Zero quickly runs over to the chaos gate to warp to Mac Anu.Then said to himself "maybe if im lucky ill get to meet Aura".

He walks a few feet behind the group and just listens to them talk as they get ready to head out to meet Fiona's contact.

Black Sun: Kashyyyk hideout

Aran looked up at Suzaku. "Ah, yes, your first mission will be a simple reconesaince mission in the Net Slums, a hacker server. There has been a disturbing report of the appearance of an agent that has disapeared for a long time. You will rendevous with another agent there, and find out if this is true, and if the agent still is part of Black Sun. Any questions?"

Kashyyyk hideout: corridor

Dian looked surprised, "what? Of course new members have joined Black Sun. You can't expect us to do with what we have her, can't ya? The boy, I don't know. He's some new kid Aran brought in recently, sharp lad, really. The girl, on the other hand is one of the personal aids of Emma, as far as I know. Her name is Amelia.
She put an arm around Fate's. "What say we get something to drink at the cantina?"

[Chibi-chan]

Fiona waited until the three of them came to where she was and smiled. "Alright, follow me, and maybe I can find where the hell he has his hide-out," she muttered. "I haven't been there in so long, after all," she murmured, scratching the back of her head. "Alright, here's what I want you to do...Look around for moderator's offices...Pay close attention to them, because his is a fake and all. Looking closely enough, you might see glitches...Keep an eye out, alright?"

[Tyr]

"Sounds easy enough. I'm familiar with the Net Slums, so it shouldn't be a problem. A few more details I need to know though. How will I know who the agent I am rendevousing with is? I assume that they won't be wearing Black Sun clothing as it could scare off the target."

Suzaku was surprised at the way he was talking. Refering to someone as a "target" came naturally to him, and he was slightly taken aback by it. Shaking it off, he continued.

"Also, do I take any action if it turns out he is no longer an agent, or is this mission strictly recon?"

Mario looked at the town of Mac Anu as they entered it. "Moderators' offices eh?" Mario said as he noticed quite a few of them around. "Thisshould be easier than I thought...there are so many, one of them must be a fake." He walked in and said to Fiona, "Fiona...if we split up we can find it easier. We can each take one quarter of the town. Once one of us finds the fake, we'll send a signal of some sort...perhaps magic from the inscriptions on our swords." He spoke as if he knew it were all possible and so easy to do, but this was a big town and there were a large number of moderators' offices.

[Kera]

OOC: hey ill be gone for 3 days ok but i see im not needed so i well leave besides im to weak and it seems im being ignored bye fornow

"Mario i got to go bye talk to you later i guess" Kera said with a cold stare and logged off right after that

After that mission,I became well-known by hackers everywhere.
Although,that is something I didn't want.......
I was promoted to a high rank in the Black Sun.
I still felt regretful about sending my friend into a coma.
Although,I wasn't trough with the Black Sun yet.


"Commander Fate,report to the conference room."

The door slowly slided open and Fate entered.

"Yes,Captain?

"I've got a mission for you,and your men."

"Yes,sir,what is it?"

"I've heard we've had someone that has betrayed us...capture the traitor or eliminate him."


"Y-yes sir....."Fate said unenthusiasicly.

Fate slowly left the conference room.

This mission is a suicide."Fate took out a small list of all of the members.Jackal huh?The guy's famous.....He's known as the lonewolf,for being able to slay 4000 monsters alone.If I do this....who knows what might happen.

"Alright men,we are to search all of the servers for a traitor named Jackal.I'll take the Net Slums,Alpha team takes Delta server,Beta team takes Theta server,Gamma team takes Lambada server,Delta team takes Sigma server,and finally Epsilon team takes Omega server."


All of the soldiers in Fate's unit salutes."Yes sir!"They all responded.


Fate used his hacking abilities to make his way to net slums

Net Slums,city of hackers

"Alright....he shouldn't be to hard to find.....I was always famillar of how hidden he is,I usually know where he is hidden....."

Fate walked slowly through the town."He should be here......"

Fate has arrived which has seemed to be the less visited area of the Net Slums.

"I know you're there Jackal!"

Jackal appeared out of nowhere."You......do you want to get to leave or get sent to a eternal sleep(Is referring to being sent into a coma.)"

"You were always a rank higher than me,but your achivements doesn't mean your skilled."Fate took out a small scroll."Torrent of the moon!"

Jackal resisted the spell and burst towards Fate and begins to slash him with his twin blades."You think that trick is going to work on me again?!"

Fate smirked."Cheating son of a......hacking in a battle like this."

"That's right."

"Got you."

Jackal got somehow gets caught in a sphere."What the?!"

"Game over Jackal.Fate took out a detonator and the sphere exploded into strains of data."Farewell......"

That very event followed me......
Apparently the mission was supposed to be a suicide for me to get deleted.
The captain of the 02nd unit(which I was assigned to at the time.)
Spread my reputation of me sending Jackal into a coma to all known hackers,in a negative way and for some reason,keeping it a secret from the other units.
I became known as the "Fallen Angel" to other hackers.
I was reassigned to the third unit,which is when I met Dian.
I remained with the Black Sun a few more months then I quit playing "The World"

Present,Kashyyyak base
"Ugh......I've got to stop remembering my past....."Fate whispered.He then suddenly remembers that Dian said something to him."Y-y-yeah,sure."Fate said his voice staggering.What should I do?Should I continue to stay here to gather more information but still,soon enough they may find out I've gone traitor,or Should I return to the Black sun?Ugh....when it comes to decision making,I suck.

Zero looked at Fiona and Mario.
"Whats up with her? Did we do something to make her mad at us?"

He looks past them at the large side of town.
"Well I guess we should get started then shouldnt we. I'll take the south side of town and ill just message yall if i find anything."

Dashes off and over the bridge running past the other players at a pretty fast speed.

Fiona blinked a little bit as Kera just disappeard, seeming a bit upset for some reason or another. She gave a helpless shrug and looked to Mario. "Well, what area are you going to explore? I'll just take whatever is left," she said to him.

Black Sun: Kashyyyk hideout

Aran looked up at Suzaku, a smile on his face.

"That all depends on how the target reacts, if he is still part of the Black Sun, you are to tell him to report to me and leave him alone. If he is no longer a member of Black Sun, he must still report to me. If he refuses, or acts agresively you are authorized to defend yourself with all neccesary force. Dismised."

[Tyr]

(Suzaku=Yellow, Amelia=White, Emma=Purple)

"Understood." Although Aran hadn't told him anything about the Black Sun member he was supposed to rendevous with, Suzaku decided he had better follow orders as best he could for now. He didn't want to make an enemy of an obviously influential agent of the Black Sun on his first mission, after all.

Not knowing whether he was supposed to salute or something, Suzaku awkwardly walked out of the office. Realising he didn't quite know how to leave the outpost, he simply tried logging out. It seemed as though the safety features were only meant to keep intruders out, and it was relatively easy to leave the area.

A few minutes later, after a brief hacking session, Suzaku warped into the Net Slums. It was the same as it used to be, full of shady-looking characters and players with strange appearances. Deciding that the agent he would be meeting up with would probably have more mission information, Suzaku leant against the wall of a nearby building, and waited for the other agent to show up.

Kashyyyk Hideout

"Hi-yaah!" Emma kicked through the air and sent her opponent flying out of the training ring. "Ha! I barely worked up a sweat! Who's next?" All around the training room, the cheering agents fell silent. Nobody had ever beaten Emma before, although many had attempted. She sighed in disappointment as she noticed the lack of opponents. "Spoilsports..."

Amelia entered the training room. She knew Emma would be there, she always stuck to her training regimen. Breaking the silence inside the room, she suddenly noticed the eyes of every agent in the room watching her. Overcome with embaressment, she walked back out of the training room.

Realising that Amelia had just been stared out of the room, Emma prepared to follow her to see if she was okay, but was interrupted as one of the larger, more musclebound agents who suddenly burst out laughing. Emma glared at him, and he fell silent.

"You. Come here."

The agent looked around sheepishly, with no intention of going into that ring.

"Now!" Emma's loud scream filled the otherwise silent room, and the terrified looking agent decided he should do as she said. He trudged into the ring.

"Why did you laugh just then?" Each word she spoke filled the agent with fear. He knew that she could delete him just as easily as look at him.

He said quietly. "No reason, ma'am."

"Good. Now, you have just volunteered to be my next training buddy. Good luck." Before he could have a chance to object, Emma sprinted towards him, jumping into a diving kick. The kick hit on target, and sent the agent sprawling backwards. He was unconscious as soon as he hit the floor. Emma returned to her feet. Without checking to see if the agent was still breathing, she left the training area in search of Amelia.

Mairo watched in confusion as Kera disappeared...That was weird...Mario looked at Fiona and smiled, "I guess I'll take the west side...and give me the norht side as well...I'll take more, so you can relax more Fiona." He smiled and patted her on the back gently. "Let's go then...and theat's a good idea Zero. I'll message you guys if I find anything." He walked in and began his search.

OOC:I'm going to be gone for three days,so I won't be able to post for a while.

"What?A e-mail?"Fate said."Sorry,Dian,but I have to get going."Fate logged out.

"Huh?What is this?"Saiyuko said.

Hey,what's taking you so long?Didn't you say you were going to see your sister in Tokugawa?I'm willing to take you if you hurry up,meet me at my house.

"Crap,I almost forgot about that."Saiyuko muttered.Saiyuko gathered his things and left.

Zero examines every building carefully ,looking for anything that might help them find what theyre looking for and at the same time listening to what some of the other players are saying to see if they say anything interesting.
"How in the heck am I supposed to find one freakin office. And I seriously dont think that its just going to be in the middle of all the other ones."

Fiona smiled softly at Mario's offer to take two areas. "Thank you," she said in a very low voice as she and her grunty hurried off to the eastern part of the root town.

Fate sighed."Like usual the place is filled with newbies..."Fate sees a girl who seems to be lost near the chaos gate.Bah,I'll just help her out for the heck of it,I have nothing to do anyways.Fate thought.Fate walked towards the girl."Hey,are you lost?You probaly look like you're new the game so maybe I can help you out."Fate said.

Zero starts giving up hope of finding anything that could help them as hes walking around by himself.
"I wonder why there arent that many players on this side of the town? Thats kinda strange."

He keeps looking regards because he is to curious about all the recent events to give up.

Fiona let out a sigh as she wandered aimlessly around, then began to forget what the hell she was doing in the first place. "Concentrate, Lenne," she muttered. "You're supposed to be looking for that lazy bum," she reminded herself.

Her mind had been wandering to what was up with Kera and why she had just left all of a sudden. She was also wondering how Suzaku and Black Wolf were doing in their mission with the Black Sun members. Also, Mafuyu was on her mind as well.

Kera logged back into the world searching for every one. Kera ran all over town looking for them then disided to lean on a wall and take a short brake "maybe if i wait one of them might pass as long as i dont run into some unwelcomed blacksun" Kera closed her eyes and took a short brake waiting

Zero started getting impatient and began walking a little faster.
"I know, Ill use a speed charm. That will make things go a little faster."

He pulls the speed charm out and dashes around really fast and turns around the corner sharply.Then he accidentally runs into Kera since he wasnt paying to where he was going.

-sighs- "Ok..I can figure this out!" *Someone comes up to the Chaos gate and holds up their hand* "Stalking Betrayed Nothingness." *They say in a calm voice.* -her eyes widen- *The charcter disappears* "Whoa..."-blinks looking over where they were standing-"I gotta try that..."-holds up her hand and swallows hard-"I hope this works..."

"Okay,here is just some info,there are Five servers,Delta,Theta,Lambda,Sigma and Omega."Fate said."Delta server should be the server you should remain in for now,you're just a newbie so it's going to give you a hard time if you go to the others."Fate continued."It's going to be tough on your own,so you're going to have to make some friends,Once you become friends with someone,you can ask for their member address and you'll be able to call them to join your party."

"Word of advise Zero watch out where your going" she looked at the new person "why hello" when she saw the black sun simble Kera jumped up and went behind the new person and had a dagger at his neck "who are you and are you here to kill us if you are not i well let you go and we well talk ok" Kera said in a cold voice then looked at Zero" do not interfere ok i need to talk with this guy"

Mario found something strange. It wasn't like the other mod buildings at all...but it was a mod building. It was in the north side of the town. "This is an odd looking building...I have never seen this before in my life..." He walked closer, to get a better picture of it in his mind. This isn't normal...I should tell the others... Mario ran to find Fiona and Zero. He remembered the street it was on; Differ street...sounded like a giveaway.

He kept running to the east side, to find Fiona. He looked carefully for her and spotted her wandering aimlessly about. He ran up to to her and said, "Fiona, I have some great news...I may have found the mod building that we're looking for. Come with me and we'll go check it out. And...I think we should go get Zero too." He smiled in pride as he felt that he had found something important to the group.

[Chibi-chan]

Fiona jerked slightly when Mario called her out, saying that he had found the building, and blinked some, looking as though she was rather confused about what he had said. After her mind settled down a bit, she ran his words through her mind and smiled, looking glad at this news. "You found it?! That's great, Mario!" she said. "How about we go and get Zero, then?"

Net Slums
Tapping his foot impatiently, Suzaku was starting to get angry. It had been more than a few minutes wasted waiting for this guy he was supposed to be rendevousing with, and a few minutes could easily jeopardise the mission.

If this mission turns out to be a failure, my first mission, I'll be seen as a failure as well... I could even get kicked out of the Black Sun... and then where will I go...?

He glanced around at the shells of what looked like players dotted around the slums, and imagined himself as one of them. He shuddered. If there was no place for him, he would end up like them.

Deciding he couldn't let that happen, he stood up straight.

Forget this. Disobeying mission orders may not be the best way to start out, but I have no choice.

He broke into a sprint and began to search through the Net Slums.

"P-please....let me-"Fate began to say shyly.No,what the heck am I acting shy for?!Fate teleported out of the girl's grip."T-tch,what's up with you?"Fate said in his usual tone.He remembered about him dropping the Black Sun Emblem."Alright,I'll explain.My name is Saiyuko Ryuzuki,charecter name Fate.I'm known as the "Fallen Angel" by hackers,A former member of the Black Sun Ex-Commander Fate."Fate stopped."Bah,screw the formality,I'm a traitor of the Black Sun,they don't know I've gone traitor yet but-"

"See?They don't know I've quit yet."Fate whispered to them."Yeah?What is it?"Fate said.

"I overheard Aran's conversation with our new member,Suzaku,he was assigned to meet up with you at the Net Slums."

"Alright then,dismissed."

"Yes,sir."The soldier left.

Fate turned towards the girl."Even though they don't know that I've quit yet,I'm using that as my advantage to gather information,anyways,till next time."Fate began to leave but stopped and turned back towards the girl."Do you have anything to say before I leave?As long as you don't use up alot of my time it'll be alright."

"i just need info but if you dont have to tell me then tell me later heres my address message me when ever" Kera gave her name and email to Fate with little hestatine "im sorry for the rude welcome ive been chased to many times by black sun" Kera bows in resepct and apoligy

Zero stands there kind of speechless on what had just happened. Then after a few minutes he turns around and keeps walking around .
"Oh well. I guess ill get back to work now since she has everything under control here."

He walks a few blocks down the straight road and starts looking for fiona and mario.
" I wonder if the others found anything yet?"

Mario smiled at Fiona and turned back to go to the south of the town. He walked there, moderate speed, to conserve his energy. There was nothing to run about, so he didn't. When he arrived, he saw a faint glimpse of Zero ans Kera in the background. Mario approached them and tapped Zero on the back while he was turned the other way. "I found it in North Mac Anu." He smiled, then looked at Kera, "Whay did you just disappear from us when we were entering Mac Anu earlier? Was something bothering you?" Mario stood in confusion, but at the same time, pride that he had found the building.

[Kera]

"i really dont know why i left i guess i was frustrated or some thing im sorry for worrying you" Kera bowed in aponigize then looked at every one "so where we going now" Kera smiled but sensed some thing was wrong but she pushed it aside with little efert

[Chibi-chan]

"You don't need to give us an apology, Kera," Fiona said to the girl, smiling. "As long as everthing is alright with you, that's all that really matters, right? Anyways, we're going to head to the northern area of Mac Anu. Mario found the building that we were looking for, so let's get going," she said, not saying it as an order, but more like suggesting it.

