The character has a bit too much saturation on him and the background is too busy for my tastes, take out either the swirls or the leaves..... the leaves don't really seem to have a place there so I'd recommend those.

take away the stratuation and the leaves. then clean him up a bit. he is blurry.
then soften the edges on the char.

The center looks a little mushed together. I don't mind the leaves, but I kinda find his image shadow a little too puffy for my tastes.

His clothes and his hand looks a little too pixelish on one side - if you look up closely. Try cutting down some details of the BG a bit.

Edited: Not bad - the swirls on the first one still seem to distract me a bit though in the center.

I'm pretty satisfied. The picture was pretty tough to work with.

Ahh... yes hold on - can you put the leaves back in the center for the first one? Try making it white as usual - I noticed the images coming in and I didn't have much time to look over and edit my comments lol.

Edit: Try sharpening his black hair a bit too - it doesn't match the white color so well - and his hair looks kinda blurry that way.

Ouch - All that needs to be fixed for that first one is the center of the swirls all connecting together - they kinda look clumped up, so I hope you find something nice to cover it - perhaps a suggestion - lol.

But its your choice - I dunno what others might think...

The second one - the character's hair was fine, but the first one looked kinda distorted - you got the right idea, but not too much on the effect, k? Good luck though - cool wallie ^_^
