrusted his sword into the ground,the ground seemed to rise and the data bugs were trapped by showering debris."Here's your chance,go!"

Fate began to leave,he turned back towards Shinji for a moment.This kind of strange,Shinji has never been like this,he usually just left us to do all of the fighting.

"Listen...I'm only paying back a favor....I know I have been overdependent on you guys,Naomi,Fate."Shinji said."But now it's my turn to pay back the favor and help you for once,you got that?"Shinji closed his eyes and smirked."Go,while you still have time."

Fate smirked."Alright then,if that's what you want to do.I can't stop you now."

Mario put a hand around Fiona's shoulder and walked with her, following Kera. "Let's keep up with her...it seems we've made her kind of happy..." Mario began to smile as he followed behind Kera. I really hope we can win the battle for Kera's life...I don't know what I would do if she died...I promised to protect her...and I must keep that promise if I keep anything at all...

Mario looked at Fiona and said, "Lenne...is it alright that I call you Lenne in the game now?" He smiled, almost beginning to let out some laughter. He was very nervous, not about the question, but about Kera. Laughter usually hid his feelings in his mind for a while.

They were almost at the place where Kera could be healed.