The Net Slums

As Suzaku ran trhough the Net Slums, looking for his rendevous, a shadow snatched him into an alley and pinned a dagger to his chest.

"An agent of the Black Sun should know better then to dash around in public. The less atention you draw upon yourself, the better."

The shadow stepped back to reveal a man wearing what looked like an old version of the mandalorian armour (mandalorians were powerfull fighters) which was obviously never available in the world. That meant that this was a hacker, but he knew of Suzaku, so he had to have contact with the Black Sun. But the way he was dressed, in an outfit that was highly illegal, he looked more like an attention magnet then an undercover agent.

"Well? Don't just stand there kid, we have a mission to do. I'm your Black Sun contact, call me Candarous."

[Saiyuko]

Delta Server Aqua Capital Mac Anu
I'll ignore it,I shouldn't get too deeply involved with the Black Sun.Fate thought.Fate saw the twinblade from a while earlier."Oh,it's you."Fate said.Fate walked towards him."I'm sorry for earlier."Fate then regonized that he was with Kera along with some other people that he didn't regonize.Oh,great Saiyuko!You just rush in without thinking and here are two people which you have no idea who they are!Fate thought.

Zero looks at Fate.
"Hey there. Where did you rush off to anyway? I was looking to see where you went but you were gone completely.Did you log off or somethng?"

He looks back and forth strangely between Kera , Mario, and Fiona. Then back at Fate.
"So um.............."

Whispers to Fiona.
"Are we gonna take off right now? Cause Fate might want to know where were going."

[Kera]

"hey Zero Fates a good person besides he might be able to help us" Kera said alittle frustrated by whats all happening "Fate this Mario and Fiona and of curse thats Zero" pointing to Zero luaghing "a brief meeting it was" kera turned to Mario "so where is this place ya ya i know its at the edge of this huge place but where"

Mario looked at Kera and smiled, "The building is just in the north part of Mac Anu. It's near the southwestern quadrant though...so it's almost in central Mac Anu. Just follow me and I'll take you." Mario began to walk, slowly to the building's location. He walked slowly to let the others catch up.

[Chibi-chan]

Fiona glanced over at Fate, looking a little curious about him and who he was. She wasn't sure if she could trust him or not, but she ended up giving the player the benifit of the doubt, like she always seemed to do. "Sure, why not? It's nice to meet you," she added to Fate.

[Tyr]

(Net Slums)
"Jeez, I'm sick of people calling me kid today..." Suzaku said sarcastically as he brushed off the dust that had gathered on his clothes from the alley. He glanced away from his armour and looked at the agent angrily. "As for dashing through the Net Slums, you hardly left me any choice. By now the target has probably already left, and it's your fault!"

Suzaku thought about starting a fight with Candarous, but decided there was no point. He breathed out slowly and calmed down.

"I guess there's nothing I can do about it now. I'm gonna be stuck with you either way." He walked past Candarous and stood at the opening into the street. With his back turned to his new ally, he stared straight ahead.

"So... any sighting or information on our target?"

[Saiyuko]

Delta Server Aqua Capital Mac Anu
"Good to meet you Fiona."Fate said."I might as well introduce my self.....again."Fate reintroduced hiself without hesitation."If you need info on the Black Sun,I might be able to help you out,but for now,explain the current situation as of now."

Zero starts following Mario so that way he isnt in the back of the group.
"Well we might as well get to work, and who are we supposed to be meeting in the south central part of town anyway?"

The Net Slums

Candarous sighed, and raised himself to full height, his face forming back to his usual 'don't mess with me' mask. Candarous was a tall man, with quite some muscle. The ideal heavyblade, some might say. Tall, and lots of muscle to swing around a heavy sword. Candarous, however, was not a heavyblade. He was a Black Sun agent acting as a hacker.

But now, he decided to teach the rookie some lessons about 'rank'.

"Listen kid, you're a rookie, a young rookie. That makes you a kid for two reasons. As for it being my fault, you were the one taking of when I was about to contact you. Or do you really think I can come out intop the open saying 'hi, I'm a Black Sun agent, let's go'. Now, if you had picked a more quiet spot to stand, it would have been easier.

Candarous sighed. This was a rookie allright.

"But back to busines, yes I do have some leads to the target. This way."

Candarous led Suzaku trough the net slums, and into a cantina. The cantina was noisy, filthy, and filled with scum. Tables were set up to provade some degree of privacy, although it was more for people that do not wish to be overheard the the genral sense of privacy. They sat down at one of the tables, and Candarous spoke.

"Our target is the recently reapeared Fate. We do not know were he was, nor why he left. But he's back, and we're to find him. The problem is, right now he's with some people that are old mates of you, so we have to make this an undercover mission. People may not find out you are part of Black Sun. That is the entire purpose of the agency, we work in secret. Fate is at the Delta root-town at the moment, so we'll leave for that shortly. Any questions?"

[Tyr]

(Net Slums)
While being led to the cantina, Suzaku thought about the situation disappointedly. Candarous was right after all, he shouldn't have waited right next to the Chaos Gate. It wasn't exactly the best way to start off working for the Black Sun. Even so, he couldn't help but feel angry. Before he'd joined the Black Sun, he had respect. He was one of the most powerful fighters on the side of CC Corp, but now... The others on his new side were much more skilled than the CC Corp's, and he felt jealous of the powers that the others held. He was sure that he was just as powerful as them, but if they kept treating him like a rookie, he'd never get a chance to prove it. Realising that he was sounding more and more like a rookie, Suzaku decided to keep quiet and followed Candarous.

Arriving at the cantina and listening to Candarous, Suzaku felt slightly uneased at how he would have to lie to his friends. Although his loyalties now belonged to the Black Sun, he was beginning to feel more and more like a traitor.

"Maybe..." Suzaku murmured after thinking about the problem, "Maybe they would join the Black Sun if I told them what Aran explained to me. They're not dumb, I'm sure they'd understand." Suzaku stopped his wishful thinking for a moment, and realised he was being stupid. Most of his friends, Tanaya, Fiona, Black Wolf; they had all had their lives damaged by the Black Sun. They wouldn't be so quick to forgive them, even if he tried explaining. Looking up at Candarous's watching face, Suzaku felt stupid for even suggesting it. "Nevermind. Are we ready to go?"

[Chibi-chan]

Fiona nodded, deciding that it would be best if she explained the current situation to Fate. "Right now, we are in seach of two people. Either one of them is fine, just as long as we can find them. The ones we are looking...One of them is a Wandering AI named Aura. The other is the wavemaster, Tsukasa. I don't know if you've heard if either of them, but that's who we are searching for. I think that I have a contact who may be able to help us. He's a friend of mine, as well as a hacker. Though I doubt his hacking skills are going to help us find who we need. The reason we're going to him is because he can contact an even better hacker," she explained, hoping that she summed it up well enough.

"wow so thats whats going on" Kera looked at Fiona then at Fate "do you think you can help Fate we would like the help but its not my call if you help or not now is it" Kera smiled then frowned "i dont know if im going to be much help i dont even knoe my level" Kera walked to the nearest wall and rested with one of her feet on the wall watching making sure no one was coming

Zero turned around and looked at Kera and Fate.
"Dont worry to much about it though. Cause im still new to the group to and im barely able to keep up with whats going on but i just take it one step at a time."

"Oh I just remembered something that i have to do before we get started. Can yall just wait for me? Ill message yall when im done. It shouldnt take more then 5 minutes."

Fate turned towards Kera."I dunno....they could be wondering why I left the Black Sun,but to tell the truth,it's the other way around,they betrayed me."Fate took out his pendent and stared at it."I was just a basic soldier in the Black Sun, on my first mission."Fate looked up. "I was to destroy one of the servers, however, at the same time, I didn't want to."Fate took a few steps forward."However, I had no choice,I was forced into the Black Sun,otherwise I would be sent into a coma."Fate sighed."Although, one of my friends tried to stop me, in the process, I wound up sending him into a coma."Fate clenched his fist tightly."I had no choice,I felt regretful since that day."Fate paused,then continued."Not many returned from the mission,the place was swarming with moderators when the mission began,mostly everyone got either their accounts deleted,or ran away and never showed them selves again to the Black Sun,because they knew that they would be hunted,I knew the same thing would happen to me soon enough.Strands of data gather around his hands and the two katanas he once used appeared in them."My two swords,Ryuujin and Musaka,are stained with the blood of my friend."The swords dissapeared from his hands."I was one of the few that returned,I was promoted to a commander all of a sudden."Fate paused again,then continued."Months later,me and my unit was given a mission,we were to eliminate the "Lonewolf" otherwise,player name Jackal,another traitor of the Black Sun like me.The only reason he quit........is because what the Black Sun was doing was wrong.I never realized that in the first place.Jackal also was sent into a coma by my hands.However,the mission was just a mere trap to get me kicked out of the Black Sun.Apparently,the leader of the 2nd unit which I was assigned to envied my skills.He spread about Jackal being gone for good,in a negative way to all known hackers,excluding the other Black Sun units because they knew I was innocent.He made up things that I sent people into comas for the fun of it,I was one of the people causing the problems in the real world, and many other things.I was from then on,known as the "Fallen Angel" to hackers,even to today they still fear me,maybe other hackers might not know about me yet,but it will spread."Fate turned towards the others."I guess I can help out, the Black Sun could be looking for me....so our safety is not assured."

Kera looked toward Fate "you souldnt think about that stuff its not good for you to much worry if you ask me but i have no idea how it feels to put your own friends in a coma" Kera spotted some black sun members she walked up to every one "we need to get out of here now i just saw some black sun coming are way they look like there looking for some thing or..... some one" Kera turned to Fate "we need to leave now from what fate said they might have figered out whats going on" Kera grabbed Fates arm and dragged him in an alley way "come on we need to hide unless you guys are going to provide a deversion" Kera was scared but trying to be brave was hard and she was trying not to show her fear "here they come get ready" Kera disapeared into the shadows "Fate hide" she wispered

Mario turned around and noticed nobody was following him anymore. They all seemed to trust the newcomer from the Black Sun. Mario decided, if Fiona's going to trust him...then he should too. Mario walked over to the man called Fate and said, "My name is Mario...I'm just going to let you know...I don't trust you very much. So...you make one wrong move and I'll kill you...it's for the protection of this group. So don't screw up or you're dead...and you can see how it feels to die by a friend's hands." Mario had overheard the story. Damnit...that was so rude....why do I do that? Mario looked up and gave a small apology, "Fate, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that. You have enough to worry about already. But I will still kill you if you try to hurt us."

Mario asked Fiona, "Where did Zero go? Wasn't he right behind me?" He shrugged his shoulders, convincing himself that it didn't matter. "Well...let's go! We shoudn't keep Tsukasa waiting much longer..." Mario turned to look at Kera. He smiled as he saw her trust in the newcomer. I just hope this kid doesn't turn on us any time...

Fiona glared at Mario when he said this to Fate, crossing her arms and shaking her head in slight disappointment. "How can you say such horrible things to him like that?!" she asked. She was going to defend anybody who had suffered through their friends being put into a comma, even if they were the ones responsible. "You're right that it was really uncalled for! You should be ashamed for saying something like that!"

"Let's not focus on fighting the Black Sun right now...Our mission is to find either Tsukasa or Aura as soon as possible!" Fiona told them, glancing at the Black Sun members. She wanted to hurt them or something, but she knew that they should leave that to Black Wolf and Suzaku. "Let's just go," she said, then hurried off in the direction of where Mario had spotted the building.

Zero trips and falls on his way back to the group, landing at Mario's and Fiona's feet.
"Owwwwww."
He looks up at them and smiles a little.Then he gets up to his feet and dusts himself off.
"Well im back and look at what i got for the entire group."
He holds out a giant bag of healing items.
" I figured that since these Black Sun guys were so strong, that maybe we could use some magical assistence. Unless anyone knows some healing spells or can double as a wave master. Cause if any of yall can then i have a present for you."

"That's a cloacking device. It's an old model, but it still works. it'l change your looks and distort your voice. This way, even if we happen to run into some of your old friends, they won't recognise you, at least not right away. Avoid getting too close, though, the cloack is easyer to see trough if you get closer. We can go whenever you're ready."

He waited for the group to catch up.

Stalking Betreyed Nothingness. -she said nervously. Then she closed her eyes and disappeared. She reappeared in an area. It was quiet and dark. She looked around.- This place is...scary...-she said quietly.- Huh..? WHat's that?-she looked off into the distance, at a yellow ring floating in the feild.- I'm going to go check that out! Maybe it is someone who could help! -she ran off aimlessly into the feild towards the yellow ring.- *As she approached the ring faded and out came a level 72 monster.* Ah! Oh no! -she stepped back looking at the monster.- This thing is too big to fight alone!! -sh turned aroun and ran out into the feild.- *The monster chased after her. It slashed it's claws at her, barely missing.* Waaah! -She tripped and fell to the ground on her stomach. She quickly rolled over.- I'm going to have to try and fight it!! -she said with confedence. She stood up and pulled out her twinblades.- Here it goes..-she said as she lunged at the giant lizard like monster.- HAAAA!!! -she sliced her blades at the monster. She hit it right between the eyes making a slight scratch.- Yeah I got him! *The scratch slowly faded away leaving the monster unhurt.* What the..? How could this be?! -she landed on her feet on the ground in front of the monster.- This won't end well! -she got a nervous look coming to her face.- I know! I will just log out!! -She tries to log out.- WHat!? I can't log out during a battle!?! Shoot! -she glanced up at the monster.- I can't die! "....thank you, I guess." Suzaku took the device, slightly unsure, and held it up to get a better look at it. Another of the Black Sun's inventions. However, if this was old technology, it was still a lot more advanced than most of the hacking technology he had used previously. The level of the Black Sun's advancement from a technological perspective, as well as the ability to exploit the flaws in The World, far surpassed his own. He unequipped his current accessory, his pendant, placing it with his stock of items, equipped the belt, and watched as it appeared in the space between his leg and stomach armour. It looked the same as the generic belt accessory, only with a small set of buttons added onto it. Deciding he could get to grips with the accessory when he needed to, he turned back to Candarous.

"You can take point, since you seem to know more about the target, and I'll follow. It should be easy enough to keep up with a larger character like you." He grinned at the end of his comment, almost hoping that Candarous would see it as a challenge. It didn't matter what in, but Suzaku was in desperate need of being able to prove his superiority or at least to be of equal skill as a Black Sun agent.

"I've held them off for now,but they will call for reinforcements if we stay here too long,besides this should hold stop chasing us in this server."Fate summoned a monster,that seemed to look different than others.It looked as though as it was a incomplete version of a monster,chunks of data could be seen all over it's body,monsters created by hackers that are undefeatable,data bugs."Listen good,take out only the Black Sun members,do not take out any players,got that?"The monster seemed to have obeyed and it stomped towards the Black Sun members."Listen,the Black Sun's weapons have been altered to send people into comas,same thing if you are defeated by a data bug,if we just run away the Black Sun will just continue to go after us,if we run they'll follow our tracks,once hackers find their target,they are determined to take them down.Although,we shouldn't worry about that now,the data bug I summoned should be taking care of them."Fate then ran to get caught up with Mario

Fiona froze when she saw the data bug, recieving horrible flashbacks of the incident that put Mafuyu into a coma. Her hand tightened on her sword as she was prepared to draw it. It was clear that she had pure hatered towards these type of monsters. And who wouldn't feel hate towards them after one of them placed their best friend into a coma? "What the hell are you doing, ordering that thing around so causally?!" she hissed, glaring at Fate. "That thing should be destroyed!"

Zero dropped the bag of items to the ground and quickly pulled out his swords.
"What in the hell is that thing doing here? I know all about those and there is no way that you should be able to control them that easily."

He stares at Fate and then looks back up at the data bug.
"Are you out of your mind? And i agree with you completely Fiona."

"wait up" Kera yelled "dont leave me guys ahhhhhhhhh data bug" Kera screams and ran all the way to fate, Mario and the others and hid behing Fate "sorry i dont like those kind of monsters opps sorry to close" Kera backed off and trips over Zero "how the heck, Fiona i think your right but i also agree with Fate there are to many black sun we need to get out of here" still on the ground

I can't be a baby in this!! Hmm! -she quickly equiped herself with a rare item. The Spiral Edge.- Ok...this thing isn't strong but I can use it to destract the monster, and then make my escape!! -she jumped into the air and at the monster.- KYAAAA!!! -she swung the blades at the monster.- *The monster brought it's claw up smacking Sakura right out of the air.*

Then she disappeared into the yellow circles. She reappeared in Dun Loreige city.- Ok..let's see...-she looked around.- Hmm...-She noticed a man standing inside what looked like a small barn yard. She walked up to the barnyard-place..o_O...and saw a small pig-cow like creature.- Hmmm? What the heck is that!?! -she jumped backwards.- Man:Oh that? That is what we call a "Grunty",milady. Sakura:A...grunty? Man:Ya. There pretty common nowadays. The players are allowed to take care of them, and in return, when the grunties grow up to theri adult forms, they serve you in the feilds. Like finding dungeons, or grunty food. Sakura: Grunty..Food? Man:Well they need food in order to live, milady. And you can find food in feilds. But eggs you haveta find in dungeons. Sakura:Oh..ok I see...Well, when are we allowed to take care of one? Man:Anytime you like, milady. Sakura:Cool! I wanna have one now! Man:Well you're gonna need some grunty food first. Fiona shook her head, then got out her old grunty flute. She didn't know if her old grunty was even existing any longer, but she gave it a shot, blowing into it and playing the familiar melody. She knew that grunties couldn't be summoned in towns...At least not with an ordinary flute. The grunty, which was a rocker grunty, came at her side. He looked at Fate and immediately knew what Fiona wanted him to do. Fiona helped Fate onto the back of the grunty.

Mario turned around, interrupted again, as he trekked forward to the building. As he turned, he saw a data bug standing at Fate's side. Damn this kid...I knew it! Mario had a gut feeling that Fate would turn on them. He drew his sword and pointed it at Fate's throat. "Why would you release such a threat?" Just then, Fate seemed to order the data bug off to kill the Black Sun. Oops... Mario's face turned a little red with embarrassment. "Umm...sorry Fate...I wrongly accused you. You're just helping us..."

Mario spun around on one foot and walked ahead again, ashamed. He sheathed his sword and put his hands on the back of his head. He looked back, casually, trying to be cool, and saw that Fate had caught up beside him. He swung his head back over to look forward, not wanting to notice anything. Boy, was he embarrassed...

Zero looked at Kera and Fiona with an anxious look on his face.
"So what do yall think we should do? Should we fight or run."

He holds his swords crossed in front of him.
"If it was my call i would say that we should stand and fight because were gonna have to fight these guys eventually so why not now."

As Candarous and Sazuke teleported into the root-town, they were greeted by chaos. Black Sun grunts were running and being tossed around everywere, in the centre of the chaos was a monster that spoke to Sazuke's greatest fears.

A data bug.

"Well this certainly is interesting."

Candarous raised an arm to stop Sazuke from leaping into the frame.

"No no no, we do not leap in like that. There are easyer ways to do this."

Candarous snapped his fingers, and the data bug stopped chasing the grunts, only to be heading for Fate now.

"I think we have found our target, and he doesn't seem to be interested in returning to the Black Sun. Let's stick around, if the data bug doesn't kill him, we'll have to finish the job. Nobody betrays the Black Sun like that. Nobody."

As the data bug charged at Fate, the grunts decided that this was a good time to bail. The data bug took a mighty swing at Fate, who tried to block it whith his swords. He was flung back by the punch and crashed into a wall. He climbed back up to see the monster looming above him. The creature grinned and raised his arm, ready to strike.

"Evil Wave!"

The barage of negative energy shot the data bug of Fate and crashing trough a wall. Fate turned to see a figure clad in a rare black armor, holding what seemed to be a shortspear. Two cat ears poked out of her pink hair and blood red eyes stared at the creature. Tanaya turned to a figure standing behind her.

"Your turn."

The figure nodded. He was an orange clad twinblade, wearing a strange yellow bracelet. He stepped forward and aimed his arm with the bracelet towards the data bug.

"It's been a while since I last did this. DATA DRAIN!"

A bright yellow beam shot forward from the bracelet and hit the data bug head on. Data swirled around it and the monster deformed into a weak, low level one. A female silver-haired heavyblade stepped forward and swiped her sword at it.

"Looks like you still have it, onii-chan."

Mario turned to face the building that Fate had been knocked into. The Black Sun grunts had fled from the scene. What the hell is going on here? He thought. He ran over to Fate and helped him up. Just then, he noticed that Fate was alright, so he slowly helped him up. Just then, he saw a powerful yellow blast shoot out from the building and hit the data bug. The bug had been demoted to a lower level. Who could have done that? Mario thought in confusion and anxiety. "Whoever is there! If you wish to help us...thanks a lot...but I warn you, if you're here to fight us...I won't make it easy for you!"

Being held back by Candarous, Suzaku felt useless. He was just extra baggage to this guy. Watching as the Data Bug changed allegience, he saw the players he had sided with not long ago with the target. Realising that the Data Bug was bad news, and would probably go for his friends next, Suzaku was thinking rapidly. If he was to go assist them, the Black Sun would see it as betrayal. If he left them to be attacked... Thoughts of the players who had been defeated by Data Bugs ran through his mind. He recalled the rumours that had arisen about the defeated players, about comas and other mental health conditions, and grew increasingly torn between his loyalties.

Before he could act on his decision, the Data Bug had vanished, leaving a weakened monster in its place. He sighed in relief, but realised something with a shock.

...There is only one person who could ever do that to a Data Bug...

His suspicions were confirmed as the legendary twinblade stepped out from the building that was obscuring Suzaku's view, followed by his equally famous heavyblade partner, who ran forward and defeated the moster.

...Kite......and...BlackRose....?

Suddenly, Suzaku realised the two famous players were not alone. He squinted as he tried to make out the third figure. He jumped as he made out who the figure was.

He spoke in a hushed voice. "Tanaya... She's back..."

Calming himself, Suzaku assessed the situation. Assuming that the two legends were on the side of the CC Corp, and that Fate was being backed up by them, the odds were now heavily stacked against him and Candarous. He turned to Candarous, speaking quickly.

"We should go. Now."

[Chibi-chan]

Fiona looked at the twinblade who had data drained the creature, just staring at him and looking dumbfounded. "Kite...or is it Shugo?" she asked, seeming confused. She then looked over to Fate, a healing potion in hand. She applied the potion to Fate, restoring his health to him. "Maybe we don't have to use my contact after all..." she whispered, though mainly to herself. "If that's Kite or Shugo, then he will has to know where Aura is!"

She then noticed that Tanaya was back, and a smile crossed her face. "Ah, I see that our original leader is back as well!" Fiona said happily. "Now we need Suzaku and Black Wolf back with us, and we'll be a happy family again," she teased.

"I-I'm alright,thanks Fiona,Mario."Fate slowly got up and saw some people he didn't regonize."Who's are they?"Fate turned towards the Black Sun grunts."You're not going anywhere!"Fate created a barrier around the Black Sun members,although,not creating the barrier huge enough to get the two that have just arrived."They should realize it was a big mistake to fool around with me."Fate raised his pendent into the air and all of the Black Sun grunts were tooken out by a explosion."Fate reattaches his pendent and picked up his katanas."Do not underestimate me!"

"Wow...... I wish i was that strong. But i dont think that i could ever do that."

Picks up his bag of items and walks over to the group of characters who killed the data bug.
"Well yall looked like yall had fun. Do yall want some of the items I just bought since they didnt really seem to care about them? And do yall have any idea about how much 200 of every healing item costs? Cause i think i ran out of money."

He starts laughing a little.Then kicks a little bit of dirt off the ground.
"I never get to have any fun cause people always take it first. Maybe one day ill get to help."

Candarous frowned, this was completely unexpected. What were those characters doing here? Did Tanaya plan this out all along? How much does she really know?

"No, we should stay here for a while. Although our mission is technically completed, now that we know Fate has left the Black Sun, we still need to stay here. This litle get-together could provide verry interesting information. The only thing we need to do is remain unnoticed, wich is easy, since they won't rcognise us even if they see us."

"A happy litle family indeed. But there are always new additions to the family."

She turned to the two characters who had saved them. The orange clad twinblade with stepped forward and smiled.

"Hi, I'm Shugo and this is my sister Rena. Pleased to meet ou."

Mario stood, shocked. These characters were strong...he could feel the strength coming out of them. This is incredible...these characters came to save us...but why? And... he stopped thinking to himself, "...and where were you Tanaya?" He walked over to her and hugged her unexpectedly. He laughed a little as he seemed to startle her. "You were gone so long...I honestly thought you might have been killed in the game...stupid me, I guess." He laughed again. Then he walked over to the players, Shugo and Rena, and introduced himself, "Hi...I'm Mario. I notice that you two are extremely high-leveled characters in the World. Well...if you're on our side to the end, I'd be glad to fight beside you." Mario walked closer to them, "Thank you for saving us...I know we probably would have all been killed..."

Suzaku was becoming worried. Candarous was underestimating the abilities of their enemies. Data Drain was the most powerful attack known to The World, and Candarous obviously wasn't aware of the problems that having the one person who controlled the attack fighting for his enemies' side.

This is bad...

Following orders, Suzaku continued to watch, waiting for any information to come from the group. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of remorse as he heard Tanaya describing the group as a happy family; a family which he would be a part of if he hadn't wanted to see Emma so badly.

He stopped for a moment. It wasn't just that he had wanted to see Emma. Sure, it was originally his objective, but Aran had opened his eyes to the truth behind the struggle between CC Corp and the Black Sun. The agents who had lost their memories because of the accursed actions of the CC Corp. The lives ruined by their wanton eradication of the Black Sun. He couldn't forgive them.

I don't care..... even if these are my friends.... I have to fight for the reason I believe in... not the reason my heart tells me to choose....

His eyes glared down on Tanaya with a new, fierce determination that had laid dormant in his soul for some time, and he gripped his two daggers tightly.

She is my enemy now.

Fiona looked at Shugo and smiled a little, nodding slightly. "I knew it was either you or Kite...It gets confusing when two players have the same character design," she said with a laugh. She then looked at Rena and smiled at her as well. "Then again, I should have known, considering that 'Black Rose' was calling you her brother...And I know for a fact that Kite and Black Rose weren't related," she stated. Then she asked the question that was on her mind at the moment. "I must ask you, then if you know the whereabouts of Aura..."

He greets Shugo and Rena and introduces himself.

Turns around and starts walking towards the chaos gate.
"Since yall dont seem to need me around right now i guess ill just go find an area to train in."

Lifts his arm partially in the air , waving at them while walking away.

Candarous turned to see an obviously distressed Suzaku. He knew how he felt, he wasn't quite at ease being among all these powerfull characters himself. Still, a job's a job. And Candarous had never let down or failed a job before.

"Take it easy, there's no way they can recognise us with these cloacking belts. Not even Fate."

Suzaku then asked if they didn't look suspisious watching the group like this. At wich Candarous laughed.

"Look around, were not the only ones who have come to observe this battle. Many players have seen what happened here, were just two more spectators of this battle."

Candarous noticed the inner struggle that Suzaku faught. He was beginning to worry, but as soon as he saw the look in his eyes when he looked at Tanaya, Candarous smiled.

The kid's good.

Shugo sadly shook his head.

"No, unfortunatly not. If I did, we would have found her by now and at least goten some answers about what is going on around here. What we do know, however, is that the Black Sun you have been fighting are just small fry. During our search we came across a Black Sun agent who was way stronger then any agent we had ever seen before. "

Shugo sighed and looked down.

"It looks like the problems in the world just keep following the golden rule of evil."

As the others stared in confusion, Tanaya shrugged.

"Evil does not die, it only multiplies."

"I agree with that."Fate said.Although,he was surprised that Zero has left all of a sudden."Although,the Black Sun can not continue their actions."Fate's voice sounded more confident than usual."The World is getting destroyed as the Black Sun remains."Fate's voice began to sound more confident."If this continues,this could be a beginning of another "Twilight"!We can not let the events the dothackers faced happen again!"Fate turned away from the group."The World is a great place......we can not let it be destroyed by the Black Sun!"Fate turned back towards the group."We should find Aura no matter how long it takes!"His voice filled with determination

A look of disappointment spred across Fiona's face as Shugo said he didn't know where Aura was. "I see..." she said softly. She then began to get worried about Suzaku and Black Wolf. "If there are Black Sun much stronger than the ones that we've faced, our other friends could be in horrible danger!" she said, shaking her head. "I just hope that they'll be alright with their advanced weapons," she added.

After a moment of getting her mind to calm down and not think about how much trouble the other two memebers of their group might be in, she let out a sigh. "Well, now that our leader is here and all, I suppose that I should fill her in on what's going on," she said. "Before you three came, we were trying to head to a 'moderator' building that's here in Mac Anu. A friend of mine there may be able to get in touch with somebody who might be able to help us find either Aura or Tsukasa," she explained.

Zero left half the bag of items there for the new girl to keep and he left his member address with her. Then he walks over to the Chaos Gate and sticks his arm up in the air.
"I guess i should go to my thinking spot to try and figure out how to find Aura."

He yells out in a firm voice.
"HIDDEN FORBIDDEN HOLY GROUND!!!"

And then he teleports to a castle that is practically floating in the middle of a sea of mist.

Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground?!I feel like I've heard that area's name somewhere.....not right now,but somewhre else....Fate smirked.It shouldn't be to hard to find him,I put a tracker in Zero's bag of healing potions,it shouldn't be too hard to track him afterwards.

"It's not going to be easy to track Aura,and Tsukasa."Fate said."Aura is a Vagrant AI,otherwise a wandering AI.It's obviously going to be hard to track Aura,even as a hacker my self,there's a possibiltiy she could be in the Net Slums,the area is filled with failure NPCs,a home to Vagrant AIs, and is called "Paraidse" by hackers,although I seriously doubt that Aura would be there."Fate continued."Although,even if we decide to go there,hackers are the only one that are able to get there."Fate paused,then continued."Maybe we could locate Tsukasa there as well,although,there is only one way to get there without hacking."Fate then began to whisper."The area that takes you directly to the Net Slums is "Pulsating Truth's Core",one last note,you have to head to Lambda Server to get there,using the Key words on any other server won't do you any good."Fate's voice then returned to his usual tone."We should search the Net Slums for anything about Aura,although,because there seems to be a moderator with us,they won't trust us."Fate began to walk towards the chaos gate then stopped."Maybe two or three of you can come with me,if our group is too big,they'll get suspicious."Fate sighed.

"Alright,you can come with me there,but even as hackers,we have to be cautious,I'm still being hunted by the Black Sun,so I'm going to need a disguise of some sort."Fate took out two small belts,of what seemed to be a upgraded version of the Black Sun's cloaking devices."It's just a mere device I stole from the Black Sun,I've upgraded it a bit of course,it is a cloaking device,well not really,it will just alter my appearence,although it's not going to do much though,I screwed up while altering it so my voice wouldn't be altered so I'm going to have to fake my voice a bit,however,atleast this upgraded version is way better than the prototype which is a had some glitches in it."


Fate walked towards the chaos gate."Once we get to the Net Slums,call me Saiyuko alright?It's just going to be a temporary name for me when we are in the Net Slums,same for you also,we can not go off using our actual character names there,the Black Sun is everywhere,our cover will get blown right away,so we have to be cautious with our actions."

"understood just call me Mai Ok" Kera was ready to go any time Fate was "besides if we do get in a fight i need the training" Kera smiled checking her items making sure she has every thing "ok you ready or you still have to do some thing" She said to Fate then looked at Mario and every one else and frowned "there ignoring me any way"

Zero walks in the castle doors and sees a wavemaster sitting on the altar looking at some floating white girl in a dress.Then he walks over towards him and stands a few feet behind.
"Hi there. Um.... havent i seen you somewhere before."

The wave master turns around and just looks at him with a depressed look on his face.
Wavemaster: "Who are you? And how did you find this place?"

Zero smirks a little.
"Well my friends told me that if i ever need to think for me to come here and im guessing that you had the same idea, but who is that girl floating there?"

*pained look* Look I thought I told you to PM me with any major story changes. I control most of the NPC's here, and Aura and Tsukasa are very important NPC's, thus they are under my control. I wasn't planning on bringing them in just yet.

Then she walks over to them and looks at the girl. ''Man I just got into the World but I've never seen a girl shine like that.'' Turns to the wavemaster,'' Why is she shining?''

OCC: Red Storm...give us a break. Kera posted 4 and a half lines. So it mite not be 5...but is it such a big difference? Anyway, I won't break the 5-line rule, but you shouldn't be so strict about it...

BIC: Mario looked at Fiona and asked her, "Shouldn't we get going to find Tsukasa? I know where the building is, and we're so close to it. Let's take Tanaya, Shugo, and Rena with us...they can help." He walked forward to the Northern quadrant of the city.

When Mairo got to the building, he stood at its foot and made sure thatit was the right building. It was, and Mario was proud that he had found it again. He hoped that he hadn't lost the group as they were walking.

When he looked back at the path he had taken, and saw nothing; nobody was there. "Damn...I hope they didn't get lost along the way." We're getting pretty close to Aura...all we need to do is talk to Fiona's contact, then find Tsukasa, and then we're set to find Aura... Mario smiled as he thought of they're current status as a group.

Suzaku listened intently to the conversation, edging closer to the group. Noticing that the crowds that had gathered to see the Data Bug were beginning to disperse, he realised that soon he and Candarous would start to look suspicious. Catching the last few lines of dialogue, he turned back to speak with Candarous privately.

"Looks like they're splitting up. Maybe we should do the same? It seems as though some of them are heading to a hacked moderator's office in this town, while our target and Kera, a fairly new player, are heading to the Net Slums. I'll finish up the mission, follow them to the Net Slums and deal with Fate. I doubt it will take our combined strength to delete his character, so I suggest you could do some recon on the objectives of the other group."

Suzaku's determination to avenge the Black Sun and defeat the CC Corp had taken over him. He was acting differently than he had before, and was now thinking solely of the mission at hand. If it meant he would have to fight Kera to get to Fate... so be it.

Fiona looked quite happy about the fact that they were so close to finding Aura. Well, maybe they were, she reallly didn't know if it was a certian thing or not. Then again, it was said that the hacker that her friend knew was the best of the best, no questions asked. She followed after Mario, almost walking right beside of him, thinking that it would be more than great if, when they did find Aura, she would be able to set Mafuyu free of the game.

Thinking of Mafuyu, she then stopped quite suddenly and frowned. She hadn't seen any sign of him, and she hadn't seen anything on the messages boards about him, either. It could be that he was straying away from the public areas of the game, but then again it could also mean that something bad had happened to him.

"we better go know i have a feeling where being watched" Kera said in a wisper not wanting any one to hear :i wounder what happend to susaku i havent seen him latly: she was woundering what happend but hes a stronge player so she pushed that thought away waiting till Fate said when they where leaving "Hello and one home" Kera started to wave her hand infront of Fates face trying to get his attention

OOC: well sorry about me doing that. i didnt think it would make much difference because i was going to put that they just dissappear in my next post. and i thought it would make things a little more interesting since we have gone all this time and not even caught a glimps of them. Mario looked back and saw Fiona, frowning as she though. "You're thinking of Mafuyu too...aren't you?" Mario walked over to Fiona and reassured her, "Fiona, remember...I have vowed to save Mafuyu's life and liberate his soul from the game...at any cost. I never had friends at school...you are my first. For this I am greatful...and to show my gratitude, I will find Mafuyu's soul for him. He will live."

Mario gave Fiona a slight comforting hug and told her, "Please don't worry about this...Mafuyu was always a strogn-willed guy at school...what would make him so different in this simulation of a game? He will make it." Mario smiled, knowing of Mafuyu's safety at the moment. There was no way that such a strong kid could die.

The girl looked up at Zero with something of a scared look on her face, and dissapeared. The boy turned to look at the place the girl was a moment ago and sighed. He stood up and picked his staff, then walked out of the castle. He stopped just before Zero and spoke in a soft voice.

"I don't know who you are, but I'd suggest you be carefull. There are people after you, and at such times it is not wise to seperate from your friends. I should know."

He then continued walking towards the large doors of the castle.

Aqua capital: Maq Anu:

Candarous thought over the plan Suzaku had just laid out for him. Sure it had some merrit, but also some risks. Although.... Fate didn't know Suzaku, and if they ustilized those cloacking belts, it would be handy to have someone who knows their identities. He nodded to Suzaku.

"Good idea, but be carefull. Fate is not someone to be underestemated. Everyone who tried that has died so far."

[Chibi-chan]

Fiona glared at Mario, kind of mad that he seemed to be reading her mind. Then she calmed down after a second, still looking at him without saying a single word. Calmly she got her friend into a headlock and started to give him the biggest noogie that he probably ever had. "Didn't I kindly ask you not to be speaking of that out loud?" she asked, though there wasn't any anger in her voice. "Stop getting all sentimental on me!"

(Net Slums)

"Hey, I have the relatively easy job. Kera is fairly new, with little battle experience, so she won't pose much of a threat, and I'm sure I can hold my own against Fate. His experience with Black Sun technology may prove to be a problem, though. Since he seems to have some incredible hacking abilities, including that Data Bug trick of his, I think he'd probably see through the cloaking device fairly easily. It should provide me with enough disguise to at least launch a surprise attack."

Although he spoke with confidence, he was unsure about himself. Dealing with Fate would be okay, but he didn't know if he could bring himself to delete Kera, a former friend.

"Anyway, you should be careful. If you get found out to be following them, you'll be outnumbered and outpowered. It would be best to be ready to escape rather than try to fight if they discover you. Be careful."

Noticing that Mario and Fiona had already left, he said "Looks like you should go. Good luck."

Zero walks after the wave master.
"Hey wait up dude. I have a question for you. Do you know anyone named Tsukasa because some people in my group are looking for him? You wouldnt happened to know where i could find him do you."

Walks beside him and has his hands behind his head.
"Its ok if you dont know though. Not many people do."

Gives the wavemaster his member address.
"Take my address so i can maybe help you find your friends since you shouldnt be wandering around by yourself either."

He hesitates to ask.
"So... who exactly is after me because you told me that a few minutes ago that someone was after me."

Mario smiled and laughed a little as Fiona played around with his hair. "Alright Fiona...well there's nobody else here. I just thought it would be a good time to bring it up. But I guess I'll stop then." He popped himself out of the headlock and pointed to the building. "Fiona...this building should take us to your contact...I think."

Mario stood beside Fiona and lightly pushed her forward with his hand. "After you. I don't want to walk into the building and not know what to do..." Mario smiled and opened the door for Fiona. "Go in...I'll close the door."

Fiona smiled some and looked at the building, giving a nod after a moment of staring at it. "Yes, this is the place," she said, looking at Mario. She smirked some as she pushed open the door. "Yo, Marcus...Can't you pic a location where there's not so many buildings?" she asked, looking at a male wavemaster.

The wavemaster, who was sitting in a chair with his arms crossed and head lowered, looked up and grinned some. He laughed at Fiona's comment and stood up, picking up his staff. He shook his head and bonked her lightly on the head. "How about you try and remember my location for once in your life?" he countered. "You get lost too easily," he stated. He then looked over at Mario and nodded to him. "So, this is Mario, correct?"

Mario looked at the man who's name seemed to be Marcus. "Yes...I'm Mario. Have you heard of me?" Mario smiled a littel at the hospitality of the guy. He seemed trusting enough.

Mario walked in closer, feeling comfortable. He took a seat on a chair he found and looked at Marcus as he conversed with Fiona.

[Chibi-chan]

"Of course I've heard of you," Marcus said with a smirk, once again bringing his staff down on Fiona's head again. "This little imp likes to rattle on about you," he stated, laughing at Fiona's sudden death glare towards the wavemaster.

"Lies," Fiona muttered, "I don't 'rattle' on! I just mentioned him," she murmured, crossing her arms. "Anyway, we have more important things to worry about! Like contacting a certian friend of yours?"

"Ah, that's right...You want to find Tsukasa and/or Aura, correct?" he asked, then went on without waiting for an answer from Fiona. "Well, I do know the person who could find out about such information, but it will cost you," he said with a wink.

Fiona let out a groan and burried her face into her hands. "Come on! This is for Mafuyu and the fate of everybody playing The World!" she told Marcus, shaking her head. "Can't you just do this for free?"

Mario smiled at the way the two spoke. They seemed like siblings almost. They really had fun as they spoke, he could tell...and they hadn't seen each other for a while. "Well, Marcus...whether Fiona speaks of me or not, we aren't here to figure it out. We need to know where to find Tsukasa. Is there any way you can help us with that?" Mario adjusted himself to a more comfortable position on the chair.

Mario looked up at Fiona and smiled. He hadn't seen Fiona so happy for a while...since before they had spoken of Mafuyu. He was glad to see that Marcus was a help to her mood. He looked over at Marcus and nodded...mostly to himself, showing himself that this man could be trusted...and could possibly be a big help if he joined the group...but that seemed highly unlikely.

[Chibi-chan]

Marcus looked at Mario and shook his head a little. "Well, I myself can't help you, as I'm sure that she's already told you. I'm a good hacker, but I'm not that good! That kid Tsukasa hasn't been seen or heard from in a long time, you do know that, right?" he asked, then sighed. "I only know of one hacker who most likely might be able to help, and that's Helba. Though I'm not even sure she's around any longer," he admitted.

Fiona sighed some and planted her face in her hands for a minute, then looked at Marcus. "Well, what are you waiting for, then?! Just send her a message and see if she replies! If she answers, then we'll know that she's still around!" Once again her mood had switched rather quickly. She sounded like she was rather irritated by her friend's excuse, and now she was sending death glares at him. "You talk about wanting to get...'rewarded' and you don't even know that Helba's around..."

Marcus stared at Fiona, looking rather shocked and a bit scared. "Wow, that tone doesn't sound too good," he muttered, just loud enough for Mario to hear.

The wavemaster seemed to startle at the mention of Tsukasa, but as soon as the question was asked, a barrage of more questions came from the young member. The wavemaster smiled at the young boy's enthousiasm, and loyalty to his friends. He spoke again in his calm voice.

"Yes, I do know Tsukasa, and about the ones who are chasing you.... They are the ones calling themselves Black Sun. You should either stay close to your friends or far away from them, preferably both. Now if you'll excuse me."

Before Zero could say anything more, the wavemaster transported out, leaving Zero standing in the empty castle.

Aqua capital, Maq Anu

Tanaya sat on a barrel against the the modified office, bonking the back of her head against the wall of the building. Rena sighed at Tanaya's behaviour.

"You know, you could go inside and listen to what that guy has to say."

"Yeah, well, I figure he won't like having a moderator in his house. He is a hacker after all, not to mention one who has been hiding under my nose all this time. Anyway, how about your other friends? Have they contacted you?"

"Well, I haven't heard from Sanjuro or Ouka, and you know what happened to Mireille."

Tanaya sighed, when she had managed to find Shugo and Rena, they had contacted Mireille. But when Tanaya told her what was going on in the world, she had been drooling troughout almost the entire story. As soon as Tanaya presented her upgraded weapon, she fainted. Shugo shook his head.

"Yeah, maybe contacting her wasn't the best of ideas."

Aqua capital, Maq Anu

Candarous cursed his bad luck, the moderator and the the two dot-hackers had chosen to stay outside, disabling him to get close enough to listen and get any usefull information without looking suspisious. Still, he'd bide his time, and wait.

Zero sighs and then walks back outside the castle. Then he sits down next to the sides of the pathway.
"Oh well. I guess I wont be finding this Tsukasa guy any time soon. And i wonder where that girl in the white dress went to."

He sends Kera a message to tell her about the people he just ran into and where he was going to wait for her.

Mario smiled as he noticed Fiona's annoyed presentation at the moment. He stood up and backed her away from Marcus a little bit. "Hehe...Fiona, just stay back...nobody has to get hurt here." He laughed, knowing he was being stupid. He looked at Marcus and smiled, "I think Fiona's right...you should message the girl, Helba. If she is there, she should be able to tell us where she is and we can get her to help us."

Mario sat back down and waited for Marcus to do so.

As Mario waited, he sent a message to Zero and Kera, telling them where he and Fiona were.

Message: Hey...Fiona and I are at Marcus's building (that's Fiona's contact that we found). If you need to see us, you know where we are. Also...I'm sure Tanaya and the others are outside the building. So if you see them, Fiona and I are close... Bye for now.

"Girl?" Marcus asked, raising a brow, then he sighed at Mario. A sort of disappointed look was on his face. Zero reads the message from Mario.
"I dont know if i should head over to Mac Anu without waiting for Kera first since i told her i would be there. But if she got a message from him to then i guess she will be heading over there instead."

He warps out of the area and back to Mac Anu. Then he starts walking around to find the building theyre hanging out in.
"How in the heck am i supposed to find them with all these other buildings around here."

Marcus kind of whimpered at Fiona's behavior, blinking some and letting out a soft sorry that sounded more like a squeek. He then glanced at a sceen that was on the wall a few feet away from his chair. Sighing, he got up and looked at a little dot on the screen. "Looks like somebody's trying to find us..." he muttered.

Fiona, who was looking like she was ready to hurt Marcus more, blinked and went over to the screen. She saw the name that was under the dot. "Ah, looks like Zero is trying to find us...I'll be right back," she told Marcus and Mario, heading outside. She saw that Tanaya and the twins were still outside. "Ya know, you can go inside if you want. Marcus doesn't mind a mod, just as long as your a friend," she said to Tayana.

Without waiting for an answer, she headed down to where Zero was. It didn't take long to find him. "Hey, Zero!" she called, going over to him. "Looks like you got the mail that Mario sent you..."

Kera got the messege but didnt feel like answering that second she was getting vary impaintiont with Fate if he doesnt hurry hes going to be on the ground crying Kera was getting alittle mad but still she just waited

Zero stands in front of Fiona breathing hard.
"Hi there. Lol yah i got your message so i rushed right over. So what happened? Did yall find out what yall needed to and you will never guess what happened at the area i went to."

After Fiona left, Mario looked at Marcus in the building and smiled, "That comment you made about Helba...that was pretty funny. By the way...Lenne's character design isn't that bad either..." Mario laughed. Knowing there was another guy in the building made him comfortable to talk about girls. Mario checked the screen. He saw the dots...seeming like Fiona, Zero, Tanaya, Shugo, and Rena. They were all relatively close togather...near the building. "This si a pretty cool computer you have here, Marcus..."

Mario looked over at the door as he heard voices from outside...Fiona and Zero were right at the door. He sat back down and patted Marcus on the shoulder, "If you don't want to get hurt...we should shut up about girls." Mario laughed and looked back at the door.

Marcus laughed, "Yes, her character design is great, isn't it?" he asked, smirking mischieviously. "That's why I want to be 'rewarded' by her if my work proves useful," he laughed. Marcus seemed to be the type of guy that didn't care who it was, as long as it was female. He was practically beaming when Mario commented on his computer. "I'm used to getting smacked around by Lenne, though!" he added, hearing Mario's comment. "Getting hurt doesn't phase me any longer!

Mario smiled as Marcus stressed the word 'rewarded'. He's a sick guy...but hilarious to stick around I guess. Mario started laughing. Mario was kind of perverted himself, but not as much as Marcus.

Mario noticed that Marcus was obviously a confident man. To be talking about women around a stranger must have taken some kind of confidence. Mario was pleased to be in the presence of this guy, because he created such a humour in the air that made Mario happy.

"Alright,Kera,we're here."Fate began to walk forward a few steps."You should stay close,I've got a feeling there's someone following us."Fate had hands gripped onto his katanas,ready to attack if something was to surprise them.

"I don't know,but we should keep our guard up till then."Fate responded.Fate began to walk around,asking hackers for information about Aura,most of them didn't know much,or,were scared of him and ran away because he was a feared hacker.Fate sighed."Ugh,we're not getting anywhere."Fate took several steps forward."Hardly anyone knows much about it except for........"Fate turned around."The queen of hackers,Helba......."Fate whispered.

"Looks like this is my chance." Suzaku walked slowly towards the Chaos Gate, so as not to seem suspicious. To get to the Chaos Gate, he would have to walk past the fake moderator's office that his enemies were gathered around. He took a deep breath and walked forward, inadvertently brushing past Tanaya. He waited for some sign that she might have figured out that it was him, but it seemed as though she was too preoccupied with the dothackers to notice. He hurried to the Chaos Gate.

He reconfigured a Chaos Gate... incredible...

Using the same pathway that Fate had created, Suzaku entered the Net Slums.

As the yellow circles disappeared from his body, the Net Slums once again stood before Suzaku. He glanced around, and not far ahead from where he was standing, Fate and Kera were pacing along the street.

I have to take both of them out... even if one of them is my friend...

He held his daggers tightly, and his voice echoed along the street.

"Fate! I have come for you!"

Tanaya barely even noticed Suzaku brushing past her. To her, he was just another player that came trough the root-town. She sighed as she decided to go in, wondering what surprises a hacker who had been living under her nose for so long had to offer. As she entered the room, she turned to Shugo.

"So, what do you think?"

"I don't know, I've never indulged in hacking before."

Another sigh, she should have known. The only hacking Shugo had ever done was hacking a chaos gate with the bracelet, asking him about a hackers base would be beyond him. Tanaya shook her head to clear those thoughts and turned to Marcus.

"Wel, looks like you are as good as a hacker as Fiona claims, you've been living here right under my nose for quite some time I hear. So tell me, how did you do it?"

Aqua Capital, Maq Anu

Candarous sighed, looks like his luck wasn't changing just yet. Now the moderator and the two dot hackers were in, but three other members were out. Looks liek he would just have to play the wait-and-see game again.

God, he hated the wait-and-see game.

Marcus stared at Tanaya for the longest time, then yelped, looking rather paniced. "Y-you're a mod!" he said, practially accusing her. "Lenne didn't say a thing about a moderator being in her group!" he whimpered, looking rather nervous.

Fiona had come in, letting Zero talk to the new girl. "What are you yelling about?" she asked, glancing at Tanaya and the others. Now she knew why, and was laughing. "I suppose I forgot to mention them," she said in a falsely apologetic tone.

Marcus glared at her for the longest time and sighed, shaking his head. "Sneak," he grumbled, crossing his arms and looking towards Tanaya. "You really want to know how? I'm afraid that I can't tell you such classified information," he told her. "However, if you were to 'pay' me, I'd be happy to-" he began, but was silenced by Fiona, who smacked him in the back of the head.

"It's one thing to be breaking the rules of The World, I'm fine with that, but can you keep your perverted hands and thoughts to yourself, please?"

Zeros sits down in a chair after introducing himself to the new girl and just watches everyone yell at each other.
"Ok....Im a little lost on what is going on. And ill just wait till yall are done talking about whatever . Then ill tell you what i saw at my thinking area."

Kera turned around sharply "wha the Susaku long time no see friend" Kera smiled and waved her hand not thinking on what Susaku said and started walking towards him "whats been going on where have you been" Kera said being curious sencing some thing different about Susaku stopped ten feet away and held onto her weapons tight and started to glare at Susaku "where have you been Friend" Kera now seriuos

"Didn't you hear him?!He's after me!"Fate yelled.Strands of data gathered around his wrists,his two katanas reappeared gripped tightly in his hands."I do not wish to fight with you,but in this case,I want to end this as quickly as possible."Fate created barriers to prevent the mysterious person from escaping."I will show no mercy."Fate began to glow with a red aura."There is nowhere you can run!"Fate was prepared to attack,he didn't really want to fight the person,but he left him no choice.

Suddenly, Suzaku realised his camo-belt was no longer functioning. Realising that, like Candarous had said, it was old, Suzaku decided that it probably had stopped working due to overuse. He grunted angrily. He hadn't wanted to reveal his identity yet, at least not to one of his friends. He quickly switched his accessory back to his pendant and discarded the now useless belt. It glowed a dull red as he put it back on.

"Kera, I don't want to hurt you," he stared hard at the Twinblade, "but if I have to, I will. Step aside and let me deal with Fate." He readied his daggers and got into a battle pose.

"Or else."

Thanks to Fate's barriers, escape was now impossible, but that wasn't what bothered Suzaku. He jumped back, staying out of Fate's range. Realising he would not be able to keep Kera out of the battle, Suzaku sighed angrily. He hadn't wanted to hurt her, but she deserved an explanation.


"Look, we've been fighting for the wrong side," he shouted with a voice filled with anger, "All along, CC Corp has been using us as puppets for their cruel ways to get rid of the Black Sun. People have had their memories wiped, their lives altered forever, just because they broke a few rules! I've taken out my fair share of Black Sun, and now I can't make up for what I've done. But, if nothing else, I can bring solace to those who's lives have been ruined because of the CC Corp by bringing down the CC Corp once and for all. Don't you understand? You're being used by rich, fatcat executives as they sit back and laugh at the pain they cause!"


His voice wavered as he stared into Kera's eyes.


"Please. I have to attone for the wrongdoings I've made, and to start, I need to deal with that traitor."

"Shut up!You don't know the seriousness of what's going on right now!"Fate yelled."If you want to die right now,so be it!!"Out of nowhere,data bugs appear."Alright then,if you want to stay with the Black Sun,go ahead!See if I care!"Fate's past flashed back in his eyes.Having to send his best friend into a coma.......being betrayed by the Black Sun.......he now vowed no matter what,he'll send the Black Sun to a end.

Kera stared at Susaku and fate tears started to slide down her face "stop fighting!" Kera yelled "i dont want to see two of my friends be deleted under each others weapons" Kera fell to her knees "Fate call back your data bugs now!" Kera said seriously giving him a glare "Susaku i understand what your saying but i wouldnt have done what you did you joined the black sun and they are the enemy" Kera said in a sad angery voice giving Susaku a cold glare still on the ground "i understand every thing Fate tell him why you stopped being a black sun" Kera looked at Fate then soon got up "i dont wont to see my friends fight and if i have to get in both of your ways to stop you i will at the risk of being deleted" Kera got into a fighting stance waiting for answers or for some one to attack

Watching the legions of Data Bugs that Fate now had under his control in awe, Suzaku realised that the Slums wouldn't be able to maintain itself because of the excess of foreign data. Surely enough, as the Data Bugs stood growling, Suzaku could see the sky tearing itself apart as the data tried to keep together, and the ground rumbled and split in a few small parts of the streets. It was just like the forest area he had visited with Black Wolf. The place was falling apart.


"If you get rid of those Data Bugs right now, this area is going to go down, and permaneantly have an effect on both our characters and ourselves!" Suzaku shouted to Fate in desperation. "Including Kera! Stop them, now!"

[Chibi-chan]

Mafuyu, who had been residing in the Net Slums ever since Aura brought him back from the area collapse, watched and shook his head as Suzaku spoke. "I suppose that I'll have to try and talk logic into him," he muttered, heading towards the barrier.

"I think that you should stop this foolish fight before somebody gets hurt," he said, begining to go through the barrier. "You, who have joined the Black Sun, are going to be ending up like the CC Corp fools if you end up destroying this boy," Mafuyu said. "Isn't it the same thing? Taking out a person just because they 'disrupted' the balance?"

He scowled as he saw that the Data Bugs were beginning to make the area collapse and he took out his weapons. "I suggest that you listen to Suzaku and call of these barbaric creatures," the transparent twinblade said, glaring at Fate.

Mario smiled as he saw Tanaya and the others enter the building. There was a new girl, Negi, speaking with Zero. So much has happened in this past hour. Mario thought with a smile.

As he sat, imagining the next few days; travelling to find Helba and Aura, Mario sensed something...something very familliar. It was the energy of one's soul...a person Mario knew of and had seen or sensed before. Mafuyu! He's alive in here...I can feel him somewhere...and he's in danger... Mario thought, then thought out loud, "He's with Kera and Fate!" Mario looked as he saw everyone giving him weird looks. He stood up and grabbed Fiona by the arm. He ran, dragging her outside the building. "Fiona! I can feel Mafuyu's energy! And he is around Fate and Kera......most likely in the Net Slums..."

Mario looked at the area where Fate and Kera had headed about an hour ago...when the group split. "Fiona...we have to save him now...we can get to him on time if we go now. Tell everyone we're leaving, and me and you will go to the Net Slums." He looked at Fiona and smiled, heroically, "We can find Mafuyu's lost soul!" Mario turned back to face the gate where the two had left.

Before Mario could do anything more, Tanaya positioned herself between him and the gate.

"And what were you planning? Heading in head first weapons swinging in an uncontroled desire to save that boy? You don't even know the situation! Besides that, the Net Slums is a hacker server, created and controled by hackers. You can't just transport in there like any other server, the thing needs to be hacked. That's why it's called a hacker server! We can't just barge in and heroicaly save the day, what's out there could well enough kill us all!"

The most ironic thing about the wait-and-see game, was that in most cases it actualy payed of. This was one of those cases.

"Interesting, so they want to save a friend in the Net Slums. I wonder how that boy even knows about the Net Slums, he doesn't look like much of a hacker to me. But wait, if they are talking about Fate and that Kera girl, that means someone has interfered with Suzaku. Damn, and I can't do a thing! Or wait, perhaps I can."

Candarous took out a miniature comunication device (standard Black Sun equipment, not issued to gruns but only to true Black Sun) and contacted Aran.

"Yes, it's me. Listen I got a situation here that went out of control and over my head. I need you to do something for me. .... I know, I'll explain later. ..... Yes I know. .... Allright, thanks comander, I owe you one."

Mario jerked his head over to look at Tanaya, annoyed. "You may be our leader...but you don't seem to be a very fearless one Tanaya! I plan to go in, no matter what it takes, to save Kera and another friend. I don't care about Fate, he could be deleted for all I care...but I swore to protect Kera...and by letting her into the Net Slums without me...I have broken that promise." Mario turned around and pulled out his rapier. He ran into the building again.

He saw Marcus still sitting there, "Marcus...come with me! I need you to help me hack into the Net Slums. I know it's dangerous...and I barely know you at all...and I know it's hackers only...but I need to save a few people! Hurry up...before it's too late!" Mario watched him in impatience. He frequently turned his head to face the door, feeling as if that would keep the situation from getting worse while he wasn't watching. It waws stupid, but it kept Mario a little more calm.

[Chibi-chan]

"Mario!" Fiona scolded, having followed after him, hearing what he said to Tanaya. "That boy, Fate...Do you know how he might end up if his character is deleted? How can you say such a horrible thing?!" she practically yelled, but held back on saying it so loudly that the whole World could hear. "And Tanaya is just being cautious...We won't be any good to our friends if we get ourselves killed!" she snapped. Mario was her friend, but he could be very careless.

Marcus was already heading out the door before Mario came in, holding some items in hand. "Yes, I heard you," he muttered, brushing past Mario and heading to the Chaos Gate. "You have to calm down...I'm sure that my man Mafuyu can handle himself without you making a scene," he told Mario, shaking his head. "Time to hack," annoucned, standing in front of the gate.

"Mafuyu?" Suzaku spun round, taking his eyes away from the Data Bugs and Fate, and glancing at an angry looking Mafuyu.

He sighed, realising Mafuyu had a point. "Look, you must understand. There is no real right side to choose from here. Both seem to have their own problems. But... I can't forgive the CC Corp for what they've done. For now, I have to focus on bringing them down. Even if that means doing the Black Sun's dirty work until I can focus on the executives in charge, I don't have any other choice."

[Chibi-chan]

"There are other ways to stop CC Corp rather than just doing things the Black Sun told you to do...An organization that kills off a player if they leave the group...Is that any better than what CC Corp does? Have you ever thought about that?" Mafuyu asked, shaking his head and sighing a little. "Both CC Corp and the Black Sun are equal when it comes down to it," he told Suzaku.

He then looked over at Fate and shook his head at him. "Both of you need to stop this at once. This fighting will only get you hurt or worse...Worse isn't a good option to pick. Trust me on that. Get those Data Bugs out of here..."

Mario watched as Marcus walked past him. He followed close behind and met him at the Chaos Gate. I'm not letting Mafuyu or Kera die now! I promised to keep them both alive...so I will. He stood behind Marcus as he began to hack through the gate. "You have to get us in there before the chaos begins, Marcus...we have to save whoever's in there."

How could I speak so creully? I didn't want it to sound as if I hate Fate...I just don't have much care for the kid...he doesn't seem too significant to me. I'm an idiot...eugh... Mario watched as Marcus began to hack into the gate.

Suzaku stared at the ground as it continued to crack, lost in thought.

I never even stopped to think about Fate... I was only following orders... not even questioning my mission. I'm no better than those CC Corp scum...

"...no." Suzaku's voice was quiet, barely hearable over the static noises being created by the network. "You're right, I made a bad choice, but you're just trying to confuse me."

In fact, I was never briefed to attack Fate, only to survey him. The order to delete his character came from Candarous... Maybe Candarous is the same as the grunt factions in the Black Sun, wanting to simply cause chaos...

"The Black Sun's goal isn't to hurt players, only to survive. And if I don't help..." His voice quickly picked up in volume, and his shouts filled the Slums. "If I don't help, the CC Corp could destroy them! I can never change my allegiance now I've discovered the truth!"

[Chibi-chan]

Marcus smirked as he placed the Data Cores around the Chaos Gate. "Alright, here we go," he said, nodding and said the proper words in order to access the Net Slums. The cores began to glow, then turned into bits of data. The data bits seemed to merge with the gate, turning it a red color, rather than blue. "Ladies first," he said, nodding to the girls, though he was motioning to Fiona.

Fiona didn't even wait for Marcus' words. She just went to the area before he even finished his words. Once she was at the Net Slums, it didn't take too long to find Mafuyu, Fate, and Kera. She blinked some when she spotted Suzaku, a questioning look on her face. "Suzaku?!"

Mafuyu heard Fiona, but didn't face her. He stared at Suzaku and shook his head, looking rather angery. "I know the Black Sun's goals. However, that doesn't changed the fact that they act like CC Corp. You were ready to eliminate Fate, just because he left the Black sun, correct? And you can very well change your alliance. Even if you found out the truth, you can fight CC Corp without being in the Black Sun. You have a group of people that you were with before, all of them with great strength! Don't you realize this?" he questioned. "And here I thought hackers were supposed to be a brilliant bunch..."

Suzaku spun round at the sound of Fiona's voice. He didn't know whether to run up and hug her after seeing her familiar face, or to throw one of his daggers at her. Nothing was simple anymore. He closed his eyes as he tried to shut out the distractions of the still collapsing area.


I can fight alongside them... they have the same hopes; the same goal as myself... but then, Tanaya is with them, a mod from the CC Corp... What if this is all part of some higher plan concieved by the CC Corp...


He opened his eyes and stared at the characters surrounding him. Each one of them waited for him to speak, seemingly ready to attack him should he say something wrong.


"...I....have to think about this..." Suzaku's pendant glowed bright blue, and a pulse of energy emerged from its centre. The pulse grew larger, smashing the barrier that was surrounding him into fragments. In the bright blue light, while the others were blinded by the light, Suzaku vanished.

Mario jumped into the gate and raced over to Kera. He didn't look out for what was happening, he only ran and caught up to her. "Kera! Are you okay? I hope we came on time..." He looked around and saw Suzaku...his weapons were readied and willing to attack. Fate was on the opposite side of Suzaku and was ready to fight as well.

"What the hell is going on here?" Mario yelled as he looked at the two of them. Then, almost not noticing the transparent figure, he saw Mafuyu. He ran to the soul and stood in front of him, "Mafuyu! Lenne is here for you, you idiot! Why won't you look at her?!" He scolded, "Look at her in the eyes and talk to her. She isnt mad at you...she won't be hurt to see you. We've just been looking for you for so long! Why can't you just cooperate?!" He would have hit Mafuyu, but he couldn't for it was only his soul lingering in the Slums.

He turned and wached as a swarm of Data Bugs flooded the scene. He watched as the area was being torn, and was connected to the Bugs. "This can't be good at all!" He yelled to himself.

"Take your time," Mafuyu said, then turned and looked at Mario, shaking his head some. "I was trying to take care of something," he said with a sigh.

He tore his gaze away from Mario and smiled at Fiona, though it was a rather sad smile. "Lenne...I'm sorry to say that we can't really talk right now...You have to leave this area before the Data Bugs get to you, or the server crashes. I'll be happy to talk with you after you're safe in Marcus' office," he said, suddenly fanishing.

Fiona closed her eyes and nodded some, "I understand," she said, then looked at Mario. "Alright, let's get Kera and Fate, then leave here immediately," she said, then glared at Fate. "Get those things out of here!" she instructed, crossing her arms as he headed over to Kera and Fate.

"Damn,he's gone....."Fate then heard Fiona's voice."I was about to do that anyways."Fate said.The data bugs dissapeared."Alright,then,we should get out of here,I also have to reconfigure the chaos gate,I can't let any normal player to discover this place."Fate's katanas slowly dissapeared into strands of data."I wonder.....if he will be fighting with us in the end......"Fate shook his head."I shouldn't worry about him right now."Fate sighed with relief."I wonder.......what's the Black Sun's reason for doing all of these things..."

Zero finally gets up and leaves the office after being left behind by everyone and lets out a small sigh.
"What the heck was the point of me joining these people if im just always gonna be ignored and left behind. I think i would have better luck traveling around by myself and maybe if i get lucky ill find a data bug or something else i can use."

He walks over to the chaos gate and warps to a random area. When he gets there he doesnt see anything that seems out of the ordinary so he runs to the lowest level of the dungeon.
"Dang..... I was hoping there would be someone or something down here, but i guess not so ill just have to look harder."

As hes getting ready to warp out he notices a tiny little ripple of data.
"Whats this? Oh well im sure its nothing that the CC Corp wont fix."

But when he trys to warp out he realizes that its not working.
"Why cant i log out of here? Hm.... thats kinda strange but ill just walk i guess."

As Tanaya transported in and watched the scene playing before her eyes, she sensed danger. Even as the data bugs vanished, the nagging sense of danger continued. When she realized the cause of this sense, her fists tightened and she turned to Mario, speaking in a voice that was laced in sarcasm.

"Well this was a rather eventfull trip wasn't it? And? Could you play the hero as you so much wanted to? Ah, no, I forgot. You didn't do a thing, did you? Except make things worse."

Rena and Shugo, who had beem following right behind Tanaya, blinked in confusion.

"What do you mean, 'make things worse' the data bugs are gone, aren't they? So everything should be okay, right?"

"You think? Take a look around."

As everyone looked around, they gasped in horror. They area wasn't so much crashing as tearing itself apart, along with everyone in it. Strands of data ripped trough houses, streets.

And players.

Rena could barely control the tears in her eyes as memories of her own experience flowed trough her mind. She spoke in a panicked voice.

"How did this happen? Isn't there anything you can do?"

"What happened is that the area already was unstable because of the large quantity of Data Bugs. When we arived, the arival of so many artifacts in the same unstable area caused the area to rip itself apart. In short, the Net Slums will be no more. As are the players who are in it when it finally collapses."

She turned to Mario, a bitter smile on her face.

"This, is why I hate heroics."

Mario gulped down his pride and heroic feelings and got himself to begin to run. He looked at Tanaya and smiled back, apologetically. "Sorry, Tanaya...it's just my duty to look after Kera and I was also here for Mafuyu..." He grabbed Kera by the arm and pulled her away from where she was. "Fate, come over here and get this gate fixed!" Mario yelled. He looked at Fiona and said, just loudly enough for her to hear, "We're so close...we can save him soon, Lenne..." He smiled, but it faded as he turned to look back at Fate, "Hurry up!"

Fiona just stood there for a long time, letting what Tanaya said sink in. "All of those in this area...The ones who live here? They'll be gone?" she whispered, sounding as if she was in a state of shock. If she had known that, she would have stopped Marcus from letting them through. "No...This is my fault..." she murmured, shaking her head. Fiona was the type of person who blamed things on herself rather than her friends. "I'm sorry...I should have known that Mafuyu would be able to handle things!"

Fiona looked over at Mario and shook her head, looking upset. "This isn't the time to be worrying about Mafuyu!" she yelled, unable to control what she said at this point. Most of the things she was about to say were probably not true.

Mario turned to Fiona and gave a serious look. Accepting the criticism Fiona had given him, Mario turned to face the gate. "We can't wait any longer...or we'll all be killed! Let's go!" He yelled, trying to take a leadership rol, knowing he wasn't the leader...but he was scared for his friends.

Mario stood behind the group and waited for them to go through the gate before he did; he wanted to make sure nobody got hurt or caught after he had left the gate.

Fiona nodded a little and headed towards the gate, a sad look still on her face as she glanced to see the Net Slums falling appart. "I'm so sorry," she whispered, then left the world though the gate. When she arrived at Mac Anu, Marcus was already there, waiting for them.

"Mafuyu left for my office," he said as soon as he saw her, then frowned as he noticed that she was crying. "Hey now...What's wrong with you?" he asked, placing a hand on her head.

"Damn it...."Fate looked around him,the damage was very serious.Fate punched the ground.Don't let something like this make you lose your concentration,just try to stay focused.Fate stood up."Understood."Fate responded.Fate ran towards the chaos gate and reconfigured it.Fate sighed and had a worried look on his face."Alright,there,it's done."Fate said.Fate turned towards the Net Slums.Fate sighed again."I wish I could do something about this.......you probaly may hate me for what has happened now,but this isn't time to talk,we should get out of here,"The World" is continuing to get infected,I'm to blame for this,but we cannot never let this happen again."Fate said."I'm heading to one of the Black Sun bases,I've got to stop this."

Right as Zero was trying to leave the bottom floor it gets darker and a monster appears out of nowhere.
"Fine then. Ill make you get out of my way."

He dashes at the monster and slashes across its neck but right as it starts fading away it regenerates and attacks him.
"What the heck! How could a data bug be down here? There wasnt a protection around the area."

He turns around and starts running when another data bug appears in the narrow pathway. Then he sighs and charges at the second monster.
"If I'm gonna die then Ill die fighting you pathetic toys."

As he stabs the second data bug the one behind him stabs him right in the back and kills him. He lays dead on the ground and starts vanishing.

After being gone for a long time, Shiania logs on. She walks to a bench and sits.Well I guess im still new.she gets ups and starts looking around the capital.I still have no friends.She transforms into her panther form and changes back.Well thats the first time ive done that.She sits on a bench again and has a flash back and then she remembers.Oh!!! I forgot about that boy!She looks on her address book.''Zero eh?'' She sends him a message to meet her at the place they first met. Then she goes to the choas ring and says,''Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground!''

When she got there she went in to the casle and sat were that wavemaster did and waits patiently.

Mario couldn't wait any longer to leave...the Net Slums were violently crashing around him. He took Kera's arm and pulled her through the gate. "Let's go Kera...I swore to protect you, and that's what I'll do!" He jumped through, making the sign of the cross (in sympathy for the Net Slums) and met up with Fiona and Marcus on the other side. Mario noticed Fiona was crying. He patted her on the back and encouraged her, "Let it out Fiona...you'll be alright..."

Mario let go of Kera's arm, which he had been squeezing very tightly, not knowing until he released his grip. "Sorry, Kera." He said to her. He looked at Marcus as he said to Fiona that Mafuyu had made it to the office. "We should go to Marcus's office, Fiona." Mario walked beside Marcus and stood with him.

Kera wasnt acting like her self in the netslums the data thing messed her up bad "Mario.... leave......fight" Thats all Kera could say she couldnt remember what happend or what was going on. not even noticing when they left the netslums. in truth she was still a newbe and couldnt stand that messed up data prosses. just fallowing every one with out knowing. Her eyes where blank nothing showing not even emotion. But when Mario let go thats when Keras legs gave away under her and she fell

Mario, standing by Marcus, saw Kera flop to the ground quickly. He ran over to her and fell to the ground as he skidded to a stop beside her. "Kera...Kera! Get up! What the hell just happened to you?!" He lifted her limp body and held her tightly. I hope she didn't die...I care for this girl...I must protect Kera... Mario looked up at Marcus and Fiona and motioned them over to help him. "I don't know what happened to Kera...but I think she's in serious trouble. Her character may be getting deleted right now..." He looked back down at her and gave a worried stare.

"I don't think that's the case...Something's going on with her character, but it's not getting deleted, I can tell you that much. You would definately know if her character was being deleted. She would know as well...I don't know what's going on with her, but we must get her to the office, I agree," Fiona said in a rather monotone voice. The whole thing with the Net Slums had depressed her greatly.

Marcus looked at Kera and frowned, nodding in agreement with what Fiona was saying. "Yeah, I don't think she's getting deleted," the hacker said. "And I think that we have to get her there ASAP...Maybe Mafuyu knows something?"

"Try to get her out of her out of here as soon as you can."Fate said with confidence.The Chaos gate started to go haywire."Ah,damn!"Fate ran towards the chaos gate and struggled to try to get it functioning normally."The gate might not last longer,if we stay here,we'll be trapped and wind up like Kera!"Fate yelled."You must leave,don't worry about me,I can always create another exit out of here!"

"Look Fate, you are not the reason I stay here. There are more players in this area, who all walk the risk of falling into a coma right now or even worse. I have to make sure they get the hell out of here too!"

Shugo and Rena looked at each other for a moment, then turned back to Tanaya.

"And just how were you planning on doing that?"

"I'll forcefully log everyone out of the world using my artifact. Stay close!"

Tanaya walked towards the centre of the townsquare they were standing and raised her shortspear. As she concentrated, the spear began to glow a blue light. As she stood there, concentrating, rings of blue light conversed on the weapon and Tanaya slammed the weapon tip-first into the ground. Bright light burt from the point were the spear made contact with the ground and split into beams, each springing out and hitting a player, who then was forcefully logged out. When all players (except Fate, Shugo and Rena) had been logged out, Tanaya collapsed backwards. Shugo ran towards her.

"That, that was amazing! ..... Hey! What's wrong with your body?"

Tanaya's body had begun emiting a soft blue light, much like that of a wandering AI. Tanaya sighed and turned to the three.

"It was only a matter of time, logging everyone out of this server took a lot out of me. I must ask of you to keep what you just seen of me a secret from the rest. I should be okay in a few seconds."

As if to prove her point, Tanaya's body turned back to normal.

A blue light hit Mario, but he didn't understand where it came from.

He was back in the real world...logged out. Mario took his had set off and frowned...Why would that happen? We were so close to Mafuyu...and yet, we could not get to him... Mario was upset that they were so close to saving Mafuyu. He turned to look at Lenne and lightly pushed at her shoulder, "Lenne...get out of the headset. We have just been logged out...probably by some kind of supernatural power. It's almost like a hacker got to us..."

Mario sat up straight and remembered that they were sitting in the room where Mafuyu was previously sleeping. He must have still been in the ER. "I hope we can still save him..."

[Chibi-chan]

Lenne let out a sigh and removed the headset. She let out an agitated and looked rather irritated at the fact that they had been logged out. "This is stupid," she hissed, getting up and going over to Mafuyu's body. He was still in the same position as he was when they entered the game. She sat down next to him and shook her head, wrapping her arms around him. "Soon..." she whispered. "Marcus has mailed Helba...If she relpies, then everything will be fine," she promised. The girl placed her forehead against the boy's back and closed her eyes. "Mario...You want something to eat or anything?" she asked.

"Understood."Fate responded.Although,the chaos gate dissapeared."Shugo,you do know how to use the bracelet to get out of here right?"Fate asked."The gate is gone,you're going to have to use the power of the bracelet to leave."Fate takes out his katanas and cutted open a portal."I'm going to be alright,this is a hacker's server of course,so I can get out of here real easily."

Zero wakes up laying on the ground in the middle of some dark dungeon area.
"Where the heck am I? And i could swear that i got killed by a data bug so shouldnt i be out of the game?

He trys to warp out of the area but it doesnt work so he gets up and starts looking for a way out. After a few hours he realizes that hes stuck in there so he sends out emails to his friends Mario, Fiona , Kera, and Shiania telling them what happened.

Mario nodded to Lenne, "I think it would be best if we both ate something now, Lenne. I'll go down to the snack bar and get us something." He got up and took out his wallet, quickly checking if he had brought any money. There was enough, he wouldn't have a problem.

When Mario got out of the elevator, bringing him to the main floor, he headed for the pharmacy and got a few bags of chips and chocolate bars. Then he headed to the drinks and got them each a pop. "I hope Lenne likes these..." Mario was so fixed on how they had been logged out. He was so upset with himself that he didn't get to save Mafuyu when they had the chance. He went to the counter and bought the items. He left and went back upstairs to the room.

He smiled a little as he got back in, "Here you go Lenne. Eat up and regain your strength...I guess." He sat back where he was before and heard a sound from his computer. He had an email. He sat down and opened his laptop and found that the email was from Zero...but he could barely read it. It seemed it was being interfered with somehow. Mario looked closely at the letters that he could see and made out that it said: "Help, I'm stuck in an area and I can't log out."

What does he mean? Wasn't he in Marcus's office when we left? Mario closed the laptop and enjoyed some food first, then told Lenne, "Zero's trapped in some unknown area and he can't log out of it. What do you think has happened to him?"

[Chibi-chan]

Lenne snacked on the chips, though she seemed to only be nibbling on the same chip for five minutes, before Mario said something about Zero being trapped and unable to log out. She choked on the chip and looked at her friend, then got off the bed before giving Mafuyu a small hug. "Well, I have no clue what could have happened, but I think that we should be going to find him! I'm going to mail him and see what area he's in!" Lenne told Mario.

Zero...Where are you? Mario and I recieved your message, and we're going to be going momentarily to get you. Please try and keep your character alive and all of that good stuff!

IC: While Zero is walking towards a small lighted exit that he found on the second floor when he gets an email from Fiona and Mario.
"Wow i cant believe they actually got my message. Ok. now i have to figure out where the heck i am."

When he looks out the doorway all he sees is a bunch of monster gates and a cold, snowy, infected wasteland.
"Oh No! I think i should stay in here because i really dont feel like dieing again."

He sends an email back to them , to let them know where he is.

It wasn't all that long before Lenne recieved another mail from Zero, and she let out a sigh of relieve. The way he was writting his messages was irritating her a little bit, but then again, it probably wasn't his falut. It could just be something was wrong with the area, perhaps. She shook her head some and began to mail him back.

Understood, Zero...Mario and I will be there in no time. At least, I hope...If you're not able to log out of the area, we may not be able to get in. I just hope that that's not the case, and that we'll be there in a few moments. Hang in there, bud!

"I have the name of the area that he's in," Fiona told Mario. "Hurry up and log on so that we can try and get him out of there!"

Mario looked at Lenne and gave a serious look. "Alright...let's go then." Mario threw on his head set and logged in as quickly as he could. He waited for Lenne to log in as well.

"I just hope she can get us there on time. Zero's just a kid...well, kind of." Mario stood by Marcus's building...what a coincidence that he had landed there. He was tempted to go inside and see if Mafuyu was still waiting for them, but he controled himself and decided to leave it up to Lenne to choose ther path.

Lenne looked over at Mafuyu and let out a sad sigh. "I'm sorry...More things are comming up, I'm afraid," she whispered, then logged into The World.

Fiona appeared a few feet in front of Mario. She held up a finger to signal for him to wait one moment as she opened the door to the office. A look of disappointment crossed over her face as she saw only Marcus in the building. There was no sign of Mafuyu. "Where is he?" she asked.

"...He...uh...Kinda bailed out on us, I'm afraid," Marus said, shaking his head a little. When I came back and he saw that you weren't with me, he left. The guy didn't even say a word to me," the hacker said with a sigh. "He doesn't seem to be himself any longer!"

Fiona swore loud enough that Mario could probably have heard her. She scowled and kicked the door open, walking past Mario as she headed for the Chaos Gate.

Mario smiled when he saw Fiona leae the building, but his expression quickly changed as he noticed Fiona was pissed. He walked beside her in a power walk. "Fiona...I knew Mafuyu wouldn't wait. He gave us one chance to see him. We'll have to wait until the next time we met him again. He's obviously playing hard-to-get." Mario grabbed her shoulders and stopped her, making sure not to pull too hard. "Fiona, listen. Mafuyu is safe, there's no way he'll die hile he's an AI. For now, we can take our minds off of him. He doesn't want to be taken from here right now. So we need to focus on priorities."

Mario took his hands off of her and stood with her, waiting for an akcnowledgement of some sort.

Fiona shook her head furiously, not looking at Mario, because she didn't want him to see the tears in her eyes that were building up. "He's never done anything like this before! If he said that he was going to meet us there, he would have waited there until we arrived!" the heavyblade told him. "Something's wrong...He's changed way too much!" she hissed, pulling away from Mario and walking up to the gate. "Why has he changed? He waits forever to show himself in the game, and then he avoids me...then lies to me? He would never do this..."

Mario ran up to Fiona and again turned her arouns to face him. "Fiona...stop crying!" Mario began to finally let out his anger about Mafuyu. "You can't keep crying and thinking about Mafuyu! He's not willing to see you anymore...he doesn't --wait a second..." Mario paused and realized something. He put his hands on Fiona's shoulders again, almost like a huddle, and explained what he thought may be happening, "Fiona...Lenne...I have a strange feeling that the Mafuyu we saw earlier...is not the real Mafuyu. He must be some kind of --he must be the one that deleted Mafuyu...and he must have taken his body as a disguise! Do you think my theory has any promise at all, Lenne?"

Mario kept hold of her, stronger this time so she wouldn't try to break free. "Please stay here with me for a second before we go...I want to brainstorm with you. We need to find out about this Mafuyu AI...it's not him for sure...a kid who loved you...or liked you at least, would never leave your side...he would never leave you alone like this. If Mafuyu truly cared for you, he would still be at Marcus's office right now...but he's not!" Mario let go of her, but trusted her to stay close to him. "That Mafuyu AI...is an imposter...it has to be..." Mario felt kind of stupid saying this, but he had a strong feeling about this theory. He reassured Lenne, "I swore to help you find Mafuyu's lost soul...even if I must die to do so...so please, Lenne...don't cry..." Mario hugged her tightly and gave a soft promise...a comforting one, "I promise you Lenne...we will get Mafuyu back!"

For some reason, the fact that Mario pointed out about it not being the real Mafuyu did't give her any comfort at all. She managed to wretch herself out of his grip and she stood there, shaking her head. "How do you think that's suppose to be reassuring?!" she asked. "If that's an imposter, that means that Mafuyu could really be..." she whispered.

She headed for the Chaos Gate, breaking out in a flat out run and using a speed charm to make up for the heavyblade slowness, just so that Mario couldn't stall her again. Without waiting for her friend, she said the words for the area that Zero was in, hoping that he was alright.

When she got there, she immediately headed for the dungeon, still not waiting for Mario. "How can he say something like that?! How can he say that he will save Mafuyu when we don't even know where the hell he is or if he even exists any longer! If that Mafuyu is an imposter, then where is mine? Where is he?! Mario acted like that fact would give me some sort of comfort!"

Mario stopped trying. He realized the mistake he made in trying to comfort Lenne. "Damn me! What the hell is wrong with me?!" Mario yelled as he slammed his fist into the grass beneath him. "Damnit! I should just shut up! Why the hell do I even bother trying to help when my words make people feel worse?!" Mario decided not to follow Fiona through the Gate, instead, he waited by a tree, sitting with his back against it. He set a quick save point there, so when he logged in again, he would be there.

Mario logged out and quickly went to his inbox. He checked the latest message he had recieved from Zero. He typed the name of the place into the computer and saved it to his character memory. Just in case Fiona needed any help in there, Mario could jump in and save her and Zero.

Mario logged back in and waited by the tree again. He kept himself ready, in the real world, to receive any messages from Fiona. "I'm such an idiot...I have to find some way to make it up to Lenne for pissing her off like that."

While waiting for Fionna and Mario to come and help him get out of the area he keeps exploring the inside of the dungeon, but as hes walking around he sees a bright white figure floating around. Then he starts walking over to it because he thinks that its Aura.
"Hi Aura! Why on earth are you in a beat up place like this?"

The floating girl turns around and looks at him with an evil look in her eyes.
"Um.... Aura...... Is something wrong?"

After looking closely he relizes that the girl isnt anything like Aura
"Wait a second! Your not Aura."

He pulls out his swords and looks at her with a dirty glare on his face.
"I dont know who you are, but I dont like the way your looking at me so if you want a fight then ill give you one."

[Kera]

Kera blinked severle times "what happend where is every one" still in the world began to explore "Mario, fiona, Zero where are you fate, Susaku hello" she called feeling alittle lony and scared soon giving up and sat by a wall with her knees up to her chest

Mario heard a sound of loneliness...almost like a crying or sobbing. He looked up and noticed Kera had logged in again. She was sitting against the wall of Marcus's building. Mario smiled, knowing that at least Kera wouldn't be angry at him.

Mario got up and stretched out. He walked over to Kera and looked strangely at her, "Why are you so scared?" Mario plopped down beside Kera, against the wall. "What's wrong Kera?"

"im afrait i am not" Kera was denying her fear but still shaking "i didnt think i would find any one of my friends i didnt know what happend in the netslums its fuzzy" Kera was shaking and looking at the ground

Mario turned to look at Kera's fearful eyes. She was obviously trying to hold back her fear...but Mario could see right through her attempted disguise. "Kera...you don't need to lie to me. I was scared too..." He put his head back against the wall, "When you...when that thing happened to you after we left the Net Slums...I was terrified. I had never seen that before...and I thought you were going to die. That would have been devistating to me. Not only did I vow to protect you, but I care for you...you're my friend...and, I'm glad you didn't die." Mario reached over and gave Kera a small hug, holding himself ther to show that he cared. "Thank you..." he said softly as he hugged her.

[Kera]

Kera sat there shocked but soon relaxed and gave Merio a hug back "what happend i dont remember much all i remember is yelling at fate and Susaku and then its all fuzzy but i do remember hearing some ones voice" Kera stopped shaking and soon smiled alittle "im glad we met Mario" Kera smiled and then got up "so who were you waiting for before i showed up" Kera turned around faced Mario and smiled again

Fiona headed into the dugeon after waiting a little bit for Mario. "Maybe I shouldn't have yelled at him like that," she murmured, sighing a little as she ran a hand through her hair. "Well, no use in crying over it, I suppose," she added, walking through the monster-filled area. It didn't take too much effort to defeat the monsters that were there. After searching for a little while for Zero, she sighed, not seeing him anywhere. "I think I should have checked what level he was on before I came in her," she thought out loud.

BIC: Mario stood up with Kea and answered, with a slight eye-roll, "I'm waiting for Fiona to get back. She went through the Choas Gate to look for Zero. I was planning on following her, but she was pretty pissed at me. So I decided to stay behind. I'm glad I did...now I can talk to you, and you're not mad at me." Mario smiled and looked back at the Choas Gate. I really hope Lenne is okay by herself... He felt apologetic about what he had said to her, but he couldn't apologize because she was gone.

Then Mario rewinded the conversation back to where Kera told him that she was glad they met. "I'm glad we met as well, Kera. It's funny...at first, I introduced you to the group because I liked how you look...but now, I like you as a friend. Of course, you're still a good looker, but you mean something to me now. Thanks for being there." Mario started to laugh a little as he told her that.

OOC: in reality chibi chan the monsters in this particular area are anywhere from lvl 85 to 90 so it wouldnt be that easy. if you dont believe me play the dot hack games for ps2 .

IC:Zero quickly emails Fiona to tell her that hes on the bottom floor in the treasure room and that hes cornered by another wandering AI.

He backs away slowly from the AI with his swords firmly gripped in his hands ready to attack.

AI: "My name is Morty and I wish to understand Complete Death." She traps him in with a barrier so he cant get out.

Zero looks at her with a bit of confusion.
"Why would you want to understand death if your not even alive?"

Morty: "Death.......... what is death........."
She raises her arm in the air and holds a ball of fire in her palm. Then she quickly throws it at him.

He dodges it but gets burnt slightly in his right leg.
"Ouch...... How could i feel that? I thought that this was just a game."

OOC: Oh, I didn't know your character level was that high. I thought that your character here was a lower level and all...Plus, I haven't played the game in a while now!

IC: Fiona read the mail and nodded some, wishing that she didn't have to go all the way down there. The monsters were getting stronger as she went down, so she was glad that the weapon she had was above average and was stronger than most. "Basement...The basement...Why of all things? ...An AI?" she questioned, raising a brow a little bit. "Hope it's friendly," she murmured, heading down towards it.

"..."Fate stood silent for a moment,the damage in the Net Slums got more serious by the moment,he knew he couldn't stay any longer."I'll go ahead,I'll leave the portal open just incase."Fate jumped through the portal.

Fate reappeared in Relic City Lia Fail."Atleast I'm back in one piece."Fate took out his map again."So who's logged into this server?"Fate looked through the list,he saw that Fiona and Zero were in this server.Fate smirked."Bigoted Snowflake's Capsule?What are they doing in such a high level area?"Fate smirked."But still,I always like a challenge."Fate warped out.

As soon as Fate entered he was surrounded by monsters."Damn!This is just way too much!"

"Plasma storm!"A voice yelled.

All of the monster were quickly defeated.A girl then appeared before Fate."A girl?"Fate said surprised.Fate then shook his head.Just because she is a girl doesn't mean I shouldn't go lightly on her.Part of the girl's clothes somewhat resembled the Black Sun's,Fate became suspicious."Who are you and what do you want?"Fate said strictly.

"So the Saint of Swords cannot even defeat something like this?How pathetic."

Fate froze.He was once known as the Saint of Swords,before the events with the Black Sun.The girl seemed to know more than he thought."So you must of heard of me......you must please tell me your name."

"My name is not important for now,but you may call me Lyn for now."

Fate lightened a bit."Alright then Lyn,thanks for the help,but I am a bit of a hurry."Fate began to ran towards the dungeon.

"Hey,wait!"

"Huh?"Fate turned towards Lyn."What is it?"

"I want to come with you,if you can feel it,masses of data seem to be gathering here.It must be coming from the dungeon."Lyn said.

Fate smirked."Heh,alright then,if that is your purpose."Fate entered the Dungeon.

"The monsters here are powerful."Fate said as both him and Lyn ventured through the dungeon."I guess it's time to use the Ragnarok once again."

"...?"

Data gathered around Fate,then a flash,The Ragnarok appeared held in his hands."Alright,this should make things alot easier."Fate jumped up and slained a monster with on strong blow."We should becareful now,as they went to one of the more deeper floors."We're almost there,I can feel the data radiating around here is strong."Fate was running at such a fast speed that he could of sworn he might of passed Fiona.

When they were almost at the last floor some sort of barrier was in the way."Damn,we've gotten this far.But I'm not giving up yet."Fate held out his pendent,it began to glow and the barrier dissapeared."I think we should rest for a bit....."Fate kneeled down and took a Health drink out."You're going to need it too."Fate turned toward's Lyn.Fate threw a Health drink towards Lyn and she caught it.

"You aren't associated with the Black Sun anymore right?"Lyn said.

"You should of heard by now,I'm being hunted by them."Fate responded.

"So am I."Lyn said.


"Huh?"Fate was surprised,meeting someone else that betrayed the Black Sun as well made feel a bit strange.This is surprising........

The Net Slums

As Fate left the Net Slums, only Tanaya, Shugo and Rena remained, but Tanaya knew that time was growing short.

"Let us get out of here, if we stay here any longer then we might risk the chance of death."

Tanaya walked towards the collapsing chaos gate and waited until Shugo and Rena had left the Net Slums. Before leaving herself she turned back towards the Net Slums one last time and shook her head in dismay.

Aqua capital, Maq Anu

As they transported back to the rootown, Tanaya knew that the two dothackers had questions. Questions that needed answering before they were satidfied and were willing to move allong. Se would just have to be patient and answer those questions for the time being.

"It would seem that you have a few questions that you want me to answer."

Shugo and Rena looked at each other, sharing the same thoughts like twins are known to be capable of, then Rena spoke.

"Tanaya..... are you a wandering AI?"

Although initialy prepared to give the answer, Tanaya hesitated. These were secrets she had yet to tell anyone outside her 'siblings' and she was not sure she could. But she had to try.

"Yes and no. Yes I am an AI created when the world was first created, but unlike much of my siblings I learned to adept to the other players coming into the world, rather then becoming a wanderer. Who's only capability is food for the message board rumours. Before you ask, no. I have no idea were Aura is. If I did, we would be speaking to her right now."

"But why did you keep it a secret from everyone?"

"One does no go around shouting that he is an AI, such actions would cause great trouble. It is one of the things I learned when adapting to the world as it is now. Anyway, whe sould start looking for our friends, who knows what trouble they have worked themselves into now."

Shugo nodded, but Rena gave Tanaya a look that said that this wasn't the end of the discussion. The three the headed towards the area were Fate had gone. The Bigotet Snoflake's Capsule.

Kera blinked a few times at what Mario said "good looking....*twitch twitch*" Kera started to give Mario and evil glare but then smiled "guess i turned out different then you expected pervert" Kera started to laugh "sorry but what you said was funny to me" Kera started spinning in circles cause of her boredum "man where is every one im bored *sigh*" Getting dizzy Kera fell down one the ground "Oro i cant see strait"

Mario smiled and blushed a little as Kera laughed at him. He quickly got over it and began to laugh himself. "Wel...you are a beautiful person Kera. Not only on the outside...but on the inside, you are an amazing person...and amazing friend to me." He jumped up from his seated position and put his hands and Kera's shoulders so she wouldn't faint and fall. "Hah...you got so dizzy, Kera. It looks like your happy today!" Mario laughed and stood against the wall where he had been sitting.

"wha.... um i..um" Kera turned away from Mario a second and a small blush covered her face "um .... your a good friend to you know and a wounderful person, Mario" Kera said still facing the other way now her bangs where covering her face

Lyn walked away a few steps and took out a communicator."I've cornered him....what?You want me to elminate him?....I see......alright,understood."Lyn took out her rapier and stabbed Fate in the back.

"You think I'd go down that fast?"A voice called.

"Huh?!"Lyn saw that she attacked a hologram."You...."

"So you deceived me.......you did a good job on deceiving me......but it's a pity you'd gotten this far and failed in the end....."Fate picked up his sword the Ragnarok."Alright,let's go!"

Lyn slashed Fate quickly with her rapier,blood began to splatter everywhere.

What the hell?!One slash did so much damage to me?!I better counter attack quickly.Fate took out a scroll "I call you,Vulcan!"A monster appeared and did no damage to Lyn,the monster then dissapeared right away."I suspected this would happen,you're hacking to make yourself nearly invincible,to make your stats extremly high...if you really want to show no mercy,you won't fight like like some cheater!"Fate yelled.

"Alright,if you really want to see my real strength...."

Fate took out a healing potion."Now we fight for reals....."Fate rushed forward and both of their swords collided.

Mario looked to Kera and smiled, but wondered why she wouldn't face him. Maybe she wasn't as confident as he was. After Kera spoke, Mario said, "Thank you Kera...but I doubt that I'm such a good friend...I brought you in to this mess because of my own selfish feelings. I...I'm just an idiot." Mario turned his head to the side and stared at some virtual grass. He waited for Kera to respond...he didn't like to be waiting after confessing something like he did. She already knew, he had told her minutes ago the same story...but he felt as if he had done wrong...as if he had sinned and would not be forgiven.

Mario looked back at Kera and smiled. He grabbed her right shoulder and turned her to face him. "Kera...I didn't mean to put you in this danger that we have faced...I just wanted to know you." Mario's eyes looked sincere, "I'm sorry if you're angry with me...or anybody else in the group. If it hadn't been for me, you would have had a normal everyday life at home." He took his hand back and turned around. He punched the wall as hard as he could, "Damnit! Ow!!! Why would I do that?!" he had hurt himself against the wall and slowly began to smile. I guess I deserved it for what I have done...

"im not angry with you not one bit. I know you had selfish reasons but still once i got to know you and we became friends thats what i was refering to your a good friend i was the one that said i would like to meat your friends and help any way i can" Kera faced Mario seeing him punch the wall but doing nothing to stop him "if you punch a wall the wall wins sorry to say" Kera smiled a shy smile but soon the shyness went away and she just smiled "but i think you did hurt the wall" Kera started to laugh cause Mario left a small hole in the wall

Mario turned to face Kera and smiled. "Thanks for being here for me Kera...you're a better friend than me...and I'm serious. So I win this battle!" Mario gave a triumphant "HAH" and shook his hand off. His middle knuckle had some skin split, it was bleeding a little.

Mario stopped shaking his hand and took one last look at it to make sure it wasn't busted. "Thanks Kera." Mario hugged her. He seemed to be very affectionate that day. He released Kera from the hug and flopped back down to sit against the wall again.

Fate saw Zero and ran up to him."Hey,so you're alright....."He quickly regonized the burn in his leg."What the heck did that?"Fate turned towards the AI."A Vagrant(wandering) AI..."Fate drew his sword."We have to find away to eliminate it-"Fate shook his head."Maybe we have to find away to get it to retreat,it might create a huge impact on The World if we defeat it."Although Fate regonized how powerful it was."N-nevermind,it's a risk but we have to defeat it."

Mario looked up at the sky and realized the silence as well. "It is quiet...but not as quiet as danger would be...I've notced that a dangerous situation starts off in complete silence, then explodes with brutal anger. I'm sure we're safe right now Kera. We're just being given a moment of silence to relax and wait." He looked over to her and then looked back up at the sky. He pulled his kness up to his chest and put his arms around his legs. He planced his head on top of his arms and sat in silence...enjoying the virutal reality.

Kera all of a sudden stood up and ran off "i gotta see some thing" she said over her soulder :wait why am i running what am i running to: Kera had no idea why she was running her legs where taking her soem where to the worp gates probley hoping Mario would follow she couldnt stop so she couldnt wait

Mario's head popped up and he was attentive to what Hitomi had said. "Kera!" He got up and chased after her. He caught up with her and grabbed her, "Where are you trying to go? Why are you headed for the warp gate?" Mario gave a confused look and stared at Kera, waiting for an answer. "Please don't run away from me...I have nobody else to talk to...everyone else is somewhere else."

Kera looked at Mario "im sorry i senced some thing i didnt mean to take off like that" Kera didnt really know why she wanted to go to the warp gate "i dont know" Kera wanted to set down now her character some thing most be messing up but she didnt know what it was "im sorry" Marios grip was stronge and starting to hurt

Mario looked down at his hands on Kera's arms, "Uh...I'm sorry Kera...I guess I'm just a little protective right now..." Mario quickly released his grip on her and looked down into nothing. He looked up at her eyes and they shone in the sun, eomotionlessly...it was almost saddening to see...

Mario stared at Kera as he walked behind her. "Kera...I'm scared for you...I don't know what just happened to you, but your eyes are showing no emotion...no sense of life. I'm afraid..." Mario could tell that Kera was probably still being effected by the incident after they escaped the Net Slums. Please Kera...don't get hurt... He thought to himself in his fear. He kept himself behind Kera, ready to help her if she needed anything. "Kera, if you need anything, please don't hesitate to tell me."

Mario then remember that the two of them were in the same hospital in the real world. "Kera...I have a feeling there is something wrong with you. Not you as a person...just...I think the game is corrupting your soul." He knew that what he thought sounded stupid. "I think we should log out and meet up in the snack bar in the hospital. Follow me...I'll wait outside your mom's office." Mario knew about Kera's mom and her in the hospital and saw Kera go into her room.

Mario logged out and placed his laptop and headset on the bed. "I'll be back soon Lenne..." Mario said as he set off, knowing she wouldn't hear him. He made his way to Kera's room and waited outside...he could see her on the computer. His feeling of fear for Kera's safety quickly turned to anxiety...he really needed to make sure she was okay.

"why is he afraid better log out" Kera logged out as fast as she could.

Kera blinked a few times and took the head set off. and tried to get up for a second but fell back in the chair "wow i most have been on there longer then i thought" Kera slowly got up and stumbled to door cause her legs where asleep "come in" Kera saw Mario havent met in real life was alittle suprised. "come on in im sure my mom wont mind" Kera took a few steps back and stood and waited for Mario to get in and for you legs to wake up

Mario entered the room and stared in awe, quickly turning his view to another object, trying not to discomfort Kera. "Well..." he looked back at her and smiled to see her in good health, "I'm Mario. And you're Kera..." he quickly stepped over to her and hugged her. He decided to ignore the traditional handshake meeting. "I know you...I feel like I can do this." Mario smiled, blushing a little, hoping Kera wasn't offended.

"We have to go and talk...down in the snack bar." Mario said, letting go of her. "I want to be certain that the incident from the Net Slums has neglected you directly...I hope it's only your character that was effected and not you." Mario didn't want his friend to be hurt.

"He should be home...."He knocked on the door,but there was no answer."On second thought...."He smirked as he took out a lockpick and opened the door."Hey,Saiyuko,why didn't you open the door?"But there was no response.He went toward's his room."He's playing that game again....."He tapped Saiyuko on the shoulder.

"Huh?Who is it?"Saiyuko suddenly said.

"You're playing it again are you?"

Saiyuko sighed."Yeah?This is something very important you know."

"I don't really mind and all but..."

"Listen,Michael,can't we just talk about this later?"

"T-tch.....alright then."Michael left Saiyuko's room.A few minutes later the phone began to ring."I better get it..."Michael picked up the phone."Hello?"

"Brother,can you give the phone to Saiyuko?"

Michael sighed."Call later,he's busy right now."

"Oh,can you tell him that I'm going to stop by later?"

"Alright then.Bye."Michael hung off the phone.

Saiyuko sighed and took off the headset."I heard the phone ring,who called?"

"It was sis,you know,Kayko."

"I see,what did she say?"

"Well...she said she was going to stop by here later."

Saiyuko began to walk towards the door.

"Hey,where are you going?"Michael called out.

"None of your business."Saiyuko closed the door and left.

Saiyuko walked through the hallway and opened a door,inside lied a young man about Saiyuko's age."Leon...damn it,It's my fault you are in this state..."Saiyuko said in a quiet voice."Luckily he's still breathing..."Saiyuko remained there for about 5 minutes and left.

Saiyuko slowly walked out of the hospital,thinking about his past.Saiyuko clenched his fist tightly."Kuso...(Damn it),I must stop thinking about that...it is impossible to undo the past,if it has already happened,it has happened."Saiyuko felt a water droplet drop on his head,he looked up."It's raining...but it doesn't really matter anyways...to me atleast."Saiyuko sighed.Saiyuko took a picutre out of his pocket,slightly getting wet from the rain."My old friends...Leon,Ikaru,Shinji,Naomi, and Semyl."Leon of course fell into a coma,Ikaru and Shinji are still in town,so as Naomi,Semyl is Leon's younger sister,I wonder what happened to her?"I better head back..."

Blinking a few times just alittle suprised by the hug but nothing more "well its nice to meet you in real life to Mario" Kera smiled "Talking in the snack bar is fine" Kera started to walk alittle wobbly cause her legs where still asleep and wasnt waking up vary fast "Ill lead ok and i can say hi to my mom if i run into her plus i need a snack and i can get them forfree" Kera was joking alittle but scared what if the netslums messed with the real me not just my characiter will i be put into a coma Kera was starting to shake alittle but walked to the door and waited for Mario so she could lock the door

Mario stopped, involuntarily, to watch Kera walk out the door. Her legs shook...probably from lack of movement...but what if it was the first step that the Net Slums was taking on her? Mario followed Kera out the door and sighed in confusion. He put his arm around hers and said, "Let me lead the way Kera...I've been ther already and I don't want you getting hurt. I'll hold onto you." Mario smiled slightly, trying to hide his fear for her life.

Mario waited for Kera to shut the door. What if the Net Slums really did do something to Kera's real body...? What could I do? Mario sighed again at the thought of Kera in a coma.

Kera locked the door "im fine mario i dont need to be held" Kera started to jump up and down to wake up and soon started to walk normal grabing Marios hand and racing to the snack bar "come on i love running though this place" Kera ran over a few docters and nerses

Mario smiled in relief when he saw Kera skipping through the halls of the hospital. He walked after her and laughed when she knocked over some doctors. He caught up with her in the ahll and noticed her mom come out from her room. He introduced himself, "Hi Mrs...I'm Mario. I'm Kera's friend...and...we have to talk down in the snack bar. It was nice meeting you...and please excuse us." Mario pushed himself forward and tried not to get targeted by Kera's mother. Come on Kera...let's get to the snack bar...

"I should atleast get something to drink for now...."Saiyuko inserted a coin into a vending machine and grabbed a can of soda.Although,Ikaru moved away to a area in the town I don't know about.I lost Semyl's trust after Leon fell into a coma,everytime I visit,she just slams the door on me.Shinji lives near Leon's house,but I'm guessing Semyl wouldn't like it at all....Naomi also moved into a area in town I don't know about.Saiyuko shook his head."No,I've got to stop thinking about that...."Saiyuko finished his can of soda and got rid of it.

"Where the hell where you?!"

"Huh?"

Saiyuko's brother,Michael was waiting for me right there for him,his sister Kayko was with him as well.

"I'm sorry If I worried both of you."Saiyuko said.

"So you came to visit Leon?"Kayko said.

"Yeah.....luckily he's still breathing......don't know how long he'll last though..."Saiyuko said sounding slightly worried.

"He was your best friend right?"

"Yeah...next to Ikaru..."Saiyuko said.

"..."Michael and kayko began to leave.But Kayko stopped."You don't mind walking back alone right?"

"Yes,alright..."Saiyuko waited for them to leave,but finally they did."Alright..then..."Saiyuko slowly left,looking back towards the hospital for a moment,then ran back home.

"Alright,I'm back."Saiyuko walked past both his brother and sister and went to his room."Wonder if Kera is alright?"

Kera slowly walked by her mom her head held down and her bangs covering her face "come on Mario" Kera said emotionlessly and started walking she didnt want to get yelled at my her mom again it wasnt fun

"be good Kera and no running in the halls or youll be in trouble and i mean deep trouble young lady" Keras mom looked at Mario and glared at him then turned around and walked away mumbling someing like She needs to stop running in the halls ...... Shes being vary stubbern.... and stuff like why is she walking with a guy.

"Mario, im hungry and i wanna talk before it gets to late unless you can be gone for how long as you like" Kera was walking pretty slow waiting for Mario to cetch up but she was still being quiet and her whole body was tense she still hid her face

Mario followed Kera and held his hand on her back, gently, to let her know he was there if she was upset. "I'm hungry too, Kera. I want to eat so badly...I need a full meal, from the food court. And, there's no reason for me to be gone or anything...I want to be with you right now, I need to know if that game effected you." He looked down, his hair covering his face as well.

Mario took Kera with him, keeping his hands on her to make sure, now, that she was with him. e entered the elevator and took her in with him. "Kera...I want to know that you're okay...that you're safe." He put his hand on her head and rubbed her hair teasingly. He wasn't in the mood to be happy, but he wanted to brighten the moment.

"i.....i dont know if im ok" Kera said alittle worried "im sorry but i really dont know but i can say this you know me in the game before netslums so if you think some things wrong some things wrong" Kera looked up the elevater music was getting annoying she walked to the small box and pulled it open and pulled a wire and the music stopped "Elevater music gives me a headache and im not in the mood" Kera remembered some thing "im sorry my mom is kinda protective and annoying" the elevater stopped and she walked out waiting for Mario and then walked to the food court

Mario followed Kera out of the elevator and took her to the food court. "I'm sorry that you're upset about whatever, Kera...I just want you to be safe. He walked over to the Teryaki restaurant and got himself an order of chicken teryaki. He got one for Kera too to make sure she ate sometihng. "Here," he said as he sat with her, "eat this.."

Kera looked at the food and smiled "thanks i think i need to eat" Kera took a small bite but only eating half of her food stood up went to the counter and got a glass of sweet tea and brought a glass also to Mario "hope you like tea" Kera sat down and sighed "what did ya want to talk about i have nothing to do right now and my moms working and it seems no ones here so we can talk freely "im here to lessen and talk" Kera looked at her tea her reflection looked strait at her she so cold eyes staring at herself "what is wrong with me i feel emty" Kera pushed her half drank glass and half ate food away and laided her head down waiting for Mario to finish

Mario hesitated, but slowly came to asking Kera, "Will you show me your hands...please?" Mario knew of the different lines on the palms of hands...he knew which ones were natural and which could be mimmicked and try to seem real. "If any of the lines on your palms are straight...I can tell you that you have been changed." Mario sat and ate his food. The food was good...a very good thing to have at such a moment.

Mario had grown quite fond of Kera by this time. He felt her to be like a sibling to him...or like an extremely close friend. He hoped with his greates might that his friend may be safe from the grasp of those damn Net Slums' infections.

OOC: sorry i havent posted in a while guys but i was out of town then i was having internet trouble so ill just continue my little getting my butt kicked thing and ill go from where yall are at .

IC: Zero drops down to his knee in pain and stares up at Morty who is holding a ball of fire in her hand ready to kill him.
"I didnt think that i was going to die like this."

He notices a small hole in the barrier that she put up and dives out through it. Then he starts running towards the exit of the dungeon and hopes that he gets out before she catches up to him.

Morty: "You cannot escape. Im everywhere in the world and i wont stop untill you experience death just like everyone else."

[Kera]

Kera looked at Mario stangely then put her hands out "ok if you wish to see my hand go ahead" Kera laid her hands on the table slowly her whole body was tense and some spots on her back and arms started to hurt but she ignored it "what ever you want me to do ill do i have to find out if im ok or not" Kera sat there now like she was frozen in place waiting for Mario to say some thing

OOC: That be fine...I thought at first that you had abandoned us...Glad to see ya back!

IC: Fiona yelped as she saw the AI trying to kill off Zero, and when he managed to escape, she ran off right beside him. "What the hell was that?" she asked, running. "I know that was an AI, but why was it trying to kill you off? What is she talking about with this 'death' stuff?" the heavyblade demanded, all of this making her quite confused. Well, at least Zero was fine, and she could go back and tell Mario that she was sorry for yelling.

Zero runs just behind Fiona trying to get away from Morty.
"Her name is Morty and shes responsible for the recent data corruptions and data bugs. But as for the death stuff i havent the slightest clue and i dont really want to find out."

He keeps running and trying to look for a way for them to get out of the dungeon before they get themselves killed.

Mario took a deep breath and placed one of Kera's hands in his. He moved closer, bringing his face up to her hand. Every line he checked was fine...there was nothing wrong. Although, this was the only way that Mario could check for himself. He could think of no other ways to see if she was alright. "Well, Kera, you seem to be doing just fine. But if anything happens at all...I want to be the first to know. Don't hide anything from me. Even the slightest details that may not seem significant...I want to know of them." Mario stressed to Kera.

Mario took his hand away from Kera and smiled, but it seemed insincere...for his eyes began to blur a little. He was really scared about Kera. He had so much doubt that she was okay. He knew sometrhing was wrong...something beyond his own sight...beyond his own senses. He put his arms down on the table and buried his head in them, not saying anything.

[Kera]

"Mario are you ok" Kera raced to the other side of the table where Mario was and put her hand on his back "Whats wrong" Now it was Keras turn to be worried "Ill tell you if some things wrong i promise" Kera still had her hand on Marios back and kneed down "im sorry for worrying you" Kera looked away her eyes turning cold "i should have known i was to weak to go into the netslums, and i still tried to battle" Kera started shaking angry at herself and at her stupidity "i should have known better im so stupid" Kera got up and punched one of the walls close by then slowly sat down on the floor and stared at the hand she punched the wall with "i ..... i dont feel that" Kera was shocked she didnt feel pain fly up her arm at all
